Very cool place, very Portland. Got my first tattoo here mainly from recommendations and some online. Easy process leading up to my appointment with good communication via emails. The design I wanted was a bit unusual but Luke the artist had no problem. I chatted with him the whole time and what took about an hour and 15 min seemed like 20 min. He is very talented and approachable, plus you could tell he was legit by his own tattoos and artwork. All the artist there had artwork on the walls for display as well, all very unique and cool. Waiting period once there was short. When finished I was given healing instructions since I was a newbie and it healed fine without problems. I was very impressed and happy with the final product as it had special meaning to me. Perfect! Good price for something that lasts a lifetime. I wish I was as talented as the people there. They all seemed very chill but professional. What an awsome job/hobby. Thank you tons especially Luke!!

I wanted to get a memorial tattoo of one of my best friends who passed away on May 6th of this year. I Googled tattoo places in St. Johns and Lombard Street Tattoo, popped up with a 4.9 rating. I had no appointment. I just walked in and was greeted by a staff member named Jasmine. She was very friendly and welcoming. I showed what I wanted and she asked if I wanted it done today. I said yes. I was booked with Stinky Luke. He saw what I wanted explained that there would need to be some modifications due to small area where I wanted my tattoo placed. He told me his ideas and put it to paper. I absolutely love my new tattoo. Stinky Luke, did an amazing job on my tattoo. I started to get emotional when I saw the finish work. I will definitely be going back for my next tattoo. Everyone that works there is very friendly and welcoming please give them your business. Very clean and sterile environment to have your next tattoo.

Just got Tatted by Zane. If you need a tattoo in St Johns area the vibes here are IMMACULATE. was greeted warmly and treated respectfully, probably my favorite part of getting tatted is bonding with the artist. Will return, thank yall so so much for the perfect experience.

For years, I have trusted Tony Téllez with my tattoos, and each experience has been truly delightful. From the moment I walk in until I leave, he ensures that I feel welcome and at ease. Tony is always accommodating, whether I want to tweak a stencil or rethink the placement of a tattoo. His work is consistently outstanding and precise, with his choice of colors and intricate details always impressing me. The atmosphere at Lombard Street is just like Tonys work - welcoming, comfortable, and top-notch.

I had an old tattoo I wanted to cover and stopped into their shop. I got advice from one artist who recommended Tyler.There was a process to coming up with a concept but once I found one Tyler saw how to make my vision realized. I can’t say enough how pleased I am with how it all came out and how easy it was working with him.Everyone there at the shop were the best I could hope for. A great atmosphere.

I cannot say how amazing my experience was at LST! I moved to the neighborhood and decided to get a flash from Willis. The whole team was nice and approachable from the very beginning. The store manager- Jasmine was friendly and even checked in on me during the session! Willis was amazing: friendly, communicative and did great work. One of the least painful tattoo experiences! She even offered me a snack !! All of the artists were friendly and positive. It is a real team here and I would 10/10 recommend getting your tattoo here.

I’ve been to Lombard Street Tattoo three times and just made an appointment for a fourth. They’ve made each visit as comfortable and accommodating as possible. Jessi’s work is stunning and she’s easy to talk to. It makes the time fly by and before you know it you have an amazing tattoo to show off. I couldn’t recommend this shop enough!

Ive gotten two tattoos here from Connie Gabbert. The shop has fun & funky vibes (and is, most importantly, very clean). But I just wanted to come on here and show some love for Connie, who does an amazing job! Her artwork is incredible and her lines are so clean and crispy, and heal up very well. Overall it was an awesome experience for my first tattoo, Bryce did a killer job with an awesome design. The shop has an amazing crew, and has an amazing culture of inclusivity which was great for a first timer. My tattoo is still healing but my time there already has me thinking and planning out my next one. Will definitely be returning for more art.

Love this place. Just got a tattoo done by Rebecca and I highly recommend her / this shop in general. They’re taking some serious Covid precautions which made me feel very safe. Rebecca had some great options drawn up and was able to freehand the details of a beautiful pinecone working off the outline. My phone, keys and wallet were sanitized and masks worn at all times. Just to reiterate - get a tattoo from Rebecca - she’s amazing.

I got tattooed by Jessi Preston during my trip to Portland and it was probably my favourite tattoo experience ever. Everyone at the studio was super nice, we chatted throughout the 2 hours of inner bicep tattooing that really distracted from the pain. I absolutely love my tattoo and am so happy to have finally gotten something by Jessi - and hopefully this wont be the last.

My favorite place to get tattooed. Ive been tattooed at Lombard probably 10+ times and everyone here is just a cool, genuine, wildly talented human. The shop is trans-, queer-, and fat-friendly, plus woman-owned, and theres just no intimidation or douchebaggery to be found here. For specific tattooers, I can personally vouch tattoos from Jessi, Ona, Amado, Zane + Zippy/Olive. Call em up, just do it, you wont regret it !

