Great service and excellent care instructions. Called to follow up with a few questions since getting my piercing and always very friendly and helpful. Always pay for quality when doing anything with body modification and the excellent piercing job in both my ears demonstrated that my money was well spent.

Called and made an appointment same day for a septum piercing. Once you arrive immediately you can tell it’s a very clean and well run establishment. Alex was setting up as I filled out my paperwork. Once I was finished he was ready too. Super nice guy and very knowledgeable. I knew right away I was in good hands. He explained the entire process before hand so I knew exactly what was going to happen. He showed me all the tools and how everything was sterile. During the piercing he made sure I was okay after each step. Gave clear instructions to me on what I needed to do (breathing, close my eyes). I went in at 4:00pm and was done by 4:20pm. By far a great experience and how fast it went was amazing. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking to get a piercing.

Huge shout out to Alex. I got pierced at Steady about a month ago and unfortunately one of my piercings started to embed. He had me come in the next day to look at it even though the shop was closed. Exceptional and professional service all around!

Ive been here twice, and both experiences were wonderful. My first time I got a nose piercing. She was kind and quick and made the process so easy! The second time, I got a tattoo. He was also kind and made the process easy. He was quick but only because I had a small tattoo. Its been a few years since I got it done, and it still looks awesome.

My two friends and I did walk-ins for ear piercings here and it was awesome! Alex did all four of our piercings and was super friendly, knowledgeable, and caring throughout the entire process. He did an awesome job on all of the piercings, and made sure we were all doing/feeling okay throughout the entire process. The prices were also better than anywhere else we looked. 10/10 would recommend

Its a good professional shop (for piercings, which is what I got. Tattoos I cant say, but the walls were American Traditional.) with a really solid piercer. Super accommodating. Really the only dock is time management. I set up an appointment, arrived 10 minutes early, and still waited 30 minutes past my appointment time. A Mom and daughter combo came in after me and got seen before me (they might have had an appointment, I couldnt say). So, good experience once I got in. Just dont know what happened time wise.So, yeah I think its a good shop, nice selection of jewelry, sanitary, and informative. Time was my only ding for them.

They booked me quick for a Walk in. I needed jewelery for my piercings. They had to be put in. Alex was dope. Quick and easy. Not pricey. I will be back soon.

Best piercing experience in the Twin Cities. Ive now had 3 piercings done by Alex, and I just keep coming back. It is a beautiful and clean environment, he explains everything clearly and youre in and out quickly and painlessly. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Been to this place many times already and its been a great experience every time! Got both lobes and one helix pierced, Alex is amazing and the piercings are healing well. Ive also got a tattoo the size of about a quarter sleeve from Jerome, and hes really good especially with shading! This place is so underrated I wish more people knew about them!

Great experience with the staff here. I came in to get a very tight fitting septum ring taken out- they were kind and the pricier was skilled. They made sure I was comfortable and were able to remove the jewelry without causing any discomfort (not par for the course when you have they type I did!). The shop itself was very clean, organized and calming. I will definitely be back for some jewelry and possible future appointments. Thank you all so much!

My friend and I got our nostrils pierced by Alex and were both so happy with how they turned out! The shop was bright and clean and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. Really dope place. Super clean and chill inside. I was pierced by Alex, he made me feel completely confident in his ability’s. He took time to make sure that my piercings where right where I wanted them and in line with my features. I’m in love with my new look and my overall experience 10/10. My husband and I saw Alex to get my nostrils done and his earlobes done. Alex was extremely professional and kind. He asked professional questions to make sure he was giving the best service he could. Ive had my nostrils done before at a completely separate place and they unfortunately did not heal and I had to take them out. Alex made sure to give great advice so my healing process was more smooth and already I see a huge difference. He also made the positioning on my face 100X better! Got my septum done here not too long ago. I was super impressed with the cleanliness and how kind all of the workers are. The piercer was super knowledgeable about what they were doing and did a great job. The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was done safely. Definitely recommend if youre a bit nervous around getting piercings.

I got my nose pierced by Selina one month ago and it was the best experience! I absolutely LOVE IT!!!! I had previously pierced it at a different location in south Minneapolis and it was a terrible experience. I waited an entire year to try again and did my research on where I should go. I chose Steady Tattoo & Piercing and I am so so so glad I did!!!!! It was incredibly clean and everyone was so friendly. They had tons of options for jewelry. The piercing itself was so quick and painless and it was very clear Selina knew what she was doing :) Thank you so much! Can’t wait to come back for another piercing one day!

Alex pierced my septum with wisdom and gentleness. I appreciate how he talked me through what he was going to do. He had me hold a mirror as he explained how my nostrils were different from one side to the other and how that could potentially effect how the jewelry sat. I felt like he gave me all the information I needed to make my decision on how I wanted to proceed and had him continue. He then use his gloves fingers and the q-tips to clean the inside of my nose as he felt around for where the best placement should be. Once he was satisfied and described to me what was coming next and got my full consent, he proceeded with efficiency and gentleness. The actual piercing was swift and near painless. I kept my eyes closed (mostly because I’m awkward with people up close in my space. Lol) and I didn’t tear up much. It was a brief, sharp pinch that receded immediately. He then explained he was going to insert the jewelry, told me he was about to touch my face (because my eyes were still closed) and installed the closed ring and ball gently and quickly. It all was done in 15 minutes. He gave me a neat little after care package with instructions, nasal wash, and a sweet treat. Thoughtful! We discussed how long it needs to heal, what to expect while healing, etc. and I will definitely be back to have Alex change out my ring for my next piece of jewelry from his selection of jewelry options.Three weeks later, it’s still healing well. I follow his instructions twice daily. I sent my daughter to him today to have her septum pierced and she is super happy as well.Miigwech, Alex! Thank you!

