I love this place. I have been going here for the past two years and love the wide selection of jewelry. Alethea, who has been my piercer for a while, is knowledgeable, kind, and frankly knows exactly what she’s doing. She will dazzle you with all of the pretty sparkly piercings that just fit perfectly in your ear. She is a very skilled piercer and it is always a treat when I get to see her. If you happen to wander into this shop I HIGHLY recommend getting a piecing done by any of these talented piecers.

Had a great experience getting a second lobe piercing with Alethea, she was so nice and took the time to make sure everything was perfect. Jewelry here was a little more expensive than what you might find at other shops but it was also nicer looking too, so I was happy to pay more for a piece I actually want. Wouldnt hesitate to come back here for additional piercings (and probably will!). HIGHLY recommend making an appointment, theyre a popular shop (for good reason) so wait times can be high.

Super kind staff. I have been to a studio in Portland and in SF, and this was the MOST I’ve paid to change the studs on my helix. Way more expensive than I expected!The process took longer than the other studios and it was more stressful. Ultimately, they gave me wayyy too short of a stud length that my ear swelled, impeding the healing process.I wouldn’t recommend.

I visited DV8 today to downsize my nostril piercing & purchase/install a new septum piece. Emma who helped me today was wonderful & took her time showing me pieces and installing my jewelry. The staff at DV8 are truly exceptional & their passion for their craft shows. Thanks again!

I have had my ears done at other places and this place is by FAR my favorite. The staff is super nice and very accommodating. Their selection of jewelry is off the wall, especially their new collection Au Adore. Jane specifically curated my ears and she is very knowledgeable. I would 100% Recommend going here!

Alethea is absolutely wonderful! She pierced my nostril 8 months a go and did a fantastic job. She was so nice and really took her time to make sure the placement and everything was correct. My piercing healed quickly and perfectly. I just went back over the weekend to switch to a hoop and happened to have Alethea again. Once again, she was just wonderful. I can’t recommend her enough!

They are the best and saved my piercings. I have two cartilage piercings. One of which was done FOUR times over the years and would just never heal. The second piercing was also done somewhere else. Both had tons of issues and caused a lot of pain. I went and saw them last year and they recommend I take the second one out because a keloid had formed and let it heal and then come back for it to be redone. They changed the jewelry in the oldest on and within in a week for the first time in 15 years it didn’t hurt anymore. They use top quality everything there and I can’t speak highly enough of them and their services. Worth every dollar!!

My cousin and I planned to get matching avocado tattoos. We were matched with a great tattoo artist. She was so awesome. Pony designed exactly what we asked for. It was my first tattoo so I extremely nervous. She made me feel very comfortable and before I knew it she was done. My cousin and I cant stop looking at are tattoos. We seriously had a great time.

I always have an amazing time getting pierced here and love the passion that each team member brings to the experience. I initially found this shop looking for local APP members and am so beyond happy that I did, Ive been coming her for years now. Jane has been creating masterpieces on my ears with her attention to detail. I recommend this place to anyone who asks!

Very happy with DV8.I had gotten my ears pierced as a teenager at one of the shops in the mall. Never really able to enjoy wearing earring because all of them irritated my ears.Rick took the time to educate me on how to make my ears more accepting to earrings. He taught me about how they become irritated when we move around a new piercing rather than letting it heal and scar correctly.He was able to put in earrings that will help my ears do that. In about 6 months I expect them to be ready for new earrings. For once in my life, Im 49, my ears have earrings in both of the double piercings and arent irritated.I highly recommend the people at DV8.Everyone was helpful and kind. From the person helping ringing me up, to the owner Rick and everyone in between.Also, they have a wide selection of choices for jewelry and Rick is a jewelry designer.

I can’t talk enough about Angelina and her work! I’ve gotten three pieces done by her since she first started at dv8 and I’ve loved every one of them! She puts her heart into each piece and made sure I loved what she had drawn up and took extra care making sure she laid everything down perfectly to look best on my body . She’s also the sweetest, easiest person to talk and checked in regularly to make sure I was comfortable through all of my sessions. These were the biggest works I’d personally gotten done and she made all the experiences wonderful and as stress free as you can make a tattoo. I couldn’t recommend her enough!

Kristy pierced my septum at Dv8 today and it could not have been a better experience. I made an appointment online that day, was greeted warmly, and was walked through the whole experience in a respectful and patient way. Kristy placed my ring beautifully the first time and Im grateful for her expertise. I will be returning here in the future for other ways to decorate and celebrate my body. Thanks again Kristy!

Came in to get a nostril piercing and had a great experience! This was my first piercing so I was pretty nervous but the person who did my piercing, Kristy, was so sweet, helpful, and professional! The whole staff there was really nice and welcoming. My piercing barely hurt at all and I got a lot of helpful information about aftercare. Definitely will be coming back!

Probably my 8th or so time in to DV8 over the years. I’ve had wonderful experiences with Jane, Rick and the whole team, and today met Nikey who was equally wonderful to work with in helping me make some piecing jewelry adjustments! Beautiful jewelry selections!Nikey was absolutely wonderful in helping me safely remove and reinstall 9 piercings for an MRI. Super detailed and gentle! Looking forward to coming back and adding to my ear collection soon.

