I spent a lot of time looking into the best place to get my daughters ears pierced, I got many recommendations for TLC after getting off the phone and reading all the reviews I brought my daughter in today. She had an amazing experience. The lady that did her ears took her time to make sure my daughter was comfortable and made sure to communicate every step of the way what she was doing. She gave a lot of good detail when showing how to properly care for the new piercing. And even sent my daughter off on her way with a donut and a cool new ring. My daughter was comfortable every step of the way and when we left she said that didnt really hurt at all if your looking for somewhere to get yours or your childs ears pierced this is the place to go 100%

This place was amazing for both of my kids getting their ears pierced. The piercer was patient and comforting to my 4 year old and 10 year old through the whole process. They have cute plushies you can hold with piercings themselves and at the end they got a donut. I loved how knowledgeable Timma was on healing and using natural remedies for healing. The shop is querky and fun. It was an unforgettable experience.

We had the best experience piercing our 7-month old daughters ears with Timma at TLCS. In fact, our daughter barely noticed that her ears got pierced. Timma is highly skilled and lovely. We are very grateful and highly recommend her shop.

Thank goodness I found TLC for my daughter’s ear piercing. The technician was really skilled and soothing to my child, talking her through the process and putting “magic” on her ears to numb them before and after. Excellent after care instructions. My girl is all healed and we’re going back today for her first pair of earrings!

The experience was fantastic with both my girls! My oldest (3) barely even cried. My youngest (2) cries about everything and did get VERY upset during the process (but once you get one done, you kind of have to do the other). Timma was able to complete the piercing successfully even with a screaming, squirming toddler. Shortly after leaving both girls were completely calm and we were sent home with great, detailed instructions and cleaning products (tea). Would HIGHLY recommend!

Very very patient. My neurospicy kiddo only got one ear pierced bc she had a panic attack, but the piercer was very understanding and offered to do the second at a different time. I appreciate the time she allowed us to try to convince my daughter to follow through with the second. Even though it ended up not happening.♡

I Can not say how great our experience was. My almost 8 year old hats shots and needles but really really wanted his ear pierced. Timma was nothing less than ABSOLUTELY amazing with him. I even got my self a piercing while there. She was PHENOMENAL. I 100% recommend taking your kiddos to see Timma at TLC. He was nervous and she talked him through it. He was scared and she gave him a pause and kept talking him through it. And when he was done i could see the pride and confidence he held at facing his fears. They use all natural methods and products. It’s super quirky and cute. My daughter had her ears pierced here twice. (In different spots). Cannot say enough good things about the follow up care and over all experience.

My 4yo was put at ease so well that she didn’t even cry. It was all over with in an instant and I appreciated the piercer’s natural approach to the healing process. Timma is the *only* piercer I go to. She is literally the BEST piercer. Her primary experience is with kids, but I HIGHLY recommend her for adults as well!! She is both incredibly professional and knowledgeable. She explains everything beforehand and sets you up with amazing aftercare instructions. I am personally very nervous around needles, and she did a fantastic job of calming my fears!! If you use her jewelry and follow her instructions, I guarantee that your piercing will heal up fast and amazingly. If youre looking for a good piercer, look no further, because you have found her.

Had a good experience at TLC! I refuse to have my child’s ears pierced with a gun, I only believe in hollow-point needles for ANY piercing which is what TLC uses. She was very cleanly and was super informative! I think they charge a fair price. I don’t ever really go to Portland, I live minimum of an hour away, and it was well worth the drive - I’m very impressed!

After seeing videos of piercing guns getting stuck at mall piercing kiosks i knew i did not want to go that route. Luckily i heard about TLC and lets just say she was so knowledgeable about piercings and was very thorough with explanations about the process, healing, and recommended treatments with our 4 month old. Love the holistic approach too, cleaning with chamomile as we like using medications as a last resort. She was even comforting to older brothers who were nervous to see baby sister getting her ears pierced. 10/10 recommend.

Timma was just amazing with our almost 8 yr old, who really wanted her ears pierced but really hates shots and things of that nature. Couldn’t be happier with our experience.Just give her a call, no website at this time. Her pricing was some of the most reasonable I found looking into this, she was amazing with our 8 y.o. but also little sister who came with. The shop itself is very child friendly, she has lots of interesting (appropriate) things to look at and toys for the kids while they are waiting.

