I was a walk in right after they opened that afternoon. Ms Katie sat me down and we talked about what I wanted. I showed her a picture and told her “this is the idea, but I want you to have fun with it and make it your own” the first time I saw what she came up with I knew she was gonna take care of me and what I wanted. We were there for a long time just doing line work. She was so patient and understanding about my situation. The line work is absolutely beautiful and I can’t wait to finish it. This is art and I’m now a life time customer.

I took a chance on this place after googling up some tattoo places in Lexington that were open a little late because of my work. I came in about 6:00. I was greeted by Michael who owns the shop. Everyone there was super friendly. It was my very first tattoo and I was really nervous but everybody was funny, so kind and help me to be put at ease.the design I wanted, was amplified into a even better design which Sarah came up with. She was super gentle with me and put me at ease. We had so many conversations about things and she was extra careful with me not to scar me and continuously made a point about that. I loved how she handled me with care and also took the time with the work she did, which came out amazing! I will definitely be giving this place more of my business!

Jurassic Art is my go to place for tattoos! I have done a few flash tattoos from recent events, and now have a custom piece created by Sara. Sara is absolutely amazing, and I highly recommend to everyone. With care, precision, and your tastes and opinions in mind, Sara does a wonderful job from start to finish, from creating the design to the finished tattoo. Everyone at the shop is kind and friendly, and the atmosphere is great. Highly recommend!

My tattoo artist Sara did amazing work in my tattoo she took her time and made sure I was taken care of. The price was 350 for a forearm tattoo which in my opinion isn’t bad especially for the size I chose. The waiting area was cool and comfortable along with the other artists.

My artist was Katie/ Katherine. The work was amazing it didn’t take much time at all for her to get everything set up. She made sure I was well taken care of and she was very respectful. The total for mine was 450 for my leg tattoo and the finished work was amazing.

He was very apologetic and made things right. And since this happened, Katie is no longer working in his shop. When we walked in we were greeted, his staff is very friendly (also apologized for our bad experience) and it was just all around a good vibe.He did the absolute best he could do with my tattoo and it turned out beautiful (picture below). He also touched up my other sunflower tattoo and they both complement each other.He completed my daughter’s tattoo and seeing his work against what she did it’s beautiful.Again, I can’t thank Michael enough for taking a bad experience and turning into a good one and making our tattoos look finished and beautiful!!!!I’ll be going back to Michael and his shop for future tattoos!!! Thank you!!!!! 😊 😊😊**********************************************Worse tattoo experience with Jurassic Art/Tattoo Pro and the artist Katie. Appointments were for 7pm, in and started by 855pm. I felt at times Katie was ripping my skin. She stopped a few times to leave the room. My tattoo should have taken from start to finish, an hour if that.My daughter’s tattoo was plain all line work, maybe an hour, hour and half. I took a peek and the artist - Katie was dozing off while working on her tattoo.We left with my daughters being an unfinished tattoo because Katie couldn’t keep her eyes open and my daughter was very disappointed, lines blown out, shading done when it didn’t call for any in it. At one point Katie undid her shorts to be comfortable.I was charged $150. I dont mind paying for a good tattoo but this was awful. No wrapping/bandage or cream put on mine.My daughter wasn’t charged as she shouldn’t have been. We left at 1125pm very disappointed with Katie and the work she did.We went to another tattoo shop the next morning to see about fixing our tattoos and one look at mine, he wasn’t going to touch it and could see it was infected, and my foot was swollen and he could see no detailing was done to a simple sunflower. He could see how bad she dug up my foot.With my daughter, he suggested a cover up since it was so poorly done.Very unhappy with this experience and the tattoos that Katie did. Not being recommended by us. I don’t think I should have been charged the full amount for a tattoo that is infected and will have to get touched up in a few months. 😢😡

Amazing stencil and design but there was no air conditioning and it was super hot. Was left in the lobby for 30 minutes waiting for the changes made to the design and another 20-30 for the stencil to dry. Was said to be a 200 dollar tattoo but got it down to 150 which was still overly high. Would not recommend.

Had a really good experience with Sara. She made me feel welcome and comfortable throughout the whole session and was very sociable as well. She’s amazing at what she does with her work and I definitely recommend her being your artist!

