I was down here for work and decided I wanted a tattoo, I had 2 smaller ones prior and wanted to get something bigger - a sleeve, or at least to start one. I called the shop and the owner Chris picked up. He was very nice and told me I could come in that day to get a free consultation; I walked in and loved the environment and the staff. Very very nice people. From there I met Chris where he led me to one of his employees - Willy V. I showed him what I had wanted and he told me he charges a minimum of $100 but for mine it was $500 which I was willing to pay no doubt. I’ve been to 3 different shops down here and gotten 3 different prices all ranging from $650-$800. He then booked me for the following day. To say I love this tattoo would be an understatement. He took the inspiration for my tattoo and put his own personal and artistic touch right into it. He made it pop in ways I wouldn’t have even thought and I would not want anyone to ever do another tattoo on me besides my main man WILLIE V!!!

We came in blindly on the artist here. It was definitely an experience worth your while with the humor and friendliness. The artist take their time and assure the tattoo is filled in properly.( $100 minimum)We will definitely continue going here.I recommend bringing your friends here!Chill environment and great job on the ink! Out of 13 places I’ve been, this one is by far the best!The owner is your friend here!

Chris, the owner, did amazing on my cover up and my first chest piece! I would recommend him a million times over anyone in the area! His shop provides a professional setting with service you can’t beat! Worth every penny.

Absolutely loved my tattoo from last night (6/1/2024). I got a memorial piece done by Willy and it turned out better than I could have ever expected! Everyone here is awesome and the environment is fantastic! I will be a repeat customer here!

I had my first experience getting a tattoo, at first I was kinda nervous but Willie did a fantastic job!!!! Amazing artist. Took what I wanted and made it 100x better than I thought it was going to be. Definitely will be going back! I highly recommend this place and artist Willie as well. Kept the session going with conversation, jokes, and even wilder stories. Thank you Willie!

The nicest people work here. They usually charge a $100 dollar minimum but for my small tattoo only asked $80.00 which was really nice. The artists are super talented and they are gentle with you. Doesnt hurt at all. I highly recommend Dog Nuts.

I was on vacation and decided to get this tattoo that i had been considering for a while. the environment was amazing from the first moment my girls and i walked in, my tattoo artist, chris, made me feel like i was getting my tattoo done by a friend, the vibes were immaculate and i couldn’t have asked for a more friendly and personable artist. I was in pain for a moment during this tattoo but he pushed me through, promising great results. this is my favorite and most beautiful tattoo. i wish you nothing but the best chris!

Aaron (Hubcap Jones) has done two amazing pieces for me, both as a walk in. He has tremendous respect for service members and their families and makes sure to take good care of them. My husband and I both are already planning our next pieces with him and cannot wait! I 100% recommend Aaron for quality work and good pricing.

I5/10 no doubt about it! I lost my mom last year and wanted a memorial piece for her. I gave Chris an idea of what I wanted and he ran with it and completely exceeded my expectations and blew it out of the water. He put his heart, creativity, and talent (like free-handing the whole bottom piece!) to this piece and I couldn’t be more happy with it!My husband and I felt completely comfortable there with the staff and had great conversation, and a great experience. It’s nice to find a place that you know that you can count on and that you can and will want to come back to!

One of the guys that works there goes by Hubcap Jones (tall/skinny/face tatts/dark short hair) does Heroin while tattooing & is disrespectful for no reason. He messed my friends tattoo up after rescheduling his appt 3 times. The tattoo only took 2 hrs & some of the lines on his cross were pretty crooked & he dug his skin too deep in some areas. He started to get irate when called & confronted, cussing him out & telling him he can pull up. Highly wouldnt recommend!!!

Zak did an awesome job on my tattoo tonight! It was last minute before I headed home from vacation and he took me in and got me right! Def be back!

We came in with a group of 5 looking to get a matching tattoo for Friday the 13th. After going to another shop and being turned away at only 5pm we decided to call around before going anywhere else. Much to our surprise shop after shop increased in attitude, letting us know they were done for the night. We were ready to call it quits but decided to call one last shop, you could hear over the phone how busy they were already. When asked if they were still accepting walk ins we were greeted with a kind, cheerful, inviting tone telling us to come on in. Expectedly, like with any other big event there was a pretty long wait. Through out the entire night each artist I saw or engaged with had a great demeanor. At almost 1am, they still were pushing just to get through the list! In a shop that had been open over 24 hours at this point, with artist who’ve had next to no sleep they were still a joy and put every customer first. Chris did all 5 of our tattoos with a wide range of differences for some this was their first tattoo, others already have multiple, aging 23-60. Each of us love our tattoos and the experience. We enjoyed his upbeat personality, attentiveness to detail, ease of conversation, hospitable environment! He did a phenomenal job all around! We will be back for sure! Most of us are already planning another trip! Would recommend him to anyone!

