Our journey across the country to collect tattoos in each state led me to Great Day Tattoo in Indianapolis, and I can confidently say its the best spot to get inked in the city. You want to hear a story. Come closer get ready hands on chair eyes wide open here we go. These guys ROCK!!!!!! I was able to witness the great they do as they preformed the magical work o art. I mean it looks easy, but the attention to detail they display I wouldve been fired long time ago. Well praise God Im just a beat up concrete guy that laid the concrete patio in the back of the building. Yes I use my hands as well to perform lol, but nothing short of a surgeons hand comes close to what they do. Come join them and see for yourself my work in back and theirs upfront. Stumbled upon this shop by happenstance recently and walked in to check it out. Struck up a conversation with Bart about some work I was wanting done and he was kind enough to help me out there on the spot- did an amazing job too! Super friendly staff, super inviting atmosphere! Ali and Bart each did one of my tats, and both were super friendly and collaborative and did an incredible job. If its your first time getting a tattoo and some tattoo places kinda scare you (that was me a few blue moons ago), this place is a warm, fun, and inviting place to start.

Ive been tatted by Sav and Ali twice, so Ive been to the shop 4 times now and have NEVER had a bad experience or anything short of wonderful! Sav and Ali are so so sweet and amazing artists, but even the artists that havent worked on me are always so welcoming and have conversations with me! This is definitely my favorite/comfort shop!

I’ve been tattooed by 3 of the 5 artists at Great Day Indy, and each one has been absolutely amazing. Sav, April, and Ali all care so much about their clients, and do absolutely beautiful work. The shop is clean, inviting, and an absolute joy to get a tattoo in.

Where do I even begin on how great my experience was at Great Day Tattoo. I will start off by speaking of the business overall. It is filled with great tattoo artists that are kind, funny, and easy going sort of people. I spoke with all the artists that was there and when speaking with them, they made me feel as if I have known them forever. I enjoy an atmosphere where you can be yourself. My family came and everyone was very kind to them as well. Great business experience.My tattoo artist is Dustin (the owner). Wow just wow. He is literally the best. I felt as if I was a difficult customer and he made me feel at ease. He provided exceptional customer service and great tattoo skill level. He is down to earth, funny and understands the value of a great team with his business. Had an appointment and when I got there, they acted like they didnt know who was going tattoo me, then they asked me to come back an hour later because they didnt have time now. What is the point of making an appointment??

First of all the location is PERFECT I had a place to park right out front. All the staff was so friendly. The tattoo shop was CLEAN which is so Important!I get tattooed by Dustin for years, and not only is he super talented, he is a amazing person. I have also been tattooed by April and the talent is out of this world, but also such a genuine person. If you are looking to get a tattoo this is the place! 20/10 recommend.

I got a piece done by Dustin. It’s a black and grey octopus on my left forearm. If you want to see photos, they have them on the shop’s instagram as well as his Instagram. I really felt comfortable at the shop, everyone was super friendly. Pricing was on par with other good shops. Dustin’s technique was flawless and I get compliments on it all the time. It healed beautifully without any complications. I’ll be back to see them for sure.

I followed April here from Fountain Square and the new shop is great. Clean and well set up. They had a walk-in come in and ask questions while I was there and were super friendly and helpful. I think April is the best bc Im biased but I saw the piece the other artist Sav was working on and it looked fantastic too!

April is the best! Seriously! Quality work! I’m not joking if you want a tattoo don’t waste your time somewhere else. Spend the money and get your tattoo done by someone who knows what they’re doing. I promise it’s worth it.
