Got a septum piercing here yesterday and the staff was very kind and knowledgeable. They were very patient walking me through how to select jewelry and what to expect when taking care of it. My piercer, Zack, was very calm and straightforward, offering a comfortable experience. I appreciated how laid back he was in explaining the whole process while he was doing it. I will 100% be coming back!

My friend and I told ourselves that WE ARE getting our nipples pierced eventually. When the day finally came, we chose TRX due to hearing about the professionalism and cleanliness of the establishment. They did not fail to prove why we should’ve came there! We were immediately greeted and taken care of by the most friendly staff, and any questions we had were answered with ease. When it was time to go back, we were a tad bit nervous to have needles through our nipples… Zach did not hesitate in making us feel the most comfortable possible while being the upmost respectful and professional. He was quick and GOOD at his profession. It was nice having a piercer who clearly cares more about what they do and their clients as opposed to just getting it done. If we had to do it again, we totally would!! This is your sign to just go to TRX :)))

I absolutely loved the experience I had at this shop. Between the atmosphere and the welcoming people it really made a big difference compared to most tattoo/ piercing shops. Everyone was very polite and professional. They had great option for piercing jewelry. The room and everywhere in between was super clean. I had Zach do my tragus and it was done very well. Definitely will be going back for my other ear and more in the future.

**Updated**My Daughter was gifted several piercings and a tattoo.She had great service from all the staff, and espdcually good service from Zach the piercer who advocated for her and helped her thru some anxiety like a seasoned veteranShe was given meticulous care instructions that she followed and then Zakk helped change jewelry.That was my first time being there and I mentioned to him that my tongue piercing had been out for over 20 years and I missed it.Long story shortUsing his knowledge skills and expertise he slid a post in with ease.UpdateIts been a few months now, my tounge piercing is as healthy as can be. Have gone to this place for a couple tattoos and i have to say i really like it. A nice clean shop very organized and professional. My tattoo artist david is great and has done amazing work i can’t recommend him enough.

We had such a great experience. Super friendly and attentive staff. Got right in. Had a private room for the piercing. Quick, easy, professional, and virtually painless. Super cool atmosphere and decor. Would recommend, will go back !

Weve had fantastic experiences with TRX. Zakk B is an excellent piercer and has a gift for making something that can be scary feel comfortable and safe, especially for kids. Hes extremely kind, patient, and reassuring. Were so glad that a friend recommended him as I cant imagine a better experience.The whole team is helpful, friendly, and welcoming. Im from St. Louis and have been going here and taking my child for over 15 years. Im an over the road trucker and will only go here for piercings. I always have in the past tried places, and their jewelry has fallen out. I had to take my jewelry out for various jobs and recently went back 1st time in 4 years. Sadly, I guess people retire, but I liked who I had. Still same great vibe of people.

I love TRX! gotten three piecing here and plan on getting a couple more in the future. Their piercers are top notch, quality is guaranteed as well as a safe clean environment.

Love the vibe of this establishment! Also, the staff is incredibly kind and knowledgeable. My elementary aged kiddo was very happy with her ear piercing in august, as was I with my 2nd set, and we just went back for a new set of earrings and shorter posts for both of us. Will be back!

Absolutely adored Zach P as a piercer! He made me feel comfortable, immediately understood his client & matched energies accordingly. He had genuine energy/enthusiasm that overpowered any anxiety/nervousness I could have.It was my second time getting my 80085 pierced- but it was the first time it was 99.9% pain free comparatively speaking. Zach was able to align the new piercing with the old holes(as much as possible).Besides the initial needle stick- I have felt 0 pain despite the fact that he pierced through old scar tissue!There was a plethora of jewelry options to be pierced with- which is super important bc many shops offer the “standard/plain barbell”. You should like the way your piercing looks on your body the moment you get it vs telling somebody “wait almost a year before you change the jewelry to what you wanted this whole time”.All in all- the quality/selection of jewelry, the front desk staff, and Zach made this experience so enjoyable! I wish I would’ve went here a decade ago, but I’ll just have to come here for the next decade to make up for it😉

Deborah helped me get my cheap amazon gauges out and gave me a second lobe piercing. she was SO sweet and gentle and personable. shes very humble for being the first female body piercer in STL!!! very cool that i got to be serviced by her and id definitely recommend her to anybody looking to get pierced in the area.

My husband and I were visiting st. louis from san francisco and dropped by for tattoos. Shelby drew up and gave us matching tattoos, she is a fantastic artist and the shop had great vibes. Highly recommend this place.

Went and got pierced today by Zach Powell and if I could give 10 stars I would! All of the people working were super respectful and welcoming, and I appreciated everyone using my preferred pronouns as well the entirety of my visit. Maggie, who helped me pick out jewelry, was amazing and answered all of my questions! Will definitely return for more work in the future:)

TRX is one of the top shops in StL to get poked with needles. Check out David Richert, hes done 3 of my tattoos and were talking about a lot more. Lots of my friends get their ink from him - super creative, knowledgeable, and passionate about his craft and its culture. Good place, good dude, good ink. Do it.

I took my daughter there to get her helix pierced. Rhonda Curtis did an amazing job. She was professional, informative, through and quick. I highly recommend visiting her for your next piercing.

My six year old is absolutely loving her new piercings. Thank you to Rhonda and Kenzie! Rhonda and Kenzie made my child and myself very comfortable. I loved how my daughter was asked many times why she was there and if its her decision. She even signed for herself before I did. Also, Rhonda let my daughter know that at any point shed have a change in mind that shed stop and that my daughter was in charge. It was her body and her choice. We loved that.My daughter loved her certificate and baggie. She had to put her temporary tattoos on immediately and said shes just like Rhonda.Thank you, TRX!

Can’t recommend this place highly enough for piercings! My piercer Shannen was very kind and knowledgeable, took her time making sure the piercing placement was exactly how I wanted it and explained everything she was doing as she went. I felt very comfortable especially because of the amount of training that piercing apprentices receive here compared to other shops. Pricing is great for the quality of the service. Everyone at the front desk is welcoming, patient and helpful! I will definitely be coming back for more once my current piercings heal.

David Richert….thats the guy! He’s my go to every time I get a new tattoo idea. 10000/10 I would recommend booking your next tattoo with him. Very neat, cool as hell, and sanitary. He’s tyyyyyyte! The rose in the photo isn’t his work but the butterflies and the other tats are.

I have always had the most pleasant experiences getting pierced here! Zach Powell has done almost all of my piercings (I highly recommend him) and they always turn out perfect and heal fast, I will never go to another place to get pierced again!! I only wish I lived closer :)

Called to see if they changed out nose piercings they said yes. I went only to find out they cant change it unless I BUY ONE FROM THEM. Mind you they are 30 minutes away from me . WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO KNOW WHEN I CALLED AND BEFORE I GOT THERE. On top of that they didnt even have one i would want , dont call n see if they do anything you’ll be in for a surprise when u get there

I am a die hard TRX fan. Especially the piercer Zakk, the best ever. He is so good at what he does and is so so fun to talk too! I have had a bunch of piercings done here on my ears and face and they have helped with downsizing them and totally everything. I had my septum pierced incorrectly at another local studio and was so pleased when they helped so much with fixing and redoing it. I would so highly recommend. I freaking love this place.

I love my tattoo so much! It’s exactly what I wanted. Logan made me feel really comfortable and offered lots of breaks. Usually my skin feels like hamburger meat after a tattoo but much less swelling and irritation with this one. I’ll definitely be back for my next one. Thanks again Logan!

Ive gotten so many things done here over the past 30 years and have been genuinely satisfied but I did get an extremely crooked piercing one time from this lovely joint alias the 4 stars.🥴

I needed to have a piercing put back on after surgery. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will come into the city just to pick up jewelry or to have it replaced.

