10/10, the best tattooing experience Ive ever had! I got a freehand snake tattoo by Parker and was so happy with the process and am absolutely over the moon with the result. Its my favorite tattoo so far, and by far the one I get the most compliments on. Parker is so talented (I wish I could bold and underline that) and equally kind. Im a very anxious/nervous type and everything about the studio and the interaction with Parker made me feel totally comfortable and at ease. Even when I asked to redo the placement / scale a number of times, Parker never once made me feel uncomfortable and instead was super gracious and encouraging. Thank you Parker!!

Parker & Maria are wonderful. Their tattoo space is so comfortable, unique & inviting for all. The attention to detail in her work makes it so worth the wait! I’ve been tattooed by Parker 3 times over the last few years & she always remains consistent with her work & attitude. I love my tattoos and always get so many compliments everywhere I go. If you’re looking for well done fine line tattoo work in the PNW Parker and Maria are as good as it gets. As someone who has been tattooed by both Parker and Maria and spent almost 30 hours getting tattooed in their studio I can attest to their quality of work, professionalism, kindness, bed side manor, and just all around making you comfortable and giving you the absolute best experience possible. I have yet to have a better overall experience getting tattooed then I have at Midnight Tattoo. As someone who is fairly heavily tattooed the NUMBER ONE question I get about my tattoos is “Who does your fine line work?” And rightfully so, the quality is exceptional. All of my work has healed beautifully and I recommend them to EVERYONE! You will not be disappointed!

I have many tattoos by many different artists but Parker is easily the kindest and most welcoming. She was extremely patient and spent a considerable amount of time with me determining the best placement and size. During the tattoo, she even gave me a fidget spinner as she must have sensed I was feeling anxious. Parker is the artist thats doing my sleeve (currently in progress). It has been absolutely the most wonderful experience. Parker, Maria, and the rest of the Midnight folks are so welcoming. The atmosphere is TOP TIER 10/10. The tattoo itself? Beautiful, exactly what I wanted, minimal pain. My last two appts were 9+ and 4 hours and both FLEW by. Midnight Tattoo is an absolute gem. Working with Parker was amazing from the start, she was very kind, informative, and excited via email and even more so in person! Parker took the time with sizing & stenciling to get it just right, and worked with me to do fun customizations and add-ons along the way. She also took time to check in for breaks, had all the snacks + CBD beverages (highly recommend) available, an IPad, and is very easy to chat with! Maria, Katrina, and Chas are all so kind and friendly, too. Comfort is a priority there and they make it easy to find. The attention to detail is top notch; the space is a gorgeous, airy and light, relaxing, with something beautiful to see in every corner. The details in my tattoo still amaze me every day, & theres no shortage of well-deserved compliments on the work!! I feel so lucky to have some of Parkers artwork. 🖤(Also, just when I though Midnight couldnt get any better, they introduced Dexter! The sweetest lil therapy pup who brings all the smiles and snuggles!)

Parker is an excellent and welcoming artist, this was my 3rd tattoo and the first one that I truly thought out and researched and it was fully worth the wait. We got delayed during 2020 but Parker still kept me in the books and was ready to book me whenever I was able to visit since I am out of town. The experience was so lovely and she truly thought of everything I may need to feel comfortable. The studio was beautiful and clean, highly recommend!

Midnight Tattoo is legit next level greatness. Parker is so fun, welcoming, kind, and warm. I always felt safe and cared for during the whole session. Parker was an absolute treasure to work with. I had been following Parkers work for a while and JUMPED on the opportunity to get one of their pieces. Not only did I feel comfortable, safe, and supported, Parker was delicate, communicative, and gave me the least painful tattoo of my life! (On my spine as well which can be very spicy!) The studio was gorgeous and I loved how easy she made it to understand how to get there, where to park, and where the door to the studio was. There was no room for nerves, and the overall experience was amazing.

I cannot even begin to tell you how absolutely incredible my tattoo experience was with Midnight Tattoo. They are seriously the sweetest and have created the most welcoming atmosphere for everyone. Not only did they listen to everything I wanted, but Parker did an amazing job with my tattoo. I will definitely be going back for their top-notch skills, but honestly, I cant wait to return for the warm and calming vibe that made me feel so safe and supported. Parker is incredible- she made me feel so welcomed and comfortable in the shop. She made she I was as comfortable as I could be for my leg piece and reminded me to take as many breaks as I needed. I cannot wait to get more of her art on my body 😍

I have about 10 tattoos now and this was my first time feeling beyond comfortable. I’d say 7/10 of my tattoos have been done by queer artists, I just gravitate towards them since they’re way more likely to be welcoming. Parker tops the cake tho. I literally want another tattoo just for the sake of seeing Parker again, she’s literally one of the dopest people I have ever met. Super patient and understanding and let me say, Parker is actually a perfectionist cause home girl laid the stencil down 4 times until SHE was satisfied. 10/10 recommend the environment that Parker provides, not to mention she’s just beyond talented. To be tattooed by Parker is literally an honor.

I found midnight tattoo at the end of 2020 and they have set the bar so high for anywhere else. Not only is the space is so comfortable and bright but the vibes are ✨immaculate✨. Parker and Maria are just amazing. It’s unreal that they are so talented and also such beautiful humans inside and out.Just finished a fine line leg sleeve project with Parker that I will never stop being obsessed with. I truly can’t recommend them enough!

I got my wonderful tattoo from Parker in February 2023 and I had an awesome experience at their studio. She was great about giving me options for sizes for stencils and offered to set up the iPad for me to watch a movie during my appointment. Parker worked quickly and made sure to ask if I was comfortable or needed a break during my session. I’d recommend Midnight Tattoo to everybody and hope to get more tattoos here!

