This was the most amazing place to get a piercing done!!!! I saw Paige, who did my daith piercing in BOTH ears, on the same day. It was not even painful. I heard so many horror stories ahead of time about how painful it would be and about people passing out. With Paige, none of that happened. She was so amazing. I didnt have any pain at all!! She was friendly. She answered any questions I had. I would suggest this place to anyone!!!

I got my tattoo done by Paul, and it was an awesome experience. It was my first tattoo and he made sure I knew what was going to happen, and made sure I was very comfortable. The tattoo turned out great and healed perfectly!!

I go to Paige, and have recommended her to many other people. Super fast, appointment only but you can email them. I showed up early due to knowing the parking sitch and they got me all checked in and back. I love the selection of jewelry for the piercings and you can always come in and pick new stuff and have it exchanged. I will forever recommend this shop for its cleanliness and being super friendly, the people are great!

Amazing assortment of jewelry in a very clean and artful setting. Staff is so knowledgable and helpful, took time to help my daughter and I pick the right jewelry for our tragus piercings. Heather is hands down the best piecer I have ever had... she was patient, taking to time to place the earring, and made the whole experience easy! Cant wait for next one.

Had a piercing done at Metamorphosis today. It was an amazing experience. Paige assisted me. She was very welcoming, informative, patient, caring, & very clean. Everything was brand new out the pack. She made my experience smooth sailing. The other ladies were nice too. I bugged her for two days about this piercing and she was so unbothered about it & I love that because most people will get frustrated by so many questions.

Id previous stopped at Metamorphosis for an earring change. I had such a good experience I just went back today for a double helix piercing. Up front, they helped me pick out the best earring for the look I wanted. Heather performed the actual piercing and was kind, engaging, and gentle/precise with the actual piercing. Will come back again for my next one!

I had my daith pierced and was super nervous it would hurt. But Paige was awesome and the experience was great and a piece of cake. I ended up getting 2 more ear piercings with it.

This job is awesome. They have been great every time Ive gone. They only use high quality jewelry, so Ive never had a bad reaction. This time I got a pair of high nostril piercings and the woman did a great job. She was very patient marking it up and her piercing technique was perfect. Quick and smooth, and thats especially impressive with the location of the piercing. The shop is also very clean and the atmosphere is relaxed. Highly recommend them!

Paige pierced one of my nostrils and she was awesome! Shes super chill and answered all of my questions. She made me feel calm and relaxed through the whole process.The shop is super cool, clean, and comfortable. The staff was kind and welcoming. Plus, there was lots of cool, high grade jewelry to choose from.Theyre appointment only, but it was really easy to get everything set up. I had my nostril pierced here last Thursday. It was super easy to get scheduled for an appointment. It seemed like a lot of appointments are handled at once - It was busy. I was greeted - I mentioned that I had a 1:00 P.M. piercing appointment. The employee at the front desk helped me pick out jewelry - and the jewelry options are plentiful & set up very nicely. (The shop in general was very clean, nice, and somewhat relaxing - even though it was busy.) I had to fill out a form. Pretty much the moment I was done with my form, someone came out & had me go back for my piercing. The efficiency was great... but I never even found out her name. She was friendly! She made the piercing process easy and quick. I was in and out in less than fifteen minutes, from entry to exit. The employee gave me plenty of aftercare information during my appointment, but... I wish that a paper with the information was provided when leaving. I will definitely return here to get jewelry as well as for future piercings. I went back and forth on whether to rate four or five stars... One reason I left a star off is because the employee who did my piercing didnt inform me who she was or anything - I figured it was a similar situation to a tattoo artist, where you would get a name & return to them each time you have a need. Believe it or not, another factor in leaving a star out... is that the card payment system doesnt allow you to leave a tip! I always tip my artists, and I dont think a professional piercer should be any different. I would have liked to get a name & a business card, and I wanted to leave a tip. Ill be sure to bring cash in the future for tipping the professional who helps me. I highly recommend this place - but be advised, youll be in & out in a flash for piercings! That might make things more appealing to some, but I had no idea how fast things would go. Hahah. I saw previous reviews mention the shop not being upfront about costs... I didnt have that issue at all. For my piercing and my jewelry, I paid around $104.00. (The jewelry I chose was a titanium post with opal on the end of it, in one of the middle sizes available). I trusted the shop, but should’ve researched the artist assigned to my request. Guy was not creative, not good with lettering, seemed uninterested in the ($400 w. tip) job assigned to him, and I am left with regret. I really looked forward to getting work done there.

I am happy with my piercing, but they up charged me a few things without saying anything. I conveniently found my receipt tucked in my new jewelry box. I bought new jewelry, which was pricey, but I wanted nicer jewelry than found on Amazon. I also wanted the right sizing, which I cant easily find. When finding my receipt, weeks late and wondering why I was charged so much. It had an upcharge for changing out my jewelry, which I took mine out myself and was offered to put the new one in. Not being told, theyd charge you for it. Then I looked, and I had an upcharge for the back of the jewelry I bought with my piercing when the piece should have been only one price. Ive never seen anyone charge for one piece separately for one single piercing. My nose piercing was cheaper than the forward helix. At a different location, of course. Beware, they dont have prices labeled on any jewelry nor their piercings. Nor are they very forth coming until youve already paid and find out why. Wont be coming back unless Im given a refund, which I highly doubt will happen.

