Our piercing artist was extremely knowledgeable and a delight. Her technique is flawless, experienced, and smooth. They have a wide variety of piercing stud topper choices and the materials are the best. The environment was super clean yet comfortable. I enjoyed the comfy couch, fidgets, and bottled water available in the waiting area. The decor was well-done with many details. I found something to examine everywhere I looked. The receptionist was professional, quick, kind, and friendly. Skin Deep is top-notch and I will definitely be back!

I’ve been getting tattooed by Logan Smith for over a year. He’s been fantastic always does great work and has good advice for building sleeves. If you like American traditional tattoos couldn’t recommend anyone better!

I have been pierced here as well as my daughter recently (on different occasions). Kacee is a wonderful piercer for adults AND children! She explains everything thoroughly and keeps the atmosphere calm while also keeping up the hype/excitement about a new piercing. Highly recommend!!

Johnny did my piercing. He was amazing. I thought I had.a little issue with it. He saw me right away and made sure everything was good. Kacee changed out my stud to a hoop. Everyone there is so nice and welcoming.

Jonny did my nostril piercing and let me tell you: he nailed the experience!!! Or should I say, all of the staff knocked it out of the park? The check in/paperwork was quick and easy, I was greeted kindly & Jonny met up with me briefly to let me know he was setting up. He took me back, helped pick out my jewelery (and explained what type of jewelry & why they use it) & finished sanitizing. He was able to talk me through the procedure ad he was doing it and was SUPER reassuring/calming. I highly recommend him and this place! Thanks for an awesome experience!

This is hands down the best place to get piercings. I’ve got my daith, double helix, conch and rook done here and I cannot say enough amazing things about this place. The metal is top quality and if you’re doing a bunch of changes to piercings they’ll give some discounts with anodizing/ gems. The piercers are so kind and catering when you have any issues with the piercing. And genuinely I absolutely adore this place. Absolutely worth the money to get top quality jewelry and care!!

Mike W. Has amazing talent. I think he did such a great job on my tattoo for my dad. As well as Monte who does piercings, is the freaking best. Ive had several piercings done by him and hes so knowledgeable and takes the time to talk to you about all of his contributions to the piercing world. 2 very talented and amazing people that work here.

I got pierced by Kacee and she was so sweet and walked me through the entire process and said she would order a matt brown stud if piercings weren’t aloud at school

I took my daughter to get her naval pierced. Jonny was so honest, he would do it, however, it wouldnt stay in because of how her belly button is. I REALLY appreciated his honesty! There are people that would do it just to get the money. I really respect him for that and would definitely go back to him for any other piercings.

Mike did my throat tattoo last year at the tattoo convention and we finally finished it this year (I kept getting sick before the appointment and I was NOT going to get everyone in the shop sick). I LOVE the final product of his work and cant wait to get more done by him. Mike is so sweet and very understanding of my pain related PTSD and was definitely accepting of my use of the tattoo numbing cream. 10/10 if I could. Love you guys!!!!

So grateful to Jonny at Skin Deep! I had an extremely strange issue with an old nose piercing that I had done at a different shop. I was frustrated with my original piercer, because while she was skilled, she barely listened to me and always acted impatient. I decided to come here based on the friendly vibes of the website and reviews, and am so glad I did. Jonny was kind, really took time with me, asked me lots of questions, was extremely considerate of my concerns, and figured out a way to resolve the issue with no pain and minimal trauma to my piercing. Less than a week later and its healing beautifully now. This thing had been stressing me out for months. My only regret is that I didnt come to Skin Deep sooner!

I can’t say enough good things about this shop! From the call to set the appointment to walking out the door there was nothing but professionalism. The facility was immaculate, the staff was amazing. My wife had her nose pieced and my daughter had her ears pieced. Monte the piecer took time to explain everything he was doing and was amazing with my young daughter. I would highly recommend this shop. Watching them sterilize the equipment and jewelry in the small autoclave in the room was really reassuring as well. Thank you so much guys and we will be back for sure!!

Took my little girl who wanted to get her ears pierced. I loved how clean and bright it was, and how they checked her birth certificate to make sure she was old enough. In addition, her piercer took the time to talk to her about what was happening, what he was going to do, made sure she was still ok with doing it, and did a great job at making sure she felt comfortable throughout. I appreciated the common sense after care instructions and the professionalism. If youre looking to get ears done for kids, dont bother unless theyre 5 or older, this place is serious about getting the childs consent (which as a parent I can super appreciate!). Im happy to recommend this laid back and professional place for parents who have kids interested in getting pierced.

My daughter and I had a great experience at Skin Deep. Jenny and Mike are super nice. They made it feel like a friendly and engaging pediatric visit! They are also extremely mindful about cleanliness and covid protocol. My daughter has a low pain tolerance and she said she hardly felt it! I highly recommend going to a piercing shop for child ear piercing. It was also a nice touch to have speakers in the room...we listened to Kidz Bop per her request. 🥰

Got a double eyebrow piercing today, done by Kacee. She was absolutely lovely and her charisma is unmatched.

