I went to Underground Art based on a friends recommendation. It was great. The atmosphere was comfortable and professional. Vanessa listened to what I wanted. I got the tatto I envisioned. Definitely would go back in the future.

Great shop! My sister in law wanted to get a small tattoo on a walk in. Called and Reese said we could go straight there, and he did a great job on her tattoo. Highly recommend

Got my sternum piece a while ago from Vanessa. Every time I talk to people about it, I say that it was the most painful tattoo but the most patient artist. She was sweet, communicative, understanding, and cool on top of that. Highly recommend

They do excellent work and are very highly professional. I would recommend this shop to friends and family. I dont mind paying a deposit or getting vaccinated to have my favorite art tatted on me. I have had my navel pierced here and I also have had multiple tattoos done there. I anxiously waiting on getting a new tattoo soon! See you there!

I have gotten several tattoos and piercings here, and I will not be going anywhere else! Angela has created an inclusive and safe space that is warm and welcoming. The staff is professional and diverse. Vanessa has done the majority of my work, and she is a joy to sit with. She listens and collaborates with you and does beautiful work. BUT that can be said of anyone there. They are all equally talented. Its a wonderful space. Go check it out!!!

Very safe and all inclusive spot to get tattooed or pierced. The staff are amazing. I recently had a vertical labret that I couldnt get out. I called around and no piercer was available to help me except for Quintin. They did ask if I was vaccinated for my safety and theirs, which I love! My piercing was out within minutes and I was able to go about my day.

I really love this establishment. Before the pandemic, I went with a friend to get her tattoo, and Vanessa was professional, timely, and gave her a beautiful piece of artwork.Then I went back and got a simple lotus flower from Bobby, and he was patient, chill, and professional. When it came time to get my tattoo, he was on time, professional, and made sure that I let with a tattoo that I liked.I highly recommended this place, great vibe and awesome artists!

Incredible, inclusive place with talented tattoo artists. Take their COVID protocols seriously and currently require vaccinations so you can go there and feel completely safe. Vanessa is brilliant in every way. Highly recommended!

I first had the privilege of finding Underground Art when the owner organized and hosted a fundraiser supporting a mental health nonprofit. Since then, theyve been my go to shop for new tattoos. Every artist is wonderful at what they do and makes the entire process an absolute joy. For real, you couldnt ask for a more comfortable, professional, friendly, TALENTED group of folks to make your tattoo dreams come true.

Super awesome place! I got my first tattoo here and everyone was super nice and very informative. The artist I had (Peter) was very flexible with changes I made and very kind. They told me every thing I needed to know for aftercare and even gave specific brands of things to use (which helps a lot so you know exactly what will help you heal) . Super satisfied, definitely recommend, and cant wait to come and get my next tattoo here!

I had both my tongue and nose pierced here. I didn’t feel the pain I thought I would. I was walked through what was going to happen and the tongue no pain until it woke up. The nose felt like a big sneeze. I am thinking of a tattoo I want to get done here.One thing I am noticing is the extra care they are taking during this pandemic. I know of shops and people who aren’t as careful. Even though I am fully vaccinated I still wear a mask and I appreciate the venues that still require them. Better safe than sorry. I have referred and met many people who love this shop!!!!

Allison does amazing work! got my first tattoo last night and it covers the inside of the left arm. it turned out Amazing. I was very satisfied! I would definitely recommend her.

I have gotten work done with David over the years. I always feel welcomed and well taken care of. He is a super talented artist, and the shop is so clean. Now they have CBD and Delta8 products. I bought some CBD and Delta8 gummies. I am super pleased. I have peripheral neuropathy in my feet that is horrible, and crazy bad anxiety. The anxiety is so controlled, and my feet are MUCH better! I will be buying these on the regular. Try it!

They really have a high artistic aesthetic. In terms of craftsmanship, Ive never once seen a crappy tattoo done by anyone at this shop, and Ive known artists there since they opened. Im older than most people are when they get their first tatts, and Ive known Ivy since she was little, and it was so cool to have her do my first tattoo. I will be going back for a few more before I quit, assuming I dont become a tattoo addict.

I have gotten 2 tattoos from them. I am going for a 3rd. I have been to a few of the shops around Memphis and nothing is a good as these guys, friendly, very understanding and WONDERFUL art work.I dont think I could ever go anywhere else for work again :)Very much worth it.

Allison is a friggin GODDESS! I couldnt have asked for a more conscientious piercer. She made a typically tender area nearly pain free with her speed and deft touch. She rocks!!!

I am about to place another order for CBD and Delta8 gummies. I can not get over how much they have helped me with both my pain and anxiety. I have peripheral neuropathy in my legs and feet and some other health stuff. The Delta8 relieved much of the pain, and the cbd is great at calming my anxiety down. I heard about them while checking out and ohn and awen over the art of officers I met. So, curious about their techniques and what they offered, I paid them a visit where I met Alison, one of the artist, who explained what they offer and made suggestions about art location - i.e. putting it in less obvious locations depending on your vocation. I spent a little time gaining an insight into the organizations history - they are local and owned as a partnership between two artists. As I spent time at the location it was a reminder of yet another art district I frequented in the past. Apparently, this used to be a house and the area was originally residential but has changed over time. Even so, the appeal of the outside gives you a sense of their artful style. Stop in and look into your idea of whats a great expression of you and dont forget to check out some of their jewelry and other offerings.

Couldn’t get in touch. No email, no contact via social. Called several times no answer, voicemail said to text the phone number which I did twice. Still no answer. Getting my tats done elsewhere.
