All Star Tattoo

I just had my first tattoo ar 54 on 8.17.24. I went in an consulted with Trev. I had a bunch of pictures, where I showed him what I liked and what I was looking for in my tattoo. When I arrived for my appointment, I was extremely happy with the drawing. He was able to incorporate everything I was wanting for my tattoo. He was awesome through the entire process and talked me through the steps. It made a wonderful experience for me. I was so pleased with the results. He made it a truly wonderful birthday present to myself. I am already planning on getting my 2nd tattoo with Trev. Everyone at the shop was great

I got mantis piercings done with Kitty yesterday, and she was absolutely wonderful!! Talked me through every step and was very sweet!! Everyone who greeted me was nice, and the shop has a great atmosphere. Absolutely recommend

Today me and my mom went to get our noses pierced. The place was clean and staff was super friendly and helpful. The guy that did our piercing was awesome and talked to us the whole time. The experience was quick and easy definently a 10/10. We will be going back for our future piercing. Anyone looking to get a piercing I recommend going here you wont regret it! My mom and I went here to get our first tattoos together. We did a walk-in appointment. They got us in sooner than they said they would. I had AJ who did a fantastic job. I got a quote on my ribs. He made sure to ask how I was doing. My mom had Diego. He went above and beyond with our idea. My mom has even gone back to add to her tattoo. They did not rush even though there were people waiting. The artists gave us excellent advice on how to care for our tattoos. We both had limited peeling and love our tattoos.

Super fun place! I definitely would come back! Emma is pretty awesome, did a pair of bees for my crew and they turned out amazing!

So I didn’t get a tattoo and here’s why I went in the rep lady was really nice and very understanding and ref me to and artist the two tattoos are really small maybe the size of dollar coin at most he was planning on charging me 250 I decided to just do once he stated that he would have to design it and didn’t design anything basicly copy what I had put together. I don’t even feel like he wanted to tattoo me any way but anyway. He ask what my max amount will be I said $1200 mind you it’s the letter D with a heart. I laugh and said I would decline and that only because I know I can find this cheaper. He laugh said good luck anyway I’m writing this to say this I was right I was able to find cheaper and was able to get both tattoos and love how they came out and I’m happy with my choice. If you don’t care about price go to all stars. ✌🏾✌🏾

Super kind staff, non judgmental, helpful. AJ (tattoo artist) was so down to earth and was available for a walk in on a Friday afternoon. Also, the shop has a nice open air feeling and very clean. I felt very comfortable and welcome here! The piercer ( I didn’t catch her name) was super quick and painless as well.

Myself and three friends came in and got matching tattoos as a sort-of spontaneous thing. Staff was all great! Informative and nice. AJ did mine and was very kind and talented. Turned out perfect for all 4 of us!!

I got my first tattoo for my 57th birthday and everyone at Allstar was amazing. They talked me through the whole process and AJ did a great job! Last month I went back and Trevor did another one. It was a great experience and great work!

Donna went too deep with the lettering on my tattoo. seems as if she realized it and corrected this as the rest of the tattoo is fine. i still like my tattoo, but get more experience tattooing on darker skin, donna.

On my birthday I went to All Star to get my septum pierced. I was so excited, I had been waiting for this for YEARS. I was very disappointed when the piercer was very short with us and rude. She also pierced my septum in the incorrect spot. It looked a bit weird so I went to another local shop to get a second opinion and they said I was right and it had been pierced right through the cartilage. It was taken out and I was gushing blood. It hurt so bad. I spent good money and I was just disappointed with my time there. Maybe it was an off day but it was just unfortunate. The guy at the front desk was nice though.

I have ALWAYS gotten my piercings here! They are top notch. That being said my first tattoo experience has been disappointing. Andy was my artist. He was super friendly but I just feel like I got high-balled. I paid $300 for a tattoo that has been quoted elsewhere as around $150. I just feel like my idea wasnt completely executed the best it couldve been and for the money I paid, it doesnt reflect the craftsmanship... Really disappointed...The key is Beautiful but the wording/Dont. I have gotten so much FLACK about how the lettering is...

The absolute best shop in the STL!! They have been the only ones on multiple occasions that have been able to truly take us as walk-ins like they say they do 😊 And they have amazing artists 😁 Definitely my go to shop from now on!! Dont even waste your time on Iron Age... here are just a couple pics of my recent visits!!

**Just FYI: I have not been paid by, received a discount from, been asked to, nor have I had the opportunity to return to this establishment since the initial review. I just think we concentrate too much on complaining about the negative side of business, when I know Id rather look up reviews on a business and be able to see/read through more positive remarks and recommendations.11/7/19 I would just like to add to this review...You can absolutely find a cheaper price on a tattoo, believe me, Ive checked around on both sides of the river...BUT...lets face it, this is PERMANENT!! So you want the best. Im sure primarily due to location and overhead, the prices here arent quite as competitive as some parlors, but trust me...QUALITY IS WORTH EVERY PENNY!! My daughter went to a closer, cheaper parlor for her 2nd and 3rd tattoos, and ended up having a reaction to the ink or something, that made both tattoos bumpy, and fade in spots (and yes, they have offered to correct both, but when the bumps go away - and they do not appear to be going away, and its been months!). I do not believe that that would ever happen at this place!! There is a great work ethic there and a pride in their work that you just dont find often enough anymore!The drive was worth every penny!! We live about a half of an hour away, (& believe me, thats a big deal to my husband, lol) and after all was said and done even my husband was completely impressed as well. Im even considering having my one and only tattoo colored in there, and I swore that I would NEVER do that! If it were up to me, no one in my family would get a tattoo anywhere else (unless my husband did it himself!). So please, take some time and put back a little extra (because he absolutely deserves as big of a tip as you can give him!) and get a beautiful WORK OF ART instead of just a tattoo!!!Very nice people. Large parlor, very clean & aesthetically pleasing. Waiting area is large as well as comfortable. The owner gave my daughter her 1st tattoo. Amazing artist, quick, no bleeding & very little redness. Tattoo is PERFECT!! I highly recommend this place!

