Theyre awesome! I was recommended here from a few locals for a nose piercing.I got a symmetrical stud to my current one. They were very polite, professional, and clean. The staff member I had was confident and definitely experienced. He was sure to have me check beforehand that the placement looked correct.I have had several failed piercings, and this one was by far the easiest experience. They also made sure to take into consideration swelling while healing and fit a piercing that had room for skin expansion. Id definitely come again.

The shop boasts an exquisite selection of jewelry and a friendly team, making it a top recommendation for anyone in the French Quarter. The staff even went above and beyond, engaging in a pleasant conversation with my friend and me after the piercing process.

Started coming here back when it was in Houma, a Decade ago.Following them to Nola.They are great, and have amazing jewelry choices. I highly recommend it. Its clean, professional, and will work with any choices you may have.And will suggest the correct options best to your preferences and structure.Also price points.Definitely go ahead and book your appointment! Its definitely worth it.

What I liked about this place is that we didn’t have to take an appointment. We saw the place and spontaneously decided to get a conch and second stud piercing. The staff was nice, she helped us pick out our earring and gave us all the info we need. The whole experience was easy and pain free. The piercing costs about 30$ and the jewellery price starts from 40-45$ and goes up.

I had a very lovely piercing experience. The artist answered all my questions and I felt the space was clean and sterile. I would recommend.

Piercers are great, but DO NOT BUY JEWELRY FROM THEM. I got my rook switched out the other day and spent an amount Im embarrassed to say online for a new beautiful piece of jewelry that I was so excited about. Within a few days, it began falling out repeatedly and the chain on it broke. Within a week, the jewelry was gone because of how flimsy and horribly put in it was. I cannot go into words how disappointed I am– I can say confidently I will never be coming back here.

I had been considering getting my septum pierced for years. Not sure what made me do so during my recent trip to NOLA but am so glad I did. Kyler did my piecing and was amazing through the whole process. The entire staff was very professional, knowledgeable and most of all took cleanliness extremely serious. Went there a week ago for an Industrial. I was really nervous that I didnt have the right anatomy. The moment I walked in and said I wanted an Industrial Jered was up and checking my ear before deciding I could get the piercing. He measured the bar to my ear and the piercing took no more than 1 minute and wasnt painful. He was kind enough to entertain all my mothers questions and allowed her to take pictures. I was worried about the healing process as I have heard horror stories with Industrials, but the angle of the piercing is perfect, no pulling whatsoever, the bar is not touching any part of my ear that it shouldnt be. I was worried about the bar size, as this is a 1 1/4 inch and standard for new piercings is 1 1/2inch, but he assured me that it wouldnt be an issue and he wasnt wrong. Its healing perfectly so far, Ill update if anything changes but past this point Im sure any complications would fall on me and not the piercer. Photo taken 2 days after piercing.

Went to get an industrial bar piercing and had the most amazing time! Lex was the piecer and she was phenomenal! Talked me through the whole thing and kept me calm because I did NOT know how spicy the industrial bar was gonna be. 10/10 would do again

Impatient staff member. I was not going to review based on that as they may have been having a bad day.My chosen jewelry was taken from the display and sterilized the same day. In my experience with other shops, sterilized jewelry came in its own sterile packaging and proof of sterilization. I did not see this, and it may have been my fault for not asking for this. I also was not going to review based on that as I can see largely positive reviews from the crowd.But my ear cartilage piercing got terribly infected less than 1 week after and needed a coarse of antibiotics, so I decided to share my experience. Mind you, I have 9 other cartilage piercings from other shops and they have never been infected before. Ask for proof of sterilization before proceeding, I should have done that.

Great customer service. Very professional. Amazing location, beautiful place. Staff was very helpful. Spent 600 bucks and still had to pay full price on the shirts. Lol its fine though

SO clean!! They have a great jewelry selection, and are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I got my nose pierced by Jered, and honestly barely felt it. He just talked me through it and was super chill, making the entire experience super easy and enjoyable! If I could give 10 stars, I would!

I stumbled upon this place while visiting NO. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars because the service was amazing, they are very clean, jewelry selection was phenomenal BUT when I pierced my tragus last week the bar they pierced me with was way too small and it didn’t account for any space during swelling 😤 so now I have to go to visit a piercing studio that will swap this bar for a longer length bar during the healing process. I’m so annoyed by this. The piercer should have known better and they made a poor decision. Aside from that I am happy with my experience

Working with Kyler was a great experience and I can guarantee his new location in NOLA will keep up the same cleanliness standards, not to mention studio aesthetics. He knows what jewelry to keep in stock and how to properly preform procedures. Ive trusted him with a few of my own piercings and I will continue to refer clients to him. Keep it up dude!

The best piercing shop EVER!! They may have higher prices than others, but the customer service, attention to detail and precision, and the skills of all those who work there are worth the price. I got my first nose piercing here: although I was super nervous, I felt comfortable and safe through the process and LOVED the results... I can’t say the same about my second nose piercing, which was done at another shop with lower prices and lower quality. After that negative experience elsewhere, I’ve come back here for all my other piercings and will continue to return here!!

Ivy is so chill and knows how to do a piercing quickly with little pain! I love this shop and the vibe. I’ve gotten my nav and my nose done by ivy. The jewelry selection is really pretty but expensive due to the quality. I choose a small ruby stone for my nose and a matching one for my naval! Can’t wait to visit again soon for another ear piercing. ❤️

The most sanitary of ANY piercing place I’ve ever been into! I visited here while in New Orleans and I had my Tragus pierced. I WILL BE GOING BACK AGAIN VERY SOON! I heard about Purity through google and loved my experience! They were very easy to get in touch with and made the experience incredible. The entire shop was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. Ivy was very nice and made me very comfortable before the piercing and took her time picking the perfect placement!