I got my nose pierced by Paige and she did a fantastic job. I asked a bunch of after care questions, all of which she answered confidently. The shop itself is beautiful and very clean. They have a lot of jewelry options, all high quality and for a good price.

Booked a piercing day of with Kristin -- she was 10/10!! Nose piercing was so quick and painless. She was great at explaining post care. I missed catching her name but the front clerk was very helpful with choosing my jewelry!

Stopped in the shop on a Wednesday early evening to get my nose repierced. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The shop seemed very clean and sterile yet inviting.They have a good selection of cute nose rings all different sizes. The piercing was fast and pretty painless. If youre going for a tattoo they only take appointments.

Ive gotten two piercings and a tattoo here. Its awesome, just go if youre wanting nice people, a nice environment, and good work. I just got my nipples done here and Paige was amazing at making me feel comfy, safe, and was very professional. Kristin has done my septum and Trevor did my cover up tattoo. Every single time Ive been its just a comfy experience :)

What a great experience. We were both nervous but the staff was knowledgeable and put both of us at ease. I felt very confident that my piercing would be done correctly and as I wanted it.

These folks have the staff for your tats and piercing wants (so many places do not have a piercing staff)...more importantly, this sign on the counter lets you know they have the right philosophy on life too (but I would add dogs to it as well)

I really enjoyed my time here. Heather did my nose piercing and I love it. At first I was really intimidated to go in there, but the atmosphere is friendly. Im definitely going there again, but this for ear piercing.

Do not come here for your piercings !!!! Way overpriced and they are not upfront about the pricing. They charged per earing plus the closing disk per earing ! The starting cost is not 50 it just depends where you are getting your piercing in . The staff is rude and could care less about the customer . Complete scammers.

The quality of the services you receive here is amazing. Unfortunately they also told my abuser all about my visit, my private information, and played dumb when I asked them about it. So, if you dont mind the rudest dudes, go for it. Otherwise, Id never go back.

Got a small tattoo done by Paul. Place was clean and friendly. Paul took great care in making sure I got what I was envisioning to honor my longtime family cat and was very informative about aftercare.

Joe is true artist he listened to what I wanted and created a beautiful design. Everyone was welcoming. Very clean surroundings. I cant wait to get my next tattoo.Update: Just got my second tattoo by Joe and I absolutely love it. The picture is of the second tattoo. Thank you so much!

Best place to get a piercing in Indianapolis. You can tell the staff here cares. Hygienic, gentle service that will leave you thinking, “huh.. that wasn’t so bad!”

The place is kept very clean, theres usually parking out front, all employees are fantastic and their prices are reasonable. They require deposits for tattoos but you deduct that from your final tattoo price. My mother-in-law and I got tattoos done on Friday (7/21/17) by Joe and he was amazing to work with! My tattoo was $150 and hers was $250 so we felt it was very reasonable. We will be coming back to see him very soon!

Both me & my sister came in the other day & had the pleasure of getting Paige for both of our piercings.She was absolutely amazing. So confident, professional, knowledgeable, sweet, & she knows exactly what shes doing. It was effortless.I will definitely be coming back asking for her next time I need anything done.

Great people! Paige did my first tattoo, the spirit koi fish from AtLA Tui and La (pictured). I’ve also gotten a couple piercings here before, one that has since closed up from 2017, and another that is still healing from last month!

I got two piercings done by Paige. I was nervous and not totally committed on the second piercing. Paige made the whole experience comfortable and eased all my nervous energy. She was amazing and I would recommend getting any piercings done by her. I will be coming back soon!

Went last night with a couple of friends to our piercing appointments. Paige did our piercings and she was phenomenal. The selection of rings to pick from was something I did not think existed in a shop, and Paige went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable the entire time. The process was smooth and nearly painless, and Paige took her time explaining about aftercare and healing. I didn’t catch the name of the woman working at the front but she was super patient with us, as well as warm and welcoming. I really liked that they keep the door locked, especially since there are so many bars nearby and we went on a Friday night. I would recommend this shop to any of my friends looking for somewhere to get pierced. I did my research and was willing to make the hour long drive and I’m glad I did! Thank you!!

Came in to switch out my septum ring, and Heather was awesome. There was a misunderstanding about what rings were available and the pricing, so I switched mine twice. Heather was gracious, friendly, and gentle with the process. She even helped repair my old ring that had gotten bent out of shape. I so appreciate the great service, as its not common nowadays.

So if you are looking to get a nose piercing or any sort of piercing GO HERE. Such a wonderful and welcoming environment everybody is so kind and willing to help find the perfect size jewelry. It’s very clean and meets sanitary standards. I had heather pierce my nose and she did a wonderful job. It was a very smooth and easy process considering I’m very scared of needles. She was quick and gentle which made the pain very quick and it was not that bad. For the first few days my nose felt sore as I expected but now it doesn’t hurt and it feels perfectly fine because she did such a great job with the piercing. In terms of pricing i think it was very affordable I paid 90 dollars without tip for a nose piercing. 10/10 would recommended this place.

