Removery KC is fantastic, great people and excellent service. I have been going there for almost a year now. The initial consultation and subsequent appointments have been super quick and easy. Everyone is personable and welcoming. Kelsi has done most of my treatments, she’s a great conversationalist and chatting with her makes an otherwise painful experience not so bad! My tattoo was practically brand new and I have already seen significant fading. Highly recommend!

This is the second place I’ve gone to for tattoo removal and I now wish that I would’ve started here. Firstly, the process of setting up an appointment was incredibly easy and stress free. Upon going in for my consult, the staff was super friendly and so so helpful - which I really appreciated since I was admittedly nervous. The woman that was helping me explained the process, payment methods, and answered all of my questions thoroughly. They were even able to proceed with my first treatment after my consult. The experience of the treatment itself was quick and a lot less painful when compared to my previous experience at another business. 10/10 would recommend ❤️

We had a couple consultations prior to coming here and I’m so glad we went with the Removery. The consultation was very thorough. She made sure to know everything about why I was doing it and actually remembered everything. I felt very comfortable. When it came to the removal, it was not as bad as I thought it would be. It stung more than being painful like you would expect. I would definitely recommend the Removery if you’re wanting a removal or a fade at all.

I’ve done my first two sessions getting a tattoo removed and I started seeing results after the first session. The pain is totally manageable, and honestly just feels like a rubber band snap. I’m very happy with my decision and the staff are always super nice. 10/10.

Removery on State Line is truly remarkable! I have had 5 treatments and my chest tattoo is almost gone! The results are real y’all and the staff is incredible. Great place and great staff! They will answer your questions in great detail of how the laser scatters the ink molecules and how your body processes the ink. I’m on my 5th treatment and you can see a huge difference from my first treatment in Feb 2024. It does take some time to see some fading but be patient. I’d highly recommend Removery!

Upon first impressions, coming from another removal company out-of-state, I was extremely pleased! Kelsi did my consultation and my first removal service. I had already had removal work done, but Kelsi put me at ease that this company is ahead of others in the field, and that my experience would be better than it had from my previous 8 treatments. I’ve had the easiest, smoothest experience imaginable at this Removery, from the very beginning of planning my removal onward. Im shocked at how painless of a process this has been. My first session was a breeze and everyone Ive met so far has been very kind and helpful. As someone with a low pain tolerance, I laughed with relief during my first treatment after realizing it wasnt going to be that bad. Im thankful for the caring staff and cant wait to continue seeing progress.

I just finished my first treatment today! I have four small tattoos and signed up for a 3 time package treatment. I have already noticed lightening in some areas as well as certain lines on my tattoos disappearing already! No major discomfort during the session or after.

Ive been through 5 sessions now and am very impressed! I had a really dark chest tattoo that I got nearly 11 years ago for whatever reason. Love this place! I am a traveling nurse and they have many locations which makes it very convenient for me. The employees are always very kind, accommodating, as well as informative. After 6 treatments I’ve had significant fading (will need more treatments). Thank you to removery and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing laser removal.

I have been to this location twice. The people here are so friendly & professional. I really think today was my best session too! The lady who zapped me today had been there 7 years, that’s amazing these days, hope she’s making some BIG bucks, she deserves it!

I’ve only had two sessions with removery so far but my experience has been beyond pleasant. Staff is extremely competent, knowledgeable, and kind! I felt zero pressure during my consultation and they explored every possible option with me. They are very patient and helpful! As far as the actual laser removal I, again, have had an extremely pleasant experience. It is a very quick process and they will take as many breaks as you need. My first session I noticed my skin feeling a bit tender but only for a few days after. My second session was tender for only about 30 minutes. Follow their instruction on how to take care of your tattoo to ensure proper healing and it will be a breeze. Staff is very gentle and I highly recommend if you are interested in learning more or starting the process! Facility is also extremely clean and it is a very relaxing environment.

Clean, professional & kind! Kelsey with the KC Removery team has been working with me on my stubborn back tattoo. She’s so sweet and knowledgeable! I originally started my removal process with a different shop and didn’t feel that they were as organized or had much expertise. Billy at Removery KC is the absolute best. She made me feel so comfortable for what can be a nerve wrecking experience. The results have been so much better than I thought too. After 3 sessions with her, my large tattoos are fading a lot from a dark black ink to a reddish brown color. I can’t recommend her enough if you are on the fence about it.

All the girls are super sweet here. They get you in and out (let’s be honest this is not an appointment you want to linger on). Pain is tolerable. They talk you through everything really well. I have been going to Removery since it was Invisible Ink. The girls there are incredibly friendly, professional, and skilled at what they do. I was surprised to see how cheap it is to get my tattoo removed and the best part is that no matter what they quote you, you will never be charged more AND they continue to treat you until your tattoo is completely gone. The process itself is slightly painful and you can only get treated every 8 weeks so it does seem to be a big commitment. The staff are always prepared to start your appointment on time and have done amazing at adjusting to COVID protocols to keep their clients safe. Thank you Melissa and team for all that you do!

