My 14 yr old daughter and I went in to get a helix piercing. The studio was welcoming and the staff was great. Chasity was assisting us with our jewelry selection took the time to check jewelry not displayed to see if there was anything similar to what I was asking for (there was!!). Amber ook her time to ask my daughter specifically where she wanted her piercing and even moved the mark several times to ensure she was satisfied. She then cleaned the entire piercing room before I went in to get pierced (I was standing in the doorway) when she finished with my daughter. I highly recommend this studio!!

I was really nervous about getting my VCH piercing. When I walked in, the entire area was very clean and tidy, and the atmosphere was calming and peaceful. They properly sterilized the jewelry I picked out, and both women were exceptionally kind and personable!! Amber did my piercing. She made me feel very comfortable and at ease and brought my anxiety down. I have other piercings, and comparing my past experiences to this one with Amber, this was by far the easiest!! They gave me very clear aftercare instructions and maintained professionalism from when I went to when I left. I wish there was an option to give them MORE than 5 stars. SUPERB service, HIGHLY recommend!!!!!!! Thank you Amber for everything!! (I didn’t catch the name of the kind woman at the desk) but big thanks to her as well! You two were amazing!!!!!!!!

I chose this location because my oldest daughter had gotten some piercings done and she was really satisfied with the service. They did not disappoint! The atmosphere is very welcoming! The piercer explained the whole process and made my daughter very comfortable in what was happening through the process. Aftercare was explained and also given in print so we wouldn’t forget. I definitely recommend them!Make sure you read all the requirements before going, being I was taking my daughter who is a minor to get a nose piercing they did require birth cert & my ID.

I am really disappointed with the jewelry I received from Peaceful Piercings. I went in to downsize the titanium bar on a flat piercing I received elsewhere.A few positives: The staff was friendly and helpful, and they got me in and out quickly.Unfortunately, my jewelry became embedded in my ear on Sunday and the studio was closed. I went to an APP certified piercer in Charlotte to get it checked out. This certified piercer told me that the new titanium backing was too short and that it was not up to industry standard. She showed me the back I got from Peacful Piercings vs. backs I got from other certified APP jewelers and from her studio. There is a clear difference. It is possible that the back I was given was an older model, but nevertheless, it impeded the healing process and should not have been used.Please see the attached picture to see the difference. The back on the right is from Peaceful Piercings and the one on the left is from an APP piercer. The backs are obviously shaped differently and the one from Peaceful Piercers is much smaller, which allowed the embedding to happen.Furthermore, the owners bio on the website lists her as APP certified, but I was unable to locate the shop on the official APP website.In summary, I am disappointed that my experience with such nice staff was ruined by poor quality and/or outdated jewelry. I would not recommend getting any jewelry here for any piercing that is not 100% healed already.

Peaceful was so easy to book and contact. The staff is so nice and my piercer was so helpful and making sure I had the right size jewelry. I got a new piercing and some posts downsized and she was great! I felt very comfortable. Will definitely go back.

This place has a great atmosphere and is so clean and sterile. I love it here! Ive been a bit of a frequent flyer, from getting new piercings, to getting new jewelry, to having retainers put in when I cant wear jewelry for medical procedures and then of course putting them back in. Amber has also been kind enough to special order pieces of jewelry for me on more than one occasion. I absolutely love it here!!! Theyve definitely earned a customer for life. :)

My younger daughters were nervous about getting their ears pierced, but Peaceful Piercing was exactly as their name describes: a peaceful experience! From start to finish the process was very clearly explained and my daughters were made to feel at ease and in control of what was happening to them. The care which was provided throughout was way beyond what I expected and was a very pleasant surprise. The premises are clean and nicely decorated and the care taken for a safe and sterile process was obvious. My girls haven’t stopped talking about what a great experience it was and are already talking about taking their other sister soon.