This past Thursday my friends and I came in to get pierced and we got KatieShe’s so friendly, and a great person, so maybe she just had an off dayBut she had to repierce my friends septum in shop bc the first time was crooked. No issue, she gave a discount and we were like coolI went to another shop to get my jewelry changed bc of irritation, and they had to repierce it bc the inside hole was wayyyyy too low. I would’ve never been able to wear normal jewelry.EDIT: so due to the piercing Katie did, u have a hole in my nose flesh that swallows the jewelry. I have to constantly push it out of the hole so it don’t cover up. I’m hopeful it doesn’t reject … am very upset about this over allPictures of the hole, and proof of how low the inside hole was attachedIt’s been a month and haven’t heard anything. Will not be going back to this shop for any reason.

Very friendly, this is my 3rd tattoo and first time customer here. I had the pleasure of working with Maygen McCarthy. This was my best tattoo experience I have had so far. Katie was extremely helpful in changing out my nose piercing for me tonight after I got it pierced at another location over the weekend that had apparently used the wrong size needle and a corkscrew that was too tight and didnt allow for swelling and was becoming embedded in my nose. It was almost closing and she didnt have to fix someone elses mistake. I am so grateful as I had immediate relief from the pain I had been in for almost 2 days. She was knowledgeable and friendly and I will definitely be returning for future visits.

Codi was my artist and made me feel so comfortable at my appointment her work was amazing and the tattoo I got here has held up better than any of my tattoos I’ve gotten anywhere else! 10/10 experience definitely recommend!!

Sydney gave me my tattoo today. I walked in last week and described what I wanted to her. She drew it up exactly how I had imagined. Sydney has a kind and fun disposition. Her room had a relaxing atmosphere, I almost felt like I was getting a massage. it was an excellent experience. I will be back!

I started going to this shop about a year ago and i have never went anywhere else. The clean environment and friendly staff who listens to exactly what you want will keep you coming back again and again. I have gotten 2 piercings and almost two sleeves all done by Codi Parrish. I recommend this shop to anyone looking for a good shop to frequent for people looking to do big pieces or if you are just looking to add a new quick and fun tattoo this is the place for you!

I walked in shortly after they opened up and everyone in the shop was incredibly friendly! Nikki worked with me to perfect my tattoo; the font I specifically wanted had to be modified slightly due to the shape of a couple letters. Nikki took time with my tattoo, made sure I was comfortable, and did fantastic work! I am so satisfied with my experience and I will definitely be returning for more! :)

The absolute best shop around! Mike the shop owner, is an amazing realism portrait artist! Codi is a wonderful artist who will work with your ideas to create an absolute masterpiece! Such a warm welcoming atmosphere, they make you feel like family walking in to the place whether you already have an appointment or are just coming in for some questions. I highly suggest them over any other shop!

Tattoo Pro Studio / Jurassic Art is the place to go! The staff is super cool and friendly, and they really know their stuff. The artists are top-notch and created a sick design that was exactly what I wanted. The studio is clean and comfy, and they take hygiene seriously. If you want an awesome tattoo experience, this is the spot to hit up. 5 stars, no question! Ignore the 1 star haters and come see for yourself.

Came in no appointment to get my daughters nose pierced. Codi helped. She made my daughter feel comfortable and explained everything she was doing. We had a great experience and would highly recommend this place but especially Codi.

The staff here is extremely nice and accommodating! I go to Codi for tattoos and she is absolutely incredible! She is very detail oriented, and makes sure she talks you through the whole process to make sure you get exactly what you want!

The staff is vry nice, Mike is a cool dude. Cody is super sweet. Havent had a chance to see Megan yet. But the tattoo they do sre vry nice. The line work is good depending on the person doing it, also I understand quality over quantity but the prices here are definitely way to high. The small tattoo on my arm was 300 dollars, when in reality that is too much for a small tattoo. I would say around 100-120, for a small is more profitable than 300. Definitely happy with the outcome just way to expensive.