Ill start with Kimmy because she is the first person I encountered at Skin Deep! She was friendly, informative, and patient with all my questions! My appointment was with Mike Coons. He was also patient and informative with my questions and concerns. He also made sure that he understood what I was asking for and in the end it came out better than I had imagined! Everything was clean and sanitary. He took his time measuring the placement of my piercings and went over my aftercare with me. This was the day before Christmas and Mike said if I had any issues to contact him immediately, even if it was on Christmas day! If all that wasnt enough, the part that made me want to do a review was this: About 2.5 weeks after my appointment I had some concerns (it ended up being nothing just healing slower than I expected) and a few questions. Mike called me immediately to follow up and decided I should come in just to be safe. Kimmy again was very sweet and made my follow-up appointment. When I arrived Mike didnt make me feel silly for my concerns and said it was always better to be safe than sorry! In the end I love my piercings and would recommend Skin Deep to anyone looking to have work done! Side note...I already had my larger piercing done. The 3 smaller ones were the newbies!

Stopped in because I lost one of the balls to my septum stud. Talked to Kacee and she was so nice! She went out of her way to find a ball that would fit my stud and replaced it within 5 minutes!! First time going to this shop and I will definitely be back for my piercing needs! Cant describe how much I appreciate how nice she was!! Made my week!!

I took my young daughter here to get her ears pierced and we had such a positive experience! Our piercer was Kacee and she immediately put my daughter at ease, explained things every step of the way as well as gaining her continued verbal consent throughout the process. She answered all of our questions and did a fantastic job with the piercing itself. I cannot recommend Skin Deep and Kacee enough!

I went in to talk ideas, make appointmentSuper nice, explained certain things I did not know about. 1st place I went to in 1 year looking to get a tattoo that answered the phone, responded quickly thru emails, seemed interested. I had my nose pierced and my daughters got their ears pierced it was a great experience. Jewelry is surgical grade titanium, a must for anyone with metal sensitivity like my daughter. Must make appointments, so call ahead.

I found my new go-to place! I went in for a nostril piercing and was so impressed. First off, very friendly and helpful. Not intimidating as most shops I’ve been to. Secondly, the cleanliness is so good! And my piercer was able to get the piercing through so smoothly. She also answered all of my other questions regarding gauges and tattoos. And plus their jewelry quality was quite wide and beautiful. 5 stars

DO NOT RECOMMEND IF YOU WANT CARE AND PERFECT PLACEMENT for your piercings.I took my two sisters here and we spent over $500 dollars getting various ear piercings. The man doing it says he had over 27 years of experience, which I why I choose to bring them to this place. His placement of a few of our cartilage piercings are making it so they won’t heal and one is actually falling out. It’s pulling on my ear and I have been told by two different piercers that I need to get it redone and placed further back in the ear if i want it to heal and not be rejected. He didn’t care about after care or if we were happy. I had planned on coming back and getting another piercing. And when I went in for that consultation, he was rude, rushed me out and didn’t care or even ask about the multiple piercings he had did a few weeks prior. I have over 70 hours of tattoos and frequent piercing and tattoo shops and I have never experienced service like this and I have been all over the US.

I got my first tattoo here nearly 4 years ago. Everyone I contacted was super respectful and made me feel confident and comfortable going there. I was 17 and my artist was Shawn Pierce, though I dont think hes there anymore.The shop was clean and made me feel extremely safe.After being rejected from a few other shops where I live, I branched out to the omaha area and they actually agreed to do my tattoo. ( a lot of shops didnt want to do mine because I was a minor lol, thats valid!) I wound up with a bright red rose that I drew concept art for and they made it better. The team didnt talk down to me even though I was a minor, they treated me like a customer and an actual person (which was nice! Many places only addressed my parents but these guys stressed me personally!)The team was open to any questions I had and even explained some tattoo techniques to me!They also sent home a set of written aftercare instructions that I follow to this day for most of my tattoos. My tattoo has aged beautifully and I dont see myself needing the color touched up any time soon!Of all the places Ive gone, Skin Deep will always hold a special place in my heart. I never once felt cheated by the price, nor pressured to do anything I didnt want.Ive reccomended them to countless friends and customers and will never be shy to give my 100% review!I may be almost 4 years late, but thanks!

This one was of my best piercing experiences! Kacee was so great and the shop is really nice and welcoming. Ive been getting pierced for years but Ive never had such personalized jewelry for a piercing! I picked a color that I wanted my bars to be and she showed us the whole anodizing process! So neat! Nice shop, super clean, very professional, good vibes. So much information and many great tips, which is so great for people who have never gotten piercings as well as piercing veterans! I recommend this place, absolutely!

Ive been working with Mike to get a pretty big back and shoulder piece for a while. Hes been so amazing, and he is such a phenomenal tattoo artist. I came in with my own drawing, and when he drew up his version, it was 10x better than I could even imagine. I am so happy with Mikes work, I highly recommend him. I will be coming back for many more!The shop itself is also very open and welcoming. While I waited in the lobby, every person who works there have always been friendly and polite. Great place to get pierced and purchase jewelry as well.

