Divine Tattoo Parlor

It was my first time getting a tattoo done with Divine last night and it was a really good experience. Its a relaxing atmosphere and the customer service was great. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. Luna was my artist and he did an amazing job with everything from design, technique, and execution of the tat. No complaints. I was also very comfortable while the tattoo was being done and it was easy to relax. I will definitely be recommending Divine and I plan on getting future work done for sure!!

Got a tattoo by Yunior and I love it! He doesn’t speak very much English but I wasn’t concerned. We used a translator app and he nailed what I was looking for. I live out of state but I would definitely come back and get another tattoo from him!

I did not get my initial piercing here. However, long story short, I accidentally changed my septum ring to one that was too small and couldn’t remove it. Jesse and Jeremy helped me get it out and a proper size back in, which wasn’t the easiest feat. I am so thankful for their kindness and professionalism. They were very knowledgeable regarding piercings.

I went in to get my cartilage pierced like 10 days ago, the process was so quick & painless!! I felt absolutely nothing but pressure which amazes me because my lobes hurt more than that. Everybody in the shop was super nice, and It felt very welcoming. My piercing did end up getting infected sadly, & I had to get it taken out with some antibiotics which sucks but I’d still go back to them for future piercings. 10/10 recommend them!

We drove 5.5 hours from MN for my sons birthday. I did quite a bit of research online and found this place had more 5 star reviews than any other. The shop was immaculately clean, everyone was beyond friendly and knowledgeable. This was such a great experience for my son and for us. Jesse was very professional and his work was incredible. He obviously takes great pride in his work and it was so worth the drive. We will be back!!

Joe or JB was my artist. He did an amazing job. I have many many tattoos.....and Im VERY picky. Not only did I get exactly what I asked for, it was one of the least painful pieces Ive ever received. I highly recommend.

Only complaint would be time spent there getting it all done. Other than that, my daughter had an outline and shading done on a previous tattoo, then a new tattoo done on her thigh, by Vlad, who couldn’t have been more patient and personable. Really good dude! She also had a nose piercing done prior to the ink work. So overall, a very positive experience. Thanks! You earned 5 stars and I would recommend Divine 👍🏼

My daughters friend is getting a tattoo. This place looks very clean the people are very helpful and very nice. If you are in Kansas City you should come here they open at 12 and close at 8.

Great place. Did a walk in, simply shared the picture and got the tattoo. This was my first time getting a tattoo it turned out great. Definitely would recommend this place and I’ll be coming back.

I got my first tattoo here, a full sleeve with a total of 13 hours. It was an amazing environment and my artist Jeremy did an outstanding job. Patrons and artists were all very warm and fun to be around. Excellent people and beautiful work.

My husband and I are from out of town and have been wanting to get these tattoos done for years..! We called Divine, told them what we wanted to do, they said they take walk-ins, so we went! Jesse greeted us and him and all the other artists were super cool - you could tell they cared about us. We each got a tattoo and I had another small tattoo fixed real quick. Got my first tattoo at 51 and am hooked! Artist Brooke Daniel did a FANTASTIC job! Truly talented! Pain was very tolerable after some numbing cream...but Brooke will require a patch test for allergies before tattooing She now has a client for life!

Did a walk in earlier today to get my bellybutton repierced and was in and out under 20 minutes and only cost $60!!! Definitely worth it and the atmosphere is literally so relaxed and chill. Will definitely be going back 🥰