My rating is for the jewelry side. Everything is way overpriced. But my issue is if I’m buying a $400 earring what do you mean it doesn’t come with a back? That’s extra 10-20$. And then when I asked if she could put it in my ear that’s another $10? I feel like when your spending that much money they should put it in for free. I’ve only bought jewelry from a few places but I’ve never been charged before.

Amazing piercing staff. Super patient and takes time to make sure its done right. Their jewelry is beautiful but youre going to pay the price tag of real gold and diamond set. They have affordable titanium options as well. Staff provides amazing after care instructions and I didnt feel rushed to get out of the chair for the next client. I was able to get all my questions answered. Definitely will be back, just need to save up some monies for the beautiful jewelry.

Ive had the best experience both times Ive been to Dv8 tattoo and piercing!! Ive worked with Justene and Jessica! Both are amazingly talented women. They have made me feel very welcomed and comfortable while both doing beautiful tattoos! Beyond excited to have their work on my body!!

I went there for helix and hidden helix piercings and it was the best decision of my life- i couldn’t be happier with the results and jewelry pieces! The staff is beyond friendly and made me feel so comfortable, they were so thorough with knowing exactly what i wanted both in placement and with price ranges and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. 10/10 recommend!

I go here for ALL my piercing and jewelry needs. The studio is professional, clean, and has their own in-house stunning jewelry collection. I always leave more than happy with my experience. All of my piercings have been done by Kristy, I highly recommend! We always have a great time mapping and brainstorming our jewelry ideas. I have always loved piercings but have struggled with healing them. Luckily with Kristy’s expertise and the high quality jewelry DV8 offers, I have been able to build my dream ear curation.

Went here to get a tattoo done by Justene. Let me start off by saying the staff there is very welcoming and very friendly. Justene was easy going and held great conversation. Her work speaks for itself. I’m blown away by the tattoo she did for me. If I could give more than five stars I would. I highly recommend and will be a client for life.

Sterling Nilsen is our familys tattoo artist. He does AMAZING WORK!! This tattoo is just the beginning of the piece. When it is finished it will be AWESOME, because look at the INCREDIBLE detail work.

My friend and I went on Friday the 13th for the flash tattoos that Justene had designed. While we were waiting I decided to get a septum piercing. I wish I could remember the name of the girl that was helping us out but she was amazing! She set me up with Courtney, who did an amazing job for my first facial piercing! Courtney was so sweet and checked in with me and had me looking amazing. Then we got to our tattoos! Justene was so sweet and easy to chill with. great energy all around and she knocked those tattoos out QUICK! Overall, an amazing place to go, everyone there is super friendly and kind and very knowledgeable about everything related to body modifications! Check them out!

So happy I came here! Even though I am a middle-aged lady, this was my first piercing, and a super big deal! The decor was much nicer than expected. Sterilization is transparent. All jewelry is biocompatible. Best part was Kristy and staff were so supportive--patient while I picked out the earrings, and understood how momentous this was for me. Overall, a great experience!

Its such a nice place to walk into! I went in for a septum piercing with Nicole, and she was so sweet. She helped me go over all the options for which jewelry piece would fit me best (size and personal style). She was very thorough in her sterilization, and her explanation of each step that would take place. She chatted with me during the process, and always checked in with me to make sure I was alright. She was so awesome and Im so happy with the result!

I had my cheekbone dermal removed by Rick and he made it a quick and confident experience. I had called other piercing places near by and all of them had said that they may need to cut an incision to release the piece. Rick was confident he wouldnt have to do that and that he had other methods of massaging the piece safely out. That made me feel more comfortable going there, knowing it wasnt his go to to cut and once there I knew I had made the right choice. His experience and thorough, professional vibes were really appreciated. I was definitely not looking forward to having a piece cut out near my eye, so I am so grateful that I went with Rick, as he made the whole experience virtually painless, quick, super clean and comforting. Definitely go here if youre looking for a good piercer. They also have a ton a beautiful quality jewelry.

My 10 year old got her ears pierced and we had the best experience. She really wanted to get them done but was so nervous in the lead up. Our tech Nicole talked to her and got her to calm down enough to get it done. They did a tandem piercing so she only had to go through it once and it worked out so well. My daughter is so happy with her earrings and weve had no problems at all with infections or pain. I highly recommend Dv8.

I called ahead for a piercing consultation as I had gotten my lobes done at another shop a few years ago but the process didnt go too well. I came here because I wanted to re-pierce my lobes to get started on stretching and it was a very comfortable process! I had Althea and she did a wonderful job not only making sure I was comfortable (I was anxious and have a low pain tolerance) but she was also happy to answer my questions. I had a great experience and will absolutely come again for future piercings and/or stretching! :)

Rick is an AMAZING piercer and person. I impulsively (like all great things) wanted my VCH pierced and he did a phenomenal job. It healed so fast and I had no bruising, swelling, or excessive bleeding. It’s perfectly straight and it was completely professional and I felt comfortable and safe in his care. I came back after the 40 day healing period to have him change the balls to these beautiful opal ones and I’m just in love. Lacey is also a very kind receptionist and this location has QUALITY jewelry and kind souls. I love them and so should you!

