Could not have asked for a better experience at Redbird Tattoo today. As soon as you walk into the shop, the vibe is just so chill, professional, and welcoming. Matt is such a down to earth guy, is mega kind, and of course has MAD tattooing skills. So impressed and thankful all around for a great experience!

He has given me the most beautiful pieces of art! I give him ideas of what I like and he always creates something unique that speaks to me! His work is magnificent! Highly recommend!!

I’ve been going to Matt for 4+ years now. Every experience I’ve had since I started going to him in 2020 has been incredible. The atmosphere and environment Matt and his team has created is very warm and welcoming. Despite the studio itself, which is clean, organized, and decorated with the artists’ drawings and artwork for sale, the tattoos that come out of the studio are stunning. The artists are passionate about what they do and it definitely shows!

Matt Jackson did an amazing job with my tattoo, as always. It was my second time getting ink from Matt and he makes the experience exactly what you hope. He is a very cool, respectable dude with a lot of skill. My last piece was very important for my mom and I couldn’t have asked for a better memorial for her, I know she’d be so happy. Definitely recommend!

I absolutely love my tattoo! Alyssa did such a great job and took her time to make sure it was perfect! I asked her to try a little bit different style than she was used to and she nailed it. She made sure to ask questions to make sure it was 100% what I wanted 😀

I got my first tattoo here! Jacob listened to my story- and drew up my dream. While the symbolism only makes sense to me- the art speaks loud and clear.Jacob made the process simple and painless. The only thing I felt was my old bones wanting to change positions.And wow- it is beautiful art. I can’t say enough good things about this place and the artists. Using their artistic skills- they translate your dreams into walking art.I already have my eye on my next tattoo!

Redbird is a beautiful shop. Nicely decorated and very welcoming. The rooms you get your artwork done in are private rooms, so you really get comfortable. Matt and I shared some awesome conversations and I learned about him and why he took up the craft. If you are considering getting a tattoo, I highly recommend you come in! Amazing guy, amazing work. Matt had been my tattoo artist for years and is the only artist I trust to bring my tattoo ideas to life. He has always made his studios feel welcoming and safe which is incredibly important.Bridge has been my piercer since I began getting piercings and they have always done an amazing job. They’re always sure to make you feel relaxed and talk you through the process.I cannot recommend this shop more!

Incredible talent in this studio and even cooler humans! I have and will follow Matt & his team wherever they may end up. I have several American Traditional pieces by Matt, a piercing from Bridget and a shirt from The Rusty Nova boutique inside the shop. Always a comfortable and smooth experience. Was in Nashville just for the weekend. Decided I would get the tattoo I’ve wanted for quite some time. Just happened to come across Redbird Tattoo and decided to stop in. I was instantly met at the door by the lady everyone calls “mom”. She was super friendly as well as all of the other staff. Miles came up a short time later, I explained and showed him what I was wanting. He said absolutely no problem. Made an appointment for the next morning and when I came in he had all the art ready to go. The final product turned out great. The atmosphere was fantastic. Everyone involved was extremely professional and welcoming. I will definitely be back!

Bridget at RedBird was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, clean, and safe during my piercing appointment. I got my eyebrow and two ear piercings done and I wouldn’t recommend anyone go anywhere else besides Bridget. Best in the state!! The shop was clean, welcoming, and accessible!

The folks at Redbird outdid themselves! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, everyone is so welcoming and accommodating! They had complimentary snacks and drinks, which was such a great touch. My son’s been wanting his ears pierced for ages & kept asking, so I called on a whim and they worked to fit us in day of! Bridget (our piercer) was amazing with our 9 year old and made him feels so comfortable, answering his questions and calming his worries. The process was so quick and he didn’t even flinch! It was an outstanding experience and we can’t wait to recommend this place to everyone we know!

Matthew and his crew are great and they have a comfortable space! He did a sleeve of cat portraits for me and a couple other pieces. I love how he was able to create a really cool and unique design off of the ideas I came to him with while still representing each cats personality in his art!

Update- thank you to the owner for letting me know what happened and offering to make it right. I appreciate it.I understand everyone has their own unique experiences, and they may be completely different than mine. That being said, Im going to share my experience.I tried to get a piercing during their Friday the 13th sale. I came in at 5 PM and signed my name. I was told to provide my phone number and they would call me when they were ready for me. They told me it would be around an hour wait because there were 4 people ahead of me, and that it would be ok for me to leave and come back once theyre ready.I left and was gone for 2 hours. I never received a call, so I stopped back in to see if they were close to calling me. The person up front said I was next in line. The piercer was with someone so I sat down to wait. 30 minutes later, the piercer was finished and when they came up to the front desk, they called someone else. They didnt even check the list.Im not sure what changed in those 2 hours I was gone, but at that point I decided to leave. As Im writing this another hour later, I still have never received a call or a text.Im not saying this place is the worst, or that people shouldnt go here. This is just my experience and it left me quite frustrated that I possibly wasnt told the truth when I first signed in, or maybe I was skipped over in favor of someone else. I do understand sales can make things hectic, and wait times are expected. I just wish things were handled better.

Jacob is amazing! Got my first tattoo here about 8 months ago, he made me feel very comfortable and did an amazing job on my sons initials. Just went back last week for my third. I let him design it this time and it is SO awesome.Tat is still healing, but the design and use of shadowing in the water drop is amazing!
