The talent and creativity Emerson has is next level. Im so in love with my tattoo and they went above and beyond to make sure it was exactly how I wanted it! Thank you Emerson I will never have a tattoo done by anybody else. Top tier work and overall an awesome human to be around!

I had the best experience getting my first tattoo here.Jacob Dynes is a talented and knowledgeable artist. He was able to work with my very specific geometric design requirements and added his stylistic touch using line weights and embellishments that made the final design better than I could have hoped for.He was very easy to talk to during the initial consult and even during the tattoo process (I didn’t notice 2 hours go by while getting the tattoo).I came into the studio early in the morning, so it was pretty empty but the space has a nice, calming presence.The actual process of getting the tattoo was relaxing and Jacob played a big part in making that happen.I can’t recommend him enough for anyone looking to work with a talented local artist.

My tattoo artist was Mia. She did a perfect tattoo. Her line work is precise. Her color saturation is flawless. She has a light touch, so there was virtually no pain. The Studio is professional and clean. I will forever be a client. I could go on and on about their greatness and how wonderful my experience was with Mia. I highly recommend this business!

This place is awesome, good vibes all around. Brandos the man, awesome dude, anytime anyones asked about my tattoos I tell them about him. Does great work an is very clean. This place has more then fair prices an doesnt charge an arm an leg for the fancy name of a shop. Ill continuously tell people that ask me that this is the best spot in Roseville!

Such a wonderful experience. Shaina knew what I wanted more than I did. I gave her a scrap of paper with a black and white sketch...and she turned it into a work of art. I am a quiet person and really appreciate her respecting that. The atmosphere can be loud so I recommend ear buds when getting art done. Its also pretty cold, as expected, so bring a blankie if youre as cold blooded as I am. Overall, I cant wait to get another piece done!

I had such a wonderful and amazing experience. Shaina is a very talented and sweet artist and her work is not only gorgeous, she is extremely light-handed; this was the most relaxing tattoo session ever. I went here for my first tattoo and I was extremely anxious leading up to my appointment.Emerson was my artist, and they were wonderful with walking me through the whole process. They were honest and up front about session break downs, design plan, newbie education, and after care.After 3 sessions including great conversations, I have a tattoo that makes me so proud. I can’t wait for the next one.The atmosphere at this shop is professional and welcoming. Everyone was kind and respectful. We always look forward to our appointments with Emerson. Jacob Dynes is an incredible artist. He’s patient and kind and the vibe in The Studio is great. Clean and welcoming with great music. He accommodated our schedule and was able to fit my friend and I in on short notice for matching tattoos and he spent time getting the design perfect. His fine line work is beautiful. He went over aftercare throughly and made sure we were happy. Thanks Jake for making the experience so great.

I called this morning, having decided late that I wanted a tattoo, luckily for me they had an opening. I spoke with Emerson and she was an amazing artist. She is quick and professional, and she gives her honest opinion about how things should look and the reasons behind her statements. This was super helpful because as I said before I had decided this morning on getting one and kept changing my mind. She tattoos very well, and she has neat and tidy lines. With the design I gave her was a lot of straight lines and each one is perfection. I really appreciate everything she was able to do for me. 10/10 would go to her again.

Ive been wanting to get a tattoo for years. I finally decided it was time. I walked in and met Jacob.He was really nice. I showed him a picture of what I wanted. I also explained I would like to have it done in blue ink if that wasnt too expensive and add a date. Explaining the tattoo was in memory of my first miscarriage. He said he would love to do it in blue and he didnt charge me more for the change in ink color or the date! He did an amazing job! It couldnt of been more perfect! I love it! I cant wait to get another tattoo done by him.

Awesome environment to get tattooed in! My husband and I both get tattooed by Jake and hes absolutely amazing. I had been wanting to get a back tattoo for awhile but had a hard time trusting anyone to do it. After seeing the tattoos he gave my husband i was confident he could do it. I love the studio. It has such a chill and eclectic vibe along with a clean and professional environment. The artists are all so different and talented. Jacob is my artist and his attention to detail and creative skill is everything you could want in a tattoo artist. So happy I did my research and came here.

