Tim and Hang are so incredibly welcoming and kind. Theyve put a lot of care into the studio to make it a beautiful and special space. Tim has been tattooing me for several years and brings my ideas to life while also making me feel safe and as comfortable as possible. Highly recommend checking the studio out!

Tim did a fantastic job on my double cover up sleeve. He’s a very accomplished tattoo artist and his work is beyond impressive. He was receptive to my original concept and spent a while throwing some ideas around with me to flesh it out. In my experience not every tattoo artist is as accessible and collaborative as Tim and he clearly wanted to make sure I was happy with my tattoo. He did a great job balancing my input with taking agency over the design and he came up with a drawing that I just absolutely love. The studio is beautifully decorated with lots of really cool, interesting art and a generally welcoming and chill atmosphere. I spent several full days at the studio and really enjoyed my time there. Although I have never had a hair appointment with Hang, I have seen tons of happy clients with amazing hair come out of their appointments with her. They’re both very talented, kind people and I highly recommend booking their services.

I absolutely Love coming to Exquisite Corpse, Hang is a Goddess when it comes to cutting hair, She not only makes me feel incredibly Beautiful while you’re getting your haircut . She’s so sweet and bubbly , pays attention to detail and talks you through the whole process.When she is finishes you feel fresh and new! She cuts your hair to suit your style. I’ve gotten several haircuts that I didn’t even know I could Pull off. The shop is absolutely gorgeous! She shares a space with her Wonderful Husband Tim. They’re a power couple! Tim is a master at his Art, he’s done a tattoo for me and it’s something out of this world. He’s extremely talented and a master at his craft. If you are looking for a place that does Hair and Tattoos I highly recommend Exquisite Corpse , you will not be disappointed, it’s the Therapy you’ve been looking for!

I came in for a tattoo which is in progress and is going to be phenomenal. Tim and his wife Hang are both super kind and friendly. They make you feel very welcome. The shop is beautiful, clean and decorated with a rad collection that of art. Highly recommend both of their services!

I came to Tim with a whisper of an idea for a tattoo, and not only was he into it, he brought it to life in ways I never expected. The tattoo was a big project so I had enough sessions to get to know Tim and his wife, Hang, a wildly talented hair stylist who also operates out of this shop, and both are some of the most welcoming people Ive ever met. Whether youre getting a tattoo or your hair done, you will 100% leave knowing that Tim or Hang cared about what they were doing for you.

Tim and Hang are some of the kindest folks. Everything about their space is thoughtfully conceived to ensure everyone is comfortable and well looked after. The place is immaculate, theyre careful about COVID (which helps you feel comfortable sitting twelve inches apart for seven hours), and getting to interact with Hang in between her customers is a real treat - shes a gem. Tim did an incredible job covering up an older piece I regretted. I just finished my third session and couldnt be happier. I am so pleased with the work, but also really enjoyed the company. Youd be hard pressed to find two more considerate folks than Tim and Hang.So glad yall opened Exquisite Corpse. Cant wait to come back.

If someone had told me that one day Id be able to frequent the same business to get both stunning haircuts (and color!) AND magnificent tattoos, Id have said, Sure, and when I get home Ill have faucets that pour champagne, phở, and hot chocolate. But here we are. I still dont have magical faucets at home, but my hair is fire and my new tattoo work is unreal. And they come from two of the kindest, coolest, most thoughtful, compassionate, and intensely creative humans Ive ever met.Come for the personal enhancements, stay for the great conversations, superior tunes, and gorgeous goth gallery aesthetics. Ive never felt so at home while out for a haircut or tattoo session. Each time I leave Exquisite Corpse I feel more like myself, inside and out.P.S. - When I popped in to write this review I noticed whats clearly a fake (and grammatically incorrect) one-star review that reads like like a Tr*mp tweet. Hopefully Google has removed it, but if not, please disregard the rageaholic and let Hang and Tims impeccable artistry speak for itself.

Hang is easily the best hair stylist Ive met in my six years in Portland. What she offers goes way beyond a haircut -- she helps you build the confidence to embrace your best look. Shes also an incredibly fun person to spend time with!

Hang and Tim are the best! Havent had the pleasure of ink yet but Hang is a hair genius! Shes been doing my cuts for years and Ive never had a less than perfect experience.

Hang and Tim have created something special at this new location. The cleanliness and fresh feel made my experience that much better. Everything about this place was designed with comforting a client in mind. You just don’t get this level of customer experience anywhere.Landon