I Have been coming here for almost 2 years now and I’m definitely pleased with the outcome so far… started to get a little discouraged after the 1st few months then BAM my tattoos started to fade!!! A lot of my ink is mostly black and and now they are pretty much gone!!! The staff is always friendly and overtime you get to know your tech on a personal level. All in all my expectations have been met in the time I have been coming here and always look forward to coming again.

I have nothing but great things to say about Removery. Though I was a little concerned at first, my fears were immediately put to rest as the entire crew welcomed me and made sure I was comfortable with the treatment. Though having laser treatment isn’t my first choice to spend my time, I find myself looking forward to treatment days to see these incredible people. If you are wanting to get rid of some ink, I highly recommend Removery (formerly Invisible Ink)!!! I have been getting removal treatments on all three of my tattoos over the last 4 years (I have missed, or had to reschedule a few appointments, dragging the time out a bit for me), and I am very happy with the results. I am almost done, and the ink is almost gone. Many people have told me that they wouldnt have known I ever had tattoos if I hadnt told them. If you really want them gone, it is worth the money. They do a free consultation to discuss everything about the process, and the cost, before you commit to it. The staff is very friendly, and sociable, and the place is CLEAN! One of the best decisions Ive ever made!

Give you everything you need to care for it after treatments. Don’t be afraid to ask questions!! Make sure you have all the information and decide if it’s right for you. It’s not cheap, but what procedure is? Especially cosmetic. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Very clean establishment. I’m thrilled with the results so far, it’s fading much faster than I ever imagined it would. I’m following their instructions carefully and am seeing the results I want on the removal of my foot tattoo. Another word to the wise, it doesn’t tickle—but you’ll survive. So glad I came here. I would rather spend the money (financing!!) And have it gone than have to stare at a tattoo I hate for the rest of my life.

20 years ago I got a couple of tattoos that werent great to begin with and over time have faded and the ink has spread causing large areas of black, unrecognizable ink. Paid over $1000 had 6 treatments and really NO noticeable change. Always the reason was artist might have put something in the ink, we weren’t massaging it enough or just needed another $1500 worth of more sessions. Would never recommend this place been 11 months and see no difference 😬. Nice people but it didn’t work for us. Not even enough for a cover-up tattoo.

Invisible ink is fantastic. The women here are extremely professional and courteous. The place is very clean and always smells fantastic. They always offer a drink and make sure youre most comfortable. They also give you everything you need information wise, and pre and post care wise, to make sure you achieve the most satisfactory results. Its not super painful, coming from the guy who lost the numbing cream the first time and then applied it wrong the second time(which is completely my fault for not remembering what they had told me😂). I have a black tattoo theyre removing for me so that I can get another piece. I saw results as quick as a week after the first treatment. Also they longer after the treatment the more of a difference you will notice. Top notch experience with these gals I definitely recommend them if youre looking to get a piece removed.

Pros: the technicians and admin staff were very kind and professional!Cons: this is, unfortunately, a racket. I had two sessions by Shelley at Ink-B-Gone in Denver before moving to KC. My tattoo was half gone after 2 45-minute sessions (with 6 months in between, which is Shelley’s MINIMUM recommended spacing for treatments because your body continues to process the tattoo long after the laser application). I fully believe Shelley’s estimate that my tattoo would have been gone after only 2 more sessions with the same laser Removery uses. In contrast, Removery took less than 15 minutes on the actual table with the laser, cost 50% more, and told me I would need 10-14 more sessions for a simple black and white line drawing to be removed! Additionally, I could tell while on the table that the technician didn’t actually trace over each individual line like Shelley did—just kind of focused on a few darker lines but mostly skimmed the general area where the tattoo was. Plus, the aftercare instructions from Removery were alarmingly different from the ones I had received at Ink-B-Gone with the same laser.In short, if you are willing to pay almost twice as much and have it take three to five times as long, but have a socially pleasant removal experience, go to Removery. Otherwise, fly to DIA and see Shelley at Ink-B-Gone and be wildly impressed on every level. Sorry :(

