This was a 2 session tattoo. Rob was my tattoo artist. Super friendly, down to earth guy. He did a great job. He found an image of this piece online. And drew it out free hand on my shoulder. His tattoo equipment was clean. His room was clean. The tattoo shop itself was clean. Friendly staff. I would recommend 13th hour and Rob to anyone.Thanks again Rob. For the awesome job om my tattoo

Update!!07/2024Got another tattoo from the fabulous Rachel! She is so worth waiting for when she comes into town!!! This time, a watercolor with some flowers, leaves, and my familys initials (in my hand writing!!) I FREAKING LOVE this second tattoo as well!!!8/2023: Rachel was fantastic! We worked together to collaborate my vision and I couldnt be happier. I LOVE my new tattoo.

Both my mom and I came here to get some re-piercings done. Amazing service! Met both of the piercers at this location and they were super careful with everything, making sure things were clean and steril as possible. No issues and our piercings are healing perfectly! Staff is super friendly and the aesthetic of the shop is lovely!

Such an amazing place doug did my septum piercing and he was so great he talked me through everything, answered all my questions, and explained how the piercing works. I was extremely comfortable and would recommend him to anybody getting a piercing it was such a great experience 10/10! I’m extremely happy with my new piercing :)

If you are in the mood for a tattoo, THIS IS THE SPOT! Ive been going here for about a year, and any person you get is the friendliest and super easy group to talk and have fun with. My personal favorite right now is Stephanie. Ive booked her a few different times and she always nails the job and makes sure everything she works on with you is what you want, from the design to the colors.The rates they charge are reasonable for the work you get. The business runs a very clean environment and do their best to make sure you are in good hands, safety wise (trust me, i jave horror stories from other shops). And the aesthetic with their new building is pretty wicked. I liked their old building before, but their new spot looks like a interior designers dream job to go wild and have fun with (if youre a star wars fan, they have some amazing props and decor).100% recommend and i cant think of another place i like going to as much as 13th Hour tattoo for some fresh ink

I got a double nostril piercing from here. And I love the experience. It did slightly hurt, but my awesome artist was very patient. my artist was very cool and clean. Will be back soon to get something else done. Plus no one asked me for my review, If they did, they wouldve been really mad because its been months since I got These piercings.Lol

Got my nose pierced here with Doug and he was phenomenal. Made me feel so at ease as he explained every step of the process. Even when I sneezed halfway through and the jewelry dislodged and he was so careful trying to get it back in without hurting me. 10/10. Highly recommend!!

Absolutely wonderful! Got a stunning and beautiful butterfly on my arm, not only was Marc amazing and extremely talented, but very attentive and informative as well! The store looked beautiful and the staff was friendly! Definitely coming back!

Communication was great, the front desk did a nice job of helping me set up my appointment. However, the day I went, I received a call saying Tim was running a bit behind and I was asked to come in an hour later than my appointment time. I agreed, it wasn’t a problem for me. I get to the shop at around 7, and he was still working on his client. He didn’t take me back in until 8pm. He began rushing and seemed upset that I was even his last client. It’s really not my issue that they scheduled me at that time, especially if they knew that the person before me had a bigger tattoo and was going to take a while. He rushed and he did 3 small tattoos for me in less than 15 minutes. The bigger of the 3 healed and I noticed how deeply scarred it was. The lines weren’t even. I am so unhappy with the work, especially because I paid for it. When you pay for something, you expect quality and that’s just not what I got. Here’s the reference photo and what I actually received. Definitely NOT what I asked for. Something permanent like this, should not be rushed.

On October 9th, 2022, I lost my best friend in the world. It has been really hard accepting that hes gone... but because of Mike & my amazing coworkers that paid for my tattoo, I will always have a piece of him with me wherever I go, until I see him again.This was my first tattoo and I was honestly extremely nervous. Mike eased my anxieties, though. He explained the sanitation requirements and the process of the procedure. It didnt take very long either.Although the spot that I chose for my tattoo ended up being a little painful at times, I couldnt have had it any other way - I would get another one someday... only if I go to 13th Hour Tattoos though, because that was an amazing experience.Thank you so much!

