I got the pleasure of being tattooed by Daz :):) so I showed her two different pictures, one I liked the design of the leaves, the second one I liked the placement and size better. She drew up an idea, a mixture of both and it was so perfect. She executed what I wanted PERFECTLY. If I wanted any changes she was open to changing it up and changing up the drawing. She wasn’t heavy handed and the tattoo barely hurt whatsoever, and it was a fairly big tattoo on my forearm/wrist. I will definitely be coming back to her for any other tattoos I get!!!Also, the studio is so nice and really feels like an authentic tattoo shop. The other artists were super chill and seemed very nice and welcoming. They handled the other customers very nicely and I have absolutely nothing to complain about!

Came as a walk-in for a second lobe piercing for my daughter and from start to finish could not be happier. Mike is very knowledgeable and professional. He answered all of our questions and educated us on after care. The vibe of the whole place is fun and welcoming and they play great music. I would recommend to anyone with kids with sensitive ears!

Atomic tattoo shop is the only place I’ll get tattoos done! Daz is my artist and she’s the best! Many of my friends and my boyfriend get tattooed at this shop due to the tremendous skill of the artists and how great they make the experience! Daz has done many pieces of mine, here are a few:

Got my first tattoo here. The artist was rude and his work was sloppy. He kept having to go out for smoke breaks; very annoying. Now I have a sloppy tatted hello kitty… not worth the price AT ALL. If your shop minimum is going to be $100, the least you can do is make it look nice! Especially a small tattoo! There are way cheaper and BETTER tattoo shops in Lakeland than here. Save your money.

We took our 5 y/o daughter here this past weekend, and I am so glad we made the trip (from Brandon to Lakeland). Mike was so patient, reassuring, and encouraging with her, from beginning to end. Despite really wanting earrings, she had some nervousness and tears, but he got her through it with ease. Would recommend him to anyone wanting to get their little ones ears pierced.

I had a Daith piercing. Atmosphere is relaxed. Everyone is nice. Prep for piercing was professional. Mike did an amazing job. I plan to come back in about a month for the other ear.

We went to Atomic this week to have our 1 year old daughter’s ears pierced. We had heard great things about Mike and he did not disappoint. He was very nice, patient with us, and explained everything he was going to do before it was done. The explaining process was much longer than the actual piercing and we appreciated the information. Hands down this is where you should go to have your child’s ears pierced and make sure to make an appointment with Mike!

Went in today to get my Tragus pierced by Mike and he was amazing!! He was quick, informative and very welcoming. 10/10 service. Would recommend him to anyone for a piercing!

Had a spur of the moment idea of wanting this tattoo. No specific design just let them within an arrow. Got with Robert about my idea, had an appointment same day within the next 30 minutes. Showed up, he came up with this design which I absolutely love. And within an hour we were in from start of paperwork to finished and out the door. Highly recommend! Awesome experience and personal since I had my 6 year old daughter with me as well. Even made her a stencil and put it on since she wanted a tattoo too. Awesome experience from first walking in the door. Will definitely be back!

Had an amazing experience getting my first piercing! Dorian made me feel super comfortable, explaining everything he was doing and empathizing with me throughout the process. Highly recommend!

Went in to get a septum piercing. The usual piercer, Mike (who is AWESOME btw), wasn’t there. It was Dorian. After he pierced me, I realized it was incredibly crooked. He offered to redo it. I was hesitant but still determined so I agreed. After he was done, he looked at me and goes “that looks even worse.” I was so upset and frustrated I was nearly tearing up lol. He said septum’s are a “difficult” piercing…maybe look into a different profession.

