Kaitlyn was amazing!! She completely styled my ears from the jewelry to the actual piercings themselves. I got 7 total piercings and she talked me through step by step making the entire process was simple and pretty much pain free. She is so talented and knowledgeable. I 10/10 recommend her for all your piercing needs! (It will only let me attach one picture for reference but she did both amazingly)

Wow! What a fun experience. My 16 y/o wanted to get her helix piercing and we just so happened to pass Rowan as we were shopping. Lauryn was friendly, professional and took the time to explain everything to us. She was so amazing. And we adored all the pink decor; such a cute shop.

Best experience for my 10-yr-old. She’s wanted her ears pierced and we chose to wait until she was 10. With how busy our summer schedule has become, it was difficult to find time. I mentioned going to a tattoo parlour and she was not impressed. Rowan came up on a general google search and we were very pleased! The cost and experience were top notch and I would highly recommend.

We had the best experience at Rowan for our 7-yo daughter’s ear piercing. She’s been asking to get her ears pierced for quite some time and while I kept warning her it would hurt, she wanted to go.I made an appointment on their website (super easy) and showed up a few minutes before. They showed us which earrings to choose from and once we’d made a choice, we went to the piercing chair.Lauryn gave us an overview of everything to expect and my daugther was nervous but comfortable. The process itself was quick and easy (they used the machine and did one at a time). No tears!Afterwards, they gave my daughter a certificate of bravery and we checked out. It was about $165 total with earrings, piercing, and tip. The price includes aftercare spray.I’d highly recommend this place for anyone taking their kid to get their ears pierced!

We brought my daughter here to get her ears pierced on her ninth birthday. It was quick and easy, and the nurse made her feel very comfortable. She had zero problems with the piercings afterward, and we went in for a check up a little bit later and they were very kind about showing her how to change the earrings. 10/10 experience!I scheduled an appointment online a couple days in advance and they were super kind about answering any questions I had before my appointment over text. They have WAY cuter earring options than tattoo parlors, and the store is so fun and vibrant. It’s a little pricier than a tattoo parlor, but I think the experience, the nurses, the level of cleanliness, and the earring options make the price difference well worth the money.My nurse, Berenice, was so kind and so accommodating throughout my entire appointment. I used to have a terrible needle-phobia, so it was so comforting to have her walk me through step-by-step and make sure I was comfortable the entire time. She was very specific with the placement and was so quick and efficient with the piercings! I had my doubles and 2 helix piercings done in one session and the experience was so comfortable and celebratory. I will definitely be visiting her again for more piercings in the future!**The black marks in the photos are just pen marks for placement :)

We went here to get my 6 year old daughter‘s ears pierced. The nurses were so friendly and made her feel at ease. They talked her through every step of the process. She didn’t even flinch when they actually pierced her ears! Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend this location.

This is the first time Ive gotten my ears pierced that I havent had a reaction to the piercing. Lauryn the piercing nurse was so knowledgeable, personalble, and professional. Her recommendations were perfect and my piercing is healing nicely. Also, shes so gentle the process was virtually painless. Run dont walk to get your ears bedazzled at Rowan.