My friend and I called ahead to confirm All-Star accepts walk-ins for piercings - they do! It was a pleasant experience, and they ensure all safety and sanitation efforts for COVID. Very reasonable pricing too.

Donna totally rocks! Not my first tattoo but it had been a while and I felt totally at ease talking her ear off while she created art on my arm. She is patient and listens and is very creative. From a handful of photos to a beautiful piece of art as walk-in is amazing. Her line work is impeccable and can do that thin and crispy detail. The shop in general is great I’m just proud of the work she’s done. Totally a cool human! Can’t wait to come back for more!

Came in unsure about my friend and I getting nose piercings, Chelsea was AMAZING!!!!!! We both got them and are so happy with them :) 10/10 recommend!!!!

I went and got ashley piercing the piercer insisted I get the size 2 the smallest one because my lips were small then I told her I wanted the bigger one and she still has me get the small one she didnt tell me how to clean it. Did not give me aftercare instructions or show me how to clean it which she is supposed to then when i would eat, drink, and brush teeth the diamond was so small it kept getting pushed in to the hole and I would have to push it back out. Then it fell out completely. Then I call up there and I tell the guy my piercing fell out then the guy said yeah we can fix it and put a bigger size in. The piercer asks me how ling it has been out i said less then 24 hours been out and she says no I cant do it it looks closed even tho its not. Then I ask.to speak to a manager and they say no they are independent contractors. I know yal have an owner. The least you could have done is put a new one in with a bigger size, gave me a free piercing somewhere else, or gave me me my.70$ back.

Got my first tattoo here and they made it an easy and stress free experience! I worked with Trev who made me feel comfortable and welcomed as soon as I walked in. I keep getting compliments about how well the tattoo turned out! Recommend to anyone looking to get a tattoo!

Trevor has done both my daith piercings and they work wonders. He did an industrial bar today and i love it. Jim Little has dont all 4 of my tattoos including the ones in the pictures. All star is more than there work. They make you feel like your at home.

I took my daughter on her 18th birthday to get her first tattoo. AJ was fantastic! Her tattoo looks awesome, and he was great about checking that she was doing ok the whole time. She couldnt have had a better first tstto experience!

I can’t stress enough how cleanliness matters when wanting a tattoo. This place is a nice, clean shop and the artists and other employees keep a high standard. As I sit to wait for an opening, I can see the artists cleaning, sterilizing the areas. They have a sink and soap and water on each end of the employee areas. When they come and go they wash. Nice to see!All of the artists I have met were knowledgeable, talented and all seemed nice with great attitudes. My wife and I both got tattooed here. We had fun while getting tattooed and were pleased with the results. I LOVE that they do walk-ins. Most shops stopped doing walk-ins, for me this is part of the fun of getting tattooed.Clean solid work, great atmosphere and great artists, Go see them and tell them I said hello! If I didn’t mention it, they are open 7 days a week!!!!!

Ive been getting tattooed by Nate (the co-owner) for over 20 years, since he was at another popular place on Demar 15+ years ago. I followed him when he opened up All-Star. He also co-owns Trader Bobs with Alan.I grew up in HI so I like Asian-style tattoos, but he can knock out Americana/old school designs like no bodys business. See pics below.

This was my first tattoo and what a great place to get it! From the moment I walked in and was greeted by the receptionist (I’m sorry I didn’t get her name) I knew I was in the right place. Just my luck that I was able to get in immediately. I had a fortune of having Trev as my artist. He was calm, kind and professional. He answered all my questions with confidence. He gave me detailed instructions on how to care for it and took extra care to make sure I got the correct bandage to protect my new tattoo. And my tattoo? It’s perfect! Thank you Trev!!

I’ve been to the old location in the past, but came today and was honestly surprised there had to be $100 minimum. I totally understand you all need to make your money, but what if someone genuinely just wants to get a tiny small tattoo? Just a word? And is still willing to tip. It sucks they don’t even have to option to do that cause a teeny tiny tattoo that has minimal detail isn’t worth $100

What a great experience! I decided to splurge on a tattoo. After much research, I decided to go with this place. Loved the location, people, and decor. They have the most hilarious bathrooms Ive ever been in. Diego did a great job with his artistry and professional magnet, as I got a chest piece done by him. He was a true gentleman and very gentle with his work. Great job, man. I will definitely be back!

Went to get my double’s pierced last week and walked in here with no appointment. Katie the piercer was amazing! She was so informative about the whole process, walked me through everything she was doing! I definitely will go back here

Super non-threatening, totally welcoming place! I was a walk-in on a whim to get an orbital piercing. The guy who checked me in was so nice and laid back. Dra was amazing to work with. He was so nice, explained the process, and totally calm. Something that I noticed was He had the EXACT amount of everything needed on his tray prepped and ready which told me hes super experienced and knows his stuff! 100% recommend.