Got my second holes, redone. Mike the piercer was great, he explained the process, and he does not use a piercing gun. I also got a tattoo that I love. Super busy shop, one thing I did not like was I stood at the counter for literally an hour before anyone acknowledged me. I understand everyone was busy, but several people looked at me, and no one said, Hi, we will be with you as soon as we can . I was about to walk out when an artist finally said, has anyone helped you? Other than that, good shop

My artist was absolutely amazing. From the minute I walked in I felt comforable with Spivey as my artist. It seemed to hurt less than other tattoos. He was very precise and thorough. I felt like he was very sanitary and I would recommend Spivey any day of the week for body art! He did this beautifully done spider web on my neck quick and fairly painless!

Avoid this place, my previous artist retired and moved out of state I figured they would be safe since the shop has been around for some time in Lakeland the artist ended up scarring me from overworking but tried to gaslight me into thinking I had an ink allergy or aquired an infection and that’s why my ink sloughed off in strings 😅 since then I’ve had second opinions and color patch testing with zero issues will NEVER go back or recommend them now I’m having to pay even more for color correction services/cover up and yes I communicated with the artist during the entire process and even after let him know about the second opinion with color patch test passing just fine just to get no acknowledgment or anything. Please don’t make the same mistakes as me

I walked into the shop and explained my desired tattoo to the tattoo artist Kylie. She did an amazing job and it turned out exactly how I had imagined it. I am extremely pleased with the outcome and will definitely be returning for future tattoos.

Unlike most she really takes the time to make sure you get exactly the tattoo you want and really does listen. She’s super nice and I just can’t recommend her enough!

We took our 7 month old to get her ears pierced a couple weeks ago, Mike was awesome he talked to her and made us all feel comfortable and prepared us as parents for what to expect. I came in as a walk-in piercing. Michael was my piercer and he was the nicest guy. I felt very comfortable and in good hands. I received an intimate piercing from him. He spoke to me about my improper practice of my Christina. So I will definitely ONLY be pierced by Michael. He was very professional and I didn’t feel uncomfortable undressing for a stranger with him.

I got this piece to remember my best friend I lost her nickname is beautiful disaster and her middle name was Rose we both love roses I got it done about 3 weeks ago! I love it everyone there is really nice and they do great work!

We went in late on a Friday night for new piercings and luckily were met by Mike! We were a little nervous because we’ve had bad piercing experiences before, but Mike made everything simple and friendly. We were greeted by the tattoo artists upon entry while Mike finished with other customers. Once he was available he explained the process to us, got our paperwork taken care of quickly, took us in the back and finished 5 piercings quicker than we expected. The man easily has the fastest hands in Florida and is very efficient, didn’t even feel the needle coming out and the jewelry going in. I’d recommend this shop for piercings as long as Mike is still doing them!

I went to get a piercing and passed out, next thing I know literally everyone that worked there was around me making sure I am doing alright offering me sweets and all! I got my belly button pierced by mike and he did so good. it looks super cute. also, i felt lightheaded after and he ran to get me some water and bubblegum! he was really nice. i also thought it was going to be more expensive and it wasn’t, only 72 and that’s because i added on a 13 dollar saline solution bottle. 5 stars for sure.

Infant ear piercing with Mike W was phenomenal. We looked in tampa and lakeland and every piercer said go to Mike at lakeland atomic. Now we get why. He explained every step of the way, everything was so clean and professional, he made it quick and easy, and not a single bit of redness or infections post for our kid. 10/10.

I got my nipples pieces by Mike today and they look amazing. He was kind and professional and it actually didn’t hurt. If I ever get anymore piercings I’ll be coming back here.

I got both traguses pierced. I recommend him for piercings. Michael was great from beginning to end. He was kind, made us feel at ease, detailed in explaining things, was quick and swift in his work to minimize pain, and did a nice job in the appearance of the piercing. Price included jewelry which made it comparable to other suggested rates.Other reviews had concerns that were not my experience there: Michael greeted us kindly and promptly. He and other staff also greeted and welcomed other customers (one with a piercing concern, two walk in tattoos) while we were doing paper work. Michael was relaxed and walked me through the process and interacted with us in playful kind ways. I did see a review that he “put on gloves and then searched through all the drawers”…and that would have been my concern too IF my sister wasn’t there and saw him change his gloves a second time right before handling my ears and piercing…I missed it because my head was turned but she was on it (big sister style) and he was sanitary and thorough! I even instinctually touched the piercings after (don’t do it!) and he garbed up again to clean them for me.

