High Caliber Tattoo and Piercing Studio

Jay took care of changing out my nose piercing from a stud to a hoop. He was very knowledgeable explained everything and was cool to just talk to. I looked at their tattoo designs as well and I will be going there for my next tattoo. The place is clean, affordable and comfortable. I would highly recommend to go there for any piercings or tattoos.

Just got my 2nd tattoo on a trip with my Dad in Indianapolis for the Indy 500. Dudley was so nice and helped me figure out exactly what I wanted. Great guy to talk to. Very meticulous on the small details in his work. Took 2 hours to do and I can’t be happier with it. Definitely going back to here to get another indycar tattoo the next time in town for a race.

I can’t say enough how much I enjoy Amber as a piercer!! Not only does she have a totally down to earth & chill vibe, she also has waaay more jewelry options than anywhere else I’ve been - and they are all titanium or gold, well-priced, and also amazingly cute. She has some of the best piercing prices I’ve literally ever seen. Love her jewelry options, love her work! Nice and clean place. Restroom too! Unique decor. Stopped in and scheduled for the following week with Meghan. Meghan was very professional and personable. Made me feel at ease. She was always changing her exam gloves whenever she left the room. I had an old smaller tattoo redone to be larger and more colorful. I was very happy with the outcome. Price was very fair. Written instructions for aftercare given. Remember to tip your artist!

I got the (•Y•) pierced a few weeks ago, and they are so close to perfect. Amber was friendly and informative, the process was professional and clean, and the jewellery is high quality - implant grade titanium. The only issue I have is that both piercings are just a little more shallow on the right side then on the left. Not enough to be problematic (I dont think), or even super noticeable. But I definitely notice it when I look closely. All in all, a good experience.

She also will take the time to explain and help you understand how and why a piercing is done or turned out like it did. Id recommend Her and the Shop to anyone wanting a piercing or art work done. Amber pierced my daughter and was absolutely amazing! Explain everything she was doing before she did it and made my daughter feel completely comfortable! The place was so clean!

Amber has pierced my ear and my 15 year old daughters nose. Both experiences were top notch. Amber is well informed and uses only the best jewelry and equipment. She explained the whole process to my daughter, was so friendly and made both of us feel at ease. Would recommend her to anyone.

Amber did a great job on my nose piercing. First time going there and will most definitely be going back. She goes over cleaning even shows you what to use. If you need a piercing this is the place to go. May even talk to someone about some artwork next.

I just got my industrial done a few days ago and I have had a few piercings before by other people, it was the least painful experience I have ever had, as well as no bleeding, and surprisingly no pain when i accidentally hit it or swelling. Will be setting up other side with Mike once this one is done healing. Highly recommend, very clean, very communicative the whole way to make you feel comfortable. Very happy

Amber did my Double vertical labret piercings and they look absolutely amazing!!! May update with a picture once I downsize!?UPDATE been over 2 weeks and I cant get ahold of her. Even tried calling and I keep getting ghosted. I seriously need downsized and I guess Ill be stuck finding someone else to bother and pay to do it.Only reason it is 2 stars and not 1 is due to the fact that it was initially a good experience

Amber peirced my belly button. The process was swift, sanitary, and stress free. She has great energy and was informative and consent and communication positive. Highly recommend her - professional and fun.

After a long hunt for a female piercer also taking walk ins on a busy Friday the 13th, I found Amber! my sister and I were both getting our nipples repierced, and we both left feeling so thankful we found Amber. She was honest about how different piercing scar tissue would feel, and she didn’t judge or laugh at us when we both inevitably screamed. She guided us thru it, encouraged us, and provided a safe space for something tough. Her prices were also more than reasonable, with options for colored jewelry. I also appreciate that she uses smaller balls than most other piercers do. You can’t even tell they’re pierced if I wear a tight shirt without a bra. Amber pierced my daughters ears today & she was so patient and caring with her. My daughter has some anxiety and sometimes has a hard time calming down once she is worried or scared. Amber kept her calm, was sweet & loving & took her time and didn’t rush her. & then told her she was proud of her once she was done.I can’t recommend her enough!

I could not recommend this place enough! I got my vertical labret pierced about a week or so ago and I love it. The piercer Mike was very nice and you could tell that he truly loves what he does. If I decide to get another piercing I will definitely go back ☺️

So glad I found a quality tattoo shop since moving to the area. Cub has done an amazing job with my half sleeve so far and I cant wait to get it finished next week. His linework is very precise and his floral work is always beautiful. The shop is clean and Cubs studio is roomy and semi private which is nice. The only thing I do not like about the shop is the parking. It is very minimal and cramped because people constantly drive through the parking lot to reach an auto repair shop that is located behind HC. However, I will say that I have never had to park elsewhere and walk over which is nice.

A1 was awesome, really professional, great artist. It was my sons 18th and his first tattoo , I am so happy we went to High Caliber.

Philby is a genius. I cant believe the work he does and how much detail that goes into his tattoos. I have been a fan of Madonna since I was a very small child and was so worried that she might turn out looking like Lady Gaga. Philby made sure to reassure me that he was excited to do this tattoo and he would make it perfect. Well assignment achieved and was executed with perfection.Im extremely happy with this tattoo and will be going back. Highly recommended.

I got my first ever tattoo by Cub. He was fantastic! I was completely at ease. Everything was clean and sanitary. The owner chit chatted with us the whole time. It was a fantastic experience and I will def go back!