Took my gf to have her nips pierced here that she was extremely excited for. We drove an hour to get here because she specifically wanted a female piercer. The piercer was fine at first until she put lines on her for the outline didn’t put dots like normal. Didn’t check her stock or check sizes for her beforehand just rushed into sticking the wrong size needle into her at the wrong angle. And then proceeded to ask if she wanted something else done today. Extremely unprofessional. Extremely rushed attitude with no one else in the waiting room.

I just went to get my spine tattoo done here and it was the best tattoo shop by far! Everything was so clean and nice, and the tattoo was amazing. My artist, Trevor did an amazing job and was always checking in to make sure I was good during the session. Will always be getting my tattoos done here!

I’m obsessed with the tattoo I got from Trev! I have a number of tattoos - many of which didn’t turn out the way I wanted and he went above and beyond my expectations. I went in wanting to get a daith piercing or a rook piercing my piecer Cait was so wonderful and awesome. She helped me pick out a different piercing since my anatomy was not built for either of those piercings. She recommended a few different spots and I decided to go with a conch piercing in each ear. I already have my tragus pierced. She was so helpful very throurough. And definitely took great care of me. The pain wasnt bad at all. I was in and out very fast.

Dusto was amazing. My sister is visiting from out of state and we really wanted a personal experience getting a sister matching tattoo. Dusto went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and he even laughed at our stupid jokes. We’re so grateful to have had this wonderful experience at All Star Tattoo. Thank you Dusto, for the great experience and we hope to return soon.

Cannot recommend this place enough - I had a wonderful experience! I went for a walk-in with a good idea of what I was wanting and a drawing. The artist (Trevor) had some recommendations and we worked to create the perfect design for me. This was my first tattoo and Trevor explained everything I needed to know and took great care during the whole process. Ill definitely be getting more from this shop in the future!

I had the best experience I have ever had getting a piercing done! I got my eyebrow and my n****es done and she was so amazing with not only doing the piercings but she’s very engaging and makes you feel comfortable!

I went in for my very first Tattoo and was greeted by Trevor! Great guy very professional really dope artists as well. I described what I wanted and he asked me to have a seat and came back 10mins later with exactly what I pictured in my head!!!! He graciously adjusted the scale down for me a few times to ensure I was satisfied with the size and then he did his thing walked me through the pain and explained everything perfectly told me to relax and went to work! Would definitely recommend him. His lines are perfect and his personally definitely matched!

I got my septum pierced by Draven Anderson on 2/6 and he was excellent! Unfortunately, a couple days later I ended up losing one of the little metal balls to it just before bed. But I went there first thing the next morning and he replaced it, no questions asked. I am very pleased with the professionalism of the shop and I also really liked the environment. Im not sure if I want another piercing yet, but my next tattoo will most likely be done there! Thanks so much, friends! 😊

I had a great experience at this shop. The prices are decent, all of the staff is friendly and Trevor did an amazing job at my double helix piercing. There was no appointment necessary for a piercing and the whole process was super fast! I was in and out of there in 10 minutes.The staff was all very polite and when I called beforehand with a question, the person had good customer service.Only downsides are that my friend who I had brought with me wasnt allowed in the room with me because the room was small. That was the room for ear piercings at least. So, if you were wanting to bring someone with you to hold your hand (like me, usually), maybe see if they have any larger rooms. My friend had to sit on a stool in the doorway.

Very clean shop, I had a huge thigh piece done full of details and it only took my artist 2 hours to do all the line work. Very friendly staff.

It is NOT easy to get a 5 star review from me off customer service alone, but this place has done it! I called randomly to see if I needed an appointment for a piercing and was met by a very friendly person on the phone. I went in and was greeted immediately. This is important because some tattoo/piercing places like to operate on this whole rude rebel vibe. Im not down with that. Customer service MATTERS in every specialty. Anyway, so before I can even sit down, Trevor welcomes me and tells me hell be right with me. After a very brief wait, he calls me back and we talk about what I want. He was VERY knowledgeable and honest. When i told him Id been somewhere else a few years ago and had to take that piercing out b/c it wouldnt heal right, he didnt disparaged the place. He was very polite. Very professional. I would totally go back to him! He thoroughly explained the process and proper aftercare. Its important to note, I have several tattoos so this wasnt my first visit to a tattoo shop. I was impressed.

Trevor did a fantastic job piercing my lip. Very little pain. Quick and on point.Helped me select the right ring size to accommodate the unavoidable swelling that comes with a new piercing. Exactly what I needed. Very comfortable. Also assisted me in changing out my captive ball septum piercing for the first time with a piece I bought there. Very reasonable prices on body jewelry. Nice clean friendly shop.

Very clean and professional the guy who re-pierced my nose made sure it was in the exact same spot as the old piercing. He was quick thorough and consistent with piercing my nose and performed the piercing the exact way he described it to me. I was nervous but he made me very comfortable.. Definitely going back!!

This place is great. My friends have gotten multiple piercings here and I plan to get one here over the summer. They were super helpful and nice. Its also very sanitary. Theyre very happy with their piercings and have had no problems whatsoever. A couple of us had bad experiences at TRX so we were very happy when it worked out with All Star.

Went here to get my nipples pierced. I was quite nervous and Trevor was very friendly and helped me relax. He was professional and quick and everything is healing up very nicely. I will definitely come back for my next piercing.