Had a perfect experience here - 3 long sessions and each was great. Studio is lovely - feels safe, clean, and very comfortable. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. I didn’t know it was possible getting a tattoo could be so relaxing. The artist I worked with, Chas, was so patient and kind. He really put in the time and mental effort to understand what I wanted and to connect with me and my ideas. Very grateful, highly recommend, would absolutely go back!

I got my first ever tattoo at Midnight with Katrina a little over a year ago. The experience was amazing from start to finish. Katrina worked hard to design my tattoo to my specifications and preferences, nailed the placement and size, and was very attentive to my comfort levels. They are very clean, gave me great advice for the healing process, and made sure I gave consent during each step of the tattoo process. My tattoo feels like it has always belonged on my body and I am so honored that I get to walk around with such a stunning piece of art on my body. I will for sure be back for future pieces.

I got my first tattoo from Parker at Midnight Tattoo just over a week ago and the whole experience was amazing. I drove down from Seattle, she was happy to do some last minute tweaks and talked me through picking the right size for the location. I had been warned by others that artists usually pressured you to pick the larger size so they could make more money but I did not find this to be the case with Parker. When it came to the actual tattoo process, she talked me through everything and went slow at first putting needle to skin to make sure I was good since I was nervous. During the 6 hour tattoo process, it was a nice balance for me of talking and us both being in our own little book worlds. There were two other artists working on that day and both of their work looked beautiful and like they were taking great care of their clients. Overall, I couldnt have asked for a better experience getting my first tattoo and would highly recommend Midnight Tattoo whether its your first or 100th tattoo :)

I probably won’t get tattooed any other place but Midnight. Parker has made the tattoo experience so personal and comfortable that it’s such a treat to come and get tattooed here. I have plenty of tattoos that I like from other shops, but don’t love cause I felt intimated to say I didn’t like the size of a stencil or the way something looks. Parker will work with you on a stencil for hours, is opening to collaborating on design, I could go on but there is no ego and it’s such a safe and welcome space. Bonus! There are snacks and the merch is 👌

I’ve got a couple of tattoos done by Parker here and she makes you feel so comfortable and safe. The whole studio environment feels relaxed and pleasant. Parker takes the time to make sure the design and placement is exactly as you want it. You can take breaks whenever you need to though it’s one of the least painful tattoo experiences I’ve had as she has a light hand. She does beautiful work and is a really nice person while doing it. I’d highly recommend and will continue to come back.

I got my 4th tattoo here from Parker. I’m absolutely obsessed with the results. This was the first time I had a multi hour long tattoo session and she made it so comfortable. If you want to have the best, most comfortable and welcoming first tattoo experience then you need to book with Maria Midnight!!! I had the opportunity to be tattooed by Maria in May of 2021, and it was honestly such a nice introduction into the tattooing process! She was so patient with me given that it was my first tattoo, and I can honestly say that I would absolutely come back and I recommend her to everyone who compliments my tattoo (believe me when I say I get compliments EVERYWHERE I go!!) Not only is she talented but she’s also so nice and friendly— I almost regret not talking to her a bit more! (I ended up being a bit quiet during my session lol.) I haven’t had the pleasure of getting tattooed by Parker yet, but there is no doubt in my mind that she is going to be JUST as nice and kind if and when I get on her books. 10/10!!

This place is such a safe space, the owners and artists here set a comfortable tone, are easy to talk to, and put comfort and consent above everything. As a woman getting a tattoo this is so incredibly important! Getting a tattoo is an uncomfortable process for the body but Parker - who gave me my tattoo - made sure to do everything to make it as comfortable as it could be. She provided a blanket, an extra pillow, a phone stand, snacks, and checked in with me regularly, making sure I was breathing, drinking water, and taking breaks. 5 stars is not enough, because I havent even talked about the work itself! Everyone here is a gifted artist, Parker gave me a freehand snake and its such an honor to display this unique and gorgeous piece forever! Thank you to everyone at Midnight Tattoo for creating such a safe and fun space. 💓

This shop is amazing. I have 4 pieces of work done by Maria. Every time I have gone in I am so comfortable and just vibin’ the whole time. Their social media is comfort content. They clearly prioritize integrity, kindness, and quality. Though I have no tattoos, after relentless stalking of the studio’s artist, consistent picturesof healed/fresh work, if I ever do get a tattoo, I’m going here.

I got my first tattoo this weekend and it was the best experience!! This isn’t your typical scary tattoo shop. This was my first and I was incredibly nervous. Chas walked me through the design and ensured I was happy the whole way through. The tattoo came out even better than I expected!! 👏🏻 He really listened to all 1000 of my design ideas and focused on the detail I was looking for. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone but particularly anyone looking to get your first tattoo. TLDR: Parker is professional, a great artist, and is flexible and transparent with her clientele. Definitely recommend!I filled out Parkers tattoo proposal form and got a reply from her pretty quickly (which is kinda shocking given how popular she is... must have been right time right place). She was professional when she got back to me and was transparent about the cost of what I was asking for and her timeline. When the quote was a bit higher than I was able to afford, she offered to work on the piece over time so that we could split up the costs OR to scale down the piece to be within a budget I could work with. I opted for the latter and we were set! I showed up day of and she was ready right on time. She had sent me the artwork the night before and was open to the changes I wanted to make. When I arrived, she changed the piece on the spot so that it would work perfectly with the way my body is shaped. My piece was the first time shed done something mirrored and it was clear she was stoked to do the piece and loved the challenge. It came out beautifully and I would definitely recommend going to her! Shell let you know if shes comfortable with the proposal and only tattoos pieces that shes personally excited and proud about. It helps that shes overall just a great person and enjoyable to be around!