Kasey was absolutely Amazing with my 3 girls. She was so kind and sweet with them. She took the utmost care to ensure everything was sterilized and clean. I went in today to have a Daith piercing done for each ear. I was greeted by the sweet receptionist Kat who was great at walking me through the necessary steps prior to my appointment. Mike was the guy who pierced my ears and he did a PHENOMENAL job! Ive had more pain stubbing my toe! He was very thorough telling me what he was going to do and when. He was extremely personable too. I dont know how many people say this, but getting my piercings was a very enjoyable process today! I absolutely recommend this shop and this Artist for your piercing needs. Great shop and wonderful group of humans. Logan did a pice for me and was absolutely awesome through the whole process. Made it a point of making sure I was happy through the design, placement and end result. Can’t speak highly enough about the experience.

I cannot recommend getting a tattoo from Logan. He showed me a drawing of a tattoo that we discussed and he asked me if I approved of the drawing…I said yes & he prepared the stencil. When I looked at the stencil (on my back in the mirror), I was looking at the placement of the drawing - it never occurred to me that he would change the design that I approved just 10 minutes earlier! Logan is very particular about his artwork, but that does not supersede the rights of my body!

Everybody that I dealt with here was so extremely wonderful! They were super sweet and super caring even for a nervous Nellie like me! Im terrible with names, but my piercer had pink hair and is just a lovely person altogether! I was also greeted buy another awesome person at the desk who treated me just as well! Both folks I worked with not only ease my mind but let me know what to expect every step of the way! By far the best service Ive had of any kind in a very very long time! I cannot recommend them enough!You rock!

I came in with an infected tragus piercing due to cheap jewelry and Kacee did an amazing job of explaining about their jewelry and the process of my piercing healing etc. I have gotten pierced all over the US (Omaha, Houston, Amarillo, Tulsa, Portland) and never had a piercer to as thorough and professional of a job as she did. You can tell she really cares about her job and doing it well. I highly recommend her for piercings (or help with infected ones!).

Loved it Kacee was chill and fun to talk to and made my cartilage piercing as painless as possible. After looking at Omaha Best, I booked with Evan Dooley as his work really landed itself to the original concept that I wanted. He was awesome about scheduling, and politely asked if I was willing to let him redraw the concept keeping the important parts. His rework was beautiful and he offered several options in varying size. He was great about explaining anything I asked and checked in on me that I was comfortable during the outline and shading process. He gave me great feedback and showed his experience and craft by asking if we could break it into 2 sessions so that he could have the exact colors he wanted and give my skin the appropriate time to heal between sessions. Evan is a true professional and priced reasonably for the quality of work done.

Great shop. Got my seconds pierced along with my son and daughter. My daughter had her cartilage pierced. Great experience, very knowledgeable and caring. So much fun too! Look for ducks all around!

I set an appointment for several things. I needed to downsize my helix jewelry, upgrade the quality of jewelry in my one of my daith piercings as well as pierce my other nostril. We ended up changing both daith piercings jewelry for a matching esthetic which I did not feel any pressure or anything of the sort during. The downsize I didnt even feel either. Obviously I did feel the fresh piercing going in but it was a simple pinch and over. Kaycee was very patient and explained the entire process and took her time trying to symmetrically match my existing nostril piercing as best as possible and I could not be happier with the results. I will definitely be in this shop for any future piercing needs!

Kacee did an amazing job on my cartilage piercing! Ive had many piercings in the past and have gone to American Tattoo, Big Brain, Eye Candy and others! Kacee at Skin Deep did a wonderful job educating me, going over options, discussing risks and benefits, and carefully selecting the earrings and placement. She even took the time to acid bath the titanium to a gold color to match my existing jewelry sets. She carefully cleaned everything in front of me, changed her gloves several times and autoclaved all of the piercing materials before we began. Her attention to detail and commitment to clean, safe piercings is outstanding! I highly recommend Kacee at Skin Deep! 10/10 stars

I cant speak to the tattoo side but the piercers are top notch. Casey was excellent in providing my daughter piercings for her lobes, upper ear and nose. The owner demonstrated immense patience and service in working with my mom and went the extra mile to make sure she was happy with her nose piercing. Very clean and very thorough, thoughtful work from these guys, no reason to go anywhere else for piercing work.

I never knew I had a sensitivity to jewelry until I came here! I originally came to get some lower quality jewelry I was pierced with switched out at a different studio, and I’m never going back anywhere else. All of my piercings have healed wonderfully since coming here, something I didn’t think was even possible. Mike Coons was super friendly and helpful and I am very pleased with the service I received. Definitely the only place I would recommend people to get pierced at in Omaha. 10/10!

I used to be heavily pierced many years ago but corporate America and skin allergies got in the way until recently. In February I made an appointment to get my ears repierced.Then didnt show up because I had emergency gallbladder surgery.I called when I got out of surgery and let them know. Mike, the owner, texted me and sent me well wishes for my recovery. That kindness alone is why they have me as a customer for life.Lets fast forward! I re-made my appointment for yesterday to get 4 of my ear holes repierced. Kacey Bateman(I am totally spelling this wrong) was knowledgeable, kind, transparent, and extremely professional. She was able to simply put jewelry in prior piercings. Her bedside manner is also great and she was a delight to speak with while she fixed up my ears.I cannot wait to get more piercings here and highly reccomend. The parlor is also IMMACULATELY clean. Very similar to a very nice dentist office. 10/10 best piercings experience I have ever had.

