Witchhouse Tattoo

I had an awesome experience with Vee. She designed a tattoo that was beyond what I expected-I love it so much! I’m generally very picky about art but I had no change requests to the design at all. I enjoyed the hand poke process more than the machine tattoos I’ve gotten, and her technique is amazing. Her lines are so clean and dark.I also really appreciated how much she encouraged me to take my time before we finalized size and placement, and how she was open to suggestions but also gave input so I could get the best end result. She adjusted the stencil several times until it was just right. I never felt like I was annoying her or bruising her ego when I requested something.I would definitely go back to Vee for another tattoo!

I highly recommend Witchhouse. I got my first tattoo there, and Courtney went out of her way to make my project happen. Even though it was a little ambitious for a first tattoo (20 hour back piece), Courtney accepted my project without hesitation. She was honest and transparent about what to expect in terms of editing my desired project to make it look best on my skin and also duration/pricing/sessions/aftercare. It was a very important piece to me, so I was very anxious about how the end result would look, but Courtney did a great job. The place has a unique atmosphere, and the staff are all chill and welcoming.

Excellent work. The lightest touch and one of the best tattoo artists Ive seen yet. Highly recommend. Also very sterile and clean environment as well as equipment. You wont be disappointed.

I absolutely love this place! My second tattoo from Witchhouse is now fully healed, and the whole process working with Courtney from design to finished work couldnt have been better. Honestly if theyd let me Id probably stop by semi-regularly just to watch movies in the waiting area...

My husband and I got the spur of the moment itch for tattoos when we drove by this place while exploring CT. We were so excited to find a shop that still took walk ins! The receptionist Ashley was the most bubbly, genuine person I’ve ever met and I want her to be my new BFF. We are both in love with the quality and precision of our tattoos and the service has us wanting to come back soon for more! Thank you!

My cousin and I went to Witchhouse tattoo for our birthday festivities. First things first, this place looks like a hole in the wall from the outside but is SUPER cool inside! As we waited, they had a giant TV screen and sectional that we got comfortable on. The staff were amazing! They’re honest and very giving!! The only thing I’d say is we waited quite a while as walk ins. Other than that we had fun!!!! I can’t wait for my next tattoo. Before and after attached.

I’ve been a long time customer of witch house and have been getting tattoos there for over 2 years. i am extremely disappointed with the recent flash event hosted. since announced, it was advertised as a walk-in event with vip tickets to purchase for added benefits and a reserved spot. this has been done before and at previous events i had purchased a vip ticket. today they sold every single available time slot for the day through vip tickets, which hasn’t happened before. even during my vip event, walk ins were being honored. i live over two hours away and it was not communicated that there was zero availability for walk-ins until we were there. even through out the rest of the day, they never posted telling customers they had no availability. i find the way the shop handled this to be very distasteful and dishonest. it seems like a priority was placed over profit (as vip tickets were $20 on top of the price of the tattoo) rather than the original intent of the event. additionally, the vip package is a recent thing the shop has started to do. previous flash events going back to 2022 were first come first serve only. as much as i love the shop, i would not suggest going to a flash event if this is how they continue to operate

I absolutely loved Witchhouse as soon as I came in. I was greeted immediately with warmth and quirky familiarity, although I had never been there before. Ashley is unbelievably sweet and fun. The owner has created an incredible come-as-you-are atmosphere, along with reciprocating that personal energy as well, which I have never known in a tattoo shop and was a true breath of fresh air. Most artists keep it polite with small talk, but the group at Witchhouse are there to facilitate real conversation, even if only for the window of time you get the chance to stop in & check out the amazing spot/art/etc. Going to Witchhouse was my highlight in coming to Hartford from Pennsylvania. I would love to come through CT in the future & there is no way Ill miss the opportunity to stop in again for more ink & genuine connection.- Thank you, WH. ♡

Loved the experience here for my daughters first tattoo. We were a walk in with time constraints due to travel. Ashley at the front desk was so helpful and looked at all the artist schedules to find a way to squeeze us in. Courtney was gracious enough to work us in to her schedule and my daughter left thrilled. A huge thanks to Ashley and Courtney for making this a memorable trip!

I love coming here. With only a few days’ notice they allowed my whole family to come in and get different memorial tattoos together after my brother tragically lost his life. Josh is such a saint— he not only stayed late for us, but also was willing to stay even later if another family member wanted one. He is an impressive artist and his ideas for the designs were amazing. Everyone in my family loves their tattoos.

I got my favorite tattoo from Breezy. She was super receptive to my requests even the ones I couldnt quite put in words. It turned out perfectly, and she was so great to talk to throughout the process. Definitely recommend!

Awesome spot. My husband and I did walk-in appointments. We did have to wait a bit but it was worth it. My husband got a tattoo from the apprentice, Jaxx - they were so friendly. His tattoo turned out awesome! I saw Josh and he did an amazing job on my tattoo - he was professional, meticulous, and gentle in his work. The shop itself was clean and inviting, all of the staff were great. Will definitely be going back here!

