Miles is amazing! I’ve been going here for years! Everyone is super friendly and nice! The place is very clean! Probably the cleanest shop I’ve been too!! The shop is old school so there’s a bunch of flash sheets on the ceilings and artists artwork on the walls! Really feels like a tattoo shop! My artist Miles Deoring has done many of my tattoos and he’s the reason I keep coming back! He does incredible work! I definitely recommend Miles!

Love this place! Everyone is super friendly and truly focused on customer satisfaction. Ive been a couple of times and will definitely be back for more ink from Sierra J! She does the best fine lines and stippling!

I got my nose and septum pierced by Cara and she was amazing! Made me feel super comfortable through the whole process and helped ease my nerves greatly. She was super friendly and did a great job! It was also only $80 total before tip which was great!

Got 2 black tattoos from Jake a year ago. One was his original design one was not. He was quick and his tattoos felt like butterfly kisses. A year later it still looks great. Came back again from Florida and got another one on my shin last week. Another of his original designs, love it. Looks great and didn’t hurt at all. Definitely will go back again. I recommend this artist and shop 10/10. Also everyone that works there is nice and the bathrooms were clean af. Both times. Posted pics are his 2 originals

I am so so happy with my new ink! Kennedy Cole got me right in. He listened to EVERY little detail I requested and delivered FAR above my expectations after asking MANY other artists who repeatedly turned my idea down. He is such a sweet, kind artist and that isn’t always easy to find anymore. This was my first visit to the shop and I was thoroughly impressed with the all over vibe and cleanliness. I cannot wait to come back to Kennedy!

Did a great job on my DONT LAUGH tattoo I got, pretty much on my pelvis. Did it exactly how I wanted, lined it up perfectly it was a painful spot but he got it done quick but still perfect linework. Gave detailed Instructions for the 2nd skin, and the tattoo healed up perfect 👌 all for a decent price too! I was regularly going to 2 other shops which were not available that late at night, I was skeptical about a new shop but these guys were laid back and professional. Highly recommend!

All around great place to get some work done at. Came in and felt a family atmosphere and everything was super clean: everyone was normal and not overly friendly

Got eyebrow and snakebites here on separate occasions, turned out pretty good, I am curious what metal is used for the piercing jewelry though

I’ve gotten 7 or 8 tattoos here over the past few years and have never been disappointed. Every artist is insanely talented, kind, and helpful. The atmosphere is great, you’ll leave satisfied!

Extremely clean and sanitary build out. From the ceiling to the floors everything is cleaned and sanitized many times throughout the day by insanely talented artists. They not only strive for excellence in cleanliness but in their art and how they lay it down. Many different artists with many different styles to choose from. All equally talented from tip to end. When I choose a tattooist I look for big portfolios with lots of examples. Working Class has every box checked off that anyone should be looking for when deciding on an artist and said art. Like I tell everyone though look through portfolios and if nothing tickles your fancy walk away and look somewhere else. In the end it is a lifetime commitment so always look for clean and sanitary along with great artists that care. Just like Working Class Tattoo.

Came in today as a walk-in to get my earlobes repierced after having had them closed up for many years. It was a great experience, Im very impressed. Everyone was very friendly and professional.The piercer was very good at her job, the piercing itself hurt less than getting blood drawn at a doctors appointment. The shop was clean and had lots of cool art on the walls.I would definitely come back for more piercings should I ever decide on getting some more, and Im very interested in their tattoo work as well.

Very nice people and welcoming. However my friends and I went in for the same tattoo and the one I got ended up not looking like my friends at all. We asked for constellation stars and mine just looks like a bunch of x’s. Very sad about it. If you go here to get a tattoo with friends ask for one artist to do them.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! I got my industrial done for the first time ever. The piercer was so nice and so sweet. They made sure I was comfortable with everything that was going on. It was the best experience ever. Then after I was able to get a matching tattoo and they were so great! They had time even though it was last minute. I would definitely come back as I was very pleased with the vibe and the way they handle clients! I’ll so come back!

Saw Racheal for a walk-in nose piercing, and had a great experience. She was professional, friendly, and explained the process well. Everything was clean and sanitary. The other staff I interacted with were super nice, too. Highly recommend Working Class Tattoo!

I came for one of their Friday the 13th discount specials and was so impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff during such an unimaginably hectic day. The shop was immaculately clean and everyone I interacted with was incredibly outgoing and friendly. My heart goes out to the artists on crazy shifts like that and they made the experience so lovely for all of us clients. Please go support these folks!

I’ve been coming here before the pandemic. Jake has tattooed me multiples times and everytime never fails to exceed my expectations! He works with me always on price and I enjoy our conversations while getting tattooed. I highly recommend this shop to anyone. All of the Artists and front man are very kind and cool people.

We were trying to get some piercings and accidentally took too long at dinner and most places were either closed or their piercers were out. We called Working Class and they were super friendly and said their piercer was in! She was awesome, very professional, asked for consent plenty, and it was just all around a great experience.

This is the only place I get my tattoos done. They’ve done about 20 for me in the last year and a half. Jake McReynolds has done most of them and he is the best! Always gives me what I ask for, beautiful color and line work. I get tons of complements on his stuff. Fairly priced and professional. It’s a fun shop to spend your time getting inked!