Trevor was absolutely GREAT. I had my nose pierced a few weeks ago there while in St. Louis. He was so gentle I never even felt it. I got sick and went back to get a longer post from all the nose running and he was STILL excellent with me. Id definitely get another one with him. (Easy on the eyes too) ~KY~

I came in a few weeks ago for a piercing and everyone i spoke to was so kind, and the piercer (chelsea, i believe) was super nice and very professional and informative! i came in for a tattoo today and Diego was AMAZING. i found him through their instagram and decided he was the perfect fit for what i wanted, so i sent him a DM and got everything set up for a walk in! i was immediately greeted with smiles from Amy, who i believe is the receptionist. she got me set up with the waiver and within minutes, Diego came and said hi and already had the stencils ready and asked me about sizing! a few minutes later i was ready to go back and start the tattooing! he was extremely friendly and had great vibes! Amy came to see how it was going and we had a very nice and heartwarming conversation for almost half the session, and came back a couple times to check up! i will never go to another shop again, this place was so comfortable and felt like home (:

First time at this place. Such a wonderful and welcoming environment.I got Diego as my artist on a Sunday for a walk in. He was detailed, friendly, talkative, and comforting.This is exactly the experience everyone should have when being tattooed, whether it’s a first tattoo or a 100th sitting.I can’t wait to return for my next one!

Huge shout out to Diego! It is very hard to ask another artist to basically trace another artists work, but thats exactly what I requested of him. And he did the most amazing job I could not be more pleased with my tattoo! The artist feels the same way if you were wondering. Nate and his team are nothing less than the best! From their professionalism, cleanliness, quality and customer service… They provide the absolute best experience in St. Louis for your inking needs! I got my tattoo 3 years ago but I figure a late review is better than none, and I want to give this place the credit it deserves. I did very extensive research because it was my first tat, and I chose Jeremy because of his incredible detail with black and white pieces (which was what I wanted). The staff was VERY friendly and kind to me, especially since I was pretty nervous before getting started. They actually called me about an hour before the scheduled appointment because there was time for me to come in early, so talk about a fast wait time! Jeremy was so patient and his work is absolutely stunning. Its been 3 years and only now am I needing to get it touched up! The line work, shading, and proportions are perfect, and the store was clean and very professional. I have some future tattoos that Id love to come back for, but if you want some fantastic black and white work now, Jeremy all the way! It was a tad pricey but not crazy by any means, and to me, a well-done tattoo in a safe, clean environment is worth so much more than saving a buck somewhere that will half-ass it.

STEVEN IS AMAZING!!! He did a land before time tattoo on my thigh and I couldn’t be more in love!!! If you’re looking for a great artist look no more. Ask for STEVE!!! Thank you again!!

Got a nose ring and tongue pierced by Trevor. Great experience, super clean place with friendly staff. I have since gone back 2 more times to get tattooed from Trevor. He does such an incredible job on taking my inspiration pictures and making them better then I could imagine!! 10/10 would recommend. Will 100% be back for more!

I came back home to Saint Louis for back in September for my birthday and decided that I was going to get a spontaneous tattoo before I go back to Atlanta. My tattoo artist Diego was literally amazing. He made my spontaneous decision a great decision. He was super nice and polite the entire time. He was patient with me because I was a little inebriated the evening prior to so it was more painful than anticipated. But even then he still made it a great experience for me. Not to mention that my tattoo healed with no problems and probably is the best looking tattoo I have on my body right now. LOL. Next time I go to Saint Louis I will definitely be returning for another.

On the whole I was thoroughly impressed with the atmosphere of this place. I had my septum pierced with a 16g stainless steel circular barbell (I requested one of the tiniest pieces of jewelry they offer, and my piercer Chris was quite accommodating). He was extremely professional yet friendly and chill - I felt completely at ease.The entire process took less than 10 minutes, but Chris gave me plenty of time to be sure I felt 100% stable before standing up and walking out; even grabbed me a cup of water and a piece of candy when I began to feel lightheaded after he put in the jewelry. As this was my first experience with piercings (other than earlobe), I was very appreciative of his efforts to be sure I felt calm and supported.Im planning to have my conch piercing done next month, and strongly considering returning to All Star. :)

Cool place they worked with me on price. Not making this about race ,but me as a black guy they did not make me feel uncomfortable and they were very friendly and nice. Clean cool environment the piercing guy is super cool laidback and knows what he doing. Everyone was cool

I got a piercing and tattoo from Trevor. He did a wonderful job with both. I am already planning on coming back to All Star to help me finish my sleeve! If you are looking for a great price with great people then look no further. Also, they always have AMAZING music.

Draven was very professional and nice. He walked me through every step before he did it. I would recommend him and this place to anyone. I got my belly button pierced at another shop a couple of years ago, which immediately got infected and was painful because of how high it was placed. I eventually got it redone by Draven and have not had any problems with it and love the placement of it. Will definitely be going back.

Erin at the front desk was amazingly welcoming. I decided to get my second and third tattoos done here because I had work done at Trader Bobs by Andy, and wanted him again as my artist. Turns out he works at both shops, and I was only in town for a few days, so i stopped in. He drew out exactly what I wanted and did an amazing job. The price was better than anywhere else I have been. I recommend Allstar to everyone!

Today I went in for a targus piercing. I went to All Star because their piercer Trevor had so many great reviews. Im very happy I went there. Trevor is awesome. Hes comforting and personable. Hes knowledgeable and thorough. Hes very easy to talk to, explains everything, and doesnt rush you. If you ever want a piercing, you wont be disappointed with All Star.