Mike did a fantastic job. His bedside manner is beyond what youd expect, simply amazing. The love for his work shows. He took his time and talked directly with my 6 yr old daughter, not just me the parent. The experience was worth every penny and we have one very happy girl! They are awesome and only use the best material for piercing, hence some peoples complaints about price. Warm, welcoming and a happy laid back environment. Appt only but what do you expect from a quality place with a good reputation in the community.

Went here for the first time to get some piercings. They take Covid procedures seriously which is a good thing. Expect to have your temperature taken and be asked to wash your hands before paperwork is filled out. All of the staff is super nice and helpful. The owner did my piercings and was kind with his professional opinions. They had a wide variety of jewelry to choose from and are extremely talented when it comes to the actual piercing. Everything was clean and quick. Absolutely ecstatic about the results and price. Some places would charge much more for a shotty experience. Would highly recommend!!

Great Customer Service! I have been working with Mike Welch for the last two months getting the correct design completed and he has been fantastic! There were a couple of times I had time scheduled and due to changes in my calendar, I was forced to push our appointment. Mike was great and worked with me the entire time. I just finished getting the first half of my ink done today and again, the staff was great; and Mike completed the work. Best experience I have had in the business. I look forward to finishing this work and getting more done in the future.I appreciate the Skin Deep staff and specifically Mike for working with me and creating a great design!

Highly recommend Skin Deep! I had issues with a fresh nose piercing from another shop and Mike took me in right away (even though an appointment is required) and was able to help me with exactly what I needed. Due to my experience and issues Mike took the time to explain everything to me and what I needed to do going forward to ensure my piercing was happy and healing healthy. Shawn was awesome, from coming in to meeting about the tattoo I wanted to making it happen the next day(granted I got extremely lucky due to a reschedule) I couldn’t be happier with how my tattoo turned out. 2.5 hours laying on your stomach isn’t ideal, but Shawn made me feel very comfortable and welcomed in the shop. All around the staff is energetic and very well kept up with cleanliness!

Only giving it two stars because the people there are super nice. But overall it’s WAYYY too overpriced for piercings ($160 for three ear lobe piercings) and it wasn’t even worth it because one of them got infected anyways.

I got a double helix piercing from Mike. He was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. He helped me pick out sizes and gave his honest opinion of what would work for me. He also provided me with detailed after care instructions and put my mind at ease. The shop was so clean and organized. I will definitely return to Skin Deep for any and all of my future piercings and tattoos!

Clean and knowledgeable! After much research, I took my 6-year-old to get her ears pierced at Skin Deep with Mike. I have multiple piercings in my ears and have memories of Claires off-center piercings, jammed piercing guns, and unhygienic practices and wanted a better experience for my daughter. Skin Deep is very clean and does not look like the typical tattoo shop, very welcoming. Mike was patient with my many questions and put my daughter and I at ease. My daughter was so comfortable that she didnt even realize he had finished piercing her first ear before moving on the other! I would highly recommend Skin Deep for piercings or tattoos.

As an adult, this is a place I would go, but not sure i would recommend for childrens ear piercing. I paid $140 (including tip) for my 8 year old daughter to get her ears pierced this summer, and it appears she has a metal sensitivity and can no longer wear earrings. There are more variables with kids, they cant always adequately explain how something feels and taking care of their piercing can be more complicated. I also could not put her original earrings that we bought there back in, it seems you need a special tool for them, and that was not explained to me. It was very clean, the staff was friendly and skilled, but for us it was not worth it.

Most professional piercing Ive ever gotten! I went in with two other friends and we all wanted different piercings. I got my cartilage pierced, one friend got her tragus pierced and the other got her lobes double pierced. Mike the piercer was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of our strange questions and made the experience really enjoyable for all three of us! He offered advice on what kind of jewelry to get and where to place it which was very helpful. They are very thorough with their sanitation process so there is no need to worry about cleanliness here. Although this place is a bit more expensive than other places, you are definitely getting the best quality jewelry and piercings in Omaha so in my book its worth it! I have had bad piercing experiences before and the pain of a bad piercing is not worth the cheapness of $20. Overall great experience and I would definitely go back!

After searching for someone to pierce my ears I stumbled upon Skin Deep Tattoo. I called ahead of time and made an appointment with Kacee. She was very friendly encouraging. She was up front with the pricing and how certain things may affect it. This was my first piercing and she made me feel very comfortable.She talked me through it step by step and wasnt hesitant to answer any questions. Even before the piercing Kacee serialized everything and wouldnt begin the process until the sterilization was complete. She used two different needles for both ears, which was wonderful. She even changed gloves after touching the sterilization machine before she pierced my ears. The piercings turned out great and I would highly recommend this shop to anyone in need of a piercing.