Ive had several tattoos done with these guys and was satisfied each time. I once got sick there and they even took care of me then. Very good care of me and walked me to my car after I was better. Ive been back since then and did just fine. I cant thank them enough...I proudly wear my tshirt I purchased from them that I bought right before they moved. I plan to return there as well.

Got both nostrils pierced. Doug was super cool, first try marking them they were super even. I had a bit of bleeding but he took his time to make sure between piercings to clean it up and make sure it stopped before continuing. Also, changed his gloves every time any blood got on him. Talked me through everything he was doing as it was happening. Just a great experience!

Stacie is the only person I would let mark up my body lmao. If you can get a slot in with her I can guarantee you will not be disappointed with her work. People here are beyond talented and friendly. Really cool shop on top of that!

Jess took phenomenal care of me yesterday when I decided to get a Tragus and Forward Helix piercing. She is not only thorough and knowledgeable, but kind and gentle at the same time. She took the time to make sure I was okay before leaving and I just love the piercings. The shop is beautiful. I had my daith done here years back and Im still just as happy as I was then. Ill continue to come here for my body work and I highly recommend Jess for anyone needing a piercing! I also have to give a shout out to the social media peeps who answer FB posts and messages. I have currently gotten three pieces from 13th hour done, all three done by different artists - Mike, Stacie, and Lauren. This is also the location where I got my first ever professional ink done (with mike) so it’ll always hold a special place in my heart.In my personal experience, all of the artists and staff here have been super professional and go above and beyond to make sure your tattoo experience is a good one.I have noticed that, relative to other tattoo establishments I’ve gone to, the prices here do vary heavier depending on the art and the artist - so just make sure to get a consultation and make sure that it is in your budget range before proceeding doing business with these fine people.

I bring my daughter here for her piercings. Doug and Jess are both awesome. They explain everything very well and make her feel comfortable. Everything is clean and sterile. Weve been here 3 seperate times for piercings and its been a good experience every time.Fyi.... For a minor you will need your drivers license, their school ID or an ID with their name and photo on it and their birth certificate.

I came in and got my septum pierced by jess, she did a fantastic job walking me though the process and making sure I had the correct anatomy! Great place and environment, if you’re thinking about getting a piercing 13th hour is an amazing choice! :)

I got my nose pierced here. I lost my nose ring 3 weeks later but thankfully I was able to get it replaced with a pretty opal nose ring. I plan to go back and get more work done!

Clean shop, Artists work is 2nd to None. Brought a sketch and an idea. Un-rushed, we collaborated, designed and produced a final piece. Changed the placement a couple times, Marc took every opportunity to make it exact before starting. Final result beating expectations... return customer for sure.

This was by far the best experience ever ! The shop was clean with an extremely friendly atmosphere. From check in to check out the service was top notch. The young lady who scheduled my appointment has the best voice ever if I didnt see her talking I would have sworn it was a recording. Lol. I absolutely love this shop, and I will never be visiting another tattoo shop again. Y’all have a forever customer! I came here to get a tattoo by mike, which was fantastic and exactly what i wanted! I also got a septum piercing by Doug! He’s great, highly knowledgeable, friendly, helpful. The staff here is all around awesome! The ease of coming to get help with jewelry switch outs is a huge help.

I got my thirds done almost a year ago (9-10 months) here, and they have never fully healed. I followed all the instructions and did everything I have been told by piercers and the internet. Finally, I got sick of troubleshooting myself and decided to go see a highly rated piercer in my college town. I was told that my ears were pierced incorrectly and that the wrong jewelry was used. They were pierced diagonally instead of straight back, which is why I can see the backs when looking in the mirror. I then had to get the proper jewelry put in (flat back studs made of implant grade titanium vs the cheap butterfly back jewelry I was pierced with). Hopefully they heal despite being in the wrong position. The environment was clean and the staff were friendly, but it would have been nice to have gotten a simple lobe piercing from a seemingly well rated piercer that was actually done correctly. It’s disappointing reading all of the positive reviews when my experience has been the opposite.

I will absolutely go back for more work! I have not been tattooed in over 20 years. Me and my best friend got some ink done by Rob and we love it! He was very efficient and professional! We will be back!