Steady is amazing, so is everyone who works there! Selina pierced my nostrils and I couldnt have asked for a better experience. She has wonderful bedside manner, and phenomenal jewelry selection. Selina is the best! She is so friendly & knowledgeable. I initially came in for advice on removing & healing a crooked piercing from another shop, and I came back to her for my re-pierce. I got my ears pierced here in August—my first piercing—and it turned out to be a nightmare. I wanted to go to a reputable piercing place instead of a Claire’s at a mall, but Claire’s might have been better.The skin grew over the back of my piercing, and I had to go to the doctor to get the piercing removed from my earlobe! It was also infected. I cleaned it every day for weeks when I got it, and it looked good at the follow-up appointment. I was very clear about this being my first piercing and needing thorough aftercare instructions.The doctor said it was the worst earring she’d ever seen. She could barely figure it out. I tried removing the non infected one—for 15 minutes—and I couldn’t remove it! I have no experience with jewelry, so I am frustrated they wouldn’t sell me something easy to put in for a first earring.My infection is cleared, but I have to get my one ear pierced again. I will be buying new earrings that actually work.

Probably the best experience I have had in a tattoo/piercing shop. The whole shop looked so clean and everyone was very helpful. Selina is so easygoing. She made sure I got exactly what I wanted, made me feel extremely comfortable, and gave great aftercare advice. I was nervous about the piercing but she was so quick and walked me through everything so I knew what was going on. Very professional and I would recommend 100x over again!

Ive gotten two piercings here (nostril and nipples) from two separate piercers. One was Selina and another was a Man I dont remember the name of. I had very good customer service with both ladies who ran the front desk, and felt very comfortable with both piercers. Over all the place was welcoming and I had a lot of things to focus my mind on when i walked in even though I was secretly freaking out. Both piercings went smoothly. Selina was the one who did my nipples and I couldnt be more happy with everything. I would highly recommend her. Thank you! Also, the prices are overall cheap for piercings in Minnesota with great quality work. :)

I got my first tattoo here on Saturday and I couldnt be more happy with it. It was very easy to set up an appointment. I had an idea sketched up but Jerome said he usually just sketches up word tattoos and I absolutely love the design he drew up. I love it more than the design I had. The shop is very clean and very comfortable and inviting. My step sister came with and also got a tattoo and she loves hers as well. I will definitely be back to steady tattoo when I want another one. :)

Ive had two great experiences at Steady. The first was a few years ago with a tattoo artist who now has her own shop. The most recent was with Selena who helped me find a piercing and jewelry that fit my body. She was kind and welcoming. The piercing table is very sturdy and I felt safe there as a fat person.

I had my helix pierced by Selina and she was amazing! She was very gentle and friendly during the entire process. I was shocked with how swift the piercing was and how well she handled my ear immediately after the piercing when putting the back on the earring. Selina answered all of my questions and walked me though the cleaning/healing process thoroughly. Highly recommend her for an easygoing, friendly, swift professional!

Ive had 2 very good experiences at Steady Tattoo and Body piercing. The first time was when I got my chest piece done about 3 years ago. I remember the old shop being nice and as comforting as possible as I was getting my chest tattooed for 8 hours.I recently stopped by Steady to get a piercing in anticipation for my wedding in October. I was hesitant about the healing time, but Blake was very helpful in informing me of the pros and cons of getting the piercing. He seemed honest and as though he was looking out for my best interest. I appreciated that. Nothing bugs me more than a salesman.I ended up getting the piercing (obviously) and was pleased with how professional Blake was about it. He didnt rush me and took time to explain everything he was doing. He was matching a nostril piercing that I have on the other side of my nose, and I appreciated that he took the time to make sure that the new nostril piercing was pretty darn near perfect.Id definitely recommend Steady to anyone who is looking to get pierced or tattooed.

Just had a piercing re-opened by Selina. First, she is totally awesome and has a super cool personality, told me what she was doing every step of the way and I can’t wait to get another piercing done by her.Second the place in general is super clean. Everything is kept in individual packages, they have a great selection of earrings to choose from and are high grade quality.Third, when you walk in, they greet you quickly and get things going for you pretty quick once they know what you are there for, and everyone is super friendly. If you need tattooing or piercing, this is the place. I will definitely be back!!

I came here for my first tattoo & loved it. The space is lovely as well as the staff. Selina is delightful! She changed my jewelry because the ones I had in my piercings were low grade quality (piercings done at a different location). She is very informative. I’ll definitely be going back.

I was very pleased with my service at Steady Tattoo. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were all fun and kind. My piercer was very personable and made me feel like I was a person and not just another customer. He showed me all the clean, sterile equipment, and walked me through every step of the piercing process, so that there were no surprises. Prices are extremely reasonable, not overly expensive like other places. I would recommend this place to anyone, and will definitely be going to them again in the future!