Ive gotten a few piercings and tattoos done here and have always had a great experience. I very recently got my nipples pierced from Chelsea. I came in shaking and near panicking but it ended up actually being a great time, I have never been more comfortable getting a piercing. Super easy, super professional, super accomidating. And very sweet! And with such an intimate piercing its extra impressive. Thanks Chelsea💕 and All Star!

Just went and got my nose pierced, my friend got her cartilage/helix pierced. There was a bit of a wait but as soon as Chelsea got there she had us both done within ten minutes! She was super nice, and neither of us really felt any pain! She was so quick and thorough, and she explained everything really simply and answered all of our questions. Would definitely come back!

Excellent tattoo shop. Very professional and clean. This is the 6th tattoo Ive gotten there. Hands down one of the best shops in St. Louis.

Came here for my first tattoo and I am absolutely thrilled with the ink and the experience as a whole. I was greeted with smiling faces by the friendly, attentive staff and only had to wait a few minutes despite having no appointment. I told Andy (my artist) what I was looking to get and he whipped up a few alternatives in a flash. Andy did a great job putting me at ease and describing what to expect. I enjoyed our conversation throughout the session and he was more than willing to answer any questions. The price was extremely reasonable and I was provided with both verbal and written instructions on how to care for my tattoo upon leaving. I would definitely recommend this shop (and Trade Bobs, which is under the same ownership and actually share some artists/staff), and I would return if/when I decide to get another tattoo.

This place is AWESOME!! The music was great, staff was amazingly helpful and welcoming. I originally only wanted my ears pierced but i was very impressed with the piercer and also got my tongue and navel pierced(not at the same time) I absolutely love all my piercings and even convinced my husband to get his tongue pierced...which we both enjoy. My husband recently went back and got a tattoo and the detail on his tattoo was freaking unbelievable. Naturally i had to get a tattoo myself...which i did...and LOVE IT!! The tattoo artist didnt rush his job and allowed me breaks on sensitive parts during the tattoo. The receptionist is very welcoming when you first come in. My piercing change was quick and painless the piecer herself seemed a bit bothered like she didnt really care for the small talk, but overall she did a nice job.

DO NOT GOT TO THIS SHOP FOR PIERCINGS!!! I cant speak on their tattoo artist. The guy who did my septum piercing a couple of months ago was terrible. He pierced it so low that it was nowhere near any cartilage. It was hanging off the skin. This made the piercing shift even lower into the skin. I cant believe he actually looked at it, after it was finished, to check his work. Then, he looks me in the eyes and tells me it looks great. I had to get it taken out and redone at another shop. When I reached out to speak to the overall manager, they wouldnt let me speak to him/her or give me their contact info. They wouldnt give me my money back and offered to redo the piercing. Why would I come back and let you mess me up twice??

Today was the first day that I have gotten anything else pierced than my ears [I got my nose done] and this was the best place to go. The workers were friendly, my piercer Chris was professional and extremely sanitary. He cleaned my nose throughouly [inside, around, and outside] opened the needle in front of me, and walked me through the process. I got to choose how big I wanted the stud and where I wanted it. He told me about proper piercing care and was extremely friendly. This was the best place to go for my first experience, and Ive heard nothing but good things about All star. 100% recommend.

Trevor took a photo of my grandma’s China pattern and ran with it. It’s my first tattoo and I’m in love with it. He was kind and patient and took the time to not only help me feel comfortable, but to tell me what was happening as he did it. I will be back, and if you choose to go there, ask for him. You will not regret it!

Friendly staff made me comfortable when getting my nose pierced even though I was a big scaredy cat. Very clean environment with knowledgeable employees that are happy to answer any and all questions you have also. If I needed my septum reported for any reason Id go back to this place without a doubt!

Love this place. I went in after work one day and they got me right in. I love the work I received it is great. I get lots of compliments. The colors are so bright.

I went in for a tongue piercing and it was an easy experience. It was fast and easy and the people there are great. They will take great care of you and Ill definitely go back if I want more piercings.

I got my first tattoo there and a helix piercing done and amazing job on the tattoo. The piercing was causing me problems and when I went in to get looked at Trevor wasnt there and I was told that the piercing was doing fine even though I was in a lot of pain. I took it out shortly after that when i should have just called to see if Trevor was in the next day. Definitely will go back for another piercing

I came in with my fiance on Thursday evening (8/15/19). Shelby helped my fiance and Chris helped me. All of the staff was pleasant and helpful. We both received professional service, excellent artistic work, and a fair/competitive price. I would, and will go back, when in the St. Louis area again. Thanks guys!

I went here for my navel piercing, and the service was fantastic. Since i had such a great experience the first time, I decided to come here for my first tattoo. Chris was my artist, who worked from a picture I found on the internet. He pulled it off fantastically and made the rose look so realistic and elegant, its unbelievable! Also reasonably priced for this amazing work!! I would recommend this place over every shop in STL.

She did a great job re-piercing my nose for the 3 time, .... I had 2 closed nose piercing, with scarred tissue but Chelsea Did awesome !! The tattoo shop is clean and they have a lot of experienced staff however, the prices are high. The tattoo design was brought in and drawn by us and not the tattoo artist. Two minor changes were made by the tattoo artist but overall the tattoo was very simple and only included lines, no shading, no coloring. It was about 3.5in by 4in. $220 for something that small that took less than 20 minutes of tattooing especially when the tattoo artist didnt design it. The staff was respectful and kind however I dont recommend this place to get something simple and that small as the price doesnt match the work.

