Kustom Thrills Tattoo

I’ve had nothing but great experiences at Kustom Thrills over the last several years. Jerry (gmmtattoons) has given me 8 tattoos and each is incredible. Jerry is not only extremely talented but he’s a genuinely nice guy too. Five stars each to the shop and Jerry.

I visited from out of town, & this shop was recommended to me. I chose Jared based off what i was wanting & what his portfolio looked like. Let me tell you, probably the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had. He was great! Very personable & easy to work with! I highly recommend this shop & Jared! Shop is clean, everyone is nice.

I have only great things to say about this tattoo shop! We were in town for the Turkey Convention & decided on last minute tattoos!First the shop itself was so awesome and had a great atmosphere and kind people. We were greeted so kindly when we walked in the door! Everyone is so nice & friendly!Our artist nailed our tattoo and did a wonderful job!Id highly recommend this place if you are in the Nashville area and want to get a tattoo!

1000% recommend Jared! Came in as a walk in for a tattoo not knowing they were about to close. He made us feel SO welcome and stayed late to do my tattoo. Amazing experience at Kustom Thrills today. Everyone was super nice, no weird macho energy. Shop is very cool, clean and they have the best high quality sturdy chairs/tables I’ve had when getting tattoo’d which is important when you’re sitting or laying for extended periods of time. My artist Z really hit the nail on the head with what I was going for with my dog portrait in a specific style. It made me excited that she was excited about it. Other artists were interested in each others works which made for a fun atmosphere. Z is so talented and new to the shop and as much as I want to gatekeep her, go see her! Cannot wait to come back and so glad I finally found a shop I feel comfortable in and an artist I love after bouncing around shops in Nashville.

Was on holiday last week from Ireland and been wanting a cowboy boot for a very long time. I just walked in with no appointment but Tattoo artist was extremely accommodating and so was the receptionist. Was in the tattoo chair in no time and absolutely LOVE my tattoo. Was the least painful one I have gotten and we all had a good laugh in the shop, making the experience one to remember. I can’t stop looking at it, best souvenir of Nashville! Next time I’m there I’ll be getting another one. Thank you!

OMG!!!! This place was so awesome! So clean! A friend of mine went there got a tattoo and turned out great! Cait Bush did it and was awesome to work with. Got my 1st tattoo done by Chris Saint Clark, a portrait, and from the conversations and comfort all the way to the art it was an amazing experience that I’ll never forget! I would suggest or advise anyone looking to get a portrait or tattoo in general to let Chris do the honors 🙏🏽 🙌🏽

I have only amazing things to say about this shop! First the shop itself was so cool and had a great atmosphere and kind people. Me and my two friends came in as walk ins and they happily took us with smiling faces. The artists worked so quickly, while still taking time to be precise, give us exactly what we wanted, and overall just did a beautiful job. Amanda was the tattoo artist who was working with me and she was amazing. Amanda was able to calm my nerves the entire time and talked me through every step. She was very kind, understanding, and just badass. If I’m ever back in Nashville I’ll definitely be back again!

I got a tattooed by Honey Hollow tattoos on instagram and it was such a pleasant experience! It was my first tattoo and I was so anxious going in but the vibes were immaculate and my artist really went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and educated the entire time. I’d rate it 20 stars if I could! :)

Forrest was my tattoo artist; they did an amazing and quick job! Highly recommend this place for first time tattoos; they help educate you as they provide good service and skill.

I came here for my very first tattoo! I had Jerry who was very thorough, detailed, & explained everything to me. He was super nice! My BFF had Savanah who was super cool too! We love our beautiful tattoos!!!

Kyle Ward (kyledubb) did such an excellent job on taking my standard example I pulled off google image, and making it all custom. It was his own great creation, and proved an excellent touring artist.The facility is great, roomy, comfortable, and clean. Great first tattoo experience. Wouldnt have it any other way, and they finished it in one session.

This photo doesnt do the tattoo justice since you cant see all of it but Adam knocked it out of the park. After years of following him on IG Im glad to say Ive finally gotten some of his work. Super clean shop and we started of time which I always find to be awesome. We hit it off talking about baseball. Make sure to not talk poorly about the Cubs if you dont want a bad tattoo lol. My buddy who came with me got his first tattoo as a walk in by Violet and she also knocked it out of the park and was super funny.

We were on vacation and out for dinner and we were like hey lets see what this place is like. Looked them up online and we decided to walk over after our dinner. The talked with us drew up what we wanted and then got us seated to get the job done. The staff was very sociable and genuine. Thanks for making our vacation a memory that will last.