He was very professional and nice and he did it the correct way because my first Piercing was placed wrong and ended badly and had to be closed.so he place to dots on my nose and let me see did I like the first or the second dot. I got to choose my nose ring cause the first time I didn’t and he used very perfesonal tools on me and I appreciate it this was strongly a 10/10⭐️

This shop has always been great! All the artists really put a lot into their work and do their best to give you an amazing piece of art. I have a sleeve from Cub who will blow your mind with his traditional art! Great customer service too!

Great place for some quality work. My wife was looking to have a new tattoo done and Trinity was amazing. She went above and beyond to create exactly what my wife was looking. Good artists and fair prices. The shop is very clean and the artists and kind and polite to everyone. They have a great selection of jewelry and plenty of art/flash to browse through to help inspire an idea of what you want. They also have art for sale which is nice if you arent looking for something as permanent as a tattoo. Ive noticed that they also are active in the community doing toy and coat drives for the local kids in need.

This review is based on customer service, not quality of work. I went their August of last year (2016) to set up a tattoo for my husband and I. I talked with trinity as my mom has worked with her before. We set up a time and date for October as her schedule was full. Literally 3 hours later, we got the wedding invite for my brother n laws wedding and they asked for our children to be ring bearers and flower girl. I messaged her the next morning to let her know (by email) she messaged me back about a week later and asked when. Not knowing her schedule i asked when she was available and if it could just be for my tattoo as for wedding expensive thrown on us last minute we could not afford my husbands as well. I emailed her several times, I called the shop their on several occasions to get a hold of her. They said they took my name and number and gave it to her as she was always out of the office or working on client and still no call back or email either. I put down $80 and never received that back either. I do not live close but because my mother had got some good work from her i wanted to pass my business along. I do not recommend this shop unless you are able to put $0 down because you may end up out of the cash! - Tiffany Jones ( using my mothers account)

The shop itself is clean, but Shaianna charges way too much and then rushes. Definitely not a good combo when it comes to finding the right artist. The tattoo I got does not match the sketch, so if you’re planning on getting work done by her keep that in mind. I would not recommend going to her until she’s more experienced and aware of how unfair her prices are as a new artist. I’m usually not the type to leave reviews, but I feel like this review will be beneficial to not only Shaianna but also her potential clientele.

Trinity has done a couple of my tattoos. The first was a group tattooing with my two kids. It was on our 10 year adoption anniversary. It was such a great experience.My back tattoo is a tribute piece to 3 people I lost. It is so unique and no one will ever have a tattoo like it. I told her what was special to each person i was honoring and she created the perfect tattoo.I get compliments and questions about my tattoos all the time.I need to get a few more, lol

I’ve gotten multiple tattoos done by Shaianna Harris and each time she’s gone above and beyond she listened to every critique I had and changed it , and was very friendly about it ! She was on time and did an excellent job on all 3 of my tattoos, Shaianna is a talented artist and I see her going far in her career, very professional and polite :)

Super cool shop and cool peopleBUTI had Nathan start on a blk/white Odin themed sleeve. Quoted $700 for my whole arm. Works for me! Set up the first appointment, get my outside upper arm done, pay $350 total (with deposit), then plan another appointment. Unfortunately, my dog suddenly died the day of my 2nd session so I had to cancel. Reschedule, ask if were still good for the appointment the night before with no answer, show up to the shop for my appointment and nothing. Ive reached out to schedule the 2nd session with no reply. He does really good work but communication skills aint the greatest. I understand things happen but getting ahold of your clients and letting them know whats going on is kinda necessary.

Always go to Philby for all my tattoos, phenomenal artist. Lots of great artist at this location. Highly recommend

I went into the shop for a new tattoo and Rolley was very professional and he is the best that I have ever had and I now have 5 tattoos and the shop was very clean and the staff was wonderful. I would tell anyone if they are wanting a tattoo and you are in Indianapolis go to them and ask for Rolley he is the best. My tattoo is only 5 days old but it still looks good and it is not sore. I LOVE IT JOB WELL DONE

My tattoo guy Rolly works here. He is a great artist and very down to earth. He has done 4 of my tattoos. His girl Krista is getting into tattooing as well and her mandalas are dope.

I got a bad tattoo. Reached out to Bobby after I had no luck talking to the original artist about it. He was awesome. He completely reworked the tattoo and made it an awesome piece. My experience with him was incredible.

I Had an artist here. Her name is Trinity. I am not BASHING the parlor itself but Trinity quoted me for a tattoo, started the tattoo, then stopped answering my texts when we were going to continue (due to the size and multiple sessions). I now have a half-done tattoo because she just didnt feel like completing the rest. What kind of artist just gives up halfway through? Clearly this was too much work for her.

Trinity and Krista went above and beyond when it came to piercing my nipples. They were both very knowledgeable and took their time explaining the whole process and made sure all of my questions were answered. Will be going back to see them for future piercings 🖤

I only have ome tattoo so far but this is the place I will get the rest of mine at. Phil is an awesome guy and will do his best to ensure you get what you pay for/ask. Try having an idea or even a simple sketch for these guys though so they can base it off your vision unless you want theirs like i did and I love mine (its still not done yet)

Trinity is extremely quick and professional when piercing, she calmed me down when my anxiety flared up and was my motivational coach from then on out. All in all she gets my five stars hands down, hands down dopest tattoo piercer in Indy.
