Irish Ink Tattoo and Piercing

They were great. Brought my 17 yo daughter in to get her a second set of ear piercings. We did a walk in and only waited about :10. The piercer was super professional . He took the time to align the holes along the natural lines of the ear and had both of us approve. He talked us through every step. We waited for several minutes while we waited for the tools to sterilize. He would start until she was completely comfortable. Cleanliness was a huge priority. We watched someone clean the lobby area while we waited. The piercer wore a mask and went through several pairs of gloves. All of the tools were sterilized or came out of a sterile packing material. He wiped down the chair and tables with alcohol while he was explaining the after care. Everyone that we experienced was more than friendly and everyone said hi and thanked us for coming in. Highly recommend Irish Ink!

I went to get my first tattoo August of last year with my brother. It was a was a walk-in appointment, and Ill say it was a long wait, definitely schedule ahead if you can, but the result was amazing! Without a doubt worth every penny! My artist was really down to earth and made me feel comfortable for the entire duration. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Went in with 3 other people to get piercings, with no appointment. The guy that checked us in was super friendly and let us know it would be about a 30 minute wait. The vibe of the shop was really nice, you can tell they care about cleanliness and making people feel comfortable. Bret, I believe, was the gentleman who pierced us and I only have good things to say. He was so patient and kind! He did not make us feel rushed at all and explained the different prices of all the jewelry before taking us back to the piercing room. He wore a mask pretty much the whole time, sprayed everything down, wore several pairs of gloves, sterilized everything for several minutes before even starting. Really appreciated how clean and sanitary everything was. Looking at all the Polaroids on the wall was super fun while waiting for everyone to get done. He made sure all of us were okay with placement before piercing and explained aftercare once we were all finished. It was just overall a really great vibe and I will definitely be back to get more piercings!!

Got two piercings here, the front desk people are really kind and welcoming and the piercer was really professional and made everything easy to understand and sanitary. Highly recommend :)

Went with friends for several piercings with Jordan. Jordan was amazing! He has an amazingly steady hand and soothing personality (especially if you are anxious about your piercing.) He is incredibly humble and made it feel like such a welcoming environment. He actively seeks feedback on his work and is straight forward and honest. The piercings came out great and he takes facial aesthetics into account with every piercing. Very meticulous. I won’t see anyone else again! 10/10 recommend.

We took our 7yr old son in to get his ears pierced. We could not have had a better experience. The entire staff was super friendly and Bret done an amazing job making my dude feel comfortable. Highly recommend them.

My daughters birthday was recently celebrated by taking her to get her ears pierced. Jordan demonstrated exceptional professionalism and customer service throughout the process. I’ve had 6 tattoos done by Megan now and I cannot recommend her more! Her art is incredible and she does amazing work. I get compliments all the time on how perfect the lines on my tattoos are and how they look brand new even after 1-2 years. She is so kind and so considerate the whole time you work with her. She cares so much and goes out of her way to make you feel safe and comfortable for the whole experience. I also have chronic pain and she is so amazing about accommodating me. Everyone I’ve interacted with at Irish Ink have been so kind and professional, especially Megan!

Ive always been lacking confidence in a specific region of my body. It took a lot of confidence just to say what I wanted. Anyways, I got a peircing here this past Thursday and Bret did it.He did a phenomenal job. Ive got a huge confidence boost from having them peirced. He had me nod when I was ready and take deep breaths in, when he peirced and release the breath, when he finished peircing. He is phenomenal and I hope he never stops doing this.I highly recommend Irish Ink & specifically Bret as a piercer. Youre amazing!👏Thank you 😊

Called them for pricing and had a lot of questions. The woman I spoke with was very patient and kind. She explained everything to me and my husband and spent a good 20 minutes on the phone just giving info and suggestions without being pushy one way or another. Going to take my daughter for ears, other daughter for septum as soon as she is old enough and thinking about a few for myself and my husband. Thank you for being so kind, non judgemental since not every parent sets their kids get septum and just all around sweet.