I absolutely LOVE Rowan! I have been pierced twice here and the girls are amazing, ESPECIALLY B and Kyla! They are both so welcoming and very helpful! I love the energy they bring to the store! It makes me smile, feel welcomed, and heard. I will absolutely be back for more! I love how clean and sterile the store is as well! I feel safe being pierced here rather than going to a tattoo shop. No customer service whatsoeverI walked in for my appointment and I got no greeting except for the receptionist asking me if I was Emily. I was just told to look at jewelry with no other guidance. I was taken to the piercing room after I had chosen my jewelry. I had no clue who to tell because they were both just talking to each other at the desk they didnt acknowledge me much until it was time for the piercing. Very little talking during the piercing only what was needed for the piercing. They want you in and out and they dont really care to talk to you much. At the checkout the lady adds an after-care kit which adds $20 to your total, WITHOUT asking you if you want it. She literally just set it on the table and said this is the aftercare kit and then added it to my total. I never said I wanted the after care kit. After I went back in after I realized it was extra, to refund it she acted like it was just being offered even though to anyone who is not been there before it seems as if it is just being offered with no extra fee. Even though I just suggested that shed be more clear about it she acted like it was an attack in like nobody had ever thought she was just offering it for free. SHE NEVER TELLS YOU HOW MUCH IT IS OR ASKS IF YOU WANT IT. she literally only set it in front of me and told me what it was and nothing else. I hate being treated like its my fault there was a misunderstanding when its clear there was minimal communication. This place is a complete joke and the only thing that makes them different from a piercing shop is that the lady piercing me is a nurse. I would have rather been to a loud tattoo shop than to a place where I feel unwelcome.

I recently took my 4 month old for her first piercing. Unfortunately she was missed pierced (Nurse B missed the mark she had placed on her ear). She tried to tell us we were good to go, but we could clearly see that her piercing was off. She then told us we could wait an hour and come back to get it pierced properly. Once we came back we had another nurse mark her ears and she and Nurse B repierced our daughter’s ears at the same time. Thankfully they got it right the second time. If you come to Rowan I would recommend you take your time with every step and do not allow them to rush you along. I would also recommend that they provide more time with marking the ears properly as well as the piercing process so that they are pierced correctly the first time.

Originally I gave this business 5 stars because our in-store experience was great. However, we noticed our daughter was missing an earring about a month after her piercing when we were out of town. When we returned a few days later I called, and I was told that since it had been 30 days, we’d have to have them re-pierced and pay for a new set. I understand, but she’s 3 and it was 2 days past 30 days. I asked for a little grace. I was told it was company policy. I get it, but most places would offer some sort of warranty or give us a break at 32 days. Disappointing service.

My daughter and I got our ears pierced for Mother’s Day, and we had a fantastic experience. I chose Rowan because they employ nurses. They were very patient, helpful and skilled. Our earrings look great! Highly recommend!

They are amazing! B took great care of our 2 year old and allowed her pretend her babydoll was there for earrings too. We were in and out in 15 minutes, thrilled about the experience!

Quick and easy for a walk-in appointment on a non-busy day at the mall! Loved that they only used hypoallergenic or other high quality earrings, especially with more sensitive ears like mine. Staff and nurse was helpful and super friendly :) As well as I think the pricing was fair for the piercing and set of earrings. Would recommend!

I had such a pleasant experience here. I would highly recommend this location. It’s a little more expensive than a regular tattoo/piercing place. But the jewelry selection ranges and they have very cute ones.

We scheduled an ear lobe piercing appointment for our almost 8 year old daughter for a birthday gift. It was a very positive experience from beginning to end. Booking online was a breeze. Super user friendly. Several appointment reminders were sent prior to the big day. When we arrived we were greeted with warm and welcoming smiles.! The ladies were all so friendly at the front desk and immediately put my slightly nervous child at ease. We had Lauryn whom was personable, professional, warm, very quick, and thorough. We were prompted at every step of the way. We chose a needle piercing over the gun and she shared her own experience with her daughter’s piercing. She kept my daughter engaged and distracted while swiftly doing the piercing. The environment was clean. There were many options for ear piercings. Overall, we have already recommended to a friend and will be returning for all future piercings. It’s expensive but we felt it was the right decision for us. The experience was very very positive!! Thank you Lauryn! You have a natural way with people and you were top notch!

I normally dont leave reviews, but I had to share my piercing experience with everyone. I had my tragus pierced by Lauryn and she was AMAZING!!! I wouldnt suggest going anywhere else for piercings. Rowan has experienced, trained nurses on sight for any service you need. It wasnt as painful, equipment that was used was right out the package and sterilized, and the aftercare was thoroughly explained. I would DEFINITELY go back for more piercings.