Chris butchered my body with a disappointing mash up tattoo when I asked for a coverup. I spent almost 1k for ignorance IF I WANTWD TO ADD ON TO THE ORIGINAL PIECE ID HAVE GONE ELSEWHERE AND WOULD HAVE ASKED FOR THAT SPECIFICALLY. I tried calling the owner and Chris to work it out but they kept rescheduling last minute no communication. Highly disappointed. Not only was it not what I asked for but he couldnt even stay in line with a mag 😭

Loved how thorough and informative everyone was here! It was my first time getting my nose pierced and my piercer Marshall made it a great and welcoming experience. It was easy to trust him and he walked me through the whole process, which really eased my nerves. It was also obvious how much they took great care into making sure all of the jewelry was handled with care and cleanliness. So much jewelry to choose from as well. Would definitely come back here again for future piercings.

My daughter had her ears pierced here for the first time. Rick was super friendly and made the process very easy. The jewelry is pretty expensive for what it is, but all good piercing places really make their money this way. In the final analysis, we were happy to pay for the expertise.

Jane did a cluster piercing for me and it was such a great experience. She took her time to go through the placing options I had and also made sure I was 100% happy with the way it looked. She did the same when it came to the jewelry that I was going to be getting for my new look. I was nervous about getting 3 piercings but she talked me through it and made sure I was ok every step of the way. To my surprise the pain was extremely minimal. I have to take the time to mention how clean the place is as well as how comfortable I felt while I was there. This place isnt like the other tattoo and piercing shops. This is a classy well decorated place. There are beautiful chandeliers throughout, the place is brightly lit, and the furniture is minimal. The jewelry selection is the most elegant and extensive by far. If you are looking for a piercing that you will cherish, a clean, sterile shop, and elegant jewelry, with friendly, knowledgeable, staff, then this is your place. Jane will be the one I go to for all my future piercings!

I had them pierce an upper helix and two forward helixes. The staff was patient and very fun to work with. Took time with me and made sure I loved my placement and new jewelry ❤️. I am extremely happy and will be going back!

Marshall was very knowledgeable and took my daughter through every step of the piercing. He made sure she fully understood everything he was doing and went through the aftercare steps and expectations and answered all questions we had. We highly recommend him for all piercings!

While the jewelry prices do seem to be a tad high, its definitely quality. Ive never had any problems with any of their jewelry or piercers. Employees are nice and easy to talk to, very friendly. Recommend to go here for piercings, go early if possible to avoid it getting busier.

Scheduled an appointment online and made a note that I had previously had my belly button pierced. They texted me to schedule appointment and mentioned it again. She said “that’s no problem at all”. I show up and remind her and she said oh we won’t be able to do it without even looking at it. I was upset since I wasted my time going out there when I specifically mentioned it before scheduling. She looks at it for half a second and said “no way can I pierce this. Your belly button isn’t shaped properly and should never have been pierced to begin with.” Then proceeded to tell me that only 1/4 of the belly buttons in the world have “proper anatomy” for piercing. She was incredibly rude about it. I left and went to another shop who looked at it and said there was no reason it couldn’t be pierced. They pierced it and it looks great and is healing well. 100% would not recommend this place.

Nothing but good energy coming from this shop. Upon walking in, I felt welcomed and valued. The piercing experience provided by Rick was extremely professional, and an all-around easy experience. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about his craft. Both his wife and apprentice Lahanna were also really rad and fun to chat with. Shop is clean, and really a beautiful shop. They offer the best of the best jewelry to put in your body, and have such an incredible selection. Remember you pay for what you get! Quality shop right here!

I cannot speak highly enough about tattoo artist Chris Cary. I went to Chris with the intention of getting a large piece on my left arm which evolved into a full sleeve. The work is AMAZING. The artwork itself is gorgeous and the execution is impeccable; crispy fine line work, beautiful contrast, solid shading and vibrant, even color work. I couldnt be more pleased and cant wait to collaborate on another piece with Chris!

Let me start off by saying that the inside of this shop is absolutely beautiful! We took our daughter to get her ears pierced for her first time and it was such a positive and calming atmosphere. Marshall is the piercer that did her ears. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. He talked her through every step that he was doing so she knew what to expect and when to expect it. She was nervous going in and he made her feel comfortable. As a mother I wanted to take her somewhere that would not only explain everything in detail but also make her feel comfortable and that is why I decided to take her to DV8 to get her ears pierced.

2021 I went and got my nose pierced by a traveling artist. Wonderful experience.Today, June 7th 2022, I booked a consultation with April via text. I showed up at 540 for a 6pm consultation. I was told she forgot and went home. They said I could call her, schedule an appointment and put a deposit down. So why did I have to get a babysitter for four kids after work to come in for something that could be done over the phone. Accidents happen but there was NO effort from April to come in like I had to. Frustrated. Wont return.

