The Black Hexagon

I visited Black Hexagon with a friend on Friday the 13th to get a flash tattoo from Nicole. It was my first visit to the shop, and I really enjoyed the place. Immediately, Lynette (sp?) showed us excellent hospitality at the counter. My friend actually selected one of Lynettes flash, and she was so patient during the sizing and placement process. When it was my turn to get tattooed, Nicole was really charming and personable -- chatting when I was up for it and quiet when I was gritting my teeth (that Achilles tendon is spicy, yall!). She banged out a very cool and fairly sizable tattoo in about an hour, and I couldnt be more pleased. I dont normally go in for flash since I like big, comprehensive pieces (and, to be frank, a lot of flash just isnt good, in my not so humble opinion), but I may even go back for more on Halloween, the selection and service was that great. Black Hexagon has a great atmosphere with a great staff, and Id recommend it especially to tattoo enthusiasts who like things dark and wicked.

The shop alone is amazing. It’s clean and the staff are all very open and inviting. I got a flash piece done by Medusa and she is phenomenal! Her art is incredible on its own but she was also just fun to work with. I can’t wait to go back for my future pieces too.

Really cool place, all the folks are super friendly, everythings nice and clean, and the artists are amazing at what they do. Highly recommend. Im extremely happy with my new tattoo from Nicole Renee🤙🏽
