I’ve gotten all 14 of my tattoos from Fox. He does excellent, high quality, fast work. I’ve gotten both traditional and fine line tattoos from him and they are all amazing. The whole crew always has a welcoming attitude. There is a high focus on cleanliness and sanitation as well as making sure you are happy with your tattoo every step of the way! I highly recommend stopping by!

I recently got tattood with Azeta and had such a good experience. She really made sure that the placement was exactly where I wanted it, was friendly and welcoming, and worked quickly! I will definitely be back :)

I’ve gotten work done from Willie, Fox and Discount Stab Shack. These guys are amazing artists that made me feel welcomed. I have social anxiety but love tattoos and I spent way too many years not getting tattoos because of the too cool attitude I’ve encountered elsewhere. These guys are super kind and want to put amazing art on your body! The price seems more than fair for the work I’ve gotten. All my work healed perfectly and gets a lot of compliments. Good art, great guys, good price, great location. Really is the whole package

Had a lovely experience here. All of the artists were so kind, offering water and candy and just in general making sure I was comfortable. Galen was my artist and he was so kind and professional. I got three tattoos and he made sure to take care with placement, he took previous healed tattoos into consideration when selecting the type of needles for line work, and made sure I had an aftercare wrap that wouldnt irritate my skin. If you are looking for a place with good vibes and great artists this is it. I would highly recommend Electric Chair, and look forward to returning in the future!

Had the wonderful Fox as my artist, youll never meet a guy with a more contagious excitement for his craft! The business is tucked down and out of sight (still clearly visible from the road of course) making it very cozy, and the other two artists who were there at the time were very friendly and welcoming!If youre nervous about your first tattoo I highly recommend these folk :)

Electric chair is top notch. I have gotten two tattoos from Mike freeman and on the books for two more… the place is filled with artists telling hilarious stories and buzzing with excited clients about to deface their bodies. I highly recommend. Portland is filled with tons of pretentious tattoo shops with people who think they are so important, THIS IS NOT ONE of those shops, this is an old school Tattoo shop with no ego, and the work is excellent…

Called right when they opened and Fox was able to take us as a walk-in that day. He did an absolute phenomenal job and made my sister feel very comfortable with her first tattoo. It was an amazing experience overall!

Took a trip to the Discount Stab Shack. I paid him to hurt me, and it was absolutely worth it. The design was reminiscent of the original art, and healed up very well. I will be back. Also, you should go.

Top notch artists in a professional, clean and cool atmosphere knocking out some of the best tattoos in Portland. Highly recommend
