Fine Lines by Rachel

My husband and I were planning to be in Portland for a church conference and wanted to get a fine line tattoo while we were in town from Texas. I found Rachel and started working with her months in advance and she worked with our travel schedule. She made the whole experience so enjoyable and she’s just a delightful person! Our tattoos are amazing and I’m grateful for the memories made on this trip. She made them extra special! I highly recommend her and if I’m ever back in Portland I’d see her again!

Rachel is a kind, beautiful person and her talent speaks for itself. I took Rachels permanent jewelry class and it was such a great experience! Rachel made the class fun and engaging and the class size was small, so we got a lot of individual instruction. She even lined up two models for each of us to practice our new permanent jewelry skills on!

If you are looking for dainty, fine line tattoos, Fine Lines by Rachel is the place to go! I’m a huge fan of fine line tattoos, but not all tattoo artists can or want to do them, so I’m so happy to have come across Rachel’s Instagram. There was zero judgment around the small and simple tattoos I was looking to get. Great communication throughout the process and she took my examples and created exactly what I was looking for. She also thoroughly talked through how the tattoo would move with my body given the location on my wrist - the two tattoos I got are healing perfectly at almost 2 weeks and I love them and I’m already planning to go back for more. I’m not a fan of needles, but Rachel made me feel at ease and the whole process was quick and easy. Super cute and welcoming studio as well. Overall, the best tattoo experience, thank you!!

LOVED Rachel. She was so friendly, personable and professional. Her tattoo boutique was clean, organized and pristine. I have never been to such a cute little boutique. I got a tiny one-inch word, and she worked with me to get the font just right before I had the appointment, as well as the placement. I cant wait until I can remove the skin tape and show it off. I went to Rachel for my first ever tattoo, and I couldn’t have had a better experience. Her studio is so cute, and so well kept. You can so clearly tell even by just that, that she is so good at what she does.I have wanted this tattoo for around 10 years and have never been able to find an artist that I trusted to do it. Once I found Rachel, I knew that I had found the right one!!About halfway through my tattoo, I began to get a bit anxious and lightheaded/nauseous. As soon as I communicated this with Rachel, she got out a basket full of snacks for me and we decided to put on a podcast for the remainder of the time! I spent a long time following fine line artists in Oregon and Washington, looking for somebody whose style matched what I was looking for and who clearly was a well-established artist with good reviews. Rachel quickly become my favorite, and for good reason! Her style is impeccable and she was willing to work with me to get the sketch exactly the way I envisioned it in my head. Her office is so comfortable and cute, and Rachel is so kind and very good at explaining how everything will go to a first-time tattoo receiver! She did a phenomenal job and Im already dreaming of going back. :)