I had an amazing experience at Midnight Tattoo with Parker. I went in for a forearm floral piece and I instantly felt comfortable in the space. Parker communicated with me throughout to make sure I understood the process. She checked in regularly to see how I was doing. With COVID still happening, they are very thorough will keeping things sanitized, extra masks and face shields are provided, a sink to use to wash your hands, and a container to keep your belongings safe. I felt safe to.come in without having any worries.. Absolutely love my first tattoo done by Maria. She took the time to explain everything and made sure the placing of it was just right. Highly recommend this spot, they are all talented.

I just had my third session with Parker. The first was my best tattoo experience ever, as were the second and third - prompting this overdue review. Parker was meticulous about my comfort every step of the way. There were frequent check ins as to how I was feeling, whether I was in need of a break or how my pain tolerance was holding up. She also had snacks on hand in case you felt a little blood sugar drop. The studio itself is so warm and inviting, not at all like other tattoo studios I’ve been to. Parker was welcoming and kind as were Maria, Chas, and Arabelle. Every other artist/studio I’ve dealt with in the past had a very elitist, ‘I’m so much cooler than you’ vibe. Aside from the expense of a well done tattoo, this attitude caused a lot of apprehension and anxiety around getting further work done. Parker is aware of this issue in the tattoo world and has made painstaking efforts to be as respectful and comforting as possible. So many times you have to sacrifice your personal comfort to get a beautifully done tattoo. With Parker you will get the best of both worlds. It’ll be as tranquil an experience as possible and Parker’s talent and creativity will ensure you are left with a truly breathtaking tattoo. I cannot recommend Parker enough.

After years of following Parker on Instagram, I was finally able to come in for a piece of her art! Everything from start to finish was smooth. Parker’s assistant was extremely helpful throughout the booking process. I was lucky to land a flash piece Parker had created. Parker went above and beyond and provided me with additional variations of the flash piece to ensure I was 1,000% happy with the design. I love that she took the time to look at the design with me, and to make further minor adjustments for a perfect fit. Throughout the tattooing process, Parker was a calm, delightful presence. I felt extremely comfortable and relaxed at Midnight. I loved the extra touches she provided - like cbd seltzers and a ton of movies/shows to watch during the tattoo time. She offered plenty of breaks and made sure to check in with me throughout the process. I am over the moon obsessed with the piece she created for me and can’t wait to come back for more!Also, I can’t forget to mention how lovely the studio is. The whole space is bright, welcoming and open. The other artists are all equally lovely and the space is filled with good vibes. 1,000000/10 recommend Parker.

I’m very selective of the tattoo shops and tattoo artists I go to, and Midnight exceeded expectations. The shop was beautiful, but the real magic was the calming energy you felt being there. Which is not always the case at a tattoo shop (if you know, you know).My appointment had to be rescheduled and Parker was able to fit me in super quickly and was incredibly accommodating since I was driving from out of state. She made sure every part of the experience went smoothly and spent time making sure the placement was perfect/getting my input along the way. I cannot recommend this studio enough.Parker and Maria know what they’re doing and I will be coming back, for sure.

This was hands down the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had. I managed to snag a last minute appointment with Parker for a pet portrait with florals and she was so kind and accommodating! She even let my pup come into the studio while I was getting tattooed! Parker was patient and allowed me to take breaks when needed - she even had movies available for me to watch! This is my favorite place to get tattooed and parker and maria are two of my favorite people, theyre so kind and talented, they really make sure you love your tattoo and are very attentive throughout the tattooing process, they have snacks and always check in for breaks, midnight is a warm and inviting tattoo studio, its also not intimdating like most traditional shopsi recommend midnight to anyone who asks where they should get tattooed in portland (and in oregon really)

This shop is so cute. Its inviting with lots of light and plants. I got a flash piece from Katrina and I am so in love with it. So accommodating, reassuring, and helpful! The stencil placement wasnt quite right the first time, and I was encouraged to re-stencil as many times as I needed to get it in the right spot. I definitely recommend this shop, and Katrina.

My experience at Midnight was hands down the best tattoo experience Ive had, having been to several studios in the past in New York City. From start to finish of the entire process, everyone I interacted with at Midnight was incredibly kind and welcoming. Danielle (Parkers assistant) was very responsive and provided several dates for me to choose from when scheduling my tattoo. The night prior to my appointment, Parker sent over a draft of her design for my tattoo, which I really appreciated in that it allowed me to really take time to look at and sit with the ins and outs of the design prior to being in the studio (in prior experiences, Ive felt pressured to not offer any feedback or thoughts because the artist was right there looking at me the day of my appointment). The day of the appointment, Parker was a dream to work with - super accommodating and encouraging of taking numerous breaks, making sure I was comfortable every step of the way, and supplying snacks when I was starting to get tired. I especially appreciated that she gave me time and space in the studio by myself to see how I felt about the stencil prior to committing to the tattoo placement and really emphasized consent. On top of all of this, Parker is truly just an amazingly talented artist and super chill person. Maria was also in the studio and was really sweet in interacting with me during various points of the day. I got my dream tattoo and cant wait to add more pieces!! :)

