Better Tattooing

Rian is the most talented and knowledgable tattoo artist Ive ever had. I literally can never go to another tattoo artist after coming to him. Ive come to him for both new artwork and a cover up and he blew all of them out of the park. Great artist and great conversation. Makes you feel like family here!

Highly recommend! Rian designed and inked a sleeve tattoo with me, and it was a true partnership. After working with several tattoo artists prior to meeting Rian and working with Rian for going on 2 years, I found someone that I trust to listen and act on my feedback and question me when we dont appear aligned. Probably just as important on these larger projects, Rian is real, transparent, and just a really cool dude to spend hours with chatting at the table about anything or comfortably sitting in silence enjoying the process. We started with talking and drawing over the first 6 months - in that time the design changed multiple times for the better - I am much more happy with the final result. Beyond his experience with all sorts of tattoo styles, Rians knowledge of the science behind tattoo application and aftercare makes him extremely capable and flexible to accommodate unique circumstances per person. I had some weird skin issues I I didnt anticipate as I hadnt done color before in my previous tattoos, and we were able to adapt our plan. I have received SO MANY compliments on the tattoo design, line work, color and shading and already have one of my friends working with Rian on another big project.

Wow. What a great experience. I have had Rian do several tattoos for me and I just love them. His communication, attention to detail and knowledge of the art is exceptional. Rian is amazing & so easy to spend hours with while you get tattooed. Hes transparent & I love he works with his clients to get your tattoo exactly how you want. 100% recommend Rian, Im loving my almost finished floral piece.

Rian is awesome to work with! He is a wealth of knowledge and invested on providing a great experience and helping you make an educated decision about where and how you get your ink.Im really picky about line work and he did 2 tattoos for me in February 2022 that look clean and precise which I love.My husband and another friend are both currently work with him to create their visions and both cant say enough great stuff about him either.Looking forward to working with him on bigger projects in the future!

I’ve gotten three tattoos from Rian, and if I ever get another tattoo (let’s be honest, of course I will), that one will be from Rian too. His work is beautiful, and he’s wonderful to work with — super receptive to ideas, and a lot of fun to sit with for a few hours. I receive compliments on his work all the time, and I love my tattoos as much now (a few years later) as I did when I first got them.

Rian is AMAZING! By far the best tattoo artist I’ve ever met. He is one of the most professional, organized, skilled, and knowledgable artists you’ll find. Rian has so much education about the science behind tattooing, he knows how to fix botched tattoos, and he has a fun personality that makes me so excited for my appointments. He puts the customer FIRST. And really makes sure you are 10000% content with his artwork before he tattoos you. He cares so much about what he does and it really shows because his work is incredible.

Best tattoo experience ever! Rian is amazing! Helped design my tattoo so it was better than I ever could have imagined. He has a gentle hand and the healing has been easy. It is quite literally the best tattoo experience and tattoo I have to date, and I have some extensive work.

Rian was probably the best person to get my first tattoo from. Very informative and knowledgeable. I have a nickel allergy, and he went out of his way to ensure I had the best possible experience to ensure I got the best results and healed properly. I cant give him enough praise. I love his work and plan to go back for future tattoos.

Rian is simply the best! He is detail oriented, intentional and incredibly talented. He listened carefully to my vision for my tattoo and created exactly what wanted. He listened to my feedback without ego and made corrections. He gave me suggestions and insights that I would have never considered. He even did testing to make sure that I was not allergic to any of the ink. I am obsessed with my tattoo and cannot thank Rian enough for his dedication and expertise!

I was tattooed by Rian many years ago in Edmonton. It was a very positive experience from start to finish.Despite my indecision, and shifting ideas regarding what I wanted, Rian remained patient, supportive and kind throughout the process.In the end, he free handed an absolutely beautiful skull/rose piece that I still love to this day. I get many compliments on his work, and I couldn’t recommend him highly enough. With his guidance and expertise, I left a very happy customer. Very skilled artist!

I am so thankful that I was able to find and work with Rian. I needed to cover up a tattoo that was causing me some emotional trauma. I reached out to several tattoo artists and they all said it was too difficult and couldn’t be done. Rian didn’t even question it. He jumped right in to help! He helped me design the cover up, working to create my vision through his artistry, and in the end it turned out more incredible than I had dared to hope. He has some serious skills! He’s also just a lot of fun to work with. I’m going back for a second cover up next month and I can’t wait!

I got my first ever tattoo from Rian and I couldnt have asked for a better experience. He made sure I felt comfortable speaking up to get everything exactly how I wanted it while also explaining what was and wasnt possible. I dont have many tattoos, but getting tattooed by Rian beats my other (also good, just not Rian good) experiences by a mile.Rian also clearly cares about his clients general well being beyond just the tattoo and aftercare. I recently-ish had a consultation for another piece while I was going through a really rough patch. Rian picked up on it and asked if I was doing okay (I was not). Long story short, a Zoom consult turned into some of the best life advice Ive ever received and a decision to hold off on the tattoo until I was doing better. Ill definitely be going back (hopefully for my next piece) :)

I’ve had three tattoos by Rian and I can’t recommend him enough! The initial consult is like none other. Rian wants to make sure that both parties are on the same page about the reason for, the look and feel of, the tattoo. Rian is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, laid back, funny, and talented. It’s been an honor to work with him and will continue to do so for any future work. He’s simply the best!

Sorry, this will be long:Rian is awesome; all that needs to be said. It’s rare to find a person that is truly passionate about what they do for a job, but for Rian tattooing is his passion. He has taken the time to not only learn the art but also the science behind tattoos and tattooing, and his knowledge is matched by his skill. While working with Rian he took the time to educate me about both the art and science behind tattooing so I could make solid decisions in picking other artists as I move forward in the future.I have an autoimmune disease and any trauma to my skin can cause massive breakouts and for my first tattoo I chose a quarter sleeve. Before we sat down for the tattoo he took the time to understand my specific condition, how I manage it and went over how the tattooing could affect me and what to do to mitigate it. Is knowledge and understanding frankly shocked me in all the good ways. The work itself was fantastic, he watched not only how I handled the pain but how my skin was handling the needle and the ink. I wasn’t sure if I’d ever get a second due to my condition but I am currently working on getting my second and drawing out my third and all the confidence I have came from sitting with Rian over 5+hours (2 sessions due to my skin).Thanks man, I look forward to working with you again.

Rian is the best! His tattoos are intricate and fast. I got a large color piece done on my forearm in one three-hour session. Rian is big on aftercare, and we came up with a program based on my skin type that worked for me.

Rian has gone above and beyond what I envisioned when I went to get work done on my sleeve. Not only is his interview process a masterclass on its own, but he also takes the time to really bring to life it is what you’re thinking - and he applies that seamlessly the final product. Rian is so versatile at what he does that I can’t imagine going to another artist again. I am extremely excited to partner with him on more of my projects to come.
