She was so sweet and made sure all my questions were answered and that I was comfortable! I passed out after while in the lobby and she made sure I was taken care of and even got me water and a jolly rancher! The place is so clean and well maintained. I don’t want to go anywhere else anymore!

Although this is my first piercing, I would not visit anyone else for piercing services other than Diamond Eyez. The staff are knowledgeable, professional, sterile, and compassionate. I was very nervous to get my nostril pierced, but Carmela talked me through the entire procedure in a calm and patient manner. If you want your piercings done right, look no further than Diamond Eyez.

Carmela is by far the best piercer I have ever worked with. Their work is incredibly clean and precise, and she has an awesome selection of jewelry. I would recommend Carmela and Diamond Eyez to anybody looking to get a piercing in New Orleans. To date, they have done 3 of my piercings and atleast a few of my partners. Every other piercing Ive had has healed difficulty, been placed sloppily, and done by folks who are clearly not on the level of Carmela. Locally owned beautiful art and jewelry studio with impeccable customer service! I got real overheat and super anxious during my size refitting for two of my ear piercings. The owner was super patient and understanding. Giving me as much time as I needed to calm down and was super attentive to my anxiety levels. I love the jewelry that I have and the flat back option is exactly what I needed for a sound nights sleep on my ear!

The owner, Vicious, is super sweet and very knowledgeable. She got me a longer bar for my new piercing to fit better and have lots of helpful tips and fixed my problem. Definitely recommend to anyone local or tourists!

If you’re getting a piercing in New Orleans, you have to go here. They’re the only APP certified shop in the city, all their jewelry is titanium, and the owners are so nice! Carmela is so professional and made me feel really comfortable by walking me through the piercing process as it was happening.

Cannot recommend Diamond Eyez and Vicious enough! There are only 2 APP certified piercing shops in Louisiana and I could not image getting my piercings done at any place NOT certified. Vicious was super helpful, made sure everything was sanitized and that all my questions were answered before my piercing. I also liked that I was able to book my appointment so that no one else would be in the studio. If you want your piercings done correctly and with quality jewelry this is the place to go. They have such a great selection of jewelry and I can’t wait to go back and get new pieces :)

Everything was fantastic! Incredible jewelry pieces to choose from. Vicious took time to curate my ear for me. I was never rushed or pressured and she worked in my price range. I went today to ask about my navel piercing. I was extremely lucky to meet with Carmela who was very patient with me and informative about navel piercings in general. She was able to reduce my anxiety about my new piercing and jewelry. I will be going back there to change the jewelry. I wish I had known about this place before I went somewhere else, but at least now I know I will never go anywhere else. Finally decided to get the industrial piercing Ive been wanting in my left ear while on a trip. I called around at a few places before deciding to come here and Im 100% happy I did. They are appointment only since covid started, but that didnt bother me. First piercing Ive had and they explained everything very well and took sterilization seriously. Asked a couple times if I had questions and got honest answers. Also very nice to work with and easy to talk to. Definitely recommend to anyone, experienced with piercings or not.

Vicious was friendly and helpful and the place was nice and clean! She also respected cleanliness and we were seen by appointment. The ambience was awesome and she made us feel like upscale clients even though we are regular peeps. The fish were awesome and the selection was great as well. If you like the piercing experience and like a clean environmen, come to this place.

I got my ears pierced with Vicious and let me tell you she was fantastic. Not only super kind and sweet but just really explained everything step by step and was cool the entire time. In my point of view getting any piercing changes your appearance so it’s normal to be a tad nervous but vicious just really did a fantastic job. I’ll be back soon!

I just wanted to share about how wonderful my experience was here. I had my Tragus done and it was quick and painless. The customer service here was stellar. The were VERY hygienic and explained everything carefully. The piercer was super sweet and let me know each step of the process what she was doing. I really love their jewelry options as well. I feel compelled to leave a review after a phenomenal experience here the other day. I was nervous about getting an ear piercing because my last piercing was done 15 years ago at Claire’s. Carmela was so kind and friendly that I was immediately at ease. I was welcomed into the shop on time and didn’t feel rushed to select jewelry. She did an amazing job and the piercing itself was virtually painless. All my questions were answered and I felt very taken care of. Also, I very much appreciated the Covid safety protocols!! Robert at the front desk was friendly as well and gave me information about where to get a checkup in my hometown (I was in New Orleans on vacation). If I lived in New Orleans, I would never go anywhere else. Proud to support this female-owned business!