It’s been a minute since I’ve gotten some ink and definitely was not disappointed with Midnight Tattoo!Parker was my artist and was one of the most professional people I’ve met in this type of setting/line of work. I’ve already gotten a few compliments on my tattoo she did and will most definitely be getting more work done from her. It’s very obvious Parker cares about her clientele not just through the product she produces but the conversation we had along with a thoughtful gift she included since it was my birthday :-).Parker’s studio is a very clean, well managed location as well. The protocols put in place shows they uphold and maintain a safe environment! I recently was tattooed by Parker in early April and she was incredibly kind and thoughtful, which made the tattooing experience all the better. Her and her wife and co owner of Midnight, Maria, greeted me at the shop and Parker was very informative about my tattoo placement and design. Parkers assistant Danielle was incredibly helpful at responding to my booking proposal and went above and beyond to secure an appointment with Parker. I did my best to be flexible to the available dates that she gave me and ended up grabbing a cancellation spot that happened to open up. I know this is rare since Parker is very booked & busy so Im grateful that there was clear communication between us and my expectations were exceeded! The shop was very clean and beautiful, and Parker had different sizes of my design ready and offered to move the placement around to see what best fit with my current sleeve of tattoos which was so nice. She also had an iPad with movies to watch to distract from the tattoo pain, so watching Twilight and Harry Potter made the experience 10x better. Chas, another shop mate at Midnight, came in and greeted me kindly and the whole vibe of the shop was very calm and comfortable. At the end of the day, you are paying for the experience and forever art on your body, and the artists here do their very best to accommodate to their ability with sliding scales, availability, and extra perks so Im glad I waited to get booked with Parker.

Parker has done two beautiful custom pieces for me so far and I hope to go back to her soon! She is professional, easy to get ahold of and an amazing artist. The studio she works out of is clean, aesthetically pleasing to be in and extremely quiet so getting tattooed is a wonderful experience. Any time people compliment my tattoos I make sure to recommend them to her :)

Parker and Maria are amazing artists and fantastic people. I have had two arm pieces done by Parker, and one done by Maria, and I cant wait to hopefully get more! I gave them both creative freedom in crafting a design that they were excited about doing, and it turned out so amazing. Despite me giving them complete and total creative freedom, both artists were communicative and thorough in making sure that the design they came up with was one I would want to wear on my body forever. They are both so sweet, caring, and talented. Coming from somebody also in the body modification industry, I also really appreciate the heavy emphasis that Midnight Tattoo places on client consent and the work that they have done on making the tattoo experience comfortable and less scary. I literally have nothing but good things to say about Midnight Tattoo, they are so so so so wonderful. Thank you guys!!!

I can’t say enough good things about Maria and Parker, and about Midnight as a studio. I’ve been tattooed by Maria four times since September, which speaks to how comfortable I feel there and how much I love her work (two of the tattoos were painful spots, my sternum and my hip, but Maria made them go by so quickly with her easygoing attitude and fun chatter). The studio space is bright and clean, the music is always super on point, and everything about it is relaxing and inviting. Both Parker and Maria are kind, patient, funny and they make the experience of getting tattooed 10x more fun. They do everything they can to make people feel safe and comfortable - you can bring snacks, blankets, and Parker has a setup so clients can watch Harry Potter! I feel like I never want to get tattooed anywhere else now, so 100/10 would recommend getting tattooed by either (or both!) of these amazing women.

I was tattooed in February by Parker. Setting up the appointment was very quick and easy! I got one of her flash pieces done of a monarch butterfly, knowing this was a repeated design. I love Parkers work, it is beautifully executed and clean. The space is very clean and is a very positive, relaxing environment. It took us 4 different tries to figure out good placement which I appreciated because we both wanted this to look great where I wanted it since its permanent. This was my second tattoo and I was asked throughout if I was doing okay. Parker makes great conversation and is very professional. I had a wonderful experience and would recommend this shop to anyone!

I have a friend who got an amazing tattoo and found out it was done by Parker. I knew I wanted to get one from her someday as well. Parker posted a random opening she had on instagram and communicated with me immediately and had several sketches sent to me within minutes! It was a super spontaneous appointment. Maria was such a delight to work with and I’m so thankful I got in her books! I got one of her butterfly flash pieces in August 2021. Her booking process was easy to navigate. Once I was booked, she sent very clear instructions for how to find the studio, parking, aftercare directions, etc.During my session I asked for a small design alteration, and Maria made the change for me no problem. I was really nervous about asking for the change, and she made me feel validated and comfortable about it. She also prepared many stencils for me so I could visualize different sizes and placement options. I went bigger than I originally thought I would, but I’m glad I did! The little details pop so much more this way!The tattooing portion of the appointment was easy breezy! Maria put a lot of effort and care into my piece!! She was very fun to talk to and we had a really good conversation. She also let me take breaks when I needed them and never made me feel bad about it. She also took the time to answer my questions about tattooing in general (tattooing techniques, how she started tattooing, etc), and it was really interesting to learn about that from her while I got my piece.Overall, 15/10 recommend Maria for your next tattoo!!! This review ended up way longer than I meant it to be but I feel like that’s a testament to how great of an experience I had :)I can’t wait to add onto this arm with Parker in a few weeks!! I wrote to Parker about a floral tattoo with several difficult requests. I had a scar cover up, a jumble of ideas, and a lot of anxiety about getting it perfect before I drove from Seattle to Portland.Parker responded quickly and helped get ideas down to make a clean, less cluttered tattoo. (I’m not artistic so I thought slapping it all on would be fine...) She was very understanding and patient even after I changed my mind a dozen times because of over thinking.Once I got to the shop, it was clean, calm, and organized. She makes sure to explain the whole process and where certain spots may be more tender, etc... I don’t have an issue with the pain of needles, just the sitting still for a long period of time. She was very understanding of breaks as well.I came out with the best tattoo I’ve ever gotten. I have received so many compliments and referred quite a few people to Parker and I highly suggest her to anyone else that is looking for a tattoo that matches her artistic style!I’m really looking forward to going back and add on with Parker in the near future once quarantine is over!

Got a fantastic and unique tattoo from Parker! It was my first tattoo with intense shading, but she definitely made me feel very comfortable and the piece is absolutely beautiful. It was a very professional and clean space, with a very calm atmosphere. That, paired with a very sweet dog, led to a wonderful experience. Would highly recommend getting a tattoo from Midnight, both her flash and custom designs are beautiful.