Absolutely amazing! I got my belly button pierced yesterday and I had a bit of anxiety, she had fidget toys available to help which is so different because I’ve been to other piercing places before and was never offered anything to soothe my anxiety. They have an absolutely beautiful array of jewelry colors to choose from. I chose something close to the color Jade (I had to get a floating piercing) and I am IN LOVE! Amazing service and quality work. Will come here for all of my piercings when I’m in N.C !

As someone who has had three dozen piercings done in her life, this is the only place I go to now. I adore the staff, the atmosphere, the jewelry options, and the wide range of information given. You won’t regret getting a new hole from Peaceful Piercer!

10/10 experience! I have wanted a septum piercing for so long but I was always scared to get one, I finally took a chance and went out and got one! Amber made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process, she answered all of my questions/concerns and made me feel at ease! The process is super quick and easy! Very happy with my piercings! Online booking was easy and fast. I tend to get light headed depending on pain/location of the piercings I’m getting, and Amber was very knowledgeable and prepared for when that would happen. 10/10 would recommend and definitely come back for more!

Took my daughter to have her septum pierced and they were so patient with her anxiety. Their sterilization processes are absolutely impeccable, I have had many piercings and tattoos and have never witnessed the process like they follow. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and will absolutely be back!

Wow, this experience far exceeded our expectations. I feel like everyone should know about this hidden gem! We were looking for a place for our daughter to get her ears pierced for her 10th birthday. I am so thankful that someone suggested Peaceful Piercings to us.The piercing professional, Amber, really knows her stuff! She is technically savvy, extremely clean, and she has an artists skilled eye and hand for the technical part of piercing. Beyond the technical, Amber and her office assistant Chassidy were kind and prompt, and they put us at ease during every step of the way. I love their body-positive emphasis. They made sure that Jordan, as a minor, gave her enthusiastic consent for the piercing, since its altering her own body for non-medical, aesthetic purpose. What a great local business!

Wonderful expierience. Very clean, knowledgeable, and even had things for autistic my son who got his septum pierced, such as a weighted lap pad, noise cancelling headphones, and fidget toys. Really pretty jewelry at a great price.

Went to peaceful piercings for the first time after googling piercing studios and seeing it was woman-owned, which i love to stop in new places and support. I’ve been to a few piercing places but I can say that i’ll never go to another one again, except this one! Lovely, clean environment and very friendly and informative staff. Getting my nose pierced was so quick i was in and out, and my piercer was so gentle and kind. I definitely recommend!!

I love my piercings! Amber was wonderful on explaining as to why it wouldn’t be the best to get 4 cartilage piercings in one visit and help educate me. I was still able to get multiple piercings. Amber is so lovely and amazing when piercing. She is calming and very knowledgeable. Got three piercings done. Absolutely loved Amber and her receptionist (Im terrible with names and forgot hers sorry lol) extremely clean and warm welcoming inside. Both of them were extremely nice and explained everything very well, along with going over pricing and jewelry very thoroughly to insure I got what I wanted while staying in budget. I brought my 7 year old daughter to get her ear lobe’s pierced. She had a lot of anxiety and a history of passing out when she does bloodwork. The whole process was smooth and everyone working were so kind. They went the extra mile to help my daughter feel comfortable and advocate for herself. It was a busy day but we had an appointment and there was hardly a wait time. I felt like they really took their time to make sure to answer any questions and make us comfortable. It was a very welcoming and clean environment. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in piercings and am now wanting to get another piercing for myself after this experience.

We took our 7 year old daughter to get her ears pierced on Friday night and it was the ABSOLUTE most amazing experience, we couldnt have dreamed of anything better! From the minute we walked in to this very clean place we were greeted with warm welcomes and felt very relaxed in the calm environment. Once we got to the back with Amber, we were genuinely blown away by the whole experience. This is not just getting your kids ears pierced.. its seriously a whole EXPERIENCE and we appreciate how much she puts into it! She is AMAZING, patient, so warm and caring, and we love the way she spoke to our daughter about this being her body and how she is in charge! The second our daughter said ow! Amber knew how to get her attention on something else which instantly made her start smiling/laughing. No crying! Our daughter walked out of there with BEAUTIFUL earrings, treasure box toys, a lolli pop and an adorable certificate! Just blown away from beginning to end! My daughter didn’t end up getting her ears pierced, but what I absolutely loved, is that nobody pressured her, nor made her feel like their time was being wasted. I personally get anxious about wasting someone else’s time, but they just made us all comfortable.

