Went in for a walk in, great shop, great service. Got tattooed by Aaron. He was awesome & did an amazing job.

Really enjoyed it here! Me and my two friends came here to get our helix pierced and we had the piercer, Kate, and we went to their little back room that was not the most tidy but everything that needed to be clean was clean. The procedure was very sanitary and they helped out with the pain by helping me breathe when the piercing happened. I got dizzy after the piercing but I was treated to plenty of water to prevent me from passing out. My piercing looks great and Kate was so awesome to all of us and the experience was great! Will definitely come back again for another piercing!

Jak did a custom realism piece for me and did an AMAZING job!! Great conversation, beautiful work and the shop was clean and beaming with work from all of the artists that work there.

Lucas has tattooed 15 of my 16 tattoos. His creativity is unmatched and always works with me to bring my ideas to life. Not only is he a stellar tattoo artist, he’s an awesome person. He has always made me feel comfortable whenever I’m in his chair. The atmosphere of Iron Rhino in general is pleasant and friendly - I love catching up with other artists when I’m in getting ink done!

I got tatted by Lucas Z! He did such a great job on both of my tattoos. Love that he paid close attention to detail! Line work is amazing. I’m definitely choosing to go back to him and recommending him to family and friends. I was so impressed and I’m in love with my new tattoos by Lucas. Iron rhinos office is really laid back too. So many talented artists.

The female owner of Iron Rhino Tattoo, Jak Knealy is awesome💯. She started my Capricorn Mermaid tatt earlier this year, after I healed from my knee replacement. The first session was fine, outside of the sensitive scarred area. Jak was very attentive to my needs regarding my pain threshold - and professionally called a halt when she saw I was just trying to power through😭.Today I got to have her finish the color - and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT ❤️🔥❤️🔥💯! I cant wait until the swelling has gone down and I can see all of the colorJak is stuck with me as her client now😁. I have plans for my other knee🐢, and my shoulder/back 🌸🌸 😎... I get to have some beautiful artwork rendered by a phenomenal artist 🔥😁😎💯

My sister and I wanted matching tattoos so we called local shops in our area and Iron Rhino had the time to take us as walk-ins. Lucas did our designs and tattoos and he was amazing. He was very sweet, very gentle, and very funny. He created an experience unlike any other I’ve had in a tattoo shop and it ended up being a lovely time. Our tattoos look beautiful and I am excited for my next tattoo with him.

Staff were very helpful, I was a walk-in but since the tattoo I wanted wasnt very big, they were able to help me out right away. Rod was the artist who did mine, and I loved how it came out as soon as I looked in the mirror. Great conversation, and great atmosphere at this place. I will definitely be returning soon to get more.

Had some spare time and wanted some ink therapy. Happened upon this location as it is between home and work and called for a walk in appointment. Had a great time with the artist and it was a perfect setting. Tat turned out great and I plan to be back soon!

If you are looking to get a tattoo, Iron Rhino is the place to do it. All of the artists here are extremely talented, knowledgeable, and friendly. I was recommended Aaron aka Koopa by a friend of mine and have gotten several tattoos over the last two years. He is easy to work with and whether you have a complete idea or a partial idea, will work with you to develop the exact tattoo that you want. He has exceeded my expectations every time and I plan to keep on coming back!

Everyone here is very friendly and very talented. I would recommend them to anyone,especially Lucas. He is the one that actually did my tattoo. I gave him my idea and sure enough, he drew it up with no problem.

I came in to buy a new nose stud and have it inserted. Their selection of jewelry is very nice for a small shop, and I was able to find exactly what I was looking for. Kate was very kind as she helped me with the new jewelry. I will definitely be back again when I want new stud, and I highly recommend her for a new piercing or a jewelry change!

Clean & tidy shop with fantastic staff! Rod did matching tattoos on a friend and I. He did an amazing job all while smiling and making us laugh with his bright, friendly and funny personality! I would recommend this shop and artist to anyone looking to get a tattoo in the area!