The booking process was easy and the communication was great. Going in and talking to Parker felt comfortable and not awkward in the slightest. We talked about the design and Parker suggested multiple placement options which was super helpful. Not once did I feel pressured to just hurry and pick what I wasn’t comfortable with. I cannot wait until my next tattoo! Everyone is so kind and welcoming. Parker always made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process and so patient with me. The professionalism and accommodating atmosphere was amazing and not intimidating at all. The phone/tablet holders to watch shows was very thoughtful. I got a flash piece from Parker. She was extremely kind and professional! Really timely with responses and flexible with my work schedule, which I really appreciated. She made it every step of the process clear and made sure I was happy with the piece, even as a flash design. Even cut me a price deal when she didn’t have to because the piece didn’t take as long as originally thought. I get compliments on my tattoo all the time and I love it! If I still lived in Portland I would 100% get another one of Parker’s pieces! Maybe one of these days when I can visit again :)

I got a custom portrait tattoo of my dog by Parker a couple months ago and was so impressed by their friendliness, punctuality, and care towards a client (aka me lol). We went over the multiple designs she drew up and carefully went over placement. I really appreciated how caring she was of knowing how sure I was about the design and the placement. Their space was super welcoming and comfortable. I was tattooed by Parker over a year ago and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She did such an amazing job designing the composition of my piece. She made sure I was happy with the design the night before, made sure to find the perfect placement, and really took her time to make my tattoo perfect for me! Parker did an incredible job on my half sleeve. This was my first big tattoo and she made me feel so comfortable. Her attention to detail is impeccable. Truly an amazing experience from booking/scheduling all the way to the tattoo its self. I booked with Parker and truly loved her flexibility with making sure that my stencil was exactly how I wanted. Parker is an incredible tattoo artist, and everyday I’m stopped by someone in public who wants to just stop and look at the amazing artwork that she put on my body. 10/10 would recommend. She’s such a good artist that her and I already have plenty of other designs in the work. With all tattoo artist though you have to play there strong suits. And parker is incredible at the work she does. And is upfront if she feels a certain design or idea wouldn’t work well with her style.

I have quite a few tattoos, and I like most of them but the tattoo I got from Maria last year is by far my favorite. It also feels the most natural on my body.I wish every tattoo shop ran like this one. They email you your tattoo beforehand so you have time to think about it. The consent process is amazing, and on top of that, Parker and Maria are basically the coolest.Maria is also a wonderful tattooer. My tattoo looks stunning and she was so gentle. She checked in with me often to make sure I was okay, and getting enough bathroom breaks.You will have no regrets if you get tattooed here. PS the studio is heaven.

Parker is an absolute professional! She is friendly, talented, communicative, and so easy to get along with. I adore my snake tattoo and I get complimented on it literally everywhere I go. When tattoo shops open up again, I plan on coming back to get a bird! I havent been tattooed by Jordyn or Maria yet but I admire their work and plan to hit them up sometime in the next year or so.

I really recommend this tattoo shop. I flew into Portland specifically to get a tattoo from Parker, and I love the piece i got. We had communicated via Instagram about the design, a cicada design to cover up a small stick n poke on my chest.I got to see the design the morning of my appointment, and Parker took my feedback very professionally. I discussed concerns about the placement in relation to my body, and worry that it would be too dark. Parker adjusted the wings to fit the space and let me know their opinion as an artist and said it was ultimately my decision on shading — but that we could start light and add more to see how it looks in real time.I had a wonderful first tattoo shop experience with Parker. Parker at Midnight has given me two tattoos, both of which I cherish greatly. I found her through another Portland artist when they were unable to tattoo me. She provided the best aftercare and really helped me feel comfortable during my experience. I had my very first tattoo experience with Parker about a year ago, and went back to her for a second one after a wonderful experience. She asked me what my budget was, and was extremely accommodating to that while making sure the price was reasonable for the complexity of the piece. She takes her work very seriously and wants to make sure you are getting the best tattoo she can provide. Any negative comments left about her, her business, or her partner, Maria, are from people who clearly lack respect for individuals in this talented line of work. I plan to continue letting Parker continue my sleeve, and anyone should consider themselves lucky to be tattooed by her or Maria. Two extremely talented individuals that deserve ALL the praise and credit for the hard work that they do on a daily basis. Bottom line, do not demand a service while simultaneously degrading the workers within that field. Especially if you are verbalizing your negativity from a lack of understanding and straight up disrespect. 5 stars NO question.

My experience with getting a tattoo done by Parker was amazing! Shes super friendly and easy to make conversation with, even while getting a needle blasted into you. The linework and detail is phenomenal, and the moth I got done gets constant compliments. I was traveling from out of state so I set up this appointment way in advance to ensure I could snag a spot while I was passing through Portland. Parker was super accommodating to the fact that I was on a road trip, and even sent me off with some free supplies to take care of my tattoo while camping. I changed my mind on the custom design I wanted a few weeks before my appointment and the change of plans was of no concern to Parker, and Im super happy with the direction we took the peice. Definitely looking forward to the next tattoo I get done here at Midnight.

I got my first tattoo with Parker (and my first tattoo ever) in December of 2019. I remember going into the appointment SO tense and nervous, I think I might have been shaking a bit haha and Parker immediately knew how to make me feel better. She calmed me down and she talked me through the process in a way that completely relaxed me. By the time she started tattooing, I was more focused on the conversation I was having with her rather than the actual tattoo and time ended up flying by and my tattoo was done before I knew it! I drove down from Seattle to get tattooed by Parker and she was super understanding of my slight delay after getting stuck in traffic from accidents on my way. I felt really comfortable in the space, especially since Parker let me bring a friend and checked in throughout the process to see if I needed to break to get some water, a snack or use the bathroom. Not to mention the beautiful freehand tattoo she did that turned out better than I couldve imagined! This was my first time getting a freehand tattoo so I was uncertain what to expect, but Parker talked through the process and asked for my input on certain aspects of the design. Im so happy with how the tattoo turned out and will definitely be visiting again to get more tattoos from Parker!!