Went to get a piercing two seperate times here. Was told the wait was an hour max. Both times would have been two hours because the piercer went outside every 10 minutes to smoke. Terrible service

Bret pierced my ears in 3 areas and also pierced my nose. He was professional, honest, and very personable. Ive never gotten so many piercings at once so he was really kind with the whole process and gave his honest opinion about my chosen spots which made me comfortable. He measured the spots and was very precise before piercing. When my new piercings heal, I will be back for more and Ill definitely be sure to see Bret.The atmosphere of the entire shop was welcoming and everyone was so kind. I got my 1st Tattoo on my 48th birthday this year. Before I arrived I was so scared and nervous, but after checking in and then talking to the artist I was relaxed and calm. I did have to wait an hour, because I didn’t have an appointment, but it was totally worth it! I love my tattoo.

I was with Mustardtattoo thats his ig. I paid over $200 for my tat they started to fade after week i called and see if i can get touch up they said the guy that did my tat was sick understandable I left message also reached out to him personally on ig him and none of them never get back with me.

First piercing for my daughter and she was very anxious. Bret was so patient and helped her thru her anxiety. My favorite thing he said was if you dont want to, you dont have too. I only peirce if you want me to and then proceeded to set away and give her a few minutes which helped tremendously. Despite being busy, I was greeted as soon as we walked in and all staff was very friendly and they took us back rather quickly. Bret is a professional and explained every step of the way. Got my first tattoo last night from beejay, looks awesome. Hes done most of my sisters patchwork sleeve and I love it. Will be back to get something from cooper once I figure out what I wantPs. Dont forget to account for tip when you get your first tattoo! Completely forgot I needed to so I will be back and who knows, might end up with a second when I go.

I came here to get my septum pierced by Bret..to make a long, painful story short, after two months, I just went to a third artist for another opinion. The piercer instantly noted the piercing was not in the right place, Bret insisted the “sweet spot” doesn’t exist, the jewelry Bret used was too small, and the growing bumps on either side of my nose were caused by mistakes made by Bret. As a result, I had to take the piercing out and wait for it to properly close to try again. As blunt as this review may seem, I just want others to know the truth. I went to Irish Ink because of all the positive reviews but unfortunately did not have a positive experience at all. Bret was very nice when we first met, but in the words of the two other artists I asked for advice, should have known and done better.

I got an upper lobe piercing (just above the basic lobe one) and it was done perfectly!!! The guy who did it (Bret) was checking with me to make sure I liked the placement and everything, and the piercing was done quick and as painlessly as possible. Overall experience was really good!! I went for my 14th birthday :D

My brother and I went in to get nose piercings. Jordan was very professional and made sure that he sanitized everything. He took his time and we didn’t feel rushed. We will definitely be going back!

Ive gotten 2 tattoos from the same artist at Irish Ink. They are both beautiful and healed well. They do use saniderm for aftercare. My best experience was my most recent. I had no appointment, and walked in an hour and a half before closing. The staff was extremely welcoming, and I ended up getting my tattoo done by the same man in a cowboy hat. His execution of my idea was amazing, and his work came out better than I could have hoped for. He was done with my 3 3d tattoo in under an hour and I couldnt be happier with the product. Bret is by far the best piercer I’ve been to. Knows what he’s doing and is always super informative as well. My friend got her septum and nostril pierced-first time ever- and he was super patient with her when she wanted to take a break in between. And as always he was super quick with my cartilage. Super clean super friendly and super cool people. Thanks Bret!!

The interior is incredibly clean, and despite how busy they are it’s still a nice atmosphere. They accept card and most places don’t which is nice. I went in for a few piercings and was pierced by Bret. He is a patient and very knowledgeable piercer, likely one of the very few I would recommend! In my experience he was polite and did his best to make it a comfortable appointment. I’ll definitely go back in the future!

I’ve been going to this shop for years, and I’m always impressed by their work. All of my piercings have been done by Bret besides one, and I’ve never had an issue with the healing process, he is very good at explaining exactly what I need to do for aftercare to avoid infections and what not. Jordan has also pierced me, and seeing as he was Bret’s apprentice, it goes without saying that he is also wonderful considering his teacher. I’ve been tattooed several times by Cooper, and once by Mustard(Gary). All of the work I’ve received from them is top tier, and I highly recommend their tattoos. Overall I can confidently say Irish Ink will always be my first choice when it comes to tattoos or piercings.

I was feeling ambitious one day and decided to get my ears pierced. Me not being good with pain and needles was slightly anxious. They do accept walk ins and everything was explained so well and I felt welcomed. The piercer talked me through every step and made me feel at ease. I will definitely be getting more in the future. I highly recommend them!!