My 8 yo daughter came here to get here ear lobes pierced after wanting them pierced for over a year and the whole experience was amazing. We saw Jessica and she definitely was good with kids, explained every step of the way and respected my daughter and made her feel safe. She was absolutely amazing. They sterilized everything and everything was Covid-safe. It is not cheap though. It is $20/lobe which wasn’t bad, but then when you add jewelry, backings, after care solution, and tip, it was just shy of $200 which I absolutely was not expecting, lol. Just caught me off guard but I have no experience with this… You do have to bring your child’s birth certificate and proof of your own ID and you take pics of both and upload it to their consent form. Overall, very happy customer!! She recommended we go back in a month to get the posts shortened which will be $40 more. Also, didn’t know this, but it is recommended not to swim in pools (chlorine) or dirty water (like a river) for at LEAST a month but preferred more like 3 months. You can’t take posts out for 3 months minimally. Just so much I didn’t know ahead of time.

Such a good experience! I previously got my nose pierced at another shop, many years ago and my experience was night and day.At Dv8, everything is super clean and well kept. You can see them sterilize their tools and all the jewelry is handled by gloved hands.They automatically email a copy of your release and after care instructions, which was awesome.The owner and staff were super friendly and helpful.Would DEFINITELY recommend going here!

Im just disappointed. Rick was nice, mostly. It was nice to learn my previous ear lobe piercings werent closed.The brunette was very cold, and there was also a blonde lady behind the desk who seemed literally terrified. The prices of the jewelry seemed very high. Ive never had to pay for two parts of an earring. The earring is confusing and they didnt tell me how to remove it when I want to change it. The experience just left me feeling sad and $140 poorer. Wont go back, Ill have to go somewhere else to help with taking off these piercings I guess.Update: I figured out how to get the earrings out. I purchased new ones because they are he said he would leave room for swelling. Which didnt happen. They got caught on my clothes, hair, etc. Just a giant waste of money.

It’s been many, many years since I have gotten a piercing. I was excited to get my septum pierced but I wasn’t looking forward to the first part. That part where I’m not too sure how it works and I have a bunch of questions and feel like a nuisance to my piercer. Fortunately for me, Marshall was working and he is very patient, kind and understanding. He answered all my questions and showed me all my options efficiently and quickly. My 3 year old and husband were with me and they were all very friendly to them as well.My experience was awesome and surprisingly painless. I will definitely come back for my all my piercing needs!

Althea was our piercer for my 8 year old’s first piercing. My daughter showed obvious signs of being nervous and Althea handled her, well, like a loving mom! She walked her through every single step of the process then, when the time came, she and (I’m sorry, I forget your name!) pierced her ears tandem so she only had “one” big poke moment. Definitely made my girl’s birthday one for the memory bank!

Marshall pierced my septum perfectly. I had it pierced in the past at a different shop but hated the placement. I informed Marshall of what I wanted and he informed me of what was necessary as far as anatomy and being able to flip the ring up, so we met in the middle and I love it. The shop is clean, I’ve had zero complications in regards to healing, and had a good experience. Fairly priced, $30 for piercing and $35 for jewelry (3/8” ended up being the best size for my nose) which I can’t wait to change once it’s healed more.👩🏽‍🦱👍🏽

My Cover up doesnt cover up anything!! And Chris went out of line multiple times. I asked to cover red ink and he incorporated it in with the new piece !!I payed hundreds for something I didnt want ! And when I asked to see him bc he also went to deep and the tattoo is scaring he is almost always too busy. And kept telling me to come at a different time Highly disappointed

Worst experience. Unprofessional. Update your website with requirements. We traveled 40 minutes for an appt to be told via text 15 min prior of the appt time of age and documentation requirements which were no where on your website, booking application or booking confirmation. The age requirement of 6 years also makes absolutely no sense.

I really did not want to give a poor review because I love this place and have been a loyal client since 2016. But this is the first time in 5 years I been turned away. I went in today to get my piercing changed to a new jewelry piece and the girl behind the counter basically told me that I would have to wait until Rick (the owner) was in later that week in order to provide me with the appropriate jewelry options. I was very taken aback by this comment, because she pretty much told me she was not confident in her own abilities to provide me the correct gauge size…yet she works there. I don’t know, I was very confused. She clearly had no idea what she was doing and thus wasn’t able to help me out or even attempt to sell me a jewelry piece, something which I would have been more understanding of if she had explained she was new, but she didn’t. If that is the case, then the shop should not be left under the supervision of an amateur who has no clue what they are doing. They should be focusing more on the quality of their service rather than the quality of their items. If I have to wait around for the owner to be available in order for me to purchase a piece—let alone get pierced—they should advertise their hours accordingly. Otherwise it is a waste of time.

Got my ear doubles re-pierced here, and the piercer was professional and quick, didnt hurt a bit! Was in and out in a jiff, and the piercings healed up rapidly with no complications. My only complaint is that the price for the jewelry was a bit high, everything else was great!

I came in to DV8 after doing some extensive searching for an artist in the area to do an ornamental/ mandala piece.I found Liz and really liked her style. After giving her a sketch and description of my ideas, she brought it to life on paper. That was going to be my first tattoo.On that day, I was there about 6 hours just getting tattooed. The facility is a clean, hip environment. The staff are all laid back, fun, and knowledgeable. They love what they do and are all advocates of each other and each others work.Its almost 2 years later now and Im still getting complements all the time on the tattoo as if I just got it.Keep up the great art, Liz!!