Parker is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met! I get complimented almost every single day because of my tattoos and have been stopped multiple times to be asked who my artist is. Besides absolutely killing it on my butterflies/snake tattoos, I came back month after month because of the amazing experience I had with her. The studio is also beautifully decorated and makes you feel at peace the moment you enter. Every person I’ve brought to my appointments can say the same thing. I got a tattoo from Parker back in February and the whole experience was so smooth. They worked with me to figure out what placement would best suit my style, and then meticulously placed my tattoo to make sure that it was properly centered (wrist tattoo). Got an arm piece done by Parker in December and she’s absolutely wonderful! Super professional and responsive when booking the appointment, I claimed one of her custom designs PLUS she even changed it a little the day of per my request- so it would come out just how I wanted! The actual tattoo took shorter than i thought it would and turned out amazing! I’ve also purchased some of her merch and i love her artwork- she deserves to put it on whatever she’d like. The studio is so cute and clean and has a sitting area if you bring a friend, plus her dog was there for the end of my appointment! Definitely gonna get another piece from her when I can

I have yet to get a tattoo by Parker, but I have been a long time admirer of their work. I have inquired about a tattoo in the past and received a prompt response that was also very informative and friendly (I didn’t end up getting it for unrelated reasons.) During the state wide shutdown, I entered a raffle where I won 2 hours of tattoo time which was such a wonderful idea and so fun to be a part of. I have had nothing but pleasant communication with Parker and cannot wait to get my tattoo! ❤️❤️❤️

I was tattooed by Parker around a year ago (a floral cap on my left shoulder) and get stopped multiple times a week by people asking who the artist is. She was always clear and professional in our communication both before and during the appointments. We went back and forth several times in the 24 hours before my first appointment about the design and I could see her diligence in that process, to make a collaborative piece of art inspired by my story as well as her own artistry. She is ethical, kind, detailed, and wildly talented. As soon as I can, Ill be going back to have her add to my shoulder.

I went in for a tattoo on my toe (Maria), and some butterflies on my ribcage (Parker) and they were the best and most comfortable tattoo experiences i’ve ever had. Maria and Parker are so sweet, play the best music, and let you watch harry potter while getting tattooed. They take their time to make sure you are happy with the design and placement of the tattoo, as well as making sure you are comfortable throughout the entire experience. They would never tattoo something you are not comfortable with or they aren’t comfortable tattooing; they take their time to make everything perfect. Ribcage tattoos are pretty painful but parker was gentle, kept checking in to make sure i was okay; and was very sweet throughout the entire experience. Maria is one of the kindest people I have ever met, and is so welcoming. They have been so careful during the pandemic, and take measures to make sure nobody is in danger. I wouldn’t go to anyone else except them to get a tattoo! They are so talented, and really are the best.

I’ve been going to Midnight for the past 2 years and they are so wonderful. The environment here is uplifting and empowering. They truly care about their clients and have always made me feel so welcomed into their space, which is a rare occurrence around other tattoo shops I’ve been to. I have gotten several pieces from Maria here and receive many compliments. If you are looking for a comfy, and even first, tattoo experience, I HIGHLY recommend Midnight!

Amazing!! My friend and I both drove to Portland during finals week because we loved Parker’s style so much. We knew what we wanted but didn’t know 100% what we wanted it to look like and Parker was not only so so patient, but SO helpful in designing something beautiful and that looks good on the body. My favorite tattoo so far—thanks Parker!!

My sister and I have both had tattoos done here! Maria was my artist. Maria and Parker both make the space so welcoming and their art is so beautiful! I’m in love with the style. Even with covid, I feel so safe going here and appreciate them being so thorough when it comes to safety precautions.

I was tattooed here a few months ago, and even thought they preach being a safe space, did not feel that. I got a small tattoo that i’m okay about, but I should’ve looked into Parker’s page a bit more to realize the shop is LGB friendly, but not exclusively trans friendly. I’m fine if people like Harry Potter, but it would probably be smart to not gush about it to your trans clients who may or may not be aware of how awful the writer of the serious is. Like, maybe denounce JK even a little bit knowing how harmful to the trans community she is? Food for thought, Midnight tattoo but specifically Parker.

My very favourite piece of art I have on my body is from Parker. A year ago a got a custom tattoo of a pig wearing roller skates, an idea that meant so much to me, and I had an idea but thought that no artist would be able to execute the idea perfectly how I visioned it, but I was so so wrong! My pig is everything I could ever want and more! Im so happy to have a personalized piece of parkers art with me forever. We did have to reschedule a few times but it was at no fault of anyone, and Parker was quick to let me know about the changes in times. The studio is such a beautiful place and such a welcoming environment! I strongly recommend Midnight Tattoo.

While I have not had the tattoos I booked for done yet due to COVID-19, Parker has been extremely responsive and professional throughout the booking and scheduling process. She was patient with figuring out what I wanted detailed in a snake tattoo and I really appreciate that. Can’t wait to eventually get the tattoos done once situations improve!

I got tattooed by Parker and it was the best tattoo experience I have ever had. The whole space is gorgeous and I felt so safe the entire time. COVID precautions were followed and everything was so clean. She was so kind and considerate since I was very nervous. I cannot wait until I can go back for my next one.