One of the cleanest most professional studios I have ever gotten any body modification done. I was put into the amazing hands of Katherine and she was incredibly knowledgeable while being warm and personable.I cant say enough positive things about the people and the studio!I got two piercings at once and felt almost nothing. They healed beautifully.Will absolutely be going back when in New Orleans again. Ivy was so so amazing with my vertical eyebrow piercings. I have never had a bad experience here, and all the staff are great. The place is also pristine clean and beautiful!

One word: Amazing. This place was an amazing experience. The staff wears masks and it is VERY clean and sterilized to the highest degree. I got my septum and Medusa piercings from Jered. Very hospitable and very polite. He went into detail with the aftercare. They also give you a pamphlet for the aftercare as well. This place is very friendly. Remember, you are in a tourist area so some places are sketchy, but this place is the opposite. Don’t even think about it, GO NOW.

I would absolutely recommend Purity for piercing services. I traveled from the northshore for a nose piercing and thankful that I did. Jewelry quality and service was great. I had to wait a few days for an appointment with Monique, but it was worth the wait. She was knowledgeable, patient and friendly. I know everyone is different, however my healing process is progressing well. The site was sore for maybe an hour after piercing, but I have not had any negative reactions since my piercing 2 weeks ago - no swelling, no redness, no irritation, no bruising, no pain - nothing! I love my piercing and will be back in a few months to downsize my jewelry. The place was clean and organized.

I had stopped in to Purity while on vacation in NOLA a couple months back. I had always thought about wanting my nose pierced, so I decided to look around inside and ask some questions about it. The girl at the front desk was very helpful and showed me a lot of different studs that could be used. I decided to go ahead and get it done there before heading back home and I am glad I did. The piercer was patient, friendly and very thorough with cleaning instructions. My nose piercing is healing really well and I’ve had no problems. I will definitely go back the next time I’m in town!

My personal piercing experience was with Sabrina, and she performed a conch piercing and a helix piercing on my right ear. I have a tendency to get pretty nervous before I get piercing, but her bedside manner is phenomenal. She was extremely patient, and allowed me the time I needed to be in a calm state before performing them so that spoke volumes to me. I was not rushed in, I felt very in control during the procedure, and it was a relatively painless process.Purity is also a beautiful shop. The jewelry selection is stellar, and I felt like there was a little bit of everything to choose from which helped me stay inside of my budget. The cleanliness from the front door to the piercing room was top notch as well, and I felt very comfortable in the fact that I knew all of the conditions were sterile and that my health and safety were a priority. I would absolutely visit their shop again, and look forward to the next time I do. 10/10 would recommend them for your piercing and jewelry needs!!!

So we just showed up. Did what the sign told us and went back for our appointment. I recommend checking out the website and scheduling an appointment first these days. The reviews on Google was what had us choosing this place. Excellent reviews. Ivy was amazing. She was a professional with great skill. The selection of jewelry was phenomenal as well as unique. The studio was thoroughly clean. The paperwork was easy and organized. As a mother who was letting her teenager get a second set of ear piercings done I was very grateful for her professional guidance. Years ago Claire’s did her first set and they were a little crooked and not done well. I really wish I had known about places like this then. When Ivy pierced her ear I was able to watch and the needle just slid right in so smoothly. It didn’t hurt her at all. It made for another wonderful New Orleans memory with my teenager and a great piercing experience. Thank you Ivy.

I am currently on a business trip in New Orleans and decided to make some memories of the area in a different way than buying souvenirs. I Googled body piercing studios in the area, and Purity was the first to pop up. They had raving reviews on cleanliness and expertise, so I wanted to do the same and leave a review for someone else like me to read! Booking my appointment online was super easy, and I received text updates throughout the day. Just as the photos and reviews show, this shop and staff ensure health safety from the minute you walk through the door. My artist was Kyler, and he was so professional, courteous, and comforting throughout the process. Once the process was over, he answered any questions I had and ensured I was comfortable (despite the obvious pain from the piercing😂) before leaving the studio. If you’re spontaneously looking for a piercing studio, or you’ve been contemplating one for a while, Purity is the place to go!

I was on vacation in NOLA and saw this shop. I have wanted to repierce my second hole for a long time. I made an appointment online but decided to go early to look at earrings. They actually took me back right away because they were not busy.The man who I worked with said he thought they could stretch my existing hole (that I had not used in 20+ years) without having to use a needle. He said he would look at it and let me know. I felt him fiddling around with my ear then he said it was done. I was shocked. No pain at all and it only took a minute. He has a special tool that allows him to do this.I can only wear titanium earrings and as expected those were not cheap, I think $80 for a set. That’s about what I’ve paid at other tattoo shops.My friend, who has struggled with piercings, later went back to see if they could reuse her existing hole. The store was super busy but they were friendly and after a few minutes took her back. Sadly, she had too much scar to have the hole stretched but I appreciated them even looking.The store is very clean. They have a decent selection of colored studs in titanium, silver and gold. Highly recommend.

