Our daughter (6.75) wanted her ears pierced and we were so careful to select a reputable business. Our friend highly recommended Straight to the point and we are soo thankful to find them. Emily, was beyond professional, very thoughtful. As a medical professional I am here for the sterile process and proper documentation.The environment is low stimulating, peaceful, calm and beautiful. The display cases are gorgeous and well kept.Our daughter was delighted to see the earrings, felt comfortable reviewing all the steps to her experience.No Claire’s, Icing experience here- this is it. I highly recommend and trust in their guidance and education. We have a one month follow up and we’re provided thorough post care instructions.My daughter walked away feeling minimal pain (a small pinch) and pure joy! She was delighted with her experience. It doesn’t get any better than this!Earring choice: my daughter is a swimmer so we choose a beautiful yg bezel lavender opal. It’s perfect! I’m obsessed.

Went in about a week ago and got some new plugs for my ears. I was super excited for them but they didnt fit, so I called and they were SO helpful! They not only fixed the situation (which they rectified well), but they also gave me great recommendations for beaches to visit. Very warm, inviting, and clean space. Great selection and very nice staff! 1000% recommend. I will be coming back for more jewelry (and piercings) in the future

15/10 great place. Super professional and cool to talk with as well as patient and helpful. First time ear stretching went off great and like a breeze. Jewelry selection is amazing and very reasonable priced. The cleanliness is immaculate and the way theyre willing to go in depth and help make the process so easy and stress free was insane. The staff are awesome. Emily was our piercer and did my minor, daughters nose. Easy, expertly done, and its holding up well, with no issues or infections. It looks lovely. Emily is also personable, chatty, and friendly, which we appreciated as it helped to calm our nerves beforehand. She was also thorough and took all precautions to make sure everything was clean. The appointment time was good to have because the store wasnt crowded. There are no walk-ins, so be sure to phone ahead. The entire process was simple. I would come back again if there was a need to make a new hole.

Jenny is such a wonderful piercer 😊 Super friendly, patient, and made me feel comfortable every step of the process. Eased any anxieties I had. Ive gotten 6 piercings done here and I wouldnt want to go anywhere else. Easy to make same day/week appointments, and their prices are absolutely worth it in my opinion. So amazing! Everyone was so nice. I had to pop in to get my captive bead lip ring tension adjusted because the bead kept falling out while I was at work. I was so relieved that they were even open. Short walk from my work ( Darcelle XV) was in and out. Definitely going to come here for my next piercing

Drove in from out of town and scheduled an appt same day for myself and my son (11 y/o). My son got his first love piercing done and is typically pretty anxious. The owner (I’m forgetting their name but they were lovely) was incredibly patient with my son as he contemplated the potential pain. He ultimately went through with the piercing and they look SO cute. I got my double forward helix done and the owner provided suggestions on the jewelry/placement! The shop is so cute and there’s a convenient parking lot right across the street. 10/10 recommend this shop!! My son and I made a super sweet memory together ❤️

13 years ago I got 2 dermals placed in my hip. Great experience then. Fast forward to 3 days ago, they had been getting infected to the point where I decided to take them out. I knew I had pics from when I got them done but when I stopped by they didnt even ask to see it. Emily was amazing! She had em out and me on my way in about 5 min!! Im glad theyre surviving the hellscape that is downtown PDX!

First time to this shop & I loved it. It was so calm & relaxing.I got my ear cartridge pierced for an earring my daughter gave me on Mother’s Day. I know I will return in the future. Highly recommended.

I had my 7 year old daughters ears pierced by Emily and the experience was magical. There was so much patience, care and positivity during every step I decided to make an appointment for myself and my other two friends to come in and get pierced by Emily. Micah was there both times and extremely helpful and kind. We just set a 3rd appointment for another day and I could not recommend this business enough. Best people ever.

I had such an incredible experience getting my septum pierced. I was so nervous, the staff made me feel very comfortable. The shop is very clean with good hygiene. Staff are very informative. There is also a wide selection of jewelry. Highly recommend 🫶🏼✨

I initially called because I wanted to get my septum piercing redone. Emily answered the phone and she was very informative and polite. She was able to get me an appointment at a time that worked well for me. She was very thorough with explaining the process. When it came down to it she was able to find my old piercing hole! They have a decent size selection for piercing jewelry so you’re not stuck with the traditional stainless steel. I love the rose gold options that Emily showed me.

