Rae did a fantastic job with my Chinese zodiac-inspired pig. She was incredibly patient and kind, letting me taking a breath in between. Best tattoo experience so far!

OMG, I had the most incredible experience at this hidden gem of a tattoo place in St. Louis! Rae is not only a super talented artist but also the sweetest person ever. The retro vibes with vintage Pokémon toys and McDonalds happy meal toys totally won me over. And get this, they had screens at each station so I could watch my favorite shows while getting inked! Rae did an amazing job on my in memory of tattoo. Its such a beautiful and meaningful piece that Ill cherish forever. If youre looking for an amazing tattoo artist with a unique and cozy atmosphere, Rae is the one to go to. Highly recommend!

First tattoo ever so a bit nervous, but the results were far beyond what I couldve hoped for. Laura took the time to listen to my ideas and include them into her work. During the tattoo process she asked questions and made sure that it met both of our standard. All my future tattoos will go through Cousin Pauls Tattoo

Laura is an AMAZING artist and a wonderful person! I told her I wanted a Geisha, she drew it up and shes absolutely beautiful. On the same arm she also drew up a dragon that is perfect. These are a few years old and still look beautiful (I also have alot of other tattoos from her). We were trying to make a full sleeve but I moved to Alabama before we could get it finished. She had been my tattoo artist for over 10 years and I wish she couldve continued to be my artist. Its going to be hard to find someone like her, if I ever do. I definitely recommend Laura, her artists and her shop.

I’ve been getting tattooed from artists at this shop for the past 4 years and I love it! The artists are top notch. The place is clean. People are friendly. This place is welcoming and not pretentious at all. The artists all listened to what I wanted and made it a pleasant experience.I’ve gotten tattooed by Laura, Melissa and Amanda. Highly recommend!

Avacyn is the absolute best! She just finished my floral sleeve that weve been working on since last year, and I am beyond ecstatic with how it turned out. She is so incredibly talented and really knows how to make an idea come to life.

It has been an absolute delight getting my half sleeve done here. Got recommended to the place by a different tattoo shop when I talked about what I wanted. My tattoo artist, Dan is a marvel and did fantastic work. The rest of the artists, though I didnt get work done by them, were always sweet and easy to talk too. Definitely will be making this my new spot and will be suggesting them to my friends as well.

I had Natalie for a Friday the 13th session and picked out a design she did as well. Let me tell you - her vibes are impeccable, shes fast and amazing at what she does, and very communicative, kind, and talented. I went to her for my next planned tattoo and once again she delivered a great design, was quick but also detailed, and I honestly think Ill be going to her for the foreseeable future!

I love everything about Cousin Paul’s- the safe environment, LGBTQ+ accepting environment. So many talented artists at this shop; however, I have to maximize on Natalie. She creates such a fun, and safe environment. She takes good attention to detail on your work and will take her time to make sure you are absolutely satisfied. After researching several tattoo shops in the St Louis area, my daughter and I decided on Cousin Pauls. The shop and the owner, Laura, exceeded all our expectations. I highly recommend this shop for all of your tattoos. This was our first tattoo, but I have a feeling it wont be our last. Good communication between us and Laura - she answered our most basic questions with patience and provided us with more information than expected. With all her years of experience, she is very knowledgeable about the whole process from beginning to end. Both of us have learned a lot from her. Our tattoos are healing nicely and look great! Better than we expected. Very clean shop and all employees are professional. We met Jeremy at our appointment. I found out the following week that my co-worker had her two tattoos done by Jeremy, and she also recommended him and Cousin Pauls. Small world! I cant say enough good things about Cousin Pauls Tattoo Co., and Laura.

Of all of the places where I have been tattooed this is by far the best! No question about it. Laura is a phenomenal artist and a great person to talk with and get to know. I had a tattoo that I wanted to get covered up with a platypus and she absolutely nailed it. She drew up an amazing platypus and delivered an even better tattoo than I could have imagined. This was the best tattoo experience I have ever had. I highly recommend going here for any work you need done!

My artist, Jeff, recently moved into this shop so I visited for the first time today and I have to say, it’s a really nice shop. There’s a nice large, comfy waiting area. The place smells good and is very clean with a simple and modern feel. It was a welcomed change from experiences at other shops that are dark, dingy, and stuffy. Everyone else there seemed very friendly and welcoming as well!

Both Laura and Jeremy are the pinnacle of skill and acceptance. They will work with you to figure out the tattoo that YOU will love. They have never been pushy while planning and drawing my 5 tattoos, and have helped me create original artwork unique to my body. I highly recommend the shop

Wally B was amazing, and obviously talented. This was my first tattoo and I was nervous, but he made me feel at ease. He let me help with the design every step of the way, down to every swirl! I am so in love with my tattoo and I cant wait to have Wally tattoo me again; next time I want him to do an American Tradition, which he is also gifted at!

Laura Rocks! I had a tattoo that I felt bullied into excepting in another shop. It was a cartoon version of something I had asked for in a realism style. The tattoo was less than a year old and I knew it would be difficult to cover. I chose to have a consult with Laura because she specializes in cover ups. I chose to have her do the cover up because I was really impressed by her professional demeanor. It took two four hour sessions and another two hour session after a few months of healing to add the final touches. I am so happy with the results! I also had Laura do the original tattoo I had wanted in a new location so now I have exactly what I wanted on my thigh and a beautiful chrysanthemum on my shoulder.

I walked in on a Friday night and was just wanting to meet some artists and review their work. I was referred to Wally from another artist who was in the waiting room. He came out and I had some ideas, he drew one of them up and we decided to go ahead and do it. It’s an amazing tattoo and cannot wait to go in for more work! Thank you!

Laura Bonfanti is a most awesome tattooist! I had her do the two tattoos I have, and people rave over them both. Her shop, Cousin Pauls Tattoo Co., is always clean, and very professional.

Love the work they advertise, but I have left requests for consultations via e-mail to two separate artists and no reply and no auto-response setup informing customers of their status. I even showed up on site and left a note to an artist, and no call back. Just completely turned off by this establishment for any future business at this point.

Greg Schaefer is a fine artist who makes his home currently in this clean and safe location. 4 stars cuz parking....but hey...everything else is great. And co-worker Jeremy is easy on the eyes. Where else you gonna look when getting inked?!

Lora made a great tiny starfield inside characters and a solar system that fits with multiple styles. Her wall has many hidden gems of geekery. Comfortable experience with nice tunes and banter.

Unprofessional artists, no one to answer the phones, had an appointment with a deposit, showed up and the artist had someone else in the chair and turned me away because they forgot I was coming.