Got a tattoo of my mothers birth year on my knuckles for the anniversary of her passing and my guy did an awesome job! It healed beautifully and I get so many compliments on it. Thank y’all, I’ll definitely be back!

I posted a review on here Two weeks ago about my experience and how poorly it was. My first artist failed at communicating with me and letting me know ahead of time on how things work for him (which was coming up with the design/artwork day of tattoo). I waited over 7 weeks for a tattoo and was let down. I got so irritated that I started to give up on this shop! But Chris the owner reached out to me and helped me out and changed my whole perspective on getting tattoos and also getting me a new artist at his sister location!!! I was deeply impressed by Chris’s care and concern about me and all his clientele and how determined he was to change my perspective and prove his company is the best! He turned this experience around and made changes within his business to benefit the future. I took it to heart of Chris reaching out to just a regular guy like myself and showing his concerns and wanting to fix the issues and introduce new policies amongst his crew during this hard time! I was very impressed and pleased with my second go around with my new artist Kyle that I will be returning to them again for more work that I want done! Kyle was fantastic with communication and gave me a great piece I can appreciate forever. Kustom Thrills continues to impress, and make things right for their clients. 5++ stars.

Jerry and Forrest are amazing! I am so pleased with the 3 tattoos I had done on my visit from Washington State to Nashville. I would definitely fly out to have them do more! Honest and professional.

Had to get a cover-up the Artist Brandon Henderson, was professional and Clean & quick, my tattoo looks Amazing you cant even tell it was some Ugly drawing under it :), will be the only place from now own that Ill get a tattoo from!

I had a decent experience. I went in for my first tattoo after making an appointment. The shop was super clean, and I felt very comfortable initially. The artist took his time to draw my design and make sure it was perfect. I have wanted a tattoo for several years but it took a super personal experience to finally decide on something I wanted on my body forever. I did feel a little judged about it being my first tattoo and about my design (which was very sentimental, personal and one a friend had drawn for me). Almost like the artist didn’t think I quite fit in because it was my first tattoo and a simple single line no color drawing. I also did not get a lot of information about care afterwards and left with several questions I had to google because I felt silly with reaching back out and asking. I did email my artist a question and he replied quickly. Again, a nice, clean shop. If you already have tattoos and know the drill, it’s the place for you. But if you’re new to the game, don’t fit the “mold” and a little nervous, maybe look somewhere a little more inviting/inclusive. I think it would have been great to have left with a handout on care (but I’m that person who needs a handout). I am pleased with the artwork overall, just maybe would have felt better if the artist had been a little more personable and understanding toward people who come in looking for a great first tattoo experience.

I had a great experience at Kustom Thrills! This was my first tattoo so I was very nervous. Jake Omen was my tattoo artist and I couldnt have asked for anyone better! He made me feel comfortable the whole time. I am totally in love with my tattoo! Before I came in, he was always quick to respond to my emails. The studio was very clean and had a fun atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Went in last Thursday to discuss pricing and and set up an appointment for a tattoo. Interacted with 3 different employees...all very kind, polite and helpful...and finally made an appointment with Blake Owens.I showed him the piece I wanted done and he took pictures of it with his phone to work on a design format. When I showed up for my appointment, he showed me what he come up with, which was exactly what I wanted. His station was neat and clean and he was done fairly quickly. He used a new product, new to me, anyway, since its been ages since Ive gotten a tattoo and told me how to proceed with care and upkeep.I was very pleased, overall, with the entire experience and will definitely return for more work in the future. Highly recommend!

Im a 65 year old gentleman that has never had a tattoo. I lost my son 4 years ago and wanted a specialized tattoo to remind me of him. Adam did an excellent job that I was extremely happy with.

I got a small walk in tattoo with my friend and boyfriend last year and I love it. We were tattooed by Blake and he did such a great job, super customer service oriented! I will definitely return for another tattoo with him.

Never gotten a tattoo before, but I did about a month ago. And I’ll definitely say, the atmosphere is comfortable and chill. The artists and staff is super friendly and fun. I went in for a walk in tattoo, and Cait Bush did my tattoo, and she was amazing and had such an amazing personality. I have yet to go back, and I will definitely recommend this place for my friends or anyone who wants a tattoo.

Hayden Combs is an artist. He pays attention to detail, he listens to his clients on what they want, and he delivers. This particular piece of art took 14.5 hours to complete. With interval breaks, he did not stop for anything. He kept going using a single point needle for the entire project. The tattoo has perfect detail with concise precision and design with no detail spared. Very content with how it turned out. By appointment only.