Monique pierced my nose and I’m in love!! I had a fantastic experience. The studio is super cool with a stellar selection of jewelry. It’s modern, funky, clean, and super comfortable. Monique is very professional and informative of the process. She obviously cares a lot about her profession and it showed during my time there which I appreciate a lot. Three reviews in one!I made an appointment in January 19 w| Monique to get my tragus pierced. When I arrived I was welcomed in. The customer service was great and the cleanliness of the shop was A1. I know I probably worked Moniques LAST nerve because I was so very scared and nervous, I thought it wouldhurt way too much. It end up not hurting at all, by the time she was done I honestly didnt notice. She did an amazing job at keeping me calm and walking through everything she was doing. My piercing totaled at about $213. The piercing itself cost $30, I purchased the aftercare piercing spray, and my Fleur De Lis white gold piece was a little over $100. I didnt mind paying the price because the jewelry is real and wont tarnish. Plus they are suuuuper sterile in the shop. I would recommend this shop to anyone, located right in the Quarter!Had to go back in October ‘19 to get my tragus pierced again because I mistakenly hit it and knocked it out. Sabrina pierced me this time and shes so bomb. I love her vibrant personality!! The piercing took maybe two minutes at most. She kept me calm even though I had gotten this done before- I really hate pain so any little pinch I dont want. But she definitely kept me calm and I handled it like a G. LOL. I was comfortable and she explained all the things she was doing. Afterwards she gave me clear instructions on how to help my piercing heal successfully. As Ive said before, I would certainly recommend Purity to anyone looking to get pierced in the New Orleans metro area!Went this morning 07 July ‘22 to get my baby girl ears pierced— she’s three months. My piercer was Jared. He was patient and calm w| her and the whole thing went by fast. The total was $290 which includes childrens piercing + jewelry. I am happy w| the results and will continue to recommend Purity Body Arts!

Long-time customer, first-time reviewer! I’ve been pierced at purity frequently over the years. Compared to most other studios in the city, theirs is certainly the most comfortable and the cleanest. The staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable in their craft. Monique is phenomenal! As long as I live in NOLA, I’ll keep getting pierced at Purity.

I got a single lip piercing by Jared, and my experience was great I was pleased. Then my piercing became embedded and I couldnt come in time before leaving town so I went somewhere else. They fixed it and told me the first place did everything wrong. My bar was too short, the back of my stud was apparently way too small for the first piece of jewelry which is why it embedded. They also pierced at an odd angle. Which, thinking back, they didnt even use forceps which youre supposed to do. Never going back, I dont recommend. Please dont waste your time and money, you might end up in a great deal of pain like me

I’m writing this review two months after getting my ear lobes and septum pierced and the healing process has been SO smooth. The staff was very professional and the jewelry is high quality (I got 14k gold rings). It was my first time ever getting piercings and they made the experience very positive.

I had a great experience here. The place is very clean and so cute inside. I came in for a belly button piercing and I literally booked an appointment that day i was getting it done on their website. It was super easy and a quick process. My piercer was Kyler and he was awesome!!! He’s very nice, funny, and just an easy person to talk to. I Would definitely recommend this place for piercings. also the jewelries are very cute!

Sabrina was amazing!!! She pierced my conch and my boyfriend’s earlobe. She had plenty of knowledge about healing/stretching our specific piercings (my bf and I had A Lot of questions) and was incredibly pleasant & informative.The entire staff was very professional, and the shop was both clean and beautiful. Purity seems truly sensitive to the needs of their clients, making the experience quite comfortable. The jewelry is no more expensive than other high-quality piercing places, and their selection is better than the shop I go to at home (which is often heralded for its jewelry selection)I’d recommend getting pierced here, and would absolutely recommend getting pierced by Sabrina. I had a great experience getting my second hole pierced here. Sabrina was extremely professional and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. She thoroughly explained how to clean it and when I could change out the earrings.I had an issue a few weeks later with my earring and Sabrina personally reached out to quickly rectify the situation. I looked up where I could get a nose piercing in NOLA, and Purity Body Arts came up! The reviews on Google were awesome and the shop had top ratings, so I decided this is where I wanted to go. I called in before hand to see how much getting my nose pierced was, and the lady on the phone was so sweet. When I went in I met Molly (who also did my piercing) and she was absolutely amazing! She made me feel super comfortable, gave me all the information for pricing for jewelry/piercing beforehand, and explained the whole piercing process as she went along. They also want their customers to come in after a couple weeks to check and make sure their piercing is healing correctly. I am so glad I chose Purity Body Arts! Anyone who decides to go wont regret it:)

I got my daith pierced for my 17th birthday and all of my expectations were exceeded!!!! I was able to get an appointment same day which was awesome. When I got there, Jered immediately greeted me and helped me pick out the perfect jewelry for the piercing. He was extremely thorough with the information he was giving us about the piercing process and aftercare, and answered any questions both me and my mom had. I was also walked through the steps while getting the piercing which was super awesome. Not only that, but the entire place was clean and extremely sanitary which I appreciated a lot. My results are amazing and I couldnt have had a better experience. That being said, I will be coming back to this shop to get my next piercing. Thank you for an awesome experience!!!!!

Id give more than 5 stars if I could. I have quite a few piercings, and this shop (and overall experience) was top notch. Sabrina showed me all my jewelry options & was very clear about pricing. Kyler did the piercing, placed it perfectly, and was super patient & kind through the whole process. Purity is worth every penny (and despite other comments that say its pricey... I felt it was realistically priced for a safe, quality shop and that everyone behind the counter was honest & up-front about costs before I committed to anything). Would definitely recommend to a friend!

I came in to get my septum pierced at the NOLA location, just a day into them re-opening amidst COVID-19. They were extremely cautious with the amount of people in the shop at once, and very clean.As for the piercing experience, Sabrina did an amazing job and it was virtually painless! I am in love with my septum ring, and will definitely be back again. She explained the entire process to me thoroughly and made sure I knew exactly what was going on.Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! 100% worth the road trip to NOLA— will definitely be back for my next piercing!

