I cannot say enough good things about Dani or her shop. I booked my appointment online with ease. All pricing is very clear and up front. The shop was easy to locate and on the corner of a strip mall, meaning that there was a surprising amount of parking.Once at my appointment, the shop was very clean, welcoming, and quaint. The decorations are beautiful and inviting, there is ample seating room, and they even keep water in the back for customers. Alchemy does a great job of providing a welcoming experience whether youre someone seasoned in piercings or new to them.I originally came into my appointment wanting a different service than what I got. Dani did an excellent job of setting realistic expectations, doing a full consultation, and providing recommendations. I ended up going with what she thought and left feeling super happy and pleased.The piercing process is incredibly professional and shows a level of dedication that is worth noting. Everything was incredibly sterile, organized, and professional. Dani also works with a level of efficiency and speed that makes everything as painless as possible. I barely even bled!

Absolutely fantastic Place! i went in today to finish my shark bites and Dannii was awesome. She finished 3 piercings in an hour, and they look fantastic. She was professional and sweet as heck. Exceptionally clean environment, lots of different jewelry options and they are more than happy to work with you. They even offered to change the jewelry out when and if i need too. Its not dirt cheap but well worth the price. Highly recommend coming here.

Lana, Dani, and Brigette all know their stuff and is super helpful. Lana has now done 2 different piercings for me in last year and I buy most my jewelry from them. 5+ stars all across board. I go to alot of artist to get my ink, but will only support this piercing shop in town.

I will never go anywhere else for a piercing. Alchemy is hands down the best. I’ve gotten my nostril, conch, helix, and second earlobe piercings done with Danni and they’ve always done an incredible job. The staff are always professional, welcoming, and extremely kind. My piercings have all healed well and I love the range in jewelry options. Parking is stress-free and the shop is always very clean. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. 💖

Every aspect of my experience at Alchemy today was fantastic! I was greeted warmly and given patience and help when needed to pick out my jewelry (Im a terrible decision maker so it took me some time to settle on my favorite lol). Lana was super sweet and explained every bit of the process as she went along, asking my consent anytime she needed to touch my skin or use an instrument. The aesthetics and decor are *chefs kiss*, and everything was clean, gorgeous, and comfortable. All instruments and tools were sterile and aseptic technique was used to scrub my skin to disinfect prior to piercing. I got my septum done today, but I have a few more on my list I want and I will absolutely be returning. Thank you to all of you beautiful humans for providing an absolutely amazing experience. ☺️❤️

This was my first time here, and my experience at Alchemy was the best out of any piercing place by far! I came in for a jewelry change with my best friend who had a piercing appointment scheduled. I was booked with Dannii and I also had some questions about the possibility of a piercing working with my anatomy. Dannii was so knowledgeable and insightful and we were able to do the piercing while I was there! I watched my friend get her ear pierced with Lana, and both Lana and Dannii made sure we were comfortable and prepared for each step. They also have a wide selection of jewelry and are impeccably clean. They were the kindest and most gentle people, I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Went yesterday to get my 5th & 6th piercing from Alchemy, they also changed jewelry from different piercing. Just like every time before, I am amazed. Lana is the sweetest thing and her communication and focus on consent and informing you during each step is amazing. I can absolutely not recommend them highly enough. Dannii is amazing! She is very informative, kind, and clearly loves what she does. I came here for my very first cartilage piercings and I completely trust her with any piercing I plan on getting in the future. First facial piercing, decided on a septum a long time ago and finally booked my appointment after months of procrastinating it. they were so so thorough and walked me through every step of the process! asked for my consent through everything they had to do and made sure i was comfortable! price wasn’t bad and absolutely worth every penny. loved the shop, everything was so cool but also very sterile and clean! got an email with all of my aftercare as well as saline to clean my piercing. absolutely going back here for all my piercing needs!! recommend to everyone looking for a safe, friendly, and welcoming place to get piercings. they also have impeccable taste in music :)

I got my navel pierced by Lana. They were super informative about the piercing and jewelry. I was able to make my own custom jewelry. It was an overall great experience. I will definitely get all my future piercings from here!