Not at all happy with Rodney. He seems to be a fine artist, but he tries too hard to be a slick talker as he rudely overtakes conversations, and he doesnt communicate well.He double booked my first appointment and failed to inform me, causing me to drive 250 miles for nothing. On my initial visit I gave him ideas to work with, and he was supposed to send ideas back for me to review and/or tweak before my actual appointment, but he NEVER sent drafts of his sketches for me to consider, causing additional confusion. Since I hadnt received any correspondence from him I send a new idea for him to work with weeks before my rescheduled second appointment. Again, no communication back from Rodney, except to say that a new depisit would be required since my idea had changed.When I expressed my concerns regarding the double booked appointment, new deposit, and his lack of communication, he said to come in on Saturday to discuss with Jak the owner. I drove the 250 miles again, but Jak was not in, nor has she contacted me regarding my concerns.It was a bad experience throughout the process, and even after attempting to figure things out with a belligerent Rod, I ended up simply having to leave, surrendering my deposit which was a Christmas gift from my daughters.Not saying I wouldnt return to their shop. I still may (or may not), as 5 members of my family had work done there. Beautiful work. If I do decide to come back it just will not be with Rod.Hoping for a reply from Jak...That will be the deciding factor on whether I return to her shop.UPDATE: Very disappointing...After 2 additional inquiries, Jak has still refused to contact me regarding this situation. This lack of customer concern has put a sour taste in my mouth. I am removing their stickers from my car window and will be informing my family of my concerns. Do not expect anyone from our clan to return to your shop.

Came in to get my spoopy Halloween special tattoo, left more than satisfied with Rods work! 💖 My boyfriend got his tattoo done by Aaron and he is as well more than satisfied with his work done today. will definitely be coming here for my future tattoos ♡ amazing conversation, amazing place, amazing artists! ♡♡

Me and my sister came here couple of weeks ago to get our belly pierced. The piercer was very dull & not talkative. We asked to record and got denied. But when Caucasian women came and got their belly pierced they were able to record. I do not recommend this place.

AMAZING studio feel, very different than your average shop. Friendly staff and excellent talent! They really know how to make a good first impression! You will definitely love the atmosphere as soon as you walk in!

Bizzare experience - we were treated very coldly by the staff, waited for hours only to be told the tattoo we had already showed them wouldnt be doable because it was too complicated (literally just a line drawing of a flower with two colors... I had it done just fine at another place after this incident). But we had already waited for FOUR HOURS so I left the deposit and agreed to come back in a couple days.Less than an hour before my appointment, I get a call saying my tattoo artist cant make it and needs to reschedule. At that point it had been such a hassle and an unpleasant experience that I asked for my deposit money back. At first they refused, but then they agreed... but only could give me the refund in cash, if I came to them on a day they werent open and met them in the parking lot. Very weird.I did get my refund but would never go back.

Jak absolutely NAILED my tattoo. I gave her some guidelines for the general themes I want represented in the piece, and what she sent me was awesome. What she put on my body, however, was beyond awesome-- it was art that I am ecstatic is a part of me for the rest of my life. If you want cheap uninspired junk, go somewhere else. If you want an artist to use your body as a canvas, then Jak is your woman; you get what you pay for.

Had a great experience here with Jak. I came in with a slightly weird, not super well developed idea and she totally rolled with it. They also communicated well and the consult/scheduling process was pretty straightforward.

Jak has done six of my tattoos over the past eight years, all of them fantastic. She does the most beautiful realism. Will get more from her in the future.

After a great deal of research I feel Iron Rhino Tattoo is the best in the twin cities. The atmosphere isnt like what you might expect from other tattoo parlors, but is more of an artists studio. Its open space is clean and uncluttered. And JaK is a master artist. She did a phenomenal job with the custom phoenix tattoo design for my back. Im 61 and this tattoo has special significance. JaK fully understood my needs and created a spectacular work of art. Everyone at Iron Rhino Tattoo is kind and curtious. If you want more than just a tattoo, if you want a piece of art, Iron Rhino Tattoo is the place to go.

I’m scared of needles and was so worried going in, but it wasn’t an overly intimidating space like some shops can be, Kate was wonderful and I’m so happy with my piercings!!

Aaron is an amazing artist- listens to what I want and then helps guide me to what is going to look best over time. Ive been so happy with the results each time!

I have multiple tattoos from both Jak and other artists at the shop they all do amazing work the shop itself is very clean and inviting and the work the shop puts out is absolutely incredible Jaks shops have been my first choice for tattoos since, the realism pieces are insane and the artists are beyond talented I deffinately got my moneys worth and Ill be back for sure.

I went in after work on Saturday 3/11 to cover up a ring finger tattoo, they did it in 20 min. Jak was my artist, friendly and professional. Im definitely going back.

I only met one artist but he was extremely nice and I appreciate that, I am an extremely timid and nervous person so the fact that the receptionist and the artist that did my tat were so nice is huge for me. I will be going back for future tats.

Danii is very knowledgeable about piercings and put my friend and I at ease. I highly recommend going to her for your piercings, she doesn’t use cheap jewelry and doesn’t just pierce you to make money.