Im 16 and yesterday, I came in to get snake bites and my left eyebrow pierced. The moment we(my mother and I) walked in it seems friendly and professional but as we looked at jewlery, the person at the counter was rushing me to make a choice, seeming very impatient. After telling me I couldnt get my snake bites pierced with hoops, I picked out several different pieces of plain metal jewlery. Every single time I chose one, they didnt have all the parts to. I was pushed towards getting the jeweled pieces after stating firmly I did NOT want something with a stone placed in it. When I said Id come back another day to do my snake bites, I was rushed over to the gold pieces and told I could use those options as well. On top of all of the snake bite issues, they had one standard barbell choice that is almost too small for my eyebrow, and is not doing great with all the swelling im experiencing. After we had everything worked out and the proper forms sorted etc, we had to wait just a few minutes and were pulled into the piercing room. My piercer was Zach, a very friendly, funny, and positive person. I felt confident that the experience would be fine, until he pierced me. He first used the straight needle, then a plastic place holder(?) and then put in my jewlery, all without forceps. Each time, pulling the material all the way through. It was so immensely painful and my face/hairline was covered in blood. Halfway through threading my jewlery through, it got stuck and he couldnt find the other side for the jewlery to come out at. During my piercing, I had no clue this was all why it was hurting so much, but my mom did. Since she had an eyebrow piercing and knew my pain tolerance, she knew something was wrong when I was saying how badly it hurt. Although the damage was done, and he cant just, take out the hole he had now put into my face. After the whole ordeal was over, I was cleaned up and walked to the front to pay. Over the phone I was quoted for $58 and in store I payed about $75 after tax. The jewlery itself(a plain titanium barbell) was about $30-$40, I dont precisely remember. Either way, the experience was more painful than it should have been, and the jewlery was more expensive than it should have been. I do NOT recommend this place for piercings.

I got my ear pierced here and it never fully healed after 2 years. I tired changing piercings but that didn’t work. So I went back to try to see if that help. The piercer recommended hot and cold compress not looking at how many piecing I have like it’s my first rodeo. The piercer then ripped out my threadless piecing and told me to take a deep breath. When I said this hurt more then the piercing itself it HURT. And I’ve had it pierced 3 times. I also had it changed 2 times. If anything, it’s more irritated now. I could of caused lesser trauma to myself then going into the shop. I get that they were super busy but going to a certified shop I was going for the experience and the proper service. The front workers were great! they were over whelmed by the rush but still had a smile on their face. They gave me options and helped me looked up prices without making me feel rushed. And I saw them do that with other customers. I just don’t appreciate the the trauma that was done to ear. It’s probably going to take longer to heal.

Zach was amazing! I was super freaked out about getting my nipples pierced but he made the process smooth, quick, and easy! Would definitely recommend!!

Got my eyebrow pierced here today. Got pierced by someone named Zack. He was super nice and professional, good sense of humor, cute too lol. He made sure that the placement of my piercing was where I wanted it to be and Im loving the result! 😍

LOVED this place! Everyone at the front desk was so friendly and welcoming. I walked in for a piercing and even though there were a few people in front of me, I was still in and out within about an hour. Zach was wonderful and had me laughing the whole time, he made it so much more relaxing. Best piercing experience Ive had!

My youngest (6 years old) had been begging for months to get her ears pierced. We made an appointment and drove an hour to get there. Her piercer ended up calling out that day so they put us with a different one, Zack. Once we got in the room, her nerves showed up and she was pretty scared. He helped her work through her nerves and was so kind and patient! He did a great job and she couldnt be happier! Absolutely worth the money and the drive!!

Edit: I’m editing my initial review after speaking with the owner. He was very disappointed that I had a bad experience and assured me that he’d handle it. I appreciate him taking the time to talk with me.I went with my friend to look at body jewelry and get a tattoo. The guy behind the counter told us there wasn’t a tattoo artist in at that time. So we opted to look at their jewelry selection.After asking about belly button jewelry, the guy rudely told me that I “don’t have the right body type for a belly button piercing”. I did my research before getting it done and I’ve been assured by several professionals that I can in fact get this piercing.I was so shocked at his response that I asked him two more times what he meant. He kept repeating “you don’t have the right belly type” with no further explanation. My friend started asking about jewelry for her piercing and he was very cold and condescending to her also. Towards the end of the conversation he said “I’m going to remove myself from this” and walked away.I hardly ever leave reviews for businesses but this interaction was completely unacceptable and embarrassing. So I guess because I’m not a size 5 I don’t have the right body for a piercing. I will never come back to this establishment again.

I saw Zach today to get my earlobe holes reopened and new jewelry put in, as well as a helix piercing. A friend and I chose TRX because they are the only APP certified piercers in the St. Louis Metro Area. Zach was super nice, educated, and gave me a lot of placement options. the piercing room was CLEAN and comfortable, and he definitely did everything he could to maintain a sterile and clean environment. I will absolutely be back!

I had an impulsive need to get my Daith pierced. I had no appointment and walked in and was greeted by all employees right away. Rhonda ( assume the manager) was who took care of me immediately. She was very supportive and gentle. It didnt feel the best, but she made the experience as painless as possible. Very pleasurable experience. Thank you Rhonda @ TRX team!

Shelby was the best! They designed my entire tattoo; with my honestly pretty poor description. They drew up a first draft which really helped us get the idea down. Then they absolutely nailed it on the second draft! I was very nervous since it was my first tattoo but Shelby made sure I was totally comfortable the entire time. They made sure I knew we could take a break if I ever needed but it really didnt hurt much at all like I expected so we had great conversation and they kept working for the entire 5 hour process. Wonderful people. Very clean. Very friendly yet still professional whenever they need to be. Shelby is definitely my tattoo artist for life. Especially if you have dyed hair and pronouns, TRX is the place to go in St Louis!

We got septum and nose piercings here, great experience. Clean, kind and a jewelry area with some beautiful and unique pieces, especially if your ears are stretched.

My boyfriend and I had an appointment Saturday to get our tattoos done. The appointment was at 11 when they opened and when we went to enter the building we were blocked from coming in by some young lady asking who we had an appointment with. Which was off putting considering I’ve never had that happen before and it was pretty chilly outside. The people at the counter weren’t the friendliest either. That experience alone I would have rated 3/5.However the tattoo artist Evonne was amazing hence the 5/5 review. She was quick and efficient and did an amazing job. She made me extremely comfortable the whole time.

If I could give negative stars I would. I am completely unsatisfied with the entire process of getting this tattoo. Lets start from the beginning. My best friend from Salt Lake City, Utah was coming in for the weekend and we wanted to get our signatures tattooed because we had been pen pals since middle school. I looked at a lot of different places and was hopeful when i found TRX. I looked at all the Google reviews and went through all the artists and their work and picked 2 people that I really liked. I then called to set up an appointment. I explained my friend and Is situation and the clerk on the phone said that only one of my artist had openings this weekend and so I booked Sunday at 11. When we showed up we met with Dustin, but the clerk had only put us down for a consultation and he didnt have time to do the tattoos. At this point I was a bit disappointed. Then they offered to have Jeff do the tattoos. I was glad but also a little scared because I hadnt seen any of his previous work. We showed him the signatures we wanted and he insisted they were too small (1inchx2inch). He enlarged a copy of it and asked if it was okay, and I told him it was a lot bigger than what I wanted. He insisted he couldnt go any smaller. At this point I asked if I could get a blackened brown instead of straight black (I have very fair skin and cant even wear black mascara). He then insisted I do black, saying he would not touch up or fix it if it wasnt black. My friend and I agreed because we were both really looking forward to these tattoos. I didnt get exactly what I wanted but at least it would be okay, right? Wrong. The lines are crooked and wobbly. You can see every stroke he used. Some of the lines arent even connected! My friends tattoo turned out better than mine (I went second). I am extremely unsatisfied with the end result. It was definitely not worth $50. I am not going back to get it fixed. I already found another artist at a different shop who is helping me get what I want. 0/10 would not go again.