Loved my experience. Went in and scheduled an appointment, Marcos was happy to accomodate, and I walked out 4 days later with my tattoo. Marcos was calm and informational, gave me all the tips I needed to take care of my tattoo, and I loved the amount of time spent sanitizing and prepping. Very safe, very talented, very beautiful

This place is amazing! Everyone here is so nice and relaxed. I worked with Jacob, he gave me such a beautiful tattoo of the Dr. Seuss Truffula Tree. I have been wanting this tattoo forever, and he really made it come to life. He added stunning watercolor and tiny scratchy lines just like the original artwork. Jacob is immensely personable, funny, attentive, sweet, and all around amazing at what he does. I highly recommend this place if you want a beautiful piece of art to carry with you forever. Jacob is definitely my go to guy now and I cant wait to go back.

They seemed friendly and the shop is quiet and clean. However, they don’t do piercings anymore, and there was no update to either the website or google page to let us know.

Where do I begin?? Marcos was....INCREDIBLE! Honestly, I cant rave about him enough! He did an AMAZING job. He saw the image that I wanted & did on a wonderful piece on my arm. He was gentle (like no pain or discomfort) & did this all in one sitting & completed it fairly quickly! Super friendly & thorough. I cant wait to go back to him for my other pieces!

Came here for my first tattoo and had the owner Melissa Funk do it. Giant thigh to hip rose tattoo and it took almost 6 hours. She was amazing! Her art work was great and I was so, so impressed with her shading abilities! Coming back here for another one!

My wife and I were very lucky and fortunate to find tattoo artist Shaina Hernandez, at the Studio Custom Tattoo shop, on Riverside in Roseville.We found Shaina through my wifes efforts, while researching artists.Shaina has done absolutely wonderful, first class work on both my wife, and I. Not on just one occasion, but many different works of art, at different times.We highly recommend that if you, or other family or friends, want remarkable and beautiful work done, make an appointment for a consult at the Studio, with Shaina. You will not regret it.

The studio itself is very clean and has a really cool aesthetic. The staff were nice and personable but also professional. Blu did my leg today, she was absolutely great. Talkative and responsive, but also knew when I wanted to stop talking towards the end. Im already planning my next piece with her and Im getting my wife to go in as well.

I received a tattoo from Shaina today. I dont envy tattoo artists because they have to turn the customers vision into a permanent piece of art in one take. I asked her to design something one-off with a bit of input and a description of the feeling I was going for and she absolutely nailed it. The tattoo turned out even better than I imagined. Set an appointment up with Jacob for an hour after I called him. Met and discussed with him briefly what I was looking for. Set an appointment for the next day early per my request. Showed up on time was very polite and professional. He tweaked the artwork to exactly what I wanted while I watched. His work is excellent, and he has a light almost painless touch. I definitely will be going to see him again.

Amazing shop, super clean and super amazing artists. Shania does my tattoos and she is amazing and detail oriented. They all are nice and professional. I highly recommend the studio to anyone that wants a quality and professional experience and beautiful tattoos. Ill always be going here.

I cannot speak highly enough about Emerson. They took my kind of random idea and ran with it. This was not my first tattoo, but was by far the best one. Emerson was light handed enough that I wasnt worried, but thorough enough that I am not concerned about longevity. I will go back, and will refer everyone I know, to Emerson.

Took my daughter in for her first piercing. They acknowledged me when I walked in and were friendly. Had an appointment with Jacob. Very informative and kind. Walked her through the piercing and made us feel comfortable. Clean and sterile environment. Will go back and recommend to every one. We had went to DV8 first and had the worst customer service. This shop far outshines them.