Got my navel pierced in May by Dani. It was the best piercing experience i’ve ever had. She was very sweet and calming. She made sure to explain what she was doing before she did it. She also asked permission to do things which tells me she’s respectful of boundaries. She also gave me saline solution for after care. It’s been about 4 months and my piercing is healing beautifully. I’m definitely coming back for more piercings.

Professional and comfortable piercing studio. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to get a piercing, whether it’s your first time ever or if you’ve had many piercings. Vibe is very eclectic in the best way possible, you feel a sense of comfort and community as soon as you walk in. Everyone was super nice, made sure to explain the process and didn’t mind standing with you and helping pick out jewelry that caught your eye. They were very knowledgeable about the anatomy required for all types of piercings and were honest and communicative about what would and would not work on your body based on anatomy. An added bonus is they can anodize their jewelry to make it any color you like, free of charge! I was nervous about my piercings, but everyone was so nice and really made sure I understood the process and what was happening during each step of the way. I had Dannii do my piercing and they were so kind and knowledgeable, I would recommend them to anyone looking for any piercing. They have such a good understanding of certain styles and designs that would look good on you, so individual and unique! Lana did my friend’s daith and tragus, and she really took her time to make sure everything was perfect and lined up exactly to her standard before she proceeded with anything! Though I live in Maine and was only visiting when I got pierced here, I would definitely travel back down and have Dannii (or Lana) do some cartilage piercings on me because they are just that good!!

Ive been getting pierced for 10+ years and this is by far the best shop Ive ever been to! The jewelry selection is incredible, they ask consent before everything, and the piercers are very knowledgeable. Ive been pierced by Danni and Lanna, and they both made the experience comfortable and fun. Id recommend Alchemy to anyone, whether youre getting your first earlobe piercing or going for a dermal.

Had an old septum piercing that I had taken the jewelry out of 5 years before. Dannii managed to find the old piercing hole and put new jewelry in it without repiercing as it hadn’t closed fully. Awesome experience going here.

I love everything about this place! The decor is tastefully morbid, bones and handcrafted masterpieces in each nook and cranny, there is plenty to check out while you wait!Their jewelry is unique , gorgeous and long lasting!!! ( Ive had a permanent piece in my ear for a year and no lost stones, no skin irritations!)The ladies who own/work here are so thoughtful and attentive and consent is requested at each physical interaction so that I knew exactly what was going to happen and they completely put my daughters anxiety at ease when we brought her in for her first pieces!! ( which is quite a feat!)

Literally the ONLY “complaint” is that they’re tricky to find if you’ve never been there. Otherwise, they’re clean, professional, knowledgeable - overall fantastic! Dani did a few piercings on me, a couple on a friend, as well as my son. Lana was able to accommodate a walk-in jewelry change when one of my piercings swelled more than usual. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to get pierced or update old piercings with new jewelry.

Dannii was phenomenal! Even though this wasnt my first piercing, she took the time to describe the process and after care diligently and ensured any questions and concerns were addressed before I even needed to ask. She was very considerate and kind, making sure placement for both piercings was exactly what I wanted.10/10, would let her shove metal through my face again

I recently got my helix done here and they are amazing! They explained everything to me and I loved that i could pick out the jewelry I wanted. Dannii was super wonderful and kind! If you ever plan on getting more piercings, I would 100% recommend alchemy body piercing. Danni is literally the sweetest. I was so nervous to get my piercing, but the employees had jusy positive and encouraging energy they kept me calm. They have all their certifications on their wall. You get to pick out the jewelry you wear while healing from the jewelry they have in shop bc they carry lots of implant grade titanium. I got mine anodised so theyre rainbow steel, too. (No additional charge and they anodise in shop) They also give you a can of sterile saline solution included with your piercing price and they email you a copy of your aftercare sheet. The shop has the absolute best vibe. Its kinda hard to find tho if you dont know where it is. Apparently my ordeal with my cross threaded tunnel that was stuck for years has been used as a cautionary tale in the shop for over 2 years now 😅 Im so glad I found this shop