I got my bridge and a medusa on the same day here they are healing amazing. They look amazing. The jewelry options they have are gorgeous. If I get any more piercings, I won’t go anywhere else.

I got my eyebrow pierced yesterday and had an amazing experience. I called just a few hours before and they were able to schedule me for an open time that same day. I have been wanting this piercing for years and am so glad I found this shop. I felt safe and informed throughout the whole process and hope to come back for future piercings. They gave me aftercare instructions and spray and answered all my questions. Definitely recommend!

The place is safe, clean, and welcoming. The staff was exceptional! Jen walked my daughter through everything and was super calming. The days of getting ears pierced in the mall with a creepy piecing gun are over, and it was nice to have actual professionals do it. I even got mine redone since they never healed right from that damn creepy gun decades ago.

I had an amazing experience at straight to the point! I made an appointment for my friend and I to get our vertical labrets/ear lobes done and it was a seamless process. It took only a few minutes to set up my appointment, and when I called back to ask follow up questions they were so sweet to me, and helped me understand what to expect during/after my piercing.When it was show time, Jenny was extremely patient with me, and helped me pick out the perfect piercing placement for my facial symmetry (or lack thereof lol). They were also very kind when I went a little pale after the first piercing and offered me cold rags, water, juice, etc.Theyre also very up front about the healing process, and were honest when they said one of my previous piercings needed more time before I could downsize. They even made some minor adjustments so I could have the jewelry I wanted. I couldnt ask for a better experience.Just please make an appointment! My piercing set up took a lot longer than my friends earlobes did, and its important you have enough time with your piercer so they can get your piercing placement correct.I cant thank the staff enough, and if I get another piercing I am definitely coming back here!

Absolutely fabulous experience. They were referred by a friend of mine and didn’t disappoint.I had my nostril pierced and they were thoughtful and patient in answering all my questions and calming during the entire experience. I was SO nervous but they took things at my pace and didn’t rush me. When I left, I had all the information I needed to take care of my piercing, and also a bottle of saline cleaning solution.I highly recommend them. Jenny and Emily are wonderful. Can’t wait to come back again.

I cant recommend this studio enough. Jenny is the best. She is so knowledgable. My daughter had a unique piercing situation due to an old injury, and Jenny made sure all our questions and concerns were addressed. She has a very gentle touch and my daughter barely felt the procedure and was surprised to hear when it was done. The studio is immaculate. The pieces of jewelry to browse are artful and eye catching. My appointment was at 12:15 and Jenny was on time and ready for us.

This place was great! The person who did the piercing for my daughter was great. Talked her through each step. Helped her pick jewelry. It was greatThe surrounding area isnt great anymore. Post pandemic the doors aare locked with no handles and the windows are boarded. I hope they are able to stay in business because they were great.

Truly a superb experience from start to finish. I got a nostril piercing and my daughter had her first piercings ever. I usually don’t do reviews but want to make sure STTP gets credit for treating us like important humans. I know it seems trite but this really made the whole encounter far superior to my experiences in piercing/tattoo shops in the past. I could rave about every other aspect of the visit to STTP but will stick with what was most important to me that day -- being treated with respect and kindness. Thank you!

I just got my septum pierced here yesterday and had a fantastic experience! Emily was my piercer and she was very warm & welcoming, she helped distract me during the piercing by asking me questions about myself. Before I got my piercing done I looked through the options they had (there were a lot, which was another bonus) and she was happy to give me pricing and info for the ones I was debating between. Another piercer, Jenni, was assisting two girls while I was in and she seemed just as sweet and thorough with them as Emily was with me. Overall, the staff made my septum piercing a breeze and I’m so happy with it!

I got my second pair of piercings for my lobes and my first helix pierced here. They were very patient and accommodating with all my questions and concerns, and were able to get me in quickly for my piercings. The whole process was smooth and easy, and my ears have been healing well! So much better than my first piercings with Claire’s. Would definitely recommend them.