Selina was super helpful and helped walk me through the piercing process and everything I should know. I originally went in to get an industrial piercing but after looking at my ear she explained to me why that wouldn’t be a good idea and the complications it could have due to how my ear was shaped. Although it was kind of a bummer it was nice to have the honesty and it assured me that I was in good hands.I ended up getting two other piercings that day and so far both of them have been healing very nicely.I will be going back there for any other piercings I want to get in the future

Excellent place to go if you are interested in getting a professional to do your tattoo!I had called to make a consultation and was able to meet with an artist the following day, brought in 3 different images that I wanted to be combined for my tattoo, and got an appointment scheduled within two weeks!When I had arrived for my appointment, my artist Jerome, had presented the sketch of what we had discussed and it looked perfect! Got a tattoo for my bday a few months ago and got my nose pierced yesterday, I LOVE how clean everything is (very important!)and has a good jewelry selection. The group that was before me was there the day before and loved Selina so much they came back with friends the next day, she really was as awesome as they said, very knowledgeable, quick and good at explaining things, also got a lollipop in my bag with the instructions! Jeremiah is nearly finished with my lower half sleeve and I’m so in love with it. I’ve never gone anywhere in short sleeves without being complimented. Everyone from cashiers at Target to little old ladies in line at the pharmacy (true story, she loved it)!! The details are phenomenal. Getting a large piece can be terrifying–you need to be confident in your artist and trust them to create a design you love and can enjoy for a lifetime. I recommend Steady Ink to everyone that asks and will never go to another shop again. (Unless I’m in Vegas!) All the staff have been great, including interactions with other clients who’ve been in while I was having work done. It’s very clean and the environment is welcoming. I’ve seen many tattoo shops that could be intimidating for first time clients but Steady Ink does a great job making a light atmosphere. Oh, the counter is made out of pennies which is very cool!

Went there yesterday with my boyfriend and honestly this is our FAVORITE place to get piercing. I use to go to St. Sabrina and loved it but this has become my most favorite. Selina pierced my conch and my boyfriend’s earlobe and we both love her so much and actually coming next week to get another one! The price here is super affordable and I just love the vibe. Would recommend EVERYONE to come here and get your piercing!

Great experience. I got a septum piercing by Alex. Great piercer, straight to the point. Sadly their jewelry section is low but overall a great place. Everything was clean. He explained all the steps to take to clean and keep clean your piercing. They give you a lil bag with stuff to help clean your piercing. Theres a pamphlet that tells you all you need to know about taking care of your piercing but also what piercing you got, size, and who did it.

My boyfriend and I wanted to get our septum’s pierced, so naturally, we chose this place based on great reviews and pictures. We were not disappointed. Everyone was so friendly, and our piercer, Selina, made us feel very welcome and was friendly as can be. The place was clean and lively. This is definitely going to be my new piercing place and will be coming back soon!

My sister and I went into Steady tattoo with a vague idea of what we wanted. We explained it to the tattoo artist Jerome and he drew it up quick with no problem and it was perfect. This was both our first tattoos and we were so scared. Jerome was awesome and calmed us down and also kept a conversation going as he did the tattoos. He did our tattoos in amazing time, and we absolutely love them. The pricing was incredible, especially compared to other places.We will definitely be returning to Steady for future tattoos, and would recommend it to everyone. I went to Steady Tattoo & Body Piercing with a friend to get our third lobe piercings together. The environment was friendly and the service was great. We were both given aftercare supplies with the piercings as well as detailed instructions on how to keep our piercings clean. This obviously wasnt my first time taking care of a piercing, but Im glad they provided that information for anyone who has never been pierced before. I will definitely go back to get my next ear piercing and maybe for a tattoo Ive been thinking of.

Selina, one of the piercers, is an absolute angel! Shes done my industrial, double nostril, navel, tragus, and snug over the past few years. She is so incredibly conscientious of what positioning will look best, what is safe for your anatomy (which is crucial for quality piercings), and making you feel comfortable.I was pierced once by Alex and he did an equally wonderful job, and I can say the same for him.I will recommend the crew at Steady until the day I die. My experience at Steady was AMAZING! I got my tattoo today, it was my very first one. I got a rib piece done, and was actually pretty scared. The tattoo artist, Craig, was absolutely fantastic. I had friends come in there with me, but only one could be in there at a time. And he did so well helping me and helping them talk at me rather than with me. And all that was on top of an amazing tattoo that I absolutely love! Highly recommend!

I got a helix piercing from Selina and it was a great experience. She was quick and it has healed very nicely. This is a modern, clean place to be pierced and Selina is cool and kind. The prices are great for the quality. I plan to be back soon for more piercings.

I was very impressed with Steady. Amanda was sweet and very pleasant to talk to over the phone. When I arrived it was very clean and I was quickly helped. Jerome did my cover up tattoo and did a wonderful job! He took my idea and worked with it to create something that would both cover up my old tat and look gorgeous on me. He was a little ruff around the edges :) but I really enjoyed his sarcasm as it lightened the mood. His artistic ability and background could be seen through his work. The window was also a great way to pass the time. I would defiantly go back to Steady and Jerome!

I haven’t had any tattoos done here...yet! ;) But it’s been my go-to for piercings, which I have had visits with both Alex and Selina, and both are wonderful! Will runs a tight ship up front too, and is very knowledgeable and helpful! This is a welcoming shop, with good vibes all around!