I would highly recommend this tattoo shop for anyone getting their first tattoo or any tattoo for that matter. Ive gotten both my tattoos here and a piercing. The staff is super friendly and helps put you at ease, if youre nervous. My family hasbeen coming here since before I was born and every tattoo is exactly what you would hope for. My boyfriend went to a different tattoo shop and I could not stand the level of ignorance and laziness compared to Allstar. Always a fun place to be and always a kind and caring staff. Theyre also very consistent in their work. For the work they do, their prices are very low, compared to other tattoo shops that dont compare to Allstar. I will definitely be coming here for my tattoos in the future!

Their work is okay but we ended up paying $300 for a touch up on a tattoo that was faded and that only took about 45min. That is WAY too much considering no fine detail was added just shading and a very small amount of color. As I said they all do okay work and the shop is clean, the tattoo itself looks good but considering this wasnt a brand new tattoo and the artist didnt have to design anything on his own it should have been MUCH cheaper especially since it only took about an hour.I dont know how a one hour touch up turned into $300 but just so everyone knows its way too much, every shop Ive been too charges a flat rate per hour not just whatever they feel like, do not go to a shop that makes up prices. Plus we were quoted 250 max but thought the artist was highballing and then we ended up paying more. Overcharged and was ripped off.

Tl;dr - Great experience with ear piercings!!First disclaimer, I HAVE NO TATTOOS (yet). I go here for all my piercings (3 so far) and I’ve had a relaxing and professional experience every time. When I was nine years old I got the usual lobe piercings at Walmart where they used a piercing gun... and I had such terrible infections in both ears for about a year afterward. This experience has made me afraid to get any piercings since, especially because I have sensitive skin. In 2019 I looked into it again and learned that tattoo parlors use needles rather than guns which are gentler on the sensitive skin tissue, so I thought maybe I had an actual chance to get more piercings without any trouble!The first lobe piercing I got with All Star Tattoo was a year ago and I had absolutely no problems. Then I got a cartilage piercing around the same time, following their instructions for about a year and there have been no issues. Tonight I went in for another lobe piercing, and I expect no further issues with this one as well. I love this place, and if I ever get a tattoo, the professionalism and knowledge of the staff has sealed my decision to give only All Star Tattoo my business. Keep up the good work, guys.

Went into this shop after I lost a piece of an earring. After having a not so pleasant experience at another local shop, I was hesitant to try somewhere different. However, I am wishing I would have started at All Star! Not only were they extremely friendly, but they provided for me exactly what I needed (without charging me for a whole new earring). They even assisted me with putting my piercing back in. Chris was wonderful! Thank you so much!

I had my nose pierced by TREVOR and he was great. It was quick and did not hurt but a little which is to be expected. The entire staff was friendly and service was great. I would recommend having a piercing expierence at All Star Tattoo!

I am not the type of person to leave reviews anywhere but there was no way I couldnt shout out this business. I left my session last night with the biggest smile on my face because Trevor blew my expectations out of the water. I was just a walk-in session at the end of the night and everyone was still so nice to me. There was not one moment where I felt uncomfortable, everyone was so welcoming and professional. I came in with an idea in mind (attached a photo) and left with a tattoo that was so much better. 10/10 I could go on for forever about how amazing this experience was but I will definitely be back soon. Great experience Great customer service. Found out about this place from a referral of an associate. Within 2 weeks of visiting twice I had an eye brow piercing as well as conch piercing by Dre and yesterday Chelsea did my rook piercing. Theyre both such professional when it comes to what theyre doing. My nerves were on 10 prior to but the pain during and after procedure was at a 0 to 1!!!!! Went here to get my nipples pierced. it was super quick and easy. one of my nipples swelled up so bad that it covered the jewelry. i went back and the piercer replaced it no problem. great service! the guy at the front desk is also really cute lol.

Went in with my mom last night and they still had about 3 hours before closing. My mom wanted a Phoenix on one shoulder blade and a saying that goes with it on the other. They were not accommodating at all. Didnt even attempt to talk about the size or coloration she would want, they just said they would only have time for the saying. I was originally going to talk about the Phoenix and saying (same as she was getting just bigger) but they said oh we cant start something that size tonight, so I started telling them about a bracelet tattoo I want with save me/ Im fine saying intertwined into it.... once again the other tattoo artists response was they wouldnt have time for the bracelet part tonight he could just put the saying on and I can come back for work on the bracelet. Now I want all of you to know my wrists are tiny so it would not have taken that long at all, just a little effort which they refused to put into our requests. So since he said no to the bracelet I let him know I also want the word faith on my upper ribs/left side. I am pleased with the work. The tattoos look good but extremely displeased with the effort made by the staff and also with the prices. I feel like we were both charged way too much especially with how they put very little to no effort into what we really wanted. Will prob be going somewhere else next time for the rest of what we want done.

Everyone at All Star, from the front desk to my tattoo artist, Andy, were super friendly & very professional but made it a fun experience also. I got a mastectomy tattoo so it was obviously in an intimate place on my body but Andy made me feel very comfortable. Would recommend All Star to anyone.

