Absolutely wonderful experience. Walked in with a design, and the artist absolutely killed it! Went above and beyond to make the tattoo even better then the original picture. Everybody was nice and the vibes were terrific. Everybody was chill and was having a good time! The artist even went to the lengths of explaining the best healing process for my busy schedule. This is my second time at Sailors Grave. The work that comes out of this walk-in shop is top tier. Everyone was so nice and professional both times around. Ricardo did a phenomenal job replicating a signature on an old letter from my belated dad. He truly brought a tattoo that meant so much to me, to life. Excited to be going into Liquid Courage on Monday to see more of what their artists have to offer.

I absolutely love this place! I’ve come in for 3 tattoos(first the otter and a year later added the planets) all with Greg and he’s done an amazing job every time. I’ve seen other artists work as well and would absolutely go to any of them. 10/10 will ALWAYS recommend

They did amazing work on all of my tattoos they did while I lived up in Nebraska. I love when I can come in and get a new one right then and there and they make sure your design comes to life and is what you hoped. I have had three different people do mine and they are all amazing!(The rose was not there work sorry)

SG is the best. Yes, you have to get there early and wait (usually an hour ahead will get you close). Yes, sometimes you might not get in because the line is too long. Yes, patience is a virtue. But if you plan ahead and get in, youll be treated well, get a great tattoo from a great artist (you cant really go wrong with whoever you get, I have 5 from 5 different artists and love them all), at a fair price. Its awesome for those of us who like to get inked, maybe on short notice, with the option of scheduling longer sessions (with the same artists) at Liquid Courage if you prefer to go that route. But having a dedicated walk in option in Omaha is awesome and for it to be this quality, all the better.

Great tattoo shop. Very clean and will decorated. Its a walk in shop only. The artist rotate in and out. Check the website to see which artist are working if hoping to get work done by a certain artist. Cash only and dont forget to tip your artist.

Rockford was the best - super easy, in and out. First time getting a tattoo and he was super calm and chill. The whole place was clean and easy if you want something smaller and easy. 5/5! Would recommend!

I love this shop. Its clean and organized, the artists are all very talented, theyre playing a good playlist, and you can tell they love what they do. Ive gotten at least 4 tattoos from this shop, and a couple from their main location Liquid Courage. Line up early to get in before they fill up for the day. Then you can check out nearby shops and restaurants while you wait your turn. These artists are booked months and months out, but you can catch them on a walk-in basis here at Sailors Grave. Check their website or fb page to see when your favorite artist will be there. And watch for the raffle late fall early winter to benefit Pine Ridge. I love that they do that every year. I finally won that raffle last Christmas, and I LOVE the tattoos I spent it on!

Fantastic experience, amazing artist!I came in from out of town for a tattoo by Devin.He was phenomenal to work with. The shop was great and the artists/staff were friendly.Devin took all of my ideas and pictures and came up with something WAY better than I imagined. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend friends or family to the shop and to Devin.-- Devin did the branches and the PS 29:11, Not the BLOOD of the Lamb portion.--

My 3 girlfriends and I went to Sailors Grave to get matching-ish tattoos to commemorate our annual hiking adventures. The walk-in process with the artists was super easy. You just had to have a little patience. My friends all got tattooed by Martin, he was very nice and they had a good experience. I was tattooed by Asa and would absolutely get another tattoo by him. Hes was super cool and a fantastic artist.

Greg did fantastic on my fine line tattoo! Highly recommend.

Dan is my tattoo artist for now 7 yrs. He’s talented, like very talented. I look forward every time i want a tattoo because he’s always open to ideas for what I want AND, he’s hella friendly. It is important to me bc getting my body marked forever is a BIG DEAL. Dan will make you feel at home and he will always make sure you are okay while the process.

To say I am a satisfied customer would be an understatement. The quality of the work and the artistic capabilities of the artist (Devin) completely exceeded my expectations. Getting a tattoo was an extremely meaningful and cathartic experience for me and working with Devin made it even more so. He was friendly, inviting, open, and honest. Had a great experience here getting a custom walk-in tattoo done! Staff was very friendly and professional with the check in process, and I loved the work that Johnna did for me. She made sure I was happy with the size and placement before starting and I didnt feel rushed at all through the process. All in all took just over an hour from start to finish. Definitely recommend this studio if youre wanting a walk-in done!

