Randy and the staff at Tattoo Lounge are simply the best. There is nowhere else I even consider going. Randy did a sleeve on my right arm and will be starting on the left arm in the fall.His talent is remarkable and he truly cares about your experience. He took the time to find out exactly what I wanted, find good examples to use, and created his own when necessary. He also provided expert advice for when what I wanted might not produce the best tattoo but always deferred to what I wanted.Thank you so much Randy for everything you do your work is simply beautiful. I get compliments everywhere I go and people are always asking where I got it done.

Love this place! Ive been coming here a few years now and always get such a friendly vibe from everyone. Randy has done amazing work on my full sleeve and a half sleeve. I was tattooed here by Cris in 2021. Multiple friends of mine have been tattooed here and if I had to pick a favorite shop of mine it would be this one. Every time Ive walked in here not only is it ALWAYS sparkling clean, the staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. Its a very fresh environment, I think its perfect for whether its your first piece or if youre a tattoo veteran. My arm piece Ive attached here, first photo is when I was freshly tattooed in March 2021, second is from June 2024. My piece is still very bright and colorful, I get compliments on it all the time. Yes I paid good money when I came here but it was worth every penny. Not one complaint, planning to get another piece in the future here. Absolutely recommend you will not be disappointed.

I have had two tattoos done by this shop. My husband has had one and my son has had two. My daughter is getting her first this week. We obviously love the shop!! They do excellent work, very clean, very professional. Highly recommend!

This is a badass shop. Not only was I able to get an artist to understand the idea of what I wanted but create it into something even better! Everyone in the shop are down to earth and friendly. Super clean and confident anyone will leave satisfied with whatever service you inquire of. I also love how other artists have the ability to just walk by and compliment and also be able to give advice on how to make your tattoo design perfect! Would recommend to everyone!

I went in as a walk-in to get some piercings done and Drew was amazing! He was so patient and kind, and did really well at explaining everything. My friend that went with me already has plans to go back for her own piercings! Definitely recommend going to Drew!

I saw Brandon to get a tattoo for my 21st birthday a couple of years ago and he was amazing! He made the experience very memorable! Everyone at this shop was incredibly kind and helpful in explaining everything. This was my third tattoo but I was still a bit nervous since it was bigger than my other ones and would take more time than what I was used to being under the needle for! However, Brandon did a wonderful job at making sure that I was comfortable and was very good at communicating with me throughout the whole process! I absolutely love the art that he did and it has become my favorite piece of work thus far! It has truly held up so well over time and I hope to come in very soon to add some color to it! This place is very professional and warm and also very clean!!! I would recommend it to anyone and everyone :)

Randy is absolutely amazing when it comes to detail! He has done 4 pieces that are total of 16 hours each! The atmosphere is quiet and chill! The artists are very welcoming and are always willing to help you at any time.

Got this memorial piece done for my great grandparents and boy did I leave happier than I ever expected. Cris was an overall great guy and he took my idea and turned it into something AMAZING. Not to mention the staff are a bunch of warm hearted people. My sister got a leg piece done as well and you can guarantee BOTH of us will be returning.

This was probably the best piercing shop I’ve gone to! I had gotten a helix piercing from a different shop months prior and experienced difficulties with it, so I came into Tattoo Lounge expecting to just get a new piece of jewelry. Drew was EXTREMELY helpful! The moment I showed him my helix, he had offered to re-pierce it for a small fee and also let me know that it was pierced incorrectly the first time. He was very understanding and even talked to me about what may have caused the complications. All in all, I was only in there for maybe 10-15 minutes, and it was better than any other shop I’ve been to prior! I would definitely recommend coming to this shop, thank you so much for all of your help!

The chair at The Tattoo Lounge has become one of my favorite spots to be in over the past year. Randy and his featured artists are the best in the business. The shop is clean, the apparel is fresh and the artists are fabulous!

The Tattoo Lounge is the only place I will go for my tattoos. Did an awesome job on my surprise tattoo. My best friend and I were treated as a surprise by my husband. We have a feather with its shadow and I have No Matter Where and my BFF has No Matter When. Thank you for such a wonderful gift.