I called on May 15, 23 to make an appointment for 6 on July 7. We were referred by person A who had been a customer of Brooke & wanted to use her again. I spoke to Brandon & I specifically asked for one of the appointments to be with Brooke, he said that would be fine. Brandon asked that I send $200 via cash app to hold the spot. I wasn’t thrilled with this, but went ahead with it anyway. I got off the phone with Brandon, who also didn’t ask for ANY information about what we wanted.The day before our tattoos I reached out to make sure we were still down at the agreed-upon time. The man I spoke to said Brandon wasn’t in but he’s sure we’re on the schedule & there will be 3 other artists that can help if we need it. This left me with another uneasy feeling, but I ignored my gut.The next day we walked into the tattoo studio & were met by Brandon & Stephen who said they would be doing our tattoos & asked what we wanted. Person A asked about Brooke & it was then that we found out she was unavailable.The 6 of us discussed what we wanted & sent our inspiration photos to Stephen & Brandon (most of which were copied straight onto their iPads & sent to the printers for the stencil). We inquired about the $200 fee & were told that $100 is credit for the tattoos but the other $100 is an “art fee.” Collectively the 6 of us have over 40 tattoos & the “art fee” is always part of the final price of the tattoo. We don’t understand this charge, especially when all of the work was copied straight from the pictures we sent them. It’s not like they worked on sketches before we got there.The Divine Tattoo Parlor’s website says “All pricing is based on end work, all quotes are subject to change based on time & difficulty. All Tattoo reservations require a $100 deposit to reserve the time spot. this will be added to your end total.” THIS WAS NOT THE CASE.*Any tattoos I have received in the past, the area was shaved. This didn’t happen.*During the tattoos we were all surrounded by gnats. Gross.Persons B-F were charged an excessive amount of $200-300 for dainty flowers that took maybe 20-30 mins each, & only one of them had color.Person A ended up (by a fluke) with another artist in the studio & was charged $120.We all agreed that the other 5 of us had been screwed over.I didn’t tip Brandon because of him keeping the $100 “art fee.” After he realized he was not tipped by me, Brandon tried to add another $50 to one of the other girls that Stephen tattooed.We felt completely stuck because 3 of us took time off work to be there & the other 3 were in from out of town. We weren’t entirely sure we could all get in at another studio. In hindsight, we should’ve walked away & taken the loss of the $200.That evening & the following morning, we discovered that, at that time, there were no licensed tattoo artists in the state of MO by the name of Brandon Duncan or Stephen Harpe. Brandon had one that expired in 2013, but nothing current. They weren’t listed on the website anywhere. If they were apprentices, they didn’t mention it! Brandon claimed to be a tattoo artist for years but we couldnt find a current license for him.However, what we DID find (while searching for a tattoo license) was that Brandon is a registered sex offender. Person B, who was tattooed by him, feels especially taken advantage of because of the placement of her tattoo. Had she known, she would not have gotten tattooed by him.*yes we tried reaching out to the owners, they were unavailable & judging by their comments left on any negative reviews they don’t/won’t care*yes formal complaints were filed*yes we attempted to get clarity on the “art fee*to tattoo in the state of MO, you have to be licensed even if you’re there temporarily*it isn’t required for an apprentice to tell you that they are an apprentice, however, it is good morals & ethics to do so. In any case, they shouldn’t be charging almost double what the licensed artist charges in a shop

My daughter got a belly button piercing and as soon as she came home she told us that its crooked. It is and very noticeably so!Shes not even sure how to go about getting this fixed or even if it can be. Weve been here several times with good results from other piercings as well as tattoos.Anyone know of a really good piercer that has experience fixing someone elses mistake?

Stephen Harpe met me when I walked in to buy body jewelry for my girlfriend. The atmosphere of the location had me entranced immediately. Non pushy artist that allows you to feel comfortable and will help you expand on any ideas that you have. Even played me a game of pool! After the fun of pool the real fun began and I left with an addition to a very important piece on my arm along with the jewelery I had initially came in for. I have been searching for the past 7 years for an artist that I am comfortable with. I can say without hesitation that this gentleman will complete both my sleeves and much more!

Each time Ive been there, I have been greeted at the door and made to feel comfortable; a quality that has unfortunately been lost in the business world. Today I got my first tattoo, when I walked in the people were extremely friendly and professional. Jesse Mathis was the one who did my tattoo and he was very patient and kind. He also made sure the stencil looked perfect before he started working. To anyone who is wanting to get a tattoo I would highly recommend going here.

Jesse was a fantastic artist to have was very precise and wanted to perfect everything about the tattoo did really good work really quick!

Jesse did my belly button it is a very relaxing environment. He was amazing. Did not hurt at all.

About a year and a half ago I got my bridge pierced here. Immediately it as uneven. Piercer told me it was due to swelling. I waited almost a week and it was still uneven. I eventually went back and got it redone for free by the owner which a free additional piercing was offered through text beforehand but then it was never mentioned when I was there. I advised the piercer the second time that I think the marked dots should be adjusted. That suggestion was promptly ignored and pierced the way the marks were and lone and behold, it was so uneven that I just took it out a couple days later. Today over a year later, I am left with an ugly scar on my nose and no piercing and a new horrible fear about getting it pierced again or any other piercing for that matter.

Everyone is always very kind and welcoming and very helpful and ready to work with you. I’ve been back four times now and I’m never disappointed with the work I have done.