I am so beyond impressed with Purity Body Arts. I went in after walking past for days on my way to and from work and I cant wait to go back and bring my friends here. I had such a great experience! Everything is clean, done completely professional and the experience was totally comfortable. I am so excited and happy to have had my first facial piercing here (left upper lip/Monroe piercing) done by Kyler. He, his staff and this shop are the best out there.

Went in to get my helix pierced and had a great experience. Everything was clean and i didn’t have to wait even though I arrived about 15 minutes early for my appointment. The staff was professional, personable, and very knowledgeable . Maggie did my piercing and did a wonderful job of explaining the entire process as well as answering all of my questions! Will come back if I’m ever wanting another piercing next time I am in the area.

I got a daith piercing and got my nose ring changed. I work in a hospital, and this place is just as clean if not cleaner than any other hospital Ive worked at. My piercer, Lars was so professional, knowledgeable, and thorough I cant say enough. Monique did a great job mentoring him! The jewelry was fantastic as well. I will definitely be back!

My sister and I wanted piercings and after checking the reviews, it seemed Purity Body Arts was the perfect spot to go. Sabrina walked us each through the jewelry available for our respective pierce types, and answered all of our questions about the process. The shop is very clean and I felt secure that the piercing would be done professionally, quickly and as painlessly as possible in the very clean, sterile environment of the piercing room. Sabrina also had a lovely personality and made us both feel comfortable and welcome. My nose pierce did hurt a tiny bit, but I am thrilled with it, how it was performed, and with the beautiful jewelry that I was able to choose. My sister chose a beautiful hoop with diamonds for her helix pierce on her ear. Again Sabrina was awesome, fast, and also took into consideration my sisters hearing aid so as to ensure the best placement of the hoop to show it off and enjoy it without interfering with the placement of the hearing aid. A+ experience. We dont live in NOLA, but if we did, we would certainly return to Purity Body Arts and request Sabrina for any other piercings we wanted to have done. The jewelry they have is also made on site and so its not the same things you might see in a store that orders out. I love that I have a beautiful piece of unique quality jewelry and the piercing to remember my visit to New Orleans Thank you!!

This place was very clean and had a comfortable atmosphere. I got my vertical labret done and was very happy with it and the jewelry. The piercer advised me the post in my philtrum was still long even though I’ve had it sized down after it healed. I got my philtrum switched out with a shorter post like he advised. The next day, my healed lip piercing was more painful than my fresh one. I immediately booked an appointment with my regular piercer, whom I trust very much, to get this looked at. He said the post was way too short for me, you couldn’t even see the back of it inside my lip. If I had waited any longer, my lip would have healed over the back of the post and it would have had to have been cut out. Do your research before going to some random place when on vacation.

I will not go anywhere else. They are extremely thorough and knowledgeable. Monique has done all my piercings but I have brought friends and family members who have been pierced by other staff members and the expertise is high across the board. It’s clean, fairly priced, and they are patient and answer all questions honestly and completely. I’m totally hooked and wish they had a referral program!

Sad to write this review. I’ve had mostly good experiences but the last one put a sour taste in my mouth. I’ve bought 5 pairs of plug here over the last 2 years. This time I wanted some flairs so I asked the person to help me pick out 4 gauge, which can be measured on one of two places (the flair or the small middle part). I picked some out and then rung them up, and when I grabbed them and felt them for the first time I said “oh I’m worried these are too small, I’d like to grab the next size up instead”.She said “sorry we don’t do exchanges”. I said something to the effect of: “I’m literally still at the counter, (I didn’t even pick up my receipt yet) it’s not really an exchange if you haven’t left the store” and she said “it’s already purchased and it’s the size you asked for so the best I can do is 50% off the second pair because it’s buy one get one 50% off”. So I can’t get a different size because “no exchanges” I was there for a wedding and in a good mood so even though I didn’t agree I just said thank you and left and sadly won’t be back again because the policy feels like the opposite of customer service. One of them fell out of my ear the later the same day. Please don’t create policies that get in the way of common sense customer service. The item had not left the store, had not been used, and should have been exchanged.

Was in town and decided to stop in and get my philtrum pierced. It was super easy to book an appointment online, the shop was very clean and well maintained. The staff was helpful, knowledgeable, and helped me feel at ease! Dylan did my piercing and walked me through every step of the process. The piercing looks great, is healing well and Im very happy with it! Would definitely recommend!

Purity is the most welcoming and professional piercing salon Ive ever encountered. The people who work here are friendly and helpful, the selection of products is beautiful and high-quality. This place is spotless, and the piercing artists are excellent at informing clients of whats going on at every step. Ive gotten pierced here multiple times, and wouldnt go anywhere else.

I have been pierced by Sabrina and I can say it was executed perfectly, she is amazingly clean and professional! The studio is beautiful and they have a gorgeous selection of jewelry to choose from. Some others have complained about the pricing in their reviews, and I gotta say...quality isnt cheap. If you are looking for cheap, this isnt your place because there is nothing cheap about any part of it; the service, the years of experience the piercers have, the jewelry and the shop as a whole. You cant get that just anywhere.

Would not get pierced by any one else! The cleanliness and professionalism goes above and beyond most places. I highly recommend Purity Body Arts. The quality of the jewelry far exceeds other piercing shops. My husband and I could not have asked for experiences with all of our piercings. Super awesome place! You will not be disappointed! Walked in on Easter Sunday and was seen by Jered. Got my first piercing done (Septum). He was patient, knowledgeable and answered all my questions and concerns. The piercing itself was smooth and uneventful. Jered took the time to explain the landmarks he was looking for and how they relate to the piercing. Most importantly, Jered made sure that I understood the aftercare process before I left the shop. A month later and I have had no issues.The location is clean and you can tell they take pride in their look and sanitization of the tools and rooms.

