High Priestess Piercing & Tattoo

Got my first tattoo done with Vivian a couple of days ago. Good communication beforehand, they and the other staff all seemed very polite and professional. Vivian was great making design adjustments as I requested. Still waiting for it to heal of course, but a great experience overall and will definitely consider them for any future tats or piercing.

Very clean studio with polite staff.Do be prepared to schedule an appointment ahead of time on their website; they rarely accept walk-ins. Ive gone to get my Ashley piercing (pic attatched), and I have also taken my mom for her labret (video); both experiences were quick and professional.No complaints, just a little pricey (as most piercing shops are). Ive spent $100+ on each piercing, but they do give you a care kit and information.

I got my ears pierced for the first time at age 24. I decided to go here because of good reviews and I’m glad I did, the staff was very nice and informative. My piercer, Seth was wonderful, and I felt very comfortable there!

I really wanted to take a moment to say that the staff here are awesome I went into High Priestess to get my ears checked out on sizing due to not having plugs for over 11 yrs, what a trip anyways Megan Giesbrecht hooked it up. Im very greatful for the kindness and guidance to getting me back on track for 00. Thank you for helping me get on track! Your quick at your work and very kind. Just gotta say customer service here is on point.

Took the leap and got an intimate piercing. Megan took care of me before, during and after. The entire process was healing and comforting. Ill be back for more!

MASONS THE BEST!!! Super cool dude, very easy to talk to, super down to earth guy, and did a great job on both my nostril piercings. Very thorough with his work and explained everything clearly with how the piercing process is done and after care. How every Megan is super rude. She gave my husband a nasty glare and yelled at me when I touched my gauges. When we left she was talking under her breath and it did not have a nice tone. Very unprofessional lady.

I just got my earlobe’s pierced by Megan and she was very professional and caring. She guided me on what to expect during my procedure and it was wonderful. Over all the experience was perfect and what I expected. Will definitely recommend to friends and family to go here for piercings!

I visited for the first time for a new piercing and had a great experience! Everyone was so kind and tried to make me feel as comfortable as possible. I was also impressed by how thoroughly they clean and sanitize everything!

Seth pierced my 6 year old daughter’s ears. She loved how soft spoken he was and how he explained every step to her so she knew what to expect. This is an excellent studio. It is extremely clean, beautifully decorated, and the staff is outstanding. I had my earlobe piercings corrected, and I don’t have tattoos, but if I were going to have a tattoo, this is the place I’d go. Seth and Dylan took great care of me and my ears. Highly recommended.

Both of the people that did my piercings were friendly and down to earth. They are also a bit pricey

Danny did my nose piercing. I really appreciated his upbeat personality! The last time I had a piercing was when I was 9. He made me feel comfortable and at ease with my nervousness. The other staff were also awesome! My whole experience was positive. I would highly recommend High Priestess Piercings to any of my friends!Just came back to get my stud changed to a hoop. This time I saw Dylan. He was quick and efficient. I’m very happy with my new look! I will also mention that I’ve had great experiences with the staff at the front desk. Each time I’ve been, they’re very helpful with all of my questions.

BIG SHOUT OUT TO DYLAN!!!!! My cousin and I went in a few days ago. I got my faux snug and my cousin got her septum pierced. Dylan was amazing. He was super friendly and had a very calm demeanor, which really helped with my nerves. We had a great experience start to finish. The receptionist, I didn’t get their name, was freaking FANTASTIC as well. I will continue going to High Priestess for my piercings!!

Three times in the last 6 months I have gotten piercing services at High Priestess in Salem on Center Street and as soon as I get done posting this I am going to book my forth appointment!!!

Went here for a nostril piercing with a friend who was getting nipple piercings. I like how clean the place is and the decor they chose for the place. The staff is very nice, professional, and are good at answering any questions you may have about a piercing. Our piercer was so amazing that honestly, the piercing didnt even hurt. Definitely recommend this place for anyone looking at getting a piercing 👍

Got a tattoo from Flicka in three sessions about six to ten months ago and still cant stop staring because it is so good! It healed really well with no blowout, the colors are still vibrant, and the drawing is superb. I am itching to set up for another appointment when Ive filled the piggy bank again. Flickas art is well worth saving for!