Beyond professional!! Clean, organized, prompt responses via email and phone, exceptional customer service. Forrest Pollock is a talented artist who was able to bring my tattoo ideas to life and did a beautiful job. I have two more pieces that I cant wait for him to do later this year and I will gladly continue traveling from Knoxville to Nashville to get tattooed at Kustom Thrills.

My wife called to set me up an appointment for Christmas with Ryan. The receptionist said I needed to come in for a consultation. She told the receptionist that I didnt get off work until after 4, the receptionist said that anytime after 4 would be perfect. I arrived at 4:30 for my consultation and the receptionist said Ryan was picking up t shirts and she didnt know what time he would be back. I didnt feel like waiting for an unknown time so I figured I would come back tomorrow. Come to find out Ryan didnt work tomorrow. Later that evening I decided to go more the black and grey route. I did some research and noticed a tattooer here by the name of Abel would be perfect for what I wanted. I called the shop and asked if Abel would be there tomorrow. The receptionist told me that yes he would in fact be there. I told her I wanted to SCHEDULE a consultation. I told her I could be there at 5. She said he had a tattoo starting at 5 but he could definitely talk to me. I decided I would come 15 minutes early so I wouldnt interrupt anything. When I arrived I told the same receptionist I was there for a 5 pm consultation with Abel. She looks over at him and said hes tattooing but if I could wait he could talk to me. I waited for over an hour and nobody ever came over and gave me an update or asked to reschedule. I ended up walking out frustrated 2 days in a row. I cant fault the artists in this but, there is definitely some communication issues between the receptionist and the tattooers. I would recommend scheduling a 15 minute block for consultations instead of just winging it. Makes for upset ex-potential customers. They have great artists here, but other shops are WAY more organized with scheduling and communication between artist and client. Were in Nashville, there are a lot of great artists at a hand full of great shops. I considered Kustom Thrills top 3 based on artists alone. You have to set yourself apart by creating an easy experience for the client. I never once spoke to an artist and I was there 2 days in a row for consultations. I ended up scheduling a Friday appointment in the future at another shop just by emailing the artist on a Sunday mind you (shop was closed and it was his day off). A couple pics sent back and fourth, paid the deposit online and the artist sent me a calendar invite via email. This is how it should be done.

This place is fantastic! Matt Monroe did an amazing job with my tattoo and I could not be happier with his work (he seriously went above and beyond my expectations). The pricing is more than reasonable, as well, and you could not go wrong with absolutely any of the artists here - theyre all incredibly talented.Its also conveniently located right across the street from a paid parking lot (I paid $12 for 6 hours to park there) so if youre coming from out of town, or arent familiar with the area, its nice to be able to park there and walk a very short distance to the shop.I will definitely be going back here. If youre looking for a really chill shop full of insanely skilled artists then Kustom Thrills is absolutely the place you need to go.

This place is top notch! The wife and 3 Cousens wanted to get tattoos while we were on vacation and they blocked out 4 hrs for the girls! line work was fantastic tattoo healed up nice! definitely will go back and get one done there again!

I went to see Blake Owen for my first tattoo and it was the absolute best experience I could’ve asked for. Everyone, including the receptionist Keelie, was so kind and cool. In LOVE with my tattoo and will be a repeat offender. Go here!!

Hayden did my 1st ever tattoo about a week ago and hes a dope artist!! Very welcoming, comforting, and a anime geek like me! 😂😎 I was surprised at the environment because Im used to the grungy rock and roll vibes at tattoo shops. When I walked in everything felt relaxing, smooth, and comfy!! Dope place with dope artist that also seem like they all get along as well which makes the vibes that much more positive. Love the place, love the people, love the art work!

I had an amazing experience at Kustom Thrills! I worked with Nathan to get my very first tattoo. I walked in and was immediately greeted and quickly helped. All the artists are super nice and helpful. Nathan was extremely professional and kind. I would rate higher if that was possible.

Awesome place for getting your ink done, Ive had 3 of my (currently) 4 tattoos done here and the level of professionalism as well as friendly atmosphere keeps me coming back, have #s 5 and 6 upcoming. Super friendly staff, patient, willing to make edits of custom artwork, fairly priced, and willing to work with you. Id highly recommend this studio over others in town. My 1st tattoo was at a Midtown studio that was double the price and very arrogant. KT is the exact opposite of that.