Went there for a left side ONLY nipple piercing and rings for both sides. They told me $242 for everything. I’ve had my nipples pierced 2 other times and NEVER IN HELL PAID OVER $100 for BOTH INCLUDING JEWELRY!!! I went to 3 other shops just to get quotes to see if the nipple piercing market had went up and non of them quoted over $50 dollars for one side to be pierced and jewelry included. I honestly think they didn’t want the business but that’s my personal opinion. Funny thing is a few years back I got my lady part’s pierced at that same shop for under $100 jewelry included. These scrubs that were working there today just thought they could get over. I could’ve gotten a tattoo for the price they were trying to charge for their piercing. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP!!!!

Sister and I got our ears done by Moy. He was very nice and helped keep her as calm as she could get.Very knowledgeable about the transverse lobe piercing I had done and will definitely be going to him from now on.

Its been about 2 weeks, and my flat piercing is doing great. They had me in and out, very straight to the point just how I like it!! Most def would go back for another one.

Exceptionally clean, the decor is awesome, and the service is fantastic. All ID’s checked and proper documentation done, reasonable pricing. Very satisfied with the result!

Everybody has been so kind of this place and very professional. Its the first time Ive had my ears pierced at a tattoo shop and it was so much better than going to one of those flashing the pan places in the mall. I will never go anywhere else!

Ive had overall positive experiences and no adverse reactions to my piercings in the three times Ive gotten pierced. Clean and professional environment. Ive found front desk service to be hit or miss at times.

Zach did my daughters piercing today and he was absolutely amazing! He was so nice and funny, definitely helped calm her nerves. Everyone was incredibly nice and professional and the whole shop was clean with awesome decor.

Walked in 2:18 on Veterans Day 11/11/23 and was not greeted I saw three individuals behind counter. Two were helping one individual as another stood by and one gentleman helping two not sure who received service.I assumed after seeing a gentleman taking a bite and walking back upstairs maybe I was supposed to go somewhere else as I was not helped and I stuck out like a sore thumb there. 2:36pm and I walked over to the other area that says cheap trx just asking if I were to get a nose piercing and I was told that is a different area. I am not the type to get an attitude but I stood in a different area assuming maybe they didn’t see me. Nada. I stayed there and called Iron Age studios just to ask if it’s anything different I need to do. I told them I was literally in the shop and no one is speaking or helping in any way and they were so friendly I left out around 2:42pm and went there.I never received a piercing in St. Louis for their main reason but I saw so many reviews I assumed why not. St. Louis has not changed one bit.I did not want to drive all over to literally purchase a 14k nose piercing( that’s all I wanted) and placed in it possible but I wouldn’t give a dollar to individuals that will not acknowledge anyone that walks in.

I went in on a busy Saturday while they were slammed. The staff was fantastic-- the clerks at the front counter were very friendly and got right on top of welcoming me and getting my paperwork going for a tattoo and some piercings. Jeff was my tattoo artist and asked all the right questions to help get my design sorted. While he printed it out and touched up the stencil, Casey took care of my wife and I in their new piercing room. It was a beautiful room, really clean and comfortable, with well stocked single-use sterile supplies. Caseys sterile space and skills were spot on. She was very friendly and welcoming, making us both feel comfortable and the experience much more fun and enjoyable. Her piercings were even and straight, and she was very confident. My industrial piercing was very quick and smooth! Then Jeff took me upstairs and got my wrist tattoo situated. He was quick and efficient, made me feel at ease, and I enjoyed chatting while he worked. Great parlor with some great people, a wonderful environment, and an aesthetic that is uniquely South Grand. Ill happily be back for more pieces!

Always my #1 go to for any body modification. Stan is the man to see!!! Great prices, fantastic product, and a wonderful and helpful staff. Always clean and friendly. If 10 stars, Id use that option.

We took our two kids here to get their ears pierced. Everyone was wonderful and helped them to feel comfortable and confident throughout the process. Its day 2 and their ears are healing perfectly; no pain, no redness. So happy we ended up going here!

Not only did she explain everything to my wife and me, but she also made sure my daughter was comfortable and understood how big of a step this was. Could not have asked for a better experience. I recently got my second lobe set and first helix piercing at TRX Tattoos & Piercings. The staff was very friendly and made me feel extremely comfortable. I actually got my first lobe piercings done here over 9 years ago and had such a fabulous experience I didn’t even consider looking elsewhere when I wanted to get more. I will definitely be coming back here for any future piercings!

Id heard such rave reviews I was excited to get pierced here. But my peircer was bitter and judgemental and did not share my excitement which made a bad day I was trying to turn around even worse. I was trying to get a series of vertical helix piercings, eventually I want them to be spikes. I explained the concept and he started talking about how kids these days think they are inventing new piercings but its all just old stuff coming back and general bitter hipster rhetoric honestly. Made me feel insecure and intimidated-- I just wanted to know the best thing to call it since my Google results to look for references made me feel like I had the wrong name for it. I told him I could only afford 2 right now but eventually I wanted a third one. Despite this once the peircing was over he told me I probably wouldnt have room for 3 how I wanted them (pointing out from the back of the ear instead of high up on the ear facing up.). He initially marked them really high so he guess I was warned. But still was not great. He could have said before peircing that if he did them at this location there would not be room for a third because when I told him lower I assumed hed stop me if it was too low for what we talked about. Also, despite the name, this is a really really ritzy expensive kind of shop. The jewelry prices were insane. Maybe I am just too poor to be accustomed to the normalization of spending hundreds of dollars on a piece smaller than the head of pin. The girls at the front desk were really animated and fun and welcoming in contrast. This is just my expirience with just one person, maybe having a bad day themselves. Sometimes I think some piercers have a complex about not being a tattoo artists and feel an extra need to build themselves up and put others down defensively since tattoo artists get so much more respect in the community. Nonetheless I dont think Id go here again. Getting a new piercing is a luxury and an excitement for someone like me and the expirience is part of it for me.

I’ve done nothing but support this shop since I got my first tattoo which was 2020… have brought my past bf, bestfriend, and siblings here for the same artist who has now stopped responding to my emails for touch ups on HIS tattoos he’s done. I’ve been emailing for months and since they starting to look a little wonky with NO RESPONSE. Reception told me they’d give him a message and guess what? No response. I remember being told it was free for touch ups. I don’t care about spending money for touch ups, but to completely ghost someone who’s done nothing but give you good business is crazy to me. I will no longer refer anyone here, especially for a tattoo.

Ive been coming to TRX for years. Typically for piercings, but I also have a tattoo I received from an artist who is no longer with the shop. The staff are super friendly and inclusive. This visit, my teenage daughter got her ears pierced and I bought a pair of rose quartz gauges, that I absolutely love. My daughter had a great experience with, Zakk, her piercer and she is extremely happy with her jewelry choice (again, amazing staff). I honestly cant say enough nice things about TRX!

I got my vary first tattoo, with Francine as my artist she did an amazing job!!! Made me feel comfortable and worked fast but also carefully!! well worth it if anyone is looking to get any type of portrait or a tat of a female, i would definitely recommend getting it done by her... ps she is more than willing to work with you on the drawing untill u absolutely love it before she tattoos you... i will add a pic when it heals

Great experience!I went on a busy Saturday to get my ears pierced and barely had to wait. Staff was super friendly, even when I returned 15 mins later asking to have one of the piercings removed. For clarity, Zach had to work around old scar tissue when I asked them to re-do an old standard lobe piercing and my OCD couldn’t handle that it didn’t perfectly match the other side. I was even encouraged to come back in a couple of weeks to try again at no additional cost.