Ive gotten 3 tattoos and 1 piercing done at Metamorphosis and have had a great experience every time. The pricing is fair, the artists are exceptional, and the atmosphere is artistic and relaxing. The quality of their work always exceeds expectations, and they always answer all my questions and educate me on exactly what I can expect in the healing process. I will absolutely be returning here for more tattoos and piercings in the near future, and highly recommend this place.

Kristen is freaking awesome! I have wanted a nose piercing for years and always chickened out. Finally got the balls to do it and I’m so glad I did. I didn’t even feel it! She was so quick and so encouraging. Love their Covid protocols. Makes me feel safe and they are very clean. And FYI since I saw this comment- They don’t lock the door to make sure you pay, they lock it to keep people from going in and out. It’s appointment only and only allow a certain amount of people in there at a time.

They are by appointment only so be sure to call ahead! I was able to schedule an appointment a week out from my initial call. Parking sucked but they are located on Broadripple Ave and I went at 1pm on a Saturday, so later on in the day or on a weekday would definitely be easier to park. The building itself is very clean and the people I interacted with were very cool. I started my appointment about 15 minutes after my scheduled time. My peircer was very sweet, walked me through everything very carefully and was super aware of personal comfort, especially since I was receiving a gential peircing. Once we got started the peircing itself was very fast and easy and the jewelry itself is very nice! I will be returning for more peircings in the future.

I came here a week ago to get 3 ear piercings. The store is very clean and the jewelry selection is amazing. The jewelry is a little expensive but is completely worth it. My piercer Heather did such a great job, and seems to really care about the people she is piercing. I will definitely be back.

I haven’t had any piercings in about 15 years and they were just basic lobes and a cartilage that I got with a piercing gun. I came here to get second holes (upper earlobes) done properly with a needle.Time: I came in around 8 pm on a Friday and it wasn’t busy. I was able to fill out the paperwork, pick out jewelry, and get the piercings done in less than 30 min.Staff: I was kindly greeted and they patiently waited as I looked for what jewelry I wanted and filling out the paperwork. Heather did my piercings. I was nervous but felt completely comfortable by her laid back and kind personality. She explained the process and let me know exactly what she was doing so I had no surprises. The piercings felt like a quick shot in my ear and have been slightly sore that evening, and pain free the next day. Heather was the best!!Cleanliness: this was my first experience in a place for tattoos and piercings. Everything was very clean. Each station I walked by was organized and clean. The room I got my piercings in was clean and Heather used two different needles to do my piercings and properly disposed of the needles.I would recommend anyone looking for a place to get piercing to come here.

I went in to get some ear piercings. The staff was very friendly and took the necessary sanitary precautions. Kristin is amazing! I was nervous about getting 4 piercings done at once, but she put me at ease. I actually laughed through each one. She explained what to expect during the prep, piercing, and cleaning processes. I cant wait to book another appointment. The whole process took less than 30 minutes. 5 star experience all the way.

Ive had nothing but good experiences here. All the staff are knowledgeable, experienced, and super people to talk to. Rating a tattoo establishment is tricky because its sort of like rating an artist. They all have their own style and if thats what youre into, theyll do their style on you! The piercers are all extremely professional and will all do a fantastic job. Jewelry is all high quality, somewhat small selection as a result, but scheduling an appointment to check it out offers no pressure from staff and really helpful answers to all your questions you might have.

Ive been to this shop twice. I didnt GET a piercing here, but they did do a removal for me for free. My experience with the piercer was a good one, but again, I didnt actually get my piercing here.As for my tattoo experience... I completely understand that with COVID they have stricter rules and stricter time slots. I emailed specifically asking for Paige because I liked the work I saw on her artist page. It took me 2 months to get in contact with her. Part of that was her email not working, but even after we switched to texting Id go a week without hearing anything and attempt to send another text.Finally got it scheduled. She was very patient with me and was willing to rework the design several times. Shes very good on paper. Legitimately love the design we ended up landing on. However once the tattoo healed, the lines were faded and the top part looked a little wavy (its a swan on the left side of my abdomen right above my hipbone, for reference). I tried for 3 weeks to reach out to her for a touch up. Not even to schedule right away (again, I know schedules can be tight), but I did want to be on the books so Id know WHEN my tattoo would be fixed.Eventually I emailed the general shop again saying that I was having a hard time getting ahold of her. They said shed get back to me ASAP. Its already been 5 days. I just went ahead and paid someone else to do the touch up and so far it looks way better.I try to be a patient person, especially working around their schedule and mine, but this just felt a little ridiculous.

You have to make an appointment to purchase jewelry! I understand the pandemic changed alot of businesses, but for those of us who have given them patronage for years I feel as if they threw away a large group of loyal customers to portray themselves as an elite tattoo parlor. Im a very busy person as a nurse I am always working but was turned away after the young lady came to the door unlocked it to ask if I had an appointment after a quick no she says we are appointment only. I proceeded to say I would like to buy some jewelry she then said again we are appointment only with no direction as to what or where to go to make the appointment she shut the door locked it and turned to walk away! I got my first of many piercings here 20+ years ago but unfortunately dont think I will be going back to them anymore. I guess Ill purchase online you may get things in bulk but usps isnt rude!

