We had such a great piercing experience. I took my daughter in law and fell in love with our piercer and the environment so much I decided to get a couple piercings of my own. The store is super clean, staff and so friendly and knowledgeable. Plus the jewelry they offer is really cute.

Becky was awesome! She took her time making sure my placement was exact. Gentle, kind, put me at ease. Thanks for my making my first experience at Rowan awesome! (Nina, too! She rocks!)

I had a great experience at Rowan. I went in to get my Helix pierced and the staff was great. Kim helped me pick out the best piece and explained the process. The nurse who did the piercing was professional and made me feel comfortable before proceeding. The studio is very clean and has a great selection. I would definitely go back.

I rarely leave reviews but felt it necessary to emphasize how great the staff is at Rowan! I was greeted immediately as soon as I walked in, even though it was fairly busy when I first arrived. The check-in process was explained thoroughly. I was able to select the gun method for my second earlobe piercings and a needle piercing for my helix. It’s nice to have the “menu” in front of you as far as methods and selecting jewelry. The price range is wide so there’s truly something for every budget! Chris was very approachable and comforting during the piercing process. He offered to walk me through each step as he was taking them. I opted out because I’m a big baby and just wanted the piercing part to be a surprise so I wouldn’t freak myself out. He humoured me and even distracted me with conversation. It’s been a few months since my visit and I can proudly share that I survived and my ears are doing just great!

We just had our 7 month old daughter ears pierced. Our entire experience was amazing, you were greeted as soon as you walked in by everyone. Mrs. Becky did our daughter piercing and she was theee absolutely best. I highly recommend Rowan👌🏿

Exceeded my expectations! My 4 yo daughter was able to get her ears pierced by Mrs. Nina. We went as walk-ins and was seen immediately. The power was out in the area but they had back up systems in place and were able to take care of us within minutes. My daughter did not flinch or cry! Mrs. Nina has a great technique and a gift for making everyone feel comfortable. Ive already started recommending other family members to Rowan!

I just got a flat piercing, and had Chris help me. Hes so kind and professional. They didnt provide my first choice piercing during this visit, but will hopefully provide it soon. I was NOT disappointed with my next choice piercing! The service is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, and I will return when they are providing the piercing Im looking for next. Rowan is the best. Melanie is my piercing Angel. We connected instantly because she’s such a cool person, but she pierced my cartilage, helped me get a hoop in my nose, and then I went back today to get new earrings and change my posts!Love this location!

***Edit: the company was very nice and offered to redo my piercing. Since I was just visiting, they refunded me the cost of the piercing*** I hate to leave poor reviews but I wasn’t very happy with my outcome, especially after spending nearly $200. The woman that did my piercing was very nice, but one piercing is way lower than the other. They look very uneven. Also, about 10 minutes after getting it done I noticed my right ear hurting quite a bit more than my left. Later in the night my husband put his arm around me and when he pulled it away, the back of my right earring came out. I don’t think the back was on tight enough. I then had to hold my earring in until we got back to the hotel and thankfully I had an extra back. But all that handling really irritated my ear and it got swollen and slightly infected. I was in pain for a week. Three weeks later, my left ear is now sore and hurting. I’ve been following the aftercare instructions to a T. I understand this is a risk with piercing, was just expecting a better outcome from a boutique piercing place, especially with the placement!

I planned to take my daughter to a pediatrician to have her ears pierced but she stopped doing them so I used Google and came across this place. It seemed like a really good idea at first until we got there. For starters, I watched the staff play with a dog and return to work without washing her hands. Disgusting. Then, there were hidden cost that they don’t tell you about before hand. A service we expected to pay around $80 (according to the pricing on their website) for was actually around $165. The cheapest earring selection was $60. They use a piercing gun just like the mall. The piercing itself looks to be healing well. But There’s really not anything special about this place. Not worth the price. I wish I would’ve found another pediatrician to take her to instead.

I am a first-time mom who was looking around to find the best place to get her baby girls ear piercing done. I reached out to other moms on Facebook groups, and a lot of them recommended Rowan along with a few others.I finally decided to go with Rowan, and I am fully satisfied with my decision. They gave the best service.

Awesome experience getting my daughter (7) lobes pierced. They were very patient and kind. Very clean. I got a conch piercing as well and it was very easy. Aftercare instructions were great!