Literally the best and most comfortable experience i’ve ever had at a piercing place. they make you feel so welcome and are hilarious and kind people, not to mention SO experienced and great at what they do. they are slightly more expensive but the least painful and best healing and best placed piercings i’ve ever had. seriously so so so worth it i recommend them to everyone who asks about my medusa. i’ve had some bad experiences and have a lot of anxiety, and they are so patient with me, answer all of my questions thoroughly and let me come in numerous times for free check-ins or bar length changes, i’m so lucky to have found them!!

I highly recommend Straight to the Point! My daughter was wanting to get her ears pierced, and after calling they were able to squeeze us in for an appointment the very next day. The person at the front desk was very friendly, informative, and professional. Also, Jenni did the piercing, and she was very friendly and skilled as well. Everything was very sanitary and my daughters ears are healing perfectly. Not only this, the service was offered for a reasonable price. This place is definitely worth it!

The ear piercings were actually really painful (don’t believe all the reviews that say painless..), depends on the location/cartilage etc. jewelry was very expensive (I tipped on the price of the jewelry so whoever did my piercing got a hefty tip for just simple piercings). Also the piercing i was given was much longer than it needed to be (to account for swelling), but even during the healing process it kept getting snagged on things because it was too long. had to return to shorten the piercing, and was charged for that piercing change as well. should’ve been free.

We went for some piercings, and I will say I loved the piercers style! She made it comfortable and answered all or questions. Also, the shops mascot helps reduce any anxiety.

Been here a couple times, always professional and easy to work with.Their prices are higher than some chains that will do piercings for cheaper, but the price is more than worth the cost. They take their time, triple check everything, and do a great job on piercings that need to be symmetrical.On one occasion our 11 yr old got her lobes pierced and was very nervous. Not only did they put her at ease and do an amazing piercing, but they provided great after care instructions along with included saline spray.

I cant rave enough about my experience at Straight to the Point. I havent had a piercing done since I was 18... but when better to get new piercings than in the midst of a pandemic? The whole process was smooth and easy. Great customer service, friendly atmosphere, gorgeous jewelry selection, and Emily was fast and great to work with. I had two done - nostril and helix - and it was so much easier (and less painful!) than I imagined. I cant wait to go back!

Went to get two nose piercings, one for me and a friend, and the whole experience was great! I specifically came to this location based off of the reviews and I am glad that I did. I called back for assistance for after care instructions and they were more than happy to assist. When we showed up they were more than happy to answer all the questions that we had as well as make sure that we were comfortable throughout the experience.

When my niece and I were looking for a place to get our noses pierced, we were pleased to find Straight to the Point had availability the next day. I came here due to the great reviews on Yelp about the customer service and variety of unique jewelry. And my experience here did not disappoint!This place is specialized for piercings only.When you walk in, youll automatically see that there are A LOT of earrings to choose - from common body piercings to unique gauges.Youll also notice the room in which the piercing is done is in a glass room on the side of the shop.I wanted to get my nostril re-pierced. Im sorry I forgot the apprentices name who helped me choose a nose stud. He was welcoming and friendly. After I chose the stud I liked, he told me it would take a few minutes to sterilize it.While I was waiting, I saw the piercing guy wiping down the chair inside the glass room in which the piercing takes place. This was confirmation that this place takes cleanliness seriously.I had the pleasure of having David pierce my nose. He took the time to mark and re-mark the piercing site to my liking. He had a soothing voice and was so nice. Although I already knew how the process, I appreciated that he explained everything he was doing and how to take care of it. He even gave me a paper pamphlet on how to care for piercings.I had a wonderful experience here and I recommend anyone who is looking to have a pricing done to come here.

