Carolina Custom Tattoos

My husband and I just had out 1st tattoos done with Carolina Custom Tattoos. Christian did my husbands and Soraya did mine. We couldnt be more pleased with the entire experience from consult to customer service to execution of our designs. We didnt know what to expect and the experience was phenomenal. Awesome experience.I called prior to stopping by to make sure they would have time to take me as a walk in. Kyle looked over my idea and drew up the stencil in a timely manner. I don’t even know what to say about this place. The atmosphere was awesome the artists are amazing I could go on but if you want an excellent tattoo this would s the place to go. Make sure you call and book an appointment first though because these guys are awesome!Went back to discuss new ideas for tattoos, first time in their new shop, met their new artists and saw some of their work. The new shop is nice and clean but still has that vibe that says tattoo shop. These guys and gal are still reasonably priced even though they do superb work. Cant wait to get more work done here. Only shop in SC I will let do my tattoos.

I am so impressed with the professionalism of the shop the respect and personal care from the first moment I walked in. They took the time to get to know me and make sure I knew exactly what artwork I wanted and where. Not to forget to mention the actual work itself is absolutely incredible. Ive had two tattoos here so far and all of my future tattoos as long as Im in the state will be done at this shop by the artists that work there because they are amazing!!! Chris is amazing! Any time I start thinking about a new tattoo, hes the artist that comes to mind. I live in NC now but would definitely travel just to get work done by him. Chris has done several tattoos for me and I get complimented on the details of my owl all the time. I LOVE it. Highly recommend Carolina Custom Tattoos and Chris. If you want a cheap, low quality tattoo, go elsewhere. ;-)

Hands down the best artists in town. I have 11 tattoos from both artist Christian and Kyle. I have watched and have had the privilege of knowing Christian since before he had his own shop and now has the best Tattoo shop in town. If your looking for quality, respect, professionalizism and a perfect tattoo this is the place to go!!!

Kyle Dunnuck did my tattoo at Carolina Customs tattoo. I am here to tell you he is very detail oriented and cares about his work. He wants to make sure you get what you want and also puts his own style and thoughts into it. You can tell he does his job with pride. He did a big detailed tattoo on my forearm. It looks really good. I have several tattoos but this is the first Kyle has done for me but he will do my next tattoo for sure. If you want a tattoo that stands out and looks good Carolina Customs is the place too go.

This is the only place Ill ever go back for more ink! I love the atmosphere and they put the customers first. They do everything they can to make them comfortable. The artists are very nice and every time the do an awesome job. Christian has done over half of mine. In my opinion he is the best. If you ever want ink got to Carolina Customs!!

Kyle did an amazing job. I was very specific about what I wanted and the tattoo was extremely detailed. Kyle duplicated it with perfect precision. He is extremely talented and Id recommend him to anyone. Carolina customs is definitely one of the very best in the Columbia area.

Michael aka mumbles did my back piece. And Christian did my stomach. I still get stopped for people to look at their art work! I would highly recommend them as artist! I had a girl come to my job and asked her about her amazing tattoo... Well turns out Michael did that one also! If you want the best this is your place! Great prices and they take the time to do a good job.

I went in to let them know what I wanted, they made me an appointment. When I went back, Kyle had them ready for me to look at and they looked great. He did both in a few hours and they turned out GREAT! I will be going back to him after summer for another one. Great place and very clean. Go in and see these guys!!!

Me and my friend got our tatoo yesterday, they fit us right in. The place was very clean. Really impressed. Owner was polite and funny. Kyle did our tatoos, he was focused and paid attenton to detail. Added bonus kyle is a hottie. We had a great experience would recommend to anyone that asks us where to go.

My rose I had Christian do looks like a straight cabbage. By far the slowest experience I’ve had with a piece. Went to another artist at Tatway because of the price gauging that was going on. I’ve had far better work done in half the time he took. $900 for an unfinished shoulder piece is absurd.

Jam up tattoo shop! These guys know what they are doing. They take the time to learn who the customer is and what it is that you want. Other places Ive been to and have seen first hand there all about the money. At this shop its more they take the time to make sure everything is perfect for that life long decision... Kyle did a great job on my first tat! I will definitely always recommend him. The facility is also very clean and professional, and both Kyle and Christian are easy to get in touch with by phone and/or email. They are both very gifted artists!

Tabitha did a tattoo that took up my whole right calf. It cost $150. Devine st. tattoo wanted $300 to do it. Dark Horse Tattoo wanted $300. Shavons Purple Lotus Body Art wanted $200. I will for sure go back and have Tabitha do more work. I have told my friends and co-workers that this is a great tattoo shop

Kyle did a masterful job on the portrait of my dog. He took his time and the detail was well beyond what I expected for a very fair price.