Very professional staff. All the artists are very accomplished. Seth Leggios was my artist and he did a phenomenal job. He was able to take my daughters handwriting and add it to an art design I chose.You will need to schedule an appointment in advance or they accept walk-ins two days Saturday & Friday (I believe). My middle child will be getting a tattoo next month with Seth. She is also choosing to have her sisters handwriting tattooed on her wrist.Atmosphere is cool, calm, clean and everyone is friendly. I highly recommend Irish Ink.

I waited a little over a week to see how my helix piercing turned out and my suspicions were confirmed...their piercer did a great job! I absolutely love it. It has been healing wonderfully and I love the placement. Everyone there was incredibly friendly and the piercer was very clear and informative regarding the aftercare. The shop was seemed very clean as well. Their practically 5 star rating on here is well earned. If I ever want another one, the 40min drive it takes me to get there will be totally worth it. Love this place. First time being here and the guy you wanna see is Bret. My 7 year old got get ears pierced and ge was gentle and made her feel safe. I got my septum done and ge did a clean easy peirce and it was great. Felt no pain and no watery eyes. Highly recommend this place.

I absolutely love this place!! Bret has done almost all of my piercings. Hes very professional, detail oriented, and friendly. The shop is very clean and the atmosphere is laid back. I refuse to go anywhere else.

If you want any piercings, go to talk to Bret Hileman. True professional and very courteous. He explained aftercare well and really made me feel comfortable for my first piercing. I also want to note that he was more than accommodating after I decided I didnt like the original placement of my ear piercing (totally my fault, not his). I shamefully went back to the shop to explain this to him and he couldnt have handled the situation better. The guy spent a lot of his time (cleaning instruments, prepping, explaining, etc.) with me over the course of three visits just to make sure I was happy with everything. Lastly, the shop is extremely clean and well kept. Bret makes sure to sterilize everything in front of you, which I thought was great.

Ive been coming here for several years now. Pretty much had a different artist at each visit. Every time I go there it is a pleasant experience and this last time was no different. Extremely friendly staff and very clean store. Shout-out to Megan for an absolute wonderful experience. Clean lines, great conversation and gave me exactly what I wanted. I went here to get my belly button and tongue done. The piercer Bret does a really good job. Super professional and good at keeping clients calm lol. Both of my piercings look really good. Almost painless process. He’s also really good at keeping you in the loop about how the process will carry out.

I got my daughters industrial there. The guy said do not clean it with anything. Let the body heal itself. When we contacted him saying it Started to get infected. He said let the body heal itself. I took her anyway to doctor. She had a MRCA infection. It has ruined her cartilage in her ear where she has had 2 surgeries! Her ear now looks like an elf and still have plastic surgery to pay for. Please be educated about piercings before getting. The guy was wrong and my daughter was wrong for listening to him.

Bret is the man! Got a couple piercings from him the other week. He was super cool and quick but also did a quality job. I’ve had to come back a couple times since I kept screwing with it and he was always patient with me and took great care of me! I will defiantly be back for more!

Got both of my ears pierced and everything went really well. They were juggling a lot of phone calls and were still very timely. Bret was really informative and answered all of my questions. The place was very clean, and I couldnt be happier with the piercings. 100% would reccomend.

Bret is all around a rad dude! He did my dermal a few weeks ago, and yesterday he did my left nostril, high and low. He has very light hands and a gentle touch. Got my daughters ears pierced here. Extremely professional and their apprentice was well versed in answering the questions I had, such as the quality of their jewelry, which they used titanium. The place was clean and even with limited options on jewelry, due to current supply shortages, they still had beautiful options for selection.

The Piercer Brett was my introduction to Irish Ink. He’s done a few piercings for me (more to come). He’s a totally great guy and very good at what he does! Gary was my tattoo artist and it was my first! The tattoo has a lot of symbolic value to it and I made so some kinda odd requests, and he delivered. It’s perfection. Even better than I imagined!

First, it was expensive for 2 piercings. One nostril and the other was a smiley. As soon as the smiley was pierced it was off centered. I waited months for it to heal and I even went back and had them look at it and I was basically told that it was still healing & to “give it more time”. It never centered out, despite me waiting over 6 months for it to heal. When they placed the marker for my nostril I mentioned it looked a bit low and they insisted that it was perfectly even with my other nostril piercing that I had done prior. It also grew a piercing bump which I have never had issues with for other piercings. After it healed I went to change the piercing and it was VERY uneven, much lower than my other piercing. The reason I gave 3 stars instead of 1 is because the staff was very nice to me.

