Jeff is top notch and I am certain I will be back to his shop for all my future tattoos.My experience was pleasant, welcoming, accommodating, and professional.His shop is beautifully put together. It was clean and comfortable.His work is breathtaking. Both his tattoos, paintings, and drawings.I can’t wait to go back in August to finish my in process tattoo!

My first tattoo experience was great with Jeff. He was easy to schedule with and great at walking me through to steps. I love my tattoo and would go back. Hi co worker Ozzy the dog was an added bonus.

My friend recommended I check this place out for excellent tattoos in Portland and I sure did! Getting an appointment was smooth and easy, and Jeff was very patient, making sure I was happy with the piece we ended up going with after discussing several ideas and interpretations for the final version. Jeff was great, he tattooed myself and 3 other family members of a tattoo honoring a late family member. He was able to fit all of us in at the same time and get it done very quickly. His shop was also very nice and clean and we all loved his dog Ozzie. Would definitely go back, 5/5.

One of the best tattoo shops I’ve been to in Maine. Jeff is a knowledgeable, understanding, and friendly tattoo artist who I can trust to take my ideas and turn them into an amazing tattoo. Being a young woman getting tattoos, he’s always made me feel 100% comfortable throughout the process. His shop is also extremely clean and the decorations are awesome as well. I chose Scorpio Rising/Jeff to do two large pieces on the back of my legs after seeing his work on Instagram- he did not disappoint.1. His shop is one of my favorites that I have been in, you can see all of his paintings and work (that I am always impressed by) but most importantly Ozzie! Overall a very cozy and inviting space.2. I really appreciate the extra thought and consideration Jeff used when he was working on the back of my thighs- it was painful, but he was efficient and worked with intent.3. The quality is worth every dollar spent, my work looks just like the photos and I don’t go more than a day when I’m wearing a skirt or shorts receiving a compliment.4. Personality wise a very inviting and great conversationalist or if I wanted to sit in silence also 10/10.I’ve been in a handful of shops around Maine and had work done, it’s great when quality, comfort and experience come together.

He was able to squeeze me in because he had a last minute cancellation and from the email correspondence to consultation to the actual tattooing- he was very pleasant to work with. It was my first time getting a tattoo but he was very patient and told me I was doing great even though I was talking A LOT to calm myself down. I would be super annoyed if I was Jeff. Got my first tattoo from Jeff last January. He was awesome, super cool guy who worked really fast and was very easy to work with. Jeff hooked me up with a same day appointment on short notice since I was leaving town and cooked up an amazing custom piece based on a design I had. He spent a lot of time perfecting it, staying true to the design while making it his own, with great detail and some additional symbolism we discussed throughout his drafting. Final piece came out great and was super affordable. I’m from 2 hours away but grabbed his card and will be in touch to work again.