Today I took my daughter in to get a double nose piercing. A very nice gentleman greeted us as soon as we came in and gave his full attention to listen to why we were there and offered helpful advise and knowledge. Mike did the piercings and was very professional, polite and patient. He walked us through the procedure and then took his time explaining the aftercare after he did the piercings. Mike did an awesome job and was very quick!! We will definitely be back and I definitely recommend this place!!

Mike was a very professional piercer and I will only be going to him from now on. I have had really bad experiences with other shops around so I decided to go to atomic because i heard a lot of good stuff about them. He is very experienced and makes you feel comfortable and assured. My piercing did not hurt afterwards and I haven’t had any bad pain or early signs of there being something wrong, I have never gotten a piercing done so well. I was a little nauseous after getting mine done because of the adrenaline and he would not take a customer until he knew for sure I was okay! Very excellent service and amazing experience :) made me feel very comfortable

Very good experiences here, several times. It’s clean, they play cool music, and the artists are friendly. I’ve been for two tattoos and my girlfriend has been for a nose piercing. They remember you here and treat you like you’re important, which is sometimes rare in a tattoo shop. Branden gives me honest opinions, creative ideas, and makes me feel comfortable, like family. Highly recommend, from an experienced tattoo collector!

I took my 7 month old daughter there to get her ears pierced and Mike did an amazing job! Before piercing her ear he was very informative about how it was going to happen, how they sanitize everything, and why the placement of the earring in babies is where it is. He was quick and very good with her. I would never take my baby to Claire’s or anywhere else. This place uses a very sharp needle so it is less painful for the baby and it also heals faster. I highly recommend!

I’ve had piercings done here before and had no problems at all(which is why i’m giving 2 stars bc if i could give 0 for this experience i would) . My friends have had tattoos done here and they healed beautifully, but i got a tattoo 2 weeks ago and it is blown out. It isn’t even close to healed, the tattooed skin is elevated and extremely dry and it’s just obvious that it was not done properly, it is SCARRED . The fact that i spent over $100 on this tattoo just for it to end up looking like this 2 weeks later is extremely outrageous. I have 10 other tattoos most of which are way larger than this one and they healed in less time. This is ridiculous.

It was amazing! My tattoo artist Brandyn was highly recommended. We had great conversation. He loved when I said use your imagination and make it pretty! All the rest of the staff were friendly too. Very clean & professional business. Im in love with my new water color peace sign!☮

I came in the minute they unlocked the doors. They quickly finished getting set up and got me in and out for my piercing. Mike was friendly, knowledgeable and kind. Him and his apprentice Becca were amazing. Never did I feel nervous, because Mike explained everything that was going to happen. After, I was given clear instructions and encouraged multiple times to call or stop by at any time if I had any questions or concerns.

Good vibes amongst all the artists and customers. Got Ink done by Dave, hes a walking art piece and a cool dude to sit and talk to. My tattoo turned out Sick, great place.

Staff was courteous and worked quickly. My nostril was quick and virtually painless, like a 3/10 on the pain scale. Piercer Mike was friendly and I felt reassured. Super quick, super sterile. Would definitely return eventually for the forward helix I want.

This place and the people were amazing!! The peircer was so fast and gentle at the same time. They make you feel comftable and there very down to earth! They didnt have a buy 2 peircings get one free that day but ill be back and pay for my next 😂😂😂 thanks guys

The staff was amazing. Like literally they showed me what was going to happen and they talked me through it. The guy who did it was really gentle and told me what to do to keep up with it. Everybody is really nice. And I definitely recommend going there for piercings and tattoos. I am 14 years old and just got my helix done. They are awesome!