I am completely satisfied already, and have had only 2 treatments. The fading I got from one treatment is just mind blowing. The sweet lady that does my laser removal told me it looks like Ive already had 4 treatments with the fading I have had. I walked in and was greeted quickly, the whole process of getting set up as a client took around 20 min and I was able to get fit in for a treatment right away. Im sure thats not always the case, but the tech was super accommodating and made it happen. The area is very nice and clean and their equipment is top of the line! I never write reviews, but after my experience with Invisible Ink I just have to! I had my first treatment yesterday and I was nervous. Originally I was going to use one of those tattoo removal creams but after reading terrible reviews about pain, scarring, and them just not working (one was $900 and did even have a guarantee. FYI Invisible Ink has a great satisfaction guarantee policy) I decided to give them a call and see what they were about. Just as promised in my consultation it was super quick (less than a minute!) and painless (their advertised pain scale (grandpa nuggie) is very accurate) , honestly getting your eyebrows waxed hurts more. For about an hour afterwards it just felt like I had a very mild sunburn, but they send you home with an ice pack to relieve that discomfort. The staff at the Overland Park location is not only nice but highly professional and personable, they go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable from start to finish. So I had this idea of getting a few tattoos removed. Upon searching the interwebs I came across Removery - Tattoo Removal & Fading, I believe thats the full name of this business. I start to get this tingle of excitement that I might get the help I need with my tattoo dilemma. Booking an appointment was simple & easy as birthday cake, did it all online in about two shakes of a lambs tail. The day comes for my consultation, & at this point Im feeling like a spring chicken on a lovely sunny day.The whole experience was fantastic! From the time I was greeted, checked in, filling out paperwork & had the removal process described in detail; The staff was professional & very friendly. No pressure or any of that nonsense. Once all the explaining & financial details were squared away it was off to have a spot check (I think thats the term?) to see how Id react to the removal process. See, I was worried that I might cry a little or get squeamish when it was go time but when that laser started blasting I took it like a champ! No tears or crying uncle! In all seriousness it wasnt bad at all Ive had pinkie toe cramps worse than that. BOOM BANG POW done in 3.47 minutes! Just kidding but it wasnt long at all. Ill be going back in a few weeks to start my full removal process, cant wait! I love the staff, they are awesome! The office is always clean. I originally only gave a 3-star because my first few sessions was with a PICO laser that targeted blue & greens ink better then black ink and I was understanding that it worked good for all colors. I have very dense black tribal tattoo. So, I had concerns about my tattoo not being completely removed. Last fall, they switched to a different PICO laser that is supposed to target black ink better. But I was re-assured that they will work with me to make sure my ink is gone!

DO NOT BUY THE PACKAGE without reading! This place had a great business model, great facility, knowledgeable personal staff, top of the line equipment. But, when I went for my initial consult, they wanted to sell me a package for $3500, in which i would get a certain amount of treatments in 18 months and have a guarantee to be ink free.They were able to offer several options of payments, etc. and told me how this would give me a discount. I decided to just have one treatment to see what results I could get.It cost $500 for one session and I havent been back for a year because life got in the way, but the thing is, my tattoo continued to fade over the course of the year due to my body slowly metabolising the ink that the laser busted apart (google it).I will just need maybe one more appointment and will be good, having paid $1000 rather than $3500. If I would have gotten the package I would have had a lot of unnecessary treatments and cost.Everyones tattoo and skin is different but you might just try one session with some patience and see how it goes!

I’m about a little more than halfway through my treatment experience and the staff with each treatment have always been very kind, efficient, and especially very professional. I would absolutely recommend this location if you are considering removal.

I made the mistake of getting an abusive mans name tatted across my entire hand. About 9 mos. later I wanted it off. I first went to a very reputable tatoo parlour to inquire about covering it up. It was so new and so dark that the owner actually suggested removal and referred me to Invisible Ink.I made an appt. for a free consultation and all the information I needed and wanted to know was given to me. I chose the package option which in my case was approximately $1400 for 100% removal in 8 treatments. I was not expecting it to be so much but I wanted that monsters name off my hand so bad I told her to sign me up.I was offered a payment plan and was prepared to put $300 cash down for first payment but get this, since it is a medical procedure I was able to use my Flex Benefits card and paid the entire fee up front. I was very happy to put my cash right back in my pocket.Now its a couple years later and Ive passed my 8th treatment, just getting my 15th. I came to find out the hand is a bit more difficult place to remove from because it dont naturally get good blood flow. The beautiful part with the package deal the guarantee means if it takes more than the predicted amount of treatments you dont spend any extra money. They hold true to their guarantee and when I looked at the pictures of before my 1st treatment compared to before my 15th I was blown away by the difference. I had forgotten how dark and bold my tatoo was in the beginning. Its almost gone.I hope youve read my review far enough for me to brag on the top notch customer service Ive received each and every time from every single lady at the clinic. When I say top notch I mean best ever from anywhere in my 46 yrs. of life. Its so genuine. Its not like they have anything to gain from being so professional, caring, compassionate, and super nice because my package was paid for a long time ago. They must make it a point to hire the best of the best. If everybody had as good of customer service as Invisible Ink I believe this world would be a much more peaceful place to exsist in.We all make stupid mistakes in life and most of them cannot be fixed. I am so very grateful to Invisible Ink for making it possible for me to fix this one. WORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY!!!