The building that Steady is in is about to be knocked down for apartments which Im super sad about. I was Jeromes last tattoo at this location! I made an appointment and went in with no photos and he sketched a design directly on my skin with sharpies and it looked amazing! Its amazing what they come up with when you let them do what they want. The whole tattoo probably wouldve taken an hour or so without any breaks but it was my first one and it hurt pretty bad - I ended up needing 3 breaks! He was really patient with me and put up with my whining even though Im sure he was sick of it as I was his last tattoo of the day and he probably had to put up with whining already earlier in the day. He also gave me an AMAZING price on the tattoo! They also offer free touch ups. I really have nothing negative to say about the place or the artists, everything was absolutely perfect. I even left him a 25% tip since everything was excellent!

I recieved a piercing this weekend along with one friend, and the other two friends got tattoos. the service was great and our piercer really made sure we were comfortable and calmed us down before performing the nose piercing. Mine is healing great so far and I can hardly feel it. My two friends who got their tattoos are satisfied and it looks great. It was a good walk in and I am glad I stopped by.Thanks!

I have had two out of three of my tattoos done at Steady and always love going there. They are excellent at bringing my vague ideas to life beyond what I could have imagined! Super nice and friendly vibe. The girl at the desk helped me pick out some jewelry for my helix piercing and she was very friendly. There was practically no wait, and Alex did such a good job piercing my ear today, plus has a great sense of humor. I’m coming back to this place for sure!

Was able to walk in and get my septum pierced one night before close. They got me in fast, the piercer was nice and made me feel comfortable. He examined my nose and told me my septum was deviated but I went along and had him pierce it anyways, though it looked a little crooked. Went back yesterday after six weeks to have the jewelry changed and they were out of product. I went to a different shop which had product in stock, that piercer also examined my nose. He found that the needle had gone through cartilage instead of the thin skin in the proper place (6 weeks of healing vs 6 months!) and was also tilted, contributing severely to the crookedness of my piercing. I had to take it out so the piercing could heal and be redone in two weeks in the correct spot. Im disappointed because I really liked that shop and those people but I probably wont go back. Too bad I got a couple more piercings there last month before I knew about this. Better get them checked out. :(

I went in to see Nate with a pretty clear idea of what I wanted. The person at the front desk was so kind and helpful that she made me feel comfortable while waiting.Nate brought me back, made sure I was 100% comfortable, and even got me to enjoy the process.After the tattoo was done the team there made sure I was entirely sure of how to care for it and went as far as asking for my email address so they could check in and see if there was additional care needed.The shop was perfect and I would encourage you to do your first, or your next, piece with them. It will be worth your time and money!

I was pierced by Selina this week and it was honestly the best experience Ive ever had at a piercing/tattoo shop. She is professional, kind and warm. I have literal thick skin that has proven to be tough to pierce but that wasnt an issue at all for Selina, my nostril was pierced quick and painlessly! I got my tattoo done yesterday by Gabby. She is absolutely AMAZING! She is super nice and down to earth. She makes you feel so comfortable. She helped me out with figuring out how to do my tattoo design. It turned out so good!! I love it so much. The shop is really clean and beautifully decorated. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The shop has a great vibe and cool art. Its clean too. They were very professional and meticulous about the piercing process. I got my nose pierced and they let me choose between a captive bead and a stud. They answered all my questions, gave me a cleaning kit, and followed up with me to make sure the piercing was healing.

I got my daith piercing and I couldn’t have gone to a better place! They provided the cleaning kit, clear instructions and were always very helpful if I had any questions. The place was clean and their piercing included the jewelry. More importantly, piercer was very thorough with the procedure and made sure to making the piercing when I exhaled. I’ve had my piercing for over a year and no infections and I look pretty cool! My piercer was Selina and I would go back to her for any other piercings!

Steady is a great place to get a tattoo done, whether this be your first tattoo or one of many. I got my tattoo, a crow with cherry blossom branches on my side rib cage area, done by Jessie. She did phenomenal work and it only took around 3.5 hours total in two sessions. I had a design in mind that I explained to Jessie and she was able to draw up a design that I absolutely loved. The coloring done was amazing and I am completely satisfied! Jessie is a very professional and super nice artist. And the new studio has a great environment and is in a convenient location. Id definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get a tattoo done, and Id love to come back someday to get another tattoo done!

Best piercer ever! I walked in and saw Selena for a lip piercing. She did such a great job! The process was painless and I havent had any swelling. I wont go anywhere else for piercing again!!!! I highly recommend steady tattoo for piercing and tattoo (Ive also gotten a tattoo there and that was a great experience as well).

I called around 830 and came in 20 minutes later. They were happy to take me in as a walk in. Had no idea what I wanted but Jerome drew something up for me that I loved. Anywhere else would have been $150 without color but I was surprised to find out that even with color my tattoo would only cost $100. I would recommend this to anyone. Clean atmosphere and nice people. I will definitely come back!

I cannot rave about this place enough. I’ve gone there three times for two piercings and one nose ring change. I have an issue with my piercings closing right away and struggled to change it out after my first piercing and they were more than happy to help. The staff there are ALWAYS super helpful and make you feel welcomed. I will definitely continue to go there for all my piercing and tattoo needs.

Alex Levine took less than 15mins total, from walking in, to having me fill out paperwork and then actually doing the snakebites. Its a very clean establishment with an awesome environment. Absolutely amazing experience and Ill be going back soon for a tattoo.