The Lounge is clean and everyone is so friendly. I had Jared do my tattoo of an olive branch on my forearm and I get compliments on it daily. The tattoo is beautiful and very realistic. I got the tattoo for my first born and it’s such a beautiful piece to look at and think of him when I am not with him. I have recommended anyone who comments on the tattoo to go to the Lounge. Fantastic artists! I had my first piece done here and everyone was great.Randy did my work and was very easy to talk to and collaborate with on how to bring my vision to life. I have absolutely no artistic ability at all and Randy was able to interpret and put to paper everything I was rambling about.The rest of the crew was awesome too. I got to know a few of the other artists while in the chair and it was really cool seeing them all watch each others work and give/take feedback on how to perfect their craft. 10/10 will return.

Ive been here twice so far and both times I was greeted by very kind and welcoming people. The first time I went, the receptionist was incredibly helpful when I was looking into a nose piercing and its pricing. The second time was for a tattoo consult and both the receptionist (same lady, recognized me and was kind as ever) and my tattoo consultant Anthony was eager to discuss tattoo designs and give tips on what helps the tattoo last. When you see the super cool guy outside holding the “tattoo” sign and throwing up the peace ✌🏾 sign, stop there ! I had the pleasure of getting my first large piece done by Jared and not only was he super nice , so was everyone else (including the other patrons). Not to mention the place was CLEAN.I was able to meet my artist, talk about my vision, see mock-ups before my actual appointment, get an estimate of how long it would take, and they worked around my schedule. My tattoo still looks amazing now that it’s healed and I get so many compliments on it.Tattoo lounge is the place to go!

This is honestly such an amazing tattoo shop! Ive gotten work done from multiple artists now and they have all come out amazing. I know its always a little scary just picking a new shop out for something that will be on your body forever, but Randy in particular was so thorough and kind, and let me sleep peacefully while he tattooed me lol! I found Randy from googling realism tattoos and Ive done two tats at his shop now. Tattoo Lounge is super clean and has a professional atmosphere but is still fun! He also has done powder brows and other styles of micro blade eyebrows on 4 people I referred! Randy is well organized and just an all around nice man.

Tattoo lounge has some of THE best artist I have ever walked into a shop to discover. Randy Vollink has done all my most recent work of 3 cover ups that came out phenomenal, and one piece that is all his original work and not covering anything. It’s by far my favorite piece. I came in one time and he was booked out for about 6 months so I had another artists to the tattoo on the back of my calf and it’s some of the most precise work I have seen done. Randy and his ink shop The Tattoo lounge has some of the BEST art work, designs, and execution I have encountered. It’s my permanent shop now. 🤘🏼 I posted my back piece and one of the three cover ups I got done.

I went the The Tattoo Lounge with my sister to get sibling tattoos. It was one of my favorite tattoo experiences I’ve had. It was Anthony that worked with us and he was very kind and patient through out the process as well as personable and funny. He worked with us to get get our silly tattoos exactly how we were imagining. Randy was around and talked with me for a while about a larger piece that I want to get done some day and explained how my idea would work and the parts of it that might not transfer well into ink, and that was very awesome and led to some new ideas of how I might be able to get all of the idea down just in a different way. I haven’t been back yet but I moved to AZ not so long ago and with a shop so versed in talent I know there will be time. :) thanks guys

I got a half sleeve done and what was estimated to be about a six hour tattoo turned into only 4 hours and it turned out great! My artist worked fast and efficiently. Right after my tattoo they were able to squeeze me in for a last minute nose piercing and I love how they were so informative on aftercare. This wasn’t my first tattoo/piercing but I learned more about aftercare then other artists had told me.

