You can expect stellar work out of Dire Wolf Tattoo. Dustin was very professional and has some killer artistry skills. He hand-designed my art from start to finish, taking in my input along the way. I would highly recommend Dire Wolf to anyone seeking some fresh ink.

Just got a bigfoot and alien campfire tattoo and Skot was great and gave good recommendations for some spots to check out locally, stop in while hes still in town especially if you like cryptids!

I was aware of Dire Wolf from passing by in the neighborhood. (This positive review is being written by another local tattoo artist.) I received a client who reported that she came in to Dire Wolf asking for a complex full color piece.You graciously explained your limited palette preferences and offered your time explaining why you work within your chosen specialty and how artists structure their practices differently.You were courteous professional and respectful. Taking the time to explain how you run your artistic practice and small business and why you would be a better fit for a future project left a very favorable impression with her.We worked together on that color piece and she is excited to come back to you for some black illustrative work on another piece soon. It is nice to hear about positive respectable and transparent practices, well done.

Had a consultation with Dustin. He took my idea made some suggestions that made it 10 times better.EDIT: I got the tattoo. Holy cow its good. It was a fantastic experience. I can not recommend Dustin enough.

I’m getting inked by Karla as we speak! She is so incredibly kind and really made me feel so safe getting a tattoo on my hip. I felt so comfortable and feel so honored to have her art on my body! She is probably one of the best artists I have ever worked with and I truly recommend her to all my loved ones.Especially in COVID time, I felt safe and secure getting a tattoo. The shop is clean and spacious! .

Had an amazing experience with Dustin today. He was very patient as I changed some things with the tattoo I was getting and played around with spacing and moving things around. His line work is amazing and he is very kind. It was a pleasure spending a few hours with him. I also got to meet Skot, one of the owners, while I was there. Quite a funny guy. Very nice and pleasant. Together they definitely created an environment of professionalism and humor and comfortable tattooing. Thanks again Dustin for all your patience and hard work today.

Such a great experience from start to finish. Dustin was awesome helping me plan my piece. The shop was incredibly clean and had a super comforting vibe. The other two artists were there as well and were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Oh and if it’s something that matters to you, the work they do is amazing. That is important to some people hahaha. I’ve found my new permanent shop for sure, and would highly recommend to any and everyone.

I can not list enough reasons why I think this shop is the best around! It is unique and all three of the artists are very friendly and make you feel comfortable. Definitely not your traditional tattoo shop, its vintage decor is warm and inviting.Karla is so creative and spends a great deal of her time with me. My consultations are always so pleasant and she not only understands exactly what I want, but also gives great advice and tips along the way. She is a perfectionist at best and her drawings are so impressive! She makes sure the piece fits well in the area and that it is aligned appropriately at multiple angles. Scot, Karla, and Dustin are awesome the vibe in their shop is great. Everything is clean and professional. The conversation during my session was wide ranging and thoroughly enjoyable. The artwork on the walls is captivating, beautiful and done by Scot. The experience as almost like sitting down to have beers with an old friend. Ill be coming back for sure!

Skot is amazing! He makes you feel so comfortable throughout the entire session. You also get the bonus of getting to bounce ideas/conversations /placement with Karla and Dustin. 3 amazing artists and even better people! This shop is the only place I will go.

This shop is full of incredibly talented, experienced artists who love what they do and care about their clients. The environment is warm, welcoming, and clean.I highly recommend this shop to anyone, but especially to anyone who is new to the tattoo experience and/or might not be so sure about what they want. The artists have a gentle touch and are great at collaborating with you to make your design the best it can be w/o sacrificing your vision.Whether its a simple classic design or an intricate original piece, youll find the right artist here. And you wont want to go anywhere else!!

Great place. Skot, Carla and Dustin are not only all great artists but great people to hang out with. Love all these artists from previous locations and Dire Wolf has now become my go to parlor. Awesome space and awesome people doing awesome art at an awesome price. Cant recommend it enough

The artists at this shop are all experts at their craft. Karla has done over 13 tattoos on my body and I can honestly say that she is one of the best tattoo artists in Portland, in, Oregon, and probably in the western hemisphere. She is very open to client in-put and easy going if youre not jiving with a particular idea. But if youre comfortable with allowing an artist free reign she can really come up with show stopper tattoos for you. I get stopped on a daily basis and complimented on my tattoos.The shop is large and very open with tall ceilings. Very light and bright, comfortable to either get tattooed in or to go with someone who is getting a tattoo. Street parking only, and usually I can find a spot within a block or two.If you are willing to spend money on beautiful, quality tattoos and want expert execution this is the shop for you. You will not find better artists or a more pleasant shop experience.

Skot is amazing. My husband got his first tattoo with him at Dire Wolf, it was a really nice, clean, and welcoming space with equally pleasant artists. If youre looking for talent and a lovely PDX tattoo experience, this is the place!

These guys are awesome. Skot put in a lot of extra time and effort to make the ink look great, and was very professional but also friendly and easy to talk to. This is definitely the cleanest, friendliest, and nerdiest tattoo parlor Ive ever been in, and if anything they dont charge enough for the quality of their work.

I had a pretty cool idea for my last tattoo. Skot took it to an even higher level. I’ve seen his work and knew trusting him would turn out. He made such an amazing piece that developed as the tattoo developed. I won’t hesitate to enlist his art again if I’m lucky. Skot, You’re amazing!

Awesome place. Skot was super friendly and accommodating. We flew in from out of town and just happened to magically wander into this amazing place. I love their vibe and they were even able to squeeze us into their busy schedule and did an outstanding job.