I have gotten all of my piercings besides my lobes done here and have bought all my jewelry from here. They are very professional piercers who know the proper techniques and everything is sterile. They have high quality jewelry for a fair price. I love this place and will always come here for piercings because I trust them and their products!

I went in to get my double tragus piercing done, the front desk was very nice the guy answered all my questions including showing me the jewelry, and yes you do need to make an appointment. Heather was my piercer, she was very nice, professional, the utensils were also cleaned and new, and she was very QUICK! I would come again for another :)

I went and got an ankle tattoo today! I LOVE it so much! Paul is awesome! He is very professional and patient! Highly recommend!!I would love to give 5 stars. However, the ladies at the front werent exactly kosher. I know that not everyone has kids at a tattoo shop but Eli wasnt bothering anyone. He was sitting watching my phone. One of the ladies at the front was extremely bothered by us being there and was short with me. I remained polite.I will go back to get more stuff done but please work on customer service! I was highly recommended to go to your shop!

Today was my third time getting pierced at Metamorphosis. First in 2013, then 2017, now 2021.Front of house and literally any employee you come into contact with are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.First two experiences were with Kristin for my eyebrow then a forward helix and helix. All three were perfectly done! Today I got my daith and another helix piercing by Paige. She carefully explained everything she was doing and checked in on me. She was so fun and friendly. I’m so incredibly happy with all of my experiences!Yes, jewelry can run pretty high but it’s quality product and to me the confidence of the quality items is worth the price when it comes to piercings.Will definitely be back and look forward to curating my ears! Loved this place. Got my septum pierced here about a week ago, and the entire experience was pleasant. The ladies up front are friendly and knowledgeable, the shop is extremely clean, and the piercer I worked with (Paige) was wonderful and so professional. You can really feel comfortable and welcome being in there, which I think is so important for a body mod place.Their piercings are walk-ins only, so be prepared to wait a little bit and make sure you have your ID. They are an 18+ studio exclusively!I filled out my forms & had about an hour wait, which was fine. I left and came back and waited maybe 5 minutes before getting called back.I even reached out a few days later with a question about the healing process and they promptly answered it and even invited me to stop by so they could look at it in person if I had any concerns.Would definitely recommend and go back in a heartbeat!

I had my first tattoo done at metamorphosis. The experience was wonderful, and I returned several weeks later for a touch up. Unfortunately, the touch up did not blend with the original work. There is considerable variation between line thickness between the first and second visit. I am hesitant to go to another shop to have it touched up, but my single line circle has transparent sections and chunky sections. The staff and space were wonderful, the work done was not what I was hoping for.It also was challenging to communicate with the shop. I contacted the shop about the work, the gave me contact information for Paige, the artist I worked with. It typically takes about 4-6 weeks to hear back about an appointment or question. I tried both email and phone, but the delay between questions and answers was substantial. I thought this pace was standard until I started working with other tattoo parlors.

I want to get more piercings just so i can go to this shop again! staff was friendly, professional, and well trained. shop was clean and well organized. they have really beautiful jewlery as well! kristin explained everything throughout the process. definitely come here for a piercing!!

I have been twice. Both were positive experiences. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The studio is clean, and has fun cat art. They require an appointment to come inside, as well as wearing face masks.

We traveled 2hrs. To always come back here! (5 times in three years) Between the professional quality of detail in customer service to jewelry selection. It’s hard to compare this establishment with other parlor stores. They have a calm unique experience with fine quality of top designs and “one of a kind” pieces. Plus their cleanliness, detail to sanitation, and professional grade to a hospital style sterilization makes it an easy pick over most establishments.We’ll be sure to return for again and again!We highly recommend for people either starting or adding to their own personal tattoos or piercings collection.

I had my industrial done here years ago and recently started getting ink work done. My artist is Rabbit and I absolutely love them! They listen and work with you to bring your vision to life. Theyre also extremely laid back and just a ball of fun!!Ive always had a pleasant time in this shop and Ill continue to support them!!

Very impressed with quality of service at Metamorphosis. Two girls got piercings, one first timer and one experienced with piercings. Both received a consultation and very precise placements of their piercings. Very happy with results. Not cheap, you must purchase the jewelry there, and it runs a minimum of $20 per piece, but worth it for quality of the job.

I got a simple tattoo from Paul. I didnt realize he would copy paste and TRY to trace the photos I sent for inspiration, so its not even a unique design. He didnt prep my leg properly, rushed through it and made a lot of mistakes. Tons of blowout. Didnt properly rinse my leg and caused the adhesive to cause me chemical burns from the wrapping. Way over charged. 0/10 would not recommend.

Went their to get a piercing done and Joe was extremely professional, and knowledgable. He made sure to explain every step that was going to happen and how to care after. the place is clean and the rest of the staff seem knowledgeable and very nice. I would definitely recommend to ANYONE.