So happy!I got my septum pierced here!Kennie encouraged me to pick a cute and comfortable ring as well as one to replace another current nose ring so it’d be more of a matching set.Dylan was super chill, walked me through the whole process and made the appointment quick and seamless.While on great occasion you may be able to slip in for a walk-in, you’ll have a much better chance if you make an appointment. I was able to make an appointment for the next day during a time that worked best for me and making the appointment online was very easy. (:

So I have a low pain tolerance and am easily scared, the piercer Dylan did such an amazing job keeping me calm and talking to me the whole way, he explained each step and gave me the few breaks I asked for without issue.The front staff was super friendly and was able to answer my questions. Its a nice clean environment, quiet and calm - over all it was a great experience.Once this is healed I plan on going back for another by him cause as someone with anxiety having an artist talk you through is just worth going back to em.

Took my daughter to get her bridge done today. Its our first time going here. The staff was amazing, warm and very welcoming. They made the whole experience fantastic. The entire atmosphere was welcoming and felt safe. I was expecting the piercing to cost over $200 since she picked non standard jewelry, but it was well under, including after care products and tips. We will 100% be going back here for all our piercing needs. I highly recommend.

Came to Oregon from Cali. Had to get a few piercings and they were all so great. Totally chill vibe, they answer all questions and make sure you get what you like. Got a Monroe and nose piercings, not painful at all. Great place.

We brought our 10 year old daughter in for ear piercings.The initial experience was great. We were ASSURED that if any problems were to arise, that we should come back.2 months later the back of her earring got mildly infected.This is where your experience will suffer.The (different than original) tech looked at her ear and stated that while he was fully able to address the issue, he refused he stated her age as the factor.So they will take $300 to pierce, but when the TRUE PROFESSIONALISM needs to come into play, these jokesters are no different then going to Claires @ any Mall.Do not let the trendy shop & edgy wannabes here fool you.This is a strip mall Stick and Go operation and you will be treated a such

Danny did a great job being patient with our daughter and us, as parents. He was kind and answered our questions. Great job in earring location. Studio is clean and front desk employee friendly. They take reservations which I appreciated as well. Memorable experience!

Danny did my septum and did a fantastic job. Can’t speak highly enough of Danny’s customer service as well. I will not be going to any other piercers moving forward. Hurt way less than expected and I felt really comfortable having Danny do the work. Very confidence inspiring person. 10/10 would go back. I also really respect the shops stance on using quality USA materials. That holds value to me.

Lily did my tattoo. The lines are crooked. I did not complain. However, my friend got the same tattoo and she pressed too hard creating it to blow out. The artist assured her that she would fix it by putting white inside of the heart. It is obvious both the white and the blow out still and she has stopped contact with my friend. I hope that this will save someone from going to this artist. We also paid $100 each for a heart tattoo that took less than 10 minutes..

Ive had tattoos and piercings here and I would never go anywhere else! You get what you pay for and High Priestess is quality. Piercer Jay is professional, friendly, and skilled. Tattoo artist Flicka creates gorgeous tattoos that receive compliments near daily.

Got my lobes repierced here. Very good experience. My friend went for a piercing and I didnt have a scheduled appointment but they let my get my piercings anyway, very sweet of them. The overall price was around $150 with jewelry, cleaning solutions and the piercing. Super easy, they make you feel extremely comfortable, allow your friends in with you and everything. Plus the staff were just overall great!

Took my daughter there for her birthday. She was nervous but they are pros there.

I have gotten now 4 piercings done from here, by Dylan, and it was such a great experience. Very gentle experience, everyone there was super sweet and explained everything so well. 10/10 will get pierced again

Our 7 year old daughter had finally decided that she wanted her ears pierced.We chose High Priestess of Salem, mainly, because I know their wonderful reputation in Eugene. But first I called around 5 different piercing and tattoo businesses in the Salem area. I wasnt especially impressed with any of them. High priestess was helpful and kind over the phone, reasonable prices and a central location. When we got there it was a clean and relaxing atmosphere. We were greeted with a smile by Taylor, who walked us through everything we needed, making sure our daughter got all of her questions and comments answered. Her piercer Dylan was calm and professional. Even though my daughter talks when shes nervous. There were a few tears for her second earlobe. But he calmly talked her through it without hesitation. All around fantastic experience! The best part is, that over the last couple days there has been zero swelling or irritation in her new piercings. Everyones body responds differently, but its truly surprising. Her ears are barley sore! 10 out of 10 will recommend to anyone getting a piercing around here!