Shawn did my tattoo and I have to admit that Im not the easiest customer to deal with. Shawn is super patient, calm and makes you feel at ease. I got a piercing here too because the place is so clean. Mike is super slick with his piercings, I barely even felt it when he pierced my tragus. Love this place!!

Two of my daughters got their ears pierced here today.Monty was amazing. I highly recommend getting a piercing here.Monty has 28 years experience and a nurse during the week. Skin Deep sterilizes all the equipment and jewelry. They only use surgical steel, high quality jewelry.

We took our daughter here for her first ear piercings at the recommendation of her pediatrician. Mike was great and talked to her the whole time walking her through the process and telling her everything he was going to do before he did it. Definitely appreciate the thoroughness and experience.

Kacee did my daughters piercing. She was kind and patient and totally put her at ease. The place was very clean. The piercing was over so fast she didnt even have time to flinch. Would highly recommend.

I took my 6 year old there to get her ears pierced. My daughter was extremely nervous and Kacee (I hope I spelled it right) was very calm with her. She didn’t rush her or make her feel bad for being nervous. She calmly answered all of my daughters questions and asked her if there was anything she could do to make her feel more comfortable. My daughter did not end up getting her ears pierced and Kacee was nice and soothing to us about it. Telling us to come back when she was ready. I highly recommend her!!

Honestly, if I could give this place zero stars I would. My husband and I went on a trip to Omaha, we live in Minnesota. We wanted to see if we could get some tattoo time while we were on our trip, we walked into the shop where a very frustrated and unprofessional man immediately raised his voice at us and told us “NOBODY UNDER 18 IS ALLOWED IN THIS SHOP” he repeated himself like 3 different times while pointing at the door. All we wanted to do was to talk to someone about getting an appointment so we had our 1 year old with. We weren’t going to have him there if we were getting work done. So very unprofessional. Very disappointed, would of paid good money to get a tattoo but I’m so grateful we didn’t get it from there

We got our 4 year old daughter ears pierced here and they pierced them way to high! The earrings would always sit slanted at an angle they were so high. We ended up having to take them out as they would get caught on everything. We are now looking into getting her ears pierced again at a different tattoo shop once these holes close up. I do not recommend this place for children.

Mike did a daith piercing for me yesterday. It looks awesome! I love the placement of it. I thought the facility was clean and the employees were friendly and helpful. When I called to make the appointment, I had some questions and was immediately passed to Mike to make sure all my concerns would be answered. I would absolutely recommend this place for piercings! I called and asked about a surface tragus piercing for my 16 year old. They said no problem. We scheduled the appointment. They were super nice on the phone and very understanding when I needed to reschedule.Then we showed up for our appointment. They acted like we didn’t already have an appointment and asked us what they could do for us. Wouldn’t talk to us until we scrubbed our hands, then took our ids and told us to look at jewelry.The piercer then informed us they didn’t even have bars for surface piercings. Not only that but they didn’t pierce anyone under 18 for a surface even if they had them!All of this could have been said over the phone when I tried to make the appointment. Instead it felt like a major waste of time. They seemed to just want us to come in so they could talk us into another piercing. 😑😑 I should have just followed family reviews and worked with big brain.

Kacy was so friendly. I needed help with my earing and she cleaned all of my jewelry for me and put the earing back into my cartilage. Would highly recommend.

This facility is emaculantly clean (which is a must in this field). The jewelry is some of the best quality, and the Piercer and Tattoo artist are seasoned individuals.The owner is personable and willing to educate you on risk, care , and any other odd questions you may have. I cant say enough about this facility and its staff other than, you wont be disappointed in your experience there. I will continue to give them my business!Way to go guys, you rock!

Truly amazing place to get pierced. Monte was very energetic, friendly and made me feel very comfortable getting my septum pierced. He explained everything in great detail and addressed even the tiniest of concerns. I cant begin to express the level of amazing he was. I couldve chatted with him for hours. Getting pierced felt as painful as plucking a single nose hair, eyes watered a little bit, but thats it.

I had two piercings down previously that resulted in then having to be taken and closed. I went to Skin Deep and Mike was amazing. Mike took the time to explain everything making sure things were done the correct way. I’ve had no issues with my piercings and very happy with my results.

The place is awesome, had my cartilage & nose pierced here awhile back. even though it may look little pricey it’s because the quality is top notch, no problems with healing or anything !!! Shawn has done 3 of my tattoos & I’ll be definitely coming back to him to do plenty more.

I went in for a dermal removal with a piercer, Casey (I think that was her name) and she was so sweet. She made me feel comfortable and told me what she was gonna do before she did it, which is very important to me. Everything went quick and things were clean and sanitized. Got a piercing done by Monte on Feb 20th. Great guy and great piercer. I have had several done by him. He knows how to keep you calm and get the piercing done as quick and safe as possible. This is a great clean shop and will definitely recommend people to visit.

They are always so nice I got my nose pierced at a different place and got an irritation bump. I went to skin deep and they had me choose good quality metal that suppose to be used for piercing (I didnt have good quality metal before) and were so nice throughout the process.