I have wanted to get my nose pierced for 18 years, and it was worth the wait. Shop is beautifully decorated. Front desk staff was knowledgeable and super friendly. Excellent selection of jewelry. Rhonda was our piercer and I will sing her praises to anyone that will listen. She answered all my questions, and put me at ease with her calm, professional manner. She pierced my nose and my daughter’s ear lobes. My daughter had her ear’s pierced before at Claire’s and it was a terrible experience- TRX and Rhonda were exactly the opposite.Already planning to get another ear piercing when I go to get my jewelry changed in 6 months.

Staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming! They went over prices with me and made sure I was informed through the whole process. Zach was hilarious and made sure the experience was easy and as painless as possible. I cannot recommend them enough! Ill be back for more piercings!!

I had a great experience with Dave Richert. Hes super knowledgeable, his tattoo skills are incredible and hes funny on top of it. Cant recommend him enough. Hes an artistic MASTER!

I called asking did they have availability for a walk in …. I arrived 30 mins later just for them try to schedule me for a day I didn’t have available…. A complete waste of my time

I got myself a few new nose rings and needed to get a taper put through an older hole. Their piercer Zach was absolutely amazing, he was very talkative and friendly but also made me feel like we had been friends for YEARS. I 10/10 recommended visiting this place and getting a piercing done by Zach!!! 😇😊

It was a bit more expensive than Im used to, but Zach Powell was very friendly and did a great job with my nose. Also the atmosphere of the store was great! Always loved this place. They have several highly skilled artists. Evonne did this piece and I love it! She covered up an old vertical tattoo. She did a great job. You really have to search to find where the old one was.

I’ve been coming here for years. I just got my 15th & 16th piercings today. Most of mine have been done at TRX. Once I started coming here I haven’t been anywhere else.I’ve been pierced by Jezzy, Zakk, Zach (and im sure i saw Stan at least once). Everyone that I’ve worked with has just been awesome. I always end up loving the end results and it’s always such a joy to being there. Because of the people I’ve gone from being very scared and anxious before getting a piercing to just getting two spontaneously today very easily because they always make me feel comfortable.Beyond all of that the products are high quality, they are very mindful of hygiene and they are part of the APP. If you’re in or near STL and you want a piercing I can’t recommend them enough.

I have been here several times. The humans in this establishment are quality. There are many different types of fantastic jewelry to choose from for any type of body part you want to accent. Stan was the human I had my appointment with. Trying to explain how fantastic Stan is would be impossible. He is welcoming, kind, full of knowledge about any piercing, and so professional. When you leave youll feel like hes been your friend for years. My recommendation for TRX is 5 stars because thats what it deserves. Ill tell everyone I know to visit here for quality body accents.

Had an absolutely lovely experience at this shop. I had been in two times before to feel them out, and was incredibly impressed by the professionalism and knowledge of their counter staff, not to mention the cleanliness and clear dedication to health standards. On my third visit, I finally got the piercings I had been feeling them out for. Stan is an amazing piercer. His experience is obvious in the way he explains your potential outcomes, details every step of the piercing process, and puts you at ease for the piercing itself. Kind, smart, funny, and completely professional.

Stopped by because they are in my neighborhood to get a quote on a tattoo. After waiting 30 min and being next in line I was completely overlooked for another customer who just walked in the door. Im a firm believer in how you start is how you finish so I walked out and took my money elsewhere. If customer service is not important to you give them a try. It is to me so I took my business elsewhere.

My tattoo artist from my experience jus wasnt passionate about his craft enough for me and it showed in the final outcome...all he did was gave me advise to basically come back to book another session with him for more detailing but Ive switched to a artist of more similar vision of what I like as well...🤷🏾👌🏾👍🏾

I love that they’ll do a body anatomy before going thru with a piercing. They’re also very strict on minors coming getting anything done. They ask for documentation and everything to show that you are in custody/ care of said minor. Clean shop and I like that they do follow-ups and check-ins depending on what type of body work you decided to go with.

I got my septum pierced by Zach and it was hands down the best piercing experience Ive had. He was straightforward and professional, made me feel super comfortable, and made the piercing itself super quick and relatively painless. I will absolutely be going back for any piercings I get in the future!

I was wanting a specific piercing so I began checking a few shops in the area for piercings. One shop wouldn’t talk to me, another shop even recommended TRX while I was there. So of course I headed that way. I arrived at TRX and was greeted by friendly staff and was able to ask some questions I had. The piercers I spoke with were professional, gave me sound advice and complete knowledgeable answers to my questions.I returned today, again I was greeted by some friendly faces and was promptly taken care of. One of the piercers was there, remembered me and what I was wanting. We got the paperwork done, pierced then I was educated about aftercare. I was able to get some aftercare product while there and was on my way.Good job TRX! see you again soon.

What a great place. We were recommended this place to pierce our 6 year olds ear. It was perfect. They were all about her consent to do this. Made her sign her own paper work too. They smartly didnt have us pay until after the piercing in case the daughter backed out at any time.While in the room Zak made sure she wanted to do it and was talking to her most of the time. He was getting her a little mentally prepared for what was about to happen. She ended up getting both, squeezing a stuffed animal. And man does she live them.They do pierce when a special earring that is flat backed which is great for kids. They also have some certification for their practices and cleanliness. 1000x better than going to anywhere else, especially Clares.

My friend and I decided to get out first tattoo together . It took me many many years for me to figure out what I wanted and to have the courage to do it since I am very afraid of needles .the tattoo was very personal for me and my friend . Mine contained my loved ones initials who have passed .I will not mention the person who did our tattoos but she has been very unprofessional. I have sent several messages to arrange a time for our post appt check in as she scheduled us on a day we are working . I have made multiple attempts to contact her on IG and my friend too with to zero communication back from her . I called in and the customer service person said she would have her reach out. Still zero contact .I picked this shop because all the reviews and my past experience with the piercings I’ve gotten .This is really unacceptable: I’m not sure if she has some sort of unconscious basis towards myself or my friend but now I don’t even feel good about my first tattoo experience nor my friend . We were planning on coming back for more tattoos and piercings but I don’t feel comfortable. I will pick a different shop to touch up my tattoo and to do my future tattoos .Maybe as a shop owner you shouldn’t put a new artist with customers who are getting their first tattoos . It completely ruined the experience for me and my friend .

Had an amazing experience going in by myself for a philtrum piercing. The folks at the front area were super patient and helpful with helping me pick the jewelry. Zakk, my piercer, did an awesome job and really made the process easy. Appreciate yall :)

Today was the second time I got pierced at TRX. They are always professional and the shop is clean. Taylor and the other young lady (sorry i didnt catch her name) at the counter were great and helped me quickly compete the necessary paperwork and pick out jewelry. Zack was awesome. He explained everything in detail and I barely felt a thing. His upbeat attitude made an awkward situation more comfortable and he put me at ease.

My daughter got her nose pierced today by Casey. She was was amazing. Casey was extremely patient explained everything very well, and did a great job. My daughter is extremely happy andloves her new piercing.

Great place was here with my Nephew so that he may purchase a tattoo. The was clean the staff was friendly and professional. We were made to be welcome by the staff who were both patient and empathetic. The Artist was named Dustin, he was awesome! He made us both feel comfortable. He gave my Nephew very professional advice and followed my Nephews instructions to the Tee. The result was a satisfied customer who will be coming back for that John Wick Tattoo. I recommend others who are so inclined to visit TRX and experience it for themselves.