Such an amazing experience. My daughters and I went in for piercings. I made the appointments ahead of time online. The shop is clean and professional. Kenny, at the Front Desk, answered all of our questions prior to getting our piercing and helped us with selecting our jewelry. They have an amazing selection and their prices are more than fair. The piercer, Zach, was a Guest Piercer. He was wonderful. He made everyone feel comfortable and the experience was quick and near painless. We felt well taken care of and would recommend High Priestess to anyone looking for a great experience with a fun, clean and professional atmosphere. We love our new piercings!

Yesterday I went in to have my piercings removed (11) and the guy there was amazing. I was panicking because I have MRI today and found out all piercings needed to come out for safety reasons.Anyways this employee opened their lock doors to me and even though you are expected to make appointment prior online before receiving service from them he allowed me to enter. I told him my story and he was kind enough to work me in such short notice. I was so happy and grateful 🙏 I appreciate this business hiring such committed and hard working employee. I well go back again and I highly recommend this business I wish I could rate them 10 stars instead of 5 only allowed ❤️

Tattoo guy took over an hour to set up when most artists take 5 minutes. I told him I wanted two words in cursive, no regular handwriting. He comes back with 4 or 5 options. Only 1 cursive. Uses a dark purple to write it on my skin. So dark he couldnt tell what he was actually doing on me and the tattoo process took 3 minutes. Went home and washed the purple off to find he barely tattooed me and missed several areas. My Tattoo wasnt even finished when it only consisted off 2 short words. Took forever to set up a touch up appointment for free through email. Then this guy ruins my Tattoo because his hand isnt steady at all. Now my Tattoo isnt cursive because he wouldnt connect letters and it looks like a child wrote it. I will never go here again. These artists need some more experience.

I had an incredible experience from start to finish! The staff at the desk (Im sorry I didnt catch her name) was SO helpful and informative about my new piercings and which new jewelry would look good for my current piercing. Danny was very thorough with aftercare and what the piercing process would be. I barely felt the piercings and he was so quick! 11/10 I will definitely be back and I encourage you to check out High Priestess for your piercings needs, you wont be disappointed!!

My daughter turned 8 & decided she was ready for her first piercing. (ears)She was so good! Tiny flinch but no tears & no hands were thrown 🤭So so thankful the two working that day were beyond patient & kid friendly, my daughter was comfortable the entire time even asking all her questions 🥰

Lily did a tattoo for me and a friend..... we asked her to make sure the lines were straight (this is on our body for life) both of our tattoo lines were all jagged and definitely not straight....this artist pressed to hard on my tattoo causing a blow out she agreed to fix it. With white ink! I went in she tried to cover the blow out lines with the white ink. She told me to check back with her 2 weeks later, she never responded when I reached out to have he check my tattoo. Very over priced for what we got.

I brought my 8 yr old daughter for her first ear piercing, and was very happy with the results. Danny was very professional and patient with the procedure. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a similar procedure.

Piercing was done with great care. All of the staff I worked with were very cautious to keep everything sterile and safe. But they are also hilarious, fun, and entertaining. Piercer put me at ease and was gentle. When I went back to downsize, I had another great experience with everyone. Even though they were running behind on appointments (not a normal day) they were apologetic and gave me great service again.

Always a great experience here — I don’t generally make appointments and have been able to walk in and browse jewelry, buy and set up to change my jewelry as well! The customer service by the front desk person as well as the piercer has been amazing all three times I’ve visited!

I got a tattoo infection as soon as I removed my tattoo wrap, I noticed a bad smell and my tattoo was warm to the touch and painful.I went into urgent care and they confirmed tattoo was infected. I did reach out to tattoo artist Clash. I won’t be returning. I hope everyone has a better experience.

My fiance and I got these done for our 10 yr anniversary! The staff there is amazing and I have found my tattoo parlor and the artist I will always be going to Curby, who is the artist who did these for us! Thank you Curby!

I personally have not been tattooed here but have gone with friends and their pieces have been incredible. I have been pierced during a promo here- I wouldn’t go again as I got my belly button done and the piercer didn’t quit get close enough to my navel so the piercing never healed properly (even after a year) and infected from never healing until I removed it. I’ve known people to get great piercings here but maybe they just weren’t good at doing bigger girl navels? Or an off day? Regardless their jewelry is great.

Addictions is cheaper and uses surgical quality jewelry. We wouldnt pay $250 for four lobe piercings so they demanded to know where we could get it for less as they scoffed at us, we told them, and they scoffed again and insisted their jewelry is superior.Cringe all around. You need to teach your workers about professionalism.