I had been vaguely thinking about getting a piercing for the last several months, but when I walked by the Rowan in New Orleans, something pulled me inside. Perhaps it was the attractive displays, perhaps the nurse connection, but whatever it was, I’m so glad I did. Miriam greeted me warmly, even though they were closing in 30 minutes, and gave me time to consider my options. We landed on a beautiful evil eye helix in the perfect spot. The process was painless and the procedure a breeze. Cannot say enough for this location and Miriam’s genuine care.

I have gotten earrings from here a few times and all of them are still in new condition! The earrings are definitely made very well! The employees there are also so sweet and welcoming! Would definitely come again to get more earrings or if I ever want a piercing!

My sister, who is a local, referred me to Rowan’s Piercing. I live 4 hours away in northern Louisiana and upon touching down in the city, I went straight to Rowan to re-pierce my daughter’s ears (never get piercings from Claire’s for toddlers). I scheduled an appointment on line. It was very easy. Upon entering, I was greeted with warmth and smiles. Everyone was so kind to me and my son and my daughter. My daughter was of course afraid from the initial reaction of knowing what was about to happen, but after shedding a few tears, she was fine. She wasn’t tugging on her ears or anything.I was so impressed, i decided to get a new piercing. Then that turned into 2 new piercings! When I say, they didn’t hurt, I was so impressed. Everyone was extremely professional, sanitary, friendly, and just great vibez all around! And the jewelry collection is very nice. After my original appointment at another place canceled on me, I wanted to get my 6 mo old daughter’s ears pierced that day. My sister and I came by today to add in some ear piercings. We had an appointment set for 3 PM based on our tentative tasks on the South Shore for the day, but wrapped up early. We came by at 1:30 PM and the woman at the cash register kindly bumped us up to 1:45 PM.We picked out some simple 14K gold studs, and we got our piercings done. Quick and easy! Fantastic and efficient job. :)I overall like the look and feel of this shop, lots of fun jewelry to pick and choose from.

Wow couldn’t have had a better experience! Took my 11 month old daughter to get her ears pierced and because of the staff and atmosphere it was so stress free and easy. Annie (I think her name was :/) was super gentle, playful, and precise throughout the entire piercing. She really took her time to make sure the piercing was in the right spot and it turned out perfect!! The girl at the front desk was super helpful and sweet as well. To all the mamas wanting to get their babies ear pierced, this is the place to go!!

Would definitely recommend for baby piercings. Took my 3.5 month old for her ear piercings. Miriam was very sweet and took her time to make sure the piercings were even. Prices seemed reasonable (though I didnt price anywhere else) they didnt seem overpriced. Very pleasant experience. They were even patient with my 5 year old who wasnt being the best listener during his sisters appt.

Got my first piercings done here (lobe X 2) and it all went super well. The nurse answered all my specific questions and ive had nearly no issues with the piercing (got them two weeks ago). I just a few days ago got helix needle piercings done here as well from another nurse who was also amazing.The only minor issue is that the needle piercing starter jewelery options are a bit more expensive than competitors and most of the options were in a high price range. However, I think its worth it given the quality of the piercing. I am very happy to pay a bit more for studs if it means a better piercing. The jewelery is very good anyways. There is just a bit of a mark up but I imagine that other piercing studios do the same markup for starters, although maybe slightly less. I wouldnt go anywhere else!

I went in to the studio to buy earrings. Melanie was the nurse there and she was very helpful with finding the perfect present for my granddaughters graduation. I will definitely be back!!!

I got my helix needle pierced less than a week ago. I’ve not had any pain!! Like almost none. It was a little sensitive the first 3 days but no swelling or redness. I’ll definitely be back.

After 30 minutes of waiting, someone started to assist me I picked out earrings getting ready to get piercings to than be told I’ll have to wait until after they service the two appts that had just walked in. She asked if I had an appt, which I didn’t This being my first experience the door says walkins welcome. Not to mention 30 minutes is a long time to wait just for a greeting. For the price service should be better create a sign in sheet, ask customers what they need when they walk in.

The staff was so nice and asked us what we needed as soon as we walked in. Whenever my friend got her ear pierced they made her feel so calm and were so kind. Overall, such a good environment!