Brooke hands down does amazing flower work!! Sad to admit but I used my daughter as the test subject before coming in for my own tattoo. We made an appointment with Brooke for my daughter to get a tattoo covered. She did an amazing job. After seeing her artwork I reached out to her to get one. Mine was on the smaller side and I was informed upfront that she doesn’t take appointments for smaller tattoos but does keep Sunday’s open for walk-ins.WOW they are a busy place! But that is a reflection of their quality work. When we walked in we were greeted right away, informed it would be a long wait. Everyone was very friendly. I wanted Brooke to be my artist but could also see she was being pulled back and forth between tattoos and piercings. I mention this because I told one of the artist I would take first artist if Brooke was going to be out longer than others. I was impressed with the artist telling me she would be best for what I was wanting. I’m very appreciative that he didn’t attempt to tattoo me if he felt someone else would be better suited. The wait was long but so worth it! She did an amazing job on a tattoo very meaningful to me! She was so sweet, listened to what I wanted and captured it! A beautiful purple marigold for my very special granddaughter who spent 101 days in NICU before graduating home! Thank you so much Brooke for the tattoo that is so meaningful to me! She’s a true professional! I will definitely go back to her for any future tattoos!

My first tattoo ever! I went in with no idea what I wanted and spoke with Annie. She did the design for me and it is perfect!! This tattoo represents my three kids and is perfect!! Thank you Annie for making my first tattoo experience enjoyable. Dont know if I will ever get another one or not, but if I do Divine Tattoo will be where I go.

The tat speaks for itself!!!! On a whim I got off work and decided, I would love a finger tat. I found myself at Divine Tattoo Parlor. Jeremy had a design of what I wanted drawn up in no time flat. The precision of his line work was so perfect that from a glance it did not look real. The more I looked at it the more I loved it! I could not have asked for a better impromptu experience. Jeremy was kind, informative, and quick- only taking about 20 minutes total. Jeremy will be my go to for all my finger tattoos as I have deemed him The Tatt Boss! Went in this weekend to get my 10mo ears pierced. They were so patient and gentle with her!My mother and I then went back to get matching tattoos because we absolutely loved the service and family environment. Brandon did our matching tattoos and was absolutely amazing. I am very picky and he was patient and did amazing and fulfilling my wants! He is very light handed, I could have fallen asleep while he tattooed me. He was very comfortable to talk with during the session and was quick. The healing process has been great and no issues.

My boyfriend and I took his daughter in for her first tattoo for her 18th and we had Jesse. He did a great job, he worked quick and clean and the tattoo came out perfect. It was overall a great experience and someone and someplace we will go back to. 😊👍👍👍

My sister and I went here to get ourselves some Christmas piercings. Our piercer, Brooke, was very personable and assuring to work with, she also didn’t make us feel rushed even though it was near to close. The shop was clean and had a variety of neat little things to look at while we were there. After a poor experience with another shop, going here was a breath of fresh air. Couldn’t be happier with the results!!

Just got a tattoo done by Chris on the 12th, he did a phenomenal job! I couldnt of asked for anything better. He took the time and put care into the entire process. And made some amazing art. Overall extremely happy with the entire shop, it was very clean and professional. And my wife got a tattoo from chris as well and it also turned out amazing.

I live in Michigan and was down visiting family and decided to get a tattoo. Russ is awesome with his work. My husband also got a tattoo someday by him and when people see our tattoos they are amazed with the work he did and ask where did you go. So Russ may have more Michigan people heading his way. Posting under my husbands name, but Divine is my go to shop forever.I’ve gotten 4 tattoos here, 1 piercing. My husband has gotten 2 tattoos here. All of them were absolutely amazing, professional, honest and clean. The atmosphere in the shop is amazing. They are always at conventions to get better at their work and always bounce ideas off the other artists ideas to give you the best tattoo possible. The dynamic of the crew is so fun. I love the hours spent here. Every time a friend is in town we hit up Divine for a tattoo day. We’ve been tattooed by multiple of the artists and all of their work is unique and different than the other. They’re always more than happy to help you find the best artist for your tattoo, which is one of the top reasons I love them. They’re honest and want the best work on your body. If you’re looking for an awesome tattoo shop, GO TO DIVINE. 🤩🤩

Had my industrial pierced here. Piercer didnt place the bar correctly so it literally rubbed against my ear for a week, cutting into the skin and irritating it because she didnt take my anatomy into account. Its not that I dont have the anatomy for an industrial - I clearly do - she just didnt even try to get the orientation right. I had to get the piercing removed and the other ear repierced somewhere else. Im never coming back here, lol. Waste of money and time for nothing but a bad piercing.Editing my review, lol. Here are the pictures before and after the piercing was removed. I had this done Friday December 27th, and had it removed on January fourth. The piercing was literally digging into my ear because of the bad placement. I was pierced by a woman with short hair, I cant remember her name. I am also a woman, lmao. Alex is short for a longer name.

He was very kind/gentle, informative, patient and all around had a great vibe! Briefly spoke with Brandon who was also super chill! Even the other employee (female, didn’t catch name sorry, girl!) was positive and encouraging to my daughter.If you’re considering a piercing or tattoo, look no farther! You’ve found a fantastic place.Reminder: if bringing a minor, remember to bring their birth certificate! This parlor takes their profession seriously which I appreciate so much.