I worked with Dani yesterday, receiving two forward helix piercings. She was very professional and explained everything as she was doing it. Went in just to get a new nostril hoop so I cant comment on actually getting pierced. The shop was incredibly clean, quiet, and well-organized. Dannii is the best body piercer in Lexington!! I have trusted her to do numerous piercings on me. She maintains a calm demeanor and helps guide you thru every piercing with clear instructions! The needles are throw aways (single-use only,) and the station is extremely clean with proper hospital grade cleaners. Shes also super knowledgeable if you have questions :) The jewelry options are super cute too! def would recommend to anyone and everyone.

The best piercing shop in town!! Dannii is very good at what they do, from piercing to anodizing custom jewelry, to laying out badass curated ear projects. I trust them with all of my piercing and jewelry needs and wouldnt even consider going anywhere else in town. In addition to all of that, they really made their space look cool on the inside.

In these uncertain times, we were all questioning how some things would be handled due to COVID, but Alchemy has changed their policies to accommodate both employees and customers in healthy and safe ways!Being able to make an appointment for a piercing is super helpful to make sure you get one-on-one time with your piercer so they can provide the customer with any information and choose appropriate jewelry without any distractions, I really appreciated that intimacy! Everyone there is very knowledgeable about all aspects of the piercing experience, and are amazing at catering to either a newbie or someone who wants to further their collection of body modifications.The shop is bright, beautiful and clean! Love the touches of local art, by friends and family of the shop! They have a huge selection of jewelry, some by KY artists too, and a lot of options for ordering if you cant find anything you like! Wesley is one of the most welcoming and wholesome people I know. He’s done two of my tattoos. One on my chest (butterfly half of the wings with healing flowers and the other half natural) and the other tattoo on my entire back (a hand drawn flower bloom with a stem that cascades down my back all the way to the top of my hips) ALL HIS IDEA OFF MY INSPO/THOUGHTS I WAS HAVING. He hand drew both beautifully. He truly takes it time making uniquely perfect to your body. He’s a true artist and takes his craft seriously and has been tattooing for like 10+ years. His style is graceful and bold. I feel grateful and blessed to have found Wesley, I’ll be a forever client if I have it my way. Highly recommend!🤍

I have had over 40 hours of tattoo work done by Wes, and have an immediate family member with multiple piercings by Dannii. Both Wes and Dannii have some of the most beautiful work in their respective areas because of their eye for placement. They are experts at adorning the human body. An amazing shop with amazing piercers. The two piercers I met were super nice when I walked in. The piercer that pierced me was super knowledgeable. The piercers were extremely detailed. My piercings have been healing well. I had a terrible first nose piercing experience years ago.( at another shop) I got my nosed pierced again, and everything is going just fine.

Through the COVID pandemic this company will charge you $50 for having to reschedule an appointment. We spoke with the staff about needing a drivers license and having to get one before the appointment. Little did we know that the DMV is three months out in appointments and not taking but a very few walkins per day. After we couldn’t get the license made and called to inform the place of our issue they proceeded to tell us we would be charged for cancellation less than 24 hours notice. Yet the staff was fully aware that it had taken them 2 months to get theirs made and made no mention when we spoke to them the day before the appointment when we would have had plenty of time to cancel and not be charged the exorbitant fee. Shady business right here. Rather bend people over during COVID to get theirs rather than make a happy customer who would return..

I had my nose pierced at another shop and the ring fell out in my sleep! I went here for help and while they couldnt repierce them right now they were very helpful on what I could do and helped me find a L shaped ring. I took the advice and was able to get it back in. Gay crisis averted! I will definitely be back for future piercings. 😊