My wife and I received nose piercings here a few days ago and we are OBSESSED! Kyler was AMAZING! Super nice and hilarious. He made us laugh the whole time. I loved their sanitation and sterilization methods and appreciate how patient they were with us. Excellent experience. The piercers are extremely knowledgeable and professional and friendly, they even looked at my recent piercings I had gotten from a different shop and detected improper placement and jewelry size, and they advised me on what to do to improve that free of charge. They are extremely precise and I trust them 1000 times over my previous piercer and over almost any other shop I have looked up around NOLA. Come here and you not be let down. I do feel maybe the jewelry is a little overpriced but with the shop being in the French quarter its to be expected. Otherwise I have nothing negative to say about this place. Thank you Purity!

I took my 9 year old daughter to Purity to get her ears pierced, and I ended up getting a conch piercing. Monique pierced me, and Sabrina pierced my daughter. They both were knowledgeable and helpful with every step of the piercing process. Also, the jewelry selection there is amazing - such beautiful jewels. Purity has a spa-like, zen feel. The store and piercing room / tools / staff were very hygienic. Both my daughter and I will be returning here for future piercings. I highly recommend Purity.

I was pierced by Sabrina and she did a perfect job!! She let me hold the earrings I liked up to my ear a million times before making a decision and explained the process thoroughly as we went along. She also was very sterile , which I appreciate so much! I would definitely recommend them anytime.

This place is awesome! I live in Lafayette and drive all the way to Morgan City anytime I need any piercings or tattoos done. Dylan is my GO TO! He’s super talented, very educated on what he’s doing and oh my gosh is he clean! The cleanliness of this store is amazing! I’ve gotten all 13 of my piercings and both my tattoos done here with Dylan and I have yet to have anything not heal properly. My wife had two additional piercings added to her left ear. Kyler was the ultimate professional. His hygiene standards were beyond what I expected. He used new piercing hardware, sterilized in an autoclave, and recommended some hardware for her ear. He took the time to explain everything and recommended the correct sizing for her ear. We are from out of town and he recommended a shop near our home in the event we want additional hardware, jewelry, or have any issues. He even gave us his personal number and told us to call him anytime should we need anything or need his services. I highly recommend his services.

I came in after attempting to change out my own room piercing at home with no success. I had been wanting new jewelry as well. The shop was clean and friendly. The lovely lady at the front desk was patient and helped me assemble and anodize my new jewelry to my liking. I did a walk in with Monique on monday evening, i wanted to start my Jacobs ladder piercings and we decided to go ahead and get 2 at a time. Monique was very professional, the shop was clean and comfortable and my friends were allowed to come back while I had them done (one of my friends was also interested in the same piercings so he wanted to see how the experience went). Both piercings were as painless as they can be and the placements were very well done. I will definitely drive the 3 hours back when i get the rest of them done and would recommend Monique to others.

From beginning to end, the experience that Purity gives you is an incredible one. I have been a body modification enthusiast for awhile and with that travel to different APP shops to collect from different studios and piercers. Purity, from the moment you walk in is stunning in comparison to some other shops Ive been to. I was greeted by Sabrina , who would be my piercer for the day. I was interested in getting my septum pierced and Sabrina was incredibly professional in all aspects from knowledge of jewelry to selections that would go best with my current set up. Most of the gold jewelry there is made in-house which makes Purity an even greater destination to visit to get unique pieces. Once we finished choosing jewelry and paperwork was done, I was taken back to the incredibly spacious and comfortable piercing room, where Sabrina ran my jewelry through the statim to sterilize in front of me, which is another added plus, giving me even more reassurance to the practices. While sterilizing, the room was prepped and Sabrina went over aftercare with me, further impressing me with her knowledge, then once ready she performed the piercing. I felt slightly dizzy after, so Sabrina got me some juice to feel a little better. She then took pictures allowing me to be a model for a minute and walked me out to pay. This had been one of my favorite experiences inside a studio to date.

Hands down best piercing studio Ive ever been to. Immaculately clean, brightly lit, with a quiet and calm atmosphere, which lends to an exceptional experience. I came in with my partner to get my navel pierced. Brooklen helped me pick the jewelry and was very knowledgeable about their products. Monique performed the piercing, and talked us through the entire process in detail, from anatomy check, to sterilization, to aftercare. Between the atmosphere and the staff, my partner, who previously was rather squeamish about piercings, is now comfortable with them, and unexpectedly likes my newest bit of jewelry! We are from DFW, TX, and would gladly make the 8+ hour drive to be pierced here again.

Maggie was absolutely AMAZING!! She did right what a previous shop got horribly wrong!! I went to her for a piercing that I had a long time ago and I told her my concerns. She explained to me what the previous piercer did wrong (pierced too deep so it never healed right) She did a brand new piercing for me and I noticed the difference IMMEDIATELY!! No pain and it feels almost healed and its only been 2 days. Again she is AWESOME at what she does and I recommend her to anyone looking to get pierced!! Thanks Hun!!😘

Excellent experience! Very professional and sterile; they take their business and quality seriously. I was very impressed with the way Kyler walked me though the piercing and listened to what I wanted, making tiny changes to make sure it was perfect. I didnt feel rushed or guilty for asking so many questions. In addition to the quality work, the people are genuine. Kyler had us at ease, making us laugh and enjoy the whole experience. Lars gave me an upper helix piercing and was so sweet and fun! I felt super comfortable with them, and they were very careful to make sure that I always knew what was going to happen and that I was happy with my piercing. They also helped me pick out a pretty piece of jewelry! I would definitely go back to Purity for more piercings.