Ive only been to piercing side thus far, TEN STARS!!! I will never go anywhere else ever again. Marshall is the only person I trust to bedazzle me. The products they use are ON POINT! There is a large selection of BEAUTIFUL jewelry. The staff are so knowledgeable, professional, courteous & will take the time to to go over every little thing you will ever need to know about a piercing. Not to mention they are SO passionate about their work! Ill be referring everybody here forever!

Do not come here they will not do what you come in for. First I was told they won’t pierce me, but still charged me for the appointment. Then I wait 3 hours for a tattoo for them to tell me they can’t do it.eta since the shop is lying in response: the piercer 100% charged me for the appointment that she did absolutely nothing in, nothing is free at dv8! She also said my piercing was pierced with a naval ring but that she didn’t have anything to swap it out with…? You don’t carry navel rings?? (It was a 12g internally threaded bent VCH bar that I was pierced with.. not a 14g naval ring)Especially after their lying in response to make themselves look better, I do not recommend.

Love the shop. Got my daith done a few days ago and the whole experience was great. Marshall was wonderful, explained everything i needed to know about the piercing and aftercare. He really makes sure youre well informed and comfortable during the process. Will definitely be back again and I wish I had done all my piercings here.

Got my ear pierced there over a year ago, very VERY overpriced. Not good customer service at all and now my ear piercing got infected and their shop has not contacted me back at all to help me remove the earring. Would never go back there or recommend them to anyone.

The shop and the customer service is excellent but the prices they charge are basically scam worthy. 158 dollars for the cheapest thing in the store that you can normally get for 30 at the same quality in another shop. To add on to this issue, I was instructed to return to the shop to get even more work done by getting my posts swapped. When I went to Emerald tattoo and piercing (because no one at dv8 answered my calls) they told me that the post swap was completely unnecessary. It was all a very frustrating process.

I was impressed all around by my visit! A fantastic price for services and products. The customer service by all the employees was some of the best Ive seen as they were genuinely interested in making sure my visit went well and all questions and concerns were taken care of.They are really accessible for walk-in business and it doesnt take long until youre served. I was glad to find a tattoo shop that was organized and knew what they were doing.

I went in for a chest dermal and an ear piercing. Both of them were done wrong. It was expensive for the piercing and the anchor and they didnt use the one I wanted. They used a flat anchor not the one they showed me. No holes in it for the skin to attach to. At first it was fine. No bleeding, no swelling. I cleaned it and took care of it. Then it started to migrate and get swollen pushing up on one side after months. It was not rejecting but it was lose and was not healing after having it for 6 months no problem. 2 months of swelling on top of that until I decided to take it out. Very upset for wasting 120$ for the dermal and had to pay someone else 40$ to remove it. Now I have to wait 3 months for it to heal and get it repierced properly and pay for it.

One of the most professional and clean places. Marshall is awesome! He takes the time to see if the piercing would work with how that part of your body is; instead of just taking your money and doing the piercing. I will be returning here for any future piercings! Highly recommended!

I had a dermal that I needed tightening. I took a chance just driving there before opening hours. They were open by appointment only so I called, made an appointment, and was able to get in an hour later. I was impressed with how large and clean the place was. Everyone was very friendly, masked up, & obvious covid Safety precautions in order. The whole paper process was done over your phone with a scan app. My piercer was very professional & friendly. My dermal was retightened And the whole process took less than 15 minutes. I will definitely keep this place in mind Should I have any other piercing needs in the future. Sidenote they have a huge jewelry selection of beautiful pieces to choose from.

I absolutely love this place! My artist Marshall, was very informed and helpful when he pierced my ear. He knew exactly what products and metals not to use, and was able to give me tips on how to care for my ear properly. Not only that but he was a really cool guy to talk to as well. Honestly I would suggest anyone to go to this place for a piercing or tattoo! Its the best.😁

We had a girls week and the four of us decided we wanted out noises pierced. We called and they told us to come on in. Rick was the one to do it piercings and he was AMAZING!!!!! He was very patient answering our questions and explaining the jewelry options and aftercare. All of the staff was welcoming, extremely kind, and very helpful. Body piercing- They were pretty nice at first. The hours really irritated me because they are not correct in the website and do not show the lunch times. I went 2 times and both times I got sent home because they were either closed or at lunch. The man ( I believe the manager/ owner of the piercings) kind of talked to me like I was stupid which made me feel bad, but I still got my pero omg there. The piercing was great, I would just say customer service not so much