Went there to fix a tattoo and all he did was make it worse. Looks like a child did it all uneven lines and bad coloring. This place is horrible. Went back two times to fix his mistake and he is never there. Manager didn’t care and said only that the guy who did it could try and fix it. What a joke!!!!! The tattoo guys are all very arrogant and rude felt very uncomfortable there. Will never go back and don’t recommend this place to anyone. All I got was a terrible tattoo and ripped off for $200. STAY Away!!!!!!!!

I loved it there, I got a tattoo to cover some scars. They were so kind. It was my first tattoo. They were very clean and my artist was very patient if I needed a break. I highly recommend this place. They arent over priced at all. This is only 3 days old its healing very well and the colors will be even more vibrant once it fully heals. I am so happy I have this beautiful tattoo. Thank you Atomic tattoo!

A day after my tattoo I noticed corners were cut and details were left out. May have been not big enough to get all details but I should have been told this before the artist kept going. I have 5 highly detailed tattoos so I know good lines, and I didnt get that. Im not upset at the tattoo not coming out right, Im upset that they didnt talk to me before making their own call and skipping parts and making something up. I pay for what i want and you need to talk to me if you cant do it, not do your own thing on my skin. Now i have to hopefully get it fixed.

Came in to have my daughters nose pierced. We met Becca who was amazing! She was so cool and funny, we absolutely loved her! She talked us through the whole process and kept mom calm lol. If you’re in the Lakeland area I definitely recommend them!

Good work but prices are higher than they should be. Also took an Uber all the way there. It cost 15 dollars and when I get there I could not be helped due to about 10 children in there getting piercings and a couple of tattoos. I could not be helped and what I got was too small anyway I had to catch an Uber back empty handed!! I need a more Mature tattoo shop. Anybody know a more Mature tattoo shop with decent prices??

Mike Torres is amazing! Love him! My son passed away in Dec. 2016, and my daughter and I have gone to him several times to have tattoos done, that my son drew. He drew them exactly like my son had. He listened , and my daughter and I are incredibly happy with them!! He is a genuine, great , caring person!

Got my nose pierced by Art today and it was such a delightful experience!! He was super nice and funny, kept us entertained the whole time! Definitely made the actual piercing less scary. I will 100% be back there super soon!!!!

I’ve now had two bad experiences with the lakeland shop, i went to brandon for my first nose piercing and they were great but the lakeland shop is another level of terrible, my sisters and i were going to get tattoos for my youngest sister’s birthday, they said they don’t take appointments, fine, whatever, they just told us to come in whenever so we did. at that point they told us to call back in in a couple hours as they were busy at the moment. we did and they said to call back tomorrow, reiterating that they don’t take appointments. we didn’t bother at that point. most recently a couple days ago i went in to get my lip pierced, the people behind the counter stared at me and my friend and never even offered to help us. a couple of the guys back there were tattooing people but not all of them were, they were just talking to their coworkers. i waited for a solid ten minutes with no response before i turned to leave, and my friend asked if i wanted to at least schedule an appointment with them lol. oh well

After waiting 8 hours outside for the Friday the 13th deal we got turned away because the artist were tired, which is expected and understandable, however we were told that we could come back the next day and they would honor the deal since we waited so long and had nothing to show for it, I came in today to get turned away again “we’re doing our last one right now” is what we were told even tho yesterday they said they’d be tattooing until 10. I understand getting tired after doing a lot of tattoos but why promise something then go against it.

I went to see Sarah Sunshine at Atomic Saturday for a scheduled appointment. Not only was I welcomed and made comfortable right away, but a five hour session flew by because of her and the staff. It was a great experience, a beautiful cover up piece, and I cant wait to go back and see them for more artwork. Nice job, guys!

Awesome shop! Any time I have been in it not only looks clean but smells clean too. Last time I was in my husband and I got tattoos by Mike and he did a fantastic job. The staff is great and we definitely plan on going back in the future!