I got a cartilage piercing for my birthday is October. Later, I had to get the metal jewelry switched out with a plastic piece for my surgery, which the piercer did for free. Very nice place, such a great staff. Cant wait to go get more piercings. :)

A friend and I came here for a pretty simple tattoo- not a tattoo that needed to be drawn out or anything. We walked in probably about 4 or maybe 5 hours before close, and the front desk lady was awesome- super friendly and prompt in giving us the paperwork to fill out. After that, we waited for about an hour and a half- which isnt the reason for the rating since I know I didnt make an appointment. A tattoo artist came out to meet us- I dont remember his name, he was an older guy, and I explained what I wanted (a Pontiac firebird) on the inside of my left calf above my ankle. I showed him the size I wanted and he came back with something MUCH bigger, I asked him to make it smaller, he reduced it a tiny bit, and this happened a couple more times and he said sorry I cant do it any smaller than that- thats just going to have to do. I go into his little shop corner, everything is clean etc. so thats good. I sit down and adjust my leg until he says all good, and he says youre going to want to lay back. I said Im fine for right now actually I like to watch my tattoos get done and he said no youre going to want to lay back, and then lowered the chair. I told him how I wanted it colored in and he said he couldnt do that at all (just a basic black and a yellow tone, nothing crazy). He had just gotten the ink out and thank GOD I decided to ask him how much it was going to cost. He said 300!!!!!! This is a tattoo not even 3 inches square, with no detail, no drawing, only one color. I ask him okay thats a little high what if I just did the outline and he said 250, the outline is all the work, have you never gotten a tattoo before? Theyre expensive I said okay I guess Ill come back some other time fully planning not to, and then paid my $50 deposit and left.The next day I went to my shop that I normally go to, for the same design but with the colors where I wanted them and everything, for $100 (not including tip), with much better customer service.This happened back in January and I just never posted a review, but tonight I was looking for a new shop to try out and came across this one and just had to say my piece.

Meehhh.. 4 words approx 3 inches long and 1/2 inch wide but $120.... Worse part is 2 of the words run together and I shouldnt have paid but did.. Chose this place based off of reviews but wasnt so great for me and will not be back. Gave 2 stars for convenient waiver process and how quickly I was accommodated as a walk in. Other than that, good luck.

The guy that did my piercing was AMAZING. He was so sweet and super understanding when I started to get clammy since I hadnt eaten all day and got 3 piercings in one sitting. Definitely coming back.

Just got my daith pierced by Trevor. My usual tattoo place doesnt do piercings, and I was really nervous to try somewhere new, especially since this was my first real piercing with a needle instead of a gun at Claires. Trevor was so nice and friendly, and had me completely at ease from start to finish. Ill definitely go back for any future piercings.

Diego was UH-MAZING!!! He literally put me to sleep, and no I dont have a bunch of Tattoos my last tat was 6 years ago!!! Like I had to ask him was it going to stick he chuckled and asked me why did ask that I said because I can barely feel you doing anything also he was sooooooo patient (we had to reposition it a few times before he started) I have one more that I want to get and he will definitely be the one to do it. I definitely recommend this shop and Diego!!!!

I had my left upper arm by my elbow tattooed in 2014. My artist took my picture of an owl holding a key, and did it perfectly!! He was even able to get it to fit around some previous tattoos. Sorry for not writing a review then, but I cant wait to go back. I live in Arkansas and will happily travel to All Star for every tattoo/piercing that I get in the future. We have a lot of work to do!!

I have gotten all 3 of my tattoos from here and my family comes here as well. I love this tattoo place and recommend it to everyone. I’ve brought 3 friends here to get tattooed before as well. Tonight I was surprised when the tatto artist, Chris, gave no input at all when we had questions. My friend wanted a saying on her ribs and asked about placement and he said “Everyones different.” I completely understand that response, but when I got my rib tattoo the artist told me to go higher up if I could. He continued to say if I become pregnant or gain weight then it won’t stretch and effect it as much. I do not remember the artists name who did my rib but he was very helpful and we went off what he said to place my friends since Chris couldn’t help. It was my turn to get a tattoo and I showed Chris two pictures of the same idea of just a cross. He brought me printed out crosses on white paper. I asked him if he could make it longer and narrower and if he could draw it. I also asked if he could put it on clear paper so I could visualize better on my body before making it permanent. He then told me that was too much work. I finally just walked out without the tattoo I wanted. This is the only bad review I have on this place and it souly has to do with the artist Chris. I plan on coming back to fulfill the tattoo in mind, but next time hope to have someone a little more engaged with my needs like the first artists I had.

If your going to get a piercing/tattoo I 100% recommend coming to All Star Tattoo. Everybody their is very friendly so if your nervous they will make you feel comfortable and relaxed. The place is very clean and they wash their hands before doing any work. I just got my first double ear lobe piercing and will be coming back to get my first tattoo.

Got my first tattoo there and except for the wait (took about 3 hours from time I got there till I was finished )I was very pleased with the results. Chris did the work and he was awesome.I had a small picture of what I wanted and he made sure I was happy before he started.A bit pricey but totally worth it. I will be back there for sure.

I got a piece done in 2019, and the artist was able to match the coloring and lining to a previous tattoo. The coloring still looks great. I will be returning to All Star for my next tattoo.