By far one of my best piercing experiences to date! Super clean shop, and staff is so welcoming and friendly! I had questions, and also have a hard time making choices (when given too many options) and they were super patient! David did an awesome job explaining the process, and he took his time marking me to ensure the placement was perfect. And it is! I love my new piercings more than I even thought I would! He made it quick, precise and relatively painless. I recd 2 anchor dermal piercings (one at each collarbone) so theres inevitably going to be a little bit of pain... but really, he was awesome and before I knew it, we were done! I was so impressed with Straight to the Point. My daughter wanted her nose pierced and her research led us here...and I am so glad. From our initial phone calls to gather info all the way to the explanation of aftercare, this experience was perfect. David did our piercings (I decided to do my nose, too) and he was calm, kind, and down to earth. We felt well-informed, cared for, and the piercing process itself was very smooth and easy. This shop is *impeccably* clean, followed all Covid preventative measures, and the care taken in sterilizing jewelry and surfaces was obvious. Scheduled an appointment via phone easily to get a piercing on my upper lobe. Everything was extremely sanitary in terms of both covid prevention and piercing care. David assisted me throughout the entire process and was very friendly and fun to talk with. I was pleased with the wide variety of jewelry choices I had to choose from. Absolutely amazing!!I had such a positive experience when I came here to get my septum pierced. I was greeted with upbeat and happy staff member, she walked me through the process and answered my millions of questions with out a beat. She made me feel very comfortable in getting pierced by them. I wasn’t rushed in the slightest, which was super nice.The piercer, I’m forgetting her name but will update when I remember, was so calm and professional. I don’t like needles but love piercings, and she did an amazing job at helping keep me calm(er). She went above and beyond (both of them did honestly). I left with a well placed piercing and I’m super happy with the way it came out! This place was great! They have strict COVID protocol, which I appreciate greatly. You call to make an appointment. When you arrive you call and they let you in when theyre ready for you. There are only two customers in at a time, one being pierced at a time. A lot of cleaning and masks worn by staff the entire time. Beautiful selection of jewelry! Super kind and friendly staff! I highly recommend and will be going here for any jewelry needs. I got my septum pierced, it cost $80 which included the jewelry and the cleaning spray.

This is the only piercing shop I trust. Everyone who works there is extremely skilled and knowledgeable, and theyre also genuinely friendly. They will remember you no matter how sporadic your visits may be. Theyre a little on the pricey side, but piercings are something you should never cheap out on. They have good materials and a very large selection with multiple styles of jewelry. Want a great piercing with minimal issues and risk? Go to Straight To The Point, you will not regret it.

I got my septum pierced here a few days ago and everyone was amazingly helpful throughout the whole process! Ive gotten ear piercings before but this was my first face piercing which, naturally, came with some anxieties. Everyone there was so nice and considerate and helped a ton after my appointment as well while I got lightheaded (which happens everytime I get pierced)! I would seriously recommend anyone going here for piercing needs. The only downside I may see is the fact that most of the jewelry there was related to gauging and there was only a small amount of simple studs to check out.

I had a bad flare up of my piercing while I was visiting Portland from another country. They were nice enough to fit me in on a last minute basis and switched out my piercing for a longer bar. This fixed the flare up immediately and they clearly knew how to assess piercings very well.I was also grateful for how helpful they were even though I had no relationships with the piercing salon previously and I was pierced in a different country. They were very reasonable with the pricing too and tried to change my backing only, with a fair warning that Id have to purchase a new one only if it didnt match. It thankfully worked and it was very cheap for the backing + the services. Very professional and kind, Id recommend to anyone.

I have a science background and am very picky about sterile technique.. STTP managed everything flawlessly to ensure my safety. They provided excellent aftercare information which as been very helpful. I have really sensitive skin (have had to let previous piercings close due to irritation). Im 2 weeks out now and my skin is doing great! Staff was incredibly kind and fun to chat with as well making the overall experience really fun

David was awesome! I called today to schedule an appointment and left a voicemail. He called me back immediately and was able to schedule me within just a couple hours. He helped out with getting a new backing for my tragus piercing, and he was able to get my nipple piercings back in after they closed up after an MRI yesterday. He was thorough with aftercare and healing expectations as well as downsizing options in the future. Thanks again!

The service was great and I was really excited for my industrial piercing that Ive been wanting for awhile. But in the moment when she asked if I liked it, I couldnt see then but it was pierced to close to edge of my ear. I tried to just take care of it and hope that it would heal properly. Last night the skin ripped and now I have no piercing and a ripped ear.

David is a fantastic, professional piercer! My friends surprised me with an appointment for my birthday, and I was excited but very nervous to get my nose pierced. He was so great at not only talking me through every motion so I felt comfortable, but he also made small talk and was asking me questions which took my mind off of my nerves. He was so reassuring and encouraging through the entire process. I truly cannot say enough great things! I can’t wait to return in a few months to purchase some more of their beautiful jewelry, and will absolutely come back to David the next time I need something pierced! 10/10 would recommend!