My mother passed away and I was nervous about getting a “black and grey portrait” tattooed on my forearm but once I got a consultation with Randy I felt confident he would make it perfect! I got the tattoo a week later and have not stopped looking at it. I almost feel it gets more real everyday. Not only is his art of tattoos good, he is professional and cared about me the entire tattoo. Thank you for keeping my mom alive on my sleeve!- Jason

Randy is an artist, as are his other people. But, he is tops. I had a drawing of a wolf that I was attached to. He did the tattoo on my shoulder and the identical tattoo on my son rib cage. Ive been around a lot of tattoo shops and some are just more welcoming than others. The tattoo lounge wasnt intimidating, dirty, or just have the overall vibe seem off. Even being someone who has a bunch, the vibes can be really freaky and make the entire session scary. Thats just not a thing at the lounge. I was getting tattooed and chatting with another client across the store. Its a really great shop. Everyone in the shop is friendly and the store is really easy to get to!

This is one of the cleanest and the best customer service tattoo places in the state of Arizona. My husband and I have been coming here the last two years. I highly recommend this place. I got my tongue pierced here and was fairly nervous because I’ve heard some horror stories but everyone was so welcome and made it a really easy process! It was a clean and welcoming environment and when I got the actual piercing done it was fast and easy 10/10 recommend. My piercing healed fast and had no problems at all:) will definitely be returning!

My best friend and I walked in to get matching tattoos. They were able to get us in, no problem! Mine was a cover up and the artist did a great job. Overall, the shop is super clean, the artist and staff are SUPER friendly (none of those arrogant, intimidating vibes that some shops give off.)

I was on vacation visiting family and the day before I left I called the shop to see if they could do a tattoo. Not only did the artist draw the tattoo on the spot but also rocked out the tattoo in under 2 hours. This was the cleanest shop I have been too. My aunt came with me and she has no tattoos and was asking the artist questions and he was more than willing to have her watch and answer her questions. I have been to other shops where the shop is not as welcoming. The overall shop vibe and experience was 10/10 all around. I will definitely be booking a tattoo appt every year when I go to AZ.

Never been to a more friendly and welcoming place when getting a tattoo. Not only is the place amazing, they made sure I was comfortable and accommodating while getting my tattoo. The best tattoos I have ever got. I have gotten 2 tattoos and my eyebrows tattooed. This place and these people know how to provide great service and quality. I will never go anywhere but to the Lounge. Had then opportunity in Vegas last weekend but wouldn’t do it. Gotta have Christian!

I came in with a picture of an elephant my grandmother who passed away helped me pick out. The picture did not have the trunk, I wanted it personalized and the eye had to be blue like my grandmas eyes. They took their time and really listened to me when customizing. I already got scheduled pretty quickly but they went above and beyond to get me in earlier when openings came up.I also had a nose ring and selected a new ring for it from there but my piecing was not wide enough for it so I had to get it stretched. It was painless and their whole shop was extremely sanitary. I left feel great about my expirence and although I was grieving my grandmother they made it special for me. I’m excited to come back to finish it this half sleeve and my vision for it.

As a heavily tattooed man, I’ve been tattooed by several people. When I need a tattoo with great detail, I will always come to Randy at the Tattoo lounge. There is simply nobody better for a detailed tattoo project. Also, I’d like to mention how classy the tattoo studio is, the Tattoo lounge definitely takes pride in their appearance, and I appreciate that.

The people were friendly, the tattoo was decent work. My only complaint is that I didnt go back for touch-ups right away Im a single mom and always busy. About 8 months later I went back to get the touch-ups done on the tattoo and they said they wouldnt do it because it was after 6 months. Ive never had a tattoo shop say that. Usually as long as you have the receipt from the tattoo, the artist does touch-ups. I was very disappointed I am going to have to pay another tattoo artist for touch-ups that should have been covered. Other than that its a nice shop and staff are nice.

Phenomenal work and great atmosphere. Had an idea in mind and it was executed perfectly. A mistake on me working on the project car led to the fading on the knuckle as pictured, but not any issue of theirs. 110% recommend and super happy with how it turned out, and everyone who sees it loves it just as much as I do. My terrible photography skills don’t do it the justice it deserves. Thanks!

I’ve had a couple of appointments here when Maddie was apart of the team, the shop is clean and staff is friendly! They take credit cards which is nice as most places or artists don’t have that option.