Absolutely Love this place. Chris is amazing and puts his all into his work and it shows. Phenomenal work and am so happy with my tattoo. He made my poorly done tattoo that I had previously from someone else and completely turned it around. I am in love with my piece and cannot wait to come back.

I’ve been coming to Dog Nuts for about 3 months now when I have time to get my right leg 3/4 sleeve started and completed. I’ve been meeting with hubcap after hearing about him on the r/ tattoo forums and his work is great. A light hand when working to keep pain down, great straight like work, and good at working your ideas into the tattoo as well. Approaches him with my Japanese “traditional” sleeve that breaks some rules and he’s done a fantastic job. If you’ve seen his empress tarot piece, this follows with that same black and red POP. I’m on crunch time to get the piece finished before moving and he’s stayed in touch and been willing to work all day and night laying pain. Can’t recommend him enough. When I get as close as possible to finished I’ll post some pics on here for the people!

I came in as a walk in for my first tattoo and it was a pretty big piece ! my artist chris did an awesome working with me and making sure i was comfortable throughout the whole process. he definitely puts his heart in his work ! will definitely be coming back in the future . the whole atmosphere of the place is awesome , everyone was so nice !

Zach Sparrows did my husbands and I tattoos for our lovely daughter! He did amazing work with the lily flowers we ask for! Very nice atmosphere and chill! Military friendly as well which was awesome! They take walk ins as well right now. 10/10 recommend!

The building is gross, theres no parking, and they left their wanna-be monster truck parked in such a way that youre unable to see traffic flow as you leave. If you dont mind nasty and dangerous, go right ahead.

Came in for Friday the 13th. Long wait which is to be expected but the atmosphere was awesome! Everyone was super friendly and nice! Chris ended up being my tattoo artist when my name got called. He did a great job doing a non flash tattoo and one from the flash sheet. Would definitely come back just because of how awesome he was!

Amazing atmosphere here! i have now gotten two tattoos here with two different artists and both times they were amazing !

We came to Dog Nuts for my first in shop tattoo and really enjoyed myself! The energy was amazing! Prices were affordable and Chriss stories were so freakin hilarious, which made it a great experience! Will definitely be returning for all my ink therapy!

My mother died very recently in her sleep. She and I were super close. I’m devastated. My mom was sick a lot and every time she had to get a procedure done she had to remove all of her jewelry. So she got this tattoo so she still felt like herself. My tattoo is the same one she got and in the same place. This is the first tattoo I’ve ever had. Dawn was so kind and patients with me! This tattoo is a tribute to my late Mother. It’s gorgeous and I know my mom would like it. 💯 I’ll go back if I find another tattoo that would have special meaning too! Thank you Dawn!

If youre looking for quality work, I highly recommend this place. Chris just did a geometrical flower tattoo on my forearm tying it in perfectly with my half sleeve. It looks amazing and I look forward forward to having him do more work in the future. He was very professional while also making me feel at ease and comfortable

Chris was amazing! We came in a group of 20 to get matching tattoos in memory of a loved one. The shop was SO busy and Chris was professional and got us out quickly.

COME HERE! I can not recommend another shop. My boyfriend and I went in to get quite large pieces, and this is by far the best experience the BOTH of us has ever had in a shop or even with a tattoo! The atmosphere is welcoming, calm and just such a vibe! wack is easy to talk to and makes you very comfortable. And his art work/tattooing is great! He is definitely very talented! We enjoyed our time, and will no longer be going anywhere for our tattoo work we get done! This is the place to go!

Got tattoo done by chis yeah he a friendly guy he did my tattoo then I made another date to get it shaded in got canceled on for family problems and made another date came to that date I showed up no one was at shop so I waited 2 hours nothing no response finally had to show up few day later them finally got my tattoo 80% shades so had made another date then date came I get called had to cancel said he having more problems that Ill get a call to reschedule I got nothing yet and my tattoo still not finished. 2 months later Wish I got a call or something if it was money I would have paid more but its just disappointing

Rude staff . Owner is so rude & he over priced. Couldn’t even get a tattoo done because that one that I wanted on my neck they told me NO. As soon as I told the guy what I wanted he was already having an attitude saying no he’s not doing that.