Chris Saint Clark did a portrait of my late son that is out of this world! Hes very caring and takes pride in his work. The detail and likeness he captured is nothing short of amazing!!!! Hayden Combs did an AMAZING job on my tattoo. I had been holding on to a picture for at least 10 years, maybe even longer, knowing I wanted a tattoo of it but I also wanted to make sure I had the right artist do it and Hayden was the perfect one!! It was in the mist of Covid, so the studio was quiet but that just meant they were taking precautions seriously, which I appreciated❤️ We definitely plan on taking another trip from Georgia to Tennessee to get a b nother tattoo from Hayden!

I just got my first tattoo today done today by Chris at Kustom Thrills. It was the best experience I could have hoped for. I had wanted a tattoo for a very long time. I had been sitting on one particular inner forearm design for over a year and after a lot of online portfolio browsing I submitted my ideas to Chris. Walking in I was excited but nervous, especially when I learned that some of the details I had imagined might not be possible. That being said, Chris was cool about helping me control my nerves and made sure I was happy with what his plan was before we began. Tattoo took about an hour and fifteen minutes, and sitting here this evening (several hours later) I am extremely satisfied with the result. The tattoo turned out perfect. I highly recommend anyone looking for a tattoo artist to check out Chris Saint Clark and Kustom Thrills, and I am sure I will find myself back there again.

I got my first tattoo ever this week. It was done by Adam at Kustom Thrills and I am absolutely thrilled! It is amazing, and I really enjoyed meeting Adam. He was super nice and made me feel at ease. Hes not pretentious like some tattoo enthusiasts can be. I cant wait to go back and get my next one!

I thought this shop would be amazing to get some additional tattoos from their reviews, but unfortunately I was never able to experience their services. This rating is based on service alone not talent. I came in after working and waited at the reception desk for over 20 minutes for someone to help me out but instead I was ignored. Another individual came in after me and within 3 minutes was greeted and ask how he could be helped. I just had to walk-out and leave. I made eye contact with many individuals while I was waiting at the desk and was never helped....

This may be a little lengthy, but it will be worth your time. Let me first say that I am not an artist, but I have been getting tattooed for about the last 18 years all over the United States. In that time you learn a lot from the start of your first tattoo to the first large piece you get done. You learn to look closely at line work, shading, art, price, the cleanliness of the studio, how customers are treated, and you learn to patiently wait for an appointment that may be scheduled a month or two out. If you want the best, you have to be willing to wait for it.Kustom Thrills (specifically Adam) is worth the wait and over the past 18 years, they are one of the best tattoo studios that I have had the privilege to visit. The staff is friendly, the studio is spotless, and the artwork is exceptional. This isn’t your “run of the mill” street shop where you can just point to a design and a number on the wall and say I want that one. This is a tattoo studio where true artists live and put their heart into each piece. This is the place where new tattoos and trends are born. We told Adam what design aspects we were looking for and an exceptional one of a kind tattoo was born. It was like some kind of tattoo artist genie in a bottle who created a masterful work of art.I was also surprised at the reasonable price when we were finished. The work was so damn amazing that I thought this one is going to hurt my wallet in a big way. However, that was not the case with Kustom Thrills. I’m not going to list the price, but I can tell you that you are not going to find that kind of work for the reasonable price they charge anywhere else.The bottom line is this… if you want a true tattoo artist, and not just some schlep that is going to toss a stencil on and call it good, then Kustom Thrills is your place. If you’re looking for phenomenal work at a reasonable price, you aren’t going to find any place better than Kustom Thrills. If you want a specific artist that is going to draw, redraw, and keep drawing every detail until it is just perfect before he ever touches his tattoo gun, then Adam is your artist.I think Adam put it best yesterday when he said, “There’s a difference between a customer and a client”. Adam wants to create clients and relationships. It doesn’t get any better than Kustom Thrills and Adam is worth the wait.- The Boase Family

I found Blake through Instagram. He took the meaningfulness of my tattoo and working with me on them into consideration more than I believe anyone else would have. He even worked with my schedule so I could come after work for the last appointment of the day. Blake is a genuine dude!

I dont know how to express how awesome mine and my wifes experience was! We are from Canada and were not to sure what to expect when we were looking for a shop to get ink done but they met and way exceeded our expectations 5 stars not enough.... Nathan was fantastic and was my most relaxing tattoo ive got done. I will be recommending the shop and Nathan to everyone i know thanks for everything!