I called to leave a message to make an appointment and was then called back quickly in the same day. They are being very careful in following COVID procedures, and I never felt uneasy. My piercer was David he was awesome! He explained every step of the process and continued to make sure I was comfortable. They workers here are super nice! I came here after getting my wisdom teeth out the same day, and they were able to help me get my lip ring back in. They also put my lip ring in for free; I just brought it with me. I’ll definitely be coming back here to buy more jewelry in the future.

Had difficulty finding a shop that would do the piercing I wanted, this shop was recommended by a friend and it was fantastic. They are super clean and professional. They have loads of jewelry and the staff is wonderful. Emily did my dermal on my clavicle and I couldn’t be happier with the experience.

Emily and Micah are THE best!!I had my conch pierced while out of state on vacation and since returning to Portland have had non-stop issues with the piercing- Emily has walked me through the entire healing process and swapped the jewelry so that the piercing could heal better. My only regret is not getting it pierced at straight to the point to begin with! Theyve also been incredibly conscious during the pandemic- doing appointments and cleaning between each guest. Thanks to them Ill be able to keep my conch piercing. I cannot recommend this place enough!

I have referred this place many times. My daughter and I frequented this location for many years and my friends have gone here as well. I love the concept of specializing and having a location which has so much jewelry and extremely competent designers. I also really like the fact that they can customize jewelry and that they use vinyl tubing for some of their piercing locations. I highly recommend them and hope they are doing well during the pandemic.

Honestly I was nervous at first because I had never been to this place to get pierced, but I’m so glad David took great care of me! He was quick and informative, definitely recommend this place. He pierced my nose for me and again was quick with it! (Many of my friends recommended this place to me as well)

I got a call from my doctor that I needed to go in for an MRI the next morning, early. Which meant that I really had to hustle so I could find a place to help me remove some of my piercings (some of them are pretty old and quite tight/stuck). I called around several places, as Straight to the Point was the only place that was willing to help me, even despite the late hour and the last minute nature of the request.I live in Tigard, so I drove downtown and they let me in 15 minutes prior to closing so that I could get things taken out. Everyone was very nice, personable, easy to chat with while I waited, and they make you feel comfortable and cared for. They didnt charge me for help to get the piercings removed, and man, I really love them for the help. It seems like a small thing, but they helped remove a source of stress in an already stressful time, and that really means an awful lot.Theyre lovely people. A special thanks to Emily and David for their help. My failing old persons memory didnt get the counter persons name. Micah? Mikah? Had beautiful green hair. Was also wonderful and helpful and lovely. Im just bad with names. Thank you! Ill be back for a new piercing once the MRI madness is over.

We took my daughter here for her her first ear peircing for her 8th birthday. The owner was amazing with her, She kept her engaged and was very patient answering all of her questions in a way kind kid friendly way. It was a great experience. Her step mom and I also got our second ear peircing holes same day and it was a smooth, clean, quick process. Very professional environment as well.

Ive been contemplating getting my nose pierced for 7 years now and finally decided to take the plunge yesterday! I walked on with my friend and was instantly greeted. The gal working in the front (I did not catch her name) was very kind and nice to chat with.David is the one who did my piercing and was great! He was very thorough in explaining how it would be done, how to clean the piercing, etc. David also took the time to mark the placement of the piercing a few times, to ensure it was in the best location.I felt very welcomed and taken care of here. Would definitly come back if I decide to get another piercing!

Such a great shop! It was my first time getting my lobes pierced and i went for 4. My piercer was incredibly helpful throughout the process and she did such a good job piercing that i genuinely have no pain after the piercing. i honestly forgot i even got pierced this morning when i woke up bc my ears feel completely fine :) highly recommend

Went to get my belly button repierced and they ended up tapering it instead which was completely painless and they were incredibly friendly and patient with me and my friend. Amazing selection for jewelry and very clean. If i get any more piercings before i move it will definitely be here

The best place to go for any of your piercing needs. Quality jewelery and professional piercers. On top of being knowledgeable, they are incredibly helpful with anything you ask:I called them and then went in before an MRI and they wrote everything down for me in regards to the metal my dermal was made of (I didnt have to take it out) because I was nervous. They also offered to remove and put back in, if it was necessary for a medical procedure, free of charge!!When I recently inquired about switching out the top piece of my dermal, and they didnt have the piece on hand themselves, they offered to help me find where I could order it from myself, and then will still switch it out for me, once I get the jewelry!Just FYI, Ive had this floating necklace dermal done by them for over ten years now, and have never had an issue with it.5 star customer service!