This place is awesome! I never write reviews. But Carmela Vicious was so professional, kind and knowledgable that I just had to give Diamond Eyez a shout out. I felt comfortable and well taken care of. I went in to get an irritated piercing removed, and Carmela ended up taking a look at another irritated piercing (free of cost). Diamond Eyez is clean, comfortable and really knows its stuff. I will definitely be going back for future piercings and jewelry. Dope art too!

I had a wonderful experience at Diamond Eyez Piercing today! I am very happy with how my helix piercing turned out. There was an amazing jewelry collection, it was very had to decide on one! Carmela and Rob are very sweet and helpful. They took their time with me, and most importantly took their time sterilizing all of their tools. I am from out of town, but I will definitely visit again when I come back to New Orleans!

I happened to be in New Orleans this weekend and decided I didnt want to wait for my forward helix any longer so I began a Google search and found this place. It is clean and very pretty inside. The piercer is knowledgeable and very professional. Cleanliness and infection control is high on their list, as my piercer changed gloves 3 times during the process. They have a great jewelry selection and reasonable pricing. I was informed of everything step by step. I would go back and refer others. It was a great experience!

I have been going to Ms. Carmela for a year now. She has done all of my most recent piercings and fixed a few existing ones. She and her associate are very professional and knowledgeable about piercings, jewelry, and aftercare. Before going to her, I had the most horrendous piercing experiences from unprofessionalism to infections to piercings that would not heal no matter how well the aftercare. Since being pierced by her, I haven’t had nearly as many healing issues. Any issues that I have had, she is always available and prompt via email. As many emails as I have sent her through out the year, trust me, she’s great with replying. I would consider her service luxury; therefore, the price does match. It is well worth it, though. Especially, if you have high standards in professionalism, service, and quality of jewelry. I, most highly, recommend her and will continue going to her.

Wow, I cannot gush more over how clean, informative, professional and comfortable my experience was getting pierced by Carmela. You can really tell how seriously she takes the art of piercing—she handles every step of the process with so much care. I was blown away by the reasonable pricing too! A whole piercing sterilized, wound wash for aftercare AND a recommendation of where I can go for a checkup? It’s an amazing deal for the expertise and professionalism you receive. Two years ago Carmela did my septum. She couldnt have done a better job! She explained the procedure to me and had thorough answers to my questions. I didnt tell her I was nervous but she sensed it and she really took the time to make me feel at ease. She went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied which is not something Im used to from piercing artists. Since that day Ive had zero problems with my piercing and Ive stopped in from time to time and she happily changed out my rings for me. Also the shop is the best--they stock some really beautiful jewelry unlike some other less interesting pierce shops around town.

Carmela really is the best! She is so knowledgeable, thoroughly keeps things clean and sterilized, and works with you to make sure you’re comfortable and happy during the piercing process. She’s done 5 piercings for me and I won’t go anywhere else.

I came in one day to look at jewelry and everyone was so nice to me and helpful in choosing the jewelry. very patient. I ended up going back to the next day to get a flat and a fourth lobe. very professional, EXCELLENT and QUALITY jewelry, amazing at explaining, explained every step, explained how to take care of the earring and gave a clear explanation of the healing process. If you’re looking for a CLEAN and professional piercing, this is the place to come. Although prices are very high, you’re paying for amazing jewelry and professional piercings. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is for my second visit here for my downsizing. The lady had informed my father and I that the downsizing was included. All I had to do was come in 3 weeks later, and the price initially paid would also include downsizing. Not only did I have to wait over an hour for a minute downsizing, but I had to pay around $17 for the new back. There was miscommunication when I had gone in. The lady working, wonderful and nice lady, must have thought I was with the group before me. Other than everything that happened the second time, my overall experience here was amazing.

My second time here, she does an excellent job and is super professional and kind.They also have a great selection of jewelry. More than I’ve ever seen.

I got my conch pierced on a whim while on a trip in NOLA and had a great experience here. The shop is really cute, very clean, and welcoming. The piercer and the staff member at the desk were knowledgeable about what jewelry would work best in that location for healing. When it came time to actually get pierced, I barely felt it - she was awesome at making me feel comfortable and explaining everything as it happened. The piercing is about a week old and is already healing beautifully - no pain, no swelling! Highly recommended.