Earlier this year in January before the shut down I worked with a piercing artist named Paige. She was able to do my basic lobe piercings quickly and efficiently. Fast forward to today, life happened and my holes healed over so I contacted them and they were able to schedule me to get my ears re-pierced. I again worked with Paige. At the same time she also did the second lobe piercings. She greeted me like a friend and again made me feel comfortable through the whole process. I highly recommend Metamorphosis for all your piercings needs.

I really enjoyed the great customer service they have! Everyone is quick, friendly, and you can tell this place is worth it because whew, it was crowded! I came to get my nose re-pierced and will say Paige did a wonderful job! She was kind and quick! I’ll definitely be back for more as well as referring Metamorphosis to friends and family!

I got my triples here about a year ago and it was a positive experience. This time I went in to get a new set of earrings and they wear prompt, professional, and the new studs are just what I wanted!

I recently got my septum and nipples pierced by Heather Chen, and the whole experience was above and beyond. She was really nice, professional and put me at ease by making it very casual. She really knew what she was doing which made the experience almost painless. I strongly recommend Heather, she is amazing and really passionate about her work. In general Metamorphosis has an awesome selection of jewelry too, which I cant wait to look over more once my piercings are healed.

Fantastic service and beautiful jewelry. I live out of state and only came back here to get new jewelry because I think they have the best options and the best customer service. Shelby is absolutely an angel sent from customer service piercing heaven (she works the front desk and handles everyonnneee that walks through the door) she was extremely patient when I asked her 10,000 questions about jewelry and asked to re-look at jewelry even when I had one picked out and she is able to multitask being friendly, setting appointments, and general amazing customer service, this place is lucky to have her. Paige was my actual piercer and she too was amazing! I was getting my daith (piercing not done at this establishment) taken out since it wasn’t healing and I had so many issues with it. I had it taken out and cried because it was so painful, she was so kind and understanding. That same appointment I had a faux rook piercing and it went amazing, pain free and with beautiful jewelry. She double checked to make sure I wanted the piercing (after my cry episode) and was just a great person to chat with. I also changed out my tragus jewelry for a flat hammered disk, it’s absolutely beautiful. I don’t make it out from New Mexico to Indiana often but safe to say this will be the only place I go when I get a piercing! Thank you for the great experience!

I came here because my wife wanted to get her nose pierced. It was Saturday night broad ripple was packed as was this place. It took only 30 minutes from telling what we wanted to needle to nose. The woman who pierced our nose was extraordinarily knowledgeable professional and cleanly. I would highly recommend your next piercings to be done here.

Metamorphosis is incredible. Their atmosphere is relaxing, everyone is friendly and helpful, they are going above and beyond for Covid protection, and their prices are great. 4 piercings later, Im already planning when to go back for more. They also have prompt and friendly email communication if you cant call or make it in to ask questions. I cannot recommend then enough.

Heather is by far the best piercer that I have ever had the pleasure of being pierced by! I travel from East TN every year to get piercings by her! I have had almost 30 piercings and several piercers and she makes every experience amazing! The shop has by far the most classy and world jewlery as well!

I got my first tattoo done here about two years ago - it was all color without black outline, blues and greens with a little yellow. Trevor did an amazing job. He came up with a beautiful design that was better than I had even imagined for the tattoo. It healed perfectly and the color has stayed really pigmented and hasn’t faded or bled through at all over the past two years. I’m super happy with it and will probably go back to him in the future even though I’ve moved away from the area. Staff is friendly and helpful, shop is very clean.

Metamorphosis is the only place I trust to do any of my piercings. Heather is INCREDIBLE and remembers me every time. I’ve gotten multiple cartilage piercings, my daith, a few nose piercings, and my industrial done here. Exceptional service every time. I currently live out of state and if I want a new piercing I wait until I’m in town. The prices are a bit steep for the jewelry, so I usually just get the most basic pieces but other than that, I would definitely recommend!

I got my nostril piercing at Metamorphosis back in September of 2018. I had my nose pierced before this but wanted to get it repierced. The first time I had it pierced, I had a terrible experience, so I was very nervous to get it pierced again. However, Heather was very quick, accurate, and it was virtually painless! She was very friendly and easy to talk to during the whole thing as well. After it was done, she gave great detailed aftercare instructions and was very helpful in answering my questions. 8 months later I still have my piercing and have had zero problems with it - and a lot of that is thanks to Heather! I highly recommend Metamorphosis for all your piercing needs!

Wonderful environment and incredibly helpful staff. I can not, and will not, attest to their tattoo abilities because I have only had piercings done here. But the piercers are professional, easy to talk to, and always willing to give advice even after you have left the shop. Heather, the piercer there, is great and the front desk staff is very friendly. I’m a big chicken when it comes to piercings and I was so scared. I have a deviated septum and I wanted it pierced and heather was great about piercing it correctly and finding my sweet spot. She was amazing!

I went in for a nose piercing and my piercer (I forgot her name but it started with an “h”) was quick, clean, friendly, and informative. I barely felt the needle and there was no swelling or pain afterward, not sure how she did it, but it’s definitely the best piercing I’ve ever gotten!