I had the most amazing experience! I wanted to get my nose pierced but my skin is so sensitive. I’ve had my ears pierced 3 separate times throughout my life and my skin did not react well at all. So, when I found Amber, I was so excited! Her credentials are insane! And she was so professional, peaceful, and very clear about aftercare instructions.Also, the lady that helped me pick out the jewelry was so nice! My daughter and I came in yesterday (11/6) for earlobe piercings for my daughter. The experience was beautiful! I cannot recommend Amber enough!The initial piercings went perfectly and even though my daughter was nervous, Amber put her at ease! My daughter needed a few minutes in between each ear and Amber seemed to know exactly what she needed and that alone is the best I could have ever asked for!! She saw my daughter wanted her ears done and knew exactly how to proceed, especially for round 2. Amber used the flat back earrings, which are amazing!The swelling went down before we reached home (live about 45-50 minutes away). And the redness was nonexistent.As for this morning, there is little to no swelling in either of her ears. The second ear, does have a tiny bit of swelling but, not even noticeable unless you’ve kept a close eye on her ears (which I have 😅). She has a small bruise on the back of that same ear and that’s mainly due to my daughter moving a little more for her second piercing.The price, at first, threw me for a loop but today, it’s 100% worth it!!! There’s no gunk (like you get with the piercing gun), no heat from swelling/irritation (believe me, I keep checking) and no blood! I’d have done a bit of a better earring if it was in my budget but Amber assured us it is still a very safe metal.Amber, thank you! Thank you, for your attentiveness to myself and my daughter. Thank you, for staying calm and knowing what my daughter needed, even better than I did! And thank you, for not laughing when I was the first one to cry🤦🏼‍♀️😂100000000% will be coming back for any future piercings!!!

We had a great experience with Amber. Everything was so sterile. She explained each step and my daughter felt very comfortable with the whole process. This was our third time having her ears pierced and each time she either got an infection or it made a lot of scar tissue. This was very different process than what we had in the past. She used very unique earring backs and explained exactly how to take care of them. We highly recommend Peaceful Piercings!

It’s so clean and everything is so new & I love Amber! She’s so professional and sweet. I went here for a piercing and got a consultation first which she was very open and honest and thought I shouldn’t re-pierce because of possibly of rejection. Although I wanted it badly I appreciate her professionalism and she was so nice ! She’s not all about a dollar she cares about her customers. Amber is personable, professional and trustworthy. She keeps everything sterile, explains what she’s doing and why, and even advises when she doesn’t think a piercing might not work. Her products are high quality titanium guaranteed. She gives aftercare if needed and has fixed two of my other piercings, two other piercers messed up! I won’t go to anyone else. Did I mention she’s colorful and fun and has fidget toys?! Recommended for sensory sensitive, neurodivergent folks!

Very happy with my visit! Amber was very kind and informative, I got my septum done and she was amazing at explaining the whole process to me especially since I’m new to piercings. I definitely plan on going back for any future piercings!

At 5 my son asked to have both ears pierced, so I took him to Amber. She was very good at keeping him informed. She explained everything to him as it happened so he knew what to expect. He wasnt scared at all. She made sure he was comfortable before proceeding. He says he barely felt the first one and didnt feel the second at all. I especially like that she and her shop are LGBTQIA+ friendly. Id recommend her to anyone looking for a piercing.