Had a wonderful experience at High Priestess today!! Both myself and my 11 year old daughter were pierced by Danny and I couldnt be happier.Nostril piercing for me... Ive had many piercings but he still impressed me greatly!Mainly I came to brag on how he handled my daughter getting really nervous/emotional beforehand. She was getting her lobes pierced a 2nd time and although she remembers the 1st ones, it was 6 years ago and she was still freaked out.Danny stopped everything once he saw she was starting to cry and said we could take all the time she needed and even stop if she decided she didnt want to do it at all (even if she did one lobe and decided she didnt want the 2nd one). She got through it and went on to do great!! I just really loved that he made sure she knew there was nothing wrong with being nervous and needing some time to calm herself a bit.Additionally, I could tell Danny was VERY mindful in calling my daughter them/them until he was sure of her pronouns which I found to be very considerate!Also, they gal who helped us pick jewelry, explain aftercare, process payment, etc was very knowledgeable, patient, and friendly!I absolutely recommend this shop to anyone!

My time there was fun and easy. My Piercer who I sadly forgot their name, They were really great they made me feel relaxed and not stressed. The lady that helped me pick out jewelry was super helpful as I didnt know exactly what kind of jewelry I wanted. For it was my first time getting a nose piercing. And it was my first time being at High Priestess. I highly recommend.

Ive had a variety of piercings done at HP and have never once been disappointed. Their staff is kind, helpful, and very personable. Their jewelry selection is fantastic and they do custom orders as well. Jay (the manager and a piercer) is phenomenal and I cant recommend him enough. Very clean and professional establishment that makes you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. Ive been going for about 4 years and Ill continue to go for a long time

I am so very happy with my experience here and cant wait to come back. We came in during their event to help raise money for a pet charity. We got a little break on pricing and they donated a portion to a great charity!The lady working the counter in the front was super helpful and listened to all of my concerns and answered all of my questions before I got a nose piercing. She helped me pick out the perfect jewelry and I LOVE it!The piercer was an awesome guy who helped to make sure my new piercing would be set right and would be able to accommodate all kinds of different jewelry in the future. The piercing was quick and easy and he really helped put me at easy. I would go back to him over and over again.One of the other things I loved about this place was their pricing. I had looked at getting my nose pierced at another company about a year ago and they were over twice as expensive as High Priestess normal pricing. I really got a lot of great value for a VERY good price.Lastly, the shop was exceptionally friendly and LGBTQ friendly. As youll see in my other reviews... This is a VERY big deal to my family and myself. Not one time did I or my wife feel out of place or unwelcome here. I really cannot wait to go back!

I went there about four times and always had a bad experience. the last one was for the purpose of putting in new nose jewelry. It had closed so the guy had to open it up a little by putting a needle in my nose but it was too painful. He said that maybe Ishould pierce it again but he couldnt do it because I hadnt set up an appointment but I was already there. I live an hour away from this place and nothing was done but something could have been if it wasnt for these stupid rules. Aint coming back there again

Had an amazing experience here with my 13 year old getting her upper cartilage pierced for her birthday. Staff were amazing and her piercer was very informative and straightforward about our options. (She wanted to get the double pierced bar across the top, but he informed us of all the care that takes and advised we start with the single piercing first to see how she does with that) and we couldnt of been happier with the outcome. Pricing was fair and I would 100% recommend this place to any and all.Side note on needing birth certificate for those younger than 18- we were just beginning to move into a new house and I couldnt find her b.c anywhere so called in before her appt and they worked with me and let me bring in her insurance card for her piece of identification as long as it contained her full name and mine, that with my ID was enough for her to get her piercing done. Thank God!!

Amazing experience here! The piercer was amazing! I recommend Bunny! I will be coming back for any future piercings. She eased my worries and talked me through the entire process. The front desk staff was helpful as well.

My teen and I went for jewelry upgrades on several existing piercings. The counter person and piercer were very helpful in sizing and jewelry recommendations based on our taste. This shop is owned by the same company that owns HTC in the metro Phoenix AZ area I have also been to and loved. We felt comfortable the entire time. We will definitely come back to this shop for more piercings.

I am giving them one star because of the front desk lady. I have been here 3 times all of which was buying jewelry and having it inserted in an already pierced hold. She is so rude, unfriendly, and just makes the whole experience terrible. The good part is Danny & Dillon whom are very enjoyable, sweet outgoing people and they always educate. Unfortunately this 3rd time will be my last because of the front desk lady with blue hair. I only came because Jori Zans is booked until April. Just wait Jori. Her business and establishment are worth the wait!!