I had an idea of a tattoo for my daughter and had a friend of mine draw it up based on a picture of her as a baby. Marc took her drawing and turned it into an absolutely beautiful tattoo! His tattoo parlor is clean and welcoming and awesomely decorated! It was an A+experience all the way! I will definitely be using him for future work!

First time being in the chair.My artist was Ally...who was amazing. She designed exactly what I wanted and executed to perfection.I had zero idea of what to expect. She really took care of me! Almost immediately I was comfortable in her chair. She has a very light hand and does fantastic detailed work.Everyone in this shop is super nice and the facility spotless.Dont overlook this business if youre in the market for a tattoo. Had a wonderful experience! Doug was the best! He was honest, very friendly, and extremely sanitary! It was so nice to see that he and the shop took the pandemic seriously. I took my daughter to get her bellybutton pierced. I think his name was Dave, he was very knowledgeable and he didnt seem irritated with my mom questions. My daughter is 18 but you know I still had questions. He also said that he will change out any jewelry on any piercing he does and you are not obligated to buy his jewelry. When we left my daughter wanted to immediately wanted to buy new jewelry and when she called back up there to find out what gauge it was he was super patient with us. I highly recommend.

I had my tattoo done by Stacy a little over a year ago and honestly it was an amazing experience. Shop is clean, she worked with me to give me what I wanted and I got in same day since she had a no show. She priced it really fair too. I dont think shes there anymore which kind of sucks because I think it needs a touch up now, but thats ok. Id still recommend them to do any tattoos and I live out by 59 so its not a quick drive!

Ally did a great job! I got a wrist tattoo as a reminder that I can do hard things and Ally was so supportive. The whole process took less than an hour with the actual tattoo taking a whole 15 minutes! Super fun to talk to and will definitely go back for the next one!!!

Absolutely love these people! My girlfriends and I decided to get a tat spur of the moment and we walked in and they were able to do us. Mike, the owner was very patient with us. I was extremely nervous and he made me feel relaxed, comfortable and kept me positive and helped with my anxiety. I have a tattoo artist in Texas that I trust completely. Mike is now part of that same trust that I will only let him give me one. Everything was cool. Atmosphere was nice, clean, staff was friendly just paid too much for my 4 letter name. I just got a 4 letter name and paid 125. I honestly could have went somewhere else with the same service clean needles too and paid half of what I paid here. Dont think Ill be going back here just gotta be more mindful of me asking before I actually get things done.

I went to 13th hour with a walk in for a finger print tattoo. Phillip did my work and I loved it! I went back and requested him specifically. He does great work and the shop is always clean. Great workers over all. Will be going back to him!

I had such a great experience here! Everyone was like family as soon as you walked in, every other tattoo shop I walked into almost feels like your not wanted there in a way.. but not one bit here. Mike was FANTASTIC, took my idea and totally twisted and made it into something I never would’ve thought of and I LOVE IT!! Great music choices, great conversation, and AMAZING prices! I have double nose piercings, and will forever live with uneven piercings. My piercer Doug was rude and unprofessional. Not to mention this place claims they do walk-ins, you literally cannot make an appointment. You just have to sit in the waiting room for hours. The good reviews on here are the piercers asking people to put them. Hate this place , go anywhere else. rockstar is down the street

This is my second piece with Mike - another excellent tattoo! From the initial consultation to the final result, the professionalism and attention to detail were evident every step of the way.

It was my first time coming here, but I’ll definitely be back. I had an appointment with Tim to cover up an old tattoo of mine. He did an amazing job & made sure I was comfortable the whole time. The shop is clean and has a bunch of cool stuff set up. They were also great in making sure that everything was sanitized before and after every appointment, and took everyone’s temperature that came in.

The place is extremely clean. I was greeted as soon as I arrived. They follow the safety guidelines. I saw Doug for a piercing issue. He explained the likely cause, was quick and gentle. Ill return if I get anything else done.

