Highly recommend Flame! I needed a cover up of an old tat. I gave him full creative cartblanche. He free handed my awesome new tattoo. He is also very entertaining. I did not feel much pain and the time flew by very quickly while listening to awesome music and quick witted banter.

Trust me you don’t want to go here it’s a waste of money and your tattoo will look terrible within 3 days. I was charged $120 for the worlds smallest tattoo and the ink they use is so cheap it barely stays in your skin. If you want a jail tattoo then this is the right place to go. On top of that, the tattoo artist named Flame was super rude to me and refused to do my tattoo the size I wanted it, even for over $100. I’m stuck with a $15 jail tattoo that was very important to me and I’m going to sue for my $120 back and extra for pain and suffering!!!!

Jallel did a great job with my tattoo, he took the time to make sure the details were exactly how I wanted them and spent the time to get it right. His details and shading on such a small work were something to be admired. If I’m ever back in town I we’ll definitely stop by again.Edit- updated pictures with the addition of a picture taken a year later. Details still showing and still very happy with the work.

This guy Flame did my half sleeve tattoo. He was recommended all the way in dallas where I live at. I flew down there and left with what might be my best tattoo yet. He was very professional and the shop was one of the cleanest Ive been in ever! He even offered to travel to dallas and do my art work for me there!!!!

Horrible experience with the owner Flame, he is a fraud. None of the work posted is his, he did my tattoo and it was the biggest regret of my life! I wouldnt recommend to anyone ever! Stay away from this guy & shop!

I Went to NOLA for a concert . I got Fantasia to sign my back and I called Flame and made an appointment for right after concert at midnight. HE was so sweet even when I called and said I Would be 15 mins late. HE did a great job on my tattoo . didnt charge a lot of money and it was seamless no pain . I have 4 others and I only use one artist but I will use Flame again when I visit NOLA. I highly recommend him.

Tattoo artist Flame was so rude. Walked by and decided to get a tattoo and I should have kept walking.He live streamed the whole time which was awkward. There were multiple times I felt like he was cracking jokes about me and my partner on the live but we couldnt see what was being said. Overall a weird vibe.I pointed out he forgot to fill in the pupil on my tattoo and he told me to get back and gestured my face away when I was just looking at my tattoo and trying to point to the area he overlooked.Ended up with uneven lines and he didnt want to finish the tattoo which was fine by me because I wanted to leave.I left a review 2 years ago from this experience and noticed it was gone for some reason.**Also my review IS TRUE just like the others with almost identical experiences

Not very professional or welcoming, maybe I caught him at a bad time... went in to get nipple piercings & he had no patience, i have no other piercings besides my ears so I was a bit jumpy. He constantly rolled his eyes & took hard deep breaths, obviously indicating he was frustrated. He explained the steps to the healing process super fast, me & my boyfriend both asked him to repeat 3 times & still caught nothing which led to him screaming at us to USE SOAP & WATER several times aggressively. would not go back & wouldnt recommend for first time piercings. piercings look great but the experience was terrible.

Took art straight from the internet and fussed when I asked for a small change in design. Didnt talk to me or my husband while he was tattooing, which is fine, but was steady talking to the live stream he had going, streamed us without asking or telling us. Ego cant replace skill. By the time he started playing Nickelback, I was happy it was almost over lol.Looking at mine and the pictures in other reviews, the quality he puts out is much different than the quality of art he displays as his own.I cant reply to the comment asking which shop I received the tattoo from, but it was this shop by Flame. Lines werent straight, having someone touch it up with a fix in a few weeks. The tattoos he advertised as his work, I cant believe it was done by him. Completely different skill levels.

Flame is probably the chillest tattoo artist Ive ever experienced. Freindly and talkative, excellent work. Highly recommend

This place was great! Flame was super professional and hilarious, and does AMAZING work! My friends and I went in for a walk-in. It was my first tattoo. He took the time to make sure I got exactly what I wanted, and was really accommodating to my nervousness. And the tat came out great, I love it! Definitely go to him, he’s the best around. 100% no regrets seeing him!

This has been, HANDS DOWN, the best tattoo experience I’ve EVER HAD. The tattoo artist, Flame, is absolutely incredible. Not only is he (easy on the eyes ladies) very talented, but he also created a comfortable atmosphere. Vibes are very important to me, I went somewhere else beforehand and left within 30 seconds. For one, the man doing my tattoo had an attitude🤦🏽‍♀️And on top of that my tattoo detail wasn’t even all that great. I tried to keep myself calm because I didn’t want to get out of character. I pay you money to do my tattoo and you treat your customers like that? I will not be coming back💯.some advice if the owner sees this-FIX YOUR ATTITUDE. You’re lucky I was already in a good mood that night though🤷🏾‍♀️.

I love how the professional comes from the top of the company. To choose such great artist. That puts the customers needs first. By making each customer feel comfortable. The southern hospitality is such an welcoming experience. There always looking out for the community. By keeping a safe and sanitary space..... If you havent gotten tattooed by one of the greats. Definitely set my standards high. Was my first tattoo experience and Flame (the owner) was super easy to work out a piece and flexible with size, shape and placement. Ive got nothing but good words about the shop, the experience, and the artist.

Flame did an outstanding job with my tattoo! He did a shadow chain around my ankle with a heart pendant, a lifeline and sisters connected. I went in his shop with 2 pictures and he did a wonderful job of putting them together nicely. He was really cool and down to earth! Next time Im back in New Orleans I am coming back so he can do some more work on me.