But I was nervous 😟 I had watched a bunch of YouTube videos on getting a nose piercing it almost made me change my mind but I’ve gotten piercings before for example my ear cartilage and my navel piercing hurt way more I honestly didn’t feel the needle go in and after it was done it kind of felt sore like tight braids but right now I don’t feel it all and it’s been like 4 hours hopefully it heals just as good a the piercing went Thanks 🙏 again and I will definitely be back😜 💯 btw I used lidocaine 5% on my nose 20 minutes before I got there and I took 3 Aleve. So anyone considering nose piercing don’t be scared 😱 it’s not bad at all and it’s so cute!

All I can say is wow. I understand businesses are suffering due to COVID19, however there is no reason to charge a $100 shop minimum and inflated prices on tattoos. No wonder its not a wait at the shop. They wanted to charge me $250 for a tattoo that ended up cost $125.

I visit here all the time. All the artists are great. Piercers are wonderful. Mandy is a gem. Everyone is super friendly and remembers me when I come in. I recommend them to all my friends!

I have went to this place twice before and had a good experience. I tried calling and emailing this place to set an appointment for me and my friend but no answer, no response. So we try the walk in thing and when my friend got her small wrist tat priced outrageously high, she decided against it.I have plenty of tattoos n pay good money (with tip) for them but i dont think they wanted to do hers because it was more then I paid for 2 matching tattoos from here last yr. I wont be back. It was almost insulting.

This my second time going to Allstar... My 1st time Chris was my Artist the 2nd time it was Diego and I was so please with the Angel that has a ribbon with the color purple in honor of my Daddy. I cant wait to go get my next one

Over the years Ive been to All Star for piercings, tattoos and laser tattoo removal...Its a solid shop for all of the above!Great people, clean environment, good equipment and reasonable prices.Plus they always have an abundance of suckers!

I drove around lost for a while and found them by accident. As soon as I walked in I was greeted, then walked back to another desk. Within thirty seconds another guy helped me. I needed my septum jewelry opened and had it in a baggie. He asked if it was clean and sanitized and I said yes so he opened it and threw them back in the bag. Even though they were sanitized he still washed his hands (which a lot of shops wouldnt do) and I left. They werent too talkative, but the staff was efficient and very helpful.

Every one was super nice and helpful. The shop is immaculate. My piercer was quick and friendly. Would definitely recommend them to anyone thinking about getting a tattoo or piercing.

Let me first say Id give the shop 5 stars but the artist that I had, Ryan brown, Id give him none if I could, I went in there on today (Saturday) and the guy at the front was so helpful and so nice and another man came and greeted me also so so nice, I had drawn the tattoo I wanted myself, hand drawn, simple but there was a couple details, I was handed over to Ryan he was nice when he greeted me after handing him my drawing he told me it was too small for the detail and I was okay thats no promble, he took it back with him making me think he was going to copy and resize it. I sat down excited, and ready, he came back with a completely different drawing that was way more realistic and detailed, it was beautiful but not what I wanted and its my body and I also didnt have the money for that because it wouldve cost way more. I explained I wanted it more cartoony and like mine, let me say Im super shy so me telling him ummmm I wanted mine I clearly stated that, just wasnt something I wanted to do because Im trying to be nice, he came back a second time with basically the same drawing, I said about the same thing as the first that I wanted more cartoony, he then states in a awful tone I dont know how more cartoony it can get but okay I was just like um okay I wanted to scream I WANT MINE DUDE. The third time around he came back and it was like mine now but not the detail I wanted and honestly I wanted my drawing so I nicely asked I love it, its very good but why couldnt we just do mine again? He went and grabbed it and babbled something trying to come up with something other than the obvious reason of he couldnt do it or thought his was way way better but finally he looks at my drawing and looks at me and says because its just not drawn right. I was trying not to cry because i have huge anxiety and Im young hoping to become a tattoo artist myself. I didnt know what to say and then he then says just forget it I cant do this its not drawn right just go to some other artist that will do minors then proceeded to crumble up my drawing act like him was going to throw it away and I was just like can I have my drawing back he basically just threw it at me and left. Its a shame cuz I loved my first tattoo I got there but I cant support some place with someone who treats me like that, I understand if its not your style all you have to say tho is hey listen I dont feel comfortable doing this its just not my style here is another artist that could probably do it, im sorry again but no I got blamed and torn down on something I worked hard on and didnt ask for opinions on. Like I said its a shame because they have good artist there but him, I dont recommend going and risking getting or go and ask for someone else.

My artist, Chris I believe was his name, was exceptionally patient and kind for this first-timer. He did a magnificent job with my wood-block phoenix on my left scapula. Id make a trip all the way back from LFK (Rock Chalk, Jayhawk) to have him do the next one I desire, the sigil for House Stark of Winterfell.

Very nice and comfortable shop. The man I got explained everything to me and exactly how to clean and how moisturizer my tat. I would highly recommend this shop.

I went with my cousins. She got her nose pierced, turned out fine. I got a small tat on my foot from Luke. Took maybe 15 minutes. He didnt talk much or anything, but the tat looks good and everything seemed legit.

This is the 2nd time weve visited within a year. My son always receives excellent quality care and professional services. They are very attentive and compassionate people.

I went for a Daith piercing and the young lady was great. They have COVID-19 procedures in place. I felt safe and the piercing was great.

This place is okay but the minimum tattoo must be $100. My sisters and I wanted 5 small hearts on our arms, no color or anything, and they wanted to charge us $100 each. Seems a bit ridiculous.

I go to Luke. Hes amazing. Best in STL. Hes high dollar, as he should be. Not only is his work the best in STL, hes gentle. I cant recommend him enough. I would never go anywhere else.