I had a really fantastic experience at Steady. I had been thinking about getting another tattoo for a while and had seen Steady a lot recently since theyd moved to Seward. One day I just walked in, met Gabby and set up an appointment. Everything was clean and everyone there was friendly. Gabby answered all my questions and took a lot of care as she was tattooing me. I was in the area for work and after checking out quite a few shops in the area I decided on Steady Tattoo & Piercing as the place for my third tattoo. When I stopped in I was contacted promptly and was paired up with Jerome as my artist for my custom tattoo I was looking at having done. The shop was clean, the staff was friendly and made you feel comfortable. While it did take a bit of time for Jerome to get the sketch drawn up, it just made me even more stoked waiting for the final result. And the sketch turned out amazing. Jerome stated that I was looking at 3 sessions till the tattoo was completed. Jerome was able to work with me and my time table to get it done in two (had a plane to catch the day after the second sitting). If I ever end up back in the area and Im looking to get another tattoo Id definitely stop at Steady again, and Id highly recommend people to check them out first. So thanks again to all that staff at Steady and especially to Jerome for working with me and giving me a great piece of art.

I got a PA piercing done by Alex at Steady Tattoo & Body Piercing yesterday. I love the results and was very satisfied with the piercing experience. Despite the circumstances, I felt very comfortable in the shop and with Alex. Alex was very professional, detailed in his descriptions about the piercing procedure and aftercare, and efficient in his work. I was in and out in twenty minutes. This was my first piercing, and, if I ever get any more, I will certainly come back to Steady.

Super friendly and knowledgeable people here, smallish but great selection of jewelry. If youre in Minneapolis and looking for a piercing, Steady is definitely one of your best options. I had my philtrum pierced in September. I brought a couple friends with me because, hey! Getting pierced with your friends is fun, and Id heard great things about Steady. The piercer was super straight forward about what he would do. I let him know that I tended to get light-headed after piercings, so he had me lay down. The piercing was quick, and, while not painless, as painless as a piercing could be. About a month later my lip ended up swelling over the bar in the back. I went in and another employee got me a longer bar, switched it out and gave me more mouthwash. She didnt make me pay for the bar and said when I come back to get it sized back down I can just pay for that one. My piercing has since calmed down, and once I have the money, Ill be back for that sizedown and hopefully some more piercings!Oh yeah, my friends got a bellybutton and a nostril piercing. The piercer was great with them, too, and they are healing wonderfully.

Went to Steady on the second to last day before they closed for demolition. I had my tattoo done by Jessie and it went great. My design was simple, just one word, but it was my first time getting ink and I was unsure about the way it would look. Jessie talked it over with me and gave me some great advice on the placement which I took. During the procedure, she was laid back but at the same time totally professional and took every precaution to make it an enjoyable experience. Steady was a great shop and I will be sad to see it go but I have Jessies email address and will seek her out in the near future when I get another tattoo. Highly recommend Jessie and Steady-whenever it comes back.

Do not go here for piercings! They require you to by in-house studs and rings, the majority is surgical steel which they recommended to me. Surgical steel is basically a marketing term and does not hold any medical standard. Surgical steel should not be used in fresh piercings, especially if this is your first piercing. If Steady Tattoo was a reputable place, they would use gold or titanium in fresh piercings.I went to Steady Tattoo for my first piercing 6 months ago not knowing a lot about piercings. They pierced my ears with surgical steel studs. I went back in four months later saying that my piercings were still sore and were not healing even though I was doing the proper after-care. The male piercer completely discounted my concerns and told me piercings could take 6 months to heal.I waited until 6 months and the piercings still had not healed. I finally went to my doctor who said that I likely have a metal allergy (for most people this is nickle) and that is why my piercing never closed and was irritated. My doctor also inspected my studs and said that they did not appear to be 100% stainless steel. Most surgical steel has about 10% nickle, which could have been causing this adverse reaction.

Ive had two great experiences there. One for getting my lip pierced, and the other for my tattoo.Went in for pricing on a touchup for my foot tattoo, Jerome looked at it, gave me an incredibly reasonable price, and got in that weekend. He did a great job, answered my stupid questions and wasnt afraid to BS a little to make it light hearted.For my piercing, I went in, received a recommendation, pricing (super reasonable as well), was explained their sterilization of everything, signed, got the piercing and was out all within 15 minutes. Super professional, and free aftercare.Id recommend Steady for sure.

I had a great experience with Gabby at Steady Tattoo. Ive been considering getting a new tattoo for a while and happened to drop in while I was in town. I had a rough idea of what I wanted and Gabby was able to come up with a better design than what I had in mind. This is my go to shop. Period. Both Selina and the current piercing apprentice Raechelle are top notch. They are so thorough, thoughtful, considerate, and pleasant to work with. I have seen Selina on multiple occasions for a handful of ear piercings. They explain the entire process, such as temporary jewelry for healing and installing a more ornate forever piece once the piercing is healed, how sizing works for temporary swelling, how to treat and heal my piercing most effectively. They always make me feel heard, understood and treated with care, especially with long term piercing goals in mind. The last time I went in Raechelle had changed out my jewelry on healed piercings I had temporary jewelry in and they had extended the same high caliber of service. I have plans to continue coming here through the years and highly recommend Selina and Raechelle for all and every piercing need.