I picked Cheyenne to do two tattoos. I had some pretty specific guidelines for their size and placement and he did exactly what I wanted him to do. He was very easy to work with. On my initial visit, I saw some of his work in the flesh that had already healed. He knows to apply a lot of detail and vibrant colors. He’s a great choice and I’ll definitely use him for some bigger pieces in the future. The shop itself is awesome. They have spared no expense to make it really nicely decorated and it has a great vibe. There is a $10 charge for paying with a card, so bring cash if that’s an issue. I had a great experience here and I would recommend you to give this place a try for your next tattoo.

Took my niece for a nose piercing the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Jeremy was amazing telling her when to breathe so she dont feel the pain as much. We will be back you guys are the best!

She is a perfectionist which I very much appreciated. She took the time to listen to me, create something that I love, and then executed it with the utmost professionalism. The entire store was super friendly and everyone was really fun to talk to. This is important when youre going to be there for a while! I cant recommend this tattoo parlor or this artist enough. I recently brought my daughters here for a nose piercing. I highly recommend this tattoo parlor. The business is welcoming, clean, and spacious with plenty of room for each artist to work and concentrate on their clients. We were greeted right away by the owner who did their piercings. My stepson, daughter and I went in right after they opened and explained that we all wanted tattoos that day and especially my stepson because he was leaving town the next day. Divine Tattoo Parlor was a great place to go to get my ears pierced on our weekend trip to Kansas City. I was a little nervous since I haven’t gotten any piercings in awhile but Jeremy did a great job and I’m so glad we picked this place! 😁 (Also there’s a cool fish tank with an even cooler cheetah colored eel inside! My sister and I loved him 😎)

I got my first tattoo here. My man Shawn Crowell did it and made it a great experience. He made sure I was comfortable and double checked the tat was EXACTLY where I wanted before he started. Would recommend to other first timers alike.Great environment as a whole here as well. Other artists would stop by and chime in as well. Nothing but good vibes.

Chris is awesome! Did pretty much a half sleeve in 2 visits. He cared about the tattoo and took his time to ensure it was as detailed as could be. If your looking for realistic art, go holler at chris. Def going back for my other arm this summer and excited for how it will look.

Drove about four hours for a walk in understanding that we would possibly have a wait since there were four of us looking to get a tattoo - we lucked out and were able to be helped immediately. It was my sons first tattoo and Brooke was awesome helping talk him through it. Audrey listened to what I was wanting and picked the perfect colors for my tattoo. Steven drew up exactly what my sons girlfriend was looking for. Russ knocked out my husbands tattoo in no time but didn’t skimp on the quality. Looking forward to coming back for some bigger pieces to be done. Would definitely recommend this shop - bright, clean and friendly. Cheyenne is an amazing artist! I would never go anywhere else. I get compliments on my tattoo anytime its visible. The owner did my lip piercing and was so friendly. The place is fun, and soooo clean. I cant imagine a better tattoo/piercing experience.

Took my 10-year-old in for an ear piercing and they did great! We went in as a walk-in and were out within the hour. The piercer took his time measuring for symmetry, explained what he was doing as he went, was patient, and encouraged my nervous kiddo! Great experience and highly recommend for piercings 😊🌟

Ive been here twice in the past month for a tattoo and 2 piercings. Brooke did both of my piercings and she was super professional and kind. While she did my nipple piercing I felt super comfortable while she was teaching someone else about it. She made my experience so much better. Russ was absolutely amazing! I had dermal piercing for 13 years and was able to remove them. He was so nice and professional. The entire parlor had a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. I would absolutely go back.

I had the best experience at Divine Tattoo with my artist Brooke. Earlier this year I decided to get a sternum piece and Brooke designed a custom tattoo that WAY exceeded my expectations. I have never had issues with getting tattooes in sensitive areas so I thought this would be a similar experience. Turns out what I thought was going to be a 2 session max tattoo turned into a 4 session tattoo as the sternum was more difficult for me to sit through than anticipated. Brooke went above and beyond letting me schedule short frequent sessions and doing everything she could to make sure I was comfortable, and made sure this tattoo was done by the timeline I needed it completed by. If youre looking for a great tattoo shop, this was one of the best experiences Ive ever had with a tattoo and you wont be disappointed. The artists care about the quality of their work and they truly care for their customers. I will definitely be back!

Great folks. Just stopped in for a couple simple piercings with no appointment. We were greeted immediately and within minutes of signing paperwork new hardware was installed, I had a cool new sticker, and we were on our way. Very seriously looking into some new ink here as well as the artists are fantastic and the building is immaculately clean.

