I Love You Tattoo

Definitely one of my favorite shops! I’ve lived in the area for a little while and my fiancé and I randomly stopped in on Halloween and both of us got tattooed by Clayton and since then we’ve gotten about four more tattoos there. Grass and Clayton both have done amazing work and we plan on continuing to go to them for future work. Highly recommend as it’s such a chill and fun environment!

I’ve been tattooed here four times now by Todd Stimpson and Clayton (closedhands on Instagram) and have been so happy with the pieces I left with! Great crew who are welcoming and creatively talented!! Can’t wait to go get a new piece!

I love I Love You Tattoo! Brad did my AC/DC tattoo, he was ultra professional and friendly and the entire process was quick, comfortable, and clean! Olivia made my appointment and was awesome! She was so nice, organized, and helpful. Best tattoos in Oakland! 🤍

I had a great experience with Brad. Not sure what’s up with the random fake reviews 5 months ago but I’d recommend you ignore them. The shop is clean, well run, friendly, queer inclusive, and has a great and enthusiastic customer base. Being a shop on a street with high foot traffic is really hard and to make sure you’re keeping up with the community while weeding out people who don’t care about the art of tattooing. Anyone who goes to this shop looking for quality work will get quality work. Thanks again

Great staff, nice location, tucked away in a cute shop reminded me of stores in Hawaii. They were friendly on the phone, friendlier in person and saw me immediately as a walk in. Very competitive pricing and great job. Clayton was the artist, the woman at the front desk was very helpful and friendly too. The vibe and conversations throughout the store made it feel like they all got along and work well together. Definitely recommend them

I absolutely LOVE this place!! Amazing artists, exceptionally clean space, and overall chill, friendly vibe. I’ve gotten 2 tattoos from Brad so far and I’m super happy with them. He did exactly what I asked for and was super professional. Already planning on going back soon. Shout out to the manager Olivia for being super friendly and awesome!

I’ve had 4 tattoos done here with Kat, and each time has been an amazing experience. Kat is very professional and caring when she is tattooing, and her work literally speaks for itself!! Olivia who runs the front desk is always so sweet and welcoming and it makes the environment a great one to be in. I see myself continuing to come here for all my tattoos! 10/10 recommend :)

This shop is awesome! It feels like you’re in a treehouse and has a rad vibe! Everyone at the shop was super friendly and the artists are dialed. Im super stoked with my experience! Mile Hudgins did a rose on my arm and it looks sick.FYI.. The negative reviews on google are not legitimate.

Clayton was incredibly rude to me during the design process. he had to have a few cigarettes before he decided to treat me kindly. tattoo looks fine.

Clean and friendly shop in a beautiful location. I’ve been tattooed by almost every artist and they’re all super kind and talented. It’s hard to consider going to another shop after coming here and having great experiences every single time.

Immaculate vibes! I did a walk in tattoo with Clayton and they were so welcoming and made the experience enjoyable. Super professional, super friendly! I absolutely love the work they did.

Just a real strong Ed Hardy vibe all around. Great staff that was super helpful and friendly. Open to any questions and honest with their answers and fantastic artwork on every wall of the shop. Highly recommended!

The quality of work the tattoo artists give here is staggering low.Not showing off but I can draw 100x times better than this and not earning a cent from it. Definitely a “ my kid drew this, can you put this on my arm type shop.

I highly recommend you find another location. The visit was miserable. Brad Heusden’s extremely rude and disrespectful. He made rude comments about the work we wanted asking why we wanted the work we wanted and then criticizing our reasons for wanting them.Purveyors of trailer trash motifs and imagery coincidently done by railer trash This being Piedmont, expect arrogance, delusions of grandeur, gassing up the mundane, all led by the queen of cappers herself: Olivia

Love this shop! They were able to take my friend and I as walk-ins. Very welcoming artists and Olivia is the sweetest! Definitely recommend this shop to everyone!

I walked into this shop today thinking I would get a tattoo since I was in the area, I walked in and someone in front of me was asking a guy about getting her hand tattooed, He responded with it would look weird without your arms being fully tattooed. In all honesty that is one of the most naive and stupidest excuses I have heard. Not only was he extremely rude about it, seemed like he just didnt want to do it in general. I walked out and wont be coming here EVER to get tattooed. Take your money elsewhere and find another tattoo shop. Pretty dissapointing

I have been a friend of this tattoo shop for a few years now, and although my former artist Brad is no longer there, Jose did not disappoint me today when I walked in with an idea and walked out with a badass tattoo at a reasonable price.

Warm environment and knowledgeable staff that do quality work. Ive been tattood by Grass, Clayton, and Kat. Their tattoos were well executed and healed great.

One of the kindest, most loving shops in the area! Everyone so sweet and you can tell they truly enjoy their job. I havent gone to any other shops since Ive started going here!

This shop is not gender neutral. Me and my friend were greeted with the term “guys” by “Olivia” and another worker. I was livid. My pronoun is Bug. I identify as a bug. Don’t just assume!!!

Expected a better experience with all the talk about how good this place is. Was in the shop dealt with Olivia very horrible experience. she was very rude and arrogant if I could I would give negative stars.

I read the positive reviews & thought that this would be a good experience, but I was so wrong :( they were incredibly unprofessional and I was unhappy with the job they did. Id recommend looking elsewhere. The negative reviews are right, I guess you have to be their friends or family to get a good experience.

I should have paid more attention to the reviews about the horrible customer service and being overpriced. Hindsight is 20/20. Dont pay attention to the friends they get to write reviews. Pay attention to actual customers. There is a reason why the shop was empty every single time I went. You have been warned.

Overcharge heavily for work that is not of good quality plus All the positive reviews here are from the staffs families and close friends. All biased and very misleading.