Everyone is so nice and helpful! I love my flat ear piercing and 4th lobe piercing. No pain after the piercings, 2 days later still no pain. Bought the cleaner which I recommend, sterile spray that is cooling to the site. Very clean, sterile environment while preforming the piercing. Will return again.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! You guys!!! When I tell you I have never felt so at ease before I mean it! I had my husband drop me off while he ran errands with my 3 kids and I swear to you, the atmosphere is exactly what the name is PEACEFUL, I was able to sit and relax that I I totally forgot I got dropped off- and it’s SUPER SUPER CLEAN!!!I’m sorry I can’t remember her name but the receptionist was so friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. Amber is the woman!!! She reassured me of my concerns. Talked me through the entire process. Isn’t just about the business but the clients too! Super nice, super friendly, knows her $hit!!!! I would recommend this place to my grandmother.

I have gotten 7/9 piercings with Amber. Always takes her time to make sure I’m okay throughout the process, if im okay with the marks for the piercings and i love how she tells me what she’s doing while shes doing it. Her store and her staff are so pleasing. I’m not done getting piercings and I’m only getting more with only her!

I took my 8 year old to have her ears pierced and the experience was exceptional! Amber was caring, patient and explained everything. Bonus- my daughter said it didn’t even hurt!

I did a lot of research before choosing this studio. All of my expectations were exceeded. From the moment I walked in to door, I felt very comfortable with my decision. I was cheerfully greeted and an explanation of appropriate paperwork and procedures provided. Once paperwork was completed, I was assisted with picking out the jewelry that was appropriate for the location and type of piercings I was looking to get. Feedback and recommendations were also provided based on my choices. All jewelery was treated in autoclave prior to use, sterile procedures were followed at all times (as a nurse, this was very important) during marking, piercing, jewelry placement and cleaning. Throught the entire visit, my comfort was always their first priority and education was thoroughly provided. In total, I had 3 new piercings in my right ear and bought 3 other pieces of jewelry to have placed in previous piercings that they also sent through the autoclave prior to placement. Great care was provided at all times. I could not have asked for a greater experience. I highly recommend visiting Peaceful Piercings for all of your needs. I will return.

Studio is very clean and beautiful. The staff are sweet and informative. They fit me in on a busy Saturday when my tragus earring broke and had a temporary one in that was irritating it. They helped me pick a new earring and got me back quickly to get it changed. Will definitely be back! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Most certainly not a peaceful experience. The piercer made my child so anxious. It was not a pleasant experience for her first piercing experience, so disappointed. I strongly discourage parents to take their child for their first experience to this place. She goes into the great description of the process, which makes their imagination go wild, and then become very anxious. Very disappointed in my daughters first experience of getting her ears pierced.

I love this place! The entire shop is clean and smells so fresh. When I reached out to the owner about a concern I had regarding my daughters ear, she got right back in contact with me via messenger. They have the right name because they remain calm at all times which helps keep me calm.

I wrote a review on yelp, but I want to make sure it gets online, too. I got two piercings done here in my ears, and was told by a real, professional piercer, that these two piercings were done incorrectly. I was told that one was done at an awkward angle and she used jewelry that should’ve never been used to start with. I was then told that the other one I got was infected because of her poor choice of jewelry. I sprayed my piercings three times daily, never slept on same pillowcase, and still got infected thanks to her awful piercing skills and choice of jewelry. What’s so interesting is that when I asked you if you wanted to downsize it or if that was smart rather, you replied “it shouldn’t need it”. I actually came to you for a downsizing of both piercings and you specifically only did the one. Also, what’s interesting is that you pierced it incorrectly with jewelry that should never have been used to start with, according to someone who actually pierces people with no infections.

The best piercing experience Ive ever had. She is the only fiercer I could find without driving 30 miles that carries titanium jewelry like neometal. Everyone else has cheap steel. She is also the only one that even knows about downsizing and automatically schedules follow up appointments to do downsizing for cartilage piercings. Shes next level compared to these jokers around here. The shop is so clean and brand new and her room is so calm and pretty. Shes so sweet and helpful. Im never going any were else.

Got my septum pierced today and my piercer was wonderful! Let me hold a fidget to squeeze and made sure everything was perfect! Will keep coming back!
