I am so disappointed with how my tattoo turned out.I had such high hopes with all the amazing reviews. There is a major ink blowout on one of the wings of my moth tattoo that looks awful and is irreversible. I would not recommend this place to anyone who has any prior tattoo experience to compare it to. I have never had any lines blown before and the overall quality of work just isn’t what I was hoping for. Instead of adding small details like I had wanted Lavon used bold lines where it should have been shaded and seemed annoyed when I asked for shading even though that was in my reference picture. Instead I got this moth with bold spider web looking lines.

I had an amazing experience at A1. Lavon is an amazing artist. I had searched for an artist that could do the work I was wanting. The shop is clean and He was so respectful but more importantly I absolutely love my tattoo...its beautiful. He used a stippling technique on the negitive space and its just so sexy💞. I have found my fav tattoo artist and I am sticking with him for all my future tattoos.

They were great! Took us same day and did me and my husbands matching tattoos

Lavon is a cool dude. Got me in for a same day appt. Whipped together a design for me in a half hour or so. Finished up my pieces in a half hour. Will definitely be back when I can afford more work haha

Von is AMAZING 💖 He has a wonderful vibe. Patient, hospitable, so so sweet. Not my first tattoo. Von will definitely be my go to guy in the future. He has amazing attention to detail. Highly recommend him. Von, thank you again for the beautiful work!! Next time I will bring food for us🤭 I wish I could give you more than 5 stars 🤩

Lavon is amazing! He took time to make sure I was comfortable and gave me breaks when I needed. He made the process as painless as could be, my tattoo looked exactly how I imagined in my head!

I asked for recommendations for a tattoo artist/shop and A1 Art Tattoos was highly recommended. I spoke with Mr Von in 2016 and gave him a basic idea of what I wanted. He designed a cuff bracelet tattoo for me that I LOVE. I wanted another tattoo and again had a basic idea of what I wanted Mr Von worked his magic again. I recently went back to complete my half sleeve. Perfecto, magnificent, beautiful, meaningful and just what I wanted. I havent had my finished product an entire week yet and I get a lot of compliments. If you have an idea, sketch, or maybe some cover-up work be sure to check him out. When I say I had a basic idea I really mean BASIC and he hit it out of the park. Thanks again!

I couldnt have asked for a better experience for my first tattoo. Lavon was extremely patient and considerate. I would travel across the country to get another done.

Lavon is the ONLY artist I allow to tat me ! He is the ABSOLUTE BEST IN THE NAP !! Wish I could add pictures. But he’s professional, easy to get in contact with, flexible, & creative.

My husband came to get a tattoo and the owner was very nice, he listened to everything he wanted, clean, professional and came up with a design quick. He worked quick and did amazing I would definitely come back.

Even though we had to go where he was renting a booth at studio 77 he is a great artist and has very fair prices unlike other shops or artist with probably less talent! He did great work on my sisters tattoo if im ever back in town and get that itch or i loose the artist i currenty use i will be making that trip to indy unless he wants to come back up to the G then ill see him closer to home

My daughter and I went and when we got there the people werent even there and we had to call them several times and when they finally answered the phone we were told he had to put fluids in his girlfriends car and it would be another hour or so before he got there.. thats not how you run a business... the hours posted should be the hours you are there!!