We went to Skin Deep to get my 12 year olds earlobes pierced for the first time. Mike was our piercer and wouldnt even look at my daughter until he had an original copy of her birth certificate in his hands. He is very particular about keeping to the legal requirements for piercing in the state of Nebraska. He explained after care very thoroughly and performed the piercing very professionally. The facilities were clean and not scary in any way. One thing I will say, however, is that two months later, when I called to see if he would look at what I thought was a possible infection at my daughters piercing site, Mike refused to even look at it because it could be considered practicing medicine, which he is legally unable to do. So, just be aware that once you leave the store, you are kind of on your own. But other than that, our experience was very positive.

I have got tattoos all over the United States (Dallas, Georgia, Florida, Nebraska). I have now got 2 tattoos here at Skin Deep with Shawn and I am amazed and more than pleased with the work he has done. The shop is VERY CLEAN and Shawn and Mike do a great job of keeping everything in order and neat. Shawn is a great artist and his work is amazing. If you ever got a tattoo you know you do not want a artist with a heavy and unsteady hand. Shawn has a light hand and his work is so crisp and clean that you cant tell the difference from the photo to the tattoo. He is a very at ease guy and has an amazing personality. I am working on my sleeve with him now and extremely excited the way everything is coming together! By far the best tattoo shop, to me, in the United States. I am lucky enough to live in Omaha, Nebraska but if I did not I would drive or fly out just to get Shawn to do my work! SKIN DEEP ROCKS!!!

Ill start off by saying that I dont think I will EVER get piercings anywhere but Skin Deep after my experience yesterday. Long story short: They take COVID-19 seriously, are clean, aim for high quality, and take their time. Also, Kacee is awesome :)Long version--Here are some things that really stood out to me:-They take COVID-19 seriously, which is really appreciated as a nurse. They call you while you wait in the car to let you know when they are ready for you to come in, they take your temp when you get inside, and they have thorough paperwork to ensure that you havent exhibited concerning COVID-19 symptoms in the past 2 weeks and that you would call and let them know that if you come down with COVID-19 in the next week or so after your appointment.-They are clean. They take the sterile cleaning process very seriously. In the room that I was taken into, we talked some things over like placement and after care, as the sterile process machine was working to sterilize my earring options (I couldnt decide right away what I wanted for my one piercing) and anything needed for piercing. As soon as I was done with the piercing, Kacee was busy cleaning the chair/table that I was laying on.-They will not pierce something that does not work for you anatomy and that will not heal well. This was something that caught my eye on their website (one of the reasons I picked them) and was apparent when I called to make my appointment. I called to make an appointment for an industrial piercing, and they told me right away that they are not doing that kind of piercing at this time because this kind of piercing is not healing well with the constant on and off of masks. Additionally, Kacee looked at my ears and was honest; with my tiny ears and this weird, high earfolds, she wouldnt have done an industrial piercing for me anyways.-Kacee gets her own bulletpoint :) She is just the sweetest, so honest, and very considerate. She took her time showing me the different earring options, telling me the prices , and answering my questions (like her opinion on what piercings would work with my ear and what earring sizes to avoid with the piercing I decided on). Like I said, she told me why she would not recommend me ever getting an industrial piercing. She took her time recommending placement options for my helix piercing (like something others could still see looking at me straight-on). Before the piercing, she told me how to breathe when she pierced and ensured that I was comfortable even with how she was supporting my ear. The piercing itself was quick and painless. She communicated what she was doing each step of the way with putting the earring in and what I might feel and hear.

Me and my husband are new to Omaha. And we were in search for a tattoo place. Fortunately found skin deep close to where we live. We got our tattoos done by Christian. He is an awesome artist and a friendly man. Did a fantastic job with out tattoos. We got exactly what we wanted. The place is very clean and welcoming. Will Definitely recommend it if you are in search for getting a tattoo at a very affordable price.

This place was so clean and hygienic. Kacee Bateman did my piercing and she used clean tools and wore a surgical face mask. She was so nice and informative. The piercing was done so well that pain was very limited. She made sure to explain the after care thoroughly. Also I got my nose pierced with a stud and told her that in the future I wanted a hoop. She placed the stud specifically so that when I was able to put in a hoop, the hoop could fit well and be the correct size. Super nice people. Good at their jobs. Would recommend this place for a piercing.

Super trans-friendly place, the front desk lady was great and genuinely helpful and funny and the person who did my actual piercings ( I got earlobe piercings ) was super knowledgeable and made what shouldve probably hurt a bunch feel like just a pinch.Overall Highly recommend, super fun, inviting atmosphere and just a genuinely classy and enjoyable place with like-wise people!

I had a Daith Earring placed several months ago by Mike. Friday, very late it would have to be removed due to an MRI of the head to be performed on Monday. CAT was most wonderful with information on how to remove the earring and sent a You Tube site to my cell phone number. CAT went out of her way to make sure I understood the process, that I might want a second person to help me, exactly what to do and to keep all the earring pieces to br replaced, or to purchase a new earring. Yes it is Titanium an generally does not need to be bothered with with, but there are very rare occasions. Call CAT for all you questions. CAT will treat you right. Janet Baird

Always had my daughters and my piercings done at the malls cheapy jewelry shops without issue. After looking into what was better I decided to have my daughters cartilage done here due to the highly boasted claims of the shops abilities. It was immediately infected to the point it was oozing. Wasted $100. Not impressed at all.