My experience here was the greatest. I came in to get a vertical tragus piercing after two failed previous tries. The staff that helped me was very kind, knowledgeable and patient. Klyer was my piercer and took extra time to answer any and all of my questions. The process was unlike any other piercing Ive had in the past. Sterilization done here is similar to that done in a medical setting, which made me feel at ease due to past experiences. My experience here was so great my friend went back the next day to get a piercing done! Absolutely recommend this place if your looking for quality jewelry and service.

First time getting any facial piercings and I am SO glad I found this place! I got angel bites done and Kyler did numerous different measurements and marks to make sure both sides were straight, even and perfect. Cleanliness is clearly a top priority to Kyler and his team and I was very impressed at the measures taken to be sure that everything remained sterile. The whole process was quick and more painless than I expected, and I cant wait to go back in a few weeks to change into a smaller set of piercings when Ive healed enough.

I heard great things about this studio and they did not dissapoint. First off, i called to get some basic info and pricing and the associate was incredibly helpful and patient. Once i arrived i was greated with a warm and helpful employee and i ended up purchasing 2 pieces. The prices are on par with high quality body jewelry and the selection was nice. I intended on getting one piece but there were so many beautiful options and the associate was so helpful and attentive that i simply wanted to support this studio and of course have more shiny beautiful things. I loved the service, polite and courteous, I was given intructions of how to take care of piercings. However when asked about prices for the jewerly, I was only given the option for $120 and Up, I asked if there were any more jewerly at a lower price and then A binder full of other options was given to me.I totally understand this is a business, however, I believe all options should be presented to customers not just the most expensive ones.I know the protocols must be followed, but some of us are going for the piercing, not to shop for jewerly.Overall, It was a good experience, so far.

This was the worst experience I could have had getting a piercing. I had Monique pierce my cartilage and she was so rude and very mean to me. When I asked a simple question about the piercing technique she was extremely sassy and made belittling and snarky comments throughout the entire process. She made me feel very uncomfortable, and was rushed me when picking out the earring I wanted to be pierced with. After the piercing she gave me no tips on how to care for the piercing. DO NOT GO HERE! Not worth the excessive amount of money. Very terrible customer service.

I had a very bad piercing and costumer care experience at another place and had to take my piercing out. So I went somewhere that had APP piercers and stellar reviews. It is a little pricey, but the quality of the jewelry is worth it. I was also worried about my piercing migrating, I live far away so I emailed some pictures and they were so prompt to respond with their informed response. I will never go anywhere else besides purity. Super professional, super caring. I couldn’t ask for anything more.

Kyler and his staff are awesome. My dilemma started with an email to the establishment when I found them on google. I had an immediate need to remove my nose ring that was stuck in my nose. Kyler was very quick to respond to my email, quoted me a price and welcomed me to walk in at any time during that day. Upon arrival it was discovered that my nose ring couldnt be simply removed. The staff called Kyler who was not in the shop at the time. They offered me and my 8 year old daughter juice while we waited. Kyler arrived within 5 minutes of being called and after coaching and explaining to me what it will take to get my nose ring out, he magically removed it with little pain on my end. I feel bad he hurt his hand though but he was so great and hospitable. He offered me gauze to take on my journey home and invited me back to get additional piercings in the future. I love the interactivity of the website and the ability to book appointments online. They are also very transparent with their pricing so youd know exactly what youre paying for. I love how clean and minimalist yet edgy the shop is and the friendly staff. I will be back and will recommend others to come.

I had my navel and industrial pierced here. One in 2016 and the other in 2019. I LOVE this place. I will not go anywhere else for my piercing or jewelry needs. The entire place is very clean and each piercer explains the process thoroughly. I always point people to Purity Body Arts when they are looking to get a new piercing.

I got my tragus done and the staff is so nice and very professional. Even having piercing and tattoos I still get nervous with needles, they made me feel so comfortable! Monique was my artist. I’m sure the other piecers are nice as well, but I would highly recommend going to her if you can!

I got my nose pierced by Kyler on Thursday and he did a great job at making me feel more comfortable because I was extremely nervous. He talked to me to help me in calming down. He was diligent in sterilizing everything. He also made sure I was ok after the piercing. I ended up having to go back the next day due to the way my nose responded to the piercing (my body is very sensitive) and I texted him and let him know what I was experiencing and he told me to stop by and he fixed the issue with no problem. I highly recommend.

I walked in off the street needing a new septum ring. Kyler was awesome! He quickly found my ideal replacement (captive ring w/ crystal gem ball) and put it in for me! They change the jewelry for you for free! Unless they have to use a tool to take it out, then they charge you $10 and you get to keep the tool. It was quick painless, and SO clean!! Needless to say with 15 piercings from several other artists I wish I had them all done at purity, I will definitely be getting work from Kyler on my next trip to New Orleans.

I could not have asked for a better experience for my first facial piercing! Scheduled two dermal piercing removals with Jered. Had gotten poorly placed jewelry at a convention and needed to get them out. Jered was super knowledgeable and made me full comfortable throughout the whole process.