Where do I start. If you’re going to get a tattoo do not go to Jacob/Jake. He is very unprofessional. In the beginning he made it seem so easy as if I was in good hands. I booked my appointment a month out and he told me he would be sending me a sketch of my tattoo a week prior and if I don’t hear from him to reach out to him even if it means blowing him up. I reached out and he did not respond until two days later and told me he would need another day or so to send it. Understandable because I know tattoo artists could be busy so I patiently waited.Four days gone by and still no sketch. My tattoo day approached, so I decided to reach out the night before to see how the sketch was going. Of course, no response.. at this point I have lost my patience.A few hours before my tattoo appointment on the day of, I get a text from Jake informing me that he has to cancel due to one of his co workers having covid symptoms. I couldn’t be mad at that because he’s taking safety precautions, however it’s very unprofessional of him to not even have sent me my sketch as he said he was going to do. I had to reach out to him a few times just to get a sketch. As a tattoo artist you would think to provide amazing customer service because you’re working for the customer and doing what it takes to create that masterpiece and build that trust.At this point, I said you know what let me go ahead and just reschedule for the week after. I got my sketch the next day at night time which believe it or not I was just in shock. I was in shock because he took so long to respond back and send me a sketch when the pictures I sent him of what I wanted, all he did was crop it out and paste it onto my forearm (a picture he took on day of consultation) I told him I wanted him to fix my lion and he said he will fix it and send over the finished sketch.Five days gone by and still no finished sketch and my appointment was the next day. I get a text that says his co worker has covid and he has to reschedule again. I am done at this point because not only is Jake unresponsive but not great at keeping his word. Very unprofessional and such a negative experience. I wouldn’t want anyone else to have gone through what I went through. I should’ve just cancelled with him the moment he cancelled with me on the day of my tattoo appointment but I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt and of course he steered me wrong.I’m not saying don’t come to this tattoo shop at all and I’m also not saying I don’t care for the person who tested positive. Not at all and no disrespect to them. I understand it’s inevitable to catch the virus. I’m just saying the individual Jake, should’ve done his job properly and not provided a poor experience. I also had recommended him to a friend during the time of my consultation as well and thankfully he treated her much more professionally. Again, I’m not speaking about this shop overall is unprofessional I’m only referring to my experience with Jake. I can’t speak for the others there at the shop.

Melissa is PHENOMENAL! She tattooed a WOLF face on my left shoulder/arm that is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! I have had this tat for about 2 years now...EVERYWHERE I go, I am CONSTANTLY getting compliments! I owe it ALL to Melissa! She does awesome work! Thank you so much!

I needed to get my navel re pierced. I was nervous and I did some research to find a good place to go. I decided on The Studio and I chose well, as it turns out. Jonas did the piercing. He was gentle, very careful and meticulous, and informative. I bled a little more than normal and he took the time and had the patience to help me get it under control before sending me off on my own. He was busy and had others waiting on him, but he did not rush and made me feel relaxed and as though I were the only person on his mind. It went perfect. I highly recommend The Studio. Ask for Jonas, hes awesome!

I went with my daughter to get her first tattoo and an original drawing of hers tattooed on me. Dax was our artist and she was amazing. Love the tattoos. Dax made us feel very comfortable and answered any questions we had. I will definitely be scheduling another session soon.

2015-09-27 Work Done By BLUE!!!She tattood my geisha and wolf under the moon w/color in fine crisp detail and she was fast. This place is definitely worth it!!! Everyone is great. Got warm welcoming right when I walked in and it was very clean/sterol. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.Thanks for the tattoo and experience guys!!!!

Ive been here a few times. Jonas was my first artist, very friendly and knowledgeable as to what he was doing. I just got my new leg tattoo done by Tony. Tony is awesome! Both of them are very talented, but do not be scared to try an of the artists.

Went in for my first tattoo. I was a little nervous, but when I sat down with Ral it was all good... He gave me a great tattoo.. The best part is showed me his belly. I went in today for my first piercings (industrial and nose). My piercer was Dax and she was absolutely amazing. She talked me through the whole process and made me feel super comfortable. She also went above and beyond when my moms car wouldnt start when we went to leave. She went to four businesses to figure out whose car was parked next to us to see if they would move so she could park there to jump out car. And when no one claimed the car she got in her car, pulled up right behind them, and jumped our car. So freaking amazing 😊

A few months back I was referred to Studio Tattoos and am thankful for the referral. For my piercing and follow up questins I had, the women I have had on each visit (Dax & Shaina) have both been very professional and qenuinely helpful. My second visit Dax was really sweet giving me her reccommendations and suggestions to try before moving forward with her educated and experienced knowledge. I am grateful and impressed ~ thanks, Dax!