I literally love the artist who work here! They are extremely patient and welcoming especially with how busy they always are when I’m there for any work. Brooke and Jesse have both taken care of me and are always on top of cleanliness and making sure I’m comfortable before and after anything. Divine is my go to spot for piercings and tattoos.

Divine tattoo has to be one of the classiest and cleanest shops I’ve ever been into. Russ has poured his heart and hard work into him and his wife’s shop. Great customer service, great attitudes, and of course amazing work.

Brooke was amazing! She did a very good job on mine and my husbands tattoos. Cid was amazing as well and kept everything in order when it started getting busy. She was also very friendly. They both talked with us while we were getting our tattoos done.

Do they always falsely advertise? Do they always end things abruptly with no notifications? Do they always close up shop and purposely waste peoples time? Do they always close up shop without notification for impromptu vacations? Do they always go back on their word and published adds? Do they always fail to honor their word? These are the issues Ive come across with this specific tattoo parlor twice! Both times Ive tried going there. I do not have enough faith that if they do this again they will actually honor it, for this reason I doubt I will go back out of my way again to make the trek up there just to go to this parlor. I will however go have breakfast at dcreamery again! What a way to lose customers!

Got my belly button pierced with Brooke and it was basically pain free. She was super nice and professional and I was in and out very fast with no appointment. The place was clean and comfortable and everyone was very friendly. Way better experience here than with other piercings I’ve gotten. I’ll for sure be back.

My husband and I had 3 tattoos we wanted. The tattoos were unique but Broke took us as walk-ins and had us out the our with our new ink Im just a couple hours! I love the atmosphere and the people. Very clean and safe environment!

About a year ago, I had Cheyenne tattoo my forearm. It was an awesome experience and Cheyenne did a fantastic job. The design was originally all black, but I told him I didnt want any black on it and just a bunch of fun, cool temperature colors. He picked out several colors and created a masterpiece!I love my tattoo and the shop has several extremely talented artists. Im getting ready to graduate from grad school in May and my present to myself is going to be another tattoo from Cheyenne at Divine Tattoo!!!

I LOVE this place. Had an amazing experience with Brooke.My boyfriend and I went in for one of their flash sales and that’s how we met Brooke. We got to talking to her about future tattoos we were interested in and she talked with us about it and showed genuine interest.So when we were ready to get them, we called into the shop. Brooke answered and set up a date for us to come in and even emailed with me about my ideas and wants for the tattoos through the night.When we went in, the poor girl was the only one in there because Russ had meetings all evening. Something that was unavoidable and she handled very well. When she got started on my tattoo, about 7 piercings walked in. She was very apologetic about having to make us wait, but she seriously crushed every piercing that came in even stayed way past close to make sure that I got taken care of.I was very impressed with her talent and her dedication.And both of our tattoos turned out amazing. Going in for shading in a few weeks.This shop is very clean, run by professionals, and has employees that love what they do and care about their patrons.We’ll never go anywhere else.

Where to begin! I love the atmosphere of the shop, it’s very crisp and clean. The people are amazing and always willing to go the extra mile. I personally have been working with Brooke. She’s been working on a floral half sleeve and has been so great! She took the time to go over exactly what I wanted for my design so she could make something that I would love. She also has spent a lot of time perfecting each flower and making sure that each one is realistic and unique. Brooke is also very accomadating and makes the time for me and works around my schedule. I receive a flat piercing and I definitely wouldn’t recommend coming back again, this is not the place to get piercings at, I never got a selection on the jewelry i wanted to be pierced with I’m not even sure what metal I was pierced with, it was gold, so very unlikely that it was surgical steel which should be one of the only things you get pierced with, no after care directions and I was pierced with the wrong gage, a typical flat piercing is 16g I got pierced with an lobe piercing that had a butterfly backing, and you really shouldn’t have a butterfly backing on cartilage piercing. They staff is friendly and that was the only reason why it is receiving 1 star! I do not recommend for piercings!!!

I went into Divine Tattoo as a walk-in and was lucky enough to get Russ (the OWNER) as my artist. I told him what I was wanting and he drew it up. It ended up better than I ever could have imagined. It was an honor to have my work done by an award winning BADASS artist, who is an even better person. You can’t go wrong with this place. It was clean, professional, laid back, and just comfortable. You want to be tattooed there just by the feel of the environment. I will definitely be back! My favorite tattoo by far.

Fantastic experience! I drew a design and headed here to see what it would cost and book an appointment. Steven was available to do it right then and he did my tattoo beautifully. Everyone was professional. Facility was the cleanest I’ve ever seen. I’m already planning my next tattoos and maybe a piercing or two. This will be my shop from now on.