I took my child, 13, to get her helix (upper ear) pierced. We are from out of town and set up an appt. via the website, which was intuitive and quick. I received both an email and text confirmation almost immediately upon completing the online form for the appt. The confirmation is great, b/c you don’t feel like everything went out unacknowledged. About an hr. before the appt. we had set up online, I received an automated reminder of the time, which was a nice feature.When we arrived, everything went as I would have hoped. Someone (thanks Brooklyn!) greeted us immediately. After we picked out jewelry, showed appropriate documentation (expect to bring it for your minor; these are professionals), and signed the paperwork, Sabrina took over and took great care of my daughter.Sabrina made my 13 year old daughter feel very comfortable. The verbal walk-thru she gave was clear and concise. She marked a few spots on her ear for potential jewelry placement, but let her know if she didn’t like any of the locations, they could be easily changed until my daughter found the exact spot she wanted. The point is it was a very low pressure atmosphere. The kind where you feel like a customer, as you should. My daughter also knew exactly when the piercing was going to take place. There were no uncomfortable moments of unknown - great for all, but especially for youngsters. Cleanliness was spot-on. E.g., Sabrina changed gloves every time she touched something unsanitary, like the hand mirror she gave my daughter to check the placement marks.To sum it up, this is a fine example of the kind of place you want to go to get things done right and be seen by the kind of people that make you feel comfortable and safe.I have a feeling we’ll be back.

Highly recommend, will definitely be back. I called beforehand to make sure they were open and available since the APP convention is going on. Maggie answered the phone, confirmed availability, and advised on parking because parking is horrible. I ended up valet parking at a hotel and walking two blocks. Good call.The place is clean, everyone who was there is very knowledgeable. All of my questions were answered, in detail, and follow-up questions were not only answered but encouraged. I never once felt rushed or forced or uncomfortable. The staff was all personable and seemed to be interested in making the entire experience a good one. They were answering others questions like they were mine, so I know it wasnt just me. One lady was gently advised against getting what she came in for because after talking with her, the staff felt it was unsuitable.I asked about several piercings, and was told that one of the people who was out would be the best person to consult with, rather than Maggie attempting something she wasnt 100% knowledgeable about. Given that were talking about something pretty permanent and potentially life changing or damaging, that was more than appreciated.The piercing itself, beginning to end, was great. Time was taken to measure for proper placement, I got to see where it would be, I was shown the safe strip showing the autoclave properly cleaned the equipment, gloves, fresh everything, wipedown, the works, along with friendly chatter and a comforting attitude.100% would recommend.Get a great piercer who makes a great experience and youll understand the obsession. Maggie, youre a doll.

I had an awesome experience. I was so nervous but Kyler has such a calm and friendly approach it really helped calm me. He did a great job of explaining as he went along. He was also accommodating with speaking clearly and slowly because I have a hearing problem. As far as cleanliness, everything was spot on. What I didn’t tell Kyler is that I’m an infection control nurse and his technique and approach to infection control was better than a lot of nurses that I have observed. My suggestion to anyone considering a piercing, go see Kyler.

I walked in off the street to get my tragus jewelry changed. I was drawn in by the beautiful lighting and calm atmosphere. There were two women behind the counter; the one who I spoke to first (I didnt get her name) was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, helped me choose a new piece of jewelry and was very patient with my indecision in choosing a piece. I purchased an adorable stud; I had looked in another shop during my visit to New Orleans and Purity definitely had a better selection of jewlery. Molly changed it for me and she was fast, professional, and friendly. I would definitely come back here for a piercing if Im ever in NOLA again!

I paid $110 for a industrial piercing including the jewelry. The bar that was inserted bent my ear to the point the balls on the bar where going into my ear causing severe pain. I ended up having to pay more money to another shop for a longer bar so that my ear could properly heal.

Ivy was awesome! I was super nervous getting my eyebrow pierced, but Ivy made it comfortable and painless! And its healing beautifully! Definitely will be going here for all my future piercings!

Best, most professional, highest quality piercing place in the city!!UPDATE! May 2022...a few years later and I just went back for my other daith. They had a beautiful selection of high end jewelry and I found one that matches almost perfect my other daith. The first daith piercing I had they said my daith was different (lol) so I had a curved barbell for 6 months before changing out to the ring with filigree I have now. But yesterday when I went they were able to pierce me with jewelry that looked just like what I already have. So I wont have to wait 6 months with two different looking piercings in my ears. Again, so clean, like a doctors office and a jewelry store had a baby 😆. I paid a good chunk, but you pay for what you get, you pay for quality. Why would I want the cheapest option just to save a few bucks when I could have the BEST option and pay what its worth. I want to pay professionals for their specialty and time for good results and thats exactly what I said! Couldnt be happier. Again!!!

Esthetically the place is beautiful, however for a place that specializes in piercing jewelry they did not have a lot of inventory. The had no 16g piercing , I drove 25 minutes for nothing. If you need jewelry go elsewhere or shop at the risk of being disappointed and wasting time.

Jered did a great job! The shop was busy but he still took his time to help position my piercings where I wanted them. For reference I had my helix and flat done.

DO NOT BOOK ONLINE. They will charge you $75 if you don’t show up, even tho they never say online that they don’t use outside jewelry, and their jewelry is super overpriced. They pierced my girlfriends nose during Covid. Saw another piercer and was told the guy put the piercing in the wrong place. Literally pierced her through her nostril area instead of above it so now that it’s mostly healed and she has a hoop, it looks stupid. Horrible all around

I’ve been to Purity Body Arts a few times now and their customer service always exceeds my expectations. I’ve personally gotten a forward facing helix piercing from them that I love, I’ve had them change out my navel piercing jewelry, and most recently I brought in my teenage daughter to get her ears double pierced. They always show you the indicator strip in the packaging of the piercing material to show it has been properly autoclaved. As a healthcare provider this is something of great importance to me. Very friendly, and customer service orientated. Maggie really listened to me through my rushed time there and got me a nose ring that fits my needs. After losing a nose ring you have had for 22 years and only finding floppy replacements, I am glad I came here. This place presents a world of options, professional care, and in a world where customer service isnt so great, Maggie was there to provide service beyond my expectations. Thanks!