This building is amazing! So much history and fun design in the space. It is set up with each artist having their own space and is very accommodating to covid/distancing practices. My artist was incredible and talented! I would definitely go back!

I’ve been tattooed here multiple times and the reason I keep coming back is because not only do all of the artists do quality work, but they’re extremely polite and humble people. I’m a naturally anxious person, but I always feel super welcome in the shop.There are a lot of quality tattoo shops in town, but they aren’t all as friendly as LST!

I came in to get a tattoo from Jessi and it was such a great experience. The atmosphere is creative and calm and safe, and she was so warm and awesome to work with. The best tattoo experience Ive had to date and will definitely be back for more!

The best experience I’ve had with tattoo parlours this far! I called the shop a few times and a few different days and everyone I talked to was so nice and friendly, and so helpful! They have so much talent in this shop! Anyone you go to will do an amazing job! When I went I had a guest artist Josh Koester, he is an AMAZING artist to say the least. I appreciated how clean the shop was. Very satisfied with my overall experience with everyone at Lombard Street Tattoo! Will definitely be coming back!

UPDATE: recently had an appointment with Emily/Koala and was more than thrilled with both the final piece and the entire process. From the beginning they were so kind and inviting and everyone in the shop is so nice and fun to talk to. Everything was so clean and Emily did an INCREDIBLE job. Came here to get my first tattoo and the experience I had was phenomenal! The staff is very friendly and helpful, Jessi made me feel very comfortable and relaxed during the tattoo process and my tattoo came out looking better then I could’ve imagined. This shop is great! High ceilings, bright light, and plenty of skilled staff to take on your tattoo requests. Theyre still taking safety measures like limiting the number of people in the shop, masks, and hygiene which I personally appreciate. I had a great experience and will probably be back again!

I love this shop! They are welcoming and always accommodating to my tattooing needs! Each of them are very talented and supportive of one another, which I feel is an important attribute to a successful shop! I rarely leave reviews for any place but this place definitely deserves one. I went here to get my first tattoo today and I was quite nervous. I didn’t know what to expect and I didn’t know how I’d be able to handle the sting. My artist was Max Estes, who was very laid back and kind to me and he did such an AMAZING job. It turned out so much better than I imagined. I was honest to God so SPEECHLESS when he was finished. The staff overall was very welcoming and kind to me and my mom who tagged along (mama bear things haha). I felt like he was serious and professional while showing his sketch and actually tattooing me. I went to other parlors in the past to talk to different artists about what I wanted but the vibe I ended up getting from them was something like “oh here we go, here’s another teenager who wants a tattoo, blah, blah, blah”. I did not get anything even close to that from Max Estes, which is why I highly recommend him. If you are looking for a place to get a quality tattoo, this is the place!! I highly recommend this place for people who are looking to get their first tattoo. I promise you that you’ll feel welcomed and satisfied with your experience. Thank you Max for making my first experience go as smooth as possible. I will be coming back for my others and recommend this place to all my friends.

Max is working on my sleeve, it is a floral design. He is amazing!!! I was pretty nervous about some parts and he helped me through them. He is a great artist! Everyone there is super nice. The environment is just overall great and welcoming from everyone in the shop. They have so many amazing artists there, I wont go anywhere else!

Emily and Monica did a fantastic job with myself and my wife. Helped us both to get the tattoos we wanted, and they came out beautifully. It’s a comfortable space to be tattooed in, with a plethora of talented artists.

The people who work there are amazing. They got me in quickly for a memorial tattoo in honor of mother. My artist did a great job on my artwork. Will definitely be returning for more art!

It really is one of the friendliest shops Ive been to. All the artists seem to love what they do and were enthusiastic about what people wanted to get done from the consultations I overheard. They all came over at some point and complimented Nic Eldridge, my tattoo artist, on what he was working on, which made me extra stoked about an already great tattoo. The tattoos are also great and the shop is clean, just cant say enough good things about the experience I had here.

Easily my favorite tattoo shop in Portland. Being tattooed is such an intimate and often anxiety provoking experience, and the professionals at LST do everything with such warm intentionality. I have never felt more welcomed and at ease than I do being tattooed there. Cannot recommend enough!

Came here about a month ago to have a consult with Jaime. He was very professional and friendly. My tattoo came out perfect and I already have another appointment set for a second one. Def recommend Jaime for any/all Japanese style tattoos. The shop itself is very clean and welcoming. All the tattooers there seem to love what they do and are very friendly. Overall great shop and would recommend!