I’m from Atlanta and I stopped by with my 11 friends. I got my nose pierced by Big Flame and he was gentle and cool. The company was fun and I purchased some goodies from them. Definitely recommended.

My very first tattoo in New Orleans and I must say that the owner Flame made my experience very comfortable. To sum it up Flame is Fiyahh!!! Orleans Ink is the best at customer service! I was looking for a good tattoo parlor in NOLA for my friend and I to go to. Flame is the artist at Orleans Ink and deserves to have a five star rating with so many reviews! He was very professional, polite, friendly, and easy to work with in making sure we were getting the exact tattoo we wanted. It turned out great and is healing very fast! Additionally, the equipment he used was much quieter and seemed to hurt less than my other tattoo (from another place). I wish it was a somewhat better part of town, but once we were inside it didnt matter.

Beyond the best expirence I couldve asked for. Request Flame. He is so nice and so incredibly sweet, easy to talk to and fairly priced. All my friends and I got semi difficult places to reach and he was so reasonable. 10/10. Definitely coming back for my other tattoos.

My bro Flame shop was flooded out by the recent rain. After he cleaned out the water and dirt, he took on doing my portrait tattoo of my brother. First ever tattoo and this gentleman made it an extremely easy process. Very welcoming, very accommodating, very professional, even live-streamed the experience. Got married under the Tree of Life in Audubon Park (love you, Babe) and commemorated it with a tattoo. Going to try to come back next year and pay another visit, add some color (?). This guy is a jack of all trades, and master of all, too! Im on tattoo number five and I have never had a better experience- it seems his sane customers all adamantly agree. Such a charmer, and beyond sweet to my mom who was really waffling on whether she wanted to get inked toward the end of mine, and his work blew away the overpriced tattoo artists I have experienced in Hollywood. Flame makes you feel like youre kickin it with him throughout the whole process. As his name implies, this boy is fire.

Orleans Ink was a pure delight. I honestly wish we had it in Atlanta. I came to New Orleans on. Girls trip/ birthday/ Mardi Gras with 11 other women. Initially we went to support 3 of the 12 girls getting tattoos and EVERYONE literally got something… tattoos, nose rings and belly rings! Not the mention they have a dispensary as well. Flame was extremely patient, calm, knowledgeable and calmed any fears or anxiety to make the experience as enjoyable and memorable. I have quite a few piercings and tattoos this was by far the best!I also had the pleasure of meeting Flames wife and let’s just say she’s as beautiful inside as she is out with great energy!Two thumbs up and it looks like I will be making another trip to NOLA to get a tattoo.

Me and a few friends went here on our last night in new orleans. First off he tattooed over hair instead of shaving the spot. His line work was awful and inconsistent. The worst part of it all is that the ink he used is falling out of all of our skin,making it look like we drew in ourselves with a ball point pen. If you want a good tattoo go somewhere else.

Late one night, I stumbled into this shop completely lost with a dead cell phone (so no GPS or ability to call a taxi or anything) and the owner opened his doors up for me, let me charge my phone, and just hang out for a bit while I figured out a ride back to my hotel. While charging my phone and hanging out, he showed me a little portfolio of his work and he is most certainly talented. I actually dont have any ink, but I would recommend Orleans Ink to anyone who is interested in getting a tattoo. The owner is super nice and accommodating and will treat you right while giving you a nice new piece of art.

The shop and artist were cool, but I was not impressed by the outcome of the tattoos. My friend also got a tattoo right after me and within two days it was badly infected. If you are looking for professional quality, do not go to this shop.

I like the tattoo flame did for me, but the parlor was digusting. Saw roaches once he was already done, he stayed on facebook live the whole time and didnt pay attention to what he was doing. Multiple times he would touch his phone or his bluetooth ear piece and go right back to tattooing without changing gloves like it was completely normal. He is talented, but im hoping i dont get an infection. Completely unprofessional..

Worst experience ever!!! I pretty much got a wish version of the tattoo I wanted in memory of my friend who recently passed away. I gave him the opportunity to make it right before posting this review but of course there was no response. Its so ugly, my 3yr old couldve done a better job! Im so disappointed and disgusted.

They made my friend and I feel very welcomed and he was extremely good at tats! No heavy hands nice and smooth and the tat came out amazing just what I wanted and fair pricing!

My girlfriend wanted a tattoo with a New Orleans theme and so did I. We described what we wanted and he drew it up on the spot. The drawing was better than what we imagined. My girlfriend got lettering done along her hip in cursive with small detailed flor de lis symbols on both sides. He was very respectful, we felt at home in his shop. I got a 6 inch by 4 inch tattoo on my leg. I already had a large tattoo on my leg with coloring. He made sure to match the ink colors with the tattoo already on my leg. Im very happy with how my tattoo turned out. He was the best, Ive had tattoo me so far (Ive been inked by 4 different people). Hes an artist, not just someone that knows how to work a needle. I plan on having him do more work on my body. His prices are more than fair, after seeing how his work came out, I paid him more than what he charged me because he deserved it. 10/10

We made an appointment 3 weeks ago, confirmed a week ago, (got replies both times), and showed up today 10 minutes early - no one there. Waited an hour on the curb... it was hot. Texted 2 different numbers, called, nothing. This was all especially aggravating because we drove here from Austin, Texas. 2 thumbs down.

Called ahead to set an appointment and the worker who answered the phone was really rude and short. I got hung up on once and had to call again to get the appointment set. We walked all the way to the shop to find the doors locked and no one answering the door or the phone.
