MASTERWORK TATTOO

My best friend and I stopped in for matching tattoos on a roadtrip and could not have had a better experience. We had booked in advance and sent over a simple design that we decided to change last minute. Patrick and another gentleman were kind, patient, and accommodating. The shop was floor to ceiling tattoo art, we loved it. THANK YOU, we will definitely stop in next time were in Indianapolis!

My best friend & I were in town for a conference & decided to get tattoos. We walked down from the convention center and Reuben was able to take care of us right then. He was absolutely amazing!! 10/10 experience! My friend and I called for walk in appointments, and Reuben was able to fit us in last minute. He was so accommodating and worked with both of us until we were happy with our designs. He was really careful to make sure we were comfortable and beyond that, he’s an amazing and talented artist and a really cool guy! I definitely recommend this place and Reuben specifically if he can get you in!

I was a walk in later in the afternoon mid week. Diago greeted me when I walked in and asked what I was looking for. Told him a location and style he said he would finish up with the current client and work with me.We talked about design and placement, what future additions I might want and settled on the tattoo. I chose to let him drive and I am very happy with the result. Price was fair for the area and quality. If I am ever in the Indianapolis area again I will try to come back for more. Highly recommended.

I did a walk in with a friend of mine and we were welcomed in nicely. I don’t remember the artists name but he was professional, kind and didn’t make it seem like it was annoying him that I was a walk in (which I’ve had happen before). The piece was a cute little elbow. The only thing I wish was different was it was colored in more rather than just the little bit of red. But that may be my fault than the artists.

I have been tattooed at several downtown Indy shops, this one is always one of my favorites. Extremely talented team, great pricing, and most important - quality tattooing. Easy to find parking if youre accustomed to parking downtown. Inside, the shop is clean and the staff is friendly. I highly recommend and cant wait to get back in there. Wonderful experience! Shop was neat and clean. Diego took a look at the pic of the black one I had of the type of work I wanted. He was able to change it into a beautiful colorful one! He was always polite and patient, asking frequently if I needed a break. I am very pleased and happy with the services provided. I highly recommend this artist to all, GO, THIS IS THE PLACE. Called in advance and spoke to Donnie about doing a few same day walk ins on Mothers Day. Took pictures in to give him an ideal of what we were looking for. He drew our pieces out and made the modifications we asked for. He was fun and kind. The tattoos are beautiful. Overall it was a great experience and I know we will be back for more!

Insensitive staff. Went in to get a tattoo of a handprint of my baby who I just lost, explained the situation, and the guy immediately went back to what he was doing before I walked in without acknowledging me. When I asked about his approach re line work, he was offended and replied I do fine lines every day but is there someone else you wanted to talk to? When I tried to clarify, he became sarcastic and just repeated himself slower. He was genuinely rude and insensitive. I do not recommend if you want to collaborate on something with an actual artist who wont get offended by simple questions, can handle collaboration regarding an idea, and is able to show even a tiny bit of care for their customers.

Nick McNulty is an incredibly talented artist! He books about 3 months out, but is well worth the wait! He is very easy to work with on designs too.

Patrick delivered the ultimate walk-in tattoo experience. I wanted two impulse birthday tattoos and he got me in immediately, and drew them both to description, even in different styles. Tattoos were quick and cleanly executed. Patrick was friendly and professional. I really recommend.

I walked in on a Saturday afternoon looking to get an illustration from a favorite book tattooed on my left forearm. Diego did a wonderful job, the place is clean, bright, and welcoming. Easy to find, easy to park. Make sure you bring cash! Its a bit of a walk to the closest ATM.

I did enjoy my experience for sure, cool building and mostly friendly staff but I am pretty unsatisfied with my tattoo. To start off my artist was 30 minutes late which wasn’t that big of a deal. I can’t give much of a review as I am not a tattoo artist but the lines on my tattoo are not straight at all and I’m kind of disappointed and embarrassed with it.I’ll attach an image of what I wanted and another of what I got. Hopefully next time it’ll turn out better.

Nick is amazing! Personable and welcoming staff. Parking is sometimes hard to find but thats to be expected of a downtown Indy business. Try the soup and sandwich shop below the business. Just dont block the door to Masterwork! 😁

I hit their Friday the 13th $20 tattoo day for the second time today! They do a great job keeping the crowd moving quickly and produce good work. The location is also convenient and right downtown Indy.

No set price at the beginning, I asked how much on the phone and when I showed up, charged me $80 for a tiny smiley face on my middle finger about half and inch wide and was also very crooked and uneven