I really love this place and have had good experiences over the last few years. All my piercings have healed well, and I got some quality gold jewelry for them too.My complaint is that I can’t order anything online and they don’t ever return my calls when I try to call and order jewelry. They also don’t seem to answer the phone in general, so I’ve left messages three times over the last year and they have never called me back. I would email them, but they don’t seem to have one available to customers, unless I missed it somehow.I needed a specific piece for my next downsize and I can’t order it unless I make an appointment since I have no other way of getting in contact with them (they don’t do walk ins), and I know they probably wouldn’t have the piece, so I would have to make another appointment after they order it to get it swapped out when it comes in. That’s a lot of hassle when I can just order the piece online from another piercer and swap it out myself. I wanted to get it all done locally, because I do love the business and don’t mind putting money into it, but at this point I’m just going to get pierced there and do jewelry ordering somewhere else.

Would definitely recommend. Very clean, nice staff, easy process. They were very knowledgeable, and my piercing process was very quick, easy and painless (I got my septum done). Overall, for my jewelery, piercing, and the little extra I paid for a HUGE bottle of spray, I paid $80, which was shockingly cheap for all of that, in comparison to other places. Definitely coming back later for my helix piercing sometime in November.

I brought a friend there for new plugs for her ears. The associates were very friendly, very clean and sterile, as well as very prompt and professional. They took the time to help her pick the correct size and style, as well as helped her fit them. Id definitely recommend them to anyone looking for great customer service.

What a wonderful experience. I was on the cancelation list. Then they called me to come in. When I tried to call them back no one answered. I left a message and did t hear back. So I went down there to talk to them in person and they were still able to take me even though they gave the appointment away. It was so nice to still be seen. Absolutely LOVE and would recommend a million times over again. Had a double forward helix done and it was completely painless. All the staff members were friendly and answered all my questions. No pain during the piercings and zero issues post-op. The soreness to touch was gone by day three.

My very nervous daughter had a GREAT experience with Megan! She did a fantastic job of explaining everything she did and making the experience a good one for my daughter.

Artists are knowledgeable, have really good talent, and are not priced badly. My mum and I went in to get matching tattoos and we were both done with in an hour and a half. You have to put down a portion of the cost of the piece to hold the appointment which is nonrefundable, but it makes sense because they want to make sure they are booking only serious clients that arent going to flake on them. Really nice and caring staff as well.

Brought my daughter here to get her ears pierced about a month ago. Absolutely loved the staff and everyone was super happy and informative. Everyone was super supportive of my daughters ear piercing being her choice because shes not quite 4 years old yet. She was adamant about getting her ears pierced and everyone was okay with taking it at her pace. Her ears have been healing super nice and clean. This parent and child duo couldnt be happier. :D

Loved the experience, went in during covid but everything was very well cleaned, never at any point did I feel at risk. Jay did an awesome job with my helix, conch and double lobe piercings. Definitely plan on going back for more piercings.

Absolutely wonderful piercing & tattoo studio. Its bright inside, with a comfortable layout, good waiting area, convenient Flash wall with stools to sit while perusing the Artists portfolios. The last time I visited, the countergirl seemed new to the position, & a little scatterbrained. She couldnt quite grasp the implications of my Blindness. Thats OK, though. Jay, whom Id never worked with, changed my nose ring quickly & painlessly. He was Extremely friendly, funny, helpful, & understanding of my disability. Most importantly, he was very polite & a perfect gentleman to my 75yr old Mom. Sometimes, people who work in the Body Art community, forget that not everyone has a foul mouth or appreciates crassness. Jay was NOT one of those. Also, hes a friend to Cats, as am I. Great place, great people, great prices. 👍👍😺

Super sterile and clean. Really nice guy who did my helix cartilage piercing. He talked me through exactly what he was gonna do and then exactly what I should do for aftercare. My piercing hasn’t gotten infected which is surprising for a cartilage piercing. Super cute and classy! Would 10/10 recommend!

Wanted a tat on my palm, got denied back in the day. Piercings are done professionally and was pleased with my snake bites. Lots of choices and polite staff.Had a tattoo done with them recently, pleased with it, will come in for a touch-up in a month.

Aileen was amazing! My husband hadnt had rings in his ears for years, and she was able to put jewelry with no problem. Voluntarily saved us a piercing fee, and was very quick and professional. So amazing! And Sam at the counter was funny and knowledgeable.