I have been here twice as just a regular customer, not a client getting a piercing or tattoo. Both times I was looking for body jewelry and I had heard good things about the shop and quality of the jewelry, so I wanted to shop. And BOTH times I had the feeling that the people working the front did not want me there and that I was a burden on them. As someone with social anxiety it was really troubling and I felt like I did something wrong just by coming in to buy. I saw a really big difference in how the employees treated piercing/tattoo clients vs. people shopping or inquiring about services. The employees talking to clients were SO nice. But its just not the case with the people at the front desk. I posted on my facebook because I was surprised such a highly regarded shop could make me feel so unwelcome. Surprisingly SEVERAL of my friends who have been to Metamorphosis agreed that every time they went in the front desk people were very rude and annoyed with their presence. I dont like to cause trouble but I feel like yall need to know that youre turning away future clients by treating them this way.

Trevor was wonderful, he did 3 tattoos for my friends and I in about 2 hours. He did an excellent job on all of our tattoos and made us feel very comfortable. The facility was clean and welcoming. It was a little on the pricey side for what we got done, but I would say it was worth it.

Ive got my lip done, nipples,tongue,Christina, hood, & navel. I felt discomfort w 2 of them & they were more than willing 2 up the size of my barbell & navel w no extra charge.Im not being paid nor do I personally know the owner & staff here. I’ve come here several times over the years for both tattoos and piercings. I’ve never been extremely blown away by the services, but I figured they are more expensive because they’re offering higher quality. I’ve officially reached my breaking point. Every time I come in the people working are rude and dismissive. I had an especially bad experience with Heather today after coming in to ask for help with a helix piercing I got that wasn’t healing well. She wouldn’t even let me get a sentence out without interrupting me and telling me everything I was doing wrong. While I was seeking advice, there is a more polite way to give it, and I wish she would have let me explain my specific situation before interjecting. Literally before I was able to ask a single question she rudely said “I don’t know what you want from me.” Uh yeah no duh, you haven’t let me get out a full sentence yet. I can’t believe how rude these people are. They will not be getting any more business from me. I promise you can find better services at better prices somewhere else.

Didnt personally get anything done, but went with a friend to get a piercing. Very professional and did a very great job. My friend was pleased with her new piercing & I wouldnt hesitate to get one myself! Highly recommend!

I went for a piercing and the girl had an attitude and rolled her eyes when I had questions. I also recently figured out why my piercing has been hurting so much even though I have been cleaning it twice a day for months.. She never Pierced my ear through properly!! it only went halfway in! She didn’t even check it. My ear has been blue and swollen for weeks.

I cannot stress enough how great this shop is. A group of 4 of us are in town from Boston and got tats by Paige and Jeff. They did an AMAZING job. They are so talented, other shops do not compare. Paige is the sweetest person and such a great artist. The only sad part is the fact that I live so far away and cant come back for all my future pieces.

I got my neck tattoo here. I refuse to go anywhere else. Im just sad that their not open all the time. You have to make an appointment online or call. It s worth it. Their store is very clean 👌.

My place of choice for ear stretching. However, its not wheelchair accessible and its a little pricey. The piercings are great and the staff really know what theyre doing. For tattoos though, if youre looking in Broad Ripple Id recommend Untitled Ink. Significantly cheaper and the tattoos are the same great quality.

Kristin and her co-workers were very nice and extremely patient! Appointments are required to enter the shop, as well as proof of vaccination. Well I was late getting there, then I couldnt find my vaxx card! Kristin assured me it was fine, and that they were there until 5pm. Just let them know if I would be back that day.Low-and-behold, I walked back to the lot behind Cholitas, and found the pic I had snapped of my vaxx card. Walked back to the store, and they were just a sweet and gracious.Kristin showed me what was available in the material I wanted, and also showed me hot to remove my piercing (I had tried previously but was afraid my heavy hands would break the ring.This is my second time coming to the store to purchase and switch out jewelry. I got a tiny tattoo here for the first time and it was perfect. The staff were friendly and professional. This is my 4th tattoo and so I knew what I needed to see in order to be comfortable with the staff and I saw it! Paul was my artist and did a great job making me comfortable and giving me what I asked for.

Just finished my first tattoo with this shop, I have 3 larger pieces total. I couldn’t be happier, I had a beautiful shoulder piece of peonies by Joe. It’s perfect. I would recommend anyone to this studio if they want a serious piece of art you can be proud to show off!

Too expensive and they locked me into the place to make sure I couldn’t leave before paying. Definitely rubs me the wrong way considering that I’m Black. Also, my piercer had switched the jewelry that I had wanted without my consent and did not inform me, but the cashier. Would not recommend to any newcomer to piercings, and I hope to save any other unfortunate souls for going here.

I’ve gotten 5 piercings (nostril, septum, surface tragus, tragus, and conch) here since moving to Broad Ripple a year ago. I will never go anywhere else. The piercers are always so kind and knowledgeable. I also walked in for all 5 and never waited longer than an hour (that was an especially busy day). 100% would recommend for any piercing!!