I had a piercing redone, the piercer (Mike) was extremely helpful, answered all of my crazy questions and explained everything. Ive been back to get additional jewelery since and had several more questions answered. I got to watch him autoclave everything, so no worries on that front. In short, it was clean and professional, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Our young daughters got their ears pierced by Kacee Bateman at Skin Deep. I am so happy we decided to go to Skin Deep and were fortunate enough to get Kacee. She was wonderful with the girls. She explained everything to them, was very meticulous/precise and so sweet. She made them feel at ease and made them feel in control. Had an appointment with Mike in early October for a Christina piercing. He’s hard to gauge in attitude would be my guess. Took measurements. It’s now almost February. I’ve since called twice. They keep saying Covid special order. I don’t think they ever placed the order. Is it coming from China? Seems like other piercings on here are going on just fine. I even offered to pre-pay and wouldn’t take my money. Something is a little off.

I took my daughter (7) to get her ears pierced with Kacee. Kacee did such a beautiful job explaining everything and made my daughter feel comfortable about getting her ears pierced. As a registered nurse I was very impressed with the sterilization process of the tools and of Kacee’s sterile technique. What a stark contrast to our previous experience at Claire’s (her ears got infected and earrings had to be removed.)

Mike did my tat. It was a simple wedding ring that that meant a lot to me for my reasons. In the realm of tats its small, little time, little effort.But he treated it as important as it was to me. He took his time, he considered the life of the tat, what made it important to me, he covered so many angles and gave a lot of good advice and examples. Most importantly he worked with me to make it something Im very glad to have.If he takes this kind of care with something so small, imagine something much bigger?

I saw Monty today for a Helix piercing. He did great. He is a very nice and his knowledge of alot of things is impressive. He has accomplished alot and he is very proud as he should be. The awards/license/certificates on his wall prove it... Congrats Monty. And Thank you for a great piercing.

We went in and had a consult with Mike for my husbands first tattoo. He was awesome during the consultation and did a great mark up of my husbands ideas. However, the day of the tattoo he walked out with a mess that wasn’t the image we originally agreeded upon at the consultation or even what was applied as the mark up on his skin pre tattoo at the appointment. Very disappointed and will not return to Mike.

This place is fantastic! My 6 yr old girl got her ears pierced here. In each and every step along the way, these guys/ gals made the experience about HER. It was so cool, refreshing, and supportive. During the process, she was a little timid and nearly changed her mind. Went in to purchase a new ring for my septum piercing. After calling ahead to be sure I could get the jewelry without a piercing the receptionist first tells me she cant, then is trying to get me to wait 20 minutes for the piercing person to get done while trying to get me to fill out a consent form. After overly explaining and her claiming she under k wanted only the jewelry she still wanted me to wait 2 minutes to buy it. Needless say I left and no plans on returning either

I recently had a tattoo colored in at Skin Deep and I have to say the pricing and customer service was awesome. Such a clean and relaxing atmosphere. Ill definitely be going back for another tattoo. I even moved to Texas but plan to return to Omaha for my next.

I called to set up an appointment to get a tattoo. When they answered the phone they were very rude. Then when I went in to my appointment they were upset because my appointment wasnt until 4 but I was there at 3:30. There was a phone call while I was in there and once they were done they made fun of the customer who just called. I definitely will NOT go back nor will I refer anyone to them. I will stick with Bryan down at Big Brain where I am wanted and paid attention to. At least Ill get better quality tattoos there, regardless of the pricing!

After having a bad experience at another Omaha shop I called around to find someone who was equipped to handle someone with anxiety problems and needed a little extra attention. I couldnt have asked for a better person then Mike Coons. He listened to the situation and handled my daughter like a person and an adult. One of the best I have dealt with. Kacee pierced my son’s ear lobes and was great. Very informative, answered all questions, took necessary time. It was a great experience. Highly recommend her.

Rudest artist my wife and I have had.Was rude to her and her best friend when getting matching tattoos and degraded them for what they had picked. Also disrespected her when she asked for it to be moved or a minor change they would have liked. The artist went on to bash the tattoo my wife was getting until he finished it.Will not be returning due to the lack of respect and professionalism that went on there!

Piercings are very expensive here as they only offer titanium jewelry, the cheapest being $114 for ear peircing. It would be better to offer a choice between surgical steal which is typically used and titanium especially since most people change earings frequently so there is no need to use titanium. However, the piercer was very nice.

Clean, professional atmosphere. Mike explains every step of the piercing process to you before he does it and gives lots of info on aftercare. HIGHLY recommend him for your piercing needs!

I feel bad because I didnt get the person at the desks name but they were so helpful in my panic of not being able to get my nose ring back in. The piercer Monty was amazing for sneaking me in to put a new stud in. They were very knowledgeable and I will definitely be coming back for future services

Got a tattoo from Mike W. as a walk in. He happened to have a cancellation and got me right it. I am very pleased with my tattoo as it has healed nicely. I also enjoyed Mikes personable demeanor as we chatted the way through.