I had a great experience getting a new tattoo there! It was my second time getting something done there and both times were very good. The front desk lady was kind and helpful with scheduling when they had time for me, and Heath who did my tattoo was very kind and helped me get exactly the tattoo I wanted! I will definitely be scheduling with him at liquid courage soon.

Asa did an amazing job with not only the tattoo itself but also being personable! I was super nervous getting my tattoo and he worked through it with me making sure the design and placement were exactly what I wanted. I got it on my ribs and was worried about the pain but his calmness helped me feel comfortable. The tattoo itself was executed perfectly and I’m SO happy with how it turned out. My experience was awesome all around and I’ll definitely be doing back and getting another tattoo from Asa!

Jen is great! First come, first serve, know what you want, they dont have any bad artists, sit still, behave and know that you are getting what youre paying for.

Jesse kept it very professional the entire time & explained everything thoroughly. He did an amazing job & I am really satisfied with how my tattoo turned out.

Service was great and the tattoo artist I had did an excellent job bringing my idea to life. It is nice to have a walk in tattoo shop in the area. The only downside is that you basically need to show up right when they open at 12pm to get on the list because it tends to fill up every day.

My daughter and I were visiting Omaha because my mom had surgery. My daughter got her first tat and everyone at SG was amazing. Our artist Johnna was the absolute best!

10/10 would recommend Jenn for any and every piercing needs! She walked me through the entire process, taught me everything I needed to know before, during, and after, completed the services at a reasonable price, and helped me regain my composure when I started to feel woozy after. This was my first time getting pierced and would highly, highly recommend her to any and everyone for their piercing needs.

Super nice people and super professional. I am covered in 80% of Adrian’s tattoos and he really knows what he doing and his pricing is super fair cause the work he does just knocks everything out of the park and the tattoo just flies by because conversation just flows so easily and he even lets you pick the music and if you bring him a candy bar before you become his favorite person

Love this shop. Have been tattooed by Ryan Spangler several times and am always amazed at the quality of his work. His designs are bold homages to the forefathers of American tattooing. His colors are the brightest around—probably because he makes his own inks and crams them full of pigment. And on top of his talent, he’s just a nice guy that goes out of his way to make sure you have a great experience. I’ve recommended Ryan to several people and they all say the same about their experiences. Thumbs up!

This is a very nice tattoo parlor. The place is very clean and organized. I have received quality work from the artists I have been tattooed from. Keep in mind, this is a walk in shop so they do not take appointments. If you are going to attempt to go on a Saturday, the line starts forming around 10 even though they dont open until 12. They only do single session tattoos. I will for sure be going back to be tattooed again. I also plan on visiting their sister shop, Liquid Courage for a larger tattoo I have in mind.

I’ve gotten multiple walk-in tattoos before and have never had an issue with somebody speaking to me so condescendingly even-though the design was not elaborate. Although I understand appointments can be made, this was really not a complicated ask and specifically Asa was extremely rude. Update: the reply below is not only passive aggressive but also disregards the fact that Asa was condescending. I understand if a tattoo would take too long, requiring an appointment but there is a nice way to say that and doesn’t need to be said in a demeaning way nor does it necessitate a passive aggressive reply from the owner. As a woman, it certainly felt as though I was being talked down to and not taken seriously, almost like I was a child. That’s my biggest fear when I enter any tattoo place and that was realized today.

There’s a reason a line forms two hours before the place even opens. The wait is worth it. It’s my favorite place to get ink, everyone is super cool, and the crew does outstanding work.

Ive gotten two tattoos from Sailors Grave and will definitely be going back for more. Johnna did the owl on my left foot and already knows what owl she wants to do on my right foot. I also got an owl on my back that was done by a guest artist that was in from California. Friendly staff, fair prices, excellent work!

It was an awesome experience from start to finish. Ryan did my tattoo, and it turned out amazing. I come in with a quick sketch of an idea, and he made it even better. He had a couple ideas about it, but I wasnt a fan of the ideas, and he wasnt rude or a jerk about me telling him I didnt like that idea. When getting the tattoo, Ryan was a neat guy to talk to. I will definitely go back to Sailors Grave!