I got my septum and a nose ring done on Feb 26th my piercer was Doug. They do not take walk ins I had to make an appointment. He did an amazing job he was really nice to talk to everything was clean, the receptionist was nice as well. They had reasonable prices for the piercings I got. I’ve had my septum for almost 2 weeks now and it is healing good it doesn’t hurt at all I don’t even feel any soreness anymore. He also pierced it very straight it’s not crooked or anything, so he really knows what he is doing. If you want any kind of piercings I would recommend. If I need any other piercings he will be doing them from now on.

Well to start I was given a quote of $100 minimum for a hour. My tattoo took almost a hour exactly. They made me pay $200. It was not alot of detail or color. Also at first if I didnt look close he spelled my Dads name wrong, lucky a n can be turned into a R easy. Near the end he started to get kinda rushed and almost sloppy with the actual color and made my grass yellow instead of switching colors from the balloon. And the balloon isnt shaded in and theres a white spot that doesnt look like light reflecting ..just sloppy and not colored in. Generally good work. They also didnt really try hard to size it down where it would fit on my calf or arm... so its stuck where no one can see it on my thigh.

Got my snakebites (lip) done by Doug and I could NOT be happier! First off the woman who greeted us was amazing. And then Doug was incredibly professional yet personable, they’re 100% symmetrical, talked me through the whole process before and during, and was patient when I told him I was lightheaded afterward. I’ll never go to anyone else for piercings again.

Clean, professional. Doug made sure my daughter understood every step of the process while getting her ears pierced. He was gentle & patient, and gave us detailed instructions for keeping her ears clean. Cant wait to go back for myself!

Got a semicolon tattoo about a year ago and the guy that did my tattoo said “you know this is basically just hurting yourself right?” At the time, I didn’t think much of it, but now it just sounds super insensitive. The guy who did my earrings was super cool though!

I’ve been to quite a few piercing places, but this is my new favorite. Doug is extremely knowledgeable about what he does, extremely quick, and makes sure you’re comfortable when getting pierced. Everyone is extremely nice, I got greeted by 4 different people when I walked in. It’s clean and has a great atmosphere, it’s like you’re walking into a comic book store with Metallica blasting in the background. I’m telling everyone to go here, 10/10.

I recently got a tattoo here. I was somewhat nervous when I entered because I always feel like a loser among the staff because of my inexperience with tattoo culture, but they really made me feel comfortable and invited. The building is really cool with a lot of really interesting nerd culture/pop culture decorations. The receptionist was super helpful and professional. I didnt get her name unfortunately, but she was great. My artist was Timm and he was incredibly professional, helpful, and made absolutely sure that I got the tattoo I wanted, even while I was in a state of disarray. Timm is super engaging, friendly, and a consummate professional. My tattoo turned out amazing, even better than I had expected. The staff is really passionate about tattooing and were also excited about future ideas I have. I absolutely found my permanent place and my permanent artist. Thank you so much

First time here, it was super clean and the piercer (Doug I believe) was super knowledgeable and great at his job. Even got some aftercare advice I wasnt previously aware of, very pleased with the whole experience and would definitely recommend this shop to anyone.

Had Marc for my tattoo artist. Couldnt be happier with his work. Hes very reasonable with price and making sure you feel comfortable. Has a good sense of humor and will be honest with every question you have. He drew up a angel with clouds and sun rays going on my rib cage. The tattoo hurt like hell but he made sure I was comfortable the entire time. He took his time with it and the tattoo looks amazing. Wont be going anywhere else for a tattoo!

I went to 13th Hour to fix up a tattoo from another studio, and Mike the owner did an amazing job!! The studio is super clean, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Mike was more than happy to help fix my tattoo, and was able to get me in fast for a consult and then the actual tattoo. I definitely recommend this tattoo studio to anyone, and I will be returning!

I got two different piercings here in December, a rook and a helix, and the guy who does the piercings was super cool, and he did a great job on them. My mom also got a tattoo here and it turned out really cool, all thanks to Timm, one of the tattoo artists who works here. Love this place and plan on getting my first tattoo here.

Went to go get my nose pierced today, whomever (didn’t get to catch his name) was welcoming. Doug did a great job, he was informative, professional, quick, and clean! He answered all my questions, and walked me through everything. I’d definitely recommend, and will be going back to get my navel re-pierced.