I usually don’t write reviews bc it’s too much work but this place deserves one. this is by far the best piercing place i’ve ever been to and probably will ever go to. the people were super helpful and sweet and answered all my questions thoroughly. it was super cheap but great quality, my piercer (i think his name is david?) did an amazing job it was super quick and honestly pretty painless for a helix. i felt welcomed and the staff treated me super well. everything felt clean and good quality. pls if you are deciding where to go to get a piercing please go here you’ll have the best experience out of anywhere.

I turned 13 a couple of days ago, and i got to get my ears pierced as a present, David did my ear piercing and he was amazing. It was not that exspensive and he was vary communicative. He was quick and VERY accurate. It prob took 10 min to make the dots, and so many of my friends have let their holes close up because of off centered piercings. IF YOU WANT TO LOOK GREAT GO THEIR, PORTLAND IS SKETCHY BUT THE DRIVE IS WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Extremely clean piercing and jewelry spot, an amazing amount of variety all displayed in neat cases! Piercers were thorough with process and aftercare instructions and participated in easy going conversation the entire visit. Very very helpful, i got my first non-lobe piercings here just a couple days ago (nostril and helix) and David was incredibly helpful and explained the process very well without talking down to me. i was nervous walking in with no piercings besides what most people have and that was quickly subdued as soon as i started talking to them. he placed my nostril piercing perfectly and helped me pick the best jewelery for each. i will definitely come back here for any future piercings or jewelry i want. fantastic experience overall.

After waiting a long time for them to answer the phone, while standing at their front door in the rain, whoever answered the phone said they were booked for the night and couldnt get us in. Yes, we failed to mention we were standing outside. We looked through the door while on the phone, clearly they werent booked.We asked the price for a simple nose piercing, at the price they wanted my wife and I could have gotten 3 piercings each at Paramount on stark.. I understand being downtown comes with some overhead, but dang.. hope this review helps.

Ive been thinking of a new piercing, so I stopped in for advice. The staff was extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and patient with my laundry list of questions.I explained that I love my cartilage piercing, but Im not happy its invisible and it hides in the fold of my ear. He explained my jewelry options, and I bought a ring to switch things up. Now I LOVE my new earring!I live out of town but ill be returning after the summer swimming months to get my next piercing.

These gals are amazing!!I was in the shop last summer, and Jenni was so patient, helpful and honest.I have experience in retail and with the public and Im what I would describe as one of those. Lol!! I have never been to a place that has such beautiful pieces for stretched ears. Not an easy task to find something soft and feminine, but the kill it.I bought a bunch of jewelry in the summer, and loved them so much, that I went searching online for them, so that I could shop for more earrings. They dont have a shop online option, but... they took photos of what was in their cases, so I could see what they have!! Can you imagine?!?! AMAZING!! My 9 year old daughter got her ears pierced here last weekend. They were wonderful! Clean welcoming environment; the piercer was comfortable with children (some places wont do childrens ears); she calmed my daughters nerves with an honest run down of exactly what to expect, and was quick and efficient with getting to the second ear before any anxiety built up. I would absolutely come back here for any future piercing needs.

I was traveling in the area and noticed one of the balls on my septum fell off, I called them to see if I could get an appointment as soon as possible. they were able to squeeze me in and i was able to go 15 mins after calling. the environment was clean and aesthetically pleasing, very pleased!

Got my noise pierced here twice. The first time I brought my girlfriend. They are super “family” friendly and the prices are reasonable. I will continue to send friends and family there. Cons: Since it’s downtown, it’s hard to find parking. Also, the second time I was harassed outside of the shop by a homeless man because I didn’t give him any money.

This place was recommended by my spouse who had a piercing done years ago by them. Jenni was my piercer and I could not be more happy with their work and the way they talked me through the process. This was not my first piercing but I was my first here and I would definitely recommend them. I will be coming here for the rest of my piercing needs!