I took my son to get his first tattoo from Randy. He completed 2 tattoos and both of them were beautiful. Even though the hockey design my son wanted was not a technique Randy normally does, he killed it. My son felt very comfortable and loves his tattoos!

Being a fan of tattoos I decided on my second tattoo that had special significance for me.I met with the tattoo artist in advance to confirm the style and size of what I was looking for. We booked the appointment and was all set.The engraving went well and as little pain as I felt it was bearable. The Tattoo Lounge is awesome! Ive gotten 3 pieces from here and have brought my mother and sister for a matching piece. Ive since moved out of state, but definitely want to plan any future pieces around my travel to AZ so I can come back! Everyone is very professional, sanitary, and kind!

This is a very chill, clean, welcoming tattoo shop which is hard to find. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. Jared did mine and my sister’s tattoos and he was very funny, nice, and inviting. We loved the vibes here. If you’re looking for something small or a big piece of art this is the place to go. 10/10!

I visited the tattoo quite a bit ago but due to moving out is state I haven’t been able to finish my piece but regardless I was absolutely thrilled with my experience! I’m born and raised in Mesa, and have been collecting tattoos since my 18th birthday 10 years ago. I’ve been to many studios and met tons of great artists, but I have to say this is a pretty premium tattoo experience. You walk in to an incredibly pristine location- nice cool location, clean and welcoming. Plenty of seating and a ton of art cycles through on a flat screen tv. There seems to be a ton of space for everything they could possibly need. They even have a big reception desk.Everytime I’ve called, Randy is the one who has answered and is always prompt and happy to help. Great people skills, fantastic customer service which unfortunately is rare in this side of town. A great selection of experienced and mature artists. Nice smooth process setting up a consultation with your artist, and they offer gift certificates as well.My artist was Mike Hawkins and he was a personable, experienced and pleasant guy to work with. Kim was there and offered great conversation as did Jared.If I could do it, i’d get inked here once a month for as long as I have space on my body to do so.Thanks folks!

Cris was simply great in appreciating and understanding the significance of a paw print from a very special family dog who we had to put down too soon and unexpectedly due to a terminal illness. His attention to the detail only honored her memory further. Will return without hesitation for further work.

I came in here for just two tragus piercings and to switch out some jewelry. The piercer was awesome and the prices were very reasonable. Everything was sterilized to hospital standards (I checked because I work in surgery) and I was pleased how nice the establishment was. One of my favorite piercers in the Phoenix area.

The Tattoo Lounge is the place you want to get your tattoos at. I came to Maddy regarding a half leg sleeve and a cover up. I was able to trust her with my ideas and she created some unique (custom) pieces for me. Dope artist and the other artists are friendly.

Randy was awesome. He was very professional and walked my wife through every step of the process. He was able to take my wife’s idea and make it a reality with a beautiful piece of work. He was able to do clean, legible lettering as well.

I had got a cover up of a pot leaf with a green reaper that my wife hated big time so after trying a few different places they said it couldnt be done. Then I was watching a show I found Randy. No ifs and or buts I had a indian skull head dress idea and he said no problem. Now the pot leaf was green and the reaper was black. So the head dress has red black and a couple of other colors it came out better than expected. Cant even tell it was a cover up. I got totally lucky I found him. Forever grateful 🙏

Randy is a tattoo God. His realism is far superior to most that youll see in the valley. I actually like when I have an artist that talks to me instead of just popping in headphones and zoning out. Hes great, the shop is great. He does an amazing amount of detail in a short amount of time. Hes proficient in many different styles and will be honest with you when thinking up a design. Hell make sure youre gonna be happy with the ink on your skin.

A friend and I happened to discover Tattoo Lounge via a google search and decided to pop in after reading so many awesome reviews and see if they happened to have any availability while my friend was visiting from out of town. Sure enough they were able to book us appointments later that afternoon. After leaving pictures of ideas for what we wanted, we returned two hours later. Our tattoo artist Jared had already been at work designing our visions. As a first timer, I was seriously impressed! The staff was personable and made us feel very comfortable and the facility was very clean! Jared was a pleasure to work with! We will definitely be back!