The people at the desk were very nice, but the piercer dropped my friends piercing and then put it in without sanitizing it first. Very concerning. Was not pleased.

Super grateful, I had a nostril piercing done at another shop and it was irritated and uncomfortable and had developed an irritation bump after 2 months. I came here to get it checked out and they recommended I switch the jewelry from stainless steel to implant grade titanium, and also change the post from a screw to a bone. The people at the front desk and the piercer who switched it out for me were all so nice and made me feel comfortable. I was able to walk in with no appointment. Price was reasonable, less than I expected. The bump went down significantly just days later and after 3 weeks, the bump was completely gone.

My mom and I have been looking for a place to get nostril piercings done for a long time. We researched many places and people and decided to go here and get our piercings done by Stan. The overall place us very clean and organized and every staff member was very kind and professional. The staff are very knowledgeable and it was very easy to find a piercing to suit me. The piercings are very clean and smooth. I was very surprised by how fast everything was completed. Stan was definitely perfect for us because he talks and made us feel at home and at ease. I very much recommend this to all and I will definitely be going back there for any other piercing or tattoo needs.

This place is great. Logan does fantastic work. He is quick, understands what you need, and explains the process if you have any questions. I went there for my first tattoos and will definitely go again for more.They do piercings,tattoos and multiple services. A lot of artists there do free touch ups for life, but definitely confirm with the artist. The price was not very expensive either. Overall a great shop.

Zakk pierced my lobes, was very professional, and so far so good! I am really happy with the selection of earrings they have, because everyone in my family seems to be allergic to low-quality earrings, but I got to choose from titanium and gold. I came here to get my nose pierced, it was my first face piercings and I was pretty nervous, mainly because I pass out at blood and needles and had no idea what to expect. From the counter help to the piercer everything was great. I didn’t even have any issues with my service dog. The piercer went over the piercings I was getting and let me close my eyes and listen to music while randomly talking about Greek and Norse mythology to distract myself. She let me stay there afterwards so I could relax a bit, but the experience of the piercings weren’t even as bad as I thought they were going to be. Everyone was nice and understanding that I was nervous and I didn’t feel judged.

Long story short but my daughter lost her septum ball and the place she had it done kept giving us the run around, the piercer wasnt in or he went home sick and his stuff was locked up..just always something and this went on for a week and a half so someone told us to go to TRX and they were so friendly and helpful and so kind!! From the girls at the front to the wonderful lady who helped my daughter get her piercing back in tact, it was a good experience. I would highly reccommend!!

I went in to get a new Medusa top. Kate and Nick were AMAZING!! I loved their vibe and attitude so much I’ve decided to go there for my next piercing. I can’t tip them, which was aggravating, especially since there’s a sign that states venmo and cash app tips are loved. So, who ever is in charge of that, needs to make tips acceptable to their super cool counter people!! The lady who placed my new jewels was a doll too! Overall great experience!!

My best friend ,and I made an appointment for her birthday, and the environment was nice, clean, and the people were very helpful!I absolutely loved the piercer Stanley , they were incredibly nice and took a lot of pressure off a first piercing. Everything was even and is healing very well a week later! Highly recommend this place as it was recommended to me !

My friend had a great experience here! Everyone was really accommodating, nice, fast, and thorough. My friend came in with an idea for 2 hand tattoos and the tattoo artist whipped up a sketch that was exactly what he wanted! The process was so fast and we were provided with so much education on how to make the tattoos last and prevent issues. The prices were very reasonable and the tattoo artist sat and discussed other pieces with us. He really took the time to make us feel special and valued.

Went in last Saturday to get my nostril pierced, and I was extremely pleased with the results. Saturdays they do walk-ins (which I was aware of from calling ahead!), and they were very accommodating even when we asked to be pushed back on the waiting list so that wed have time to get lunch. I decided to get my piercing done by Stan since I read other good reviews by him, and it was a great decision :) I was a little nervous, and as others have said, hes pretty chatty, very professional, and he made me feel very comfortable. He is so knowledgeable and has been doing this for a long time which made me less worried. He asked me some really important questions that I never would have thought of (like if I planned to wear a hoop at any time, because if so, that could affect the placement). Everything was very clean/sterile, and TRX is a member of the Association of Professional Piercers which was all a plus for me. Overall, I dont have any complaints and would definitely recommend Stan at TRX for piercings :)

I had such a great experience here! I am a middle-aged mainstream woman who wanted to get my nostril pierced. When I went into some other shops, I felt like I wasnt cool enough to be in their club. When I walked in, Tom was at the counter, and he answered all of my questions, and never treated me like my questions were dumb or that I was unimportant. He was kind and helpful. Stan actually pierced my nose, and he was knowledgeable, and had a lot of experience, and personable. I told him I know this isnt a big deal, but it kind of is for me, and you made this experience great. The whole attitude of this shop is that anyone is welcome. Every single person I talked to was great. And, it was completely sanitary and I had zero problems with my piercing. I would recommend TRX for anyone, but especially people like me who dont have a lot of experience with piercings or tattoos. So wonderful.

Zach P. is a machine! He managed to pry open a couple long-ignored holes in my ear and stretched me up a gauge in the process, plus did 2 new piercings for me in the same sitting. My daughter and I got our cartilage pierced today at TRX by Stan. Wow! Talk about professional from the moment we entered the shop. We were greeted right away and made to feel comfortable and welcome. After they checked our ids (my daughter is 13 they make sure children are old enough and that you are related) Stan welcomed us into his piercing station. He was kind and making us laugh, which relaxed us. Before the piercing he gave us directions on the care of our piercings over the next year. He was very thorough! He made sure of the placement we wanted, then cleaned the area, changed gloves and unwrapped the needle and our earrings from sterile packaging. Very very professional, clean, kind and friendly!I will be back when I am ready for my first tattoo.

Ive been to this shop So many times for my piercing needs. They have great customer service. The staff behind the counter are patient and willing to take the time to discuss jewelry. Ive rarely had to wait more than 10 minutes to be pierced. The older gentleman who does the piercing is also kind and helpful. I had problems from a piece of jewelry from another shop (so not their fault) and TRX helped me coordinate shipping the jewelry back and getting a new piece.

Got me in without an appointment.Wally B helped me decide on what I really wanted. Went over everything before we started so their was no confusion. He was very helpful and really nice. They other members were very nice and helpful as well. The place smelled really good and was a very soothing place to be. I really enjoyed the place. Tattoo turned out amazing better then expected. Prices with wally B was fair all the work and time put into mine was worth every penny. I recommend going to wally B. ❤

The only spot I get pierced at. Good Jewellery selection and special orders available. Piercers are super skilled and help with designing ear art plus tell you honestly what piercing are/ aren’t possible with your ear structure. I appreciate that they look out for the health and wellbeing of the customers.

Great location. The shop is beautiful. But…I went here almost 5 months ago. I was looking to get some custom jewelry. They had to order in some pieces and said it could take up to 6 weeks for it to arrive. I was never contacted again after to make the deposit, to pick it up, or even to be updated.. I just kinda feel forgotten. It’s a little annoying bc I would have been spending quite a bit of money, and would have continued to give them business.

I chose to go to TRX for my most recent piercing. I was super nervous as this was a more adventurous piercing for me. STAN was HANDS DOWN the best person to do this! He is full of information, takes his time answering any questions, and immediately makes you feel at ease. He has many years of experience and makes it a quick (almost) painless experience. My future piercings will only be done by Stan!!Also...the staff at the front counter was super helpful and friendly. I felt comfortable from the minute we walked in the door that wed made the right decision with this shop!