Kaitlyn, my piercer, was super sweet and helpful during my lobe piercings! I was nervous about getting them done due to my vasovagal syncope responses in the past- but she let me sit for a couple minutes and talked me through the healing process. The device didnt hurt at all and I’m very pleased with the results.

Tipping was for a person whose service was going “above and beyond” what they were trained and paid to do. Way beyond! Working service jobs in many versions does not necessarily mean you should be tipped for doing the job you are supposed to do. In today’s world, unfortunately, we have made it a custom that just doing your service job correctly is “above and beyond” your employer’s protocol and customers are feeling required to tip for an already paid for service.Now, to be clear, was the service good or bad? It was good, and that is what a service should be, right? So, am I disappointed that I DID feel a requirement to tip for it? No, I understand that is unfortunately where we are in the U.S. What causes my review to be low is the fact that the tip you are giving includes the calculation of the items you purchased, not just the service. If you had a $2000 appliance installed in your home for $100 and you give a 20% tip, the tip should be $20, not $420 which would include the product you bought. My review is not low due to the service, the merchandise, etc., it is because of the companies’ misconduct in their “tipping” format.

The staff was so kind!! I barely had to wait, got help picking out my jewelry, and they had a great selection. I had B for my piercer and she took the time to make sure my placement was perfect before doing it. I wasn’t sure where I wanted it beforehand so she gave me multiple options. She made it such a fun and comfortable experience.

I had my third lobe piercings done, and opted for straight needle (the reason I ended up deciding to go here). The nurse who did my piercings was great - took her time with the placement and was very patient to ensure it was correct.I chose the 24/7 style earrings with the flat back.However, it was not until AFTER the piercing was done that it was explained to me that a longer post was used l to accommodate for swelling and if I wanted to keep wearing them after, I should come back and pay $20 each for two new standard sized posts. They also explained to me that the gage is slightly larger, so it will probably not fit my other piercings and if I ever use regular earrings in the new piercing it will like start to close and the original posts won’t fit. Super disappointing after paying for ridiculously up-charged jewelry ($178 for a pair of 14k gold with three small CZ stones) that I only decided to get because I planned to wear them frequently.Overall it was incredibly expensive (which initially I was ok with due to convenience, large jewelry selection) but then learned there would be even MORE expected purchases in the near future. This information was not not posted anywhere, and I waited 15 minutes prior to the chair being open, so they could have told me at any point. The fact that they told me after makes me feel that this information isn’t common knowledge, either.

Cannot say enough good things about my experience! I’ve always gotten my piercings done at tattoo parlors which has always been great work but Rowan’s environment is much more relaxed and welcoming. The piercing experience was as painless as possible, the nurse who helped me was so kind and professional, the studio is spotless, and it was very fairly priced. 12/10 recommend!

Staff at Rowan were very pleasant. We walked in to have my daughter’s ears pierced and had a slight wait but not too long. Once she was up in the chair Nurse Lauryn was very sweet and explained everything to her so she wouldn’t be scared. I would definitely recommend for ear piercing.

I walked into Rowan 30 mins before they closed on a Saturday evening. I had no plan to get a piercing today but the jewelry was so cute. The beautiful young lady at the checkout desk was soooo sweet, showed me her piercings, the jewelry associated with the tragus piercing and even patiently helped me work through a payment conundrum. Lauryn did my tragus piercing and was also fabulous. It was quick, educational and comfortable. I got the gold butterfly to represent an autoimmune diagnosis; Lupus. I highly recommend Rowan. It’s a quaint, personal and elegant little shop in the fashion mall. The jewelry is quality and the options are gorgeous. I already have my eye on a piece that I want swap out at my next downsize appt in 4-6 weeks. I hate to be that person who goes on and on in a review but I rarely leave them and this was a worthy experience. I got a needle piercing with a cute piece of jewelry and 20% tip for $140 and for those of you that care, they accept Klarna as a payment option! Now, if they could add nose or lip piercings to their list. I would never go anywhere else and recommend them to all the parents of my teenage girls’ friends!