Love BeeJay! He did great work spent a lot of time with me explaining and making recommendations. I only got a couple small bangers during their walk-in time, but he rocked em. Will be scheduling with him soon. 💘🤘🏼Edit: So happy with my choice and deciding to make this my go to spot. Very clean establishment always, great group of people. Im in love with my new tattoo 😍💕

The piercer, Bret, was very helpful and informative. I lost the ball on my month old rook piercing and called a few places, as the place that did my piercing was closed, before finding Irish Ink. I like that he only uses titanium jewelry because I wanted to upgrade since it turned out my old jewelry was externally threaded/cheaper curved barbell. Which I now know is not good for a fresh piercing.Bret was able to switch out my jewelry after a reasonable wait. He was professional and efficient. I plan to return to the shop when I am healed and ready for nicer jewelry or for any future piercings. I highly recommend him!

This place was great. I had my lobes pierced twice, and they were professional and gentle! I have a small phobia of needles, so I was very nervous but the piercer was kind and made it easy. Highly recommend for piercing.

I love this place, it is so clean you could eat off the floors. Everyone there is nice and all get along. Music is fun and gotta say Bret is the best piercer I have ever met been going there for many years. He has done both my daughters and Is piercing. Also on my 4th tat from BJ he is beyond awesome. He is an amazing drawer and has a great hand for detail and smooth lines. Each one of mine he has taken the picture I liked and made it special and one of a kind.

My daughter wanted a tattoo for her 18th birthday. We paid $60 for down payment and to hold her appointment. She got 3 small butterflies on her ribs. The total time took an hour and cost me $350!! Absolutely ridiculous! Needless to say I’ll be taking my business elsewhere!

Bret the piercer is awesome, strait up and honest. My wife and I wont go to anyone else from now on. Id give them 5 stars but my wife and I havent gotten any tattoos yet so that could change. Either way Bret alone would get 5 stars from me.

Bret is a great piercer! Went in with my sister and young niece. Niece got her first ear piercings and he made sure SHE was ok and comfortable with getting them done. He also made sure to let us know beforehand if she changed her mind or freaked out he wouldnt do it. Which I think is very professional & all piercers should abide by this rule. Luckily she was ready and although nervous she did well thanks to imo having such a kind piercer who explained it all so well before and after. My sister got a single nose piercing and I got both nostrils done. All look great and was very happy with how well he explained after care and just the fact that he also made us feel welcome the whole time. This is my 2nd time being here. 1st was septum piercing which healed wonderfully. I know these will all heal amazing too. Please if youre thinking of getting a piercing come here! He knows what hes doing and will talk options over and explain it all PROPERLY. Dont risk going somewhere else or cheaping out and getting a 20 buck piercing it will be off center, get infected or worse. Go here hes got the experience thats obvious. Great place for kids 1st ear piercings too! He treats kids kindly and most importantly makes sure they understand and are ok with it too! I have had a cruddy piercing in the past and never again I will always go here from now on and tell others too as well! Thanks again Bret 😊

Very fast piercing. Bret is super knowledgeable and shared tons of information about the proper care and techniques of the type of piercing I got. I am a woman who wears the hijab and did not feel awkward or out of place at all. The atmosphere is clean, inviting and creative. Ill definitely be back.

Wife was told getting her ears pierced could be an hour+ wait as there were 6 teenage girls who wouldnt decide if they wanted their ears pierced or not. We were told before that they didnt take appointments either. They turned away a perfectly good customer for some indecisive kids.

Seth took on doing our sister tattoos for me and my two sisters close to closing time. Needless to say we are about poking fun and always looking to have a good laugh and do not live in the Greenwood, Indiana area. He was very accommodating and professional. His quality of work was MORE than I could have asked for. He was willing to let loose a little and have a little comical banter with us! It was great! This is the only place I will go. I drive about an hour or more to get my tattoos done and wouldnt even consider anything else. The environment is remarkably clean and nice every single time. Cooper is the absolute best. I always recommend him for his incredible craftsmanship and his unique style.

These people were the most professional and kind that people that I’ve encountered in a tattoo parlor. They showed hospitality and were welcoming the entire time. Overall they were wonderful. After my experience today I would most definitely say that this will Be my new tattoo home

I got my nipples pierced about a year ago and they’re now almost fully healed, the piercer was amazing and really put my mind at ease and the whole environment was awesome.