$125 for a lobe ear piercing? That is outrageous. $40 per earring stud… $80 in total? A true joke and waste of time. Save your time and money and go to Claire’s for better service, price, and quality.

Absolutly loved Montey I will never go anywhere else. He was such a fast piercer and I barley felt it when he pierced my nipples. Couldnt of had a better experience. Not the cheapest but worth every penny.

Got my nose pierced here a little over three/four months ago, where I’ve had it pierced before but have had it fall out while sleeping. This happened once again last night, which is absolutely NOT this locations fault, rather being one of things that can happen with a nose piercing and being a heavy sleeper. While getting it repierced, I asked what I should do if it falls out again, and they said if I came in before a 24-48 hour period after it fell out they would be able to put it back in before it fully closed. Decided to call them today, ask if they had piercers available, and right off the bat the man on the phone started responding very rude. “We have 2 piercers today, that’s kind of what we do.” I hadn’t asked how many they have, but rather if they had piercers who were ‘available’ today. He asked what I was looking to get, and I explained my situation of it falling out and wanting to redo it before it closed and how I was instructed to come in as soon as possible to get it redone. He then became pretty aggressive saying that he’s been there 6 or so years and nobody has ever said that to anyone because he doesn’t do that, and I must have been confused with replacing a stone if it fell out. He told me with scarring and tissues and such they would not be able to put it in for another two months (which is absolutely reasonable, I do not wish to have any tissue damage or scarring occur.) I was more so a little shocked he implied I had lied about what someone told me, when I specifically had asked about repiercing because it has fallen out before in the past. I started to explain how I had asked about the past piercing situation so I could figure out what to do, and he cut me off and told me “no that never happened here, nobody would ever say that,” before I was able to finish what I was saying. I replied with letting him know I was just trying to ask questions and maybe figure out what I should do, and he told me he already answered my questions and it was difficult to answer them when I wasn’t listening to him. I had not cut him off, and the only question he answered was when I asked their availability, which he responded rude and partially answered the question. I told him I was not being rude to him and I didn’t appreciate his rude behavior. He began backpedaling with “well sir I’m not being rude I’m explaining to you nobody ever said that.” After that I told him to have a nice day and hung up. I cannot comment on the quality of tattoos or the other artists/piercers at this establishment, but I will not be going back due to this unprofessional interaction I had with said individual.

Took my 9 year old daughter to get her ears pierced for the first time. The staff was great and made the whole experience for her amazing.

We went in to get a tattoo done for my cousin she wanted a cancer ribbon with our grandmothers name which was very sentimental to us. The tattoo came out okay... It wasnt really what she wanted they told her she could not have a name in it because she might grow which I understand but it was still what she wanted she agreed he looked at the the picture we wanted for like 2 min and he did not do what she wanted at the end. He would not say to words to us the entire time so for a nervous girls first tattoo it kind of pissed me off. for all the tattoos Ive seen done they always try to talk to them so its less nerve wracking. Christian really needs a lesson on customer service. Would not recommend christan. If Him could give negative starts I would.

I received my very first tattoo from Shawn a couple of months ago and he was so professional and did a amazing job! The shop was so organized and very clean! Hands down it is the only place that I would go to for a tattoo or a piercing!

Went in looking to get a decent sized tattoo on my arm. Chris the guy who does the tattoos was clearly not interested in talking to me let alone doing a tattoo. He was so busy playing on his tablet he couldnt be bothered to look at the pictures I had pulled up to give him an idea of what I wanted. His short rudely put answer was without a drawing I cant give you any answers. I will spend the hundreds of dollars at a shop that actually wants my money and has people skills. If I could give negative stars I would because 1 star is far more than they deserve.

The pricing here is awful, I got a tattoo here awhile back and have since gone to other shops. I paid $1100 for just a shoulder piece where every shop Ive been too since laughed at the price and said I completely got ripped off and I shouldnt of paid anything more than 500 max. Im now super disappointed in the integrity of the shop and the artists pricing and ripping off a new airman at the time I will not go back and have since found better shops that treat me more than fair. Learned this lesson the hard way.

Google hours showed 10am and the hours of 10 were also on your shop front door. Had to include 10am times as initial response from owner tried to inform me their shop opened at noon and he was perplexed where I got the open hours from. Two completely different responses.....customer beware.

I had my brows microbladed by the extremely talented Tayler. Now... I get out of the shower, I have brows. I spend all day sweating.... I have brows. I wake up every morning.... I have brows! She spend a lot if time talking to me about what I wanted, measuring out brow lines and perfecting her talent. Recovery went well. I will always have Tayler do my brows from now on. I cannot believe I waisted so much time and energy drawing on my brows everyday. Oh..... Talking with Tayler is like hanging with your best friend. She is such a chill gal. Go see her, you will love her, and your brows!!

Not the cheapest piercing place in town but they only use titanium jewelry for initial piercings which is really nice. Knowledgeable staff and very clean shop.