I got both my daughters ears pierced here and they had a great experience.

I was excited to have a nice experience with my daughter going to get her ears re pierced. However, we had an unfortunate experience at Rowan piercing. I called the day before to find out basic details of hours/pricing/availability etc.. The lady on the phone was rude. However, I did confirm they took walk-ins and was told that, it’s first come first serve and if I showed up right when they opened, I could be seen. I planned my entire day around making sure I was there right before noon when they opened. We were the first people there and they told me they would not take a walk in and I would need to schedule an appointment online. When I mentioned my previous discussion the day before confirming walk-in availability, I was rudely told to come back at 1:30 pm as they were understaffed. Yet no one was in there but us. So we left and came back at 1:30 for our appointment. When we did show, I was told we would have to wait as there were multiple people in front of us. Then the lady at the front counter told me that “they have a fluid process and have to take walk-ins too and I would need to wait”. Then I told her what had happened earlier and why we were forced to schedule an appointment because the lady said they couldn’t take walk-ins. The lady at the counter looked stunned and didn’t know how to respond. So we waited despite scheduling an appointment to secure that time frame. I then specifically told the piercer that my daughter was getting a needle piercing in both ear lobes. She thought it was a device piercing and then marked my daughters ears to pierce them above the lobe. I was then shocked that they were charging $59 PER JEWELRY PIECE when I had specifically asked the day before what the cost was for a set of jewelry for needle piercing and told $59 for a set. Also, they were less than helpful and seemed irritated when I asked general questions. A bad experience and over $200 later, I walked out of there vowing never to come back. Plus they don’t take cash. The atmosphere in there is negative, arrogant and stuffy. What was supposed to be a memorable experience, was overshadowed by the staff’s unprofessional attitudes.

Experience with our piercer (Andi, I believe was her name) was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable and patient. Took one star off because other worker was abrasive and pushy. We didn’t feel she valued us much as customers. Took another star off because we felt the tipping process was deceitful. When they ring you up at the end, the suggested tip amounts (10%, 18%, etc) are based off your TOTAL bill. This includes the earrings, the ear cleaning product, and anything else you buy. Not just off the piercing service. We tipped 20% of what I was assuming was the ear piercing process. The price of each tip is small so we didn’t realize we’d tipped off the total until after we had a moment to look at our receipt. The abrasive worker checking us out didn’t bring this to our attention. It was a big deal because we bought extra items so essentially tipped them for buying extra things. We ended up tipping them more than the price of the ear piercing due to this. We felt cheated. Ultimately our fault for not paying attention. But it felt deceitful. Likely will not return to this place for future services.

What a great new place for piercings that is clean, professional and classy. Great to see this place pop up and know that RNs are staffed to ensure everything is done properly. Andy was great, attentive to details, and so calming for me and my 13 year old.

Incredible staff and super patient, informative, and so clean and sterile! Options for both device peircing for younger kids and needle peircing for older kids or adults. Only ears specifically but different placement options offered for the ear such as tragus, daith, etc. Excellent aftercare walk through as well! Great option if you want an ear peiricing experience that isnt claires or a tattoo studio that may not allow minors.

Scheduled an appointment in the morning. Showed up and was told they were backed up due to walk in appointments. Waited an extra half hour after my appointment time. Don’t waste your time. Would not recommend.

I was a walk-in and there were able to get me in. Wide range of earrings to choose from and the nurses were very attentive. Will definitely be going back!

The dark skin tone woman with glasses and long black hair profiled me here and treated me disrespectfully, telling me that earring worth $56-$130 are an investment for me... wont be shoping here again.

I had the most wonderful experience in Rowan! Kaitlyn was absolutely amazing and helped pierce my triples & replace an earring. The earrings feel so easy and gentle I went back and replaced my cartilage too! 10/10 would recommend Rowan for any of your piercing and earring needs!!