I came in to get a few piercings on my ear and had a wonderful experience.They definitely took the appropriate measures having had the right surgical equipment to ensure everything was sterile, that in its self was worth the higher than normal price point. I’d rather pay more money knowing a piercing is done right and in a clean environment than save a couple bucks and risk my own health. They Did a great job talking through the steps and I love the emphasis they put on after care! Also the studs I bought are of great quality and I love them, definitely recommend if you are wanting some piercings!

Hands down the best shop in Louisiana. I got an intimate piercing & they were extremely professional, despite my nerves. Carmella was very reassuring & sanitary. After my piercing, I looked as pale as a ghost and she got me some candy and put a cold rag on the back of my neck. I had such an amazing experience getting my conch done here. It was clean, easy, comfortable, and didnt hurt a bit. I was also given great information on how to take care of my new piercing and was provided with many jewelry options for it! I even got some new jewelry for ear piercings I already had. Amazing staff and very clean and good place to go to get piercings done was very gentle and walked me through every step of the way way making sure I was okay, through the whole process Carmela was sure to be gentle and COVID safe when we walked in she made me sanitize! Wore her mask the whole time! And kept sanitary it is really cool in their shop and they are very nice people, they have a beautiful selection of piercings to choose from and all the jewelry that comes with it, none of it is that fake cheap stuff and I think it makes the piercings look much nicer! Appointment based,which is fine. However I was just looking to browse and they wanted a $10.00 booking fee,TO BROWSE JEWELRY. I could understand pre paying a fee for booking a piercing but to look at jewelry. No thank. Update ( post reply from owner): 1.) Your website is part of a perspective clients experience 2.) My post had nothing to do with safety or your requirements for appointments and everything to do with the fee for browsing 3.) What happens if I dont find jewelry that is suitable? Instant refund? 4.) Take the feedback and keep it pushing, have some humility, not everyone is going to like their experience with you. You need to understand that is ok. My review is not the end of your business, not even close. And most importantly read for comprehension and not to rebut for argument sake 🙄

Extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. I went for my hood piercing and jewelry change to titanium for my nipple piercings. Every time I went I had a great experience with her, her shop is extremely clean and she has great bedside manners ( she’s nice even when it’s about to be painful lol). Will continue to go there, also a great selection of jewelry as well!

Carmela and her husband are absolutely the best professionals in the area! From now until the end of time, I will always recommend her! She is right off of Bourbon, but I will absolutely bring my daughters here if they request more piercings. Carmela gave me a VCH and she was just as professional, patient, and helpful as Elayne Angel was for me a few years ago. I went during COVID times and she absolutely requested that I sanitize as soon as I walked in the door! (Which for me is a HUGE deal! Came here to get my septum pierced in June of 2017. Carmela was wonderful and answered all of my questions I had before doing the piercing and let me know exactly what to expect during the process. I came back a couple months later to get it gauged and she let me know it was too soon to wait a little longer, so she actually cares about the health and healing of the piercing. Since then I’ve been back with numerous friends to get their work done.The jewelry selection is also top of the line!!

Best Piercing Studio in the French Quarter!My husband and I were visiting NOLA for the first time and I wanted to commemorate our trip (and my 50th birthday!) with my first helix piercing! I was encouraged by the great Google reviews I read online and excited with Carmelas quick response to my email and my next day appointment. The shop is so cool with a good selection of jewelery options. Carmela answered all my questions and was very friendly but professional. The sterile environment impressed me a lot. These guys are amazing! I have been to them from the time I was a newbie with my nose ring and they were very patient with me and explained everything, help me find jewelry that I liked and fit my needs, and were very very patient. So much so that I called them during quarantine when everything else was closed and I wanted a new piece. They accommodated me by sending me pictures over the phone, and work with me to find the piece that I wanted and then shipped it to me perfectly. I wouldnt go to anyone else.

My husband went in for an ear piecing, a little nervous, but based on the positive reviews I read to him, he was more at ease. The shop is sparkling clean, the people are lovely, jewelry ranging from the simple (which he wanted) to the sublimely complex & interesting. These folks are ARTISTS! Anybody can be trained to do a piecing, and while you see they are meticulously hygienic, Carmela can also be trusted to view with a critical eye and make suggestions. Such a positive experience . . .My (conservative) husband left with TWO piercings and hes thrilled! I am too.