The staffs here are so helpful and kind! Pieces they sell are all titanium posted so they are genuinely hypoallergenic and Ive been wearing the ones I bought all the time. I love how their posts are short and ends are flat head, bedding and clothes never got caught on these!! I really really hope they open up their online shop!!!

Super cute shop full of extremely helpful people - Monique is especially knowledgeable and can easily communicate what shes doing in ways that people who arent in the industry can understand. Shes done my nipples, one of my septums, a bridge (that work didnt like... boo) and my conches and will do more in the future! 10/10 hit her up!!!!

Ive had the pleasure of not only knowing Kyler for 8+ years but also spent some time working as his apprentice. And for as long as Ive known him he has always strived to be a superior piercer. His level of commitment to cleanliness and quality is well beyond what is expected. His jewelry is nothing but the highest quality and his sterilization process is top notch. If you are thinking about getting a piercing and are in the area (hell even if you arent in the area) you need to go to purity. Top notch piercer and an all around great person. Ive had so many piercings done by him but currently still wearing philtrum and flat punch (cartilage.)

Jewlery and store were both beautiful. My 1 star is due to customer service only. Upon losing my nose ring on my trip to NOLA, 2 shops sent me to this store. After walking several miles out of our way in the rain, I felt very uncomfortable as soon as we walked in. Employees talking amongst themselves like we werent there, had to approach them to get any service. I asked for a price on a nose ring which employee replied that they had to check. After 5 minutes of conversing with other employee, woman came back and informed me the piece was $70. As it was out of my price range, I asked if there were any nose rings that were cheaper. She replied we dont have cheap jewlery here. I understood she might have taken offense assuming I insulted the quality of the jewlery but this wasnt the case. I then asked if she knew of any stores around that carried nose rings cheaper in price to which she replied not that I recommend.... We left without a goodbye, feeling upset and very defeated. Hope this was just a bad day on her behalf and not her constant service.

After having a horrible experience with a Tragus piercing from some place else and having to take it out I came here to have the other side done and they were amazing, Explained how to take care of it and what to expect. The studio was very clean. If I can think of another piercing I want would definitely go back to them.

Kyler @ purity body arts is awesome! He is so thorough; you would think youre in a doctors office. He puts you at ease and explains everything thats about to happen. I did my research before getting my daith piercing and drove all the way to Houma to get Kyler to do it. He did such a great job, as expected, that I went back for my other ear when he moved closer to his new NOLA location. If youre looking to get a piercing, Purity Body Arts is the place to go and Kyler is the man to see.

I had gotten my septum pierced by Jered. He pierced it crookedly and pierced through the cartilage. I had another piercer take it out. I have to wait for 2 weeks for my nose to heal properly.

Ive wanted my nose pierced for quite some time, and for some odd reason, I was terrified - like literally dreading the thought of a needle going through my nose. I have many...many large tattoos, but its something about a needle that makes me cringe.I did a lot of research on the internet to learn more about the process from piercing to healing. I even talked with friends and family that have piercings. But, unfortunately, all that did was make my anxiety much worse, and the experience varied from person to person - and from article to article.This past Sunday, I got my courage and decided on Purity Body Arts after reviewing their reviews and speaking with my sister, who recently got her ears pierced by Jered.So I sat my appointment with Jered and went on in.What I immediately noticed is Purity lives up to its name. Its clean, open, very nice, and they have a jewelry case as Ive never seen before in a piercing studio. Their jewelry is exquisite and unique. I saw a couple of reviews here mentioning the price. In my opinion, there is something for all budgets, but if the price is a significant factor for you, then this probably isnt the place.....and thats OK. My total cost $236 and included the piercing, beautiful nose ring, and the tip; reasonably priced for the great experience and jewelry I wanted.Upon arrival I walked up to the counter and introduced myself, and was greeted by Jered. This guy is so amiable. I told him I was nervous, and he put me at ease. I also told him that I did not want to watch him set up due to my anxiety. I wanted to get my nose pierced (with my eyes closed), and thats it. He obliged.When I walked into the room, I sat back in a chair, and he pierced my nose. It took less than a minute!!!Heres the cherry on top - NO PAIN! Literally, I felt a lot of pressure but no pain.My eye watered a bit, and guess what....Jered wiped my tears & cleaned up my smudged eyeliner/mascara! This guy is incredibly kind and patient - just what I needed in a piercer.If I could give Purity more stars I totally would. But, given Im already going back in August for another piercing....I think thats enough for you to know that this is the place for you if youre considering any type of piercing.

After hearing MULTIPLE accounts of the abusive and appalling behavior of the owner, Kyler Lee, I will not recommend this shop. I regret spending money here and directing my friends to this shop in the past. I believe survivors. I strongly recommend anyone considering this shop take their business elsewhere!

I have texted and emailed multiple times for the past week now and i have not gotten any response to place an order they said they would email. On there website it says not available but they texted back the first day saying they have it in stock and that they normally do said they would email me to place the order haven’t gotten that yet all I want is waste my money at their establishment but they evidently don’t care about customer service. I live in a whole different state so it’s not like I can just go to there store to purchase this. I’m very disappointed cause I’ve never had a bad experience with them until now.