I love coming to TRX!! Ash and Tom at the front are incredibly helpful and remembered me and things about me after only being in a couple times. Stan is an incredible piercer and very calming to talk to while youre in his room. Everyone clearly cares about their clients and the work theyre doing! Cannot recommend them enough. I had two good piercing experiences here before, but my last one was memorably bad. I would give this experience alone one star. I like this place for their jewelry (even though its pricey) and made an appointment to get new jewelry for healed piercings and a new conch piercing. The lady at the counter was helpful in picking out my jewelry, and I was super excited to be getting hoops for my healed piercings. I waited almost a full hour after my appointment time to be seen by the piercer. It started off on a bad foot because he didnt like the hoops I picked out and said they would ruin my piercing. I didnt understand why they would sell jewelry not recommended by the piercer.... so I told him I still wanted the hoops. He immediately had bad attitude (throwing down my folder), and told me I would hate how the piercings turned out but if I insisted he would do it. Nothing contrary to his technique, but I hated his attitude and instead of being excited for new expensive jewelry I just felt really uncomfortable. He also took a looooooong time (hence the one hour wait). I appreciate precautions but... what is the point of making an appointment. My boyfriend was very distressed that I was taking so long and wasnt allowed in the shop due to COVID (and it was past their closing time by the time I was done). I dont think this piercer works there anymore, which is a relief.

Loved everything about this place! The people are great, prices are great, and options are great. I’ve gotten tattoos here and taken friends too. I was grateful to have a piercer switch out my nose ring for me also. It’s a great location and I recommend it to anyone. The shop is super cool too!

Shop is great. Very clean and friendly, follow COVID guidelines. Tattoo experience, however, wasnt so great. Started working with an artist just after Thanksgiving on a leg tattoo. Took a while to get any kind of rough layout, but he was busy - I get it. Fast forward almost two months later, we go to start tattoo and about an hour into the appointment, artist says layout wont work. I offered to come in a week or two before for a fitting, in case it didnt work (never took measurements or pictures of leg for laying it out, seemed odd) - artist insisted on waiting til day of appointment. I wanted to give TRX a chance, heard great things, Ill be starting over at my usual shop. Very disappointing.

My sister and I decided we wanted to get an inverse labret or “Ashley” piercing and after searching online I came across the many positive reviews for Stan at TRX. The amount of experience he has made up my mind for me that he was who we needed to see so we came in and were taken back to be pierced almost immediately. It was a very clean and friendly environment. Stan was very knowledgeable and took his time explaining everything we needed to know and very carefully marked where our new jewelry would go and before I knew it we were done! I’m a big baby when it comes to pain but it wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it would be and it’s already on the way to healing with minimal swelling and no crusting or signs of any problems so I am beyond happy with my experience :) Stan’s the man!

Great experience all around. Went in for a walk-in and got set up with Phil. Super friendly, listened to exactly what I wanted. It was quick & painless, I wasn’t ready for the session to end! Once finished, Phil explained proper aftercare procedures and answered any questions. If you’re thinking of getting a tattoo, TRX is the place and PHIL is your guy!!

I went here and at first was super excited. The vibe is cool, the atmosphere is nice, the workers were super friendly. I set up a basic consultation and talked with an artist about what I wanted. Then, I paid my down payment and scheduled the appointment. That day arrives, and my artist just... wasnt there? For whatever reason? So they had me go with another artist, which I thought was fine. He did ok, but it wasnt exactly what I wanted either. He gave me contact info to keep in touch during the healing process. I had texted a few times saying that I thought my tattoo looked infected, and he said it was fine. Skip forward a week, and theres pus oozing out of it--yup, it was infected. I took care of the infection on my own from resources from other tattooed individuals. Now theres a big splotch of color missing in the tattoo. And now, on August 31, almost a year after I got the tattoo, its infected again in a different spot. Maybe I just had a weird experience, but my experience definitely wasnt as great as everyone else whos reviewed this place was. This review is for Stan! Stans bedside manner is amazing. He has such a chill, friendly, and engaging vibe. Before the piercing, his apprentice gave me a detailed explanation for aftercare along with a brochure. Then, Stan made sure he was piercing exactly where I wanted. Then, they visited me a little bit afterwards just to make sure I had no bad reactions. Great!Update:They still remain great~! I switched my nose stud to a hoop and they were great about adapting my piercing gauge for me (I think thats the technical term). Very high quality piercer!

My experience at this place was phenomenal! They made me feel welcome just got a piercing today. Didnt hurt not one bit, process took less than 30 minutes including the wait.

I went to get my nose pierced and stan was the one who pierced it and he was amazing! He is very personable and makes you feel really comfortable. He is very informative as well making sure you know how to take care of your piercing and what to expect. He is very quick and makes it as painless as possible. I would 100% recommend him to anyone wanting to get a piercing!

Nipple Piercing by StanI got my nipples pierced by Stan over the labor day weekend. The counter staff were friendly and approachable and the wait was reasonable (especially for a holiday weekend). Stan is currently the only piercer on staff [with a new one coming soon!] and there was 1 other person ahead of me.Stan was friendly and professional the entire time and made me feel comfortable, even though he knew that I was nervous.The piercings went quickly and smoothly. They hurt for about 1 minute during the actual piercing but the pain quickly subsided into more of a burning sensation. He gave me great after-care instructions and I was in-and-out in less than 1 hour.The piercings themselves hurt for about 3 hours afterward (with the aforementioned burning sensation). After that time, they really havent hurt at all...and Im a sucker for pain. All the piercings Ive had before (including my helix, navel and nose) have hurt for quite a white afterward so I was expecting the same, if not worse, given the sensitive location. I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised. I am tempted to think it is related to his great technique and his decades of experience.I definitely would go back and wouldnt hesitate to refer a friend!

My sister and I got tattoos with Phill. He was really patient with us deciding what we wanted and really knowledge about everything!Ive also worked with Greg there too. He did my first tattoo. He was hilarious! Very good at comforting any worries I had.I highly recommend both of them!

Absolutely the place that you need to go for piercings. I just had my navel done by Stan and he was beyond 5 stars! He was professional, funny (as I was nervous), and very knowledgeable about all things piercing. Ash greeted me when I walked in and took me through the process of picking out a ring and explaining everything that was going to happen. Her welcoming attitude made me feel that I was in the right place. When Stan called me back (after a 2 hour wait...hes worth it!!!) he measured the placement of the ring, walked me through aftercare, measured again to double check, and then walked me through the piercing. When he was done. He checked on me to see how I was feeling. He didnt rush me out the door for his next client. He cared about how I felt and what my pain level was. He is everything that you want in a piercer. I found him through a friends recommendation and now, I am telling you as well. Stan. Is. Your. Man. 100%!

Ive always had a great experience here. Most of my piercings are from TRX. Stan took care of my Monroe. 5 days in, it feels great. This is the only place I will recommend. Everywhere else got infected or migrated. They know what they are doing.

But heres the short-story do not expect Good customer service and READ ANY EMAILS THEY SEND THE DAY OF YOUR APPOINT IF YOU ARE BRINGING CHILDREN to get piercings..Long story...We had No idea We needed Multiple forms of ID because our initial consultation was May 2020. We booked our appointment a Year after our consultation so our daughter would be 6 when she got her ears pierced the 1st time. This was supposed to be special and Fun. We had our 74 yr old aunt with us because she was getting her ears pierced again and she wanted a nose piercing. We also had our 13yr old because she wanted a 2nd piercing in her ears. As we were basically dismissed by the front staff we were told our 3p appointment had been taken by either a walk in or another customer. Smh not ok.The people at the counter were so unbothered and condescending. Im glad we were unable to make it work. We will take our business elsewhere. I like to be appreciated as a customer. TRX was a Horrible experience

All the piercers here are highly trained and knowledgeable; added bonus- they are all APP certified. I know Im always in good hands when I come for a consult or a jewelry change out. I personally like to come in on days that Jezebel is working. TRX has a really good selection of jewelry to choose from at good prices. Cannot say enough good things about this place. If you want a piercing, go to TRX!