In my experience with DV8 there are pros and cons.Pros: Very friendly and attentive staff, I was treated like I mattered and what I wanted mattered, I never felt rushed, and the jewelry is beautiful and they say its top quality.Cons: the jewelry is very expensive (I spent almost $300 just on 3 pieces) and they dont give you anything thats says what karate gold it is or what metals or stone it is like a jewelry store does. Also infection control is questionable (both my piercings got infected right after being done within 2-3 days). The only piercings Ive had that got infected, my fault? Maybe. Its a mystery, but I took care of it they way they told me to and only used their after care piercing spray. They do wear gloves but I watched them touch all kinds of stuff while wearing them and I never saw my piercer wash his hands. Yes I shouldve said something before he got all up in my nose but I told myself that I was over reacting and to just relax....shouldnt have done that.My piercing infection resolved after using Claires aftercare solution and neosporin.Also its cool that the owner is into designing and making jewelry BUT a piece I bought from him and had him alter literally broke on my way home. I think he just shaved it down too thin and the top decorative part separated from the part that goes through my nose. There went $80 and my fav piece that I bought from there. Would be nice if they would offer some more economically priced jewelry.At the end of the day I feel like I shouldve gone somewhere else even though I really liked the staff there and how friendly they were. So 3 stars instead of 2 because their customer service is top notch.**update**Just got my nose jewelry swapped out by a piercer at another shop. He literally made me feel like he was ripping my nose. It hurt so bad involuntary tears were streaming down my face. And it was just a jewelry swap! So I added another star for DV8 as they are SO gentle and never made me feel that much pain even amidst an infected and sensitive piercing.

I was a walk in today so I had to wait about an hr or 2 but boy oh boy it was so worth it. Not only does Rick make you feel welcomed and oh so comfortable, he explains everything to you about the procedure. He knows what hes doing and does it good. My Daith piercing DID NOT HURT ONE SINGLE BIT !!! I would definitely recommend going here for any and all your piercing needs. He has a huge selection of body jewelry. You will not be disappointed!!!!

I had an appointment scheduled with Jay today at 11. After showing up over an hour late and spending almost another hour waiting for the stencil to be drawn/printed/placed, this tattoo is disappointing to say the least. I was very open about the tattoo and was totally open to suggestions. I just wanted something simple, nothing with a bunch of detail. I had initially wanted bands around the snake, we removed the bands and I would expect more time to be dedicated to the snake itself. The cost of the tattoo was $250, not including tip, and only about an hour in the chair. I was blindsided by the initial excitment and upon getting home and spending more time looking at the tattoo, the more inconsistencies I find. This thing is filled with inconsistencies. Choppy linework, a poorly done eye, and the stomach of the snake stops abruptly in the middle where the snake crosses over itself. There were no issues sitting and no reason more time couldnt have been put into the tattoo. The website says that all hourly rates are dependent on each individual tattooer. For $250+ and about an hour in the chair, this tattoo was novice at best.

Im so glad I picked this place for my double microdermal. Marshall was great. He went through all the pros and Cons with me even though there was a chance that I would change my mind, which I didnt. He explained the whole thing from start to finish before we even started. He even gave some history on the piercing. He was very reassuring throughout the whole process, always asking if I was okay. I had minimal bruising afterwards. Thank God no black eyes. I am completely satisfied with my piercings and with DV8 tattoo and body piercing. I would definitely recommend them to other customers. And if I decide to get anything else I will definitely go back to Marshall.

A few months ago I had my daith pierced by Rick. He did an amazing job. Walked me through everything. My earing was beautiful. And they were incredibly clean and sterile, which is so important. I had a problem with the stones in my earing and had to take it back in today (Manufacturers issue not theirs). Rick was so nice and apologetic and replaced the problem piece with an even prettier one. Was my first time meeting Marshall as well and he was very nice and professional also. He helped get my earing just right! Definitely recommend them both. And you cant forget Jane. She is so sweet and has a great eye for beautiful jewelry! Thanks for the great experience! I will definitely recommend you to all my friends!

Went in for my first tattoo with Kristie. She was very helpful and answered all of my questions before we started. She was very professional and did an amazing job.When Im ready for another I will definitely be going back.

I went in to get a nostril piercing this evening and I am leaving extremely disappointed in how much I spent. The nostril piercing was 25 which is fine, I told the lady at the desk when she showed me extremely expensive jewelry that I did not wanna spend more than $40-$50 on a piercing for my nose. So she shows me the cheapest jewelry apparently which is $30?? so after tax my total is $57 and I’m thinking, this is a rip off. I’m just gonna tip on top of the piercing itself ($25) but when I am given the screen to tip I had a tip on the overall total of $57 for a single nose stud?? My total was almost $70 and I feel extremely ripped off and taken advantage of, most likely will not ever come back to this establishment...

Dv8 is such a high quality establishment! The staff were all so friendly and helpful. And they were very patient and kind with my 11 year old as she got her ears pierced! Jane was also very knowledgeable!