Made an appointment to get my tattoo a week ago. 45 minutes before my appointment on Sunday my friend texted me saying her tattoo had been cancelled. Waited 15 to see if I would get a call or if mine would be cancelled. Ended up calling 30 minutes before I was supposed to show up and was told all the artists had called in sick. The tattoos look amazing but the fact I was not given a call about the appointment being cancelled 30 minutes prior echoes poor customer service.

I am a creative human with a very extensive vocabulary and i still could never possibly rate this experience highly enough. The design came out better than I could have expected. So yeon kim did my tattoo and has a very light touch, so much so that there were times I didnt know needle was making contact with skin. I will 100% absolutely come back for any and all tattoos i get. This location is where I purchased art work o will take with me to the grave

This place is phenomenal. I was on a waiting list for Black13, but I wasnt up until April. I met with Abel who went above and beyond to help me with my first sleeve. Reasonable price for incredible work. Cant wait to finish it up!

I have had two tattoos done here both by cait. Not only is she nice/easy to talk to but also made sure both were exactly what I wanted and listened to all my concerns. Staff has always been nice in passing, definitely would recomend cait to my friends/would be a return client

Just had a Tattoo done by Jake Omen yesterday. I went in without knowing exactly what I wanted, but showed him some screen shots of tats I liked off the internet. He created an AWESOME design for me, and I couldnt be happier!!! Extremely clean shop, very reasonably priced, and a very friendly vibe. Already planning my next one!!!

Flew from Charleston, SC to Nashville to get my 6th tattoo from Adam. The 1st 5 are amazing and I love them, but this 6th piece absolutely floored me. I got stopped multiple times at my hotel and 3 airports by people wanting to see it. They were as amazed as I am. Adam is a top notch artist and a very cool guy to sit for. Can not recommend him highly enough!

Matthew has done an amazing job with my half body piece. He knows how to read into my body language and adjust areas if im getting too tender. Works fast but works very well!! High quality work

Had an appointment with Adam. He refused to answer my messages or return my phone calls to discuss my project for two months prior to my appointment. He said he would contact me with ideas for my piece and never did. The blond woman that works the front counter acted like I was bothering her when I went back in to meet with Adam face to face. She helped me make up my mind not to work with these people. You should avoid this place if youre looking for seriously professional artists.

Cool spot cant speak for the rest of the Artist, but Matt was cool dude talk, laughed, joke. Think I found a goto artist. Only think that socks is he be booked out month in advance. But good tattoo is with it!

I cant thank yall enough for my tattoo to the guy that done my tattoo a few days ago you did an amazing job I recommend kustom Thrills to anyone wanting to get a tattoo they are the BEST!!!!! Contacted Jake with an idea for.223 casings falling down my leg with smoke rising. Jake did an outstanding job putting the idea to paper. He is a talented artist and I am very pleased with the final outcome on my leg. So much that I am having him work on a cover up for my upper arm.

Worst first impression!!! Called in on a Thursday was told come in on sat at 12 to 1230. We welcome walkins. I was also told I could talk to artist of choice for half sleeve for me and my husband. I walk in on sat 1230. Front desk girl was EXTREMELY RUDE AND SARCASTIC!!! (Bleach blonde hair with pink and a rose tatto on her forearm) she wouldnt even let me talk or explain what I was told on the phone. She cut me off and told me come back monday thats the earliest they have to talk to us. Needless to say I left. Went to another well known shop. Got a small tattoo and so did my husband and we are consulting for our bigger pieces! My advise get rid of that blonde chick if you care about your reputation!

Very accommodating, fairly priced, and professional! They have some great artists in here that know what theyre doing. Would recommend to anyone interested in having a quality, life long tattoo done!

I just got a rib piece done today and my artist Milton had to deal with my screamin and squirmin ass for an hour and a half. and i know it couldnt have been easy to give that tattoo and the shop is very clean and all the artists there are very freindly and very professional. My artist was very willing to to work the price for my budget its a great shop and i would without a doubt recomend this shop to a friend. I love my tattoo

Made an appointment with these people for my sisters bachelorette party. They never took us in, and gave bad communication. They never took us in and wouldn’t take deposit over the phone. Wouldn’t advise to go here

They tried to charge me 300 for a tattoo that my roomate paid 150 for at A nicer shop they were empty and didn’t want to make money he’d rather take 0 than 150 I’d spend my hard earned money elsewhere host was very nice and considerate tattoo artist was rude and not appealing

Went in asked for a nose ring i was told they dont sell jewelry but in the pictures it clearly has body jewelry and nose rings plus the red head seemed bothered that i even asked sorry if i ruined 2 seconds of your time.