Hands down probably the best experience I’ve had at a piercing studio in years. Walked in and was seen within minutes to get my back dermals removed. They were super sore and I was obviously not super pumped to get them taken out but the piercer was AWESOME and he talked to me through all of it and always warned me before putting pressure & all that fun stuff.The studio itself it’s gorgeous and super clean and great vibes.Actually don’t think I’ll ever be going anywhere else for piercings now! This place is amazing. So knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Got 3 piercings 6 months ago here and due to my own fault, was having problems. Came back and they took care of everything to help them heal. I was afraid I was going to have to take them out permanently. Huge shout out to Jay! An amazing piercer - I didn’t feel anything having them cleaned and changed out.

My friend and I just got our nostrils done by Dillon. Super professional shop, very easy going and comforting staff, and super professional piercer. One of the brightest, cleanest shops I’ve ever been in to be certain and definitely worth the price. We will be returning for all our piercing needs.

Aileen is AWESOME! Got my daith done by her almost 2 weeks ago. Its healing great and didnt even hurt for 24 hrs. She was super patient with me as a went back and forth on whether or not I wanted to go through with it. I know I took up more of her time than I should have but she never pushed me to make a decision. She also called Sam back from the front counter to hold my hand because I was nervous. Hands down a great experience!

The nice guy doing the piercing was great. Two girls working counter out front not good front desk people. Stereo too loud to hear what they are saying behind plexiglass and masks. Boarder line rude. If that overwhelmed by Covid-19 they should close or get retrained. If it wasnt for my daughter wanting ears pierced I would of spent money elsewhere.

I have been to the shop a few times, usually with friends, but I have never been a customer. But after my recent experience here, I will never be stepping foot back into this shop, and I will never recommend for anyone I know to go here for a tattoo or a piercing. Each experience I have had at this shop has been a terrible experience.But recently, I went and got piercing from here after a friend of mine told me there was new people working there, and the rude people were gone. But wrong. Anyways, after I got the piercing I wanted, the lady who pierced me told me to come back in two weeks to switch out the jewelry, but I told her I already had jewelry from when I had the same piercing a few years ago, and she asked me where I got it, so I told her which shop I got it from. And she said she never heard of the shop, and Im pretty sure she assumed it was cheap jewelry from a sketchy shop. But little did she know, I never had any issues from the stud I had in before. Which Im sensitive to most jewelry. So it definitely wasnt cheap jewelry. But anyways, back to my point. As I was telling her, she rudely threw her hand up in the air and said its your body, do whatever you want to do with it. I was still speaking when she rudely cut me off. As we were walking to the front desk so I could pay for the piercing I had just got. I told her I got seven other piercings from the place I got the jewelry from. And again, she rudely cut me off to respond with its whatever, your body. Oh, and she was also talking trash about the place I got all my other piercings from. Which in my book that is HIGHLY unprofessional. Especially because the place I had gone too for all my other piercings, they have never, not even once bad mouthed another shop.

This is where I got my nose piercing done, Prices were a little high but the shop was super clean and the staff was very nice, definitely worth the couple extra bucks. Have recommended this place to everyone who I know who has gotten a piercing since. Will be coming back here in the future for my next piercing.

Ive only had piercing work here and my experience has been a good one. Their workspaces are always organized to a T, very tidy. I look forward to coming in each month to stretch my earlobes. Danny is my favorite but the whole crew is friendly and professional.

I got my industrial done here about a month ago and they were absolutely amazing. Super friendly staff, cover everything before getting any modifications done, go over after care and are extremely patient when it comes to nerves which is great! Getting a tattoo done here next month as well, it’ll definitely be my go to place for body modifications.

I went in on 7/26 to get my nostril pierced, my first non-earlobe piercing. Id wanted it for a really long time but I was still very nervous! Danny was amazing. He explained everything thoroughly, gave me plenty of time to psych myself up and get ready for the actual piercing, and was really nice and patient about the whole thing. I live up in Beaverton but I will definitely be going down to Salem when Im ready for my helix.

My best friend and I got our first tattoos there. Both designs were expertly modified by the artists Eric and Jessica and then placed on perfectly. Eric took time to make sure my hip tattoo was going to go with my figure and be flattering on my body. Jessica added some extra pop to my friends turtle and made it a truly adorable piece that she loves. I loved the attitude of the artists and their great sense of humor. They made our first tattoo experience a fantastic one.