I got my 1st tattoo on probably what others might say would be the worst day of the year to get it BUT that couldnt be any further from the truth or reality!! I had phoned in a few days before and spoke to a very helpful artist and was given good advice on getting there early..which I did..and to be prepared to be waiting longer than normal...which was fine with me considering they were drastically reducing their prices for all of us Friday the 13th patrons..Joshua was the artist who I was lucky enough to get...he was so kind and patient and I had brought my own simple design..and he put it on me perfectly!! It didnt even hurt! I will most assuredly be coming back to this shop for my next tattoos to follow. ** Special shout out to the strangers who were gathered around the place for making me feel welcomed 😜. Disappointing. This place has potential, but my experience here wasnt good. I waited 35 to 40 minutes just for someone to help me find a part of an earring that I needed. The person who greeted me seemed very unprofessional. He was talking about how hung over he was from the night before with his coworkers and he was swearing loudly and often. I really dont care if people swear, but this was excessive and very unprofessional to the point where it was uncomfortable and could be easily heard across the entire store. Again, this place looks nice and seems like it could be good for some people. But that just wasnt the case for me.

I was a walk in on Saturday for daith piercing I waited about 1/2 hour. I had Marshall do my piercing and he helped me pick out my Jewelry and was very patient with me. He went over the after care instructions in great detail before doing the piercing so I knew what I was getting into. I had done my research online and I had been told that depending on the person doing the piercing it could be very painful.I will say I had not additional discomfort than I did when getting a normal ear piercing. I didnt have any paid yesterday or today except when I cleaned it other wise no pain or discomfort;. I was even able to sleep on it.I am extremely happy with my piercing and with Marshall and the clean and sterile shop that DV8 Tattoo and Piercing is. If I get another one I will be back and I will tell others about you Marshall.

Lest start with this google review this is rigged it won’t let me give them 0 stars.I called this place too get two REGULAR ear piercings, I repeat REGULAR nothing to crazy the girl on the phones must have been selling me 9k diamond earring cuz she was wanting to charge me 150$ for both ears. What a joke Emerald tattoos right down the street did the same work maybe even a better job for 40$. this business must be really struggling charging so much for basic sterling silver earrings. P.s they charge separately as in 20$ for the font and 25 dollars for the back of the earring!! the piercing it’s self 25$. What a joke icing and Walmart charge 15$ for both ears and you get the sterling silver jewelry.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience! Went to get my belly pierced, Rick was amazing, made it go by quick and guided me through everything I needed to know. I absolutely suggest this place to everyone, rad people are working there!!!

I have been coming here for years now to get piercings. Everything is super hygenic and the metals are high quality. My piercings look and feel great and have healed up nicely!

The guy who does the piercing here has been such a grump every time I have gone in (over a few years). Plus, each time I go in he treats me as if he is better then me, as if any question I have is a waste of his time. Further, they dont always have stock for jewelry.

Marshall is gentle and very calming! He consulted with our teens for their conch piercings and helped them pick out their jewelry. We were in and out in less than an hour. We will be back!

Would not recommend - and I never even got to go in! Emailed one of their artists on Oct. 4th. Two weeks go by and I call the shop directly and ask to speak with that artist, thinking maybe he didnt receive my email ( I was directed to email him by another artist by the way). I was told he wasnt in for the next couple of days but would get a call after the weekend (I called on a thursday). Another week goes by and still nothing. I call again and the guy I spoke with told me that artist wasnt in and doesnt know when he will be but that I should get a call. Im a little irritated at this point so I ask if there is another artist that is willing to work with me and I was told no, that the artist I messaged was the best one for what I wanted. A month and a half later and I still havent received a phone call or email from that artist. Honestly, would not recommend solely based off of this experience.They apparently dont need the new clientele and dont care about wasting your time. Would leave no stars if I could!

I booked an appointment for my first tattoo with one of the artist. I showed up for my appointment on time and he never showed up. It was very disappointing. Thankfully the owner Rick was kind about the situation and gave me my deposit back.

I have went here for my nose, nipples ,tongue, three helixes, soon to be 4 forward helixes, and my industrial bar piercings. Rick and his wife Jane are absolutely amazing! Oh did I mention I’ve added the nipples, industrial, tongue and forward helixes after I moved out of state to Nevada. I come down just for them!

I went to buy jewelry. The women were very sweet and helpful when I wanted to pick out jewelry. They even offer to put your jewelry in for you. Super sweet