I had my septum pierced here today by Douglas and he was absolutely amazing. I happen to have a deviated septum but he had the expertise to still be able to give me my dream piercing! 😍 He also was super helpful and patient with my best friend when she got dizzy after hers was done and got her a nice cold bottle of water. I went as a walk-in to get my nipples pierced and I am so glad I stumbled upon this place. Danni made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. It was my first piercing like this and she just took all my nerves away. She was very knowledgeable and relatable. I will go back to her for anything else I want. I walked in for a septum piercing and the piercer was very professional, personable and informativ, He did an excellent job informing me after taking a look before hand that my one nostril veered off to the side a little and that it could cause the piercing to not quite be 100% lined up even. He told me he would do the best he could to compensate for it to try and keep the piercing even. I love that he walked me through and explaned each step through the whole process (which was a lot quicker and way less painful that i expected) With 100% honesty I say he did an absolute excellent job and I am way more than satisfied with how it turned out and love how my septum piercing looks!! I would definitely recommend 13th Hour Tattoos for anyone looking to get a piercing!

Amazing! Doug did a great job piercing my nose and was very informative when explaining the after care and how/what he was piercing me with. Cost me $40 with a hoop, and couldn’t be happier! 10/10 would recommend!

Had my septum pierced before and they pierced it wrong hit a nerve and have been scared together a piercing since. about a month ago got it repierced here, wonderful experience did it 110% right. The lady working at the counter was absolutely amazing. They take extrodinary measuresto make sure their staff is safe. Cant remember names but the man who gave me my piercing was great too! My only issue is the ball to my piercing broke off but they are still getting five stars cause they could have never predicted that, they did everything perfect, and the fact Im 99 percent positive they will replace when I call tomorrow. So regardless they are great will never go anywhere for a piercing agian

I heard from several people that it’s so much better to get it done with a needle at a tattoo shop versus a piercing gun at Claire’s. I’m so happy I got it done here, because what a difference! Doug was so professional and knowledgeable and made sure I was well informed on the procedure and after cafe. Everything was extremely clean and sanitary. I would absolutely recommend 13th hour tattoos!

The artist I have made fun of my hair on my body when I got my ink I understand I should of shaved but its unprofessional for someone thats doing your work to laugh at you while doing your ink and make comments about body hair,wont get my work done cause of it also tattoos me slower then molasses in January had to stop cause she moved to slow and I swelled to quick ...I wont be back since people wanna point and laugh like were in school I wanted my work finished but cant bring myself to go back thanks for making me feel worse about my body

Love this place! I have hade all of my work done here after comming in for the first time and have brought friends here to get their ink and piercings. My artist is Marc but I know the other artists are extremely talented as well. The shop is very comfortable while still maintaining a professional atmosphere. I have moved out of state now and dont plan on getting any more ink until I am back in town visiting so I can have my man Marc do it!

I got my rook and flat peircing here and had a great experience! I would highly recommend getting piercings here. The shop is clean and there was a lot of cleaning that was involved in the piercing process. I came with a friend and she got 4 piercings as well and they all look fantastic!

I went there to get an industrial piercing in March of 2020. The guy that my piercing was so genuinely nice and really knew his profession. He was patient with me and listened to what I wanted and where, then gave me some sound advice on placement of the piercing.10/10 would highly recommend.

Got my piercings here from Doug. Hes a real trooper. Very patiences even as picky as I am, and very understanding even with all the demands. Hes not quick to anger even if he had to answer the same questions multiple times. He make me feel welcomed and reassured that Im in good hands. He also have good senses too, and thats what I really appreciate. What I mean by sense is, for example, a piercing marking can be made, but if your poke is not straight and you have no senses of how itll look beyond the maker dot, then the end result can be very devastating. But, Doug is great at his job and have the senses to match. He earn my respect and future business. Thank you very much, Doug, for being so patiences with us, and doing such good job.

Doug the piercer really helped explain the piercing process. He knows hos stuff. I have very bad anxiety and he was willing to work with me to make sure I felt comfortable. Clean place. Professional.