Wonderful experience for us! We took our 4 year old daughter in and I was very pleased with the service, the knowledge and comfort we were provided. The Owner is very smart and kept us informed of her process throughout the entire visit - which was very appreciated. Timma was wonderful with our 3 month old. She explained everything to us on what to expect and how our daughter would respond throughout the whole process and she was spot on. She validated our daughter that she knew she was about to get her ears pierced and her emotions were valid and crying was okay. Ive never seen a professional treat a baby with so much respect but it was really refreshing because I too believe babies are smarter than we give them credit. She worked with our baby on her terms with marking her ears and talking about her high and low ear and making sure the holes would be even based on her face and height and not just in the same place on both ears. They came out perfect and straight and are beautiful. She has us healing with chamomile tea bag soaks and just like she said, no crusting and no pain. She offers a free 6 week follow up where shell change the jewlery too. You can purchase from her ($21) or bring your own. The ear piercing itself with jewlery and all was only $75 which is extremely reasonable. Bring your babies and kids to her. Itll be a great traumatic free experience and done right with proper after care.

What a rad amazing woman Timma is!!!My daughter wanted to get her ears pierced and we got a referral from another friend who came into the studio. Everything was clean and nice. She was very knowledgeable. Explained the whole process to my daughter and to me. The kids get to hold a stuffy and she offered donuts after the appointment. She shared so many other golden nuggets of knowledge that were not piercing related but along the lines of health and wellness. She is a well of knowledge!We had a few rescheduling issues because of the icy weather we had (all via text which was great and convenient) and because we scheduled around the holidays. But she communicated effectively and efficiently and we finally made our way in.I absolutely love that she recommends healing with camomile tea bags and she explains the whole philosophy behind it. So far so good with healing. She also uses the best metal for low reaction and it’s all made in USA.Timma is a gem! I highly recommend this place!

Service was great. I was skeptical about using just chamomile at first but I followed her instructions and it works. My baby had no infection or issues. She knows what she is doing. The only thing is the smoke shop is in the same place and I decided to wait a little outside since I was there early. I didnt want my daughter smelling that. She is always on time though, both piercing and 6 weeks check up. You might just want to show up on time and not come early and wait if you want to avoid the smell of the vape/smoke items. I will give 5 starts though because her service was wonderful and she was wonderful.

Best experience ever. Would recommend to anyone that has an infant or child. I took my 5 month old in to get her ears pierced and the lady did such a great job. She was very precise and patient even when my daughter moved around. Also she was very clean,organized, and thorough while giving instructions on how to care for my daughters ears. The earrings are also great and hypoallergenic. She knew exactly what she was doing and made it a great experience. It was very affordable, convenient and worth it! This place is the best around. The pricing is extremely reasonable. A piercing is permanent, so you need to do it right. She has high quality metals, is very clean, and does a perfect job. Piercing guns and bad metals like from most other places cause so many issues. Most other places don’t even care enough to make the permanent hole centered. I highly recommend you come here.

Great spot for ear piercing!! I took my 8 year old daughter to someone who was supposed to be “the best in Portland”. He was horrible and to top it off, we left with my daughter only having one ear pierced, and she was totally traumatized.I called TLC for advice, and the owner came in when she wasn’t even open to help us fix it. She explained everything to my daughter, and was so great with her. So patient, kind, attentive, and sensitive. She put my daughter totally at ease. It turned out we had to let her piercing heal because it was crooked, so she took it out for us and we made an appointment for a week later to come back and have her ears pierced. She didn’t even charge me.We came back the following week and even though my daughter was very nervous, the owner was again so kind and patient, explaining everything along the way, and made her very comfortable. Piercing was quick and easy, and my daughter was so happy! I would highly recommend.

Id like more selection of piercings and earrings, but I got a great eyebrow piercing that I LOVE, they are knowledgeable, and have great sterile practices. I wanted like a mens pointed earring, and ended up with a round and flat one instead, but they was only like 15, ( both for 25), and I just needed something to get me by for now. So its not a big issue. But they COULD get a few more cool mens earrings. they DO have a good collect of eyebrow and other straight piercings. Better selection for women, but ANY piercings you need, Id go here. Most def.