Ive been going to High Priestess for a long time. All of my piercings are done by various piercers of theirs and Ive gotten a ton of fantastic tattoo work by Flicka.Flicka is always spot on with designs I love and is awesome to work with. Always plays good music, has good conversation and is very cultured and just an amazing artist.Jay, my piercer for the last 3 pieces Ive gotten done, is a specialist and does perfect work every time. Very knowledgeable and has good opinions but lets me decide what route I want to go with each piece. Good with walking me through what hes going to do before doing it.Always recommend them. Came in today and the manager was amazing! helped me with a new nose ring, and when I told him about a past experience without hesitation offered to fix the problem and Brian fixed my tattoo on the spot and Im in tears of joy and happiness that a tattoo I wanted for my terminally Ill son was finally done right and looks so good. Ive always gone to addictions for my body art, since the change of ownership it has gone drastically downhill. Their newest piercer wrecked my face with crooked dermals placed upside down. After calling around for prices to remove them I found that High Priestess does jewelry removal for free! I couldnt believe my ears! So I happily rushed on in(yesterday) I was greeted and helped immediately. Wow. Outstanding service. The gentleman who removed them was so helpful and comforting. He removed them with ease, and quickly. All the other shops were estimating it would take an hour and $75(minimum) to remove them, he did it in about 10 minutes, tptally free of charge. Thank you so much for saving my face, and my wallet;) I definitely highly recommend these guys.

Called at 2pm this afternoon asking if a friend and I could get in at 5pm today for a small, simple matching tattoo. The woman on the phone told us just to show up at 5 so we made the hour and a half drive to the shop. We arrived at 4:30 and told the woman at the counter we were there to get tattooed and were told someone else was a walk in and was going to be helped first (which was fine) and we were told another artist ran home to “grab something real quick”. After sitting there for 10-15 minutes she came over and told us there was no time today and that we could come back tomorrow. After I explained we called a few hours ago and were told to come at 5 she still told us there wasn’t time today. Pretty disappointing after driving all the way for things to turn out the way they did. Especially after my friend (who was with me) told me how great they were with her and her boyfriends tattoos that they got yesterday.

I went here to get my first tattoo on m 18th birthday, which made it half off. My tattoos (I got two matching ones, one on each calf) took about 4 hours and Jessica was very pleasant through the whole experience, being very patient when I wanted to take breaks and when my legs twitched, and when I complained about the pain. Everyone there was very nice and patient with me while we were talking about the design and how specific I wanted it to be. I had a great experience here.

They overcharge for there jewelry and I bought a piece of jewelry from them and it broke within a couple of days($70) and it wasn’t being touched at all,the guy who pierced my upper part pierced it wrong and left me with severe scarring

This used to be my favorite place for spendy jewelry. Was in there2-16-19, sadly they dont have the selection they used to, and the person at the counter was surly and acted like I shouldnt be in there if I wasnt getting pierced or tatttattood right away. Sad. I was actually considering getting pierced there that day, but felt so unwelcome I went elsewhere and had a wonderful experience.

Went in there today to try to get a walk in tattoo for my girl friend and the artist wouldny get off his phone or stand up and come talk to us about her tattoo ideas. Then he kept being rude so we left. Pretty lame of the artist to not have passion about his costumers. I will say the lady at the front desk was pretty nice though.

Got my nose pierced. They walked me through every step, a thorough explanation of the after care was given, and it was a very welcoming experience from the moment I walked in the door to when I was pierced and left.

I came in and got my Monroe done in April the people were nice and everything but the bar they put in was too short. It got irritated and started swelling I went back in they put in a longer bar but didnt tighten it enough and I didnt know so I lost it that night. I had went to ink daddys to get my new bar and had a guy there put it in.

They did an awesome job at squeezing me in short notice and were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and welcoming. The place is very clean and would go back in a heat beat!

Got my monroe done here a couple of years ago. They put the wrong bar in and my monroe was sinking into my skin because it swelled so much. They tried to charge me for the right bar! When it was their fault that they put the wrong one in because he thought I wasnt gonna swell that bad. I also got my nipples pierced here but they wouldnt help me replace my piercing because the jewelry wasnt from their shop. I didnt want to pay 100$ for their jewelry when I already had my own!

Great tattoo and piercing place in town my wife has had an amazing tattoo done by kirby he covered up a old bad tattoo came out amazing so much she gets stopped constantly and asked where and who done it. Friendly staff and reasonable prices and quick piercings wife was in and out in under 25 minutes definitely come back again

Amazing experience! It was my first piercing, but the staff were very kind through all the steps, and they were very reassuring and calming.