I have been wanting a tattoo for a long time but could not decide on what I wanted and where I wanted it placed. I live in North Carolina and was visiting my daughter and grandchildren. My daughter, her friend and I decided to get tattoos. Greg was our artist and was amazing! I showed him what I wanted and he made suggestions to make it better than I ever dreamed! He even suggested an artist here in North Carolina for my husband. Being a nurse, I was so impressed with the sterile techniques! Yes, I will visit again!

Just got my 3rd tattoo from Ryan Spangler, he did an amazing job again! Took my 2 sisters with me and they each got their first tattoos ever. Ryan explained the process to them and put them at ease. I absolutely love this tattoo shop. So far Ive gotten two tattoos and have received great customer service each time. The last tattoo I got I had to wait 4 hours to get but it was worth the wait. I had a great experience here for both of my last tattoos, one fun cat one with Johnna and a cover up rework with Dan. Both artists did a wonderful job and I will definitely keep coming back.

Very respectful, neat little extension of Liquid Courage, that helps take care of the smaller tattoos so people who want an artist from Liquid Courage but dont want to wait weeks for it.They were friendly and helpful and did my friends tattoo for a great price. They were also very honest with me when I asked about getting my tattoo touched up telling me I would have to charge you $60 just to open a needle. Dont make me charge you that for that small of a touch up, wait until you get another tattoo or until you touch up both. Its great that they were so honest with me! I highly recommend Sailors Grave if youre getting a small-er tattoo or making an appointment at Liquid Courage if youre planning on a large one!

Got a tribal sea turtle 🐢 tatoo. My first tatoo experience was very good. Jesse did the tattoo in an hour and a half. Very little pain during the non-stop session. Tattoo is perfect.

You know what itll keep me coming back for a third tattoo is the straight up honest realistic and human approach to my idea and making it an art piece. And in a language I can understand from a tattoo artist. And easy access even though its covid was fast efficient secure and super confident people helped make this whole experience what it was. G great ideas turn into fabulous outcomes when I wanted to cover up this tattoo of a ticking time bomb.

Awesome shop with amazing artist. I had Asa do my sons foot print, name, and date of birth and couldn’t be anymore rhapsody than I am with it. He did his exact print and added his own touch to the design. It’s been about 2 years and it still looks perfect. I send everyone I know to this shop and their main shop.

Took my sister to get her belly button pierced and she was very nervous, but the piercer did an amazing job helping to calm her down and reassure her. the atmosphere is very calming and nice... great prices for great work! great customer service

Wow and amazing. Recently my girlfriend and I went there with our own ideas and sketches, hoping to get close to what we wanted, and boom - mind blown! Hers was exact, but the skin art was way better than the color sketch she hoped for. A+ and thanks Dan. As for me however, I spent months thinking and hours drawing the tattoo I was wanting, but knowing Devins work and reputation, I told him to simply use it as a guideline and just roll with it, so he he did. In 20 minutes on paper he shamed my months of thought for the better, but the artistic outcome on my arm was breathtaking. I would have imagined it to be great because all his work is, but Im still shockingly amazed and still almost speechless about the outcome of a couple hrs time. The perfection of the smallest detail and sheer beauty of the art wasnt all, but the professional talent and courtious kindness went a long way with me from both Dan and Devin. I must also point out the patience of Devin, because of my low level of pain tolerance and the way I acted during the process, he was understanding and didnt show any frustration (though Im sure he was).I am not benefiting in any way from this review, nor was I even asked to give one. Asa did a great job with my walk in tattoo even though I didnt have an exact photo or idea. He freehanded the tattoo, lined and shaded it in 45 minutes. Staff is polite as well. Thanks, SG! Ill be back.

I showed up before they opened, he was able to schedule a tattoo for the day. Our tattoo artist (Dan)was able to create exactly what we wanted and performed the tattoo quickly and efficiently. I will definitely come back

I was visiting my mom for the weekend and wanted to get matching tattoos for her bday. We went to Sailors Grave and showed them our idea and where we wanted it. Nearly 2 hrs later, we were tatted and happy. Asa was our artist and he was very personable.