I got my tragus double pierced by Paige last august and it was super fast and not very painful in my opinion. A lot less painful than my single tragus on my other ear I got at another place. She was great and super professional and I loved all her piercings and tattoos she had herself. I went in last month to get my Daith pierced and same experience with I believe her name was Heather. I had lost my jewelry for my single tragus and got shorter posts for my healed double tragus. They were great at sizing my ears and I will definitely be coming back shortly! Everyone here is so lovely and welcoming.

I went to Megan to get this done. She is one of the most gentle tattoo artists Ive ever been too. And Ive been to several different artists from all over, over the years. She was attentive and did a fantastic job incorporating my idea into a design. Im very happy with it. I cant say much about the other artists however.

The tattoo was simple and Paul made it seem like I was an inconvenience the entire time. I had to make an appointment at another tattoo place to touch it up because for someone who has been working at Metamorphis since 2009, was horrible at his job! I had to have him correct it 2 times because he couldn’t follow a simple cross stencil????They definitely pick and choose who they want to be professional with and who they want to work on.Highly recommend going to another tattoo shop.

The tattoo artists were incredibly condescending, belittling, and unhelpful in collaborating on my tattoo design. The first artist I spoke with that was highly recommended for a watercolor tattoo refused to work with me.After reaching common ground with the second artist I spoke with, putting down a deposit, and emailing full details to him more than a week and a half prior to my appointment, I did not hear from him until the day before my appointment. He said he did not have a copy of my design, even though I left a physical copy with him and included it in the email sent weeks before.When I called to reschedule the appointment to ensure that the design for my permanent tattoo that I have given careful consideration for more than 15 years would be absolutely perfect, I was told that I could not reschedule without losing my deposit.As a former long-time customer of this establishment, I have never been treated so poorly, here or elsewhere. If you are considering a tattoo here, ensure that the artists are willing to give you the time of day before making a deposit or possibly permanently screwing up your design.

A friend recommended Paul and she was right, hes fantastic. I gave him some basic ideas and he created a beautiful tattoo. He and the rest of the staff are very friendly/welcoming, something that Ive found lacking in other shops.

I went in today to get my nose re-pierced. It had only been out for half a day, but I thought for sure it was closed up. They were so kind and instead of charging me to pierce it again, they just re-threaded it and opened the whole that had already been there and didnt even charge me for it. I will definitely be back!!!!

I had 3 tattoos, each done by a different artist/shop. I was never really happy with my third one (just poorly done overall). I didnt want to go back to the jerk that botched my last tattoo so I decided to look somewhere else. A friend of mine recommended Matt Carrel. When I asked around a number of other people I knew either had work done by him or knew someone who did (and all had good things to say). So, I went into the shop and spoke with Matt to see what could be done to fix it. Using the old (and poorly done) art, he was able add to it and cover some spots up to make something new that I really like.I would highly recommend Matt. He seemed a nice guy, and I guess he has been doing tattoo design for over 15 years! Anyway, it was all very professional and clean/hygienic. If I ever chose to get another tattoo, I am most certainly going back to Matt.Thanks Matt for saving my skin (literally)!

Theyre okay. Although they can make it look pretty, they cant tattoo. My tat was supposed to be a solid black piece, but after a few years I can see different parts of my tattoo lose color because they scarred it. Instead of a black tattoo I call it a patchy tattoo... they have a hard time with straight lines and I know its not me cuz they said I was a rock during my session. You should at least get what you pay for

I bought my sister a gift certificate for a tattoo for her birthday. She emailed for times and availability and pricing for a 6 inch tat on the lower leg. just a plan black tree. The cost was incredibly over the girt certificate and way over what other parlors was offering. Asked for a refund for the certificate and was told no refunds on gift certificates, to regift it...seriously, regift a gift. I have looked at there shipping and returns privacy policies and general terms and conditions on the web site and see no where that it is forewarned that gift certificates are a non refundable item. Final thought...over priced and not very good business practices.

While the woman who pierced me knew exactly what she was doing (and I was relieved to see the aftercare instructions were solid despite the experience - hence the extra star), her and the rest of the gals looked like they wanted to be anywhere else but their shop. Their attitude was very much like they thought you were a waste of time, it left such a bad taste in my mouth. Only the woman with the blue hair was any sort of nice.When did Broad Ripple become infested with people who were so prejudiced against the body mod community?? They should be fostering the love of the practice, not pushing people away. Those ladies should be embarrassed at how unprofessional they acted. I will be cautioning people away from here.

Went in to have a cover up tattoo. Referred me to a plastic surgeon to get it lightened. Did some sketches on the iPad. Looked like it would be relatively smaller in size. Offered to pay to have designs done but they said Id have to make an appt and pay a deposit which I did. The day of appt the design was huge over a foot and wasnt what I expected. The artist got very upset when I told him it was way to big and I needed to rethink it. He scheduled me for 3 hours and said he was now outta $450. Sorry man its my body. Should have not scheduled me for 3 hours. Will never go back or recommend this place. Much better places in town.