I went in for an industrial piercing and belly button. Russ Quinn did both for me, he got me started almost immediately after I got there. He was really professional, and did both pretty quickly giving me tips for caring and letting me ask whatever questions I had. Super clean and AWESOME atmosphere. I don’t usually write reviews but I’ve been to 10+ tattoo shops in Kansas City and Divine is EASILY the best. they are patient, kind, and most importantly they are intentional with every tattoo they create. the energy in most tattoo shops just unfortunately aren’t always the best but divine is just amazing. I’ve gotten several piercings and tattoos from here and I will continue to go back.

We came into the shop because my girlfriends tragus piecing had fallen out. We were immediately greeted and asked what we could be helped with. Brooke willingly helped place the ring back into the peircing and even explained the reason it was falling out. Highly recommend this shop!All the artists seemed extremely friendly and knowledgeable as well as previous art being displayed to showcase their abilities. Yesterday, 10/7/2022, I went in for an industrial bar piercing. I wanted one for 14 years, and since I was officially done with my “4th trimester” I figured now was a good time. The parlor was clean, well light and very welcoming. Russ, one of the owners did my piercing and their apprentice watched. He was explaining it step by step to the apprentice down to the clean up, which I enjoyed hearing as it allowed me to learn what was going on too. We spoke about the anatomy of the ear and when it can and can’t be done. I learned Rss had been piercing for 20+ years, so highly experienced. It was quick and really, pretty low on the pain scale.Now that it is the next day, it feels good! A little sore but I can turn the bar with very little discomfort.Honestly if I ever decide I want another piercing, or a tattoo I will absolutely be returning.(Katie Charles is a persona name, real name is Kaitlyn Cook)

I had only 2 small tattoos in my life, each easily hidden if necessary. So deciding to permanently ink my favorite artist’s work on my forearm was a big deal, because the piece was large and in “prime real estate” all alone. I was referred to a tattoo joint that shall remain nameless, and paid a regrettable amount of money for a sloppy permanent disaster, that could and SHOULD have been a showstopper! After much suffering, I happened into Divine Tattoo randomly just to inquire about possible fixes. Expecting to be condescended to or blown off, Russ expressed no doubt in his ability to re-work my tattoo into the masterpiece I had envisioned; confident never arrogant, he was straight about the process it would entail, and never used-car-salesman’d me about cost. Took my deposit upon scheduling me, and actually recorded in his books??? That’s refreshing, and also the appropriate way to conduct professional business. Russ isn’t cheap, but he’s absolutely fair, and earned every dollar; there’s no reason he needs to bargain out his work and time, as he’s been in biz for over 20 years, and it shows! Had I gone to him in the first place it would have saved me a lot of money and disappointment. 100% recommend. So happy.Love the shop too! Neat and comfy, set up tastefully, with a story in much of the decor. Audrey does permanent makeup too, and that is now on my to-do list.

Fancy decorations in the shop dont make a place Divine. Dressed nicely just for the Advertising. 🤷‍♂️ Nothing about the visit was 5⭐ worthy. The service was completed that we paid for is all...🤙Response to Owner.... Clearly you have some anger issues. Referencing my 200 reviews. I just provide honest reviews and if needed a warning about places. With your lack of good communication skills showing in your response. It is evident you are the wrong person to run a tattoo shop. My initial 4 ⭐ review was nice and just referenced how you advertise a High End Divine experience. It is not High End its just a run of the mill typical (Jeans and T-Shirt) tattoo shop. I will not call you and be berated with attitude which is evident that would happen with your style of responses on Google. If I wouldve read the other reviews before my visit I wouldve not even stepped foot in your door. I recommend hiring a front man that doesnt have an attitude problem to maintain your Social Media Platforms which is an area your clearly lacking...🤙

Im from out of town (Maryland) and came down Valentines day weekend to visit my babe who is stationed here in MO. I was in a piercing mood and looked this shop up and we loved the reviews from the Karens so we had to come ourselves! It was a nice experience. I got three piercings and he got his lip tattoo touched up. No complaints from us! Would definitely come back if we ever have the chance!

I got my septum pierced at a different shop 2 months ago, I had the opportunity for an unexpected job interview and since I’ve never been able to flip the jewelry it was pierced with inside my nose to hide it I went to the closest shop to my house in order to be able to buy a more quality metal to replace the one I had. But instead of selling me on jewelry and letting myself risk infection they took me into their piercing room and used their already sanitized tools to make it possible for my piercing to flip without changing it. And then they wouldn’t let me pay them. The place caught me off guard when I walked in, it’s super clean and has a real nice vibe and aesthetic, not to mention every chair was filled so I’ll definitely be looking into them for future work. Thanks again, y’all were real cool.

