Store didnt have much to offer, low stock, and over priced items. The workers were friendly and helpful!

Wonderful customer service! I took my 8 year old to get her ears pierced and the sales associate and manager were SO kind and patient. We have attempted to get her ears pierced 2 other times (not at this location) and my daughters nerves got the best of her. This time they talked through what would happen. Did a practice round and shared stories of her puppies! They went above and beyond to make her comfortable and we got them pierced! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I lost my nose ring and as a last minute solution stopped at Claire’s to grab something quick. While there an associate who seemed to be new told me about buy 2 getting 3rd for $5. She asked her manager every question I had for her. So Long story short - spent $50 on nose rings I ended up using one as I was in my way out of town. I brought the other jewelry I didn’t use back and the manager Jennifer told me that they are not returnable. I told her that the associate didn’t tell me and there are no signs in addition to receipt policy on returns. Her response was “i tell my girl to say it”. When I shared with her that she was standing right at the register as the associate rang me up and neither said anything. She responded with: “there is a sign right here”. I took the sign and gave it to her and said where does it say that. She said it doesn’t but it’s our policy. This is definitely an unethical way for Claire’s management to not take responsibility and make money off their unsuspecting customers. I left the jewelry I bought with her and left the store really disappointed.

I’d give the store zero stars if I could. Arrived at the store today a little bit before 10 AM, which is their opening time. They did not open at 10 AM. I came back at 11 AM. The worker was inside moving things around, but it is now 10 after 11 AM, and the worker has made no move to open the store. Great place to visit if you’d like to waste your time.

I just wanted to leave a review to say that the two ladies working at Maplewood Mall Claires today were absolutely amazing at making my five-year-old daughter feel comfortable during her ear piercing! She kept asking me to have it done and I wasnt sure if she was ready, but she hopped right up in that chair and was smiling pretty much the whole time aside from a few tears. Nice work and customer service, ladies!

Today I went into Claire’s, and their items are nice and good quality, but the lady that rung me up was so rude, she sighed “UGH” and slammed something on the table and said “is that it?”, she also looked up, eye rolled, she looked at my like she was annoyed, she was very like upset, and she had a tone with me like I did something bad. She has blonde hair and was skinny and kinda short. I didn’t see her name tho but she was working around 5:30-5:50pm at the cashier.Friday November 18th 2022.

Super ghetto employee loud talking on her phone (on speaker!) and shouting. Very unprofessional. She really looked and sounded like trash and did not represent the store in a good light at all!

2019 Summer- Got my daughters ear pierce after she turn 3 months. The staff was okay but need more training with the gun use. Because the young lady that did my daughters ears couldnt get the earrings off from the gun for a good 3 minutes each side. She had to get someone else to help her remove the earrings from the gun for the last ear pierce. The trouble with removing her earrings from the gun was already a horrible experience. Which i thought that was it but, that was not why it made me never want to shop at claires no more. After a week cleaning her ears from the pierce. My mil noticed that the right side wasnt straight. It was slanted towards her face in the back of her ears. So i call the store location that i went to and told them my problem. They told me to keep my pink slip and come back for a free pierce when her ears were healed. That was literally what she said to me. Since she is my first daughter and i want her to have earrings. I keep checking her ears every day to see if the old piercings on her ears were heal, but they werent. Until finally, it did on one of the days i check and it has been months. 2019 Fall- I bought her into the same location i took her and they told me they cant do it cause its been months. That its their policy for a certain period of time to re-pierce the ears for free. I wasnt told to be aware of that policy when contacting the store when i call them about my daughters ear pierce. Which if it was good customer service they should have told me before hand. The manager of the store said she couldnt do anything about it too unless i wanted to pay full price again. Which its obvious i left the store in anger and disappointment. I got home and look through both the receipts to check if they have it on there if it was policy for us customers to be aware of when getting piercings done. But nothing concerning the topic was on both the receipts. This is why, i will never shop for Claires again.

**Sadly I cannot rate half a star.Came to the store: March 22nd, Friday. (So you(the manager or company manager) know which employees that worked that night. To talk to if you care about every customer to teach your employees class 101 on how to greet your customers with care until every customer leaves the store.)I saw that there were a few customers still inside, so I came to take a quick glance at the store before it was closing time, and one of the employees gave me a dirty look and told me straight up without a greeting, You have 2 secs to look around and thats it. And storms off. This was absolutely VERY bad customer service, and I was not satisfied with whatever kind of service that was. I felt VERY unwanted and left the store as if commanded by the employee. As you should know, that EVERY employee is the face of the company. Because of that employees attitude, it has effected me greatly on the company. I hope that in the future, you will teach every employee to greet and treat customers how they would like to be treated back.Even if people do not care what I have to say, I do not care. Even if the employee that spoke rudely to me today saw this and spoke badly about me, I do not care. At least I still have the right to speak out what they did wrong, and I hope they will learn in the future to treat everyone with respect. Even if they hate having to deal with customers at the end of their shift, customers are still always high priority to have them leave with a smile on their face.

Called and planned to see Ashley for piercing my 2 and 1/2 month old baby girl V. Ashley was off so I met with Jordan, she was professional and set my mind at ease. She was very comfortable at doing her job and working with small children it made me comfortable. I recommend her and I feel safe to say I can believe the rest of the staff are just as qualified. Thank you Jordan you really did a great job and Im glad to have met you.

We went to Claires to get my daughters ears pierced and Alayna was awesome. She was very fun and extremely professional. She made the experience so nice for my daughter!

Fun with your kids or if you are a kid(just an excuse to go peek at a bunch of fun stuff!)They get a C. The room is so small and they need to clean up better. There were many things out of their order and hard to find. In a shop that small you have to stay on it all the time. I did appreciate the grown up jewelry that was body jewelry. They had an enclosed case for that. Much appreciated. I would never buy body jewelry like a nose ring that was out in the open.Otherwise, the girl that was on was in the middle of an interview, which is great because it seems like it would be a fun interesting place to work.Bottom line. Claires is for a lot of cheaper jewelry and some seriousness for adults.

Jordan was so awesome. My 5 year old was scared when she got there, but Jordan made he comfortable with the process. She was laughing almost through all of it. Great experience, would absolutely go back.

Ive never purchased from this company before, however I went to pagoda and there was no one there so I went here 🙃. A waste, big waste the nose rings changed color overnight. I will never buy anything from here anymore.