Working Class Tattoo was awesome Heidi did my tattoo she did a great job. My daughter got her first tattoo there too Miles did an amazing job she was very nervous he explained everything to her just an awesome group of people. Took my 11 year old to watch as she is an aspiring artist they let her look around and watch the entire process. I will be going back for sure.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE WORKING CLASS TATTOOS!! They do AMAZING ink work, all of my tattoos have been done here (by Eddie) and so have my sisters (by Heidi). Took my daughter tonight for her first piercing by (Rachel) and my brother in law for some ink (by Myles), because I KNOW were in good hands. Also my mom, my sister, and I got new piercings. Would definitely recommend! Just discovered this awesome place. Went yesterday for a 2nd nose piercing & also an ear piercing. This tattoo shop is such a nice vibe & service seems to be timely and also very friendly. I will definitely be back!!!

The staff was very friendly and professional. My best friend and I went in to get our noses pierced and her daughters ears repierced. I was a little anxious as I hate needles but really wanted it done. The piercer, I wish I had gotten her name, was very patient and explained everything she was going to do and then talked me through the piercing as she was doing it (because my eyes were definitely closed). The process was super quick, barely any pain at all, and reasonably priced. After we were all done she explained after care for each of our piercings and answered any other questions we had. I would definitely go back for any future piercings.

I went here to get my first tattoo as a walk in. They were able to get me in immediately. Jake was my artist and he made sure the design was what I wanted, and that it would look good. Because it was my first one, he gave me a really good explanation of how it was going feel and how I needed to take care of it. He kept things really light hearted and fun and it really calmed my nerves. I will definitely be going back there!

Very impressed! I went in for a cartilage piercing with Tara and she was incredible. She walked me through everything she would do and was very professional. Got us right in for a couple walk in tattoos. Friendly staff and welcoming environment. Long story short, if youre in Lawrence KS and wanting to get a walk-in tattoo, dont waste your time and make the drive over to KC to Working Class. Lawrence KS tattoo shops have no clue what walk in means or having dedicated walk in artists. Most werent even open on a Saturday afternoon. We werent looking for cheap necessarily and our tattoos were literally 2 letters, but Working Classs shop minimum was half that of Lawrence shops. Other shops should be taking notes from Working Class. Will definitely stop back in when visiting. Thanks!

My friends and I came to KC on vacation, walked into Working Class, and got a helix, conch, and tragus pierced. Rachel did an AMAZING job - the piercings were perfectly placed and professionally done. Ive had a lot of ear piercings done, and this tragus was by far the easiest. Rachel was perfect. Get your piercing done here.

I love this tattoo shop, everyone is so friendly here. I recommend this shop to everyone I know. My favorite person here is Tara she does the piercings. She gave me my dermals on my chest and removed them for me when I was done with them. She was a pleasure to work with both times even with the pain! She made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The people at working class tattoos are all amazing and awesome artists. They are very clean and professional with their art work. And I recommend anyone to get an tattoo their. Went in yesterday to get my first ever ear piercing and everyone there was incredibly nice. I was really nervous and they made me feel super comfortable and did an awesome job! Will definitely be back in the future!

The only place I’ve gotten tattooed since living in the KC metro. Eleven done so far and many to go. I’ve gotten tattooed by almost all of the artists and each one I’ve been blown away by. Heidi has done the majority of the ones I’ve gotten and she’s amazing! Also, the get what you get tattoos are more than worth it!

Got my septum pierced here and the piercer was super nice! He even took into account that I have a Medusa piercing and used a smaller septum ring so they wouldnt clash. He was really nice and made the whole experience really fun. Totally recommend!

Jake McReynolds is one of the best tattoo artists Ive ever had put art on my body. Also, everyone that works at that shop are legends. I know its Kansas City and there are tons of very talented artists at every shop in this city, and generally speaking, the volume and quality that the area produces is kind of baffling and incredibly respectable and rediculous.

I came in with my two sisters to get pierced and let me just say Tara (the piercer) was AMAZING!!!! She walked us through every step and used lots of humor to calm our nerves. I got my tragus done and it looks so great! My two sisters got a belly piercing and nose piercing. Ugh we will definitely be going back here it it was 10/10!

This is the best piercing place. Drove all the way from Olathe to go here for my 10g conch piercing (top one). Spent an hour talking to the piercing, she was great (named Tara)! I will definitely be going back for all my piercing needs. Next I will probably get a tattoo done.

Stopped in last minute 45 minutes before they closed and Heidi had no problem squeezing my tattoo in for me. She did an amazing job at sketching out the short quote and lotus flower I wanted and did an even more amazing job doing the tattoo. Then she even added a bit of color for me and also basically did a cover up fix of a tiny tattoo I already had.Even though it is a smaller tattoo the price she gave me was a bit cheaper than I expected with the words and color. So of course I gave her a really good tip, not that I can afford it bc I definitely cant and I shouldnt have even of gotten the tattoo in the first place...but Heidi seemed like an awesome, young artist who deserved it and I believe itll come back to me two-fold someday anyways. :)I was also so happy to finally find a nice, clean shop with friendly workers who are willing to work with you so that you get what you want. Im still nearly tattooless and the ones I do have are small...but now maybe I just found myself a permanent shop and I would love to have Heidi do more work on me.