This space is such inviting and inclusive place to get tattoo’d. Parker and Maria have worked so hard to make this a space where you can feel comfortable knowing you’ll get a tattoo you absolutely love. They’re big on consent and you can feel that during every step of the process. Couldn’t recommend more.

THIS STUDIO IS UN! BE! LIEVABLE! Not only is the space itself totally dreamy, but the artists are some of the most kind and professional folks Ive ever worked with. Parker gave me the best tattoo experience of my life last October. I had been really, REALLY picky about my design in my proposal email, and Parker happily and promptly accommodated every single one of my oddly specific requests. She fully re-worked my design with no hesitation. When I arrived at the studio and met her in person, I said Im so sorry for being so difficult and choosy about this piece, and Parker laughed and replied Dude, its your ENTIRE forearm, and youre going to have it forever. I just want you to love it! Then we straight up vibed for like seven hours and now I get to carry a gorgeous piece of art on my body forever! I have seriously never received so many compliments on a tattoo haha. You will never ever regret getting zapped by a member of this incredible team! Cant wait to come back for more from yall.

My partner got one of his tattoos here (I went for his moral support). He loves Parker and their work. Great artist, clean environment, very cool ideas for flash and art pieces. He highly recommends it. I’m looking forward to future work with the artists here!

I have had work done by both Parker and Maria here over the past year and they have been incredible. Not only are they insanely talented artists, but they make sure you feel welcome and comfortable. It’s always a great experience going into their shop, and I can’t wait to add more pieces by them again!

One of my favorite tattoo artists in Portland! Their workspace is beautiful and cleanly. Their work speaks for itself! I’ve gotten multiple tattoos from Parker and each one is perfect! Their line work and attention to detail is like no other.

This post isn’t any thing bad about Parker she is a amazing tattoo artist. This is about her assistant Danielle. I’m sure she has good communication skills, but her email was very confusing. So I got an email saying my idea was picked and the date was March 25. In the email to confirm my spot I had to email her back OR pay the deposit to confirm. So I payed the deposit and I waited and nothing. So the day of the appointment I go up to the shop I meet Parker and say I have an appointment today. And then Parker looks on her phone and says I didn’t confirm my appointment which is weird cause in the email it said I could do either to confirm. (Email OR pay the deposit). So I was double booked and another person was there for the appointment. That’s ok I go home, later that night I get an email by Danielle saying she missed the deposit and that the next open spot isn’t until August. So I’d have to wait 5 months for a mistake of an assistant. (I’m also moving out of state so I’m not going to be here in 5 months) I don’t know the whole situation was just frustrating. Again Parker’s work is amazing, it’s just the communication that is lacking.

I have tattoos from both Parker and Maria. I sport both tattoos proudly on my arms, and I want more! Both artists did a fantastic job, made the experience fun, and have one of the most beautiful tattoo studios in existence. Theyre wonderful people as well as talented artists.

I was lucky enough to be tattooed by both artists (Maria and Parker). They are friendly and were great conversation. Their shop is extremely clean and welcoming. I am so happy with the piece that I received from them and will be going back for more someday.

I’ve gotten two snake tattoos from Parker and they are some of my favorite ever! She’s incredible and super nice and so hospitable, I recommend her to everyone who comments on the beauty of my snakes. Have already made plans to go and get another tattoo from her and you should too!

I cannot recommended getting tattooed by parker enough, i loved my experience with midnight collective!i submitted my proposal through the link on her instagram page (it was so easy, which was a huge plus for me). on the day of the appointment, i was not 100% sure of the placement. Parker encouraged me to play with the stencil in the mirror to get my perfect placement, and with her expertise we settled on the perfect spot! and i cannot stress this enough, it is my favorite tattoo.

My best friend and I traveled all the way to Portland to get tattooed by Parker and I’m so glad we did!! She did my first big piece (and only so far). This was in 2018 and it’s healed beautifully, I love Parker’s work so much! I would to get another some day

I got a tattoo by Maria in March before the shutdown and she was awesome and soo friendly through the entire process. Parker was there to help make sure the stencil was on right and then Maria gave me a beautiful piece. Super cool shop, I would recommend and I am going back for another soon!

Parker has done many tattoos for me over the past few years. She is extremely talented, friendly, and professional. It’s safe to say she is my go-to artist for years to come.

I personally have never gotten tattooed by this artist or know her personally. However, by watching her artwork and tattoo studio grow over the past few years, I can say with certainty, she knows how to handle business, handles customers with professionalism, works very hard to ensure customer satisfaction, and is very clear on her FAQs page about tattoo etiquette. Keep doing you Parker.

11/10 would recommend! Parker does some really stunning work, and my piece healed super well. Super professional, super nice, and she ended up giving me a discount :) I’m in love with the start of my half sleeve and I plan on going back for more.

I had the most amazing tattoo experience at Midnight with Maria. I felt welcome, I got to see my tattoo the night before and collaborate on some small changes that of, Maria was very kind and thoughtful about my comfort and also worked very quickly and surprisingly gently. Resulted in art on my body I could not be more proud of.

A couple months ago, I got a bee tattoo here from Maria. The studio is extremely clean and aesthetically pleasing. Maria was very professional and made sure that I loved the placement/sizing of the tattoo before she started. I will definitely recommend this shop to anyone and would love to get another tattoo from any one (or all) of these talented artists!