Went here on a whim and so happy we did! The staff is incredibly friendly and this has to be the coolest shop Ive ever been to. A theater space to watch whatever movies you want while you wait, an amazing fishtank, and pretine taxidermy. The artists are not only talented, but easy to talk to. Cant recommend them enough!

Got a tattoo from samara, amazing service and hospitality. The atmosphere was amazing and I got helped by everyone who worked there and even had the easiest experience filling out the paperwork. Really an amazing time with these girls and hope to be back soon. Ashley was also as helpful as possible

My wife and I randomly walked in here and got tattoos on our anniversary. The staff is incredibly friendly and suuuuper talented. Highly recommended for any of your tattoo or positive vibe needs.

I saw Josh for a matching tattoo with my partner and he was amazing. Everyone at the shop was accommodating, welcoming and the nicest people ever. The tattoos turned out absolutely perfect. This was by far the best tattoo experience I have ever had and it would be a pleasure to be tattooed there again. If I could give more than five stars I would!

They took my walk in appt the day of. The shop was great. While we were waiting, we were able to watch our choice of show on a big screen. The tattoo process itself was over before i knew it. It came out great and i love it. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get a tattoo in a chill down to earth shop.

We were walk-ins and both of us wanted huge pieces. They were really friendly and had the best waiting area. Great prices and not only did their artist Josh do amazing work he slayed both our tats and stayed 5hrs after closing to do it! If your getting work done definently go there!

Im currently getting a sleeve from Courtney. Ive been to a lot of tattoo shops and Witchhouse by far has the most AMAZING aesthetic, is extremely clean, and has the kindest, most inclusive and respectful owner/tattoo artist. Courtney is an insanely talented and meticulous artist. She has helped me custom design a sleeve from start to finish with a deft hand and a perfectionists eye and her style is one of a kind. I feel comfortable and privileged to have her artwork on my arm. Go here, you wont regret it!!

I scheduled my appointment with Mady a few weeks out. We had to reschedule because of the weather, but she fit me in the next day. Session went great! The piece is beautiful and she has a nice touch. Already scheduled another appointment with her.

Witchhouse is by far my favorite tattoo shop. Female owned, clean, relaxed, and with the coolest artists and most distinctive style. Its sometimes a challenge to make an appointment, but absolutely worth the effort. Their flash days are wildly popular, and the overall aesthetic of all the work here is cohesive and darkly cool. You can always tell when someone is part of the Witchhouse family. I started with a small piece, and a year later, Ive got a full sleeve! Never going anywhere else.

I don’t have a negative thing to say about Witchhouse Tattoo. I’ve gotten a couple of tattoos done at Witchhouse and I will always come back. The entire staff of Witchhouse is welcoming and skillful and the owner herself is extremely professional. The shop environment is also aesthetically pleasing. You can watch tv, eat popcorn, and hang out while you wait.I also always feel comfortable getting tattooed.Many people ask me where I get my tattoos done and without hesitation I send them to Witchhouse.

I have been a client at Witchhouse for years. Courtney’s work is absolutely exceptional. The shop is clean, unique, and inclusive. I have always been treated as a friend while being respected as a client. The shop hosts events, flash days, etc. I always recommend friends to the shop & stand by the quality of their work.

Visited the shop three times. Two for flash events and one as a booked appointment. Worked with a different artist each time and have had nothing but pleasant experiences. Artists here are talented and professional and I plan on returning in the future.

What an amazing place. This place is filled with beautiful artifacts, a giant fish tank, and even movie area waiting room. And of course brilliant tattoo artists. Highly recommend!!

So unprofessional!!!!Last week I contacted Shannon to get a tattoo. She emailed me to have an appointment I need to give a deposit to hold the spot SHE gave me the date and time and I said perfect gave it to her through pay pal and I sent her an email again saying sent then I arrive to appointment shes tattooing someone and shes like you have an appointment with me? I dont recall having you in today? whats your name? I dont even know what youd like? I felt so confused and uncomfortable like you told me the time. So bizarre so if you want to get tattooed here call everyday or they dont remember you have an appointment and steal your deposit obviously a deposit is to hold the time for appointment/start drawing I asked for it back but its policy that its non refundable even though I showed up... and Im sure she didnt start drawing..But on the bright side its aesthetically pleasing!

Dont waste your time. If you try to make an appointment theyll either ghost you or tell you its walk-ins only. Then when you actually go they tell you they dont have availability because of appointments. Extremely poor planning and communication.

Waited 6 hours, then called asking if they are still able to see me that day because I was waiting down the road less than 5 mins away and the girl put me on hold for ten mins then hung up the phone. Very poor customer service 👎👎👎