Took my 16 year old to get her ears pierced here. Bret made her feel comfortable and did an excellent job. She can’t wait to go back and get her second set.

I went to get my septum pierced. I called ahead of time because you know, rona. But anyways, they were accepting walkins. I waited 10 minutes. Everything was clean and neatly laid out before I went into the room. Peircer asked whether I wanted a horseshoe or a hoop. I didnt care. So we flipped a coin. Ended up in getting a horseshoe. Painless! Fast! And I was super comfortable with my peircer! Going back for my next peircings this weekend!Update. Got a tattoo there as well. Love it v going back in another week for another tattoo. 🌝

I was able to get in right away(well, due to covid, I had to call from parking lot to schedule an apoointment for right then)...Abby was very personable and helpful, and directed me to Tank, who seemed as eager to do the tatt, as I was to get it!!! Enthusiasm for my tatt was amazing, as were the tattoos of my dogs names that he gave me...Phenomenomal price too...Cant wait to return!!!

So I got my nipples pierced about 2-3 months ago at this location and the 2nd or 3rd day immediately at complications with the bar being short which caused the ball to get STUCK in my nipple. I go back and they put in slightly bigger bars yet again no measurements but i believed they knew what they were doing. NO. I am now left with permanent damage to my nipple because they did not use the proper jewelry and probably won’t be able to get them pierced again with how bad it is.

Went to get my septum pierced and was completely nervous. Jordan is AWESOME!! I felt NOTHING and he was super informative and patient with me. Will only go to him from now on for piercings!!!!

I went here for my septum piercing and He did a great job. So I went back to get my vch pierced a couple months later. After I felt like something was weird. So I started looking and decided it may be shallow. I went to a shop close to me, known for quality, and learned it was shallow and the wrong size of jewelry. Had he put the right size jewelry in my shallow piercing it would have messed things up though. So I learned cheaper just means you may end up somewhere else down the line. Cool guy. Id say hit or miss work.

I got a tattoo here just over 1 year ago and today while scrolling on pinterest found out that it is a stolen design. The original and rightful artist is Gilly Schaefer. The female artist who I believes name was april did not give me what I thought i was getting which was an original design. I was supposed to go back to get it finished but because of this I see thats not an option. 100% dont recommend coming here unless you want to get jipped. I posted pictures to their photo section, so hopefully they go through so people can see it and not get a copy of another artists work. Pure laziness on her part.

For my first colored ink, I wanted a female tattoo artist. I didnt really have a reason... Just a feeling that a female hand would be best. I walked into Irish Ink in Greenwood and was floored by the beautiful art of Brooke Hume. I still need to go back for my touch ups, but I think I finally understand the concept of having one artist for all of your ink. My past tattoos have been done in all black, and I never used the same artist twice. Most of them are scarified from heavy handed artists. But Brooke really understood wanting my new ink to look organic (its a blossoming lotus flower with an OM on a center petal), and she did an absolutely amazing job! My girlfriend even got her first tattoo from Brooke! Brooke and I have talked about future art I want to get, and with her skills as a painter and artist in general Im practically chomping at the bit to get in the shop and under her skilled needle once again! I really cannot properly describe how amazing it makes me feel to have such a beautiful piece of art as a part of my flesh. I got my first tattoo in 1998, and I really cant imagine getting ink from anyone else (unless Brooke recommended them)!

I went in to get my tongue pierced with the sideways kind not the bar bell. He was professional and clean. It didnt hurt at all and the healing was so easy it never even hurt. I went to an all you can eat place the next day lol. I wish I could remember his name but this was a long time ago now.

I visited a few shops before I landed on irish ink, they were all busy or crazy. One my step brother went to said I could only have my very simple tattoo 5 inches or larger and they estimated it would cost $200-$250. Needless to say I ran out of there. When I was at irish ink I got to deal with cooper who did a really clean job and it was only $80. He did it the size I wanted and twice as good as the other place wouldve on top of it all it really didnt take long to do which I appreciated cuz ouch. Great place to get your first tattoo, 2 thumbs up!

The gentleman that does the piercings is absolutely amazing, he explains everything hes gonna do and how to take care of it afterwards, he has done two piercings for my daughter, he has compassion for what he does and always talks to my daughter and she is relaxed when he does the piercing.
