I really enjoyed the experience: so clean, friendly staff, music was not too loud, great selection.A hip boutique that feels like a combination of a barbershop and a doctors office. Really comforting from a cleanliness and competence perspective.I would recommend this to anyone looking for quick, easy, fun piercing services.Context: came in with my fiance to get a birthday present. They had something she liked and we were out before I knew it. The staff seemed to genuinely enjoy each other and what they do, which I really enjoy.Well be back for sure!

My daughter and I asked at a local coffee shop for a recommendation on a piercing shop. So glad she mentioned Rowan. Very welcoming as soon as we walked in, professional and knowledgeable staff. They were patient and kind. We laughed throughout the piercings. My daughter and I both got helix piercings. Thanks Krystan and Rowan team for great piercings and a great experience.

I took my 17 month old here to get her ears pierced. My daughter didn’t want her ears cleaned or touched at first. Kaitlin remained so patient, calm, and incredibly kind. I definitely recommend asking for Kaitlin if you have smaller children and want an amazing experience. The store was also very clean and all employees were friendly and professional. 10/10!!!

My nurse/piercer was Ellen, she was fantastic. She was very personable and talked me through the whole process. Ironically enough, I am afraid of needles, but her calm manner and happy attitude made me feel comfortable and the process was great. I got 2 lobe piercings and a helix all in one setting. Highly recommend, and it is well worth the price!!

Everyone was super kind and helpful to get my daughters first piercing for her very first birthday. The environment was clean and pleasant so well definitely be back in the future. I absolutely suggest stopping in. On a plus all the workers were nurses so it was a great experience all around.

This place is amazing! I went in for my daughter and myself to get our ears pierced. When we got there we were greeted by Alex (the manager) and he talked me through the whole process and what they offer. You can do either a piercing gun or a needle piercing. While we were talking my daughter (3) was nervous and decided against getting her ears pierced. She and her brother (5) were able to sit in a nice area and do coloring. I was pierced by Kaitlin. She was wonderful. She again walked me through the process and showed me everything. She took a good ten minutes making sure my piercing marks were even before starting. The over all experience was wonderful. Also as a mother I loved that they were kind and catering to my children even though they didnt get any piercing. The price is a bit more than some places but you are also in a very clean environment, certified piercing nurses, quality material, and after care. I would highly recommend them for piercing or purchasing jewelry.

Im giving this business high marks for their friendliness and professionalism while servicing my mom who was having her ears pierced. The place was clean, the staff was very friendly and they are great at creating an environment that feels safe and comfortable.I do however, think there are some things you should be aware of going in.I dont have first-hand experience with ear piercing at Claire or other businesses, but when I told my wife how much I paid for my moms ear piercing, studs and cleaning solution she was shocked. I appreciate that these are trained nurses, but ear piercing doesnt require a trained nurse. This felt a bit like how we used to pay 50 cents for coffee and Starbucks convinced us we should be paying them $6 instead. It is difficult for me to see the value-add that Rowan is offering to justify their prices. That being said, it was up to me to find out how much it would cost beforehand, and I didnt, so Im not complaining about what I paid. Still, you should know that you are probably paying quite a lot more than you absolutely must if you just want to get some studs and have your ears pierced.Secondly, I was asked for a tip at the register. Truthfully, this was just the staff member presenting me with a tablet that had you select pre-fixed amounts or no tip. I did choose to tip and that was entirely my own choice, but I have to say that I feel that having to endure the social pressure to either refuse to tip or pay $19.50 in tips (15% of our service cost) for a service that lasted less than five minutes and already cost a high amount seems inappropriate. Given what they are charging I would hope they are paying their staff enough that they dont require tips to earn a fair wage for their work.Finally, I saw a sign by the register that offered gifts like a tote bag or other goodies if you leave a 5-star review on Google. This defeats the entire purpose of what a review is for and feels wrong. It also forces me to question the credibility of many of their reviews. Are they ranking them based on the gift or for the service they got? Who can tell?I want to be clear I feel they did give my mom 5-star service during our visit. I have no complaints about their staff or the service itself. But I cant offer a five-star review based on these other factors. If you want a clean, professional experience getting your ears pierced, you will certainly get it here. Just know what you are getting into beforehand.