Salina was great! I got my nipples done and they were placed great. She was professional and informative and when I had to switch out a bar because of swelling she fit me in and was able to switch it quickly to keep it from embedded and now months later I have 2 great healed piercings!

Id really like to rate Steady 5 stars as it seems a reputable place (which is why I went there), but I had a HORRIBLE experience getting my industrial pierced here. I went at 8pm on a Saturday, which could explain it, but the service and experience were both so terrible I felt obliged to write a review.1) I walked in, said I wanted my industrial pierced. Was met with nothing but can I have your ID then the front desk guy disappeared for 5 minutes before slapping a form on the counter and walking away. I guessed I had to fill it out so I did.2) Selina, my piercer, came out, looked at the form and said it was the wrong one..did not make any apologies for that but had me fill out another one instead. Mind you, there was only one other customer in the shop so its not like they were too busy to check that they had the right form...3) Get into the back with Selina to get pierced. She barely talked to me, just told me to lay down. And then she proceeded to pierce me WITHOUT sterilizing or cleaning my ear! WHAT?!? Ive been pierced 10 times before this and I have NEVER had a piercer just directly pierce me without cleaning my ear or asking if the position was correct. I was so appalled; I couldnt even say anything and before I could fully comprehend what was going on, the piercing was over!4) I was escorted out immediately after that, told the total I had to pay, and then that was it. No follow-up from Selina about aftercare or anything! Also no thank you or any kind of goodbye. The dude up front took my card, processed the amount, and then just walked away.The whole experience took less than 10 minutes, and for the amount of money I paid, I felt ripped off. Im half wondering if my ear will get infected now as I was also given absolutely NO after care directions or even told when I could take the jewelry out! If this had been my first piercing experience, I would never get another piercing.. thank God Ive had others so I know how to care for my piercing... Would NOT recommend Steady if this is your first piercing!!!Sorry but Steady was a HUGE letdown and Im honestly so upset by this experience. I hope no one else is treated this way because it was a horrible way to be treated by a customer. I will definitely not be recommending Steady to my friends and as a repeat customer, they have just lost my business.

I went in to Steady Tattoo today, and also 5 years ago today, for nose piercings! I figured I’d come back on my 5 year nose-pierceversary! I had a fantastic experience with Selina, short wait time, and beautiful jewelry. I highly recommend steady tattoo for piercing as I can’t speak to their tattoos personally. I learned that the people who do the piercing leave Thursday’s by 8pm, so call beforehand to ensure someone will be available.

First and foremost, I LOVE my tattoo! This was my first time there and I was referred there by a friend. I saw Gabby, who did an excellent job. I found Gabby to be a very professional true tattoo artist in the business, and very chatty during the whole time, which made me feel very comfortable in a new place. I was a little wishy washy with my design and let Gabby play with a bit, and she came up with a simple yet sweet design. I will definitely be returning soon for some more art.

Both pierces I spoke with were very professional and knowledgeable. When I did get pierced it went extremely well, I was comfortable and very well informed of all the after care instructions.I also received a tattoo of my sons name in his hand writing by Kvam He did it perfectly! I have people ask on a regular basis even 6 months later if its a tattoo or marker. I will definitely have more work done by him.

My girl Selina did the best nipple piercings a girl could ask for. Super quick and made me feel like a princess. As one of two female piercers in the area, she really knows her stuff. 10/10 would recommend. Never going anywhere else.

I had a consult with Jessie for my first tattoo and I told her I wanted something with stars and my sons names. She came up with an AMAZING tattoo that was way beyond anything I expected! My experience was stellar. The site is neat and tidy. The staff are professional and patient. I was in for an eyebrow piercing by Alex - the process was quick and straightforward. At time of writing (10/18/2021), masks are required and only one client allowed inside at a time. I would visit them again!

Ive gotten my smiley, vertical labret, and both nostrils pierced here by Alex. Their pricing is very fair, and Alex is without a doubt one of the best piercers in the area. I had a FANTASTIC experience at Steady. Looked through the artist portfolios online and decided I wanted Gabby to do my first tat. Called and got a same-day consult with her. She listened to what I wanted, made suggestions about shading and coloring that made a lot of sense, and turned around an amazing design that I felt 100% happy about having on my body forever. We had a great experience here. Its clean, managed well, and the artists listen to what you want, and guide you to what will look best on your body. One comment is that the front desk guy was not friendly, and honestly made us feel a little stupid for what we wanted. Maybe he was just having a bad day. However once we met with Jerome and David, we had a great experience.

Came in and requested Nate to see if hed do some rework on a tattoo Id gotten elsewhere with poor lines and bad execution...he was very attentive as I told him what had gone wrong and what I wanted. He was sympathetic to my struggles, whipped out a pen to show me some changes he could do to make it look more like I wanted, and we made an appointment right then!Came back in a week later and seriously, Nate is the most chill and kind dude you could ask to get a tattoo from. The work he did was everything I had wanted, and for a more than fair price. His lines are excellent and hes got an eye for what looks good. This is the third tattoo Ive gotten at this shop and I can honestly say Im consistently happy with the service and the art that I get at Steady. Definitely some of the best folks in the cities and Id recommend any of them!

Selina pierced us today and seriously was AMAZING. Shes a riot! And she made me feel super comfortable and was quick at the piercing! They turned out awesome! I would drive from North Dakota just to have her pierce me again!