My husband and I on a whim walked in 30 mins before closing and asked if they could tattoo a small saying on each of us. Without hesitation 2 artists got our saying ready to be tatted. I came to Divine on a whim. They were running a Friday the 13th special. Yes. They were busy. But I got in in a timely manner. I got 2 tattoos. Russ did my first one, his work? Outstanding. His lines are so clean, and his shading? Fantastic. Audrey did my second. Her lines are nice and clean too, and she is super friendly. In fact, everyone at the shop is friendly. The music selection was also on point. I ended up bringing my 2 kids that night, and they got wonderful service as well. I will be back.

After being turned down for ring tattoos by a couple of places, my husband and I were referred to Russ and couldn’t have been happier. He treated us as though we’d been lifelong friends and was more than welcome to assure us he’d care for our work in the event it needed to be retouched. Great studio, great vibe, great service, just all around great people.

While very content with the tattoo work and cleanliness of the establishment, we unfortunately experienced such an unprofessional environment that we felt it was only fair to give 2 stars.We called several days in advance to schedule an appointment for my 3 sisters and I, each with the intent to get a tattoo no larger than the palm size of a small child. We were told there was no need to make an appointment, that we could just walk in and each be done within 30 minutes, so thats what we did. Sadly it did not go that way.When first walking in, we were told wed have to wait an hour. We waited the hour, and after one of us was done, Vlad (who was very nice) was then pulled out by Russ to the front of the store to conduct whatever business they had. Why not go to a private space?Fast forward 2 hours when our last person was being worked on, Russ came back in and asked Vlad when hell be done while he was tattooing somebody (!?), we felt extremely uncomfortable and rushed after we had been waiting at this point for several hours (lol).We went in with the expectation that this would be, at most, an hour-2 hour long experience, instead it turned into a 4 hour long process.We recommend this place for the great tattoo artistry by Vlad in particular. However, make sure you have an appointment and dont expect much on the side of professionalism.If you want more evidence concerning the lack of professionalism just look through the reviews and read Russs (the owner) rude and disrespectful responses to people who write a bad review.

Saturday December 1st my daughter got her nose pierced here & we had the BEST experience ever! My daughter received the piercing as a bday present. The piercing explained what the process was, answered her questions, took his time to make sure she felt comfortable!! He was so wonderful my daughter didn’t even flinch!! We will be back & have told our friends where we went! The 40min drive one way was well worth it!! Shop was spotless & staff was super friendly which made us feel welcomed!

I went in yesterday and my mom and I got piercings. Not only was it super clean but Brooke helped me decide what side i wanted my piercing on. When we went back to get them done she slowly walked us through the whole process. I have 5 other piercings but i have to admit this was the best experience Ive ever had. This was my mothers first piercing and she said shell never let anyone else pierce her unless its in this store!!

Shawn was an excellent artist with great customer service skills. He looked at my idea from an online picture, took the changes I wanted into consideration, and designed my tattoo on the spot!

They definitely overcharged us. I payed close to 300 for a tiny tattoo and one of the tattoo artists talked trash on us to our friends and they didn’t ID three of us. The tattoo looks fine but they definitely overcharged us. Ik someone who went there and got a bigger tattoo than I did with more detail for almost 100$ less than I payed

My mom took me to get my first nose piercing and it was the best experience. Russ does all of her tattoos and they’re amazing. She also trusts pretty much no one with me so her demanding that Russ do it if I wanted it done says a lot about his experience and knowledge.

Talk about an experience. Steve did amazing at both my piercings despite how annoying they were to do (had daith pierced on both ears). He made us laugh, we made him laugh. He was just fantastic. The shop itself was really great. You walk in and immediately feel comfortable and know its clean. They offered hand sanitizer and masks if you wanted them. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

I had a awesome microblading experience yesterday with Audrey Quinn. She was professional and knowledgeable and eased my little heart through the entire process. From beginning to end was thorough with explanations every step of they way. She is a perfectionist, and it shows in the detail of her work. I love my brows, and they make my whole face look better! I love this place so much! Fantastic service. I am a person with extreme anxiety and loud sounds and bright lights over stimulate me but this place is perfect. Not to loud private very welcoming. They make sure you have a good time and leave with high quality work. I got my bridge and eyebrow done and im so happy with the result! I will definitely be coming back in the future.