Lombard Street Tattoo, in my opinion, is the best tattoo shop in Portland. Im new to Portland, heavily tattooed, and needed a new artist. So, I researched extensively spending multiple hours looking through artists portfolios, and not only was Jessies portfolio (I went with her because of her AMAZING Traditional American work) incredibly impressive, but every single artist there at the shop has an immense amount of talent with a tattoo gun, and Id proudly be inked by any of them. The shop was VERY clean, ALL employees were really friendly and personable, and they actually had good music playing! Most of my tattoos have been done with blaring death metal for my hours long sessions. Jessie, as Im positive all the artists there would, went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my tattoo. I was happy enough to schedule an appointment for another one this Friday, to say the least. You guys rock!!!

I have never felt so welcomed in a tattoo shop, especially since Im a newbie. Everyone had the right balance of being fun and laid back while still being professional. I felt comfortable asking questions and got great feed back. The passion they all have for the art of tattooing makes for a great experience. I highly recommend whether youre a newbie or have been getting tattooed for years.

I loved that they advertised through Instagram stories who had last minute openings. This made it super easy for me to come in on a whim and get tattooed. I was very easily able to look at their page and see which stylist did which work. I chose Emily since she had an opening and she was great. She gave me super clean lines and had good communication. Her pressure is great. She held good conversation and was very down to earth. She definitely made me want to come back here after I’ve been looking for a shop to go to.

On top of that Jessi gave me some temporary tattoos for my little one (which she absolutely loved). Thanks for such a positive experience and a stellar tattoo! Looking forward to another one soon!

I walked in today and got a tattoo from Tina. It was my first tattoo. She made the experience extremely comfortable, and provided a ton of support when drawing out my idea. Clean shop, super friendly staff. 10/10 would recommend.

Over the last 30 years I have had tattoos from various shops around Portland. Lombard Street Tattoo is now at the top of the list.The artist I worked with was Tina Platis. She rocks - professional, very clean lines (even my wife noticed and commented), great colors, worked with me on my idea for the tattoo, and she is a nice person. When I have my next idea for a tattoo, she is the first tattoo artist I will contact to have the work done.Overall, I was very impressed with the shop. The staff was friendly and helpful - on the phone, online, and in person. The shop itself was clean and had a good vibe. I would definitely recommend Tina Platis, and Lombard Street Tattoo in general, if you want to get a tattoo.

I got tattooed with Emily yesterday & I am so happy with the outcome! I emailed her a few weeks back about a pet memorial tattoo for my kitty who recently passed & she drew up an amazing design that I am so happy to have on my body forever. All the artists were super friendly & I’ll definitely be back for my next tat :)

This shop is so welcoming and inclusive. Everyone is positive and seems to enjoy being there. Clean and fun, plus a bonus shop dog! They also have a really strong Instagram presence which makes it easy to check out artist portfolios and stay informed about guest spots. Ill definitely be back.

I have been tattooed here twice and have brought in two of my friends as well and every person I came in contact with was awesome. I got my first tattoo with Max and he’s hilarious and made me feel very comfortable, I would definitely recommend him and his work to anyone. 🤘🏼

My partner and I went to Lombard while visiting Portland, and I was tattooed by Rebecca; from start to finish, the experience was super pleasant and professional. The shop manager was very welcoming, and Rebecca was also easy to work with. Rebecca was very thorough and helped develop the tattoo idea to its best form. The work itself turned out gorgeous (three insects around elbow area) and exceeded my expectations/hopes for it.Though we live several states away, my partner and I would definitely come back for any further tattoos in Portland!

Max is an amazingly talented tattoo artist! He did my half sleeve in Ashland and I even came up to Portland just so he could make it into a full sleeve. I couldn’t be happier and he’s the only one I’ll let get near me with a tattoo gun.

2 people there when arrived with a friend. The two guys there seemed disinterested in helping us. Then when one was told what we wanted, small text tattoos, he said yeah, we have a $100 minimum, and turned away. For a shop where no one was working it seems like 2 tattoos of only 3 letters less than 2 long would be welcome for $20 each?!

I forgot the minimum has gone up a bit since my last tattoo and that irritates me when its a 30 minute tattoo. However they did a good job, copied the design exactly and people were polite

A friend and I went to see if the artists could do a walk in request. They were more than willing and were super helpful and nice! Super clean and great atmosphere I would definitely go back. Definitely worth the price and would recommend for experienced and first timers!

LST is everything you want in a tattoo shop — amazing artists, fun atmosphere, and professional. Tina is first-class, and she killed my traditional rose tattoo in memory of my parents and hometown.

I got a tattoo from here by a artist named Emily/Koala it healed very poorly and you can tell where they messed up and put the wrong color and then tried to cover it up. This tattoo meant a lot to me and it’s really sad to see it look so bad. I also communicated with them on Instagram and then when I was ready to get it touched up they ghosted me.