When we went in a guy wrote up the paper work. Piercing X 2 =$20 and barbells X 2 =$50. (i though 50 was outrageous for 2 studs and 4 plastic balls). After jen did the piercings she rang it up at $120 so I pointed out the paper work said the total was $70. She then told me the paper work was wrong and the barbells are $50 each ( that is 1 stud & 2 plastic balls for $50) when I tried to argue the price she said shy could remove the piercing and we could go some where else it we did not like the price. So I paid it but I will not go back. I do not knot wich one of the 2 people that helped us scamed us or if this is just the way the business is the run.

I just went in to get a new nose ring and when I walked in and was greeted I just pointed at my nose and the girl yelled at me, DONT TOUCH YOUR piercing. STATE LAW.I asked, even though its in my nose and has been for years? She rudely said, State law.Before I could get another word in another girl came right up and told me I wouldnt be helped today because I brought my children.I have never treated so bad. The place was dirty and the people were extremely Rude. Will NEVER BE BACK. AND will tell EVEYONE HOW AWFUL my experience was.

I have an intense fear of needles, but am working to get over it. The gentleman that helped me pierce my ears was extremely patient and calm with me as I flinched when he took a toothpick and dotted my ear with ink. I have never been so calm around a needle before, and I plan to go back on 2/28 for a tattoo, possibly two.

This place is a joke! Their prices are way over priced for tattoos or piercings as well as jewelry. They never charged for putting the balls back on the jewelry for hoops and now they charge $5 just to put a ball on. Guess you gotta make monkey some way! I sure as hell won’t ever be going back!!

I dont usually come here i have a shop that near and dear to my heart but it was my 18th birthday finally didnt have to bring my dad along and guess what? my piercer is gone for the week so i went on a wim to HP and turns out they have a sale and have a discount for 18th birthdays! only paid $19+tip for a daith piercing i felt incredibly lucky! will consider this as another shop to consider i must say though they are a bit over priced!

I asked Ms. LILY why its so expensive and she had her rehearsed story on how needles are expensive, I had clearly stated thats not true cuz I work in a Laboratory and I know personally how much needles are. She stuttered then argued with me bout diff price points to make herself seem intelligent and I was sick of her rebuttals so I said Lily u keep telling ur story. Lets put it this way tattoo shops rip u off and blame it on there long 5min set up there expensive gloves and there really expensive .75 cent needles. Who pays 60bucks for 7min of work cuz my tattoo only took 2min to begin with and ur TRACING someone elses work. REDICK! but thats how they get u....She could have been relatable to the customer instead of insulting my intelligence. 👎

After having work done by an artist who was recommended by a friend and who worked cheap, (dont ever go for cheap!) I wound up with a hibiscus on my arm that looked like a f***ing petunia. I contacted Jessica because I had work that had been done by her late father at MPG. RIP Mark. I didnt even know she was at High Priestess at that point. She was busy but hooked me up with Flicka who was able to fix the petunia and continue on to give me a nice tropical themed half-sleeve.Three times Ive had to remove my earring for an MRI or surgery and each time Jan has cheerfully replaced it for free, even though I bought it at Nomad in Bend long ago.Ive never encountered any of the unpleasantness described by other reviewers. Maybe it depends on your own attitude when you go in?

Very unfriendly service. cannot even answer simple inquiries on the jewelry without being rude and condescending. also made a comment making it sound as if they dont even sterilize their jewelry prior to piercing. i let them know i was treated badly on their facebook but they deleted the post without apologizing or even responding in any way at all. this to me seems to show they have no concern for their customers whatsoever.

Rude service. Went in to talk to artist about my boyfriends first tattoo. Wanted to know if he had ideas or had drawn anything up according to what my boyfriend told him. Made up something about misplacing it, and when he finally found it it was the same art hed shown us the when we scheduled the appointment, someone with a similar tattoo. When we tried to talk to him about what we wanted, he told my boyfriend he disagreed with details about the tattoo that my boyfriend wanted (a simple design) and told us he thought we were overthinking the whole thing..... Im not going to just trust someone to put something on my body forever and pay for it without trusting that they will at least listen to what we want.

Thought the BOGO deal was a great idea and Id save money but they charged over $100 and charged way over price for jewelry which by the way 4 years ago they made a law that ALL shops must carry the same damn type of jewelry so I could have gone elsewhere saved money and paid $5 for my jewelry instead of $45.00 for something I didnt want! Also he used a 14 gage when he should have used a 16 gage... I will NEVER go back to this place again.. Scamming their customers isnt very cool...