When the thing that hurts the worst after your piercing is the blister you got from your shoes walking there, you know you found a good piercer. The staff at this shop were so knowledgeable and patient when my friend and I decided to pop in and get a couple of piercings! We watched them open everything up in sterile fashion and coached us through everything that was happening. They were very caring and attentive to us and the other customers that seemed to rush in all at once! Will definitely be going back for more in the future.

When I say clean, I mean clean. I loved that! I dont know about you, but I didnt want to have to worry about something falling off or getting the ick from some nasty ass equipment. Her shop is easy to find & its pretty kick- ass looking inside, if I do say so myself. I went to her for a torso piercing & I left very informed about them. Great experience, Vicious made my friend and I feel comfortable about the process before going through with our piercings. GREAT prices as well. Went in for second piercing a year later but was disappointed with the location it ended up being it. Location looked good when drawn out but actual piercing ended up under my ear fold and its hardly noticeable.

*Im writing this review about a month after my nose piercing. Get pierced here!*The shop is cute and very unique--original artwork on the walls and the lobby seats are bathtubs modified into couches--love it!Carmela, the piercer, is a walking work of art herself--a stunning, ethereal fairy. When she pierced my nose I didnt feel any pain--no kidding! (If you get pierced, keep the piercing CLEAN and dont pick at it, especially if its dry and still trying to heal).Carmela and her husband at the front counter were nice and knowlegeable. My friends were a little bit rowdy when we came in, but they took them pretty well I think ;-)I had a slight issue where the pearl-shaped stud kept sinking down into my thick skin while I would sleep. After 3 weeks that was easily remedied by temporarily switching out the labret for a longer stud with a wider jewel. All is well!

I had a belly ring done at another place (Forbiddin Art Tattoos on St. Charles). They seemed legit - They were NOT. I asked Carmela to look at my piercing and it turns out my body was rejecting it because it was done too shallow AND crooked. She blocked out time in her schedule to help me take it out and instruct me on how to care for it. She didnt even charge me! I texted their companys phone after with questions and they answered immediately without any charge. Very grateful for businesses like this! They saved my skin without charging me a penny. Will be recommending this place to everyone and will be getting my belly ring re pierced here!

Wonderful place! Carmella has a good selection of gold and titanium jewelry, a great deal of expertise, a great eye for placing that cute new piercing in just the right place, and a wonderful bedside manner. the only place I will go for piercings- shes pierced me 3 times this year!

I lucked up on diamondeyez one time when I was visiting NO. Best decision ever! I always go back every time I am in town and when I can’t get back I purchase all of my jewelry needs from there online!!! I even introduced my sister to them and she’s the same way! Once Covid settles down I hope to make a trip back! Definitely having withdrawals and I have some ideas for new piercings!

I had a piercing done in March. Its healing fantastically and the peircer did an amazing job. She talked me through the whole process, showing me what she was doing as she went. The facility was clean and welcoming. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Very professional and tools sterilized in front of you to ensure cleanliness. Prices are very reasonable and jewelry is high quality. I stopped in for a tongue piercing and am making plans to go back for daith piercing changes, labret and helix piercings in the future. Tongue piercing with internally threaded titanium stud was $75 total. Very good for New Orleans. My tongue hurts a bit two hours later, but no bleeding and no swelling (side note, it had been pierced before).

Walked up and he opened the door saying I need to book an appointment to browse jewelry, went to book while I was outside of the store and he was still outside with no one in the store, when it said a jewelry browse was $10, I left. Just don’t understand why I wasn’t able to walk in, let alone a charge to just look at their jewelry. Weird business model that probably lost a sale cause they don’t take walk ins. Understand it if it was busy or if I was coming for an actual piercing or jewelry change.