Codi was wonderful from when I first walked in to the shop all the way up to the end as I was walking out! She was really nice and super informative also! She made the process seem very easy and she was also easy going while I was indecisive about what I wanted. I have other piercings, but this was my favorite experience so far...thanks girl! Tattoo Face Mike worked in a group of 4 of us with only a days notice. He was hysterical but professional. His work was amazing. The tattoo he gave us was better than The tattoo inspiration picture. He added more detail and shading. I love it!!!! What I also loved was that the other artist come in to check out what he was doing and complemented him as well. Love that supportive group. 10/10,will go again.

Nikki did an amazing job! I have body confidence issues and got a tattoo on my upper leg after loosing a big amount of weight and she was so caring and understood this was a huge step for me and was so patient with me!! Will definitely be coming back to Nikki also the rest of the staff was super friendly as well 10/10 recommend!!

This is by far the best tattoo shop around. They have done 6 of my tattoos, a piercing for me and daughter and a cover up tattoo for my husband. The people there feel like family. Make u feel welcome and just a group of awesome people. If you are looking for an awesome group of people, are great at everything they do and reasonable prices, you must give them a try. Working with Codi was a great experience! She took my ideas and created a beautiful memorial tattoo honoring my Mom. She was so sweet and went out of her way to customize my design until it was perfect.

This was my first tattoo so I was nervous. Michael johnson was very professional and calming during the whole process. The piercer did a good job but I feel like $70 to get your ears pierced is was too much. I was reading reviews for this place and saw someone complaining about being charged $60 for a piercing and then the store commented back that they don’t know how that happened because they don’t charge no more than $50 for a piercing. So I thought great, I won’t have to pay more than $50… I had to keep my jaw from dropping to the floor when she told me how much it was AFTER she pierced my sons ears. $70… and he got surgical steel fake diamond studs… nothing fancy at all.

Awesome place. They have great artist. The environment is down to earth and very chill, they make it feel like home. Jamie did this tattoo for me. She did wonderfully on it. I told her to make sure the lines werent perfect and that everything wasnt exactly symmetrical. Its a nordic tattoo, if it would have been perfect it would have been ruined, and as you can tell she nailed the mark! So all in all amazing. I am very happy with the work.

Megan did an awesome job taking care of me. I love my new piercing. I’ll definitely be back for more. She took the time to make sure I was okay before, and help me shake off any anxiety I had. She also made sure I was okay after, letting me take as much time as I needed.

Piercing cost me $60 and she pierced it wrong tried to get it re done but they didn’t allow me too.Well she must not have went by y’all’s prices. And I did call. Your employee must’ve not informed you sir, and it ain’t my fault y’all can’t keep employees. I have the video and everything from getting the piercing. Y’all should probably get some professional workers and not just anybody from the trailer trash yard. Y’all have the worst customer service ever. Most of the time the employees are on the porch smoking cigarettes and staring at customers.-make sure you know the price the piercer upped the price on me.Ps. They can’t do simple piercings, my friends came out wrong too. I would suggest you to only get your ears pierced but they’ll probably pierced that wrong too.

Absolutely love this place. Nikki done my tattoo and it is by far the best tattoo out of my nine others. Highly recommend this shop to anyone and especially Nikki and Cody.

I was strongly considering this as a place to get my piercings. After I saw my friends septum piercing I was horrified. If this is the way they treat their customers I would strongly advise you not to choose this place. If I could give them 0 stars I would!

Maygen recently did an otter piece on my forearm and I could not be happie. I was skeptical at first due to it being such a small studio in the middle of lexington but she shattered my expectations Id highly recommend this studio and Ill be coming back for sure as soon as I can

I got my septum pierced here which was a HUGE mistake. The piercing went through the tip of my nose instead of straight through. I repeatedly tried to contact the owner and the piercer and neither person responded, I even went to the shop during open hours and no one was there. Now I have a messed up septum piercing that I cant get out. I dont recommend going here.

I got an industrial and daith piercing done by Codi, she did an amazing job explaining everything and she was super sweet! I definitely recommend going to see her!!

Julie did my tattoo of my daughters first and last name on my left forearm with a red heart and heartbeat in the middle. Very, very happy with it. Will be seeing Julie again soon.

Haven’t been inside, or got any work done from them….but their T-Rex out front is a total landmark! That thing is worth the drive just to see it.

Paid $45 just for my septum piercing to be BOTCHED. half went in fine but the other half comes out of my cartilage.