Went to Atomic Tattoo in Lakeland for a sporadic walk in.I’ve gotten piercings here previously and they had been amazing ! so i went to get a tattoo from them with this trust in mind. I got told i would be charge 160$ for a cow maybe the size of 4 quarters on my arm thought that was a little steep but went for it. My healing process was awful and the artist who did my tattoo scarred me. I’ve always went to Holy Grail down the road for my tattoos and have NEVER had this issue so just make a trip up the road because it isn’t worth it to have a tattoo done by these artists.

I got a cover up by Brandyn and am incredibly happy with the work done. Everyone there was so nice. Because I’ve only had the opportunity to be tattooed by Brandyn, he’s who I can confidently recommend. I’m sure no matter to you get though, you’ll be happy.

Art was a great person to get my tattoo done. Super funny and easy to work with. I gave him an idea and he took it and made a beautiful piece out of it and was patient with what I wanted! I recommend all my friends to go and get their tattoos done by him and I’ll 100% be back!!

Got my Medusa pierced back in March but I lost the ball to my piercing recently. Walked in got a new ball and was out in less than 5 minutes. Amazing service, great people working there. Can’t beat it. Thank you guys!!

So I only have one tattoo at the moment and I wanted to go in and see about getting a new one. These guys in here, who I’m sure are awesome tattoo artist, seem to have an air about them that they didn’t have time for me at all I tried talking to them about setting up a time and everyone just kept saying they where booked and really didn’t seem to care at all about trying to help me. If these people are so busy that they can just blow new customers off like that then I guess good for them but I was not satisfied at all with the service that I saw and I’ll just find another shop to go to for this.

Best experience ever! Everyone In lakeland kept charging me $50 to reopen my belly piercing I came over to a really sweet guy name Art at this location and I told him I wanted to re pierce my belly and told him it had only been 2 months with it being closed and he said “don’t worry I am an honest man and that job is only done for $20.00”Aside from him not wanting to over charge me he did a great job!! Great place! Came to do my Tragus piercing with Mike, he was extremely knowledgeable, nice, explained the whole process with a smile, i couldnt done it at another place with the same level of professionalism. MIKE you are the best!

I got both nipples done and the piercer was so chill he took all my anxiety. The pain wasn’t half as bad as it could have been had he not been so professional. Came back two weeks later and got my first dermal. This will be the only place I got from now on or I’ll follow Michael wherever he ends up

I was very nervous about the pain aspect of my first tattoo, but Mike reassured me and it was all fine. He did a wonderful job and everyone always compliments the art. 5 stars for sure!!!

I’ve stopped here three times in the last week (it’s on my way to work) between 12 and 1 and all 3 times the doors are locked and lights off. Kinda weird way to run a business. Should change your hours on here if you’re not open at 12. Found another shop that’s actually open when they advertise 🤷‍♀️

Love this tattoo place, every artist here is very talented and one did a custom piece for me and came out amazing 👏 they are very busy but that just shows that this place is thriving because of the experience and pride that they take in their work.

My friend and I went here to get a matching tattoo on a random Wednesday night and unlike all the other tattoo shops I called, atomic was open and very happy to help us!!! Brandon and Dave gave us our tattoos and were so wonderful and funny!!!! If you are looking for a great shop to get your next ink...go to atomic and ask for Dave and Brandon, they are awesome!!!

Art was the piercer who helped me. He was not at all informative. He said he was the best but the piercings I have arent at a natural angel so theres constant bumps around them and he doesnt have social media to stay in contact. I wont be coming back.

I got a piece done there today. My tattoo artist Danny did a unreal job on it. He communicated with me for days in advance and answered all questions. Shop was super clean and the rest of the staff was very welcoming. Overall great experience. Thanks guys!

My mom and I were walk-ins to get dermal piercings on our backs and even though it was a busy time Art took us back right away and got us done no problem! The piercing area was clean and Art was super professional!! I would definitely go back!