Selina was really patient! We tried different conch placements before deciding on one. Seeing the different placements helped me feel at ease and very sure about where I wanted to get the piercing. Thank you! I will definitely be coming back.

I got my first tattoo here, done by Miles (whos awesome), and the experience really couldnt have been better. Everyone here is super nice and super chill, and they dont overcharge you at all. A great place that does walk-ins, which was a big added bonus for me. The only place I tried going to that seemed genuinely interested in talking to me and learning about the tattoo I had designed. Could not recommend more highly!

Its been a full year now since I got my first tattoo here. My tattoo was done by Jerome and he did an awesome job with planning it out and drawing it on. I stumbled upon Steady Tattoo a few months ago, and I fell in love. Ive gotten 2 piercings from Alex Levine, and I think hes fantastic. Its obvious that Steady is a clean place with talented employees - probably the best things to look for in a tattoo/piercing shop. I will continue to go back!

Selina Ryan helped fix my teen daughters crooked ear piercings that she got at the mall many years back. She is now able to wear two studs on each ear lobe positioned in a way that she loves! (The old holes will close eventually.)I loved the service so much, I went back to get my plugs stretched to the next size! Way easier than doing it myself, and I got some sick tunnels to go along with it. Sore for the night and that was that!!!

I’m sure their work is really great and they staff is super friendly. I was off put by how y first consult went. I walked in and my artist met me at the counter, and that’s where the consult happened. Which was okay, I would have preferred a bit more privacy but since I was the only one in the lobby I didn’t mind at the time. The artist was difficult to talk to, friendly but difficult. He asked me to show him a few pictures as I tried to explain what I wanted. They didn’t ask to see what I was adding on to or where the location of my tattoo would be. I wouldn’t go back just because I felt like it was very impersonal and there wasn’t much effort to get to know me or what I wanted.

Craig Moore (Tattoo Artist) was awesome during my 3.5 hour session - Worked steadily and is so very detailed - My tattoo looks amazing. Hes a very friendly guy and made me feel welcome. The entire staff there actually were very nice asking me if I wanted coffee, sandwiches & snacks during my visit. Great place, great people.

Selina is fantastic with piercings! Super professional with explaining everything and asking if I had any questions. The process was really quick and almost painless when I got my septum pierced. Would highly recommend!

I like Serena. Shes fantastic for piercings. I took my daughter in for a nose and navel piercing. I had excellent experience with my nose, navel, and daith piercings a few years ago. Shes friendly, professional and so quick that its painless.

LB is great very professional and comfortable to work with...totally enjoyed my visit. In fact the receptionist (forgot her name) is also great. Best service and very clean. Had 2 nipples pierced, old PA opened with new jewelry and an old ear piercing opened also.... I see a Tat in the near future.

Selina is the best piercer out there — i’m telling you! i loved building a relationship with her while living in mpls. i knew i could always come to her with any issues or anxiety i was having related to a piercing. highly recommend her and this place!

Appt was early Sept:I got a floating navel pricing but my pricer pierced it with a 14g but 1/2in bar WAY TOO SMALL! It only took 3-4 days for it to start to embed had to go to different shop to get a longer bar (the only reason I didnt go back to steady is because my work schedule didnt line up and another place could get me in). I was in a lot of pain due to sheer swelling.. I eventually just took it out because the embed jewelry was giving early signs of infection. irritated that for pricing, then getting fixed at another place then doctor the dumb thing cost upwards of 200

After getting some piercings done by Selina and having a great experience, when it came time for my first tattoo, Steady was the place to go. David was fantastic - he helped me relax, communicated with me to make sure my tattoo would be exactly how I wanted it and gave me clear aftercare instructions. My wrist tattoo was inspired by my recent trip to India. Its an Om symbol based off an Om that was painted on a wall at Nanda Devi Temple in Munsiyari, in the foothills of the Himalayas. I wanted a tattoo that would help me remember what an amazing experience it was for the rest of my life. I couldnt be happier with the result. I would highly recommend anyone looking to get a tattoo or piercing go to Steady - theyll take good care of you. Thanks again!

Stopped in during Open Streets and inquired about getting a tattoo I have been wanting for awhile. I was really impressed by how clean and casual the atmosphere was and how nice the welcome was by the staff. I am always a little intimidated by tattoo parlors and have left many because I was made to feel like less then if that makes sence. In any case I was very comfortable from the start so I pulled the trigger and luckily they had a opening right then and there. And I beleive I was pretty lucky to have an amazing artist do my tattoo. With the name Stabbygabby I was pretty excited. So I highly recommend this place if your looking for a tattoo. I know I will be back and I have friends that are also interested in getting one or two also. Thanks!!!!

I had a tattoo done by Gabby and it was a great experience all around. Easy to schedule an appointment and she took my sketch and recreated it beautifully. The process was so good I went back the next day and got two more tattoos. Im already sketching a few more out to go back and get done. Theres no better place to go in my opinion.

He executed the design perfectly (steady tattoo is aptly named), keeps a clean, welcoming environment (with great music) and also happens to be incredibly nice and as well as professional. Found this shop cause they were cheapest in the area to do nipple piercings, went in and the shop was real cool. Was somewhat busy but was in the back right away. Selina did my piercings and made me feel comfortable, she was very patient and accommodating. Would reccomend

My sisters and I got our noses pierced. It was our first time getting anything but our ears done so Alex was patient and explained everything very well. Piercings are walk-in only and we did not have to wait. We were in there for probably 1 hour for the 3 of us.