We took one of my daughters here over a year ago for her 8th birthday. Right off the bat, we didn’t get the earrings that the website listed as options for this age range. We were instead directed to more expensive earrings, and I didn’t realize the cost posted was per earring so I got a lovely surprise at the register.Second issue was that I had wrongly assumed that having a nurse do the piercing meant it would be a needle piercing, but she pulled out disposable piercing g*ns. The nurse reassured me that the kind they use are fine. My daughter was already sat in the chair and excited so we remained committed since it was her special day. I really wish I would’ve backed out at this point and gone somewhere else but it was getting late in the day.After the piercing day came the never-ending healing process. These expensive earrings were garbage metal. They caused my daughter a horrible allergic reaction and would not heal for months. I finally swapped out the earrings with different piercing earrings made of better quality metal, and they sort of started to heal. By that I mean that the allergic reaction stopped, but so much tissue damage was done at this point.She continued to be bothered by the piercings and finally took them out for good. She still gets inflammation and infection where the holes are at, like after visiting a water park or even just being in the sun. I’m absolutely baffled. This was the worst piercing experience we’ve ever had as a family. I mean, Claire’s has been better (I took much older children of mine many years ago before I knew better).So over a year later, I’m still upset that I spent so much for junk jewelry, that g*ns were used instead of needles, and that my child has suffered needlessly and is too scared to get them redone elsewhere, if she even CAN get them redone.Save yourself a headache and go to a reputable tattoo parlor where they’ll use needles, have better jewelry metal options, and the costs aren’t astronomical.If I can find any of the photos that I had taken of her ears, I’ll edit this and try to add them, but it’s been so long that I may have deleted them and forgot. I will look.

As a girly girl traditional tattoo/piercing shops can be a bit intimidating. But Rowan was nothing like that! It was a super friendly environment and all of the people working there were very patient and welcoming! I got my first piercing since I was super young so I was a bit nervous and they definitely helped calm my nerves by explaining the process to me and answering all my questions. The jewelry selection and quality was nice and I got the piercing pillow for healing. Would definitely recommend for girls of any age wanting to get something new!

I took my 9 year old daughter to get her ears pierced and it was a wonderful experience. The nurse could tell she was very anxious so they offered to have 2 nurses pierce her ears simultaneously. The earrings look great! Highly recommend!!

Nurse kaitlin did so amazing with my 4 year old and I. Worth every penny. We both got our lobes pierced and will be back for any future piercings.

I had a wonderful experience getting my ears double pierced at Rowan! My lady was incredibly kind and patient with me, she made sure to get the perfect spot before she did my piercing. I was able to walk right in and everything took about 20 minutes. I will definitely be going back.

I had recently booked a private party with Rowan for my sorority and it was very well put together. I had multiple girls tell me how their piercings haven’t bothered them as much as their past piercings have, done by other piercers. They have also asked me to do the same event again in the fall because of how welcoming Rowan made us feel with the snacks, refreshments, and the ongoing positivity and kindness the staff gave to us! I know girls from my sorority, me included, will be going back for our next piercing! I definitely recommend!

Happy happy to have been there putting my 6 month old little princesss first earrings…. the place is very nice and cozy…. The boy who attends for the first time along with the nurses are super friendly and charismatic…. She was scared but it was a very beautiful experience, my daughter only cried for 1 minute and then I put her in front of the mirror and she smiled as if accepting that she is more beautiful than she already is with her first earrings…. You must visit this place, so professional and hygienic that you will not regret it.

I had an absolutely fantastic time getting my lobes pierced by Kaitlin! I must confess that I felt a mixture of nervousness and excitement before I arrived, but after warmly welcoming me in, Kaitlin did an excellent job of explaining the procedure and assisting me in finding the right studs to match my energy. Kaitlin gently explained each step of the process and counted down (at my request) before each piercing. Both were completely painless! I am glad to report I have had no discomfort or irritation after. I would eagerly and highly recommend Kaitlin to anyone interested in getting a first piercing or having another done!

I brought my 5-year-old daughter here to get her ears pierced. The piercing gun malfunctioned and did not pierce her ears fully the first time. They had to do it again, so obviously, my daughter was traumatized twice. The staff handled it well and we got our piercing and a pair of earrings for free. However, I’m extremely disappointed in Rowan because they’re supposed to be “nurses”. I could’ve gone to Claire’s and had teenagers pierce her ears for this experience. Two stars because they handled it professionally and with care, but I hated this experience for my daughter.