Midnight Tattoo has many amazing reviews, which is in part why I was drawn to booking in the first place. My two main issues are:1. Scheduling / Lack of communicationBoth Parker and Maria replied to my requests saying theyd love to do take on my project. I spent 3 months trying to confirm their availability and eventually never heard back. I was later told is a sign that they are no longer interested.2. InclusivityI was interested in the POC sliding scale both Parker & Maria offer. I am fortunate enough that even though I am a POC myself, I wanted to be able to support the business in full payment. However, Parker shared my private DMs on her IG story (without my permission) when I asked about the sliding payment, which made me feel like a pawn. Although they present themselves as inclusive, it felt like Parker used my questions for personal gain, in addition to stringing me along.I do hope that others have inclusive, professional experiences and hope mine is an outlier.

I have been a big fan of this tattoo shop and finally got up the courage to schedule a flash tattoo with Parker. She was so sweet in her email and very professional. She gave me multiple dates to choose from and was very flexible. Unfortunately, covid 19 hit before I was able to get the tattoo but Im still interested and as soon as I can, I will be getting that tattoo from her!

First tattoo (and likely not my last) and I couldnt have asked for a better experience. Kind, knowledgeable, accommodating, comforting, and fun are just a few words to describe the owner and other artists here. Katrina understood my vision and executed incredibly. What an artist. Couldnt recommend this shop more.

Parker is super sweet and skilled! She does a great job making sure youre comfortable and happy with the design (I made her restencil like four times and she was totally nice about it!) She is also super knowledgable about how ink works on skin and does an excellent job persoanlizing the experience for each client. :)

Ive been tattood by parker on three separate occasions, every single time has been nothing short of the best tattoo experience. She is not only clean and professional, but she really cares about giving the best possible tattoo that she can to the individual she is working with. She cares about her art and also the person who will have it on their body forever. I have also been tattood by Jordyn and they are both just so absolutely rad and wonderful and I wouldnt want to have been tattood by anyone else. 12/10 would go back to tattoo my whole body a million times over.

Parker gave me my first and only tattoo so far.She was accommodating, and created something BEAUTIFUL for me incorporating most the elements I wanted while still making it harmonious! She made sure the stencil fit my arm perfectly by modifying it a few times. I couldnt believe the amount she got done in a short-ish amount of time.It healed perfectly.I get compliments on my tattoo daily, and absolutely plan on getting more from her in the future.Literally the only thing I would have changed is I wish I brought my laptop to watch LOTR or something to distract myself.

The tattoo I got from Maria at Midnight was my best tattoo experience - seriously! The shop is excellent at being both professional yet approachable. I was stupid nervous, but it went so smooth and I felt so heard. I def plan on coming back!

Worst tattoo experience I have ever had, period. Parker Midnight (Benayoun), is by far the least professional tattoo artist I have ever met. I sent them a proposal for a custom piece that I was very excited about, and I was so happy When they accepted! I arrived on time the day of my appointment, filled out my paperwork, got stenciled, and got a very lovely piece. Unfortunately, after returning home I realized that they had posted the design as repeatable flash (and they had posted it as such an hour or so before I even went into the studio). Again, I sent them proposal for a custom piece with very specific details and requests.At first, I tried to let it go. Then, they released a shirt and prints with the design on it, the exact same piece tattooed on my body forever. I finally decided that I should try to contact them and say something, because this clearly wasn’t something I was going to be able to get over. Upon finally reaching them, they belittled their design, called it generic and not unique enough to be considered a custom piece, and they tried to tell me that it’s the meaning I give it that makes it special, so it shouldn’t matter if they repeat they design. They proceeded to say I was attacking them to end the conversation after I asked if they would take the design off their flash and told them I would not have gotten it had I known it was going to be flash.Do not get tattooed by Parker Midnight.

I got my second tattoo done by parker about a year ago and a half ago and to this day it is still my favorite tattoo. she is extremely professional and diligent in the work that she does and the price point reflects the quality of design that you are receiving. she replied in a timely manner and it was a very easy process to set up an appointment once i read her FAQ page and had researched how to apply. i actually traveled from washington to portland to get my tattoo done because i was so eager to have it done by parker. to this day i still get compliments on the tattoo and if i ever have the opportunity to get another tattoo done at midnight i will gladly take it. 10/10 would recommend if you’re looking for a quality place that will create a beautiful work of art that you will love forever.

Parker has always been so understanding of my financial needs and has worked with me every step of the way on my sleeve so far. I now have an amazing piece of art created by a wonderful human. The talent here is seriously amazing!!!! I can’t wait to finish my sleeve.

I’ve been following Parker’s work for almost 2 years and love the beautiful line work and detail in their art. However once I saw multiple posts about the shop dogs they have in the studio I began questioning the cleanliness of the space. It’s impossible to have a truly sterile environment with dog hair and dander floating in the air.Getting a tattoo is like having an open wound. I would never allow someone to perform a medical procedure on me with the possibility of pet hair infecting the wound.I reached out using the shop website’s question form to get some clarification on hygiene and sterilization practices. My form was never responded to.Make of that what you will but I don’t feel comfortable having pets in a medical environment especially when the owner is not transparent about their sterilization practices.

Parkermidnight’s work is outstanding, groundbreaking, and a gift to anyone who is lucky enough to have it be a permanent aspect of their body. The quality of their work stands alone; it is unlike anything I have ever seen before. Absolutely breathtaking every single time. Their personality and professionalism are remarkable and I am so glad they are part of the Portland community.

Parker was so awesome! The communication was great and so was the pricing. The studio itself was so cute and comfortable. I left with an amazing tattoo and I would like to get more in the future!

The two 1-star reviews on here were left by people trying to harass the business owners. There is a reason their books are always full — they are some of the very best artists in the PNW, who treat their customers, social media followers, and neighbors with nothing but respect.

I swore I would NEVER get a tattoo... until I saw the enormity of talent that was coming from this artist. I was made to feel relaxed and at home, treated to a professional experience. I couldn’t be happier with the gorgeous work of art that I received!! I highly recommend this studio.