I already had an appointment scheduled to get another piece done the end of April, but saw their Friday the 13th special and jumped at the chance to get an anchor for my sailor ⚓ even through there was a bit of line (for good reason) they got me in within a little over an hour. While I didnt want exactly the pre drawn anchor, and wanted something smaller, Brooke was more than happy to free hand it beautifully! Her line work is on point, and now I have something so meaningful on my ankle. I cannot wait to come back for my appointment in April, and to eventually get a helm on the other ankle. Russ was awesome. My tattoo is a large piece and he was constantly making sure I was ok. He often discussed details we wanted to do or not do to the piece. He kept good convo and provided me with extra wrap to keep it protected. He worked efficiently and I am proud to have his work on my arm.

I did a walk-in. The atmosphere is cozy and Russ and Brooke are really friendly and helpful. I got both nipples pierced here; both Russ and Brooke did them for me. It was quick, easy and they did an amazing job. I will be going back ♡

Called and said I have a small tattoo and they said walk-ins were more than welcome only to come into the shop ready for the tattoo only to find out they can’t do it because my 30 minute tattoo interferes with the tattooist’s appointments multiple hours from the time I walked in. Note: the tattoo would be the size of a half dollar coin so it would for sure not have taken a lot of time. Looked like the employees were more interested in a smoke break than business.

They were fast and easy to chat with. Will definitely go back to this shop for anymore piercings. Their prices are listed on a board when you walk in so you know what youre paying for. Also the vibe in the shop is cool af.

Just got 1 of 3 parts to a tattoo of my kids initials and its incredible. Steve is truly Badass at what he does and I cant wait till I get it all finished. Highly recommend divine tattoo parlor. They let my kiddo pick the font and give the yes to it and even allowed her to see it after it was done vs just having to sitting out in my car or in the front.

I walked into the shop and it seemed clean and professional. But once I was getting my nose pierced it all went downhill. My piercer pierced my nose 3 TIMES before getting it right. Only for me to end up with a straight bar. Which ended up falling out DAILY. Nobody I talked to had ever heard of someone giving them and straight piece. I was at work 5 weeks after and it fell out and Got lost. and it was still super swollen and irritated because of how many times it was done. People constantly commented on it, and how swollen it looked. I iced it and cleaned it often but it never helped. Over all I had a bad experience and would never recommend getting a piercing done here. My nose will have to heal before I can go through with it again. I am extremely disappointed.

I had Russ redo my lip tattoo, which isn’t easy to do, and he did such a fantastic job! I couldn’t of asked for a better tattoo job or better service. Will definitely send anyone I know that wants a tattoo to Divine and recommend everyone to go there!

Dont waste your time. They cant pierce. They are horrible!!! They wont even answer the phone!! Your definitely gonna wanna go to Northeast Tattoo Supply thats where its at! Home of 10$ piercings. Good people. Friendly and nice work treat you like family tattoo and pierce like professionals!

Took my 4 year old niece here to get her ears pierced. Parlor was clean. They were very quick with the whole process and walked us through what they were doing before it all happened. Both ears were pierced at the same time. We we were in and out in a matter of 15 minutes top. Thanks for being so friendly and efficient.

I worked with Audrey Quinn on getting my brows microbladed. So worth it! She was able to explain each part of the process in a simple, easy to understand way. She was very calm and had steady hands for our session. Cant wait for my touch up session in a month. Did I mention I have eyebrows again? Wow! Ill update again after my touch up, stay tuned....

Divíne Tattoo Parlor, I havent been here yet, but plan to even after reading the reviews. I want to acknowledge you and your team for 1st being human with a hard earned business and 2nd, being straight forward with clients. Yes one offs happen, but I see there are more positives that out weigh all the others. I have tattoos from one other place and need a new artist for more in the future. However very soon Ill be comeing in for a nose piercing, (1st time). Also yes I gave 5 stars before any services or going into the parlor because I respect Divine for being straight forward and honest and its always the customers choice to agree and proceed as well as the responsibility to follow provided instructions. If theres any issues we as the customer should always be sure to inform the artist before giving the OK 👌.

Tattoo was a small 1.5x5 inch heartbeat with a small heart that had 2 colors. $250 and it took 20 minutes to do is a bit high. Especially when I got a quote on another tattoo that is approx 7x4. Has shading and a small amount of color for $400 to $450... just doesnt seem right. Especially when you look at the hourly rate of the tattooers.

I just went and got a tattoo in memory of my mom yesterday! I’m a big whimp when it comes to needles, but the guy who did my tattoo did great. I went in with a picture and explained what I wanted and he drew up the perfect tattoo. I’m all around pleased with my tattoo and the customer service at Divine.

Russ did a great job piercing my son’s nose today. Prior to today, I had never heard of this shop, but I will recommend it to everyone I know! Thank you so much for a great experience!