I went on Friday 13th after work. It was packed (which I completely understood) I was told by Liz I could stay and wait to see if I can get my tattoo done but there was no guarantee, I could stay or I could come back later around 11pm to see how slow it was, she expressed she was trying to leave by 12am (it was 7:30pm, she also said some of the guest may end up leaving so that could be in my favor. I decided to wait. I saw the clipboard and asked should I put my name on it, Liz expressed oh, no you dont have to put your name on it. So I waited around. People came and went. After walking around for a little while I would see others come in and were told they couldnt get it done, too many people were already waiting and many of the artist were busy and wont be able to get to them. This one in particular young lady was disappointed but apparently stayed. About an 1 1/2 hours later it had emptied a bit and at this time at least 1 of the guest from the list had left. No one came to me to ask if I wanted to take their place. I continued to wait. I saw Liz again and asked should I get started on the paperwork.. hmm, then she said no there are 35 tattoos in front of you theres still no guarantee it can get done Im trying to leave by 12 and besides your name isnt even on the list! I was livid by this time because almost 2 hours early I specifically asked her about putting my name on that list. So I continued to wait. As the gentleman continued to call names buy this time TWO/2 guest had left. No one even still came to ask if I would like to go ahead and get it done. As he spoke with other guest one mentioned she wanted Liz to do her tattoo. The gentleman said I dont know if shell be able to but Ill ask. He asked (while she was in the middle of doing a tattoo) and she agreeded to do hers. While he continued to confirm attendance of those on the list, the young lady who came in after me and was told she couldnt get her tattoo done somehow ended up with her authorization form and was picking out her tattoo. This was totally to my surprise and dismay because by this time I had waited for 2 1/2 hrs close to 3. Then the gentleman with the list came to inform me they may NOT be able to get to me and asked if I wanted him to check anyway. I said politely Yes, please. Then he came back and told me they will NOT be able to get to my tattoo. After waiting around for close to 3 hours watching some come in AFTER me and STILL be able to get theirs done, I WAS PISSED! But politely said ok, and left. Now my issue wasnt just that they couldnt get to it.. I COMPLETELY UNDERSTOOD how busy they were and how so many had already been waiting, and I COMPLETELY UNDERSTOOD due to the demand I had no guarantee.. the issue was there were OTHERS who came in AFTER I did and was able to get their tattoo, AND people HAD left as Liz expressed may happen giving me an opportunity for me to get my tattoo done. And at this point I assumed was my color a reason for the treatment? I WAS the ONLY black girl there (or black person) waiting. It was/is a cause for concern (at the least). Its definitely an unfortunate situation dealing with DV8 tattoos!

My son died suddenly in June, I got his name tattooed on my arm. It blew out, leaving an area with blue aura on it. The tattoo was designed to look almost exactly like the one my son had on his arm for me, so I didnt want any major changes to it. Just a little something to distract away from the blue area. She tried, repeatedly, to pressure me to do what she wanted until I finally had to tell her, no I dont want that. That is when she told me she wouldnt help me because she didnt want people to think she blew out the tattoo. Last I checked, tattoo artists dont sign their work, so how would anyone know it was her?

Ive been going here for years, things look different now due to COVID but all that means is they have social distance practices in place. They have always been super clean and safe but its obvious they have put even more in place with the artists and customers safety and comfort in mind. Love DV8 love my artist and everyone there is amazing.

Good deals on the piercings, the only shop in town I found that will do a scoop piercing on the tongue! Always a deal going on like there 2 for 40. New favorite shop and will be going for a tattoo in the near future.

I went in to get a lower labret (lip) piercing for my birthday. The girl running the counter (Lahanny) sic was extremely educated on the pitfalls of making such a choice. Instead of making money, which they absolutely could have she was able to reason me out of my idea. That is a quality shop in my opinion 😊

Excellent service! Got a nose ring from here and was helped in changing it. The prices were quite high (ended up paying over 100), but it was mostly worth it for the clean environment and knowledge.

Absolutely terrible!! I was told that the wait was gonna be 20 mins for a jewelry exchange and after an hour was told “oh sorry, there is 1 more ahead of you, shouldn’t be much longer.” Waited another 15 mins and finally left. I’ll go somewhere else for a jewelry exchange instead of wasting an hour and a half of my life for nothing!!! Not to mention the lady was not very nice that I dealt with.

Quality of place has declined over the years as they lose good people. Now employing snarky kids who like to argue with you about jewelery knowledge and talk down to you like you dont know what youre talking about, especially when it comes to how jewelery reacts to someones personal body. Should have let that kid talk me out of buying jewelery from him when I came in the 1st time.

I got a tattoo here awhile back, my artist did a fantastic job no complaints there other than he didn’t use the 60 dollars deposit I had put down toward what I had owedI ended up not being able to come back for a year, due to life and being extremely busyAnd when I did he said my deposit was no longer in their systemSo my 60 bucks just vanishedNot happy at all.....Make sure you REMIND them to use your deposit otherwise they might steal you money

A little higher on the price side, but such a clean and professional shop! I highly recommend them if you are nervous/hesitant, they are very friendly and it’s a nice environment. The lady who helped me was super knowledgeable and kind :) Definitely will come back for more.

Sterling is a real artist, my wife loves his work. New covid restrictions are real, no extra people, you dont touch anything, everything is cleaned before and after.

My girlfriend paid 25$ for a piece of bent stainless steel wire, could not get a refund. Employees were aimless and rude. Any reasonable questions were responded to in tort for no reason at all.

One of the best experiences I’ve had getting a piercing! He was very kind, calm, and to the point. Definitely coming back.

It took 20 minutes before I could get help from an employee because she was chatting it up with a friend (I could hear the conversation) and they want to charge $600 for a tattoo that’s not very detailed and no bigger than the palm of my hand. This is ridiculous and I’m definitely going somewhere else for my tattoo.

I came in and the guy was helping somebody and I came in and asked how much were these piercings are jewelry and he said up to 15 years of dollars and totally ignored me after that for at least 15 minutes before I left because he went to a different room with the customers and was talking and then one of the other guys from the back came out and let a customer out and did not say a thing to me or tried to help me

Went in to get some jewelry only, waited 10 minutes and there was never an employee on that side of the shop. Guess they do enough business on the tattoo side that the piercing and jewelry side doesnt really matter.