I had a tattoo scheduled a month prior and the artist Trevor did not make any attempt to draw what I had in mind for altering the design I originally showed for my tattoo.When I showed up and he showed me the stencil, I corrected him on this to be told by him that I should’ve put these things in the email if I wanted certain things done. Yet I had explained it in the email... and he did not alterations with over 2 weeks to prepare for my appointment. I recommend, if you are wanting a tattoo, Paul at Metamorphosis is awesome. This time I had a dragon put on my right bicep and Paul did an exceptional job on the dragon. Thank you .. will be back for the tattoo for my back!

I love Metamorphosis and their staff! I got my tragus pierced by Paige and double helix by Heather. Both are very nice, professional and knowledgeable in their craft.

On December 26, 2014, I went into the Metamorphosis to have my ears pierced. This new piercing would be my 3rd hole above my second hole. I explained to the lady at the front desk that I required 14k gold stud earrings in go into the new piercings. She proceeded to show me the 14k jewelry that she had. I was told that the gold ball stud 3mm earrings I selected would be $70. I agreed to the priced and waited to be called to the back to have my ears pierced. I was called to the back by Kirstin Otter, who is also the manager at Metamorphosis. Ms. Otter pierced my ears, and led me to the check out. Ms. Otter stated that I owed $174. I was very confused because I was told $25 for the first piercing and $10 for the second plus $70 for the jewelry. That would have made the total $105. I asked Ms. Otter how she came to the price of $174. She told me that the earrings that I had selected were $70 a piece! I was in total shock. The lady who helped my pick out the jewelry never said I would be paying for each earring. I paid the money and left. On February 3, 2015, I went to another piercing shop to have the hole in my ear lobe (2nd) piercing corrected. I explain to the man that I required 14k gold. In order to correct my 2nd hold piercing he needed to remove the other piercings out of my ear. When he removed the 3rd piercing jewelry that I had received form Metamorphosis, he told me that it was not 14k gold. He explain to me that all 14k gold jewelry is stamped. I couldnt believe what I was hearing. I had paid $140 for the jewelry I received from Metamorphosis. The man went to the back and brought out this huge magnifying glass. He showed me how my jewelry in my first and second hold were 14k, but the jewelry from Metamorphosis was not. After I left the piercing shop I went to varies jewelry stores and inquired about the jewelry I received from Metamorphosis. I was told by each jeweler that that jewelry in my 3rd hole was not 14k gold. On February 4, 2015 I went into Metamorphosis and spoke with Ms. Otter. I explain to her that I required 14k in my 3rd ear lobe piercing and that the jewelry that she installed was not. I told her that my 3rd ear lobe piercing were still bleeding and pussing and not healing properly because of the jewelry she installed. Come to find out, she told me that they dont sell 14k gold post jewelry. But she told me the ball on my stud earrings were 14k gold. I told her I required that the posted needed to be 14k gold, and for $70 a earring the whole entire earring should have been 14k gold. On December 26, 2014, I was never told that they didnt sell 14k gold posted, nor did they say only the ball on the stud earring was the only gold part of the earring. I asked Ms. Otter is she was able to assist me in anyway, and she said no.

Everyone is always super friendly and helpful when we stop in and dont mind answering all our questions. ;-) The vibe is welcoming. You are acknowledged when you walk in, even when they are busy. They have a huge jewelry selection. Love!

I got a tattoo here but the lines looked really crooked and makes the whole piece look bad and now I have to get it covered. the artists other work looked like it had really nice lines but mine look like it was done in the back of a 4x4 off road.

I had a tattoo done there with Joe and he was super rude and they didnt make a design that i wanted even after asking if they got all the photos but they only went off one photo not the other I sent. Kept asking to make the tattoo small and Joe wouldnt make it smaller and I showed him the picture of the tattoo size I wanted and he kept disagreeing with me that whats in the picture is the same size as what he has but it wasnt. Worst experience and I didnt get what I wanted, i shouldve just left the place.

Joe Kelley has done all of my work following my first skinfake tattoo I obtained on my 18th birthday, and I couldnt be more pleased with his tattooing. Ive received numerous compliments on the Salvador Dali tattoo he executed flawlessly on my entire ribcage/side. Any future ink I acquire will be obtained by a needle wielded by his hands alone.

This has bothered me for months, so Im posting ..My brothers and I came here to get matching tattoos. My oldest brother is terminally ill and has lost all muscle control. This was explained while making the appointment. My brothers and I wanted a lasting memory, what we got was a rude, impatient tattoo artist that had overbooked and constantly berated my brother that can no longer move his arms, he constantly stated he couldnt work under these conditions if he couldnt hold his arm a certain way and that he was behind. I was horrified and had I not already gone....would of lost. My brother has lost his dignity and life and this guy ruined a moment we had to create a wonderful memory. Now we have half assed tattoos and a memory of how this guy embarrassed my dieing brother over his inability to move his arm. May you you never get ALS and need others to show kindness. The experience of the tattoo is a memory....thanks for ours....you suck!

Too expensive, and the guy didnt do a very good job of matching the font i gave him for a tattoo. ive also been here with a friend who was getting a relatively simple piercing, and they butchered it, and had to redo it. overrated place...

Didnt even get pierced there, but was worried about how it was healing, went in and got great advice. Will definitely be going there for my next tattoo