I just went in today to get my flat pierced:) I was able to pick out any jewelry of my choice, all of it was absolutely adorable & as somebody who can’t wear most ear jewelry I really appreciate that it was 14k gold! I know that my ears are definitely going to be much happier lol. I didn’t have very flat “flats” my anatomy could have been better but they worked with me & were able to find a perfect spot! They were also extremely reassuring & kind about walking me through the whole process, I would Recommend everybody give rowen a try! It’s totally worth it,I’ll definitely be coming back

Actually, our piercing was great! the nurse knew what she was doing, and was very informative. I have now been there three times, and all three are the same, IT DOES NOT MATTER that you have an appointment, they work on a first come, first serve basis, which is to say that anyone who walks in may get in before your appointment. Its frustrating and shows how little they value their appointment system, they literally apologize every time but do the same thing EVERY TIME. This is a management, not talent, issue.

We were able to walk in and get an excellent consultation and piercing within 30 minutes. I needed to have my current piercings assessed as to whether they needed tapered or re-pierced. The process was pretty painless and they went above and beyond with explaining what to expect and what my options were. They gave me suggestions for what I could do / change. Horrible experience. Strongly suggest going anywhere else. I called ahead to find out if we needed an appointment, they said we did not, we showed up and they wouldnt fit us in. Emily was extremely unhelpful and didnt care that multiple people had made a 30 minute drive to specifically come here. No apology, nothing. Only one person even working so nobody shopping for earrings was receiving help either.

My earlobes were pierced at Rowan using a device they referred to as a hand-pressurized device, but lets call it what it is - a piercing gun. Unfortunately, Ive experienced more than eight earlobe infections within four months due to this piercing method.They claimed that my earlobes would be fully healed in three weeks if I used their ear cleaning solution which is absurd. Ear lobes can take MONTHS to heal.Dont be misled by their claim that nurses who pierce are safer than those at piercing studios. I deeply regret not choosing a piercing studio where they use a needle, a much superior method compared to the outdated piercing gun.Avoid this place at all costs. If possible, I would rate this place a zero.

I had my ears pierced as a child and was a bit nervous about how a previous piercing could impact healing. Everyone on the team was very helpful in addressing my concerns and making me comfortable. Such a quick and easy process and - I love that they were focused on after care. They had great selection of hypoallergenic studs and I’m so pleased with my cute little pearls!

On Thursday I scheduled a needle piercing for the upcoming Saturday. I received multiple confirmation emails & texts about the appointment. On Saturday I got a call at 2pm that the needle piercer was leaving and wouldn’t be working during my 5pm appointment. The woman who called then told me that she was the needle piercer & she was leaving right that minute. She begrudgingly offered to reschedule for the next day. Horrible customer service in general. Scheduled an appointment a week ago for this morning at 10am. I received 3 reminders of my daughters appt. Arrived this morning at 9:52 and waited for it to open. We waited until 10:15 and nobody came to open the store. My daughter is extremely disappointed! Shes been waiting a week for her first birthday gift. Guess I will be looking elsewhere and hoping to get an appointment today for her.

I went with my mom and daughter two weeks ago and piercing experience was fine - no problems there. The problem is with the jewelry.I paid $100 for the snake earring and it has fallen two times. After the first time I was fortunately able to find it, clean it, and put it back in, but I couldn’t find it the second time I also got the $100 beaded crawler earring and the same thing happened: it fell out and I can’t find it. $200 in jewelry down the drain.The jewelry is the cheap stuff you can buy on Amazon and Temu for under $10 and Rowan has no business selling it for $100 a piece. I’m so angry and even though the actual piercing experience was fine, I wouldnt recommend Rowan to anyone.

Rowan is the best place ever! They are very sanitary and so sweet. They made sure I was happy with my placement before piercing and walked me through everything even though I have done it before! Definitely recommend!

Great experience, but prepare to spend $$$ if you’re wanting a piercing. The very cheapest option will end up being at least $170 and that’s not including the cleaner- cut that in half if you’re only doing 1 ear. You also have to go back in 30 days later and pay more for a shorter post ($25 per ear but that may just be for the needle piercing I’m not sure). Everything listed on the website is per ear FYI. Clean and cute store but VERY expensive. You are going to get a very clean and professional experience as the staff are all nurses. They also have a nurse hotline in case you have any trouble after the piercing which is nice. The piercings are all gold so you will end up with a high quality earring.