We brought my almost 9 year old niece here to get her ears pierced. Timma was absolutely wonderful! She talked my niece through the entire process and told her that its OK to be scared/nervous. Timma is the best, passionate and talented! I have gotten three different ear piercings from her, and I love them all. She knows her stuff, gives thorough consultations and aftercare instructions, and provides her clients with the allergy free, high quality jewelry. In addition, I barely feel the needle; the worst pain I have ever been in is equivalent to getting a flu shot in the ear - only a slight and quick prick. Her store is fun to shop at, too. My daughter (6) wanted to get her ears pierced, but I did NOT want to go to the mall to get it done. After reading the reviews, I called and decided to go in. It was amazing! She pierced my daughters ears (shes 10), and my daughter was intrigued and smiling the entire time. I got my 4 year old and 6 month old ears pierced a little over 2 weeks ago. I highly recommend Timma. She was awesome with my worrisome 4 year old. Both my girls ears were only red for Less then an hour. With Timmas cleaning and maintenance instructions we have had no problems. The price was very reasonable. If your thinking about getting your baby or young child ears pierced TLC is the place to go.

Timma was very helpful in fixing a botched cartilage piercing from another piercing studio. She was kind and informative. I am glad I picked her shop. Its been less than an hour and the discomfort from the swelling I had before coming in is gone!

I got my naval pierced here earlier today, I was about 30mins late due to me thinking the appt was at 1:30 (someone else set up the appt for me) and i felt so bad! honestly would have completely understood if she wouldn’t have wanted to pierce me after that, but she still did. One of the coolest people i’ve met. She was straight to the point and was very thorough in making sure I had good placement, which was what I was most nervous about considering I’ve seen other people with my body type have this piercing done wrong. will definitely come again, and hopefully on time this time !

The last time I had my ears pierced, it was the 80s and the only option was the dreaded gun they used at Claires. What a different experience! Timma explained each step and patiently answered all my questions. When the time came to pierce the hole, it was hardly a pinch and it was done. So much better than the 80s. Ill be back and highly recommend.

Last Christmas I got my trieg (middle ear part of lobe) pierced . Timma made it painless, she is a very cool lady! She has also made me 4 awesome vintage lamp shades for my home. I recommend her for all your family members.

Shares space with a Vape Shop - store is cluttered/dusty. But piercing room is sparce and somewhat clean. Was very good with my 10 year old, but I am not confident on the non-doctor recommended after care of using warm chamomile tea to clean. $60 for ear piercing seemed a bit on the expensive side.

Timma has pierced all of my friends and family and myself! She is great with small children and it is fun to visit her shop! She has the only hypoallergenic jewelry I can wear and it is affordably priced!

Timma amazing as well as awesome. A few years a go i went with a friend to see timma for a Piercing. Timma did such an amazing job being soo compassionate and attentive i decided to get my tongue pierced. I have a fear of needles and timma talked to me and calmed my anxiety. she was so quick and smooth that I didnt even feel the needle. I have had two infants get their ears done here. They didnt even notice. My teen had her tragus done and get nothing! She did a great job with differ age groups, sterile, nows her stuff!! Highly recommend

She really knows her craft, and shes dedicated to perfection. First time I got my ears pierced she talked me through everything and was very comforting. Theres not to many places in Oregon or even in the world that have the skill that she has.

Very nice lady that walked us through the entire process and was very patient with my squirmy baby. TIMMA is soo awesome.... i have been getting piercings from her since November 2009...to date i have gotten 6 piercing from her and am VERY HAPPY with her work, she is attentive, explains how she does piercing, how to prevent infection, even takes the time to show you different jewelry, and beads if u dont want the one that comes with the jewelry. and she always helps you with any questions u have.. she even cleans infected piercings that ppl have gotten from other places and came to her for help.SHe goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable. her shop is always clean an sterile. she takes her time unlike other shops.. I dont know who wrote that bad review but anybody that has ever been in Timmas shop knows it is a fake review. She would *never* do any of the things that crazy person accused her of! She is amazing!!

The woman has years of experience piercing and endless knowledge on how a piercing show be performed as well as after care. High quality metals over all an awesome experience definitely going back again.

I got my ear pierced there, the lady, who does it, is a real cool laid back person. Alot of knowledge, she will help you out alot. Really painless, and pretty cheap.