Loved this place from start to finish. I have 4 tattoos and this was my first one done at Steady Tattoo. Jerome did my work and the design and concept was spot on with what I wanted and the pricing was MORE than reasonable compared to what other shops wanted. Would highly recommend and look forward to getting my next 1 there as well.

I absolutely LOVED this place. I got pierced by the owner of the shop he was very personable and fun to talk to. The jewelry was sanitized well and he walked me through the whole process and made me feel comfortable! No complaints. Highly recommend this place.

The whole experience was pretty much painless and very clean/sterile! The piercer made sure I felt comfortable and got exactly what I wanted. Additionally, its a really nice environment, well lit and with a lot of cool designs everywhere.

Honestly I really want to like this place and I want them to be my go-to tattoo and piercing shop, but they are impossible to get ahold of. On multiple occasions I have called at various times throughout the day and never get my calls answered. I’ve even showed up before and tried calling and knocking, no answer. By luck I showed up once at the same time as someone with an appointment and was able to slip on in and get fast prompt help with a piercing…it’s too bad they aren’t easy to call up and schedule with. I’m not sure how anyone else is having luck with them.

I got my first tattoo here (done by Will) and he was GREAT! He gave me exactly what I wanted, it was clean and I had no infection, and everyone was SO friendly! Reasonable prices and could squeeze me in without an appointment. DEFINITELY reccomend going here!

I probably had one of the best times of my life here! Im not sure what the girls name at the front desk was, but she was completely awesome!Super funny, sweet, and made you feel so welcome! As for the artists, they were the same way! Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and was patient with how difficult I was with the design haha! I was tattooed by Gabby (instagram @stabbygabby) and she was great! She redid the placement as many times as needed to make it straight and just perfect! Not to mention she was so funny and easy to talk to! Pricing wasnt bad, as soon as it was fully explained to me I understood it better! The only thing I wouldve wanted different is for me to have more money to tip her!

I have had 5 piercings done here over the last few years and Ive always had a great experience. They take great care of their clients and will give you the best advice even if it means they wont get a sale that day.

I went back and forth with someone for about a week via email about a ring finger tattoo. They were upfront about the fact that my tattoo would have to be simple , but they can set up a consultation to give me more details. I talked to Jerome who seemed rushed and grouchy. When I asked him for suggestions on the design, I was told that he wouldnt suggest a ring finger tattoo at all. Told me they cant be covered up in the future. Then proceeded to tell me its not something they can do for me at all. Wasted a lot of my time considering thats something they should have told me from the start.

I got my nose pierce here 2 months ago. It was covid friendly and clean. They did a great job of keeping my friend and I comfortable. I would go back here again to get more piercing.

Courteous, professional, affordable. The artist worked with me on two separate occasions to finalize my custom design before ink touched skin. Everything about my experience with Steady was positive, and I love my tattoo!

I have been coming to Jerome to work on my right arm sleeve, full color floral design and its almost done. It is incredible! The color work is so bright and vivid, incredible blending as well. Daily compliments on the work and color. Jerome is an amazing artist, hes also doing my fiancé s leg sleeve and did his arm sleeve traditional Japanese dragon and its amazing. The leg is incredible, all hand drawn from start to finish just incredible work. Very fair with pricing. You get what you pay for!!! Cheap tattoos are just that.. Cheap. Dont expect to get something incredible and only want to spend 100$ for a whole sleeve. He is very fair with his pricing and well worth what you pay. Great attitude, funny and sarcastic if thats what youre about too but also lets you just chill and zone out if thats what you prefer as well. All the Artists are great there. Im just partial to Jerome for obvious reasons. The shop itself is super clean and nice. Nice front sitting area and open floor plan for the tattooing area, one big open room which doesnt bother me at all. Were all there for the same thing, tattoos ! Reception is always great wether its a guy or girl Ive always been welcomed kindly and chatted up in a very chill manner, nothing too overly intruding but youre not ignored. All around awesome place! Follows laws and rules so dont expect some cheap under the table underage bs. It wont happen

I had my first tattoo ever done here last week! Jessie does beautiful, gentle, and quick work! I got a hand-sized tattoo on my head and oh my gosh its beautiful! I had basically no idea what I was doing and I still managed to get exactly what I wanted. I very highly recommend this place!

Selina is so kind and warm, feels like I’ve known her for years! She’s helped so much with finding the right design philtrum piece for me! She’s even sent me ideas for new pieces and called around to other shops to try to help me achieve the look I want. I can’t wait to come back in and to keep working with her!

Amazing! Very friendly and loved my artist Gabby. I went to 3 places for a simple cross and they wanted $140-$150 but at Steady Tattoo they only wanted $80. 10/10 would recommend and would go back.

I had my first tattoo at age 63 after finishing my first round of radiation for multiple myeloma. I had a burgundy multiple myeloma cancer ribbon done on my right ankle and I was VERY nervous. The tattoo came out just as I had hoped it would and I was treated very gently. The shop is clean and bright and everyone there is warm and friendly. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone wanting a tattoo...especially a baby boomer first-timer like me.

I’ve been a couple times for jewelry changes. Always very fast and friendly and reasonable with their cost. No hoops to jump through or online deposits like other annoying shops.