Great artists and amazing americana style walk ins only so no appointments the best times to show up is wednesday or thursday about an hour before they open if you wanna be first because there will be a line they are pretty well known locally but they are top notch and decent pricing they work for the customer but do show some respect and they discriminate against no one

Walked in and I was only told how much they can’t do for me. I wanted to tattoo the same size that I’ve gotten done before at the same place here at Salors grave… it’s like they don’t want business and I have had tons of good experiences here before!

This is a great place if you want a simple tattoo. Ive been here twice and the staff is great. I brought in my own designs and they transfered them beautifully! Very reasonably priced too.

This is the only place (besides their sister shop, Liquid Courage) that I have gotten tattooed, because its such a great place. The environment is clean, the artists are friendly and professional, and youll leave with an amazing piece of art!

Cant say enough good things about this experience. Walked in with my boyfriend and we were in the chairs in a matter of minutes. Artists were constantly checking our comfort and made great conversation. Definitely wouldnt mind coming back here for more.

Me and my daughter stopped in here for her Birthday to get mother/daughter tattoos and as soon as we walked in the door we got AHOLE vibes. Extra rude and unprofessional. I will never set foot in this place again and do not recommend this joint to anyone. I was embarrassed that I even brought my daughter to such a place. Jerks!!!

For 3 days we have been trying to set up a appointment. Tried calling the store 15times as we followed the instructions on the website and their automated text message is not coming. When you email them they refuse to help even though you explain in detail what is going on. Called Liquid courage their other location they answer right away and the text goes through right away. Ended up going elsewhere as they refuse to help but want to make money

It took me years to start getting tattoos again after my experience here. The most painful couple hours of my life. Felt like someone was carving into me.It literally looks like i had my cousin dwayne make a tattoo gun and ink me up behind his trailer after he had been on a 3 day whiskey binger. I wanted a pin up girl,and ended up with what looks like an oompah loompah outlined in crayon. Super thick black lines about a quarter of an inch thick.When i have to take my shirt off in public, which i i hate doing because of the abomination on my back, i feel like im being judged. I dont blame them. I have a tattoo that is on par with wearing a mullet and a fanny pack and drinking a steel reserve in my american flag speedo.

Severely disappointed with the professionalism of this shop. The phone number listed on the website is not attended to and there is a different one listed on the outside of the shop. After calling that number, we were directed to email an address to set up an appointment. The person on the phone line did not offer an email address over the phone, directing us to either a website or their instagram, which seemed a bit unnecessary as it could’ve just been communicated over the phone. After emailing the address, we received an email confirming a time. The email’s instructions were very unclear, directing us to go to a website to fill out forms in order to comply with COVID and other assumption of risk forms, while also saying to reply “YES” to the email to confirm. It was unclear which step to take first, and as we were attempting to fill out the online forms before we replied, we received an email ten minutes after the confirmation email that our time was canceled. We called to ask why and we were told we lost our time and to try again later in the week in a very unfriendly and unprofessional manner. All this is to say, do not rely on a time that they give to you as you never know when they will cancel it—even literally ten minutes after they themselves send a confirmation email as you are in the middle of filling out their forms.

Love that you can walk in no need for an appointment but bring cash they dont take cards you can see who is working on their website as artist rotate each week at this location I recommend this place I have got 3 tattoos from Asa and 1 from Ryan

Overpriced and rude staff. Went in and the staff member who was just standing around think his name was Asa made it seem as though it was an inconvenience that I was even there. Devin drew it right on and ripped through the tattoo like nothing! It healed great, just as dark and solid as the day I got it.

Went in to get my moms birth flower as she passed on her birthday and ended up getting a blowout. Now I have a permanent bruise and my arm.

Poorly run shop. Stood in line before they opened, talked to one of the artists when they opened at noon, was told I could get in near the end of of the day (6:30-7), came back at 6 and was told that I should have waited in the shop until I got in. I won’t be back to try again.

I called and talked to them, they said they were open until 8. I told them I was picking up my girl friend, then I would be there. At 6:45 there were already closed.