Both artists are exceptionally talented, and the price was right. Always recommend them to anyone who needs work done. Dont bother with the lakeland mall tattoo parlor or the one down the street, Atomic is the only reliable tattoo shop.

Went there to replace my nose ring and the piercer had ran to store so I had to wait for him. It took about 20 minutes. After he came in he asked what type of jewelry I needed and went to the back to get it. After returning he showed me my choices, in his bare hands. I reached to touch the piercing and he pulled back his hands and said I couldn’t touch. I looked at my friend and he said “is it a problem” “do I need to explain why you can’t touch it” rudely. I payed with my card and after he used it,he through it down. Never going back because the customer service is definitely important and I didn’t notice any at all.

Great experience. Went in for simple cartilage piercing and was surprised at level of attention and detail. Thought it was just stab and go but he really took his time and explained everything, very sterile and on top of the game.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I went in to only get my nose piercing swapped for a hoop. Their piercer had no idea what the hell she was doing. She couldnt even get out my current stud. Once she ripped it out, which hurt a lot, she was going through dirty cabinets and drawers w her gloves on completely disregarding the fact theyre supposed to be sanitary. She also waited to put the hoop in leaving time for my nose to keep swelling. She couldnt get it in and had to get someone else in the shop to help who effed me up even more. He completely repierce my nose and put me through so much pain being an idiot. I would have rather it closed up than get a nasty scar AND infection on my nose a week later. I have never regretted anything more and would not recommend this unsanitary place to anyone. Not to mention theyre pretty damn rude.

I’ve had 2 piercings and one tattoo done at this location and I will recommend this place to EVERYONE . They are the only people I trust with something so permanent! I just recently got a piercing and Cori was very informative and answered every question that I had. 5 STARS!!!!!!

I went up there for the Friday the 13th deal. Wad up tgere at 10am. Had my friends kid with us, and told them that I needed to let her get done first, and they said ok. When i was ready (5 mins later) they told me (at 430ish) that i would have to go to the back of the line, after i waited for 7 hours!! I had gptten off work that morning and hadnt had any sleep. I had asked why, and they said that it wasnt their problem. I came back after a horrible experience 5 years ago with a piercing. Their customer service skills suck! They made fun of peoples names as they read them off the list, and it was dirty and hot. I will never go back to this place. I wont give a 3rd times a charm.Not to mention my sisters tattoo was rushed, and done sloppy.

I recently went here to get piercings with a friend of mine. My friend got ear piercings and afterwards had complained the left piercing hurt a lot more than the right one. We soon enough realized the piercer had pierced their lobe crooked, with the exit hole near the very bottom outside of the lobe.

Went in for three forward helix piercings. Not one matches the other. All at different angles, not evenly spaced. They should be angled so the back is hidden, but I can see the back of all of the piercings done here. I recommend not getting any piercings done here.

Went in to set up appt and the person at the front desk was very uninterested in my business. Barely acknowledged me and I had to ask to see a certain artist books. Very sad customer service. Work could he great but Ill never find out. First impressions are very important.

Clinton was my and my girlfriends artist and he did a really great job! We were a walk in for matching tattoos (my first and her second pieces), and he was able to make a design and tattoo both of us in 3 hours. Amazing job!

The tattoo young man, i think Mike was his name, is quite a character: funny, easygoing, knowledgeable and puts you right at ease so you arent too nervous.

Art is an amazing person and pericer. He hooked me up and had great conversation I never laughed so much. It was the best experience Iv ever had in a tattoo shop. I highly recommend him I will deffently being going back to him for future pericings. It was by far the best. If you dont go to him then your crazy. Shoose him before anyone else. Very nice dude did my smiley piercing. Had a good conversation with him and he made me less nervous. However, the piercing its self is crooked. Nothings ever perfect but its very noticeable so Im a little unhappy about that.