If I could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would! First off, they take sterilization very seriously here. I waited about five to ten minutes for my jewelry/room to be sterilized. After finishing I was told to come back or call anytime if I had any more questions or concerns with my new piercing. 10/10 experience.I tend to over explain things, but incase anyone relies on reviews as much as I do heres a little more on my experience with piercings in general and with Diamond Eyez: After turning eighteen, in the past four years, Ive had up to 19 different holes in my ears- many of them re pierced 2-3 times. From my rook, to double helix piercings, conch, tragus, and basic cartilage piercings. Ive been to a few different shops in the area- mainly going wherever friends dragged me to. This was hands down the best place Ive been to. When I told them I wanted a certain area re pierced for the third time they explained why it could, potentially, cause a few issues. I appreciated them taking the time to make sure I left with the a healthy AND visually appealing piercing. She let me explain what I wanted, where, etc. I ended up having the other ear pierced since it had never been pierced in that specific area. It was great, and I cant wait to go back to get my daith pierced.

I called in to get information on a triple forward helix piercing. The lady that answered the phone was rude and condescending. She was talking fast as if she didnt want to be bothered. Im planning on driving 3 hours just to get this done!! The least you could do is be patient and thorough. Then she said they dont give jewelry pricing over the phone. I asked for a price RANGE not a price. Very inconsiderate of the people traveling in. Ill go somewhere friendlier.

5 stars hands down. I’ve never written a review for anything in my life but tI came in here after having my belly button pierced for 4 months at a different place and she fixed me right up. My previous piercer apparently used horrible quality metals and my belly button was having negative reaction becuase of it and she was very knowledgeable, switched it out and was very clean and professional throughout the whole process. I will be going here for all of my piercings from now!

I asked about 20 minutes worth of questions before going through with the whole process and I actually learned a lot about body/ear piercing care that a lot of other providers did not mention. Wonderful place, very professional. But don’t let them con you into buying their jewelry. It’s nothing special just regular cubic zirconium that’s $5 in a beauty supply store. I was wondering if y’all would do it, and we would get whatever you needed like birth certificate or something, or if you knew of a place..

Everything was very well explained to me and I was given ample time to ask questions. The procedure was fully discussed and I was walked through as it took place. The piercing are set very well on my body and I’m super happy with the results!!!

Tried to take my daughter to get her ears pierced here. Called to make sure they were open. Someone answered and let me know they were open for business including ear piercing. Unfortunately, they failed to mention that it was by appointment only. So after driving all the way to the store and finding a parking space, my 11 year old was devastatingly disappointed to find out they only accepted reservations. This all could have been avoided if the customer service representative had of told us even though they were open, they were only accepting appointments. I know in the future I will be finding a place that has customer service able to equip phone calls and in store customers. This was a major disappointment. Do better!

Sooo glad I got a referral from another shop that doesnt so piercings to this place. The owner was super friendly nice and her husband was friendly as well. Very knowledgeable and everything was sterile. I cant wait to come back to get my next piercing from here.

If you want a piercing in NOLA Diamond Eyes is the ONLY place to go. I came here to have my septum piercing fixed. (It was pierced too high and with a clunky piece of jewelry.) Id never thought of piercing as an art or as a service that required professionalism, but being pierced by Carmella showed me otherwise.Carmella listened to what I wanted, answered all my questions, and put me at ease right away. Id asked several other piercers for a dainty/subtle/delicate septum piercing and no one seemed able to understand. Carmella got it. She measured and tested, and managed my expectations throughout the process, since everyones nose is a little different.She was meticulous throughout the piercing process. My friend who was watching (my eyes were closed) said she could see the skill and precision of Carmellas technique. Shes not just shoving a need through anywhere. She really knows what shes doing. She also used a breathing technique to help me when the needle went in and has studied some healing arts.She also has an amazing selection of gorgeous, high-quality, fairly priced jewelry, so you can love your piercing right away. The tattoo places only carry stainless steel barbells, and I usually cant wait for my piercing to heal so I can change out to jewelry I actually like. For the septum, none of that tattoo places even carried (or would attempt to pierce with) the size I wanted. At Diamond Eyes I got a small, rose gold hoop, which was just what I wanted.Diamond Eyez is piercing only (not piercing and tattoos), so they really provide a level of expertise that you wont get anywhere else. Now that Ive found them, I wont go anywhere else.

This place was amazing, super cool people who were very knowledgeable about piercings. My daith piercing was done beautifully and they answered any and all questions. The piercing sanitiation and procedure was above any piercing place I’ve been to. Most of all the jewelry selection was large and cool! 10/10 would recommend