Doug is a wonderful piercer. I had gone somewhere else for 1 piercing, and was in so much pain afterwards. 2 weeks later Doug saved the day by putting a titanium hoop in. Hes done a few other piercings on me and no pain afterwards, they healed beautifully, and hes changed out my earrings with no pain. Hes very sterile, the shop is spotless, and Doug is an all around great guy. I wont go anywhere else but 13th hour.

There are some places where friendly words and meaningful conversation is worth everything no matter if its just for a brief moment. I always end up just talking about random stuff with my artist along with the other artists, the environment is so relaxing but I think its just them that make it that way no other place could possibly compare other then my room. If you ever walk through the front door smile cause youll have a friend by the end of the day.

Danni was wonderful with piercing me. She was calm and explained everything which kept me calm and happy too! Also, my piercings are healing better and faster than any other ones Ive gotten done.

Went to get my septum pierced and this place was amazing very friendly very clean and adhering too all safety measures..and Doug was amazing vsry professional and very quick, also very knowledgeable about his craft. If you want a QUALITY piercing AND a good price, come to 13th hour. Doug is hands down the best piercer ive seen in 16 years, and ive seen several. He is clean and professional, but also very personable. He takes the time to correctly place and mark your piercing, and measure the correct jewelery size. Then he double checks, and tells you everything he is doing beforehand. Whether youre experienced in getting pierced, or youre scared or have hang ups, id 100% recommend seeing doug. Ill certainly be back to see him for my next piercing.

ROB the tattoo artist here is amazing ! His worth ethic, honesty, and being prompt with your appointments. My first time here was about two weeks ago, after driving around Macomb County after one tattoo artist I had an appointment with flaked on me twice ! Never again. She clearly isn’t about her money.Another shop I won’t name but I’ve seen their reviews with a few others complaining of this same issue.Most parlors advertise walk ins. I get here to this shop in my local area they opened at 11 sign was lit as open I walk up to the door it was locked no one was there I called no answer. Here comes who just so happen to be the piercer strolling in 30 mins late like it’s no biggie. I walk in 15 mins after her she didn’t even acknowledge me to come in or anything. Just ghetto! I noticed no one else walked in after her so I was baffled as to okay is anyone else working here?! Sure enough no tattoo artist were in .. HOW is this a tattoo shop ?! NEXTTT!So I ended up after my long upsetting journey at 13 hour Tattoos it was worth it and everything happens for a reason! I’m pleased with my tattoo. The welcoming environment. I’ve wanted this for so long it’s very meaningful to me and Rob got the job done!Highly recommend this artist !!!

We love 13th Hour Tattoos, the people there are great they do excellent work give excellent advice for piercings and how to take care of your tattoos we are definitely a permanent customer.

Although I had an hour waiting time (because of the sanitation process and procedures) let me just say DOUG is the man! He patiently explained the process of keeping infections to a minimum and the procedure was over in a second with no count down. I highly recommend this place. K Gee.

Started working with Chris @ 13th Hour Tattoos last week, and the experience up until now has been excellent. I have undergone 2 sessions with Chris, he is a Great guy, friendly, good conversationist, very clean and puts out a lot of good energy. He awnsered my many questions gladly and listened to my ideas and brought them to reality. My Tongue Piercing Was Done Perfectly. Most Shops Have A Tattooer That Pierces. They Have A Person Who Strictly Pierces & Has Been Doing It Over A Decade, I Believe. Definitely Would Recommend.

Last March I had 3 piercings done. One was a ear cartilage that was done at an angle and never healed secondary to being done incorrectly. So heads up, you may be better off to go somewhere else for a piercing!

Just went in to get a labret gage loosened because I had been unable to get it off so that I could change it, the person who does the piercings wasnt there probably because it was Sunday but one of the tattoo artist helped me and was able to get it twisted off for me. She was super nice and it was cool that she was willing to try to help me even though this wasnt in her area of expertise.

Went there for my cartilage piercing and then after a year went back for my belly piercing same guy did mine both times and he was great answered all my questions and everything was fresh out package and clean I definitely recommend

Nothing turns me off more than snobby pretentious staff and thats exactly what I encountered when I went into 13th hour. Being new to the area, I went in to ask a few questions in regards to sizing up my ears but bc of the staff members attitude. I went some where else.