I went with several friends to get piercings here 10+ years ago and I have never had an issue with my piercing (vertical labret). They are so helpful with when my hardware needs a change-up! The only place I recommend for piercing in Portland!

Went in to get my septum repierced and to get a few other body piercings. Jenni was able to get my septum done without having to repierce it even after how long it had been out, and walked me through getting my body piercings done and was super nice and knowledgeable. Her and the staff at Sttp are the nicest most knowledgeable piercers Ive ever met, and Im going to be getting all my future piercings done with them!

They gave me my first lip piercing! When that was healing badly, I went in and they quickly gave me a larger ring for my lip to heal with free of charge! Not only did I get a new ring that helped my lip, but I gained a lot of knowledge just from chatting with these folks. Months later, I wanted to get a post instead of my lip ring and they worked with me to find out exactly which length post I needed and what size top I was most comfortable wearing. This morning, I broke my entire stud with my teeth while eating an apple; they happily replaced it at a reasonable cost and they are going to replace my post (they didnt have the correct size in stock today) with the smaller length FREE OF CHARGE this weekend! These people (Ive been to the Hillsboro location and dealt with 3-4 people) are incredible! I really enjoy their atmosphere, professionalism, and willingness to work with people who dont know much about body modification.

Windows boarded up, no bathroom available for clients to use. When you are spending a decent amount of money to have some work done, it would be nice for the client to be able to use a restroom, as opposed to being told to walk to killer burger. This is a place that wants to be high end, but isnt capable of doing so.

Came here to get a facial dermal removed. Covid precautions were taken to an impressing degree. I had a high amount of anxiety regarding the pain and method of removal. David was very knowledgeable and had a calming bedside manner. Couldnt rate the experience high enough. Highly recommend.

I visited Straight to the Point a few years ago and havent returned since. I needed an immediate jewelry change to accommodate the swelling from a fresh piercing from another shop. STTP was a convenient stop downtown, so, I thought why not? Big mistake for me.The guy helping me took the barbell straight out of the baggie with ungloved hands (the baggie being a literal ziplock-type bag, not the sealed kind like when the jewelry is fresh from the autoclave). He finally put on gloves once I got in the chair, but I didnt see him clean the jewelry before putting it in my ear. Literally quick and dirty. I didnt dare leave a tip.Thank god my piercing didnt get infected, but that experience kept me from returning. If I could rate this place a negative amount of stars, I would. Disgusting.

I got my lower back dermals done a few years back at this place. She drew 2 dots on my back to see if thas where i wanted them pierced. I looked at my back in the mirror thinking since looking back at the mirror it causes me to slightly twist my back i thought maybe the angle make looking back is causeing the 2 dots look not straight. I asked her if it looks straight from where i stand from her point of view and she said yes, considering she is suppose to be a professional pericer. I got them pierced everyone that saw them said they looked uneven. I came back and she pulled one out. Getting it periced wasnt that painfull but getting they pulled it out was. They litterly pull pull pull and keep yanking until the dermal is finally dislodged from my lower back, this was the longest and painfull 5 min process i ever had. She told me to come back in a few days to get it repeirced and evidentially a few days was not enough healing time so my body decided to reject the dermal and this is the second time to get it periced again. I trusted this place because they said all work is suppose to be GAREENTEED. my black is ugly now 3 years later and i never came back to fix that pericing. I went to a medical dr last summer to get it surgically removed so i could be numb and have an actual professional take care of me.

The jewelry prices were fair, it felt very covid safe and the piercer made me feel very comfortable when changing out my jewelry. will be coming back for future piercing/jewelry needs!

Helped me get a lip piercing. The guy helping me was lovely, and made sure it was lined up just right. I get light headed with this sort of thing, and he handled it super kindly. The jewelry selection was a little sparse but thats what the internet was invented for. If I need anything else done Ill be sure to go back.

The first time I visited this place to get a piercing I would of given 5 stars but last week I called and made an appointment and was told he could get me in. When I arrived, paid for parking right in front of the place two people walked up and went in right before me. After they were helped, I was asked how I could me helped and I said Id just called, had an appointment. I was told it would be after the two that came before me. I said this is why I made an appointment but he said we dont make appointments and the first two people are before you. I left and will not be back.