Very cool place on both sides. Went to get original snake bite jewelry replaced and ended up getting them put in, corrected sizing, and a new Instagram page to follow. My girl who replaced jewelry was amazing and sooo knowledgeable. Bought my jewelry, and some incense with my Budda burner .. definitely return here and recommend

The tattoo artist we spoke with was condescending and rude. My son, my mom and I all approached the shop hoping to collaborate with a professional and make 3 appointments to return, or if luck had it we would have loved to have been able to get my son in that day. What a joke. He was completely uninterested in being helpful, we were clearly not his type of customer. Thank God. We went a few minutes down the road to Self Inflicted Tattoo and had an excellent experience. AND we were all able to get in and get our work done that day.. Skip this place.

I truly appreciate Sarah reaching out and her genuine concern about my experience!ORIGINAL REVIEW (2 stars): Ive had two piercings done here, one about 4 years ago and another one a month ago.My experience 4 years ago was a 5-star experience. The shop was clean, the piercing process was sanitary and quick, and the piercer was super nice.The industrial piercing that I got one month ago and the conversations with the shop since has turned me off completely to this place. When I arrived for the industrial, the shop still looked the same and the cleanliness was still up to par. However, the piercer was not as friendly and she seemed annoyed that she had a customer. When she was explaining the care procedures to me, she sounded like shed rather watch paint dry. The piercing experience itself was no different than the last - quick and clean.In the month since Ive had this piercing, the top ball has unscrewed itself THREE TIMES and fallen out. After the second time, I emailed my piercer and her response was actually quite welcoming to come into the shop and she would take care of it easily and quickly. She explained what could be wrong and it sounded like it would take no longer than a quick 5 minute visit. I went to the shop on a Tuesday afternoon and I explained my situation and that Id been emailing the piercer to the worker behind the counter. Her response was that there were 3 individuals in front of me waiting for actual piercings, so it would be between 45 minutes and a hour wait. I completely understand that there were 3 other customers in front of me, thats not the frustration here. The frustration arose when I asked if my piercer would be in the next day, they said yes, to which I asked if I could make an appointment so I dont waste another trip, and I was told in the rudest, snottiness tone, We dont take reservations for piercings.Later that evening, I was cleaning my piercing, and the ball came unscrewed yet again (third time) and the bar even fell out of the hole. I tried like I had before to get it back in, and after five minutes of frustratingly failing, I called the shop. It was 7:05pm. The individual who answered the phone was extremely rude and inconsiderate for what I was dealing with. I again explained that I had been emailing back and forth with my piercer, and he was less than compliant with my situation. If you want us to fix it, you have to come in when we are open. We close at 8. Luckily, after more fuss with the earring, I got it back in and the ball screwed on. Had I not though, I would have wasted money on a piercing and piece of jewelry because it would have closed up by the next afternoon when I could make it to the shop after work since I was rudely told they dont open until 11am.The entire tone of this situation has come off that this shop no longer cares about their customers and keeping them, rather, they are solely focused on the money.

I went with a friend to have our ears pierced over the weekend. Everyone was knowledgeable, professional, and kind. They go above and beyond to ensure a sterile environment for each customer. I will absolutely be going back here for future piercings.

Went in and got two piercings. My tongue and special area its been two weeks and both are healing very nicely. The sweet lady Jezebel that did them was a true sweetheart! She took her time, walked me through it, and explained how to care for them properly. If I ever desire more piercings Ill definitely be back! Thanks TRX!

Went here around 7 months to get a naval piercing. I had a great experience and my piercer was extremely professional and really explained the process. A really great and welcoming place to get pierced at.However, a couple days ago my piercing started to migrate and reject. I went to another piercer to get it checked out and he said that my naval was pierced too shallow and I wouldn’t have had any issues if otherwise. Now I’m going to have scar tissue and I have to wait a year for it to heal before getting my naval repierced

Got my first tattoo here and I loved it. The staff were super friendly and the guy who did my tattoo was very gentle and he tried to get my mind off the pain by making me laugh. Although it didnt work I still appreciate it and the jokes. The tattoo hurts like crazy, but because of the way I was treated here made it all worth it.

I got my nose pierced by Jeezy and she was so nice! She made me feel very comfortable! I hardly felt a thing! Their prices are fair and their service is professional.

I first got my belly button pierced here by Stan. It healed so beautifully, & I have had zero issues! I loved my experience so much that I decided to get my tragus pierced here as well. I love both of my piercings and I will definitely continue to recommend TRX! All of my future piercings/tattoos will be done here!

I came in for a jewelry change on a 6 month old piercing that has been having a lot of trouble healing. I had the piercing done elsewhere and wasnt given very good aftercare instructions (wash with antibacterial soap, put tea tree oil on it if its irritated, try hydrocortisone cream if that wont work etc). Being new to cartilage piercings I followed the instruction of my previous piercer and here we are 6 months later still not healed and with an unhappy piercing.  My experience with Moy seems to be different than most as I found him really abrasive and short with me from the first moment we met. He was helpful in the sense that he recommended the best quality jewelry and size for my piercing and placed that in my ear instead of the cheap steel that I had before, but other than that the whole encounter was very tense, awkward and hostile. I want to give the benefit of doubt since this is the only experience Ive had like this at this shop. But I dont feel I deserved this treatment especially when I tipped for the jewelry change even before meeting him because I expected another pleasant experience being that is all i had had here prior.

This was my 2nd time at TRX: the first was with my cousin to get a piercing which was a GREAT experience! She is type 1 diabetic and was under 18 at the time but everyone was super nice and helpful and they did an excellent job on her piercing. They let two of us back there with her and made it an easy and relaxed experience for her! This time I went for a tattoo: Beka is AWESOME!!! She is super chill and willing to work with you and is careful to make sure you get exactly what you want in your tattoo! She takes the time to make sure that she knows exactly what the end goal is and then gives meticulous attention to getting exactly that! All while being super nice and chill! The whole experience was easy and fun and then end result was a tattoo that I love! She’s a real deal artist and everyone at TRX is awesome! Go there!

I came to my appointment wanting to get my helix pierced. I picked out an earring and mentioned I wanted my mid helix pierced to the receptionist. Paid $70 and was seated. The piercer came down and asked what kind and where I wanted my piercing and I told him I wanted my mid helix pierced. When I got to his room, he never mentioned he couldn’t do what I wanted. I’m not sure why this was not clarified before I got to the room by him or the receptionist that he didn’t do mid helix piercings... If mentioned before I got to my appointment, I could’ve gone someplace else. Since I was already in the room, I ended doing a piercing I didn’t want and paid a lot of money for.

Probably the most well organized process I have seen in a tattoo parlor, not only was our artist Jeff amazing at his work and did a beautiful job, he was also patient, precise, friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this place and Jeff himself. Side note, they were very clean and are taking the situation of this pandemic very seriuosly and are implementing all the possible precautions they can. Not to mention, the decor of the establishment is beautiful!

DO NOT GO HERE! I went in on Monday for an emergency. I had my nostril pierced the previous Wednesday at a different place and my gem fell out so I needed a replacement before the hole closed. My original piercing place was closed, so a friend recommended TRX. Bad decision. Not only were the front staff rude and condescending, I was snapped at by the male worker after he asked to see my piercing and I slightly lowered my mask to show him he says, Put your mask up! Its a requirement! Dont ask to see my nose then, sir!!! After over an hour wait, I finally saw the woman piercer and she said she would insert a different size nose ring that would not come out. Ok I thought, great! By the end of the day my nose was clearly red and infected. Overnight my skin had grown over the gem in the new nose ring because the size she chose was way too small! Luckily my original piercing place was open and I was able to go in and have her fix this. She was shocked! My nose was infected and this tiny nose ring was embedded to the point she had to cut my skin and almost had to use metal snips to cut the gem off to remove it because it was so tight!!! She told me I needed a 10mm. TRX used a 3mm!!!! See picture. The long post is my original that the gem fell out of and the small one is what TRX used. I wish I could get my $40 back from these idiots but I paid cash and have no receipt. DO NOT GO HERE. GO LITERALLY ANYPLACE ELSE.

I’ve been coming here for 6 years to get tattoos and I still have no desire to go anywhere else because the experience is awesome, the environment is awesome and even though I’ve been inside a few other shops with friends for some reason this one feels like home. I came in tonight out of spite for a tattoo or as I like to call it “therapy” lol. Tonight I had Jeff and he really did an amazing job, we had great conversation and he’s really laid back but also is very professional. Thank you again TRX for being a 2nd home to me and thank you Jeff for being such an awesome artist

Came here to get my nose pierced. Place is very clean and the staff is professional. Stan was my piercer and he made me feel very comfortable during the process. Sterile technique used. Downside is the price is very expensive for a simple nose piercing and the type of jewelry used was difficult to remove. I had to break the jewelry when it came time to change it or be charged $10 to have it changed professionally. For the same job you can go somewhere cheaper.

The piercings… amazing. The service………. I dealt with so many micro aggressions. My sister and I had an appointment and the front counter woman with blonde/red short bangs waited on me, she was so soft spoken and it was hard of hearing, even with the masks on, but when she waited on others she was louder and vocal, even greeted the other non people of color better. Then, the guy with long blonde hair did my piercings had an attitude because I’ve came an HOUR before closing to get two piercings. Even though I made an APPOINTMENT 5 hours before. He talked to me in a demeaning manner, not nice at all. He also yelled at me because the woman who waited on me wrote something wrong on the paper… never should yell at guest for a simple mistake. My whole experience was uncomfortable. Didn’t even get jewels added because the front lady did not explain anything to a first timer. I wanna give this place another shot, but the low key micro aggressions really threw me off. I still tipped the person, I hope everyone was just having a bad day lol.

I was just at TRX about a month ago getting my first dermal piercing done. Stan did my dermal that day and did an amazing job. I never knew it was coming and never even felt it. I was a walk in so I did have to wait about 40 mins but it was friendly, clean and comfortable. Stan also explained the whole process so there were no surprises. I will always return back to TRX for any ink or piercings in the future. Go check them out, you wont regret it.!!

Very friendly and helpful! I went in to buy new jewelry and decided to get another piercing. Very professional, went through all I needed to know about aftercare and listened to any concerns or questions I had through all of it. I was very comfortable and the piercer was very nice. I will be back in a few months for it to be looked at and show how my healing is going.

I had an extremely positive experience at TRX. At the bequest of my obstetrician I had to have 8 dermals removed before delivery. They had been in place for over 10 years and while Mr. Moy explained that was a lengthy time that would impede the ease of removal, he nonetheless did an amazing job at removing them with as little pain as possible. I was overly impressed with his bedside manner; working diligently to keep a very pregnant woman comfortable and relaxed, offering to take breaks and resume at my willingness; distracting me with interesting educational interludes about his work and my interests; and doing a thorough explanation of how he would execute the task. I was greatly impressed with the Covid precautions and cleanliness of the facility. They were prompt in sticking to my scheduled appointment and courteous at my arrival. After having undergone a difficult and strenuous experience, he was kind enough to take the time to ensure I was safe for travel and even purchased a gelato for me next door. I appreciate the recommendation of their services and will certainly my be returning when I need my dermals reinserted after my next and final delivery. Thank you Mr. Moy for a great experience!

Went in to get a piercing and the lady at the front told me “I would hope that you would love yourself more than getting a piercing like that”. Like… what? I understood that it wasn’t the healthiest piercing but educating me on the piercing and just simply stating that you guys don’t do those types of piercings would’ve got the point across. Went to a different piercer who educated me fully AND offered to give me a discount for my experience at a shop that wasn’t theirs so I would vote giving my business to self inflicted instead. Telling this to somebody isn’t okay and y’all need to work on your people skills if you’re working with the public. I’m not one to get worked up over little things but telling somebody that they don’t love theirselves because they want a certain piercing is a little off…. Didn’t even know how to respond so I just said okay and walked out.

I would very highly recommend this place! The people are very friendly and did a great job with my second ear piercing back in January. I had some issues with it recently (my fault) and they took a look at it free of charge and told me how to heal it. They also are taking wonderful Covid precautions which I really appreciate

Im a little biased, but this is the best tattoo and piercing shop in town. The owners are amazing people. They hire quality tattoo artists and I wouldnt trust my piercings to anyone else. The folks behind the counter are knowledgeable and friendly. The shop is clean and inviting. Forget the rest and go to the best.

I should’ve went here to get my belly piercing but I didn’t I got my belly piercing done somewhere else and they messed it up pretty bad. I went to TRX to see how I could fix it. They provided me with a lot of important information they were very helpful and very kind. Going back to them in a month to get my belly piercing RIGHT this time😭🤍

I got a piercing there the other day. The piercing came out looking great but there was a serious breach of piercing etiquette. A piercer should always show you the needle being opened to prove that it is, A: a new needle, and B: properly sterilized. This did not happen! I am sure that it was a clean needle but I cant help but feel a bit off about the experience because of it.

I was microbladed by Xen and her apprentice Maggie. They did such a wonderful job making me feel comfortable and I am so happy with my results. Love my new brows and I highly recommend seeing Xen

Although I didnt have any work done here I loved the atmosphere. We browsed the unique gift shop and enjoyed the assortment of incense, stickers, ointments, tarot cards, crystals, smoking accessories, art, t-shirts, books, and unusually funny greeting cards.

Came to TRX wanting to get my earlobes re-pierced. Id had a bad experience (inflammation a few weeks into the healing, probably a metal allergy) with the original piercing, which was done at a mall kiosk, and took out the starter earrings early. When the irritation abated I tried to replace the earrings, but was unsuccessful, and gave up, certain that I had closed tracts. In the years since, I became a physician, and so recently I began to consider doing the re-piercing myself, or asking a surgeon friend to do the honors. After some consideration, I decided to just seek out a professional.Humility sometimes pays off folks. I am so very glad that I stumbled upon Stan, probably the most experienced professional piercer around these parts. He examined the lobes, and explained that there might still be tracts present. I had my doubts, but he was right. One side was completely patent, though shrunk down, and so he carefully (and painlessly) worked a blunt tipped rod through. The other side had a very thin layer of skin to pierce, which he did at no charge to me. Had I gone straight at them myself with a catheter needle, I would have caused a lot of unnecessary trauma, and likely ended up with messy crossed tracts.I left with titanium studs, and sound advice for the slightly modified after-care in this situation. Overall an excellent experience.

Highly recommend for piercings. The staff are knowledgeable, professional and they only sell quality jewelry. Ive driven four hours to get pierced since I know they are reputable and educated on piercings. Atmosphere is professional and building is adorable.

My tattoo artist was Evonne Francine and she was the best. I gave her my vision and she did exactly what I wanted her to do. She made me comfortable and even offered breaks if I needed them( I didnt take any by the way and it is wrapped around my ankle). Just setting up my appt was dope. I definitely give this shop 5 stars.
